Carr not going to locker room. Being driven out back where presumably he’s headed to the hospital to assess damage.

  3. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Carr going down makes it a lot less likely the broncos lose next week. Let’s go chiefs!!!

  4. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

I really thought we were done today. This team has shown toughness time and time again this season. I can’t believe the way we are winning these games; it’s truly remarkable. Enjoy this guys (and girl), as we all know it doesn’t happen often.

    • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Resiliency is what this team has in spades. Different players evey week stepping up. I cant believe franks made a 55 yd fg

    • olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

You’re right, Brian! Our 15 year winless streak in the playoffs may be coming to an end!!–Enjoy the moment, Dolfans!

  6. drg's avatar drg says:

This team is unbelievable. Never thought they had a chance to sweep both Jets and Bills. They proved me wrong. Lippett and Howard are quickly improving. Offense will be back and better next year. Defense is fixable for sure. More than anything else, we have a coaching staff that can motivate and create a winning atmosphere. Also doesn’t suck that they clearly know how to game plan an offense.

    Merry freaking Christmas guys!

  7. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

    There you go Bookman!

    Within 3!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

The Miami Dolphins are a minimum of 10 win team. YEAH!

  9. olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

The loss of David Carr to injury sure makes New England the heavy favorites to advance to the Super Bowl. But, assuming Carr is done for the playoffs, every team that advances to the playoffs must feel like they have a shot to get to the AFC Championship Game. Dolphin fans take heart. We have a shot!!

  10. BoulderPhinfan's avatar BoulderPhinfan says:

We did miss maxwell today. Howard showed he was a rookie against watkins.

#Raiders coach Jack Del Rio says QB Derek Carr has a broken fibula and will have surgery tomorrow. He’s out indefinitely. Crushing.

  12. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

What was the flipping deal with the train noise in the stadium every1st and 3rd down we were on offense. It created problems for us. How is it legal for them to pump in that loud of a noise?

    • naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

There was like a train whistle for when Moore was trying to hear the play being called in.That is “extraneous noise” and is illegal.

  27. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

The Miami Dolphins have the fourth most wins in the AFC and are still not guaranteed a playoff spot.

  28. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Houston over Cincy… Houston over Tenn (without Mariotta)

    Ravens over Pitts.

Miami at Houston for WC round. That’s a team we can get past.

  29. son of a son of a shula's avatar son of a son of a shula says:

The Chiefs are one of those choker teams they’ll lose tomorrow and then NE becomes a must win. It’d be nice to have it settled and be able to rest some guys.

  30. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

    Ideal playoff seedings, imo:
    1. Oakland 13-3
    2. Pats 13-3

    3. Pitts 11-5
    4. Houston 10-6
    5. Miami 11-5
    6. KC 11-5

Miami would be at Houston, then if KC beats Pitts ..at Oakland while KC at NE

Finally, Mia hosts KC …. 🙂 I did say “ideal”.

  32. Ken's avatar Ken says:

Just back from Christmas Eve celebration but I am still stoked about beating the Bills. I have no illusions that we are going far but I am just happy to be relevant at this time of year. Go KC

  33. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I’m so happy we won today. Some really bad injuries occurred today. Tyler Lockett, Derek Carr, Marcus Mariota. Gotta stay healthy. So big that we have Matt Moore. It’s HUGE. Think of the Raiders with Matt McGloin. Not the same. No knock on Tannehill, but how much better could he have played the last 2 games? Moore stepped it up big time.

1-4 to 10-5 record is astonishing. It is a testament to every player on this squad. They have the never-say-die attitude and just find a way to win!!

I just wish they would make the games a little less exciting. Houston Texans style blow out every once in awhile would be great thank you

Adam Beasley ‏@AdamHBeasley 2h2 hours ago
If the Patriots gain 345 yards next Sunday, Dolphins will have surrendered the most yards in a season in franchise history (6,070, 1986)

  44. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

    Merry Christmas everyone….

Son and Bookman i picked Washington yestetday, so yes i am still alive. With losses by San Diego,Tennessee and Seattle (sorry) pool is down to 7 , 6 If Baltimore wins today …i have Baltimore over Cincy cued up for next week. Fingers crossed.

    Go KC and Go Baltimore.

  45. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

We won with a 3rd string center and back-up QB. That’s the brains of the offense right there.

  46. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

    whacky stats from this season;

The Bill have scored the most TD’s in the AFC this year with with 48
The Dolphins are tied for 6th with 43 TD’s

The Dolphins have FOUR (4) net points on the year. That is an average win margin of .2666 points per game….

The Dolphins and NE are both 4-1 in the division going into next weeks game

Can Gase and the Team pull off two more wins against NE this year?

As it stands right now (assuming a Den loss) we would play NE next week, Pittsburgh the first WC game in Pitt and then the first seed (who plays the lowest seed winner of the WC round) who at this point is NE in their house.

Can we win against NE, Pitt, NE to get to the AFC Championship game?

“only” 4 more games left in the season before the big show. (seasons past there would only be one game left)

HOMERAIDE!! GET YOUR ICE COLD HOMERAIDE HEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRAAAHHHHH!!

  47. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

The defense is the problem. Kudos to the phins for winning despite their defense.

Absolutely is! FOUR NET POINTS ON THE SEASON!

We are top 10 in TD’s scored in the league but are too soft in the middle of our D (the backside has been saggy too)

  48. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I wasn’t knocking Tannehill in my last post, I was just giving credit to Moore, who has really stepped up and kept the offense moving. Trust me, there are a ton of backups out there who couldn’t have gotten that done. Props to Moore

Toba, friends don’t let friends pick the Chargers in December

  52. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

I think the league offices were really smart to change up the scheduling to match up division teams against each other the last 4 weeks of the season. It has kept Playoff scenarios up in the air until the final week and help prevent some teams from playing subpar football late in the year because they have already wrapped up a spot. Just the scheduling change alone has made December football a lot more exciting

  53. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

I like Kiko Alonso very much but I think we need a bigger Banger in the middle. If we had a super stud at middle linebacker our defense would be much much better. Don’t take this the wrong way I like Kiko very much as I’ve already said but he is too small he looks more like a big safety and he gets washed out of plays too often

We need BOTH of those guys if we are going to beat the Cheats on New Year’s day. And we’ll need Maxwell back and playing, also, for that game. –Key injuries can just KILL a team at this point of the season.

NOTE THAT ONE OF THE PLAYOFF SCENARIOS has the Dolphins playing at Houston in the opening round of the playoffs. Based on the Texans game last night, that’s a game we can DEFINITELY WIN and move on to the second round where, possibly, RYAN TANNEHILL might be ready to go!!!

  94. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

the only way to avoid Pittsburgh or Baltimore in WC round is for KC to lose to Denver tonight and Oakland to beat Denver next week (or we beat NE straight up).

It’s too risky. gotta hope for KC win tonight and play whoever is in front of us in WC round.

    • Jahndoh30's avatar Jahndoh30 says:

It’s nice to know if Denver does win tonight though, that we had options. Tough ending in Cleveland today. Pretty sure KD was obviously fouled at the end, but then again, I would rather have Cavs overconfident and Warriors hungry for the series that we’re all anticipating, when it matters.

      • Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

Warriors’ 3rd road game in four days.. so not exactly ‘playoff’ schedule anyway. 🙂

Dubs are mad at themselves for not taking care of the ball in last 6 mins like they had most of the 2nd half.

James should have been t’d for hanging on the rim … but refs are afraid to do that. And of course, whistles get swallowed on last plays of games for some reason. Ultimately, another curry bad xmas day game makes the difference.
