Scrambling or running are different than moving or sliding in the pocket and I contend that Randy is correct that Tannehill isn’t the best “mover” in the pocket. Stepping up, or sliding away from pressure isn’t the same as pulling it down and running.
I fully know the difference. Like I told Randy hard to show good pocket movement when it’s rapidly collapsing all around you.

Bingo…see my reply just above.
Tanny was noted as very strong standing tall in the pocket since week 1 of 2012. With pressure coming at him from all angles he didn’t get rattled, stood tall, made throws.
He’ll be ok, he’s shown he’s learned, and the FO is trying to get him a real starting 5.
I feel confident, but I did see some of things others have griped about. His time is now to play loose, ball and win.
Guess we’ll see….but Tanny has yet to let me down. He’s grown every year in way less than desirable situations…namely OL play & WR corp that f**k’d off. 🙂

Jason Pierre-Paul was a no-show at Giants minicamp on Tuesday.
The minicamp is mandatory but Pierre-Paul doesn’t have to be there because he hasn’t signed his franchise tender. Despite his absence, Pierre-Paul remains in contact with the coaching staff. The Giants have until July 15 to sign Pierre-Paul to a long-term contract or else he’ll have to play under the franchise tag or sit out. The 26-year-old has stayed in shape by working with a personal trainer at his home in Florida.
