Rookie Training Camp has started and all the rookies are under contract!
Read about it here!

DeVante Parker looked good on his first day of rookie camp. He will be wearing #11. which is good because #1 would be awkward. See all the rookie’s numbers (for now) here

I’m sure you cried yourself to sleep last night. But in case you missed it La’el Collins will not be a Miami Dolphin. He will be a jerk instead.

Nope, that is not your Dion Jordan jersey on fire. Rumor has it that the Dolphins will offer an alternative orange jersey in 2015.

Dare to dream. What will the Dolphins starting lineup look like in 2015. Bleacher report has some ideas
10 out of 10 proctologists confirm: Tom Brady is an asshole.

LET’S GO DOLPHINS!!!

James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL
BTW, I forgot to tweet this earlier: Second-year WR Matt Hazel is out here getting extra work at rookie camp.
That’s how you play the game and make the team.
Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly
Zach Vigil moves differently than all the other linebacker. I’m not saying he’s better, but he’s smooth with his movement. No wasted motion.
Everyone is talking about Vigil lately
he is the rookie camp sweetheart of the UDFA
Me & Dbolt I think it was, really loved his film in college!
Uh Ken, seems like Phillips is already out to prove the doubters WRONG! 🙂
Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly
Jordan Phillip just killed every dummy. They didn’t even come up after he slapped them. (Jaw open)
Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly
Every other D-lineman slaps the dummy and it bobbles. Jordan Phillips slaps them to the ground. All four! Impressive.
Omar Kelly ✔ @OmarKelly
DeVante Parker has a ridiculous catch radius, and catches everything with his hands. It’s very impressive.
Keep in mind that Tanny isn’t even throwing to him yet. Parker is gonna be a very nice draft pick for Miami!
Yeah, we read that in the scouting reports too…
A 6’2 Sean Smith that can catch the rock!
James Walker ✔ @JamesWalkerNFL
#Dolphins CB Tony Lippett gets his first INT in one-on-ones. The converted WR caught the ball easily, as he should.
In case you were wondering and I know you were
Wedge compared Parker to a Galactus radius Grenade based on his catch radius
Lol! Change it to #11!

Alright it’s time to go get some beers. I am out. Peace to you all.
Enjoy!

Reports of a 6-8 game suspension for Brady. Dolphins are New England’s seventh game.
remove dash and call it and even 68 games
Oh God please let that be true. We play them on my birthday this year and I will seriously consider going if Brady isn’t playing.
Ken,
I was not the least bit serious about a ne bias- I hope you know that. Well, mostly…;-)
Brian, I’m sure it will be 6 games, the NFL wouldn’t want the Phins to beat NE without Brady.
I can also bet that whatever the suspension is, it will be appealed and later reduced to next to nothing after the publicity dies down….business as usual for the Cheatriots!!!
Signs continue to mount that the injury suffered by Jaguars rookie Dante Fowler today is a bad one.
According to Michael Silver of the NFL Network, Jaguars General Manager Dave Caldwell replied to a text about Fowler’s condition with one word.
“Brutal.”

That really sucks for Fowler & the Jags!!! I feel bad.

Yeah thats awful.
Damn Dante Fowler out for the year.
…from PFT….WOW!
Ex-Patriot Damien Woody: I believe Tom Brady cheated
Posted by Michael David Smith on May 8, 2015, 4:24 PM EDT
Former Patriots center Damien Woody, who snapped the ball to Tom Brady thousands of times and won two Super Bowl rings with him, believes that Brady was behind Deflategate.
Woody engaged in a debate on ESPN today with fellow former Patriot Tedy Bruschi, and although Bruschi defended Brady and said he doesn’t think the Patriots are cheaters, Woody said he agrees with the Ted Wells report, which found that the preponderance of the evidence shows that Brady cheated.
Bruschi asked Woody if he believes Brady told Patriots employees to deflate the footballs the Patriots would use in the AFC Championship Game, and Woody answered, “I do believe that.”
Woody said he read the Deflategate report and found it convincing. Woody added that he doesn’t believe the AFC Championship Game is the first time Brady cheated.
“From the texts of Jim McNally, him labeling himself ‘the Deflator’ tells me that this wasn’t the only time. When you’ve given yourself a label, to me that insinuates that this action has happened multiple times. I’m looking at it as this has happened multiple times, not only this particular situation, but it’s happened in the past before,” Woody said.
Bruschi asked Woody, “You believe Tom Brady would tell someone to do something illegal?” Woody answered, “Yes.”
Woody said he respects Brady as a great player, but also thinks Brady is such a competitor that he’d do anything to find an edge. Even cheat.
Everyone knows. Except for Tom’s Dad, and Scotty of course.
This one might put Mike E in tilt mode.

