Today HOF Miami Dolphins LB Nick Buoniconti passed away. He was the leader of the “No Name Defense” that helped the Dolphins win two Super Bowls. He was a very charitable, impressive individual outside of sports. He will be sorely missed.
RIP Nick Buoniconti
So training camp is here and I’ve failed to feel any excitement other than the dact that it started. I don’t think it’s the team’s fault necessarily, i think it’s just the nature of practices, how short they are, and how much less physical they have to be to meet today’s safety standards. We also had one of our coaches fired this week, pretty odd at this juncture. You could look at this a few different ways. If you want the positive spin, it’s great that Flores recognized a deficiency early enough and immediately took action. Some guys may have waited around to see if there was any improvement which could easily have cost us some poor play early on. Also on a positive spin, putting the O-line in the hands of Dave DeGuglielmo is a good thing as he is a very experienced coach, coaching since 2004. If you want to look at the negative side, Flaherty wasn’t a great hire for the rookie Head Coach Flores. He was also previously the O-line coach in 2017 for the Dolphins and I needn’t remind you we were awful as per usghe at that time. In any case, let’s hope for the best in this regard.
I was hoping to see some player really show well, and so far it’s just been a whole lot of “eh”. We signed former Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns, who played briefly last year for the Cowboys. I really liked Hurns when he was tearing up the league along with Allen Robinson at Jacksonville. If we get something close to that Allen Hurns we did very well. I was unrealistically hoping for a strong start from QB Josh Rosen. I didn’t really expect it this early but was hoping for a surprise. Instead we found out he never had to identify the MLB in any stop in his football career. Seems so odd to me, I thought it was a given. This doesn’t make him any less a QB, but just something he will need to learn, and Josh Rosen has been a player who studies the game, so bet on him getting this down, as well as the offense too.
Anyone think maybe Charles Harris would be tearing things up? Another thing I hoped for, but it’s very early yet, and he’s going to have a chance to make some hay as the preseason games begin 8/8, just a week and a half away! One guy who the coaches seem to be very high on early on is LB Jerome Baker. He’s going to be an impact player, taking off from where he left last year. He can do it all, run, tackle, cover and rush the passer and he will be asked to do all of those things. An early revelation has Minkah playing mostly slot corner, but I would think by the time the season starts, he will be doing a lot more as he did last season. As long as he’s doing things he’s great at, let it happen.
Things I look for to change in the next couple of weeks. I want Gug’s to try and find that starting 5 as quickly as he can and get them playing together as much as possible. I think the earlier we do that the better chance we have of having a cohesive unit out there. I also want to see guys take step forward, especially the aforementioned Charles Harris and Josh Rosen. Whether Rosen begins the season as the starter is not crucial to me, but to know he’s good enough to do so if needed is. I would really like it if he makes leaps and bounds in understanding the offense and making better throws under duress. If he doesn’t accomplish this, we may not see him this year as a starter unless of course something happens to Fitz or he just plays awful, neither of which I want to see.Training camp runs until Aug 6th, and then our forst game action as I mentioned will be August 8th at home against Atlanta.
GO DOLPHINS!

David, according to the twitter feeds from camp, Fitz has STARTED with the ones each practice but Rosen does get some runs with the ones also.
—————————————————
Fitz has started, but Rosen has run with the ones a bit. So far they have them even on number of days finishing as the best player, well as of day 4 i mean. Havent read anything today saying who they think played the best today.
First. Also seems appropriate i cut and paste my last post on the other blog into this one.
got it, i posted on the last blog
i always hear about Fitz and parker hooking up, and Rosen hooking up with camp bodies,
i do think for a fair evaluation, they both have to have starts with the ones and equal time
, camp bodies arent as good as Parker

I bet it will be revealed that Nick Buonoconti died of something related to CTE. I read reports that said that was one of the things that he had been suffering with as of late, memory loss, etc and h was donating his brain for CTE research. It makes sense, since normally a man of his age that dies like that would have had an extended illness if the source was cancer or some other unnatural natural death. He also didn’t seem to be old enough or infirm enough to simply die of old age, despite being 78.
Reply
How bout Michael Thomas’ 5 YR/$100M. He’s great, but that’s a lot of money for a WR.
Just think, Landry is getting a drop than $5M less per year. Tee hee
OMG 100 Million? i think prices are going up WR inflation
Got the link you posted on the previous page, Rock. Cheers 🙂
No problem on the updates!
Left another for you above! 😉
LOL
I’d rather you get Greinke all day long over Bum. Bumgarner is one of the best post season pitchers of all time. Greinke is just a good pitcher.
The Cards might have 2 more WS championships under their belt if it wasn’t for that asshole.

