2025 Season – Game 3 – Dolphins @ Bills

This is the time for this team to make it’s stand, to turn the season around. These teams couldn’t be further apart, both in how they’ve played so far, the way the Bills have been scoring points in bunches and how the Dolphins offense barely scores at all. The Dolphins have put 11 guys on the field at any given time during each game but those 11 guys haven’t really played defense. It hasn’t appeared that those 11 guys have been much of a deterrent for opposing offenses. I’m not going to work harder than this team has so I’m not going to give you the exact number, but they had a great streak of 10 consecutive drives in which opposing offenses scored on which took them through to the 3rd quarter of game 2 against the Patriots.

This defense has allowed an embarrassing 33.0 points per game. Some folks think Anthony Weaver deserves to be the guy that replaces current HC Mike McDaniel if he were to get fired, but shouldn’t his unit have to keep it under 25 points per game before being considered as the interim Head Coach? Sure, a lot of this falls on GM Chris Grier. Some of you here behave as if Grier had his best draft ever in 2025. OMG, DT Kenneth Grant, OG Jonah Savaiinaea, DT Jordan Phillips, CB Jason Marshall, S Dante Trader, RB Ollie Gordon, QB Quinn Ewers, and DT Zeek Biggers. It may just turn out to be that way, but so far, after only 2 games it doesn’t look so good. DT Kenneth Grant hasn’t showed up, he’s played, but hasn’t really done anything. OG Jonah Savaiinaea has started both games but hasn’t fared well, despite the trade up which ruined 31 other franchises who wanted him. DT Jordan Phillips is playing too, he’s in the rotation but also hasn’t done anything yet either. S Dante Trader and DT Zeek Biggers have gotten playing time as well and some folks are optimistic about S Dante Trader, but this defense has been awful and they couldn’t pick a more difficult opponent in the Buffalo Bills who are averaging 35.5 points per game.

There’s been a lot of talk about the pressers before the game, especially the one featuring our QB Tua Tagovailoa. He was effusive with praise, and very humble, and while I don’t give a rats ass what he says, I wholeheartedly agree with everything he said. As to whether he should have said it or not, again, IDGAF. Tua needs to be loud on the field, and lead this team to an improbable win. The Bills on defense have been soft, allowing 25 points per game. Our putrid offense led by the humble one has managed only17.5 points per game, good for last in the NFL. Damn, so close a competition, but the offense just edges out the defense as the worst in the NFL, as the Defense is 31st, allowing 33.0 points per game.

If I were an optimistic fella (I’m not), and if I thought there was a gameplan that might topple the Bills (There might be), I would feed both running backs and I would take some deep shots against this Bills secondary. The Bills haven’t been good defensively, Achane has been amazing, I think he’s clearly the centerpiece of this offense. Ollie Gordan has had 3 rushing attempts. Sound familiar? Well, yes, it does! We did the same thing when we featured our newly drafted RB last season Jaylen Wright, who required 2 picks, one a 2025 3rd RD pick. Hey, how’s that trade up looking right now? Anyway, it would be nice to see the RB Ollie Gordon get some carries and do some damage and keep the Bills offense off the field.

If you’re a betting man, the Bills are -900 and the Dolphins are +600. I don’t bet and I don’t even know what it means, but the betting has been heavy on Buffalo. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but if the NFL was gonna fix a game, this would be it. The betting has been extremely heavy on the Bills favored by 11 points against the Dolphins. Over the last 5 seasons, the Bills are 9-1 against the Dolphins. Starting from 2021, these are the scores, all in favor of the Buffalo Bills except one. 56-26, 35-0, 26-11, 19-21, 32-29, 34-31, 48-20, 21-14, 31-10 and 30-27. Some have been close, but the Bills have been dominant in the win column. Bills have been our daddy, and at the current time, this might just be the biggest mismatch. If I didn’t have my doubts about the NFL being fixed, I would say the Bills would win this game 41-3. I do, however, have legit doubts about whether games could be fixed and this one is ripe for that.

If we do somehow upset the Big Bad Bills, just wait until next week when we unveil our Rivalry Uniforms against the Jets at Hard Rock, so we can’t possibly lose that game, right? We’d be right back at 2-2 and ready to blister all the way to 14-3 as our own dear Piggy predicted. It could happen, right? Probably not. The Bills are in their new stadium, Highmark Stadium, and that would be a horrible loss for the Bills, not only a division loss but also a conference loss as the Bills try to keep pace with the LA Chargers, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Indianapolis Colts as well as staying ahead of the Chiefs and Ravens and I think one of the dark horses this year, the Denver Broncos.

  7. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I can’t believe they didn’t everything right on that drive

between the clock management and the TD

  8. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

    Not bad 👍

  9. Randy's avatar Randy says:

Tied at half. I tell ya these divisional games are crazy.

  10. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Randy – Bills wiped out the Jets. Shockingly, we’re putting up a fight. I’m still waiting for the shoe to drop

  11. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

I’ve seen a few calls in this game, that are a little questionable, missed holding twice on Bills, the Hill 1st down on first drive, not calling delay of game on the last drive

Think we’ve benefited more, don’t be surprised, if they even it out in 4th

  12. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

this game gives hope, not for the 2nd half, but rest of season being able to win a game or 2

  13. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

if I was Ross, I’d buy some steel tipped pointed boots and kick MM square in the arse

then say, figure out how to call plays faster, or relinquish the job

  14. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Lol at Bills have their hands full

  15. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

    Butler playing with bad intentions

  16. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

can we please get a turnover

  17. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    what a baby

  18. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

Stupid asshole. This team is so undisciplined.

  19. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Didn’t really see a penalty on that flag

  20. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

Brooks got tossed to the ground 😱!!!

