It’s obvious that the focus of this offseason has been the offense. We traded for one of the most dynamic wide receivers in the NFL in Tyreek Hill. We brought in hands down the best LT available in free agency in Terron Armstead. We signed free agent RB’s Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert, as well as tendering Salvon Ahmed. We signed FA WR Cedrick Wilson formerly of the Dallas Cowboys. The huge contracts and majority of trades and signings happened on the offensive side of the ball, but we very quietly brought back our entire starting 11 on defense, as well as most of the depth players behind them. You can ask “Was our defense that great last year that we stand pat?” Yes, and no would be my answer. I think we have a great mix of young and veteran players, and most of our veteran players are still young.
Our RDE Christian Wilkins had an elite year, and there’s no reason to think he won’t either play as well or better this season. We have some young players that just started to show how good they can be such as SLB/DE Jaelan Phillips and safeties Jevon Holland and Brandon Jones. Raekwon Davis came off an early injury and wasn’t 100% last year and I expect bigger things from our young NT. Our veteran CB duo is still among the best CB tandems in the NFL if not the best. While X is the big playmaker, whether it’s an INT, a forced fumble or fumble recovery, he’s always around the football making plays. Byron Jones is a very underated cover corner. A lot of teams just avoid X and throw at Jones, and Jones is a top 10 rated CB on PFF, if you care about such things. Jones isn’t a WR playing CB, he’s a CB who just blankets his guy. Zero INT’s, but he rarely gets beat bad. Our two young safeties Holland and Jones looked better as the season went on and Eric Rowe is also a fine player. Jerome Baker is another underrated player, he plays every down and and does it all, from making the routine tackles to blitzing, to covering RB’s and TE’s, #55 is there. CB Nik Needham is one of my favorites and just a guy who steps in and gets it done. AVG hasn’t really busted out, and he may never do it, but he’s a guy that gets a lot of pressure, in fact he had the second most QB hits on the defense with 20 behind Emmanuel Ogbah, who we re-signed to a big contract. He’s worth every penny.
One thing that is easy to skip past is that the huge investment in the offense will help the defense. If we can keep the chains moving and score more than we did last year, which I believe is nearly certain, then the defense will be on the field less, and won’t be forced to carry the team as often as it did. If we can jump on some teams and take some leads for a change, that puts the pressure on the opposing offense and makes them more one dimensional, and will play right into our strength, better pass rush and lockdown, playmaking secondary. We were 22nd in points scored and 16th in points allowed. Say we go up to midpack or better in scoring points, to 16th or better, I’m almost going to guarantee you that our points allowed will drop into the top 10.
This team should be a lot of fun to watch. The speed on the offense with Mostert, Hill, Waddle and Gesicki is going to be fun. All of a sudden, that left side of the line with Armstead and Williams will be plowing spaces for the run game, the screen game, and add in FB Alec Ingold, you just have to expect a better result running the football. We brought back blocking TE Durham Smythe, Michael Deiter is our C, and our best OL from last season, RG Robert Hunt should stay right there. There should be a fierce battle for the RT spot, between Austin Jackson, Liam Eichenberg, Larnell Coleman and Robert Jones, and potentially another player who is not yet on the roster, either a draftee or post June cut. I understand we have a new system but I feel we’re in good hands with Mike McDaniel. I don’t expect him to struggle implementing his system. The players like him, listen to him. he r-e-l-a-t-e-s to them. They get him. He’s charismatic. Our team will be all in, and we will be much better on offense, we have so much more talent. Talent wins. So while the offense will be much better, don’t overlook the Dolphins defense!

GO DOLPHINS!!!

