So here we go again the Dolphins are down 16-3
They even gave up a safety …again…
but…
Dolphins D holds the Eagles to 3 second half points
I actually have no idea how the Dolphins won.
They were outgained by the Eagles by over a hundred yards.
And they had some calls go not their way
but this guy still plays for the Dolphins and when the balls goes off another players helmet and hangs in the air for a few minutes. You can count on Landry to score…
Reshad Jones had a timely pick too…as usual…
Dolphin Win!!!

I saw that; They hit an ISIS training camp.
But airstrikes alone are never going to get rid of 500,00 scumbags in pickup truck with giant machine guns mounted on the back
this may take a generation to fix. Unemployemnt is very high for youth in the middle east some places 40-50 percent. These kids need hope. I’ve heard syrian womenfor sex trafficking are being sold anywhere from 10 bucks to $175 to generate income. Kids as young as 1-9 yrs olds being sold for sex trade.Black markets for oil(Turkey) Isis taxing iraqi citizens 50 percent. The money generators is coming to a end soon and things may become uglier in that time.
Ed Hockuli (sp) should be thrown out of the league and not be allowed to ref any more games, this kind of shit happens every time he’s involved in a game. Yeah don’t think we haven’t noticed either NFL you bunch of cheating fucks.
That was a good win yesterday, not a pretty win but a good win and it’s been a long time since we won a game like that.
Two things I brought up Friday happened yesterday.
I said we haven’t kicked a meaningful FG all year and although we didn’t kick one late we needed both to be in the game.
I said we haven’t scored a 4th qtr TD so far this year that either put us back in a game or gave us a lead and even though it was the early 4th qtr we finally did it and the D was able to hold on.
4 TD game for Cousins yesterday and Cam won again too.
Did he win, or Carolina? You know why I ask -lol
The Cam-olina Panthers are undefeated

JUST AN UNBELIEVABLE second half performance by the Dolphins’ defense!! – – CAN’T IMAGINE in my wildest dreams that this would/could have happened if “Clueless Joe” was still in charge. NOT EXACTLY SURE how much of this comeback was due to Campbell and his staff making adjustments and how much was due to pissed-off Dolphins being tired of playing like clowns. The fact that Campbell benched Grimes after his awful performance last week is EXACTLY the kind of message that needs to be sent!! It took a big pair of balls to do it. But events have proven Dan Campbell did the right thing.

MIAMI’s under talented offensive line cannot provide realistic dreams of making the playoffs. We’ve got SO MANY HOLES on this team to fill, despite Ross’s and T-Baum’s spending spree during the off season. And there’s NOT ENOUGH cap space to repair all the leaks, thanks to unwise spending by T-Baum. The fact that T-Baum did ESSENTIALLY THE SAME THING TO THE JETS FRANCHISE BEFORE HE WAS LET GO apparently did NOT sink in when Ross made the decision to hire him!! So, again, THIS IS ALL ON ROSS, just as his decisions to keep/hire the Tuna, Sparano, Ireland and Philbin are all on Ross.

ME AND MRS. OD will be in the stands for the Miami-Dallas game this coming Sunday. It will be her first game back to Sun Baked Stadium since the security incident at the Kansas City game last September 21. We’re STILL awaiting an explanation/apology from Dolphins’ security on that outrageous incident. But we’re hoping the increased level of security brought about by recent ISIS attacks will make the stadium safer. We hope all of you who’ll be attending this game will act as an extra pair of eyes and ears to help protect your fellow fans. The only good ISIS radical is a DEAD ISIS radical!

I’m happy for the team win yesterday, especially for the D for gutting it out. But, man, we have to change something given that pt reality.
With less than 3 minutes to go in the game, I was disgusted (again) with the team and turned off the TV, grabbed my book and went to Starbucks. I got in the car and started driving and changed the radio station. It happened to tune into the Dolphins game where I hear the announcers saying “The Dolphins win” “The Dolphins win”
I was like WTF?? LOL how did that happen? We couldn’t get a first down to kill the clock….
Yeah!Dolphins win! Thanks all the young players who stood the fuck up!
I enjoyed that win because the game got ugly for awhile but the defense stepped up along with lots of young players stepping up and we pulled if off. That’s a game we normally lose so good road win.
“That’s a game we normally lose”
Yeah, main reason why with less than 3 minutes to go I assumed a defensive collapse and turned the TV off. Exciting game. I don’t think my heart can take too many like that.

Quietly…rookie P Matt Darr (@m_darr) leads the NFL in punting (49.1) and 8th in net (41.6). #puntersarepeopletoo
That was one of the weirdest Dolphins games I had seen in a while. Forced so many turnovers but none recovered. The two biggest being Vernon unable to hold it; the other the late hit on the QB on the Hewitt INT (I think it was Hewitt) before the half. We lost a potential 10 points there and a minimum of 6 just on those two plays alone. Got to clean that up.
The TE situation again looked hopeless but somewhere the D coordinator or somebody realized that they got to keep the extra defender back and not have him come in to attack.
It sucked sometimes because the Philly QB had plenty of time to scan the field at times rolling out of the pocket but it seemed to work as they couldn’t find people at times.
The moments that I did love about the game were the young guys…
Matthews, Landry, Ajayi, Miller, BOBBY MCCAIN (looked like a vet in his first start…so smooth).
The future looks bright if the team can ever resolve the OL issues.
I was furious at Lazor much of the game with his cheesy college type play calls (bubble screen, double/triple reverse, etc). Also his mix in the 1st half where he kept it up with his typical shotgun formation and nothing but passes. The team went back to running even while down which is a plus but they have to do that early before they are in a deficit. I’m tired of fundamental football being ignored. I watched the Pats/Giants game last night and saw what I expected from the Pats when their team gets to the 2 or 1 yard line -> I formation, 3 TE sets.
Think the OL woes arent critical anymore it think they are starting to gel now. There were some cock ups int he game, like one by Albert when he doubled up on Thomas’ guy when he didnt have to and let the guy come around from the outside unblocked. Thomas got pushed back into Tanny one play. Turner had a miscue or two and so did Fox, but that was a pretty good showing against one of the best front 7’s in the NFL. I think a lot of it is coming down to play-calling as it has many times this year. There were three or four series in this game that were just fucking ridiculous. I remember one series with us backed into our endzone, here we are in shotgun, same for the fumble/safety. Same for short yardage packages and redzone where we line up in shotgun and straight pocket pass which is not Tanny’s strength. They hate the roll-out/bootleg for some reason.

