He is just one part of the problem but he needs to get centered so the rest of the offense can use his confidence to build off of. I definitely don’t think this is all his fault though. Gase has control over getting this shit under control too.
That dodge commercial is racist. 4 black cars racing down the road then a white SUV comes rushing up with two white guys driving it and the black cars move out of the way so the white one can lead them….. Seriously. Really not smart as far as the people who signed off on that. All they had to do was have cats of all colors and then pick a green one to lead or something lol.
The funny-not funny thing is, you’re probably right. After I saw some person create a stink for some Hobby place selling raw cotton as part of a decorative item, saying it was racist…well, what else is there?
There is literally nothing worse on a football Sunday than to get our asses handed to us by the stupid Jest. All the crap and BS we endured this offseason that we held off last week caught up to us this week.
Mike, was referring that the O woes are not Cutler’s fault. Just sayin that he is not stepping into his throws. He was doing it last week to. The whole O looks like shit.
Love for S&M aside, this is too painful and humiliating for me to continue down this path. Time to turn this shit-fest off, put on music, and fire up the grill.
Cutler looks done. I’m not seeing the arm he once had. Saw it last week but it was a good game plan and we won. He looks like a young QB who doesn’t know how to play today.
He’s having a bad game. Can we relax a little bit that he’s done? He’s rushing every throw, because he’s not getting protection. It’s a cause and effect thing. It’s amazing how one dimensional the complaints are. We have no running threat whatsoever, and the defense is just coming after him, Do you guys NOT see this? C’mon!
How is it his arm? He’s throwing while running backwards, or running forward. How many times did he step into a throw? I’m watching the same game you guys are, and I see him throwing like he’s afraid of the pressure, either because it’s really there, or he just expects it
He has missed open guys when he has had time. He has been late on his throws and only since the Jets took a commanding lead did the Jets start getting pressure. Prior to that Cutler had time
Mike, Cutler’s throws do not have the velocity he once had. They dive low or fly high off the mark. The receivers are like WTF?!!!! Unless it’s just rust, he’s done. We’ll see.
Tim, not being difficult, but did you read my reply? Did you ever throw a football off your back foot? Did you ever throw while moving backwards? Did you ever try to throw with some velocity while running forward? It’s hard. I don’t think Cutler’s arm is the issue, I think he was a little shellshocked today. He was either pressured or feeling pressure (in his head), and that caused a lot of bad throws. He didn’t do that last week, so we just forget about last week’s game, and only count this one?
Yes, he often throws off his back foot and relied on his arm. He doesn’t have it anymore. I saw it against the Chargers but didn’t want to get into it. I just saw it again. Our receivers bailed him out many times in LA. Today it was worse. This looks like Favre at the end.
I agree he didn’t play well. Did anyone in this game with the exception of Chase Allen play well? We looked like garbage. Why is it determined that Cutler is done? He played bad when the offense including our running game also looked like shit. It’s hard to win when you’re one dimensional/ It’s his second game back with this team. He was signed a few weeks ago. Can we give him a chance? You want Moore to start, I think that’s crazy. If Gase determines Cutler’s done, that’s one thing, but as long as Cutler is Gase’s QB, he’s mine too
Protection was not great but was overly horrible either. Pocket was small but was open at the front as it should be. Some plays it collapsed at the front though.
Coverage was there most the game. Cutler got rattled and from the hits, which there were a bunch of questionably late ones. He started throwing off his back foot which meant he couldn’t get anything on the throws which made the small windows he was give impossible to make.
They had a perfect game plan for us on defense, but we also didn’t execute or make the right adjustments to what they were doing. TE and RB passes would have helped but we called outside pass plays to them when the LBs were leaving the shallow middle open. Running game was ineffective and we live or die off our running game.
Our zone blocking zone runs played right into their scheme which was open to the backside so we should have been running more counters and maybe thrown in a couple misdirection traps and/or reverses to keep them honest. We could have gone more power run, power ok blocking, but I think we were just over manned for that.
Our defense was blasted in the secondary, Maxwell redeemed himself a little but was a liability in the first half, verner couldn’t replace him without getting burnt himself, slot coverage was bad, Howard was decent but he had to scramble to catch back up on coverage he got burned but got caught back up a few times.
LB s didn’t tackle well and were out of position a lot. They were slow in coverage. Off and on game for all of them.
DL was ok, decent pressure from the outside but could have used more. Suh and Godchaux had pressure up the middle but they didn’t get good support from the LBs in the middle. I don’t know what it’s going to take to get holding called for whomever defenses Wake, they hold him around the neck even and still no calls.
Suckfest all over the field today. We deserved to be shut out and I hope Gase asschews everyone on the team while holding a mirror and looking at himself at the same time.
Was more upset with the OL in run blocking more so than pass pro this game though they really did neither well. I know that unit is better than that. Last week was a better pass rush team and we shut them down. Obviously we just didn’t come to play today. Maybe we should have traveled there last Monday and spent the week there worked last week lol
Yeah and it’s not a sign of everything I mean we saw a better game last week and we notoriously start slow. We just need to get shit straight and not embarrass ourselves, because make no mistake, this was embarrassing
Cutler’s arm is not the one he had a few years ago. I truly don’t see him turning it around but obviously I hope he does. He looks like a pitcher who lost his stuff. Have at it, that’s what I see.
We looked mentally weary.
So did Tampa Bay.
The hurricane depression and all that stress is real.
Plus the Timmons thing and the LB problems. There’s been a lot of stress on us.
I do hope they go early and get acclimated to the time difference. Jet lag is awful. I used to travel to Europe for work, could never get adjusted. I’d be falling asleep all day and could not go to sleep at night. Horrible.