Thank god, I kept looking for new on training camp and then I would come here and see that it doesn’t start until tomorrow and I would go about doing other things. Then I would come back the next day and see that Camp starts tomorrow and would repeat the process.
😉
LOL
First game action occurs on my birthday 8/8!
Game action eve is Mrs. K’s BD. Another Leo and fire. Just fyi.
my sister’s is the 6th and my ex wife was the 5th
I mean I guess, it still is the 5th….she didn’t lose her birthday just because we got divorced. LOL
Actually took that never had to ID the MIke before in a different way, but maybe was over thinking. Thought Rosen was saying never faced as complicated D schemes as ours puts out. So yeah was thinking “the swarm.”
Thanks for keeping us rolling Mike E.
Damn, I didn’t realize Grienke was having that good a year. Still rather face him than Bum in the post season, lol.
Barring injury, you guys are going to be near impossible to beat this year.
Andrew Luck is freaking people out in Indy, he told everyone not to freak out, but, a few years ago he told everyone not to freak out over his injury, then he missed the entire season

“The biggest revelation is that this defense could be really good — and immediately. I tuned in to Move the Sticks on the way back to the hotel. Daniel Jeremiah and Bucky Brooks raved about Miami having a great start on defense — both from a leadership and production standpoint — with Minkah Fitzpatrick and Christian Wilkins. That doesn’t even include superstar Xavien Howard and breakout candidate Jerome Baker.
The Dolphins run defense is going to be miles better this year. The little mistakes should be less — in fact, they already are. Miami is drilling these fine details, working on establishing a program that executes and plays to its own advantages.”

Me like!
One of the players we need to seriously step up is former first round pick Charles Harris
I cursed this pick when we made it because we needed a QB, but we blew the pick on Harris instead
I felt that a guy like Harris really wasn’t a first rounder, but I overestimated, he looks more like a fourth rounder since we picked him
Harris has been very disappointing , we really could use some help on the d- line, hopefully the light comes on for him
Enjoy 😊
Doggie said he’s playing this one at the beach this year
Thanks for “Crossfire “ the other day Mike. That was the song I broke in my Bose docking unit on. In the backyard on the porch. The neighbors loved it too. The thing cranks.
RIP Nick Bouniconti
You were one of the greats
Carlossssss, SO damn good
he has hits in 6 different decades