Thanks for the Luau clips. I would have loved to been there. Done many Luau’s and they are always entertaining. We do one every year on the beach at our Chief’s club on NAS Pensacola. Pig cooked the traditional way in the ground. You can’t even get that at Luau’s in Hawaii anymore (cooked in the ground) due to “health concerns”. BS, I say.
Page turn!
On paper this is the best team Miami have put together since the Marino era!
I’m Stoked!!!!
Hope all is well with the “MOB”
Agreed Markey! You have every reason to be excited. GO DOLPHINS!!!
Great post Mike E, I always enjoy reading you guys articles they are well written!!
https://www.neworleanssaints.com/news/new-orleans-saints-punter-thomas-morstead-middle-school-rules-book-series
Coach McDaniel stole the show at the Luau.
The players and fans and media are sure to love this guy.
I hope.
I think they love him already. The big test will be if we lose a game or two or more, and how the team responds to that. All is good until it’s not. I kinda hope we just don’t lose!
I think they are used to not starting out good. If so, I think they work through it and respond well. I will prepare myself for the growing pains on offense until they are clicking on all cylinders.
The worst part will be for us fans to get through all the media Tua hate if it does happen.
Hoping we start strong and punch the Florio’s in the face!
BBM – No question, the fans, media will crucify Tua for anything and everything they can
Time to stop the Tua bashing and realize he never really had the things in place until now to succeed, I think he will do just fine. I consider him a mix between Drew Breese and Russel Wilson even though he is taller than both!
Good to see you back posting. You were missed and you always gave good input.
TY
🙂
The bullshit doesn’t stop
The Only way I think that happens if Miami is making a last second push to get Ross a SB ring before he sells the team…
Oh and Toba is a Canadian so we can’t trust anything he posts just like Rock.oh Shit I forgot that OD was from Canada 😆
Two of my friends just died this past week, both of heart attacks.
Makes me even more glad to hear of Stanger’s recuperation.
I know I am “of a certain age,” but two in one week is a bit much.
One was a tennis buddy who in fact played Friday morning and died as soon as he got home.
The other was a guy I did some computer work for, very smart and successful guy, whose wife is very close with mine. I was worried about him because he weighed about 350 and had his own oxygen tank.
RIP my friends RIP.
Ken
“it does not take a rocket scientist to know that Brady and Sean are going to be in Miami next year.”
The ‘rocket science’ part of this comment makes me feel like I have missed some event or quote or something that makes this writer think that what he says will happen is so obvious and certain.
It seems to me like a wild and far-fetched, unsupported “what if” with no logic or basis in fact.
LOL
btw
That punter seems like a really great guy, one more stand-up kinduva man like you’d really want in your locker room and repping your brand.
I really like this angle of our roster-building efforts.
The guys all seem to love football, unlike some punters who prefer trying to become mini-celebrittes or are intolerably eccentric, and none of the new guys seem to be divas, which some punters are.
Wish I could say he was making a joke, but think he actually believes it.
Wow, he’s a trip! I do think the Democratic Party would do anything to stop his movement though, so he’s honestly correct about that.
The sad fact is that Trump actually believes that
I believe that’s what they call a “pathological liar”. lol
Least he didn’t slip up and say what he really thinks…. “that my Dad ever created.”
And narcissist of course, but that goes without saying
Naples – Damn pal, that’s a bad week. Best wishes to your friends families. Very sobering when it hits so close like that.
Markey – Thanks man, appreciate that!
Sorry for the loss of your friends Naples
Naples — so sad about your friends. Those heart attacks just hit you out of the blue most times. I was lucky enough that passed out before the worst came. So was in the ER when flat-lined for those 14 minutes.
Again, I feel so lucky and happy that you were strong enough to withstand that episode.
It’s going to be great to see you enjoy our awesome upcoming season.
Go Dolphins.
Hey Everyone, thanks for your thoughts, but I didn’t mean to bring sadness here.
I didn’t really think of what I was doing, just reading the blog when I got the news of the second one,
and …
So, sorry to have gone public like that, but to shoot the shit with a guy at Happy Hour one night and find out he’s gone the next day before lunch is a jolt. I mean, we had our share of good times, so I guess that’s just the “Shit happens” side of life.
C’est la vie.
Don’t worry about it. This is a good place to vent .
Thank you, sir.
We’re all friends here… no better place.
Tua gets flustered…. and it ain’t by a blitzing LB.
That’s amazing
That is awesome!
Stanger, you only post political stuff about people on the right. I think there is some merit to what M13 has said in the past.
Yep
I’ve bashed AOC and BLM on occasion as well, but have been quite open about my dislike of Trump and people like MTG. So not sure exactly what M13 said the particular time you are talking about, but you don’t hear me saying Biden is the best Pres ever either.
Like a lot of people I’m in the middle, albeit vote mostly GOP. Gave to Susan Collins’ campaign last time around if that helps.
Like a lot of people I’m in the middle, albeit vote mostly GOP.
———————-
That’s me. I actually changed my voter registration last year to independent. Wife also.
If you compare Trump to Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, AOC, Schiff, Waters, Omar, Nadler, etc., etc., etc., etc………., Trump is one of the cleanest and honest POLITICIANS.
Though, as far as “God created”, he’s full of shit. He’s the biggest exaggerator God ever created that’s for sure.
I didn’t list any on the right who could go on that list above but there are plenty of them also.
That’s where we disagree. I’ve never seen any prominent elected official lie as much as Trump did. For instance he literally said 3-5 million illegals voted in the 2016 election and set up a Presidential Commission to investigate which closed down quietly cause couldn’t find more than a handful.
I know, but is it a lie or is it just one of his many blatant exaggerations? I guess I just answered my own question within my question. lol
I understand. Maybe you are just so solid right that when someone on the right says or does something stupid it disappoints you to the point you have to call it out. It disappoints me as well.
“Solid right” is a confusing term these days, just like conservative. Used to consider myself that but then came Trump…. who if has any ideology I deem it populist. He sure ain’t the 2nd coming of Reagan.
I really hope he does not win the nomination or I may just have to crawl under a rock
My dislike for him aside, if Trump does run in 2024 the GOP will be giving points to the Dems.
Well, there ya go, Europe setting the example for the NFL.
Rams Ex Michael Sam – NFL’s 1st Openly Gay Active Player – Hired as Coach