Him and Landry are freaks of nature. Keep an eye on the LSU WR’s coming out. 🙂
——————————————
Best one they got coming out this next year is Travin Dural, and he is no OBJ/Landry. He’s prone to drops, not nearly as sure handed. He probably is as gifted athletically or more so than Landry, and better physical specimin than OBJ. He’s 6’2, runs a sub 4.4 40, but he doesnt seem to have the makeup that the others have. Dont get me wrong he has talent and if he fell to the 3rd or 4th id take him but i wouldnt overpay for him. I just dont think he has the IT factor that Landry has.
One SEC reveicer that might be a later round steal because he plays like a beast and has pretty great hands and ability to turn short plays into long ones is Pharoh Cooper of South Carolina. He’s very similar to Landry.
Your score is: 6548 (GRADE: A-)

By the way, cant’ stand these NFL receiving rules anymore.
That catch by Odell last night that was denied is the WR version of the Brady Rule that the NFL did away with. Why try and bother to have referees if the league wants to automate what is a fumble or incomplete pass with some shitty rule. I get what the NFL wants to consider a football move, or that some guys are stumbling down to the ground while trying to catch, but when a player is vertical, balanced, and clearly has the ball in his grasp while two feet are down in the endzone …that should be a TD
A runner can barely tip the pylon and lose the ball or jump over the goal line and cross it by a millimeter and lose the ball and it’s TD, yet receivers have to perform a dance routine to prove that the ball never moved. LOL
Al, agreed on Lazor. He calls plays like he’s playing a friggin video game. Stick with core plays that work you dumb fuck. LOL
He needs to be fired, win or not, he keeps doing same shit and its almost like no one can talk the senselessness of repeating this idiocy through his thick skull.
yeah, I agree with you guys. Lazor is to “cute” with his play calling. all the BS reverses, fake reverses, double reverses, triple reverses, etc need to stop! Plus all the BS shifting before the plays needs to stop. At least when we are in the hurry up!!!! Way to kill the clock when you are in a hurry. Line up, then take 5 more seconds off the clock while we shift and reset EVERY FREAKIN PLAY! I get the idea behind showing one alignment and then shifting to another. I helps the offense see what kind of Defense they are calling. (Man vs zone, etc) but STOP DOING IT WHEN YOU ARE IN THE HURRY UP!!!
The shifting and motion stuff is weird a lot of the time. Much of the time they go back to where they started. I guess Lazor thinks he’s blowing the defense’s mind. LOL

Look out for @MDC_Paige at Sunday’s game and find out tomorrow who your next Cheerleader of the Week will be!
“Brent Grimes guessed he puked 15 times between Saturday night and Sunday.
Food poisoning was the culprit.”
—————-
Wonder if some Room Service waiter in Philly is bragging to his friends about how he almost won the game.
Anyone know Jenkin’s status?
they said he was gonna be fine.
To add to what Al said, it was unbelievable how every ball bounced away from us on forced fumbles. It was crazy, but that’s why the Landry TD was our due. Sometimes, the ball has to bounce your way!
From the SS:
“Jenkins, who is third on the team with 45 total tackles, initially suffered the injury in last week’s 33-17 loss to the Buffalo Bills. He practiced all week on a limited basis, then re-aggravated the ankle injury in the second quarter after tallying five tackles.”
“Brent Grimes guessed he puked 15 times between Saturday night and Sunday.”
I’ve told him time and time again. Do NOT eat Miko’s pie! That is rank enough to make anyone puke for days!
CAN miami win 6 of the next 7 games to get them a wild card? I doubt it, but it is possible. Now that they have laid down 4 times to the AFC east there are no tie breakers that will save them. They MUST win the next 7 in a row to guarantee a playoff spot or at least 6 with some help.
The season is still over…..
For sure the playoffs are unlikely, but right now the 6th spot would go to a 5-4 team and there is only one other. They need to go 5-2 just to get to ten wins. Lot of football still to play.
I am really like Rishard Mathews as a starter for us! He and Landry play with passion and are very physical. If we can get old broken foot going we would have some excellent WR’s.
I think Rishard will be gone next year. Bad Foot is going to have to get healthy enough to start next year.
I hope not. We finally develop a guy…..
Rock
Very true, but I think part of it is Rishard finally woke up in time to play for his next contract.
I hope we keep him as well. Sure he’s playing for a contract right now but since he was our draft pick I think he’ll play hard for us after he gets his money.
He seized the opportunity as well when Parker and Stills were out and never looked back. He’s always flashed when given the opportunity.
“Worst players at every position from Week 10” by PFF
Guards: Dallas Thomas, Dolphins (-7.2) and Matt Tobin, Eagles (-6.7)
Same game alert! One QB hit and six QB hurries allowed by Thomas, so not a great day there. But he surrendered four run stops and a couple other disruptive plays, and that led to a -5.2 run block grade, worst among guards. On the other side, Tobin allowed a hit and four hurries, and also struggled blocking the run, posting grades below -3.0 in both categories, the only guard this week to do that.
Defensive interior – tackle: Earl Mitchell, Dolphins (-4.9)
Mitchell actually posted a positive grade when rushing the passer, so that just shows how poorly he played against the run. A -5.7 grade in that aspect, Mitchell failed to record a single stop—or even a tackle. He was consistently blocked out of plays by the Eagles’ interior line. He was basically the very definition of invisible in this game for the Dolphin
It seems we have at least one guy on this list every week!
That’s not what I saw in Mitchell. We shut the Eagles running game down. 36-83 2.3 tells the real story.
He clogged the middle and yes he did have a tackle so that report is the equivalent of this…