They are all tripping balls!
Have tickets to Santana for 8/14.
That should be pretty awesome. I think Neal Schon from Journey, who was in Santana’s band before he started Journey, is back with Carlos.
Today’s TC recap by Wingfield:
https://www.lockedondolphins.com/dolphins/miami-dolphins-2019-training-camp-journal-day-6-july-31/
For the first time all camp, Josh Rosen was decidedly the best quarterback on the field. Like Fitzpatrick, he was more aggressive than normal — though he did settle for the check down a little too often in the team period. But he was far better with his processing in today’s practice completing more chunk throws than on any other day.
Comebacks were the route of the day and he was on time with a lot of these throws — and accurate. In the one-on-one period he dropped a pair of gorgeous deep balls in the bucket for long touchdowns.
From Wingfield’s article posted.
yes, I am practicing fair and balanced coverage…
Davon Godchaux, Vincent Taylor, Akeem Spence, and Adolphus Washington are likely the secondary cause of all the offensive line shuffling (more on that in a minute). All four have been sterling this camp creating push, walking the line back, and clogging up lanes in the running game.
If that group sustains that level of play, with this Dolphins line backing corps looking as good as it has, this stands to be the best front seven Miami has had in a long time. And forget the lack of true, pure, edge-rushers — that’s not what the scheme does. They want to beat you up inside and create the rush through clever blitzing and overloading pressure — and they’ve done that so far.
That secondary is pretty good too
The Cardinals Mikolas has a 5 hitter against the Cubs right now. There have only been 228,346 five hit games thrown in MLB history.
Could be a magical night…
Well there goes the 5 hitter, sigh.
It’s probably not going to happen this year, but this team is on the right track. With the changes and progress, I’ve seen in just a week’s time, if the Dolphins hit next offseason out of the park, they’ll be the new sheriff in the Post-Brady-and-Belichick AFC East.
@WingfieldNFL
I’m NOT drinking it this year!
No no no no no I’m not gonna do it
NO
Well, maybe just a sip
“He had another and another and before you knew it he downed one whole jug of that stuff and commenced to do the bear dance”
Anyone know what song that’s from?
It is “I had an other and an other”
Jimmy Buffet God’s own Drunk
Yes, good job. I messed it up some but you nailed it
Somebody needs to give this Travis Wingfield guy a promotion, or kudos, or something.
His recaps and insight pieces are the bomb.
This is what Armando EEyore and Omar the Ego should be doing.
I actually learn stuff reading Wingfield instead of just getting alternately pissed off and depressed by the emo duo of Mandon’t and Oman the Thin Skin.
i like his stuff a lot too.
Also I read somwhere that Rosen was clearly best QB today droppping seeds on bombs while Fitz had one of those Fitztragic days where he tries superhiman stuff and throws 10 INTS.
They say Rosen was checking down too much, but he needs the work with those kinds of throws and I say that is Patriot Way #129. Never let ’em see you sweat, never let them get a sack, keep the DL so frustrated and exhausted from having to work hard with no results, so they can’t get pumped up. Throw a check down and race up to the LoS and throw another, do it again with no huddle, the D can’t sub, and boom, the DL is sucking eggs and you get a 28 yd burn for free.
Man if you check down to Drake, Wilson, and Grant, you might get to see one take it to the house off a 8 yd throw.
Boom! good post.
Better QB play was what we needed more than anything so I’m hopeful the system being put in is what either Fitz or Rosen can have success in.
I think Adolphus Washington could be a sleeper we stole in the middle of the DL.
If Orchard can just wake up and back up Harris with leadbelly and the Tank on the other DE, we might be ok on the edge.
Van Winkle too, he’s a sleeper
ROTFLMAO
I think he is going to be a huge contributor, but I count him as a LB not a DL.
He is but I think we’ll mostly see him as an edge rusher
Hard to keep a head count.
we keep 8 DL? 9?
Wilkins, Godchaux, Taylor @ DT for sure
Harris, Carradine @ DE for sure
Washington or Spence?
Ledbetter?
Hendrix?
Woodard?
Orchard?
Mbu?
Pittman is lagging.
Santana puts on a terrific show.
He has such a pure and beautiful guitar sound.
Damn it’s after 11pm.
Why am I f’n typing after 11pm?
It’s been one of those summers.
Happy Humpday night , men.
Agreed excellent piece by Wingfield .. I mean he’s no Mike E , but there is only one and he’s all ours 😊
With the better coaching it appears we are getting, even with marginally better QB play , I can see us surprising a few teams and a lot of the Nay Sayers ..
Things are looking ROSiE iN Dolphin Land for the future , and possible very shortly in the future..
I like Flores and he seems to know what home field advantage means in Miami. OD should love this:

Game Day!!!!
Football tonight, boys.
Eat steak and potatoes, chillax and study your gameplan playbook, then be ready to get your game face on at 7:30pm!
Broncos vs. Falcons
ahhh the season is here
its hard to believe, the offseason feels so long
its always a special day when the NFL starts another season
tonights game wont be very exciting, but what is exciting is the season is finally here
Merill Hodge has lymphoma, accuses Monsanto and roundup

i have no idea if there is a plant by ISU
I can’t rush the summer away, so although football is here, I’m not into football mode quite yet. Baseball is the game of summer, so as long as that’s happening, football is on the back burner.
Baseball season should be interesting! 🙂
I hope I can root all summer long, that would be nice.
get ready Mike, lol August 8 is Miami vs Atlanta , cant wait !
I’ll be ready when we get there. Preseason isn’t that big a deal, unless of course some guys start playing out of their minds. Even then, you still have to temper your enthusiasm because some guys do well in preseason games against lesser talent (2’s or 3’s or even 4’s) and then go up against 1’s in the regular season and disappear.
true , but look at what we have now, practice reports? lol those are a bit lame
preseason gives us a chance to see all of our guys in action in a game type setting. ill be watching
Oh I hear ya, like I said, baseball is the game of summer! Football unofficially starts in the fall, even though it’s still summer when the season starts in early September.
mike, I want to see the 1,2,3,4, etc. i dont see preseason as a real entertaining game, its more of an evaluation tool for the coaches,
but alot of players i have never seen before, and I would like to see them, plus get an idea how our returning players might fare this season
im not expecting a playoff atmosphere, lol just cant bear to watch gilligans island, cooking shows, and crocheting and sewing reruns forever

I went to ISU with Merill Hodge.