I’m surprised you see it that way, but it’s all good. Our O-Line play was so chaotic that I saw Cutler throwing off his front foot… and he delivered LASERS into the breadbasket of his receivers.
Hey, gotta give props to the stej’s Secondary for making REALLY nice plays on the ball in this game… and I don’t mind doing so.
Cutler’s arm wasn’t the problem it was his feet. He never planted his feet well on his throws and most of the time he was throwing off his back foot. There is no way you can get anything on a throw like that.
I would have put him in there regardless wasn’t like anybody else seem like they understood the Playbook either. It would have also been good just to see athletically where he was at. They could have put him in situations where it was see ball get ball.
For what it’s worth him I agree with you that his arm isn’t what it used to be. It is however still much better than a lot of what quarterbacks have. The big problem was he was throwing off his back foot he wasn’t planning on his throws because he felt like he didn’t have the time to do that. There were times when he was correct and there were other times that he just rushed it because he was nervous.
Cutler had time and made bad decisions and throws. When he had no time he got sacked or threw INTs. Again maybe he’s rusty, but he looked lost and lacking skill to me. I guess it’s weird coming from positive Tim, but I do not like what I’m seeing from him.
Play calling always looks bad when there is no execution. We could have won this game even pllaying like shit. That’s how bad the O played. Defense and STs were fine overall. The O was so bad it was hard to watch.
I agree it wasn’t as bad a performance as people are making it out to be on Cutler’s part this time. It’s really a combined problem between the him and the OL protection and the fact we didn’t have a running game to balance out everything. Cutler has a lot of elite quarterback skills but one of the ones he does not have is carrying a team on his shoulders. He really needed his security blanket, ajayi, to carry the load.
No one had focus in that game that was the majority of the problem no one did their job which made any one person unable to do it all by themselves. Did they try to make things out of nothing he couldn’t do it Landry tried really hard to make things out of nothing he couldn’t do it Cutler tried to make things happen out of nothing he couldn’t do it. It’s a team game and when the team doesn’t put forth the effort together they lose. So I guess since Tim is taking my role this time I’ll take his.
Cutler wasn’t sharp by any means…..but then he was getting lots of pressure. And not like he was giving bad handoffs particularly yet the running game was shut down. I’m with M13 that my biggest finger today points at the O line.
Honestly, If it was Tannehill today at QB, he probably would have been sacked 5-7 times, and thrown 2-3 INT’s under duress. It wasn’t our game. We lean on the run game, and it wasn’t there.
If there is one play that tells you all you need to know about Cutler’s performance today it is that one. It is as if he didn’t even see the field. Well he didn’t
That throw was baffling, but we don’t know if Cutler thought Landry was going to a different place, so while it looked ridiculous, we’re not privy to that info
Kinda doing some of the same stuff you always warn others not to do or at least I think you should realize this is the same thing that so.e people have show when pointing out Tanny’s mistakes, picking a play or a couple to establish the entirety of a game. It’s true there were bad plays fully on him, I’m sure most everyone agrees but just as you defend Tanny against that, so should Cutler be defended as it wasn’t all on a couple of plays that made the whole game fail.
quit the WR screen already, fuck!
He is throwing off his back foot every pass
Page turn
Can we stop making this game all about Cutler. Let’s get serious, we look like trash today in too many phases, it’s not just the QB
It starts with him. He is missing open receivers, not converting 3rd downs and keeping the D on the field way too long
Cutler has basically taken a giant shit on the field today
That was a bad throw by Haack, it;s Cutler’s fault
He is just one part of the problem but he needs to get centered so the rest of the offense can use his confidence to build off of. I definitely don’t think this is all his fault though. Gase has control over getting this shit under control too.
Hes throwing everything off his back foot
A division game at that, fuck!
Cutler is poop
I really hate that WR screen. Why even call that play?
Allen making almost every tackle
Chase, not Nate
This is a loss by Gase.
I start with Cutler but yes Gase deserves blame too
