I hate rooting for the jets.. But go jets 😬
FFR:
To win 6 in a row is not just one player it is improvement from the whole team but I do think Tannehill has improved as part of the general improvement the whole team has made

I agree with this. His pocket “clock” in his head has improved.
i think not just that, his movement in the pocket has seemed to improve too.
Not having to run for his life as soon as the ball is snapped has helped his trust in the line to give him time

And I agree they need some more defensive players. They are not going to get them this year, so I think winning builds confidence…building blocks.
i agree with that. winning always helps the confidence of the players. i just want dominance. not saying they arent potentially headed there but i am just tired of waiting
ken,
i agree with they whole team improving and i think no were more then the play of the oline.

yeah but just do what i do, dont root for the jets just root against the cheats
We need our OL healthy for next week
😉

We need our OL healthy for next week
and what are the chances of that? anyone know?
Darn if they didn’t have to make it exciting at the end. That’s five straight like that.
toba
i am not smart enough to know why it has improved so i will just agree with you as to why his pocket presence has improved.
besides if i did tell you a different reason i would have to hear for the rest of the year you apologizing all the time
Barring a tie we should be the 6th seed after this weekend
FFR:
I believe Tunsil should be back by next week and hopefully we get one and maybe even both Pouncey and Albert back next week
Stadium almost full today, and not many Niner fans. Funny how winning gets people to show up.
Sounded pretty loud too. Drowned out the ref on a couple occasions
And Tannehill was trying to quiet them at one point we were on offense.
Part of what you get with a full stadium against a team that doesn’t travel well.
And boom Patriots tie the game
Fuck Them … 😎
Games didn’t fall our way this week. Five teams with six wins (although either the Steelers or Ravens will win the AFC North).
But either KC or Denver will lose and that is all we need for the 6 seed. We will be in control of our own destiny
Imagine that…….in a playoff spot with five left. I’m going with Denver tonight. KC’s remaining games are tougher.
so is the cheats a good team cause they are or are the a good team cause they are never penalized and get every break from the refs.
speaking of which, has anyone ever seen a game where every critical close play gets over turned in the wrong way like the day against the fins
Phindog says:
November 27, 2016 at 5:37 pm
Fuck Them … 😎
why would you want to do something their qb would love so much
Cam playing like shit today
NE missing FG at end of half. All tied up at the half
i would feel so much better about the fins if they just had an elite qb like cam newton
ken,
i think you meant this year and not today
Well in particular today
So my kids can’t decide on what kind of pizza so I’ve ordered from two different places. I’m thinking of it as a little race to see what gets here first.
Sounds like a law suit waiting to happen

two pizza’s pretty sure i will be getting there first
It was ugly but I’m really happy about Tannehill. He looked really good all game. The playcalling didn’t but he escaped the pocket, threw some really nice balls, and put the offense on his back most of the day. If Parker could have stayed in bounds on those two throws….he’s so talented when healthy.
It’s a W when we had 3 of our starting OL out. I will take that every time

You’ve pretty much captured my home environment right there.
LOL
Tanny’s quarterback rating was 130.6 today.
Wow!!!!
just Wow.
new age
i agree about t hill. saw something today i am not sure we have ever seen. with a 24-14 lead he leads a scoring drive to go up 31-14 and what should have just been a score that put the game ways. instead the def does what it always does and shits the bed
My big concern today was the D. 475 yards just doesn’t cut it. Yeah Kaep is a special runner, but have a feeling we will be seeing more designed QB runs down the road.
You can just see Tannehill figuring out how to make this Gase offense work and Gase figuring out how to use Tannehill and everybody else on the team at the same time.
the officiating in the cheat jets game is just horrible. why even make the cheats play the game, just award them home field advantage thru out the playoffs. making them play and then giving them every call questions the integrity of the league
Sounds like Parker will play next week. We need 2/3 of the injured OL back too.
We need 2/3 of the injured OL back too.
i agree with that. they need to be able to run the ball and keep the def off the field if they cant this crappy d will give up 700 yards to flacco
Yeah we had trouble running, but the Niners were stacking the box big time. Daring us to pass.
Rob
Most playoff teams have shitty wins along the way. It’s the teams outside of the playoffs that have too many shitty losses, and that’s the truth.