The question marks are for _ Is that really the reason????
ahhh i see, You went to the same school as him
what is the reason he got sick? well his lawsuit is similar to thousands of others against Bayer/Monsanto, but Merill worked on farms and sprayed roundup with glycophosphates for his exposure
sheesh
hoping Ballage does not have a lingering injury
meanwhile, let’s see if we really have something in Gaskin
How cool is that?

But Asiata and so many others have proved that is not enough

You would think he has some body control with the judo,

football 101 Burke.
Actually that is true in all sports.
Nobody on offense should ever get an unimpeded path to where he wants to go.
Why just stand by and let them run their plays?
The defense should always disrupt everything the offense tries
to do from the coinflip to the 0:00 gun.
Line up funky early or wait until the last second.
Never just block the OL right across from you just the way he wants you to.
gosh
smartest thing Omar’s said in years
Rosen to Parker, about friggin time Rosen gets to work with the ones, NICE
We got some Cox, no Ballage

i need english translation, lol but this one is good too
did You ever find the one i was trying to paste?
yes, thats it! i guess u found it, thanks
wyoming, when i first started in the AC industry, rookies get stuck doing all the mastic, sealing up all the joints
back then everyone used that nasty oil based black mastic, and we would use gasoline or other solvents to wash our hands, SMH
for the last 20 years or so, most techs use the water based white mastic, and can wash up with water
That’s prejudiced! lol
Racist even! lol
Was that for grampa😉
solvents are racist? lol solvents dont hate, they will mess u up though
He’s commenting on your preferring white over black.
have you ever used mastic before? lol the oil based stuff sucks royally, no one really uses it anymore
the receiver had it in his hands first, should have been a catch
If you look at the still shot before the gif starts, the TE and DB are face to face hand-fighting. This is a terrible position for the TE to get himself into.
This I think is what held back Gesicki last year. If the DB fronts you like that, you just need to pivot and show the QB your hands and make the DB climb your back which most can’t do giving away 6 inches and 50 pounds to the TE.
like boxing out in basketball
Now in Gesicki’s defense, the coaches might have demanded that he proceed exactly with the play to the corner of the EZ as they were practicing that play, and this would show if the QB could make that throw.
TJ might have cheated , knowing the play call, and blew up the play but earned no kudos. Still not good route adjustment by Gesicki and mediocre throw at best.
i like the boxing out analogy, that is important IMO
a big man in the end zone must box out the defender with his body
i worked my way through college working at correct craft in orlando, makers of the ski nautique
fiberglass is nasty stuff, we would do hand layup, which means using your hands to smooth the bubbles out, then stick our hands in vats of acetone to wash up
acetone is an explosive solvent, flammable doesnt cut it,
its so flammable you can toss a match in a small cup of acetone and it erupts to 20 foot flames
Used it to clean the Stainless steel before welding on it!
Worked great!
its a great cleaning chem alright, just highly toxic
And that’s the way every practice should end.
Look out teams coming into Hard Rock heat.
David – Only reason I even made that joke was because I saw on twitter this morning that so many robots are white, which is racist. I would maintain that not everything is black and white.
Should say I don’t believe it’s racist, but some folks do. The way I see it, crash dummies are white, maybe it would be racist if they were black, right?
gotcha, but in the nasty world of mastic, its black and white, lol
i think home depot does still sell some grey shit though, but its water based also
I used to use acetone all the time in the lab when I used to do lens tinting. Now most lenses are polycarbonate, and you can’t touch a poly lens with acetone
what do You use now?
I’m not in the lab anymore, but we use alcohol to clean off the lenses now, no acetone. If acetone got on a poly lens, it could crack it.
thanks for that info
ok on those two clips above,
In the first one, TJ must make that play. He did, so that was good.
Gesicki had no chance due to the pass placement.
The throw to Devante, however, trailed the receiver just enough to let him reach back because the DB must play the front hands to defend the corner of the EZ. Perfect ball placement on that throw, and the “famous” catch radius of Parker shows out.
Both were good plays for our team.
btw
first throw (bad one) was by Fitz (I think)
and second (good one) by Rosen (I think)
if You believe in God, and wish to have something important and unknown to You,
you can listen to a song called Awaken by the group Yes, and secrets are revealed to you.
i realize it sounds bizzare, i questioned it also. but someone insisted to try it and i did
this song opens up portals and reveals unknowns if You only ask
try it when You have 15 minutes to yourself, it might surprise the shit out of you
the lyrics are commands for the soul
when the lyrics repeat, awaken gentle mass touch, awaken gentle mass touch
thats where answers are revealed to Me
anything i ask, i will get the answer here
Naples – I hope they’re working really hard with Gesicki to help him release from the LOS.
much agreed, i really want to see Gesicki take it up a few notches, and think this is the year he shows dramatic improvement
That was the other part of his problem of course,
…
but even later in the route, he lets the DBs dictate to him instead of dominating them. He needs to slam his body into their face and hands so they are too busy protecting themselves from assault to watch the ball and QB. Ditka was great at that. He used to run routes by finding the DB and running right over him.
For such a big guy, Gesicki plays TE very soft. Not cowardly or weak in the sense of muscularity, but soft in terms of getting position and using his size advantage.
He is fast but has poor foot placement and does not dig into the earth like a tree (like Gronk). If you are tired of Gronk comps. look at Tony G or if he’s too special try Witten tape. Witten consistently nauseates the DBs by shielding them from the ball with his body.

