    From FANSIDED

In Sieler’s final 8 games of 2020, he was among the most productive defensive linemen in the NFL against the run. His 9 TFL’s were tied for second in the NFL with Aaron Donald and JJ Watt-and he did it on fewer snaps than either of them.

Sieler’s ability against the run is where he really shined, but he was also Miami’s best interior pass rusher. He led the team in sacks (3.5), sack rate (1.2%), pressures (22), and pressure rate (7.6%) from the interior.

Really dead time of year so football related. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/07/06/had-nfl-been-more-accepting-of-marijuana-ricky-williams-believes-he-would-be-in-canton/

Ricky, get over it. You don’t deserve Canton, you made your choice. Maybe he should stick to trying to promote his product…or does no one want to talk about that? It must be frustrating…
    ——————-

To both of you again and to my point: There is no “get over it” to get over by RW. HE’S BEEN OVER IT FOR YEARS AND WAS NOT GROUSING OR COMPLAINING OR WHINING OR WISHING FOR A DIFFERENT RESULT.

He accepted and chose his path. He did what he felt was best for him at the time. He retired and did something else.

The article and comments were extracted from an SI interview on-site piece they routinely do, like “where are they now?”

    Geez, loueez…..

Maybe you should read the article instead of the headline.

I’m a Ricky defender, and I still keep in contact with him (we email back and forth). Not sure why you put my name in this, Krishna.

      • mf13ss says:

You cut my response to New Age off, trying to make it look as though I was dissing Ricky. This is something I’ve noticed in the MSM, trying to lend credence to a BS story. SMH

Steve, right here is a great example, Brother!

      • Krishna says:

I cut your response because it was bullshit and offered nothing to the conversation or to my point.

        Not sure what you think you’re accusing I’ve done. I don’t hide….

  3. Tim Knight says:

Thinking about our defense because that’s what I do. 🙂

We added a key defender in all three phases in trading for McKinney, drafting Phillips and Holland in the 1st and 2nd round respectively. We added some other guys too, but I think these three change the makeup of our defense. Phillips on the edge, McKinney inside but will also move around, and Holland as a versatile DB with ballhawk skills. This defense has top 10 potential if these guys play up to expectations. 🙂

  4. Krishna says:

Oh, RW is launching his Highsmith brand. It will start with pre-game sativa and post-game indica. Halftime indulgence will be a blend.

Packaging will be burnt orange for UT, black and gold for Saints, and teal for Dolphins…..

    LMAO!!!!!

  5. mf13ss says:

CPL (Creepy Porn Lawyer, Michael Avendatti) was sentenced to prison time, for trying to extort $25M from Nike. Most on the left wanted him to run for president against Trump.

Kind of spooky who the left looks up to!

  6. son of a son of a shula says:

That “dog house” above actually looks pretty functional. Based on the guy across the street it doesn’t look as though it needs to be a stilt house so it probably looks especially out of place because a dog shaped house will always look out of place. Put that puppy near water and that’s a nice design with the face jutting out over the water or at least towards it.
They should make the actual dog house a Tudor or Victorian something like that lol

I did explain. Go back and read.
    ———-
Yeah, you explained (look at the timestamps)… only AFTER I asked you to explain.

Krishna, I’m not sure you’re worth my time, guy.

    • Krishna says:

I don’t think I’m worth yout time, for sure. I can’t be saved. Let’s leave at that.

      • mf13ss says:

I AGREED with you on Ricky! I made that CLEAR to you, and EVERYBODY! WTF is the problem today, pal?

      • mf13ss says:

Sorry, Krishna. You just frustrated me. Seems I can’t win with you, even when I absolutely agree with you.

That’s a very frustrating feeling, ya know?

  9. son of a son of a shula says:

Krishna, you were asking about Ricky’s retirement earlier. He left football right before camp was about to open in like ‘04 I think despite facing a lengthy suspension. So when he decided to return he had to serve the suspension then when he finally got back he got injured playing Steelers in Camoron’s illustrious stint. By the time he got back he was sharing snaps with Ronnie in Parcels regime, with may he Rest In Peace Tony Sporano , and finally retired for good in like 12 or 13. He left in his prime the first time.

    • Krishna says:

Thanks son. I appreciate you. It was a while ago and didn’t feel like looking up all the specifics. That’s why 5 suspensions not 4. He basically said, fuck it.

He couldn’t live by their rules. I get it!

  10. son of a son of a shula says:

For the record I love Ricky, loved watching him play. He had the ability to possibly be the best ever if things maybe went differently.

  11. son of a son of a shula says:

Seiler is a beast, didn’t realize he had such gaudy stats, he was always in at crunch time I remember that. I’ll bet you if you polled the team he’d be the guy no one would want to fight. Maybe besides Davis because he’s a freaking giant. He’s a mountain man who still lives in a trailer.

  12. mf13ss says:

I love Ricky and posted live-links here to his appearances on “The Apprentice” and more… seemed as though most were not interested.

When looking at their stats, #39 and #34 are very close in career numbers.