Colin Kaepernick @Kaepernick7
No football in the world is going to help you win by 38! Let it go and let Tom be great!
Lmao
Awaiting moderationnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
That really sucks for Fowler and the Jags. I feel terrible for them. I wish that would have happened to Collins.
Tere’s still plenty of preseason time for that.
“There’s”
😉
MODERATION my ass, Miss Gigi!! – – – Belicheat, Robert Krap (who dated a woman half his age the day after he buried his wife) and Tom Brady are all part of the same family of CHEATERS!!–I hope, and BELIEVE, ex-Dolphin great Troy Vincent WILL BRING THE HAMMER DOWN ON THIS DESPICABLE FRANCHISE OF CHEATERS, MURDERERS, AND LIARS!!

Jaguars’ 1st-round pick Dante Fowler tore his ACL and is out for the season, league source tells ESPN. Just wow.
Sheesh, did the Jags organization trade Babe Ruth in another life. That poor team can’t catch a break.
Wow that really sucks for Fowler and the Jags. I hate hearing reports like this.
Now, if were the cheats first round pick…
if it were
I DO, TOO. However, the fact we’ve got an early season game at the Jags might mean Miami’s task will be a bit easier than it might have been!
We didn’t have a 3rd, but with our 2nd and 6th we drafted Phillips, McCain, and Lippett. I like that better than having the 3rd. Phillips played like he was bored in college.
Seems like every player on the team is in the mold of Philbin now and a scheme fit, no more excuses Joe, gitter done.
STEVE: Last year at this time virtually ALL OF US said another 8-8 season featuring a December melt-down would lead to the firing of Philbin. –WELL, after another 8-8 season with a December melt-down, Philbin was allowed to twist slowly in the wind (a NIXON-era phrase) BUT he was not fired!!—WHY?? –Because Ross could not get another coach perceived as better than Philbin TO TAKE THE JOB. THIS TIME, however, there’ll be several good coaches who’ll want this job b/c of all the young talent on this team. –SO I AGREE — another non-playoff season should produce a head coaching CHANGE!
I think the injuries had a lot to do with keeping him, we were pretty good at midseason. Everyone on here was talking about us taking down the cheats.
YEs, BUT that was barring another December melt-down. It was obvious Miami lacked the quality depth that other teams seemed to have.
I would agree, we have to take the next step this year. I think Joe would be the first to say that. He’s in this to win, not wallow around at .500.
On another point: AM I the only one here who wants Ross to fire his notorious “advisor” (90+ year old Metamucil Carl Peterson) with 80+ year old “Whipper-snapper” Bill Polian?? Bill Polian is STILL one of the brightest guys out there. And he sure as hell has a much better resume than the Metamucil Man.
I haven’t heard a thing about Peterson in a long time. Mr. T is now that paid advisor.
NONE of us really knows how much Ross still listens to Peterson. HOWEVER, I’ve NOT read any articles suggesting Mr. Metamucil is off the payroll. Replacing him with Polian would certainly be a step forward. And there’s no limit on how many paid advisors an owner may have.
Carl Peterson will be an afterthought when we start winning.
A cynic might say “Peterson will be DEAD before we start winning.”
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/myers-roger-goodell-suspend-tom-brady-deflategate-article-1.2215881
Not a question of if but how many games.
2-8
ALL THOSE IN FAVOR OF 16 games say “AYE!”
I’ve been saying 16, anything less in uncivilized.
This is why I think the suspension will be longer, and maybe close to a yr.
“Brady’s refusal to provide us with his own emails, text messages and phone records on relevant topics, in response to our narrowly tailored requests, limited the evidence available for our review and analysis,” the report said.
He’s hiding something, when you don’t take a dui test you get arrested as if you did and it was positive. I think they handle it the same way, if not the NFL will have a difficult time in the future dealing with any type of suspension.