Mike, i dont believe crash test dummies colors are racist, lol
racism requires a perp and a victim IMO
racism is when a group or person hurts another group or person with acts or words that imply someone is inferior because they arent like You
when You see a person that always says african americans are all stupid, thats an example of racism
i once had a customer tell me all hispanics are stupid, not as smart as whites
i disagreed, she was obviously stupid, an incredible hoarder with 50 cats, lol
this is something a child doesnt need to hear from an adult, it reinforces the falseness that a kid is fucked simply because he has more pigmentation than an other kid

3 days ago BTC formed a golden cross, that means an extended bull run is ahead
BTC has had negative news for 10 years in a row, if a sold btc everytime bad news came out, i would be broke
BTC will bull run to the halvening event
racism is based on ignorance and avoidance of reality
for example, daily disparagement and dehumanizing of minorities by the president is wrong for several reasons.
not only do most minorities feel its wrong, but it avoids incriminating truths
if Trump truly wants to see Baltimore cleaned up, he can start by talking to his son in law Jared Kushner about it
Kushner owns thousands of apartments and townhouses in batlimore, and the residents renting from Kushner have often complained of mold, insects, disrepair, and rats!
but Kushner doesnt care, he is a slum lord
this wasnt to start arguments , or be mean to anyone,
just a nasty truth that isnt revealed by the accussor for obvious reasons
Phel,
the USD and the british pound DO have intrinsic value, however they have NOT tripled in value over the last six months like BTC did
The US dollar is the international benchmark by which all other currency is measured. It will never change value by triple or even double values. Cryptocurrency will not be allowed to crash the world’s economic system. Governments will regulate it out of existence long before then.
Think of cryptocurrency as being akin to wampum beads…they had no intrinsic value, but until the Lenape Indians figured that out the Dutch were able to buy Manhattan Island for a hand full of them. You may be able to make money off of cryptocurrency for awhile, but it is highly speculative and can (will) disappear overnight. Somebody will be left broke and figuratively holding a computer file of random electrons.
BTC will NOT dissappear overnight or i wouldnt want it
you are considered a BTC ousider, and dont understand why it is rising, dont buy it, YOU will lose for sure
the majority of BTC holders have held it for 12 months, and 21 percent has held it for 5 years!
if the 2018 bear run after that 2017 halvening, didnt scare off the die hards, nothing will IMO
the support for BTC is the hardcore HODLers, they know what they bought, and where its going
they will NOT sell til the halvening, and many will hold until the next halvening in 2023
me personally, i will not ride a 2021 correction, im out when it peaks
srew wampum beads, thats not even close to BTC
wampum beads have NOT tripled in 6 months, dollar hasnt either.
I view BTC the same as the SEC
it is an international asset, similar to Gold
Wouldn’t the dollar and pound tripling be like the Venezuelan money or other hyper inflationary currencies running to no value so you need a wheelbarrow of cash to buy groceries?
Or maybe I do not understand what you mean by “tripled in value.”
if they went the other way, they would be crushing other currencies into oblivion, so no one could buy anything from us. No one in other major economies will allow that. Already Russia is trying to lead China off the dollar standard for world trade.
Or maybe I don’t understand what you mean in that way, either.
In my admittedly limited understanding of it, btc can behave more like an investment grade security than a national currency can, fluctuating on investor sentiment unencumbered by legislation (at this moment), although one without underlying real estate, products, or even intellectual rights and marks on which to base its value.
btc is called crypto (as i understand these things) not because it is hiding or encoded, but because there is no intrinsic value other than market-trader hype.
It’s like your butterfly collection. You love it and if your neighbor loves it, he might give you $5 or $50 for it. It has no real value, only crypto value. If your neighbor buys it from you and cannot find another person who loves it enough to give him money for it, it is worthless.