Couldn’t agree more – If Trump wins the GOP nomination they have effectively just elected another Democratic President.
Im not going to get pulled into a political discussion so I won’t say anything substantive about any particular politician or point of view
But Im pretty sure the reason stanger posts clips bashing people on the right so often is not to appeal to people like me, but bc he’s so concerned about the direction of republicans bc it’s always been his party.
The notion that some one cant demonstrate reflection of his own party or he is cahoots with the opposition party is absurd and pretty consistent with tolatarian views and not a representative or diverse society
it might get under your skin but I know plenty of republicans that share the same views as him
More importantly the idea that he has to spread it out between the left and the right To reach some sort of utopian moderate view of reason is also absurd
He doesn’t have to pick a fight a me, bc he upsets you…..lol
The country is not designed for everyone to agree on everything, it’s a big country and it’s meant to function in the face of disagreement. It doesn’t matter if you are far left or far right, maybe your ideas are just what the country needs. Some one doesn’t have to prove they are reasonable by posting stuff about both sides
And to be frank, usually when you hate everyone, it’s closer to giving up than a sincere political belief, there’s enough contrarians out there that love to mock everyone and don’t offer any solutions. We don’t need anymore of those.
There’s not a sweet spot somewhere where everyone agrees on everything and suddenly the country operates better than ever. Sometimes extreme views are better for the Country. Sometimes they line up with more Americans than moderate views. Sometimes they don’t.
But if you have a vision for what you think is right for the country or what you think is right for a particular party, I don’t think you should made to feel compelled to spread it out.
Just my 2 snorts
Good post. I hate politics for the most part because it’s rarely about the good of the country and mostly partisan views and insults. Not concerned about the 2024 election right now, we have a 2022 football season to kick ass on the way. 🙂
You get me Pig. In the past the GOP just lost elections. Now the GOP is losing the GOP.
Well good thing you didn’t get pulled into that. Oh shit, that would make you pulled pork 😆
Lol
Gonna pop open a bottle of red wine now and braise some BEEF short ribs
Maybe drink a little too 🍷
BEEF ribs are the way of the future
Sorry to hear about your friends, Naples. It’s tough as we get older this sort of thing becomes more common. We all need to enjoy this life as long as we can.
They were enjoying it right up to the end,
and they had had great life, so that’s all you can go for.
I have to share this with you all. This little kicks ass on https://youtu.be/PmNyNJFCugo
That was great. I’ve been seeing a lot of videos of young kids playing all kinds of different instruments at a high level. Rock on young ones!!!
“Everybody’s happy and I feel like a lot of things can be special here with Mike McDaniel. He’s bringing that energy and hopefully [he] can get the offense up to par to the standard that we expect from both sides of the ball, everybody can get the job done here.”
– Xavien 🐬
So I look up Dolphins news and it’s filled with Tom Brady and Sean Payton almost happened and next year is still in the cards. Can this team ever get away from constant rumors and nonsense?
I’ve never seen the media go after a pro sports team as they do our modern Dolphins. But then again, I’ve never seen an owner make so many gaffes as Steve Ross.
I don’t believe it’s anti-semitic in nature, rather the clown media clowning a clown. I used to get into it with many media members a decade ago: Mike Florio (yeah, I’m the OG who told y’all about his clown-ass in 2012), Evan Silva (FKA: “Silly Boy”), Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherder, and many others (some of whom are so-called Phins fans) who I don’t even recall at this point.
Winning cures all. As a dedicated Phins fan (I think ALL of us are!), I hope Steve Ross goes out on top… restoring glory to this once-proud franchise.
I knew you’d reply to this and a certain someone’s name would come up. LOL
I get Ross can be a bit of a goofball at times but players see who he hires and the upgrades he’s done to the stadium and facility, and not only do they re-sign, but players and coaches from other organizations come here.
I get that money and opportunity is a big deal. But who has said “I’m out of here?”
Ross is almost 82 years of age and doesn’t have time to play PR with all the media nonsense. The friggin reporters need to knock it off.
Yeah, man. Seriously, Steve Ross is paying out of his own pocket these massive signing bonuses to keep us under the cap and very competitive.
He may have been a total failure for years, but I see him going ALL-IN to bring us a Lombardi trophy before he sells. For that, I give him a tip of the hat.
M13, when was the last real good team we’ve had, that we could compete for a title, early 90’s?
We make it seem like since Ross bought the team we’ve gone down hill. Not true! It already started in 2004.
Regarding politics posted here: I’ve truly gone out of my way to steer clear from it for several years now. I no longer post political rhetoric, yet on occasion, I still do REPLY to political rhetoric.
After Stanger had his life hanging in the balance recently, I made MYSELF a promise: no more engaging him regarding politics. I honestly felt that I may have played a part in his condition. Leading up to it, Stanger became very upset with me… and I felt guilty after we all read of what had occurred.
I can’t change hearts and minds on this blog, so I’m done trying. That doesn’t mean we can’t all have a good philosophical debate on politics (alluding to what Pigster posted earlier today), but I’m going to do my best to keep things football.
However, if and when blatant absurdity is posted, don’t get into your feelings after what ya said warrants a strong reply… and we all know such posts that seem to bring/seek attention. And I think everybody would agree with this sentiment.

