The winless Carolina Panthers at 0-5 come to Miami to take on the 4-1 1st place Miami Dolphins this Sunday, A.K.A Fest Day! This is the best Dolphins team we’ve seen in some time. The offense is incredible, although we have lost rookie sensation RB De’Von Achane for a few weeks as he was placed on IR this week, meaning he’ll miss at least 4 games until he’s eligible to return the week of November 19th against the Raiders. Incidentally, Jeff Wilson Jr. is eligible to return from the PUP list but it has yet to be determined if Wilson will be active. RB Salvon Ahmed and Chris Brooks will most likely share reps with Mostert, with Mostert getting the majority of the touches.
I think the majority of us have a lot of positive feelings with this team. The Buffalo game was a sobering beat down, but the team came back strong against the beleaguered NY Giants. The defense especially made their presence felt last week. In place of Jaelan Phillips, backup LB Andrew Van Ginkel has been stellar. He has made his absence tolerable, although it would be great to have both og them available. Jaelan Phillps logged in a limited practice Wednesday, along with other limited participants WR Tyreek Hill, OG Robert Jones, RB Raheem Mostert, RB Jeff Wilson Jr., and nice to see the return of DB Nik Needham, one of my faves. CB Xavien Howard (veteran rest), FB Alec Ingold (foot), and OC Connor Williams (groin), did not practice. Ingold has said he’s playing Sunday, but Williams is one to keep an eye on, and maybe a late decision.
The Dolphins are the #1 passing team with 1681 yards. The Dolphins are also the #1 rushing team with 929 yards. That’s crazy! This offense, with the exception of the 2nd half of the Bills game has been nearly unstoppable. On defense however, it’s a different story. The Dolphins have allowed the 12th most passing yards, and the 15th most rushing yards. Not terrible, but not championship level either. Vic Fangio may have the Dolphins defense turning the corner, although even a strong showing against the Panthers will still leave the question as to whether this defense, and team in general, can play well against one of the better teams, like the Philadelphia Eagles. We’ll play them the following Sunday, and they will be a better gauge as to where this team is heading.
It’s a shame the Festers won’t get to see RB De’Von Achane who just eats up yardage so quickly, averaging an outrageous 12.1 yards per carry. I’m not talking 5-10 carries, it’s 38. Raheem Mostert is also having a great year rushing and is averaging a whopping 5.4 yards per carry, which is less than half of the magic man, De’Von Achane, but still impressive. We will get to see Tyreek Hill, who has also been magical this season. Hill has 651 yards receiving and is averaging 18.1 YPR, crazy considering all the extra attention he receives. Jaylen Waddle has 245 yards receiving, 14.4 YPR. Braxton Berrios has been great getting open finding soft spots in the zones or just beating coverage to get open.
The Panthers will be showing off their rookie QB Bryce Young who is having a decent rookie season. Young has been sacked 12 times so far this season. Young has 750 yards passing with 5 TD’s and 4 INT’s and a 77 QBR. In contrast, Tua has 1614 yards, with 11 TD’s and 5 INT’s and a stellar 111.9 QBR. It would be nice to have a healthy Jaelan Phillips back, but it’s still unclear as to whether he will suit up. In any case, AVG is on fire right now, so this defense is going to bring it whether Phillips is there or not. I do hope we activate Nik Needham, but I think we have until the 29th to activate him, so it’s probably not happening this week.
No matter what happens at the game itself, this is a special time getting together with a great group. It’s such a pleasure to see you all each year, and of course, we’re thankful for Stanger’s hospitality, Chef Warren, communications man Hulk, transportation man Toba, and everyone who attends and makes it such a special time. It will be great to finally meet Herd, looking forward to that! Looking forward to meeting up again and having a great time while we’re together. Cheers!
GO DOLPHINS!!!