Remember tulipmania? At least the bulbs made plants, although you can’t eat them. That bubble crashed and took down many “fortunes” with it. Cryptocurrency is better than butterflies because it is used as a medium of exchange by quasi economic entities (meaning other gullible players in the fantasy game). But it’s no more than a tulip bulb.
What is scary about having real money invested in a fantasy game is that if the game fad suddenly flops, then there will be no one to buy your butterfly collection, and it has no underlying value outside of the game. So you are fried. Like owning lots of pet rocks or cabbage patch dolls.
If the UK forbids its use, and that spreads to other nations, the crypto market could crash in a day, since it is all based on a gentleman’s agreement to live in fantasy.
wrong, UK cant stop an international asset, they can only control what goes on in the UK
china is a far more populous country than the UK, and their ban was powerless to stop it, UK has zero chance to stop it
outsiders do not understand BTC, only BTC long term investors understand it
dont let the currency name fool You, cryptos are misnamed IMO, they should be called speculative assets like Gold
if the USD tripled, of course inflation and other problems would ensue, because the USD is the USA currency
btc is NOT US currency, and likely never will be, otherwise there wouldnt be any real gains to it
It tripled value in “Real” assets. Crypto has no intrinsic value but it is a real and current threat to the American economy.
The US dollar has no real value either. The only thing the keeps the value of the US$ from being worth less that the paper and ink it is printed with is that after WWII the dollar was set up by treaty as the world reserve currency. It is used for ALL international transactions and has been for 50 years. If the Japanese want to trade with Europe, they first convert their currency to US$ and then to Euros. To do this they must keep “cash on hand” so they hold US$ in reserve. This allows the fed to keep printing money that has no vaule. It’s ONLY value is that it is reserve currency so every country needs to have it which keeps up the demand for it.
China has been trying to circumnavigate the agreement for a few years now, testing the waters so to speak with other trade agreements with other countries.
If countries can start trading in Crypto direct with one another it will gut the US$ and you will see chaos and civil war in the US as a loaf of bread costs $200-$300.
BEWARE

“”””Flores celebrated on the Mercedes-Benz Stadium field with his family — wife Jenny and their three children, sons Miles and Maxwell and daughter Liliana.
Approached by a Boston TV station for a live interview, Flores held 6-year-old Miles in his arms as confetti fell around them.
“Miles wanted to get in front of a camera,” Flores recalled, “so I picked him up and one of the reporters said, ‘Hey Miles, do you know what happened?’ He was trying to bait him into saying, ‘We just won the Super Bowl.’ [Instead], my son goes, ‘We’re going to Miami!’ ”
Oops.”””
Goin to Disney Land, MY ASS, LOL : )))
GOFINS!!!
LOL — the kid probably wasn’t supposed to say that……. but he did. 🙂
HOWDY Stanger. 😀
the same week trump and many many others badmouthed BTC
the banks for the first time agreed to load USD to buy BTC
this opens up btc to the margin whales that wouldnt touch it before
so of course influentiual people trash it, tanking it a few percent on the day
but many BTC exchanges have mentioned that big margin whales are jumping onto BTC now, their disparagement creates a nice entry point for them
most of the people badmouthing BTC have also badmouthed many stocks . and did the same thing
the SEC is the guys that could put a hurt on BTC in the US, but the SEC says BTC is an asset like Gold to be speculated, and the SEC is now greenlighting Crypto IPO’s for the first time
Binance has reported alot of investors are applying for BTC margins.
so at the same time we see MORE acceptance of BTC than ever before, that is when influentials trash it, hmmmmmmmm
they can short on the way down , and create buy points for themselves for the gains, like they did for the stocks
most of wall street is manipulated with pump and dump schemes, and scare bear news for shorts and entries
BTC is not for the retail investors or bandwagon jumpers, they usually lose.
its for people that understand and believe, and in it to the halvening .
i would say ONLY invest in BTC after You really understand it
i only decided to buy 11 BTC 5 months ago , AFTER i understood all of it
i would have never invested that much into an unknown, wtf
dont ask Me what the target price at halvening is unless you want to laugh,
but i will be very wealthy then
Some cool reports from you all. Let’s hope the positives translate on game days.