what happened to your girl Rhonda.
I’m disappointed with stills. Piggy wanted us to throw to him more and we did and he dropped the ball.
At lease we had one guy show up in the “Best players from week 10”
Edge rushers: Olivier Vernon, Dolphins (+6.8) and Justin Houston, Chiefs (+8.9)
It was a monster day for Vernon, who landed a massive six hits on the quarterback. Over in Denver, the Chiefs’ Houston was having himself a day as well, with 10 quarterback disruptions highlighting his impact.
‘I think a lot of it is coming down to play-calling as it has many times this year.’
D,
i think most here if not all agree with this. we all have an opinion if it is tanny or the o line that hurts the offense, but i think the real culprit is lozar. his play calling does nothing to help tanny’s or the o lines weaknesses and more so exploits them. it seems to me every time they line up with tanny under center and two te’s and hand the ball to miller they gain 6 or 7 yards, yet they do that once or twice a game. just poor play calling
Even Rich Gannon said we should utilize RT’s mobility more.

That catch by Odell last night that was denied is the WR version of the Brady Rule that the NFL did away with.
do you mean the nfl receiving rules or the nfl against the pats receiving rules?
the pats do get all the calls.
i was watching the cheats game with my son last night. he would say they may lose. and my response to him, ‘the nfl is not going to let them lose this year’ then that bs call on the td and my son says ‘ok, maybe you have a point’
The receiving rule is so stupid. The ball cannot move until you do a pirouette followed by a curtsy.
tim,
i did hear him say that. heard him also say a couple times that tanny needed to check out of that play. i know it has been discussed on here but i wonder if tanny is allowed to audible or if he just doesnt know when to check out of a bad play.
either way the bottom line is the play calling sucks. like ajaya looking good on one drive then you hardly see him again the rest of the game.
Tim Knight says:

The receiving rule is so stupid. The ball cannot move until you do a pirouette followed by a curtsy.
yep, and the other bs about the call. they kept saying you need two feet in bound. and i watched that replay at least 10 times and came to find out that two feet in bostonian language means you have to catch the ball on one side of the endzone complete at least 17 jumping jacks to show you have both feet down and in bound
And that tipped Ball into the endzone right to Landry. The Football Gods were with us yesterday cause 99 out of 100 times in the past that ball goes to the Defenders
HELL YEAH!!!
And along the same theme about rules, I know it ultimately worked out in our favor, but how is that not a fumble recovery by Vernon? He had possession of the ball and took a couple steps before it was dislodged. It should have been a fumble and recovery for Philly. Huge call in our favor. I didn’t even understand the explanation the ref on TV gave. They’ve screwed up the rules so much, nobody knows how plays should be called…which is exactly what the NFL wants….ambiguity…so they can make any call they want and fans have no idea if it’s the “right” call or not.
The talking heads said that the rule on the recovery was the same as for a reception that they still can’t really figure out……that sorta explained the mystery at least.
I thought it was sorta of funny though — when was the last time you rooted for the refs to determine that your team DID NOT recover a fumble?
They’re so inconsistent with making calls.
Still LOL @ Peyton Manning. They stop the game to salute & award him the ball when he got that last remaining yards to pass Brett Favre. He then gets benched later in the same game for going 5/20 25% comp 0 TD 4 INT’s & 0.0 QBR 😯
He was injured going in and at least aggravated what he already had in the game.
I call that guts……if maybe a bit deluded on what he could get done.
randy,
i agree with you that the nfl wants ambiguity. however, with the call vernon i thought it was like you said at first. that he recovered it then fumbled it. but on replay then i thought he never had possession while take the two steps. it looked like the ball was moving. but even if they did call that it would have just been philly ball with the holding penalty. not like it was the game changer that magically went in the cheats favor again.
not like it was the game changer that magically went in the cheats favor again.
Don’t get me started on that one! unsportsmanlike penalty for “batting” the ball forward.!! First Down New England. That was such a travesty! I am angry all over again!

Lol. Funny.
Anyone notice the DL hit Tanny in the face mask and side of the helmet on a rush? I thought you can’t hit a QB in the head or it’s a automatic 15 yard penalty?
One thing that made me angry;
That possession just before the half I guess, 54sec and we hit Mathews for 20+ thirty yards?
and we call T/O
I knew that drive was doomed then as we never run a successful play after burning a Time Out.
How much clock did we even use on that failure, They got the ball beck with at least 30sec
Look at Brady in that last minute drive, not wasting his T/O and casually strolling back to the line to run another play, not even spiking the ball.
That first quarter may have been the worst 15 minutes of football I’ve seen us play in years…all three phases. Thank goodness philly couldn’t do anything after that quarter. That game was a tough watch. Take the win and run!
Gotta love a win that looked like it wouldn’t be. But it would be unfair not to credit those who made it happen.
After the 1st quarter I thought our defense stepped up and played with pride lead by Suh. But that’s a game we usually lose so just enjoy it and move on. LOL

