It was a blast. I’m having fun again. We haven’t had to sit through a loss in 5 weeks. Regardless of what happens the rest of this season, I’m excited for the future. I now believe we can win a championship with Tanny. I like the feel and identity this team is developing. I think we have coaches for the first time in ages. Let’s get some LBs DBs, and a TE or two next offseason and make a run! Woohoo!

you just have to know there is something new in the air when a giant fucking monkey is making sense

i love this state farm commercial with the packers and ‘no one comes into this house’ aaahhhhh well yeah they do and they eat all your food drink all your liquor and dont flush your toilets.

    Herd:
Albert hurt his wrist. He was doubtful to come back. After having it taped up he was back out there playing in the second half

  4. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Is that 4 games in a row without Tannehill throwing a pick? (there was an almost again today)

Ryan Tannehill’s a warrior. Just struggled to button his shirt.

  6. New Age's avatar New Age says:

Really good game. We had 7 of our 11 penalties in last 16 minutes of the game. Glad Rivers loves the aqua and white too. Tried to listen to updates on the radio but was too painful listening to guys desperately trying to sell how the NFL was back I know this is their living but it was really irritating. They even tried to say Cowboys game was craziest finish It was a fantastic ending but I think it’s crazier to finish with a blocked XP ran back for two than Zeke running over another bad run defense.

Im glad we are doing well but worry about this Rams team. They aren’t good but they do have a great defense and RB. Hope we avoid the trap game and continue to improve.

I really like Williams in the backup and FB role. He is also a really good ST player

lmao al suchaels just said when you think about new england and their great sports history of winning and named the red sucks. aaahhhhh dumb shit when you take a 100 plus years or how ever long it was to win a world series you dont have a great history

Im glad we are doing well but worry about this Rams team. They aren’t good but they do have a great defense and RB.

I think I’ve heard this before this year….Maybe EACH of the last four wins.

  14. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

lmao only in new england the refs wait an hour and half in the pile up so the rb can move the ball forward to call it a td. any other team and they just call it down

  15. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Williams is the unsung hero of the team these last few weeks. Ajayi has gotten most of the praise (for good reason) but Williams has been a big playmaker these past few wins.

  16. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

i will say this about williams. i have never liked him and forever have question how he is even on the team, but of late he has been really good. kind of like some others on offense. it is just so amazing what good oline play can do, i mean who would have ever of thought that

  17. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

    Ryan Tannehill vs San Diego
    17/24 70.83% completion percentage
    240 yds …. 14 yds per completion
2 TDs, no INTs, no lost fumbles
    103.6 passer rating
    10-yard average per pass attempt
Took only 1 sack and got up time after time from getting hit after throwing.

SPEAKING OF USING A CAST TO HIT SOMEONE WITH (FFR,823 PM), Dolphins’ guard Bob Kuechenberg bludgeoned several Raider defensive linemen with his cast in the AFC Championship Game just prior to Super Bowl VIII. Not expecting Albert to equal Kooch’s achievements in that regard!
    ————–
A CLASSIC VICTORY today, to say the least!! How many times over the last several years have the Dolphins GIVEN-AWAY games that were winnable in the final quarter? WHAT a GREAT,GREAT WIN!! It sure looks like, after many failures, management has FINALLY found us a really good head coach!

  19. herdfan's avatar herdfan says:

Is it going to be Keenum or Goff next week for the Rams? Inquiring minds want to know!

    Only two wildcards.

    Oakland Raiders 7 – 2
    Denver Broncos 7 – 3

And oddly enough think this team better than ones who cam close in years past before the late season fold. But heck — that is a good sign for the future. We got ourselves a HC.

  24. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    rock,

just stop that dude. i mean you have the brains of a rock. it never has anything to do with the oline it is always on the qb and how he holds the ball too long or cant move in the pocket. now stop trying to make people think the oline has something to do with them playing better

  27. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

i will say this though, i even think t hill is playing better too. i think all the credit of this winning streak is team wide, especially the oline but i even see him sliding in the pocket to avoid the rush like he never has before

i dont doubt the improved oline play has helped his pocket presence but even the times he had before he still didnt have it or move in it like he has been the last few weeks.

i had said forever when all the talk was just how bad he was that it wasnt just him it was the whole team. and i have to admit not only has the whole team picked it up but i think his play has gotten better too

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

And for good reason…..makes it tough for us to get in. Good thing is that I think the three top teams will be playing each other. Best hope for us is that one dives big. Could see either the Chiefs or Raiders doing that.

  42. Randy's avatar Randy says:

15-33. That is the combined record of the team’s we’ve betean. Trap game? Come on now. There should be no such thing for this team. We need to focus on getting better week to week. There’s still a lot of work to be done.

  43. Ken's avatar Ken says:

FFR our OL is playing so well since our starting 5 got healthy. He won win it but Tunsil is my rookie of the year. He won’t win it Dak or Zelenograd on Dallas will but he should be right up there with them. He has changed how we play this game. We are so much more physical than we have been in years past

  44. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    ken,

he has really helped this team. but i am going to also give some of the improved play credit to the coaches too. we are always so fast to blame them for everything they deserve some credit too for the improved play.

    —————

” What does it mean when Adam Gase is called a good play-caller? Here’s an example: He saw something during a week of film study against San Diego’s defense to set up a third-quarter touchdown. At the last second on a third-and-2 play at the Chargers’ 18-yard line, Damien Williams went wide to receiver. This is where the film study came into play. Gase must have known San Diego linebacker Kyle Emanuel would go wide with him (perhaps for Chargers defenses inside the 20). That’s the kind of mistmatches good offenses find. Tannehill threw a perfect pass into the end zone to Williams, who beat Emanuel by a step. Williams had no touchdowns his first two seasons. He has three this year. Gase has found a use for him.”

i still dont get the rules. i thought the rule on kicking a fg or extra point is a defender can only jump straight up, but in the broncos game he hurdled the center to block that kick. so what are the rules or since it was a darling team they can get away with that.

I need to get some sleep but a couple of thoughts on today’s win. First Tannehill may have played his best game. He made 3 crazy good throws. The TD to Still, the TD to Williams and the 56 yarder to Parker were world class throws. His 18 yard scramble for a first down where he concussed the defender was also a world class play.

The second thing is we are fun to watch again. We have won 4 in a row. We have long TD passes, long TD runs, special teams scoring and defensive scores. It’s great to watch. I can’t wait for next week.