Rob

and that is my point, i dont care if they are like most playoff teams, i want them to be a dominate playoff team. for me it just isnt enough to get there, i want them to get there with a realistic shot at winning it all
yes but this is a start in the right direction… Gase’s first year of culture change.
FFR:
I will start with us making the playoffs then I will worry about how deep we can go. Making the playoffs would be major progress for this franchise
Yeah we had trouble running, but the Niners were stacking the box big time. Daring us to pass.
Reply
So we did.
Big Time.
Tannehill said, “They decided to force us to pass to win, so that is what we did.”
Jets just took lead I think pending replay
J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!
Break out the butt fumble t shirt
Ken says:

Jets just took lead I think pending replay
funny how that was such an obvious td yet the refs called it incomplete
The scariest thing about how good Tannehill was today was that his 2 best throws were the ones to Parker that got overturned
ken and naples
i am not saying this team isnt headed in the right direction i am just saying i am tired of waiting and not all go ga over them still being mediocre at best. i dont think after a decade plus i am wrong for being out of patience with this team
FFR:
I hear you. My feeling right now is they are winning and they are fun to watch which they haven’t been for years. So I am enjoying this right now
Rob
Very little separates what you would call dominant teams and other teams. We’re playing well enough to win 6 games in a row, and that’s the important thing. If we can get our O-line healthy, all 5 guys, I think we can beat anyone. Seriously.
Ken says:

not to me the scariest thing about thill today was making sure to get out of his house before he got back home.
Bad Master
mike
i disagree with you there. a lot is different from a dominate team and this dolphin team. a dominate team would not have to come down to the last play when winning 31-14 with about 10 minutes
Enjoy the win !!! I know I am….
how in the world does a guy catch a pass at about 2:12 left in the game and then the clock ticks down to 1:58………oh wait never mind….stupid me,……it was the patriots giving the jets less time to come back.
Phindog says:

go ahead. i have no idea why my comments prevent any of you from enjoying the win. i dont hate that they won,, i am just saying this team is far from enjoyable for me. i am not asking anyone else to feel like i feel.
Well Pats will survive and get the W in NJ
and the refs wi…..i meant the cheats win another one
cant wait to here how the 49ers lost this game on sunday night football.
I am enjoying the win. This winning thing has it all over losing.
Fuck you Jets
Yeah, that game was fun to watch when the Patriots were losing.
i am not sure what is easier. understanding women or college rankings
USF is 25 in one poll and 23 in the other. however temple is playing in the conference championship and beat usf but they are not ranked. makes no sense
Rankings are a popularity contest. Some basis in fact but you always see teams that have lost games ranked higher than others that haven’t.
wow the fins got a whole 1 play of highlights. they are moving up in the world

yep why i have always said college ball championships are nothing more then a competition and not and actual sport. if some one else picks the winner based on how pretty they look it is not a sporting even but rather nothing more then a beauty pageant. might as well call the miss America pageant a sporting event
I hear those girls are pretty competitive.
I hear those girls are pretty.
(There. I fixed it for you.)
whew that was close, wasnt sure if to go for the remote and change the tv just throw a shoe thru it so i didnt have to hear that country music whore tonight
LOL I know right?
at least Faith Hill’s version rocked a little.
I also miss Faith Hill herself though.
She seemed so pure and good.

yeah, now if they will only add topless jello wrestling then it would be a real sport