Nice tackle ON Wake
Defense with a big stop
Well maybe not
No defense did their job, ST’s blew it
D
Sure, he’s a part of it, but O-line has been a joke, run game non existent, receivers look they’re out there just going through the motions.
Hopefully we try another WR screen!
With another throw behind the WR
Yeah, there is a reason Cutler was going to a booth. Cutler over Tanny is a joke.
Offense where are thee
Nowhere to be found are you
Please awake soon yes
That dodge commercial is racist. 4 black cars racing down the road then a white SUV comes rushing up with two white guys driving it and the black cars move out of the way so the white one can lead them….. Seriously. Really not smart as far as the people who signed off on that. All they had to do was have cats of all colors and then pick a green one to lead or something lol.
I’m just kidding of course but you know someone else has noticed this and it’s only a matter of time before it gets called out
The funny-not funny thing is, you’re probably right.
I’m an eternal optimist. It’s not over yet.
I wish I had your spirit. My cynical ass was done at 17-0 even with almost 2 quarters still left to play.
We owe them a 4th qtr comeback.
We’re moving now- let’s see
This no huddle is really working with 30 minutes of commercials
Mike, was referring that the O woes are not Cutler’s fault. Just sayin that he is not stepping into his throws. He was doing it last week to. The whole O looks like shit.
Wtf cutler
OMG Cutler is terrible
That was Carroo, nit Thomas
Fuck
That’s the thing with Cutler. He can have good days, he can have bad ones. Today sadly is one of the bad ones.
Fuck, fuck, and double fuck
RZ woes continue. what is that 0-5 now this season?
Where are Landry’s hands today. Yes that would have been a tough catch but he got hands on it
The Tannehill trade rumors are really heating up. LOL
Missing him today
This is horrible
Worst game by a Dolphin QB since Ray Lucas
Worst football story since the movie Lucas….
I don’t want to judge too harshly this early but cutler is atrocious
I’m not sure he should start again
Lol
Love for S&M aside, this is too painful and humiliating for me to continue down this path. Time to turn this shit-fest off, put on music, and fire up the grill.
lol
That was a bs call
They have played our receivers that close all say
Damn it Dolphins, you are better than this.
We will be luck to score today much less get 21
Jones of yore
They should fly them straight to London fro NY. Bypass going home so the can concentrate on football. Brees is licking his chops all ready.
I think that is exactly what they are doing…
I would respect Gase a lot more now if he put Matt Moore in
The very worst thing about this game, is we forgot to showcase Landry. Now nobody will trade for him.
Maybe we can sweeten the deal and include Tanny. Somebody is sure to bite then!
lmao
It’s one of those stinkers folks. I’m actually laughing more than aggravated. We’ve been through these before. It sucks but it’s still just 1-1.
My nephew went to the game, and left already. Said it was the worst experience at a game in his life
LOL
He looks like Steve Smith sometimes
We are not scoring today
Shit
Another inaccurate throw off the back foot
Looked like Parker could have had the 1st down if he ran straight ahead, instead of cutting it to the inside
I think so
Problem was he to elevate to make the catch and his momentum was carrying him across the field instead of up the field
This is an example of when 50 of your players and all of your coaches suck on the same day.
Challenge that shit
Maxwell with his 5th FF as a Dolphin
Cutler off the back foot again.
Reality check: We are being blown out by the worst team in the league
Our biggest gains are by the refs
Cutler looks done. I’m not seeing the arm he once had. Saw it last week but it was a good game plan and we won. He looks like a young QB who doesn’t know how to play today.
The shut out remains intact
Cutler needs to be taken back behind the woodshed and whipped.
When did Henne and Sparono come back?
Gase needs to rethink his play-calling.
C’mon!
His arm does not look good. Same as last week. I think Moore will be starting sooner than later.
Prior to that Cutler had time
Did we not look like shit last season in the first 4 games? You people have a short memory
I’m here to remind you. lol
not saying it’s a frustrating day, but my laptop gave me a message that my battery was low and i yelled “Go fuck yourself, bitch.”
Thank God my wife was not home.
That’s OK the Fins Battery was low around the 14:59 mark in the 1st quarter
There goes the shutout
Even Parkey sucked today
Garbage TD to avoid a shutout. Weeeeeee
There’s last weeks kicker of the week
Fitting end! 😦
Well I feel like I need a shower