Honestly, in the early 2000s. If we had a better QB than Jay Fiedler, we could have been perennial AFC champs, IMO.
Yes, I agree that our downhill tumble started well before Steve Ross took over… but he certainly didn’t help… until NOW.

This one wasn’t bad a year later, either…
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_Miami_Dolphins_season#Roster
THIS was the one that looked great on paper (but with a paper-thin O-Line), so as for Peter King to anoint us Super Bowl contenders.
If only we had a crystal ball to sign the QB with the bum/damaged passing arm (Brees), as opposed to the QB with a cannon and better accuracy, yet a damaged knee (C-Pep). I love you hindsight MFz!

Can we just let a team go for it without nonsense?
“The lawyers in the civil cases involving Deshaun Watson have reportedly reached an agreement that no trials will be held from August 1, 2022 through March 1, 2023.”
“That means, essentially, that no cases will be held during the 2022 NFL season.”
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/lawyers-reach-agreement-in-deshaun-watson-cases-nfl-world-reacts/ar-AAW4xkQ?li=BBnb7Kz
——————————————-
Would the accusers agree to this if they had a strong case? Wouldn’t they want to get to it?
Or can they be lawyerly maneuvered into this by the system even if they’d rather get it done sooner?
Or something else?
It’s not up to the lawyers it’s up to the court to schedule
Can the court be strong armed by a huge multi billion dollar company like the NFL to make their schedule full for this year?
There is some sort of agreement between the parties
The article doesn’t say much
But they agreement was entered into in March of this year so they agree to put a trial out until a year from now at the earliest
I don’t really think that timeline is anything to raise an eyebrow
I don’t think it gives us insight into the merits
Ken says it’s up to the court, Pig and the article say there’s an agreement between the parties
Which is it?
Also the article says they
Tony Buzbee, who represents the 22 plaintiffs, told the Plain Dealer that he hopes to get a trial set for July.
That would be a banana sandwich
Post your own recipe’s! 😉
What would be the asking price for Debo Samuel?
We don’t need him, his specialty was taking a handoff or quick pass and breaking tackles at key times in the game, and getting the 1st down
Cheetah does the same, except he alludes, instead of breaks, tackles
Waddle and Wilson could also see touches in those instances
Could’ve just said, we have the legion of zoom
👍👍
Most years, this would just be hype, but this year … It’s real !!!!!!!

———————
The scheduling of a trial is always up to the court. The attorneys may request a certain time frame but the court is not bound by that request and the scheduling is up to the court’s discretion
Thanks, your honor
Yes, agree. My answer doesn’t really deviate from Ken’s
But the article does say the parties came to an agreement. The parties may have discussed the scheduling with the court and then reduced that discussion to an agreement
But courts always maintain their own calendars
If parties submit dates for a trial, that can’t be over the courts objection
Either the article is just wrong about there being an agreement or they did the agreement in conjunction with the court or with approval Of court concerning dates.
Some stuff about scheduling is going to vary dramatically from court to court and judge yo judge. Each judge has their own court rules people have to familiarize themselves with, I doubt the article did research into those sort of nuances – and if they did they are going to bore their readers to death
There are a lot of holes in the article. I also can’t explain Buzzbee’s comment about July if he agreed not to go to trial until March 2023 either – it’s kind of a collection of random facts that has me guessing when I read the article
The most important thing is I don’t really think that scheduling is an indicator of the merits of the case.
It might be something as simple as a court telling them they don’t have trial dates until 3/1 or an expectation that discovery won’t be complete until then
My suggestion is not to read to much into it
I can’t watch anyone doing a haka without laughing my butt off. I know it’s supposed to be this highly regarded cultural tradition, but it makes me crack up every time.
reminds me of karate forms
reminds me of exercises to help with constipation
New Zealand Rugby ( the best in the world) do the haka before every game. These are some incredibly tough dudes.
lol. how can anyone sit there with a straight face.
Guess the other teams laugh and then get their buts handed to them. Might make the loss easier. 🙂
Pretty poor taste that SB7, imho, – to disrespect one of the core cultural tenets of the Mauri culture. I respect your honesty, but how would you feel if a Mauri sat there pissing himself laughing at the singing of the stars and stripes and the flyover before a football game?
I’ve watched a lot before England v All Black rugby games and every single one is unique, intense and really lights the fuse for the game to start. Each to their own I guess.
Well said UK
A ton of gay men have said no to Zach Wilson