#Dolphins fans may want to root for the #Chiefs tonight. According to @ESPNStatsInfo, a KC win gives Miami the sixth seed over the #Broncos.
I think we are 6 seed no matter who wins
That is what i thought too.
naples
i so hate the opening. it is football not nascar. but i will give you that, faith hill didnt want me to throw shit thru my tv like that other skank
According to @ESPNStatsInfo, a KC win gives Miami the sixth seed over the #Broncos.
no thanks, i will just root for the time when the fins dont need other teams to help get them in the playoffs
Somebody’s got to lose, why not go with the one that works for you.
Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley 3h3 hours ago
Ryan Tannehill’s season passer rating is now up to 94.7, which would be the best of his career.
Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley 3h3 hours ago
Good news on DeVante Parker: Dolphins do not believe his back injury is overly serious. Good chance he plays against the Ravens.

cause i dont care. if your team is so bad you need to root for other teams to win i just dont care
Yeah but this team isn’t ‘so bad’. The ‘so bad’ teams are out of it by now and it doesn’t matter.
It’s just that football season is so short, you can do that, and you always need help because you don’t play everybody or anywhere near everybody.
Even if you are at the top, you need other teams to beat the teams you don’t play, or several teams would end up 16-0.
I tried to type out this very idea and gave up. lol
yep sure…… i am sure the cheats just sit around hoping teams beat the fins so they can get into the playoffs