NFL rule 3:54. An quarterback is allowed to be hit while in the pocket by an opposing linemen any where above the knee upon releasing a pass. Unless the quarterback plays for the New England Patriots which in that case if the opposing defender is with in 2 yards of the quarterback it is a 15 yard penalty and automatic ejection.
The hit by Mosley with certainty was not roughing the passer. He hit him hard but it was clean, right after Bradford released the ball and in the torso region they require the hit to land. Was 0 wrong with that hit. Cost us a int/turnover.
I think that PFF just looks at a player and if a play went through their spot and if they did its a negative play. Neither Mitchell or Thomas had as much responsibility on those plays as they are apparently giving them credit for. Thomas for sure had a few plays where he looked bad. One play, the sack they are crediting to him, was indeed on him and he practically looked like he had roller skates on he glided back so fast. Mitchell looked ok imo. I dont really see why he received such a poor overall grade.
‘ I really want this guy to stick as our permanent HC!!!’
you want a guy who has no experience and has been horribly out coached by two afc east coaches. listen, i like the guy too and glad for him but i want them to get a real coach with some head coaching experience.
Stanger, Bradford was well on his way to losing the game as well. I actually thought the pick by Jones was more him than a bad throw by Sanchez.
Bradford was 19 of 25 for 236 and a TD and wasn’t tripping his RBs as if it was on purpose.
Yeah but he looked really shaky a bunch of times that I was surprised he got some of those off.
He still had a 118 QB rating though…….just not sure how he can be dogged for his performance. Think he doesn’t get hurt and we lose.
D,
i missed that play mosley. i was just having fun with the missed roughing the passer on tanny.
It was BS, he hit him as he released the ball. Yet Tanny got hit in the face and on the side of the helmet and no call.
gdp
New leader? Where’s his leadership been for 4 years? Lol
***
As for Campbell as our HC next year, he hasn’t proven much of anything so far. I would be willing to bet he has no shot at being our HC next season…although they’ll say he was given consideration. He was a sacrificial lamb when he was named interim HC. He has looked lost and confused on the sidelines so far. I really see no reason to give him a head coaching job here. Emotional speeches after games seems to be about the only thing he’s given this team so far. If Philbin was still our coach, people would be ripping him a new asshole today for how “unprepared and flat” this team looked in the first half.

Rob, think outside your lil box!
As I’ve said before, Campbell is very much HC material as much as many others currently employed around the league.
He motivates, he is a natural leader, his players seem very loyal to him. He’ll refine his clock management skills and a few other minor things.
But what has hamstrung him & the rest of the team on game day is the lack of ‘experienced’ savvy Coordinators.
Imagine the likes of Norv Turner & Wade Phillips types as our Coordinators!
I’ve said it a dozen times. Get Campbell the Coordinators he wants and watch this team go!
Randy, the reply above here is for you too!
D
Pay no mind to PFF. Their evaluations are worthless most of the time. I’m shocked that people still pay any attention to them. Thomas had some bad plays. I still don’t like his footwork and balance, but his overall performance yesterday was not a bad one. I thought Albert and Turner both had a worse game. Albert appeared to miss several assignments, and Turner whiffed on several plays and had two false starts…even if they weren’t costly in terms of field position. And in Mitchell, I have no idea what they were watching. I thought he had a solid game….not spectacular but not bad by any stretch.
***
With that said, do ya think we’re gonna see every team from here on out throwing routes to their TEs more often? We were getting our asses handed to us in that area. Guys were open by 10 yards!
The receptions by the TE’s had me flashing back to last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and……well you get the point. We have been terrible covering the TE’s for 4-5 years straight.
So has 90% of the league. Every fan I know says the same thing about their team. LOL
None. But I have thrown a whole lot less interceptions as well!
gdp
I just haven’t seen anything in Campbell to suggest he’s HCing material. Anybody can simply hire good coordinators….if it were that easy. That doesn’t make for a good HC. I’m not rooting against the guy, but I also see no need to put the cart before the horse. There’s plenty of time to figure out the HC situation. I’d go after Sean Payton in a heartbeat. I think he would jumpstart this offense immediately.
***
Lunch is over….later fellas.
Sean Payton? The one that’s sucking big time the past few years with Brees as his QB?
payton doesn’t know anything about defense. The saints defense this year is historically bad. No thanks.
Randy, I saw the same thing with Mitchell, he helped clog the middle. We shut down their run game 36-83 2.3.
I’d go after Sean Payton in a heartbeat. I think he would jumpstart this offense immediately.
The Sean Payton being done in N.O. rumor started pretty early this year, but is seems to be picking up steam. If Sean Payton does come available I would jump on it in a second.
‘Rob, think outside your lil box!’
lmao, says the guy pulling for a non experience head coach all because he is a good cheerleader. ok, well i guess i cant keep up with your expanded thinking. i only think inside a box (and just so you know that is impossible. there isnt a man alive that is thinking when in the box) so i will leave it up to you to pull for the cheerleader.
Not pulling for him cause he’s just a cheerleader…but keep running with that narritive….it makes for fun gags & guffaws from you.
“Think he doesn’t get hurt and we lose.”
Stanger, I completely agree. Bradford would have gotten them into FG range at least once to seal the game, and most likely would have scored a TD before then.
Most likely, shoulda, coulda, blah blah blah.
Did anyone notice we’ve lost starters before this game and had even more injuries during the game that cost us players? SMH
I think he was starting to play worse. He was looking shaky as they continued to punt series after series.
I think it’s time to back to a defensive HC. We’ve had better success with them and not so much with the offensive HCs.
Don’t really think it matters overall as long as we get a coach that motivates the players and plays fundamental football. When you see teams playing good fundamental football you see those teams be successful.
Yeah I get that, but I’m feeling we should go defensive coach. I’d rather have a defensive mentality and have him hire a quality OC who isn’t a cutesy play caller. 😉

well no. first i like my cheerleaders to be female or at least big green and hulky. and second, told you i like the guy. i just think he has been put in something that is way over his head. and you cant hire guys turner and philips, both with head coaching experience and ask them to come work for some one that has no experience at it. it just doesnt work that way. in a perfect scenario, he would pick up enough throughout the remainder of the season to be a HC. but this isnt disney, it is the newendland football league.
Norv Turner works under 1st time HC Zimmer right?
I think the Vikes are in 1st place BTW.
Zimmer had a lot of respect as a DC though.
I agree and its unfortunate for him. Rizzi is pretty much doing the HC duties right now and Campbell kinda is the cheerleader. I don’t think through the end of the season gets him ready at this point in his career, buy they may be willing to give him more chance for on the job training if he pulls a miracle out of his ass. I personally agree with FFR though and just don’t think he is ready for it. OC sure HC not so much.
i would take payton or smith as the next head coach. and yeah both come with issues, but pretty sure there isnt a HC out there that has won every game they ever coached. every coach is going to come with issues. you guys act like there is some perfect solution out there. like the same way you look at the qb position. there just isnt a lot of rodger’s or brady’s out there just like there isnt a lot of HC with no question marks
Yeah there are, they have jobs as HCs and aren’t going anywhere lol
Well based on your statement here, surely the imperfect Campbell can be a solid HC for Miami. 🙄
‘I personally agree with FFR’
oh well, just a warning, it is all down hill from here.
I know right?
LMAO, ya claimed another innocent victim.
LOL, D why would Campbell be qualified for a OC job but not HC right now. Doesn’t make a ton of sense.
He’s already HC here and 3-2.
Because he is familiar with playcalliing and I’m sure has a decent mind for successful offensive play design. He doesn’t however have a lot of ability in game managemen. Rizzi has had to take charge almost every time a ref needs to be challenged or when crucial timeouts etc need to be called