  21. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

just appeasing the Bills home crowd with that stuff

could have easily called Kincaid or the OL for going after defensive players

  22. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

I don’t have any faith in this team in a tight game against a top tier team. We will either lose a close one or get steamrolled.

  23. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Just caught up. Couldn’t have asked for much more this half. Limited Bills possessions and capitalized on ours.

  24. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

They need to throw the ball down the fucking field

  25. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

the play clock issues could solved by doing 2 easy things, shorten the name and stop sending a guy in motion every play

  26. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

1st down plays behind the LOS are one of the reasons we find ourselves in 3rd and long so often

just do a little passing play in 1st down

we can do so many things offensively on 2nd and 5 or 6

    2nd and 13 is always a mess

    • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

The 1st down issues were the same last year. You can’t start every series of downs with negative yardage and expect to keep converting.

  27. Randy's avatar Randy says:

Not sure why Hill didn’t catch that heave.

  28. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

My ninja Jack Jones is growing as a tackling CB!

  29. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

That was a decent defensive series

  30. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Chubb has been running downfield and smacking receivers around, like Butler

at least the effort is there tonight

  31. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

wow we run for 6 yards against 9 in box

  32. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    lots of slipping tonight

  33. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

we’re hanging around by the skin of our teeth, many questionable things could’ve gone the other way

  34. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

lots of young players, injuries, and new players, not sure why anyone expected us to come out on the season strong

  35. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

we blew it, that was our chance to stay in the game

  36. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Tua had a couple of receivers WIDE OPEN! He didn’t see them as the pressure was coming after him.

  37. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Should have been a delay of game on us coming out of that TO. It’s unfathomable how that keeps happening.

  38. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

DBs not exactly thrilled to hit Allen

  39. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

I gotta admit, I’m just happy we’re in this game with 4+ left in the 3rd. I mean, I figure they’ll go up two scores here, but hey, I’ll take it.

  40. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Defense suddenly keeping us in the game.

    COME ON OFFENSE!!!

  41. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

lol, I think I can hear Piggy “Another fucking swing pass to Achane?!!”

  42. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Tua needs to throw those swing passes with a little mustard

  43. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

We have converted every single short yardage situation in this game, and been really good at it all year.

  44. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Go Ollie!!

  45. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Uh, Jay Ajayi maybe?

  46. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

I thought OL were supposed to be smart

  47. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

    sigh

  48. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

    Procedural shit kills us again

  49. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

11 qtrs in and no mention of Julian Hill yet, he looked good on the Savaiinaea Fup

lots of young players, injuries, and new players, not sure why anyone expected us to come out on the season strong

I expected a strong start due to a perceived 2 lay up wins to start the season …. Was hoping after those two wins we would play Buffalo this close and possibly eke out a win 🤷‍♂️

  51. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

if the Bills were smart, the game plan should’ve been keep Fins in the game at all cost, to keep things status quo in Mia

  52. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

    Woohoo! Still alive

  53. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

    Getting a little cutsie

  54. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    Ollie Gordon time

  55. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

    Fucking tie game

  56. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

  57. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    woohoo

    showing some heart

  58. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

This is unbelievable, but give it 5 minutes

  59. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

    Wow agin

  60. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

As far as I’m concerned, right now we’re playing with house money

  61. herdfan's avatar herdfan says:

This is kind of surreal, like I’ve had one gummy too many! 🤣

  62. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

I would love to win this game . You have no idea how many Bills fans are at my school.

  63. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

coincidence 20 runs and 27 passes and its tied?

  64. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

I can’t get the game but I’ve been checking on the play-by-play on nfl.com and I am losing my fucking mind

this is a perfect example of why I hate the dolphins

  65. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Trader with a TD saving shoestring tackle

  66. New Age's avatar New Age says:

This blows my mind. We’ve played well overall outside of the terrible time management. When McDaniel eventually gets fired, he’ll think that if only they played like this during the two easy first games he might still have a job.

  67. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

    Another effing stop!

  68. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Jack Jones, baby bobba!

  69. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

    Jones is ballin

  70. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

So effing stupid. First time I’ve seen Sieler do anything all year.

  71. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

why the fuck would you try to block the punt, unbelievable

  72. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

    Roughing the kicker

  73. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

    welp, there goes the game

  74. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

This team is a bunch of fucking losers from top to bottom

  75. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

    Sieler youre playing like Wilkins

  76. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

do we have to say it

    lack of discipline

    again

  77. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Just an unlucky play by Sieler

  78. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Let’s see the offense answer

  79. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

Another winning team, another loss for the Dolphins, Tua, MM

  80. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

Well Mr Tua , do you own a pair of Big Boy Pants ??

  81. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Sieler may have kept us in the game by default

the punt went to the 1, even though dude was touching the ball with foot on goal line, we likely would’ve punted and Bills would’ve drove to run out clock and score

  82. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

3 bills moved early on that kickoff

  83. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

why do they have to report that in the middle of the game

  84. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

go for 2, if we score

  85. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Tua pressing tonight everything is high

  86. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

    shitty spot

  87. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Fuck fuck fuck!

  88. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

    Tua did what he does

  89. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    of course

  90. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

And the re ya have it 😡

  91. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Bye bye, Tua.

  92. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

that’s aiight, they played great tonight

  93. New Age's avatar New Age says:

    That’s our Tua.

  94. herdfan's avatar herdfan says:

omg… I knew something like this was coming

  95. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

    Loser Tua strikes again

  96. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Of course that loser throws an interception in crunch time. He fucking sucks. Get rid of him this offseason.

  97. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Fucking guy wouldn’t know a big win if it smacked him in the face