🤣
Checking our roster
Needs as of now, IMHO
1) a backup Center (our biggest need since we literally have no one else who can play Center)
(or a Center so good that he becomes the starter and Dieter his backup, although in that case, the OL coach might move Dieter to RG and Hunt back to RT)
2) a young backup to Ogbah (a real 265 lb+ DE, not just another OLB) (Scarlett? Hall???)
3) a smashmouth RB such as a Zamir White as a change of pace to all the scatbacks we have (Doaks?)
4) a boundary CB trustable as a playable backup in case a starter goes down for an extended period (Crossen?)
5) a 4.4 40 WR6 (FO might think we do not need this and use a change of pace like PWilliams)
6) a dependable part time KR / PR (when we don’t need another quick TD from Hill)
7) a steady and trainable scout team QB (unless Toba trusts Streveler)
… …
That’s a beautiful roster, if that is our worst set of needs.
Biggest needs are starting RT and starting OC. Guys are on the roster are really not starting quality and I don’t want to move Hunt who I think is turning into a stud at RG
Dieter only allowed 1 sack last year and 3 penalties, in his first year as an NFL Center, so I am hoping he’ll continue to improve.

Two Russian precision missiles hit a train station filled with people looking to flee the Eastern Ukraine today. So no doubt the station was the target.
At least 30 people were killed and over 100 were injured. Part of one missile was recovered intact (below). In case your Russian is rusty, “For the Children” is scrawled on it. Bastards.

Just listened to the early evening news Stanger – 25 cases of women aged 14-40 raped in the basement of one house.
A father shot, a mother raped multiple times because the drunken “soldiers” (I use the term loosely) threatened to kill the child. They then set the house on fire and left laughing.
16 y.o. girl raped in the street in front of her sister.
Man shot and his wife raped before 4 other soldiers came and took him away. She buried her husband in her back yard.
The scale of looting is unimaginable and the level of rape is only just starting to be understood, with many too traumatised to leave home, let alone report anything. Police gathering evidence to prosecute war crimes fwiw.
Worse than bastards in my view – fucking feral animals that deserve on the spot execution. God I wish NATO would join in now and squash this tyrant underfoot. I know it can’t and I know why, but……..
Legia Warsaw fans have the right idea! Make it happen.
They for sure don’t play by normal rules. Not so different than in WW2 (ask German women). Don’t get exactly why Russian soldiers have the beast in them.

Well they aren’t comparable because one is cool and the other is goofy, but if there was someone who was pissing themselves laughing at it, I wouldn’t care. I’m also not in to head-patting things in the name of culture. There’s a lot of Irish and Scottish traditions (my heritage) that I find goofy and would have no problem with people laughing at them because a lot of people do. The difference is that no one goes into faux outrage mode when people ridicule the culture and history of fair skinned people.
At least Boris Johnson is stepping things up with Ukraine since the supposed leader of the free word is not.
A leader who can’t even control his own border with 8000 coming in a day where 25% aren’t even caught or processed. The numbers are expected to double.
NBC News:
“The number of unaccompanied children crossing the border in March reached more than 18,500, according to preliminary Customs and Border Protection data obtained by NBC News, smashing the previous record as the Biden administration scrambles to set up new shelters to accommodate them.”
“Overall encounters with migrants of all ages were at a 20-year high in March, as over 170,000 attempted to cross, according to the preliminary data.”
That 170K does not include the 25% that got away.
I sense a lot of tension here today…
Stress in the force!
LOL
In the Force, we should trust! 😀
BBMike,
What do you think… do we add a power back in this year’s Draft?
Running back room is a little crowded with the FB’s.
I hear that. But seems Doaks is our only true power RB.
Zamir White please
He would be a good choice, IMO.
I’m rather fond of Tyler Allgeier out of BYU.
I think it would be nice. Someone who is big who could possibly crack the top 4 RB but I just hate to use 102 or 125. I actually like Kevin Harris from South Carolina in the 7th or UDFA. He’s 5’10 221.
Yeah, man… no way would I use either pick 102 or 125 to address our RB room: totally agreed.
I recently watched this Netflix show with my youngest daughter and wife called ‘Never Have I Ever…’. It’s a teeny kind of easy watching show that is surprisingly funny. It’s been a long time since I watched something that makes me laugh throughout the whole thing as consistently as this show does.
It’s about a teenage Indian-American girl who’s dad dies of a heart attack during one of her school recitals and about her family trying to put the pieces back together (I know, the stuff of comedy gold, lol), and John McEnroe narrates her life- (that in itself brings a ton of laughter as he constantly compares the stuff she is going through to his own experiences on the tennis court..)
Anyway, I was just thinking about one of many hilarious scenes. One of the teenage gals (Eleanor) has a mother who is an aspiring actress. There is a quick cutscene showing Eleanor as a younger child and her mother who is walking out the door says “Oh sweetie, what kind of mother would I be if I didn’t teach you to follow your dreams…which is why I’m leaving to follow my dreams.” Door slam. LMAO
I’m not sure why I told this story other than thinking about it just now made me laugh and I wanted to share…
There is gorgeous cousin Kamala who is a molecular biologist and has an American boyfriend while the family is also trying to arrange a marriage for her with some guy in India she’s never met.
Devi (the main gal) tells her cousin “wow, you’re in a legit love triangle!” Kamala says “it’s not a triangle, it’s more of a line and a dot if you’re really going to graph it…” 🤣🤣
That shyte had me on the floor
If we could get just one more guy through the draft who would actually get quality minutes and make a contribution, that would be great.
I think our picks are too low to get a starter at C or RT. (without a trade-up)
But a crusherback like Zamir could fall to us at 102. It is still the 3rd round, after all.
And that type of back could come in for the 4th quarter after the speed guys get us a big lead and just punish a fatigued D while resting our smallish RBs and keeping the passrushers off Tua and the LBs away from Hill, Mostert, and Waddle when they might hit them late or dirty out of spite.
… …
and eat up the clock with ball control
He’d be a great selection, but with a new sheriff in town who is an expert in O-Line play, I’m not sure I’d look at 102 to add a RB.
Last year, for sure! This year? Not so much. However, Zamir wouldn’t be a bad selection.
I agree. I think White is underrated but don’t really want a RB at 102 or even 125. If it does happed with White, I wouldn’t be mad. lol
I doubt he lasts to 225, but I can hope!
I like him as well. Him and Kevin Harris are a lot alike. I think Allgeier is going to go earlier in 4th or 5th. I really liked Chris Rodriguez but he is returning to Kentucky for another year.
I wouldn’t be upset if we traded one of our two 3rd rounders in 2023 to draft Allgeier this year.
And maybe it doesn’t even need to be one of our two 3rd rounders in 2023… maybe a 4th rounder.
This was my first time watching this video. I was thinking, ‘man, this guy reminds me of Le’Veon Bell’. Sure enough, at the 12:32 mark, the announcer stated what I was thinking.
*This was the first time I’ve watched THIS PARTICULAR video.
I just started watching a funny cartoon on Netflix called “Big Mouth”. I find it hilarious. I laugh out loud no less then 3-4 times per episode (25 min episodes).
It is basically about pre-pubescent kids going through puberty with the help of “councilors” from the “Human Recourses Department” which is full of mythical creatures. Everyone has them, but you can only see and hear your own councilors and not other peoples.
They have the “love bugs” that try to make you act like we all do when in love. There are the “Hormone monsters” that try to talk you into doing hormonal instinct things. It is pretty funny.
Big Mouth is great. The hormone monsters are hilarious…and Pam the sex pillow is too much, lol.
Big Mouth is not safe for childhood consumption! Full of sex and vulgarity. (I love cartoons that cus, they just tickle me, LOL)
ME TOO!!
He’s got all pro written all over him.