if you dont know the difference from a coordinator jump to HC vs a TE’s coach to HC then there isnt a need to keep up this discussion.
Some guys have it some don’t….the unemployment line is full of them, or they go back to coach in college, HS, or back as asst coaches.
Eric Atherton @PBeatherton Nov 8
Bridgewater and Wallace have zero chemistry. Hard to figure. They just always seem to be on different pages.#Vikings
It’s still Tanny’s fault he could connect deep with Da Kid…..lol
Not hard to figure at all. 😉
Gd also as a set of stages where you build skills to the next one he hasn’t even learned to manage half the team much less the whole team
Well, he was picked to be HC for 12 games at the least…not Rizzi, not Coyle, & not Lazor.
Must have been a reason besides, ‘Hey, lets put the schmuck TE coach in a HC and laugh our asses off everyweek until we got the 1st pick in the draft’.
Mr. T & Ross knew with 12 games left they could possibly get a WC spot or at least compete.
D
but at least look at like this. it is down hill but at the end you will have so much momentum going that you wont simply slide into the grave but hit it full tilt going a 100mph and screaming move over you satanic piece of shit i am running this place now

I don’t think the decision on Campbell as HC can be made right now. I think we’re gonna wait until the end of year.
This was a big win though. It was a signature win against a team that everyone thought we were going to lose.
I agree if we keep campbell there should be changes to both offensive and defensive scheme.
Hey, someone gets it. Right on.
Not right now, but it will have to be made.
Guessing they will want to make it clear by say mid-Dec.
That will let them feel out the big guys out there and be in the top pack.
Also means these next games are real important for Coach Rambo.

Hi getterdone.
My name is stanger.
Welcome to the blog.
Let me tell you what is about…… 🙂
Gotta love the doom n gloom even after a Win on the road….LOL smh
It’s not gloom and doom to call a spade a spade.
Just reality.
Him getting injured is not like saying, “if only so and so had broke that one.”

i heard ISIS on friday night say, “who us? nope we were sleeping but i would check on that QB down in miami. I bet he had something to do with the bombings”
I meant to say couldn’t hit Wallace….but LOL, funny blaming Tanny for terrorism….although Lauren does carry an AR-15 in her trunk, Hmmm. 😯
I think for Campbell to remain as HC he has to go 4-3 minimum the rest of the way.
so 8-8 which means campbell went 7-5. I can see him sticking with a 7-5 record but i bet he won’t be the only one in the running. I bet they’ll go through the full hiring process with interviewing other candidates.
Yeah he’d likely have to layout his blue print for moving forward and what his evaluation of the team is.

not sure where that comes from. i havent seen any doom n gloom.
Beat this turd Sunday & Campbell will be well on his way. 😀
He da Man!
Stanger, so Bradford got hurt, big deal….he wasn’t lighting it up that much before hand, and we lost Wake a few weeks ago, Grimes was out, Aikens got hurt, Jenkins, and on and on, so how am I to feel we got away with one?
He was 19 of 25 for 236 and a TD with a 118 QB rating and Sanchez was tripping his running backs. And for sure the “what if” game can go on and on…….but that’s a pretty big one to play in it.
Because of like three passes.
Rough math — but he still had like a 77% completion rate going. And I’m sure what you saw what the score was when he got hurt.
You guys can argue about Dan Campbell, PFF, the catch rule . . .

Soooooo Coor’s slogan is to have beer for dinner instead of food? (not that I haven’t from time to time, but that is just not good advise or advertising.) LOL
I think they’re trying to say beer is elegant enough to have with a nice dinner, just like a bottle of wine.
I think you owe Donald Trump $1.42 for the use of the word “elegant” I think he has a monopoly on that word after the last debate. Everything from that debate was so elegant…..

———————————
I think we will get tested. Major part of it i think was Jenkins going out. Misi is and has been a liability in coverage. He on his best game is average at best covering TE’s. Sheppard doesnt seem great at it either, and then Jenkins who is our best coverage LB was replaced by a rookie. We tightened up some later int he game so maybe it was just a matter of Hewitt making some adjustments, but yes, i think it exposed a weakness and other teams are going to attack it.
I also agree Albert was uncharacteristically bad, and Turner played the worst of all the OL, but i dont think he was in particular awful either. Those are some brutal DT’s and LB’s they have so its not shocking to me we struggled some, a lot of teams struggle against those guys.
Bradford is awesome! Or was it that no one on defense could find Celek in his invisible uni?
FU……lol.
Point was he’s better than the hotdog guy.
And you want to play what if? How about a 32 yard miss by an ex-Phin kicker in a game we won by one……….maybe he’s still on the payroll. 🙂
Lets not degrade to FU’s please. It’s all good. Glad we won.
I put the lol in after and you know what site we are on. Haven’t said such in earnest in years.
Stanger, the score was 16-13 when Bradford went down and they hadn’t scored on multiple drives. We took the lead on the drive right after he got hurt. Bradford was already folding and getting knocked around.
Good point. Could the concussion have happened earlier?
Possibly but he was definitely getting gun shy and was afraid of Suh. LOL
Trump better not win the republican ticket, that will ensure Hillary is our next president.
THAT, would NOT be elegant!