Jordan Phillips_BTP @bigj9797
Today was a lot of fun it was nice being back in football and even better being part of the dolphins #PhinsUp #StrongerTogether
I’m glad Casey Rogers is gone, I hated the way he handled the Dline. We need guys playing more to their strengths. Phillips needs to play on all 1st downs, that’s his biggest asset, then once he gets more acclimated let him play some passing downs, just don’t over play him.
Brady is an arrogant fuck, I think that will play into the suspension, because his arrogance is what caused him to think he’s above the league and didn’t have to submit phone records and emails.
WOW, Phillips is smacking Brandon Fields around like a tackle dummy….SMH
I hope he plays with a chip.
OD, I don’t think Peterson was on the payroll. He was involved with Ross with some other business venture and is a friend.
Ross secretly gets his football decisions from Cam Cameron, Bill Parcells, Tony Sparano, & Jeffro Ireland 😉
Steve, I saw you mention the other day the same thing as you just mentioned above.
Not trying to be an ass, but I’d think Phillips is better suited for the passing downs early on. Take advantage of his quick feet & 6’6 wing span.
Let Mitchell play the early run downs.
I see him as a run stuffer when y uses no effort and a pass rusher, if he decides to put forth effort. In other words he can be as good as he wants to be, but we have to be careful with him and not let him get complacent. I’d have no problem with him being in on 3rd down and long, but he’d have to prove the effort first. He’s a freak, get him in shape and he’ll be a superfreak 😉
Tim, this is the male dancing trio that you should save & be posting…ya know, raise your standards a lil. 😉
He seems really grateful for this opportunity.
Tim told ya that?
My guess is Brady gets 2 games
I vote for 106 games
Rock On!
48 games. Let’s see if his ass can come back then! I’m already waiting for the time when Belicheat has no more use for him.
lol at you guys still thinking tommy baby will get suspended.
besides didnt you all see that hatemar said the fins had grabnblow and they will be just fine
He’s got to get something Rob- my guess is a game or two. Goodell is trying to clean up the image of the league; he won’t go unpunished.
Douglas is an impressive guy.
He seems appreciative of the opportunity given to him. Let’s hope we get a starting LG with that appreciation.
He’s the one draftee that I really hope pans out for us in 2015. Even more so than parker.
I am so rooting for Ray Jr., good kid.
brian,
like OD says, show me. i dont think he will get anything. the report didnt come out and say he did, goodell will hide behind that. besides if he cheated he shouldnt be suspended he should be kicked out of the league. drugs are one thing, domestic violence is also but cheating hurts the integrity of the league. goodell wont suspend him cause no suspense is fair for a cheater, expulsion is the only thing to do to a cheater.
We’ll see Rob. I doubt he gets anywhere close to the 6-8 games rumored, but I do think he gets 1-2. Let’s hope that I’m right.
I hope you’re wrong and he get s 6-8 games 🙂
I really hope these guys tank next year. I’ve always liked romo but jones sucks.
“”I’d be reluctant to, but certainly if the right situation came along that could improve us now, with where we are with (35-year-old quarterback) Tony Romo, his career and where we are with what we’ve put together, it’s a good time to go for it,” Jones said, per Fox Sports Southwest.”
wow, you just have to love baseball and this every moving strike zone. it is like you dont even have to put the ball over the plate anymore. if every other sport had those rules it would be great. basketball would be like…..aaaaaahhhh, that shot hit the rim, close enough that is two points.
brian,
nope, they open up on a thur night on national tv. no way he is suspended for that game and the nfl’s poster boy has to be suspended for cheating.
Tim, here’s the overview on Jamil Douglas
Highly versatile and athletic with experience at all four offensive line positions outside the center. Entered 2014 with 27 consecutive starts, primarily at left guard, and started 13 games at left tackle for the Sun Devils to be named All-Pac-12 first team.
A natural athlete with good feet he fits best inside because of his height, weight and reach.
They pass a lot in the Pac 12, so he can’t be too bad.
I hear ya. I don’t see him as a tackle other than in a pinch. He’s never really played the right side but I don’t view it as that big of a deal anyway. Turner played LT in college and he’s viewed as a RG.
And Phillips manhandled him today in 1 on 1 drills.
Good!
As I could see Phillips doing to all of our Oline, when he puts out the effort.
can you imagine soccer, and i am a huge soccer fan, but soccer with baseball rules. hey, that was an hell of a shot. i mean who cares it was 4 feet over the crossbar, it was a great volley, that is a goal.
That’s pretty funny Rob, and if you think the balls/strikes calls are bad in MLB… Have you watched college baseball? I really can’t believe they won’t go with technology that calls balls/strikes. That just goes to show you they want to control the games, and don’t care if they get the calls correct.
It’s the purists in every sport that keep it from growing and evolving.