    • son of a son of a shula says:

Except for 3 straight Super Bowls and a Sea of Hands away from likely a fourth. I’m still broken hearted. But that’s the big difference to 39.

      • son of a son of a shula says:

And yes I’m aware the Raiders game wasn’t an AFC Championship game. Still.

    • mf13ss says:

And in short, ANYBODY who attempts to call me an anti-Ricky individual, I’ll get defensive!

Stanger, I need to practice your lesson to me better, sir. I know who I am, but I just got challenged and in an insulting manner. I know I can do better.

  13. wyoming85 says:

Nope you aren’t the only one Phish!

I have to be able to pass a random drug test to work!

  14. Krishna says:

mf13ss….you did say you supported RW and in your respone to Newage you white-washed your support of him.

Balls to walls, newage was throwing shit around and you smeared in it instead of standing up for RW who is your pen pal.

It was a weak endorsement and you did not defend him.

I am not that kind of person. Can you umderstand me now?

  15. wyoming85 says:

    Ricky is a quitter!

  16. wyoming85 says:

Ok I’ll give you that one Krishna!

  17. wyoming85 says:

    You can aspire to greatness!

  18. Krishna says:

    Fair enough.

    • Tim Knight says:

How do you cover Fuller, Waddle, Parker, Gesicki and Wilson when we go empty backfield? Most teams don’t have enough coverage for that. 🙂

Our offense has increased their speed to ludicrous level. LOL

      • Krishna says:

Exactly, and Tua needs to see all of them and the coverage to find the 2 or 3 that will/should be open…..lol.

      • Tim Knight says:

Yep! We’re building around him in all phases. That’s what you do with a young QB.

If you believe what Tua’s personal trainer said guesstimating, based on last year until now, Tua was probably 65% last year physically compared to right now. That’s a big difference.

This will not be the same team as last year. We should be much better. Lots of pieces in place.

      • Krishna says:

I know some here think it’s all plug and play….discounting major injury, rehab, NFL, out for a year, yada, yada, let alone missing the QB seminar on throwing mechanics. Tough to pick up the ball and run with it under those circumstances….no other rookie QB did that last year.

He may fail, but his odds of success have greatly improved.

      • Krishna says:

That OL needs to take it up a step or two.

  20. CavalierKong says:

I remember and am still pissed about that Ricky injury against the Steelers. One of the Steeler pricks stomped on his chest when he was down. I want to say it was a torn pectoral.

    • CavalierKong says:

Just looked it up, he stomped on his shoulder.

    • CavalierKong says:

What I didn’t remember is that it was Lawrence Timmons who did it, and he would later become one of the Dolphins.

      • son of a son of a shula says:

Yeah and the molly he got from Pouncey freaked his ass out and he went AWOL right before the season was starting.

I think he’s underestimating us but an ok doldrums article. I don’t understand the Wentz love, and he’s terrible at prognostications but still something to read. Training camp is less than 3 weeks so we are getting there.

    • Mike E. says:

I think that guy sucks. Patriots over Dolphins? Uh-uh. There are others that I didn’t like but c’mon

    —————————–
That was going to be my response. Trips to one side with Fuller, Waddle and Wilson. Parker on the other side then you have Gesicki. Safeties are going to piss themselves.

  25. Mike E. says:

Rob – I can say the same thing with Gaskin. Maybe you got it backwards

  26. bailbondmike says:

I don’t want t bring up the discussion of X being a bitch about his contract and whether he is worth it or not. Just going to bring up a trade possibility if it gets to that point.

M13 had a good trade scenario. I was thinking, with his injury history and fact he is not considered the #1 CB in the NFL by many, he won’t garner a 1st round pick unless by itself.

I read an article that brought this trade scenario up. What if we traded X to Detroit for their second round pick which could be around #34 to #39 and DE Trey Flowers? Flowers is solid in run D and pass rush which got him his huge contract in Detroit. He played in our system his entire career and knows it inside and out from playing under Flores/Patricia in NE his 1st three seasons and then Patricia in Detroit the last 2 seasons. He did get injured last season but is fine and had nothing to do with his knees or legs. Before last season, he averaged 7 sacks a season, 30 sacks and 9 FF in 67 games played.

Some of his 2021 base salary is guaranteed, so if I am not mistaken, Detroit would be on the hook for some of his 14 mil this season. After that, he comes at a hit of 16 mil per in 2022 and 2023 but could be restructured.

Ogbah will be a F/A next year and will demand much more money. Let him ball out this year for that last big contract and get us a nice comp pick.

    Just a thought.

    • bailbondmike says:

More I think about it, I really like Ogbah though. Wonder how much his camp is asking for? In just one season in this defense he had more production than Flowers ever had in any season in this system. Sheesh, what to do…

    • steveccnv says:

Detroit wouldn’t be on the hook for his 2021 contract, unless it was worked into the trade.

In general the team trading for a player is on the hook for current year’s salary, with the guarantee only coming into the equation, if the player is cut.

      Cutting team responsible for guarantees