btw
first throw (bad one) was by Fitz (I think)
and second (good one) by Rosen (I think)
Reply
Yes you got the QB’s on the throws correct.
No, you were wrong on the quality of the 2nd pass. He over-threw the route and it should have been picked by the defender but for great effort by Parker to stretch out and catch it. (almost diving)
Bah, humbug!
That was a completely different pass play. Look at the video.
The WR catches the ball on his back shoulder.
That was an excellent placement by Rosen.
byw the pass to which you refer was ALSO an excellent ball placement, as it could only be caught be the receiver. (OK maybe it was a bit out there on the fingertips, but there would be no DB’s hands to contend with in that placement.)
KV – I love that the kid said “We’re going to Miami”
Yea Mike, TOOO FUNNY!!!
POPS MYSTA BERN PRETTY EXCITED ABOUT IT BEFOREHAND TOO,
for that to be the first post SB words from his 6 year old,
AWESOME,
GOFINS!!!
by far the most difficult part of investing in BTC , is convincing the wifey, lmao
wow she gives me grief over it
i show her how much money im making, and she says, i dont see any money, where is it? can i have some? lol
SMH, she wont see any money until i sell , and of course i will share it with her
you haven’t made a red cent David. Have you sold any? Then you haven’t made any “money”
It is like a stock but with no company to back up the value. See Pyramid scheme.
there is no money made until sell day, correct, and when i sell, there will be over $1,000,000 USD
i could have sold at 4401 and made a dollar, lol but whats the point of that
see GOLD, that is what the SEC and myself views BTC as
Full pads for fifth consecutive day
I thought this might be a problem, thinking they may use up all the padded practices they are allowed, but it is not the case. In the exposition season (training camp to end of preseason games) they are limited by the CBA to one per day, but none in the first three days.
The limit on padded practices really starts in the regular season when you they are only allowed to have 14 total and 11 must be in the first 11 weeks.