your opinion. my opinion is if you need other teams to get you in the playoffs then you dont belong there
Will someone in this game please score . We can’t have this game end in a tie
I was just thinking the same thing
At least KC has a 2 score lead. Might be all that is necessary in this one
We had 30 seconds of highlights on the NFL Network. They were so hyping the Panthers Raiders game as the matchup of 2 great young QBs. Cam sucked ass today and that is what they are hyping?
Alright back to work tomorrow I need my beauty rest. Peace
I need my ugly rest. Driving nearly 600 miles to see game (and cheer like crazy) took a bit out of this old fart. Could you hear the crowd on television??
JUST GOT BACK TO TAMPA SUBURBS after another scintillating game at Hard Head Stadium. To say that Young Stanger, your’s truly and my pals were “entertained” would be an understatement. So far, the Fins are undefeated in games attended by the two of us! –Will talk more tomorrow about what we saw. But here’s two things. 1) Tannehill cool under pressure and decisive with his passes, for the most part. 2) Colin Kaepernick put on quite a performance for his 1 and 10 team. Niners certainly didn’t play like a team that’s lost 10 straight!
—————
We really need at least one of our injured three O-Line starters back in the lineup for the Ravens game!!! Guessing Ravens will be favored over the Fins in this one.
OD:
We could absolutely hear the crowd on the television. It was great to hear
STOP TYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably gonna be the national televised game next week
Somebody had better win this game
Gaines is th weak link of the KC defense
Whatever happ Ned to CJ Anderson
Knee injury on IR. Possibly back week 16
Denver defense with their second chance to win the game.
These pricks are going to end up tied, smh
I know we stay in 7th with a tie
But in the grand scheme of things ties don’t usually favor teams battling for playoff spots
So it might be a good season 4-5 weeks from now
We will be a half game behind 2 teams
Rather than tied with one and 1 game behind 1 one
And they play the a half other again on xmas
Wow.
Woohoo! Dolphins in the 6th spot going into week 13.
Fir sure ?? Im waiting on official word before they go off air
We have one more conference win which is the 2nd factor after head-to-head, so as of right now, we are number 6
Did he call that?
whew
and KC is the one we wanted right? cuz Denver has a harder remaining schedule.
????
And there it is !! Woohoo !!
So lets hope for Oakland to run the table
https://twitter.com/theflyingpig44/status/803108831953899522
Lmao
Pouncey, Albert, Tunsil. Hopefully at least one of these ironmen can make their way back to the field for the stretch run.
Was a great day to be a Fins Fan again. Have a great night y’all. Bring on the Ravens. Nevermore
When we beat them, it’ll be poetic justice.
VICTORY MONDAY!! I still have not gotten used to this!
Not a darn thing about us on NFL.com except for this one tweet from Rich Eisen way down at the bottom…
The @MiamiDolphins are your current 6-seed through 12 weeks. Your defending champs are 7th.
SURE SIGN that Miami-area fans are jumping on the Fins bandwagon: About 40% of the Lazy Boy Seats ($1,000-$2,000 per ticket per game) WERE OCCUPIED for this game, an all-time record! Also, about 80% of the other seats were occupied, another uptick!! Made for a noisy environment, to say the least.
—————–
The Dolphins probably can NOT defeat the Ravens in Baltimore UNLESS at least ONE of our INJURED 3 O-LINE STARTERS RETURNS THIS COMING SUNDAY. No holes for running backs to run through against the Niners, even though SF is ranked LAST in the NFL in stopping the run. The Ravens have a much better run defense than do the Niners, so running the ball is going to be VERY difficult. We need a BALANCED OFFENSE! But this lineup of mostly backup O-Linemen is NOT going to get the job done in Baltimore. And, obviously, we’ll need Devante Parker in the lineup, too.
Next Sunday is the first “Most important Sunday” of the season. (followed by the next week, the next week and two more next weeks.)
Dolphins are 5-1 at home this season
2 home games left
Final game against cheats
And 2 weeks vs AZ
It would be nice to win both those games and finish 7-1
Not a darn thing about us on NFL.com except for this one tweet from Rich Eisen way down at the bottom…
Here is what Peter King had to say about the game…..
• Another loss for the 1-10 Niners on Sunday (31-24 at Miami), but Colin Kaepernick was terrific in defeat, amassing his first 400-total-yard game in three seasons. Chip Kelly had to watch this game and think, “Maybe this guy can win again, and maybe we’ll be a match.” Kaepernick threw for 296 yards, ran for 134, accounted for three touchdowns and generally looked like the kind of threat that made Ron Jaworski say three years ago he could be an all-timer. Kaepernick will need to be consistent in the last month, but suddenly his Niners future is a story instead of a fait accompli.
How about the Dolphins finding a way to win 6 straight? What about the WINNING QB who had a 130.6 passer rating? What about the Defense that found a way to kill the final drive to save the game?
Chip Kelly insanity + political Kaepernick = better national story
Honestly next week if we can get to 8 – 4 we will be tough to ignore
I am very happy with Coach Gase and how he has handled this team.
The Dolphins missed three starting offensive linemen – Mike Pouncey, Branden Albert and Laremy Tunsil. San Francisco had the 25th ranked pass defense and a decent defensive front. Plus, the 49ers were playing a lot of eight-, nine- and 10-man fronts to counter the Dolphins running game. So? So Gase stuck with the running game even though it wasn’t productive beyond opening the passing game. On a late, second-quarter 84-yard touchdown drive, the Dolphins ran six of 11 plays. For the half, they ran 16 times for 65 yards and passed 17 times for 154 yards. After three quarters, they’d run 20 times and passed 24. Jay Ajayi had 13 carries for 19 yards. But Gase stuck with it and was rewarded somewhat when Ajayi ran for 18 yards early in the fourth quarter. The main thing is San Francisco asked Gase to become a one-dimensional team and he refused. He stayed as balanced as you can be.
Boy, the AFC west is really fucking up the AFC standings this year. The Dolphins currently sit in the final wild card spot at #6 but have a better record than two of the division winners.
When the Dolphins beat the Ravens next week we will STILL be in the #6 spot and the Ravens will swap spots with the Steelers who will still have a worse record (and a H2H loss against us)
Hey everyone, pretend the Dolphins lost yesterday and get on here and blog damn it! there is still plenty to complain about!
From PFF’s top 10 players of the week this week.
7. Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins
Miami’s rejuvenation during its six-game win streak has been largely on the shoulders of running back Jay Ajayi, but in the past three weeks Tannehill has produced two of the best games of his career and thrown some spectacular passes. This week he posted a passer rating of 130.6, completing 66.7 percent of his passes and throwing three scores without being intercepted. When kept clean in the pocket, his passer rating was 150.3, and the 49ers were only able to generate pressure on eight of his 34 dropbacks.