——————————————-
GD he was chosen because of his cheerleading. He has a firey attitude and he is polar opposite of Philbin. They knew he would bring excitement to the team but they knew, as should we all, that its a pipe dream to think that he salvages the mess our team was in,. What they did know is it wouldnt look at all like the same mess Philbin made, so regaldless of wins or losses, we wouldnt be the same embrassment. This is not a declaration of he deserves to be the next HC and we think he will be, its a declaration of no one else being able to make the team look as grossly different. I think Rizzi wound up being a strong candidate and i think he was damn near the choice. I think the major difference is Rizzi could help Dan with the heavy lifting and Dan meanwhile could keep asses in seats with his attitude.
Im not saying your man crush is shitty coach, im saying i think he is a HC in the making, but i dont think he has made it yet, and as such if he gets the job there will need to be patience and an attitude like we dont care if we postpone the playoffs another year to let him get his feet. I think this not because he sucks, but because he is playing catch up on skills a normal candidate would have earned progressing through the ranks as a assistant, to a position coach, to a coord, to a HC. GD you are being a little M13 about Campbell, but i understand why you like him and i have the optimistic side of me thats pulling for him too.
I hear that Dan Campbell to remain distanced from Philbin wipes his ass with the gum wrappers before leaving them on the field, just for good measure.

LOL — the missing audio was “Ross said it was OK to make that one.” 🙂
On a side note, the Eagles scored their 16 points in the first half in a span of only 4:03 of game clock.
With their first 9 points coming in a span of only 10 seconds.
Bradford was awesome scoring that safety.
Bradford was doing some major acting too. Its almost like they know he is Mr. Glass and have the refs be extra protective with him.

314,165,191 eligible people in the United States and Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump are the best we can come up with?? WTF is wrong with this country and it’s system? Every four years we get to choose the lessor of two evils on election day.
116 oil tankers bombed and destroyed by France air strikes, trucking routes of the roads I would expect is next, leaving 1 or 2 road routes so its easier to destroy their revenue generators. Revenue is going to dry up quickly at this pace
Mike E, I don’t think a republican is winning the presidency anyway. Not until they stop acting like the loony party. Unfortunately more people are okay with socialism than loonyism. LOL
Also I have a feeling after our first president of color, now the people will want a vagina to keep the diversity thing going regardless of who it is. We’re one of a handful of developed countries to not have had a woman in power.
Could be. I was hoping Rubio would win, but it seems as if Trump and Carson are leading. Probably right about the vag though. Liberals seem to have the right strategy, and the Replubican’s are still way too far right for most of America.
Yep! I can’t see Carson winning with all the disingenuous stuff he’s said and he’s way too far religious right for the majority.

Rock
I couldn’t agree more!
Rock, good people who be really good presidential candidates don’t want to go through the nonsense it takes to win it. The first attribute they need is to have a huge ego and talk about how great they are and most good people aren’t like that.
“If you vote for me you’ll feel better just waking up in the morning because I’m that good.” LOL
D, I don’t have a man crush on Campbell. Am I excited about the possibilities, yes. Do I know he came into the spot with no experience as HC? Of course.
But sometimes rookies are good right out of the box if he has it. Now build a great supporting staff around him for 2016 if he can win with these clowns like Lazor and even greener Anarumo (replacing an inexperienced Coyle). That is what I’m saying.
Maybe Campbell goes the way of another TE turned asst coach (not coordinator) turned HC, like a certain coach Ditka. 😀
Least he says he ain’t proud of it. I try not to judge, but even if something is really wrong in your relationship and you end up cheating on your wife……..sleeping with your buddy’s wife is pure selfish betrayal. Lots of women out there.
——————————————-
Simon Cowell had a steamy affair with the wife of his friend Andrew Silverman. Their undercover relationship became public, and Cowell’s life dramatically changed, after it was revealed that the then Mrs. Lauren Silverman was pregnant with his child.
Of the affair that led to his now 21-month-old son, Eric, Cowell candidly says, “I’m not proud of the circumstances. I can’t hold my head up about it. But we have all moved on.”
When people are attracted to each other, morals tend to go out the window.
Think it depends on the person. And again……my main problem here is wife of a good friend. Even if I wanted to cheat…….billions of other women out there.
Mike E, Rubio? So let’s keep voting in establishment guys so nothing will change.
I thought he was gonna be a good one about 2-3 years ago, but he’s flip flopped right into the hands of the elite establishment that represents all that is wrong with the direction this country is going….IMO, of which I’m not alone in. 😉

They ALL do! That’s the problem with the Republican party. They want cookie cutter images of what they think the Republican party should be. Rubio was fine, and he’s still fine, but he, like all the candidates say and do what the party wants them to. That’s the biggest problem that I think they have. They have some more moderate minds, Mitt Romney included in that, but they force them all the way over to the right to conform with that they think the party is. As long as they continue to do that, they will lose.

They all get sucked up by the establishment. They have to lap too many ball sacks to get anything done.
Agree with you both, but that is why guys like Paul & Trump scare the establishment. They refuse to be part of it mostly.
Trump doesn’t need the establishment money. He’s a blow hard asshat yes, but does say the things that are grossly wrong that need to be fixed without dancing around the issue all PC like others do.
Same with Rand Paul who blasted all of them for being war mongers ok with pushing us towards WW3. He’s the only one that said NO on that realm and engaging Russia, etc.
I always fear an outsider candidate will have a hard time getting support from congress.

