Welcome—Aurora Novae Dies…

Welcome friends to the dawn of a new day, a new beginning, a fresh start for friends and fellow Dolphin fans to meet, converse and enjoy all things Dolphins.

If you have any difficulty logging in please e-mail the site address:

Perhaps the greatest accomplishment this new blog has succeeded in is eliminating the need for a character to have a space between paragraphs. It’s the small things that really matter most in the end.

Draft season is here. We will breakdown just about everybody (except the guys we usually draft) project picks, campaign for players, campaign against players.

Free Agency will open soon to give us a better indication of where the Dolphins may go. Do you we spend BIG? Do you we take a more conservative approach? Let’s all figure it together.

We want you to consider this blog, as related to Sun Life Stadium, the newly renovated blog, the blog with the gigantic umbrella if you will.

This site, my friends, was built by a team of willing and contributing people who like you simply love to chat about our beloved Dolphins.

Welcome and enjoy!

I’m not into all-star games. I know there is some value to NFL teams from Senior Bowl week and the game, but ultimately all these players have a body of work teams go by. This is just one game with some of the top seniors. It shouldn’t have that much impact on draft status.

OK, gotta run folks, going to a party. Catch ya later tonight or tomorrow!

  3. stangerx says:

LUV all you guys Man (and girls). This bunch of nuckleheads pisses the shiot of me at times……but not like I’m going anywhere else. Not exactly sure why I mention that……… 🙂

LOL — just get your ass to the Fest next year and we can sort out how much of it is my hopeful delusions and my nightmares.

  8. rgs322 says:

Carl Davis is starting to get penetration on a good number of plays. Still, 2 great catches by the South WRs Lockett and Hall lead to the South tying it up at 10.

    • The Flying Pig says:

Carl Davis is a good looking DT
He is a leader and a good quality kid
      Right up Hickeys alley
If he was available in the 3rd round I think we would consider drafting him
Unless of course we took a DT like Shelton early

      • Tim Knight says:

D posted an interview of him with NFL reps as saying he didn’t always practice hard against over aggressive practice scrubs in college and teams should only play him half the snaps so he can be more effective. He came across as arrogant and lazy. Until then I really liked him for us. Kind of a Daryl Gardner type.

  9. Tim Knight says:

If we could get Eric Hendricks in the 3rd rd as a nickel LB/STs guy I think he makes an impact. He’s only 6-0 230 but he’s a good football player and athletic. He might be a guy who can make life difficult for receivers like Edleman. Just as fast and athletic, but bigger so he can knock them around a little bit. I could also see him as a STs Ace coverage guy.

  10. The Flying Pig says:

Omar mentioned Sammy Coates in twitter
I know we have DGB, Parker, White and I’m a Strong fan
But I am surprised I don’t hear more about Sammy Coates
    Guy runs something like a 4.38 40
    He is 6’2 too
    Sort if a freakish athlete

    • rgs322 says:

Coates has made a couple nice catches in the game, along with just missing getting a TD in the first half. …only one foot in.

  11. The Flying Pig says:

    Tim
I kind of belive Hendricks won’t last to the 3rd

  12. The Flying Pig says:

Still waiting for OD to show up

    OD where are you!!!

    • Tim Knight says:

Maybe he’s at a coin show, he seems to travel a lot. He’s not on FME either.

    • stangerx says:

Tim knows more than me before I talked to his lucky penny.
He’s been at a mutli-day coin show and will be back late tmrw.
He has all the info on the site (or at least his wife does).
Grand entrance coming……only Q is when.

  13. rgs322 says:

Running backs have looked good in this game. …With guys like Cobb, Johnson, Abdullah, and Artis-Payne all having nice multiple runs.

  14. rgs322 says:

First big mistake of the game, Diggs int return to the 10 yard line. …Bennett throwing the pick. …Cobb with the TD run 2 plays later..

  15. rgs322 says:

Really like the Nelson kid from Oregon St. He would look good playing CB for the Phins.

  16. rgs322 says:

Varga, the kid from Yale in on the action. …TD run. Good series for the Ivy leaguer.

  17. rgs322 says:

With the North pulling away here in the 4th, I’m done talking to myself. Good night all. lol.