Naples:,
7) a steady and trainable scout team QB (unless Toba trusts Streveler)
I was ready to trust Streveler as a back up before we signed Bridgewater.. if we can keep him on scout team sure.. unless-someone in CFL offers a job as a starter …
I thought Allgeier ran a 4.6 40.
Don’t judge him guys
Super normal activity here

Florida man never disappoints. 😂
Ohio man, you mean.
Humans are a kooky and funny species. LOL
But it’s never someone from Florida. Always a transplant from the NE. or Ohio. My theory is that the sun in Florida is too strong for them and cooks parts of their brains.
No never! LOL
Spoken like a native
It was in Florida. It was a man. Florida + Man. Florida Man. 🙄😂
Using that logic Herd, do you have any female friends😝
I think it’s so stupid to “bless” yourself on a football field and point your finger to the sky….one of the dumbest/cookiest thing I’ve ever seen….lmao.
What does that mean? Lol!
Actually, i think it’s a western Christian thing….makes zero sense to me…lol
I forgot the kiss…lmao!
God gave you good graces while the other team got the devil. LOL
I will agree that it may be a bit for show, but who are any of you to question a person’s intentions or beliefs? Why do you even care?
Bookman, don’t take it personally. I see it in baseball all the time. So the hitter was given God’s grace when he got a hit, but God was against the pitcher? Than do a vice versa. Now God was with the pitcher to get out of the inning and not the hitters. I don’t really care, it just seems silly to some of us. Play the game and end it. Kind of like this. 😉
…and that’s exactly 7 did and uk called out….so thought I’d rip one off that might hit closer to home….
I don’t believe cultures and beliefs should be laughed at personally, but to suggest one is ok and one is silly is tribal…just saying.
I was trying to make a point…and probably failed, at least with you.