Apple pie
Alright offense, get us back to even
GREAT stop, Defense!!!
Let’s go
Thst was weird that the officials went out of the way to make sure hurts knew it was 2nd down….
Just a bitvyep
Wynn out for the game
OHHHHHH Adjustments!
Oh man lol
Man, so many little things going wrong. Hill never drops passes
Right
God damn
Fuck!!!!!!!!!!
Wow
Stupid!
How do you not throw a flag there?
any question about the refs? I mean really. He turned his head and at least one ref is watching that play
No fucking call?
Yup, the Zebras are in on the fix.
The refs would’ve given the Eagles that face mask call.
How about PI?
Defense needs to give us another big stop
Keep balling D
Still not one penalty on the Eagles……….
It’s bullshit
hmmm …
OOOOOOOHHHHH SHIT!!!!
Should be tied game. Big drop and bad no call
FUCK YOU REFS 😎👍👍🤡🙌
Take that refs!
Here🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
Refs as bent as a $13-bill tonight
Okay tie game now
Yes!!!!!
Keep on bringing it, defense!
Woohoo D
First TD of the year
Jerome Baker – TD-maker
That’s fucking karma
That’s what I’m talking about!!!
FUCK the ZEBRAS!!!
US against the WORLD, BABY!!!
Fangio dialed up the Kohou blitz
We deserved that.
Kohou ate up Hurts.
Just wait until Raheem Mostert puts us back in the lead!
WTF
Two of our best defenders
Couldn’t have been Apple at least ? 🫣
It really feels like everything is against us. I really hope we don’t lose both of those guys
FUCK no…
Fuck, how many forces are going to be stacked against us tonight?
I think they will be fine … little rattled
I really hate apple
Apple has been leaky everywhere he’s played.
Maybe he can redeem himself tonight.
Holland is in
Don’t see a RB slide I’m the open field like that very often
apple fucking again!
I love Kohou, but he has been a really bad tackler this year
Agreed
AVG got held again
There’s that shitty tackling again
Offense has 10 point, they NEED to answer
Okay offence, your turn to git er dun
Fuckit! Score again!!!!
Is there any player left on the Eagles roster who has not roasted Eli Apple tonight?
Does anyone else find it concerning that Cam Smith has barely played this season?
Yes
^
Two clok issues coming out of kickoff returns. wtf?
Apple beat again.
I think he just got beat again, and we are the ones with the ball!
Please can we stop giving the Eagles a quick hug and start tackling them?
SLING IT BABY!!!!!!!!!!!
Great that Holland went back out, that was scary. Didn’t see if Long returned.
At this point, the way everything has aligned against us, I don’t expect us to leave with a win; let’s just leave without anymore injuries.
There’s something about Jaelan Phillips… he doesn’t even walk right.
Through 3 quarters
Dolphins 8 penalties
Eagles 0
two drops by Hill
Tua throwing Wilson open
Eichenberg having a series to remember
Reddick diagnosing our plays like Zach
Eagles can put the game away here.
Baaaaad throw
Big game, another crucial Tua pick. It’s a disturbing trend
No PI. The DB grabbed Mostert before the ball was INT
I was wondering, it did look like he was being pulled before Slay came over for the INT
It was close, but I think it was close enough for a good no call
They aren’t calling shit on them. It was a horrible throw anyway. There was PI on Hill over the middle on that pass he didn’t catch .
definite PI on that play … he had Hill’s jersey.
Good tackle Kohou
How the fuck can’t we stop that play
No one can stop that play
This tush push is just horrible

Refs due a good bonus from someone tonight
10
And game
Nice 10 points by the offense tonight. I mean 3 were gifted by the TO that started us in FG range, so nice 7 points
Hopefully we don’t have to look for excuses when we play the Chiefs in two weeks. It’d be nice to beat a top team this year.
Yep. That’s the big one
Well, we played well with a he injuries, but the bottom line is we haven’t been able to beat good teams consistently over the last two years . Doesn’t matter what the. Reason is, it’s a fact
This isn’t the Fins team which will hopefully be playing in December though Brian?
Eli Apple needs to become apple cider.
Who else is there?
Sign Desmond King!!!
Actually I don’t think he played that bad tonight
You’re being too con’cider’ate to Eli, Hulkster.
I agree, other than getting beat over and over, he was pretty good on those two plays.
Another measuring stick game, and another fail. A lot of things were against us in this one though, so it’s a little harder to evaluate.
Pretty hard to run your offense with 3 backups on the oline, although I guess it’s not really fair to label Lamm as a backup since he’ll play more than Armstead this year
I am not discouraged with what I saw tonight. D actually played pretty well. O line is biggest problem. We also need to cut down penalties
Me neither. It went pretty much how I expected.
Not but we had a chance. The Tua pick was a killer
Totally changed momentum
It was a 3rd and desperation throw and mix up on the route. I don’t kill him on that one
oh well.
Nobody wins ’em all.
Eagles love pushing from behind on other men
Anybody think Achane would’ve made a difference?
Not really
Probably not, but Williams, Armstead, and Wynn might have.
I almost had to buy you one! 🍺
No. Armstead, Howard, and Williams would have
You throw that on 4th down?
Ok I think this is a game like the Buffalo game.
on the road against
a big powerful OL and DL team that plays physical
and has a big strong QB that is hard to sack
with great WRs and TE.
but we played better in this game.
And we will start getting bodies back weekly now …. Coach up the penalties we committed .. still confused how there was not ONE penalty against Philly
4:.10am. Disappointed but we’re still in the race. Nogtih all.
Still in 1st place

Said the blind man 😉
Oh well, the front 7 played pretty darn good on defense, and once Ramsey is back with Howard and we can get Apple off the field, this defense actually might look pretty good.
The health of our oline is going to determine how far this team goes, because we aren’t beating the good teams with Eich at center and backups on the left side.
TBH, this is what I expected tonight
Both games sucked!
I hope you sunsaBtches know I’m taking it out on everyone tomorrow!
Okay tough loss we’re still in good shape. Plenty of football to still be played.
Yeah, we just need to beat a good team and I’ll feel confident this team can do something in the playoffs
This was a tough matchup with injuries on the left side of the OL. We couldn’t establish a running game.
Now it’s going to look like a blowout
The difference in this game came down to the brotherly shove. 4 for 4
I saw Apple spot running after the WR caught the ball. He just gave up and didn’t run after them. Saw it at least 3-4 times.
^ same here
I also saw him lay some big hits and kept a lot of plays to short gains
He did seem to tackle better as the night went on
Yeah, for the third time now… our O-Line was down T-Stead, Connor Williams, and Isaiah Wynn (<– went out early). That played a YUGE part in our inability to run today.
We're going to be alright… this game doesn't break us.
Dolphins 10 penalties
Eagles 0
Not a single penalty called on the Eagles is effing BS, but we really didn’t have much of a chance in this game.
Get ready for 24/7 of the Dolphins can’t beat the elite teams.
I don’t think you will hear that after this game
We will 100% hear that after this game
Deservedly so
