come on now i have not heard anyone defending him. i know i have not and i dont think mike e was either. i know i pretty much agreed with you that he has done that some this year. i just have said over and over to be fair. it isnt like he has holes to run thru. most of his dancning it in the backfield with two or three guys in his face. should he just plant a foot and run, yeah. but not like he is the cause of a lack of rushing yards. or i should say his dancing is.

That was kind of my thought on it. It wasn’t a great throw but it was not a terrible one and a nice play by the DB but he had enough muscle on the ball so it kept going after the tip.

yeah but when luck does it it is cause of his skill, when tanny does it is is cause he sucks.

this is where tim is right. the other team has players too. players that make plays. that was a great play by the d back. it ended up a lucky catch but it was a good pass that the d back made a great play on

didnt everyone last year bitch about wallace cause he didnt make adjustments. it was a better play by the d back, if he missed that it might have been a td.
again, tanny isnt the reason we are winning games but he also isnt the reason we lost that game.

first this isnt baseball or the nba. every game in the nfl counts. second, i did say before the season started i didnt care about the start but the finish. i just have lost all hope with this coaching staff. i would love nothing more then at the end of the season i am sucking crow and tell jahn and tim they are right. that the coaching is good.
FFR:
Improvement starting with the coaching is an understatement. This team looks like it has been sleep walking. We made Suh look pedestrian. We traded for Kenny Stills but did the coaching staff forget that? We have a banged up Branden Albert but they only had 6 OL active for the game yesterday.
This is a good example of the lb, not the DL doing a bad job
Jenkins is usually good
I think Sheppard has been the biggest problem so far
Our LB play has been terrible. Jenkins is the only reliable one out there imo. Misi has not done anything and Shepard has been God awful

i think it is bat, OD and myself calling for the coaches heads. so no need to tell me how bad they are. and as far as lb’s or oline. when you invest a 100+ mill on one player you ignore everything else. and when after two games that player is invisible well that makes you 1-1 against teams that are not that good.

You guys have not been the only ones calling for the coaches heads. Mike E has been and I wanted Philbin after last year. The Green Bay fest game was the one that really turned it for me on Philbin. That’s when I lost it in regards to his coaching ability but like you I hope by the end of the year I can say as wrong. Unfortunately the early indications this year don’t look promising.

yep, as hard as it is to say the jets doing anything right but yep
so far Phillips looks more like what we thought Suh should look like for a fraction of the cost
Suhs has taken a lot if heat
But he hasn’t been so bad
Just. It exactly dominant
He is just being double teamed and blocked at the knees a lot
Phillips is going against 1 guy in all the highlights
I can’t get on the I hate Suh bc he got a big contract bandwagon
His entire career has been beastly
These last 2 games don’t define him
Our LBs are making mistakes
And most of us knew that would be a problem
Our safeties seem to be making up for bad LB play in the 2nd half
If we can ever get ahead early
And we play a nickel base with 2 LBs our D might look better
I think the lack of priority of the lb position in the offseason was done with an expectation to play a little more nickel packages and not so much 3 LBs
Those LBs just aren’t very good
In this case – I think it’s talent more than execution or coaching/play calling

so the colts d holding down the jets and so far not looking to bad. and the bills scoring at will on them and he bills coming back against the pats yesterday. that does leave little hope to what the bills will do to the fins d come sunday.