I’m with ya, Brother!
Yeah we never do that here. LOL
It seems it’s only when it’s about the almighty God. Can I ask you all of faith, why does God always need to be defended and interpreted by humans when he/she is almighty?
If I was almighty I’d just tell you all what the fuck it’s all about. LOL
Tim, you’re not winning anybody over with that kind of rhetoric, man. Not that you’re trying to win people over, but you’re pissing off a demographic who blogs here.
Can you imagine if there was such rhetoric regarding gays? Point, set, match.
Please be respectful.
I see the hypocrisy every day here.
Gays? WTF does that mean? Didn’t God create everyone in “His” image? So if gays exist maybe God is into it.
Don’t go down this road. You’ll never win.
Damn and there goes the sniffing glue scene again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bookman don’t let that shit bother you!
for those who believe it’s water off a ducks ass!
for those that don’t, why would they care????????????
So if you believe why do you care? Why get upset?
Krishna made a comment and I joked with him about it. Now it offends some people. Hmmm… I thought that was a leftist thing. Lots of hypocrisy in faith.
That’s what I was telling Bookman!
Because I definitely don’t give a shit! 😉

You definitely tried and failed.
Yeah, I’m bailing for the night before it gets ugly in here.
PEACE!
That’s funny. Everyone goes on and on when talking politics insulting people on a daily basis, but when the almighty God “who is almighty by the way” gets called out, it’s ugly and not acceptable.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hypocrisy
You people crack me up….
….it’s funny to laugh at others’ cultures/rituals but not so funny when they laugh at yours.
And, the fact you can’t see that makes it even sadder….as I lmfao at the hypocrisy of it all.
^
Why are you doing ^? You do exactly what he’s saying all the time. I told you don’t go there, you’re not going to win.
Who is you people Krishna? I literally said I didn’t care if someone thought any of my culture’s rituals were funny and the people you’re going against didn’t like what I said. So who are you referring to?
Also, you go after Christianity and ridicule it all the time, but saying that grown adults who are making funny faces while grunting and squatting looks goofy somehow crosses a line for you? So maybe you should check yourself when handing out hypocrisy badges.
7, you blatantly “laughed” at another’s ritual, uk rightly called you out (at least I was offended too and thought you were better than that…lol…thought), and then denied by saying apples to oranges….that’s a weak place to be coming from…lmao.
Your faux outrage is noted Krishna.
Oh it’s been a funny day!
The Human race is regressing and everyone thinks all cool and shit!
The answer to the question “is the lack of information the problem” has definitely been answered!
The human race is not regressing, it’s always been corrupt.
You are correct!
But Christianity held it in check for awhile! 😉
To be honest, I didn’t even know about this ritual until 7 made fun of it. Then, out curiosity I watched the video….I actually thought it was pretty cool and totally got it the intention….very cool, imo.
Yep, we continue to regress as a species until we eradicate ourselves….lmao…enjoy the ride!
I was actually saddened by it!
Yeah humans were peaceful and glorious back in the day. Slavery, genocide, bigotry and discrimination were the good old days. I mean WTF are people talking about? This is the best it’s ever been but it still has major flaws. Geez!
Well, I’m pretty sure we’ve always had an ugly, sick, side (the human race…lol), but today it’s instant knowledge and easy to find if you want to look….
I’ve often wondered if the human race has always been barbaric or because of instant access we think we are regressig as a species….
…good point
I should preface that’s it’s been a really shitty day, and I don’t really give a shit about your opinions eight now!
Have a good evening!
Of course,
you are aware that Evian water, which is expensive, is actually the word naive backwards.
I drink fiji water
And if you call me ijif bc of it, I will admit it!
Fiji is a tiny island.
Where do you think they get all that water?
And umm, where do they get all those plastic bottles? on that tiny island …
I mean, isn’t plastic manufactured from crude oil?
… … pure and pristine though, right?
I am a pig, I don’t think these things through. I just drink it
Take a look at these 2nd rounders
Beck, thoughhhhh
Well apparently you are one of those people…lol. Let be clearer for you.
Respect for others’ cultures/religions means respect for all cultures and all religions…just variations on a theme.
I do not “go after and ridicule Christianity” only the hypocrisy most of you bring to the table as Christianity…. it’s fucking laughable to me….the hypocrisy to be clear.
Christ symbolized Agape, all Love, compassion and with that sacrifice of the self (ego)….lmao…IMO.
Some of you weild it as shield, an unearned righteousness, that entitles you to see the world with one tribal view….ok
I will ridicule that every time
Lol…that was to 7 at 9:47
I think we know religion is a sensitive topic
You aren’t going to change that buddy
Let it go
Yep….so don’t make fun of others’ religions/rituals/cultures….all for that! So simple to me.
But, if you claim you’ve got the answer….then, I’m lmfao.
I’d like to complain about Easter, since it’s the next Christian holiday.
Bunnies don’t lay eggs.
Neither do Christians.
You are corrupting the minds of children with your pseudoscience.
And eggs are white or brown.
There are no multicolored eggs in nature.
No wonder our children are growing up to believe everything they hear on the internet.
And don’t get me started about the Big Santa Lie.
Santa and Satan have the same letters, you know.
Some eggs are green
lol…did you know blue is not a natural color….mostly
I believe there is an angle of the shell, a slight shift in the mineral architecture, that makes it appear blue, but it is not a natural color. Same with blue jays, and the color “blue” in nature. It’s not a true color, like a red, green, or yellow….I think.
Maybe pigment is the right word….
Am I allowed to say that when I see Christians “speaking in tongues” it makes me crack me laughing as well or is the faux outrage only there when people are pretending to care about others cultures?
Simple example for me with faith and religion. Stop making decisions based on God will take care of it when that is never the case. We live on a violent planet that is a constant obstacle course. Once we realize that we can conform in a more intelligent way, though it will never be perfect, we’ll evolve.
The New World Order concerns are all religious based. You can find proof that dinosaurs existed and other fossils that are learned through science, that the almighty God gave us in his image, but evolution stops there.
Yeah the problem we have in this country is we don’t have prayer in schools. Am I also allowed to say don’t insult my intelligence or is that just for some people? Stop with the false sense of reality.
Look at what goes on in the world. Where is God?
I don’t think that’s going to be answered on this blog?
To me god is the tree’s and the meadows!
But I’m a assbackwards country fuck, so what do I know?
I agree with you. I don’t think it will be answered on some other level anywhere. We just live it. Our country and this world – black market everything. Not just drugs and guns, but people, children. We’re concerned about Reps and Dems? We watch psychos invade sovereign nations and debate the best way to stop innocent people from being killed over tea as it’s happening.
Where is God?
That’s deep, Wyo.
So we shouldn’t care what anyone believes? I’m game.
Let reality play it out just like the football team we all root for. It’s funny “show me” is not always “show me”. Sometimes it’s just the patience brigade. Or people who look for the negative in everything.
At the end of the day the team will be what their record says they are.