I mean I guess, it still is the 5th….she didn’t lose her birthday just because we got divorced. LOL
—————————-
It could have. Just saying….. I watch a lot of ID tv, it happens that way sometimes
LOL @ ID TV!
No, divorce does not take away the birthday. It is the subsequent murder of said ex that takes away the Birthday on ID TV. LOL
HOF Game tonight…
Cant wait till next Thursday
Yeeeeeee Haaaaa GIGGITTY,
MIAMI DOLPHINS FOOTBALL
BRING IT,
GOFINS!!!
LMAO
the UK article on BTC does NOT shake BTC investors, not even a tiny bit, why?
because btc investors have already seen thousands of articles similar to it, with little to no effect
Japan and South Korea are the largest investors, if Japan and south korea ban it, im terrified and selling ASAP,
it takes me less than 15 seconds to convert to USD
BTC $10,108 now, its risen about $50 in the last few minutes we were discussing it, lol
BTC will make the negative nellies pissed off, no need for it, they can buy it too if they want
This dude is like a guy who made the jump from superfan to the big time. Try to find posts from our beat reporters like that.
BTC is NOTHING like a US stock, not even close
one is shares of companies, bought and sold in the US
coins can be mined, and are an international asset. i have heard these arguments for years,
all i can say is if u think BTC is like a stock, do not buy any, You will likely lose
u cant just buy btc and cross your fingers, there has to be a entry and exit strategy, based on what the asset will do in the future
the mining part of the blockchain is why i can predict coins better than stocks
David — do you know of one other person on this board who invests in Bitcoin? I could start talking about my dogs, but probably only The Doggy would care. Gotta think about the audience you are playing too.
i dont personally know of any here, but i also dont know what everyone invests in.
if Your dogs are tripling in value, , i would be interested in You discussing it, lol
am i allowed to answer questions i have been asked about it? i have not recommended anyone buy it unless they understand it
i dont talk about BTC much, this is the first time in weeks.
but if the discussion starts, it should be ok to discuss it IMO, u think so?
nothing went over my head, i understand his question, i just happen to have my own opinions like everyone else. i am respectful about it, and You are not respectful
what i dont understand is why you are always angry and combative, i would suggest anger management
David — you can talk about what you want, but does seem there are a lot of posts about you investments. We’ve gone Bitcoin into pot stocks into penny stocks and now back to Bitcoin. And it is cool you are active in that, but not a lot of people can relate. I can to an extent, but even then only tangentially.
i havent seen any discussion on pot stocks, but thanks for your respectful opinion
No, shit just goes over his head, like the joke Mike made, and then babbles endlessly.
See what I mean?
stocks are far from guaranteed also, check out HMNY
stocks can go to zero, ive seen it
We got some Cox, no Ballage
————————-
So, they were shooting blanks today, huh
Sucks being neutered.
LMAO — guess that happened after the Phin Pup came along.
Stanger, who was discussing pot stocks? i have not discussed them today
You are correct… not today.
ok, but just curious, then why did u call me out on it?
I didn’t call you out — just pointed out we talk about your investments a lot, a lot when most people can’t relate. But if that is calling you out then I did. You give intra-daily updates at times.
Rock – 2 good Rosen days in a row. Nervous?
Damn Mikey you shook the tree didn’t ya. BTW, David i think ya missed the jok in what Mikey was replying lol.
i will just post what i want , sorry Stanger, no disrespect meant, i just feel discusssion is open .
right now i feel like posting You shouldnt have called me out on pot stocks, but have a great day, its time for a late lunch, im starved
Didn’t know the pot stock thing was a particular sore spot…. so sorry for that. Enjoy your lunch.
no worries Stanger, i still love ya buddy, lunch was good so You get a break, lol
gawd my jokes are bad, but anyway
stanger, its not you, its just many times i get called out for stuff i never did, and sometimes it gets old defending yourself against stuff u didnt do
but i dont usually get that from You
no hard feelings buddy, and your dog discussion is always alright with me too, i friggin love dogs, i wish the wife would let me get one without complaining of the mess
I am loving EVERYTHING that we hear, read, and see coming out of training camp regarding our new coach and how this team is being rebuilt from the ground up.
Really liked this bit from NFL.com:
“””Flores, who spent his entire pre-Dolphins coaching career with the New England Patriots, doesn’t want to hear the ‘T’ word — at all.
“I’m not a big fan,” Flores said. “I think the word (tanking) is disrespectful to the game that I love. I think to use that term, for a group of guys to hear that, it’s absurd — when they’re out here spending hours in the building, preparing in the offseason, running in the heat, practicing in the heat, meetings, walkthroughs, weights. To put that type of effort in, and the idea that we’re not gonna go try to win every game, it’s disrespectful to the game that’s brought a lot [of happiness] for me and a lot of other people. Especially since this is the (NFL’s) 100-year anniversary.
“You want to get me fired up, keep going in that direction.”””
That’s been my view about tanking the entire time. It’s totally disrespectful but the giggling reporters and silly fans ramble on with it. So be it! Glad our HC and team don’t. 🙂
Yep!
“””Said Flores: “I think there’s a discipline, a toughness, a respect for the game that I learned in New England that I think is just basic, the way football’s supposed to be taught and practiced and preached. Those things that are basically foundational — hard work, high standards, playing for your teammates, putting the team first — those things are ingrained in my fabric. How those are expressed, that’ll come from me … who I am as a person. And that’s different.”””
“””Early in training camp, Flores tried talking some trash to the team’s wideouts, saying, “We’ll see if these receivers can block.” Veteran Kenny Stills immediately engaged, reminding Flores that it was he who sprung the block that freed then-Miami running back Brandon Bolden on a 54-yard run in a Dec. 9 home game against the Patriots, which the Dolphins eventually won on a miracle play as time expired.
“You wanna talk about last year?” Flores shot back. “We don’t talk about last year!”
The back-and-forth continued between Stills and his coach throughout the drill.
“He talks real, cash-money s—,” Stills said admiringly. “He’s not backing down at all, and he doesn’t freak out if you come at him, either.””””
——————–
Apparently Flores needs to read this blog, then he’d know Stills doesn’t block.
I’m pretty fucking pumped up to see this team in action next week!!