Maybe I take it personal, but one of my best friends hit on my fairly long-time girl friends. And this was not like some one drunken night thing. When I found out I decided “this is not a person I want in my life.” And that was it.
“one of” my fairly long-time girl friends.
He hit on multiple girlfriends? if so did he struggle to find his own women or did he just like to hit them all?
The actual hook up was with one, but he’d always been real flirty with the women I was with. I put up with it, but this time he took it to the next level. And turns out I was right. Dude ended up with three broken engagements and three divorces on his record. Haven’t heard how his fourth marriage is working out, but nonetheless not thinking the woman is lucky like Landry in the endzone off a tip. 🙂

oh is that what that was. i just thought he was showing what he ate for lunch
The Dolphins run defense entered Sunday 31st in the league and, without Cameron Wake, a pass rush that trended down there, too. So how did they shut down the 10th-ranked rushing team in Philadelphia to a 2.3-yard average per carry and knock out their quarterback, Sam Bradford? Well, start with Ndamukong Suh being a one-man force out there. Start, too, with the Dolphins taking advantage of some trouble on the Eagles line. Left tackle Jason Peters was out, so right tackle Lane Johnson moved to the left. Sound familiar? Sound like the kind of stuff the Dolphins line has had to endure for a couple of years? Then the Dolphins took advantage of what they obviously saw as a weakness in center Jason Kelce, as Suh and Earl Mitchell shared taking advantage of him.
“If you want a quote, here it is: That was the worst game of my entire career,” Kelce said afterward. “Three penalties. F—— bad snap. F—, just a terrible blocking performance. I’ve got to get it corrected. But other than that, that’s about all I have to say.”
When’s the last time an opposing offensive lineman said that after playing the Dolphins?
You guts didn’t like that shit in a delicate ass sauce right around lunch time? LOL
Apparently your guts did.
LOL, I saw that right after posted.
I think Rubio is still the odds on favorite to with the nomination, and likely the presidency after. He isnt my primary choice but i do think he’s the most electable and one that once the field narrows is going to be the one most people migrate from the other candidate to him. He will start climbing in poll numbers when it starts getting towards crunch time.
Likewise Trumps numbers will likley hold/decline as he has a strong set of supporters but being a polarizing candidate you likely love him or hate him, so those people who leave other candidates wont be joining him.
Carson was my candidate until he started going wackado and making claims that cant be substantiated. Im not sure these arent just smear tactics but whatever it is i think he may be toast already. I kinda liked the idea of he joining with Ted Cruz who is very different than he and that would make them a pretty solid P/VP pair.
These days im leaning towards Fiarino, as my favorite, followed by Rubio. She was always a close second potential candidate for me behind Carson. I dont see Ted Cruz as much of chance to win the primary but he likely makes a strong VP candidate. Fiarino has more balls than most the other candidates put together, and she seems very genuine to me. Rubio is going to be her obstacle but i feel she if she gets past the primary, beats Hillary. Rubio i think also beats Hillary, the rest probably wont.
Sounds like our politics are similar. And from a practical standpoint…….any GOP candidate who is actually going to be Pres has to in the Latino vote. Any who want to go anti-immigration are dinasours, even if they don’t know it yet.

They were discussing how he may have been too much X & O type a guy when that kind of responsibility should be left for coordinators. That the HC in general should be a great motivator first and not worry about the details as the coordinators are suppose to be.
I agree with that.
Anyway, if the Saints do part with Sean Payton after the season (I don’t think they will but stranger things happen every year), then perhaps Dan Campbell may have a role with him since he served under him as a player for 6 straight seasons (3 in NYC & 3 in Dallas before Payton took the job in NOLA).
Yesterday they were mentioning on twitter that the Saints were planning to fire Rob Ryan….I think he’s been dealt a bad defensive roster there for his style of play calling that I think would work well in Miami.
There will be options.
Another interesting play for Campbell would be to seek something such as the University of Miami HC position…That’s a stretch of course but an interesting one that probably should be explored.
That’s interesting and I agree on the X’s & O’s comment.
First thing Campbell said after getting Sauders to help Lazor & ditching Coyle for Anarumo was that he’d have input in game plans & in game calls at times, but basically leave the play calling on both sides to his Coordinators, not constantly be micromanaging them.
As I’ve said, hope we keep the young Buck & build some talented Coordinators around him for 2016 & beyond.
GDP,
Love the game locker room speech he gave after the Eagles win…
“THE TASTE IS IN YOUR MOUTH AGAIN…WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ON WEDNESDAY? EAT!!!!!!!!!”
Hell Yeah!
I’d like to see him bring in a guy like TCU’s Gary Patterson as our DC. Not likely to happen, but that’s the type of defensive mind we need for the new NFL type spread offenses.
you sure he wasn’t talking about Monica Lewinsky ?
There were three or four series in this game that were just fucking ridiculous. I remember one series with us backed into our endzone, here we are in shotgun, same for the fumble/safety. Same for short yardage packages and redzone where we line up in shotgun and straight pocket pass which is not Tanny’s strength. They hate the roll-out/bootleg for some reason.
———
The guys on TV were saying this same stuff about rolling out more often…
A scout I follow on Twitter responded to the safety by saying “You are at the 1 and you call a play with a 5 step drop?”