I really like Trippin, Imagine 2 Zach Thomas types in our LB corp…woot woot!
Not enough lotion in the CVA for that!
Slow down there, brother! LOL
I wonder how bad his injury is? I’d sign him, stash him, and dump Rishard Matthews.
Austin Hill is 6’3 212.
Updating a previous item, the Seahawks did not sign UDFA WR Austin Hill after he failed his physical.
Hill went undrafted in large part due to college medical concerns, and clearly still isn’t healthy. It’s unfortunate after Hill flashed big-time promise during his time at the University of Arizona, particularly as a sophomore (81-1,364-11).
SUCKS
I liked him before the injury!!!!!!!! 😦
And After!!!!
steve
not that other sports dont have rules they bend too, like traveling in basketball or holding in football, but this is the bread and butter of baseball. the strike zone. if you want expand the rules of the strike zone, i am ok with that, but you cant let an ump just make up his own strike zone. that just leads to hurting the integrity of the game

So does anyone think Peterson will be traded to dallas for the 2016 1st round pick. i mean jones wouldn’t rule it out to win it all this year LOL. I can’t wait till it blows up.
I think maybe the size and dreads made me think Ajayi reminds me of Marshawn Lynch. But he actually runs a lot like Knowshon Moreno. Very calculated in his runs but it’s not about speed. It’s about vision, instincts and toughness. I saw reports he lacks instincts. I don’t get that at all from what I’ve seen and read about him. He’s a natural football player.
They’ve got to put something in for weaknesses, so some nitwit just picks something that has some grey to it.
Good stuff!

All of our rookies seem really articulate. Parker comes off as pretty shy but the rest seem pretty confidant in front of the reporters. That Ray Jr kid is awesome I really hope he makes the team.
They’re all Philbin guys, the chemistry is better right now than maybe it’s ever been.
I’m very happy to hear the early positives about Phillips. His talent was never my issue, it was taking him early with back problems. Since we were able to get him in the late 2nd, the risk wasn’t so bad. Besides, you’ll never hear me complain about drafting OL and DL. With that said, welcome Jordan Phillips and Jamil Douglas to the Phins.
Right On rgs. I agree.
Good morning!I feel like yesterday was a wasted day (other than the fact that we have our son back!). Sat in traffic driving to CT for 3 1/2 hours, and it was more of the same on the way home. 7 hours in the car. I’m still deciding whether he’s worth that effort. lol
Welcome to Connecticut.
Sounds like our rookies are looking good! That’s great!