__________________________________________________________________________
I don’t know if the “faux outrage” comment was directed at me SB7, but I can assure I am neither outraged nor faux. I described your comment as being in poor taste. It was my opinion (still is) like you expressed yours about the Haka.
The actions of Putin outrage me btw, by way of perspective.
Your comment about one being cool and the other goofy precisely proves my point. You are looking at it entirely through your own eyes, from your pov, and not even considering there may be someone who holds the exact opposite viewpoint, although you do go on to say you wouldn’t care. I have no idea how the tint of someone’s skin has any relevance to this whatsoever. “Fair-skinned” NZ players do the Haka, although it’s roots do lay in the traditions of the first settlers, I believe.
Bottom line though, is we all have the right to free speech, thank goodness. I also believe that just because you can say something, though, doesn’t mean you necessarily should. And I would certainly follow uwantwat’s advice – don’t laugh at a Mauri in person, especially once doing the Haka.
What you put forth was a false equivalency. You compared airplanes speeding past the speed of sound to grown men grunting and making goofy faces. I understand you were trying to equate the two in the name of culture, but it was a fail. One contains vast amounts of humor and the other one doesn’t.
I wasn’t making fun of anyone’s culture. I said the faces and sounds during the performance art made me laugh in the comfort of my own home. That’s a huge difference that continues to be missed. I’m also 100% sure you know nothing about the haka, otherwise you wouldn’t see it as something as beyond reproach. You should probably also do some research into Maori.
If you missed the very blatant double standard when it comes to laughing at culture associated with white skinned people vs that of dark skinned people then I can’t help you.
What you actually said is up this page in black and white. I’ll leave it at that and we’ll cordially agree to disagree. It would appear you are 100% sure you are already in possession of all the facts anyway. Cheers.
Wooo….looks like I picked a good time to start sniffing glues last night!
Lmfao! They don’t test you for “glue”?
Funny, I think the “faux outrage” was directed at me and as uk put it, I am “neither outraged nor faux.”
I think the point is to have r-e-s-p-e-c-t for other cultures’ differences.
So, I apologize for stepping on your message uk….just thought it was a good one.
Other people’s culture fascinate me, including the religion of Catholic/Christianity in which I was raised. When I speak of it, it’s a personal, learned viewpoint, just not rooted in blind faith.
Over the years I have found some “truth” in all modes of expression/prayer/ritual/ culture. It’s amazing how similar we all are to one another, yet “look” so different when we “see” the other.
Maybe, everyone can learn from each other’s differences rather than laughing at them or trying to convert them.
KISS!
Here’s you answer to blue. Anybody who SCUBA dives knows that blues is a long wavelength of light. The deeper you dive the more other color wavelengths are absorbed until nothing is left but blue. So at 50 or so feet everything is blue(-ish). Unless you shine your light on something. Then you see other colors.
https://www.livescience.com/why-blue-rare-in-nature.html
In nature, animals that are different get pushed to the edge of the herd so the lions can eat them. Moral of the story – be a lion.
When it comes to making fun of cultures and religions, I like to laugh at those of the atheist religion when they fail against other religions.
And I also drink Fiji water. And I’m a Pisces.
In football puff pieces
There are a lot of first rounders (QB’s) that bombed also. I bet if I compiled a list of all the first round busts it would exceed the list of 2nd RD busts
Yep
And a list of 2nd round success stories.
Yes because more qbs have been taken in the first, but by percentage there’s more second round busts
Phelon – So many more QB’s are taken in RD 1 so it’s easy to assume that there will be a long list.