It’s cool — just think I developed some expertise that might be of use to Rock.
yeah me toooooooooo.
hey rock, the hell with needing someone else. learn to be happy by yourself and you never have to listen to someone making you unhappy again.
I’m out….enjoy your night 🙂
For fantasy purposes, I need Nate Washington to go off…well, to do 5 pts better than Cincy’s Marvin Jones
Hey now, I got Marvin Jones….lol
‘Same for short yardage packages and redzone where we line up in shotgun and straight pocket pass which is not Tanny’s strength. They hate the roll-out/bootleg for some reason.’
that is my biggest issue with the play calling. they always avoid what tanny’s strength is and go to what his weaknesses are. i got it the first couple of years trying to make him better at it, but but now it isnt going to happen. just go with what he does best.
I have been calling for it since before they fired Philbin. Common factor…Lazor.
Hey now, that’s what I’ve been saying all along. This team had probably the 2 worst Coordinators in the NFL, and still have 1 in Lazor.
Get Campbell real Coordinators. 🙂
Worst case on those bootlegs is Tanny can take off if there isnt anything downfield. He would have TE’s crossing to hold the LB’s he would have the DL pretty much sealed off opposite his rollout and he would have the safetys in check keeping Landry under wraps. He would have probably 3 options short, middle and occasional deep when they start to bite on the short game, he also would have the option to run and pick up a few yards on occasion.
I could see something similar to what Al suggested, but HC’s a lot of times are particular to their staff. I could see though Payton bringing Dan Campbell back to be OC, but i think if he really wants a shot at HC or OC he needs to shit can Lazor and start being more involved in the play calls. Lazor is making him look bad in both the capacity as HC and OC.
i agree lozor needs to go, but i dont think the reason he is here is dan’s fault. nothing to base this on but my opinion but i think he was told or advised to keep him around. that firing both coordinators at the same time would be too much to over come. which i am sure it would have been.
Probably would have been but he could shift the responsibility to the play calling to Saunders. I would just more control what plays he calls. Firing him is my own person desire, though im pretty sure he isnt helping much so cutting him loose or just bumping him back to QB coach might not hurt much,
Victory Monday! I have no earthly clue how we won that game yesterday. Offense struggled again. Costly penalties and mistakes. Our defense was completely confused and unprepared most of the game. Somewhat understandable considering the number of rookies or backups in there, but they failed to even line up properly most downs. I’d be even more disturbed if I was a Philly fan trying to understand how they couldn’t score against us. Sanchez is the gift that keeps on giving, I guess.
Campbell is a stud, but he’s not ready for this. I’d be surprised if we win many more games from what I saw yesterday.
Bear in mind we were on the tail end of a 3 game road trip…that’s brutal in the NFL regardless of record, even if you were undefeated.
I’ll judge the team now that we got 5 home games of the remaining 7.
Case Keenum starting QB for the Rams, Foles benched. Somewhere M13 is chanting Case’s name.
He’s that midget Baylor QB isnt he?
I think houston
Keenum was a Houston Cougar QB in college yes, he succeeded Kevin Kolb.
D, I agree about moving Tanny out more, but that can’t be a constant as it generally cuts the field in half. I and others have been calling for more snaps under center and we saw that a lot more yesterday finally. Sometime even we saw an I formation. Hope they keep phasing more under center snaps to keep the shotgun formations more a surprise than the repetitive norm.
Thank god for younger women with daddy issues.

Saints fired Rob Ryan as @alexmarvez reported they would. Dennis Allen is Saints new defensive coordinator, per @mortreport.
I was shocked his defenses the past 3+ years have sucked so bad. The Titans, Giants & Redskin game really took the cake.
From what I hear on sports radio, they are not blaming Wallace for the connection issues here in MN. They kept saying Wallace is getting open, and it’s more a function of how Norv is asking Teddy to play and not take big risks. The times he does throw to him; Teddy has been missing him more often than not. Most folks really aren’t blaming Wallace. They like both at this point though.

Peterson is carrying that team so far…behind a makeshift OL. I like the way Zimmer has coached this team so far. They have some studs on defense. Linval Joseph(wish we’d signed) is starting to dominate games. Harrison Smith might be the best safety in the game. Barr and Kendericks both look like they are going to be good to great. Floyd keeps flashing but still can’t really be counted on consistently. They are young and playing well already. They could be really good in a few years if they can shore up the CB position and safety opposite Smith.
Yet Teddy has no problem hitting the rook Diggs down field, Hmmm.

I made no comment. Just sharing information. Lol
getter,
ok i can finally change your mind about campbell. chris ber’fat’man just said ‘they came from behind to beat philly, give campbell the job’ nuff said
Oh noooo, not the dreaded Berman curse.

HELL of a hit!!!!
That was a well-timed, totally legal hit. Nothing dirty, just great timing and execution
What made it so good for me was how head’s up it was when he realized he could leave his man and become a FS at that point…yes timing & awareness was everything BOOM!
lol at this crap called the nfl. within 3 minute of the game i think they have already had 3 penalties if not 4. it has become a 3 team game. they home team, they visiting team and the refs team. well unless it is the pats, then it is just the patsrefs vs whoever
WYOMING: SAW YOUR 2:54 post with the blonde and the Coors delivery truck. Since the blonde appears to be about half the age of my oldest daughter, I’ll leave her for for you. TWO Colorado Kool-Aids for Great Grandpa, please!
Tickets in the lower portions of Sun-Baked Stadium START at nearly $300 EACH for both the Cowboys game and the Giants Monday Night game. At $600 for the pair, I think I’ll be a seller for the Monday Night game b/c I’d need to take BOTH Monday AND Tuesday off, a no-no in December. However, me and Mrs. OD WILL BE THERE for the match-up of the 2-7 Cowboys and the 4-5 Dolphins this Sunday. We’ll see if NOT selling the Cowboy tix was a smart move.
OD, all Phins have to do is beat this tool. No Prob!
I hope we see that tool on Sunday, but we all no better. Dallas looses all games without him, and we of course get the first game with him back.
Pig, you really don’t know how the Fins won this game? The D was balling and Suh led the chase. If this was a SB Suh would’ve been the unanimous choice for MVP.
He made a lot of plays alps day
See below
We were just outgained significantly in terms of yards
This game is the biggest piece of shit game I’ve tried to watch this yr.
How many guys have the Fins taken out this yr? There’s been plenty, when the D wants to play… Key word wants.
OD
I’m not sure the better half will let me take you up on the first part of your offer!
But any time your close by Houston, there’s a Coors regular in the fridge for you!
OUTSTANDING, my man!! I’ll consume one in your honor at the Cowboy’s game this Sunday!

IS ANYBODY worried that the Bungels will run the table??? –NO, I didn’t think so!

Me and Mrs. OD saw several Miami-Cincy games during our 16 year exile to Ohio. Miami won EVERY ONE OF THOSE CONTESTS, including Shula Bowl I and Shula Bowl II We were also there to see Jason Taylor score a touchdown as time expired in the first half at Paul Brown Stadium, which is a vast improvement over Riverfront Stadium.

Out for tonight!
There’s only 1 undefeated team ever