LMFAO
Who is Tom Brady? Are you referring to the Assman?
Well said.. I agree..
Ahh, I see you liked the thoughts of Jeff Ireland I was expressing. 😉
He looks sooo more natural than Mike Wallace!
He looks like a first round pick. I don’t need to see any more of Parker, he’ll be starting on the outside game one. If not the reason will be something like, well we didn’t want to rush him into action.
Getter, after watching Parker, I don’t think your comment is a knock on Wallace, like I did before I watched this clip.
The catch with 9 seconds left is all I needed to see to get what they’ve been talking about…His catch radius is wide and impressive.
No Steve, not really knocking Wallace, he gave us 15 TD’s in 2 seasons, but relies more on just pure speed, looks stiffer, not as fluid as Parker. I’m excited to see how he and Tanny work together.
They’ll work well together, RT just needs to throw it up.
That’s Awesome !!!!
That’s great, I saw it earlier this morning, but didn’t play the video until just now.
I saw that too, what if F I F?
What is F I F?
I looked it up, he pleads the fifth.
It shocks me how sympathetic sports radio hosts are to Tom Brady. They just can’t wrap their heads around the fact that it doesn’t matter whether they personally think the air pressure of the ball makes any difference whatsover, it’s the facvt that he broke the rules, refuses to cooperate with the investigation by giving up his cell phone. It drives me crazy!
All I keep hearing is how little 1 PSI makes, and it shouldn’t tarnish his legacy and and also, the wording that the NFL uses, “He probably was aware”. I don’t really get why they use that jargon, but it doesn’t make him any less guilty of the crime.
He probably was aware, that’s NFL jargon. To the NFL it’s all they need to say he did it, since it’s not a court of law it just has to be proven within reasonable doubt. Bottom line is it means he did it.
Mike, the Damian Woody post/quotes, spoke volumes on Tom Lady!
Parker on the field is going to allow Stills to eat, a lot.

Ditto
Amen Don, WTG. You make us die hard fans so PROUD! Go Phins!
That’s awesome. He’s giving a lot of these guys a story to tell down the road.
“Very QB friendly. Bad balls get caught.”
Even if most of the competition won’t end up playing the NFL, Parker sounds like the real deal. Hartline was Tanny’s go-to guy his first year for his ability to adjust to bad balls and make the tough catches. Parker’s got that plus a bunch of other high-end tools in his box.
Condor wings. 😉
Can you see Parker getting doubled a lot? And still making the catch? RT shouldn’t go to the well too often when in double+ coverage, but if single covered, he’s open throw it up.
Steve – Agreed, and when he’s doubled it’s gonna be tough to cover Still, Landry, & Cameron, or Ajayi out of the backfield.
I can’t wait to see Parker in our first preseason game.
One of Parker’s weaknesses is lack of top end speed, but I don’t see it on tape as a weakness. This goes back to what I’ve said in the past that the 40 time isn’t the end all. Taller guys take longer to get out of the chute, so a taller guy that runs a 4.5 40 may have the same top end speed as a shorter 4.3 guy. I wonder if saying he lacks top end speed comes from looking at his 40 time.
He ran a 4.45, so that’s no tortuga. I’m thinking they mean he doesn’t have that extra gear when running full speed, as Wallace does. No matter, Tannehill and Wallace couldn’t make that work anyway. This may be a better combination chemistry wise for the deep ball.
Top end speed isn’t just running routes, it’s also when the ball is in your hands after the catch. Wallace has never had any issues with top end speed, starting speed, play speed… Bottom line is Wallace is a great track athlete, that’s his best trait on the football field.
Anyone remember the game in 2013 where RT threw a hail mary that hit Wallace in the hands at the goal line that he dropped that would’ve won the game? Parker makes that catch.
My point was Wallace does have that extra gear.
I got that part, I was referring to your next statement.
“This may be a better combination chemistry wise for the deep ball” We at least know that what Wallace offered deep didn’t match up with Tanny’s deep ball well. Wallace was great at getting open but not at adjusting to the ball. Now we have a taller WR who can adjust. Even if he doesn’t get open as much deep……..

#Dolphins fourth-round G Jamil Douglas did a good job blocking second-round DT Jordan Phillips in one-on-one drills.
————————————
We need to be careful how we evaluate Douglas based on how he does head to head with Phillips, considering Phillips has a bad rap to not go all out on every play. I haven’t heard any issues yet with Phillips in this camp, I just won’t get too excited when I here what Douglas is doing against him.
With that said it’s still a good sign. Douglas is a natural in a ZBS.
It’s hard to say until you have a baseline of going against a player you are familiar with. Is Phillips going against Douglas a show down btwn a King and a Jack or a six and a seven? We’ll find out a lot more come camp when they are matched up against people like Suh and Pouncey.