The same reason Tanny is done after every game we lose!
He looked atrocious and I know others contributed to this loss but it started with Cutler who set the tone with some shitty play early on
Even the refs are having a bad day. They called a holding penalty against the Pets negating a big play late in the game. WTF?!
It’s hilarious watching the role reversals that happen here.
You mean me and Tim? Ha! It is kind of amusing, I’m getting a kick out of it
It’s yous guys right now, but over time it’s pretty much everybody at one point or another.
Un fucking real
I fucking hate the stupid pets. Deal with the devil.
Would have been incomplete if it was anyone else
It’s one game…albeit it’s against them. Not the end of the world. That was yesterday. 😉
Protection was not great but was overly horrible either. Pocket was small but was open at the front as it should be. Some plays it collapsed at the front though.

Seems our entire O-Line “took a knee” for Jay Cutler today… just an observation and just sayin’…
Not to mention “taking a knee” for Jay Ajayi… just sayin’…
There wasn’t much energy out of any part of the team
Ok Herd is right.
It’s just one game.
Yeah and it’s not a sign of everything I mean we saw a better game last week and we notoriously start slow. We just need to get shit straight and not embarrass ourselves, because make no mistake, this was embarrassing
Lots of crazy shit going on today. Pitt just lost to Chicago. Denver lost to Bills. Texas s was a last minute it’s play from beating Pats.
Cutler’s arm is not the one he had a few years ago. I truly don’t see him turning it around but obviously I hope he does. He looks like a pitcher who lost his stuff. Have at it, that’s what I see.
The Steelers lost to da Bears !!!!!!
The Broncos lost to the jills.
Those help us.
Tampa Bay and Carolina both lost big after being undefeated.
I don’t think Baltimore thinks their season is over even though they got torn up in London.
Holy shit! Philly wins with a 61 YD FG!
Maybe we can take Philly’s kickers leg, and surgically replace Cutlers arm. It could save our season!
We looked mentally weary.
So did Tampa Bay.
The hurricane depression and all that stress is real.
Plus the Timmons thing and the LB problems. There’s been a lot of stress on us.
We need to go to London and sleep for three days.
I do hope they go early and get acclimated to the time difference. Jet lag is awful. I used to travel to Europe for work, could never get adjusted. I’d be falling asleep all day and could not go to sleep at night. Horrible.
New OC Bill Lazor guides Bengals to their 1st offensive TD this season. Hmmm
D your analysis at 4:18 was spot on, balanced and perceptive.
Thanks buddy I appreciate that.

Most of the time, Cutler was under pressure. Hence: our O-Line SUCKS!
I would have like to seen Anthony in the game since it was already out of hand
Only reason we didn’t is likely because he has yet to digest Burke’s Defense. Perhaps we’ll see him next week.
I would have put him in there regardless wasn’t like anybody else seem like they understood the Playbook either. It would have also been good just to see athletically where he was at. They could have put him in situations where it was see ball get ball.

You started Cutler in FF. Now I see where the venom is coming from. lol

Clever way to show them your genitals there Piggy
Cutler had time and made bad decisions and throws. When he had no time he got sacked or threw INTs. Again maybe he’s rusty, but he looked lost and lacking skill to me. I guess it’s weird coming from positive Tim, but I do not like what I’m seeing from him.
He definitely through some bad passes and he definitely made some bad decisions.
Threw, that’s what I get for using speech to text
I agree. He just looked bad today. The playCalling was also predictable
Ince the jests stopped Ajayi there was really nothing for us
Play calling always looks bad when there is no execution. We could have won this game even pllaying like shit. That’s how bad the O played. Defense and STs were fine overall. The O was so bad it was hard to watch.
Cutler bought time for himself in lieu of our O-Line. And he has a mere 1 INT on the season… not “INTs” (as in plural).
It was also a pretty desperate pass while on the run, juts trying to make something happen
He did and was still bad with his throws.

Cutler wasn’t sharp by any means…..but then he was getting lots of pressure. And not like he was giving bad handoffs particularly yet the running game was shut down. I’m with M13 that my biggest finger today points at the O line.
Thank you, Stanger.
Awful…..
Carry on
Well that should settle the talk about trading RT.
Tim
Honestly, If it was Tannehill today at QB, he probably would have been sacked 5-7 times, and thrown 2-3 INT’s under duress. It wasn’t our game. We lean on the run game, and it wasn’t there.
I don’t agree and that’s okay. Cutler looks lost.
You can disagree, but how often did Tannehill play well when we had no run game, and the defense was getting good pressure?
Tannehill has never been a high int guy but Cutler has been.
Solid pocket and Cutler throws it between a guy covered and a wide open Landry.

My biggest concern is the defense, which sucked ass.
It played well early but it was on field too long and it just broke down as it wore down
The defense was on the field all day. The offense was so bad I can’t even discuss it. It was as bad as it gets.
D – Very true. Also, we don’t know if Cutler was expecting Landry to go to a different place. It’s his 2nd game, those kind of mistakes are possible
