Today HOF Miami Dolphins LB Nick Buoniconti passed away. He was the leader of the “No Name Defense” that helped the Dolphins win two Super Bowls. He was a very charitable, impressive individual outside of sports. He will be sorely missed.
RIP Nick Buoniconti
So training camp is here and I’ve failed to feel any excitement other than the dact that it started. I don’t think it’s the team’s fault necessarily, i think it’s just the nature of practices, how short they are, and how much less physical they have to be to meet today’s safety standards. We also had one of our coaches fired this week, pretty odd at this juncture. You could look at this a few different ways. If you want the positive spin, it’s great that Flores recognized a deficiency early enough and immediately took action. Some guys may have waited around to see if there was any improvement which could easily have cost us some poor play early on. Also on a positive spin, putting the O-line in the hands of Dave DeGuglielmo is a good thing as he is a very experienced coach, coaching since 2004. If you want to look at the negative side, Flaherty wasn’t a great hire for the rookie Head Coach Flores. He was also previously the O-line coach in 2017 for the Dolphins and I needn’t remind you we were awful as per usghe at that time. In any case, let’s hope for the best in this regard.
I was hoping to see some player really show well, and so far it’s just been a whole lot of “eh”. We signed former Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns, who played briefly last year for the Cowboys. I really liked Hurns when he was tearing up the league along with Allen Robinson at Jacksonville. If we get something close to that Allen Hurns we did very well. I was unrealistically hoping for a strong start from QB Josh Rosen. I didn’t really expect it this early but was hoping for a surprise. Instead we found out he never had to identify the MLB in any stop in his football career. Seems so odd to me, I thought it was a given. This doesn’t make him any less a QB, but just something he will need to learn, and Josh Rosen has been a player who studies the game, so bet on him getting this down, as well as the offense too.
Anyone think maybe Charles Harris would be tearing things up? Another thing I hoped for, but it’s very early yet, and he’s going to have a chance to make some hay as the preseason games begin 8/8, just a week and a half away! One guy who the coaches seem to be very high on early on is LB Jerome Baker. He’s going to be an impact player, taking off from where he left last year. He can do it all, run, tackle, cover and rush the passer and he will be asked to do all of those things. An early revelation has Minkah playing mostly slot corner, but I would think by the time the season starts, he will be doing a lot more as he did last season. As long as he’s doing things he’s great at, let it happen.
Things I look for to change in the next couple of weeks. I want Gug’s to try and find that starting 5 as quickly as he can and get them playing together as much as possible. I think the earlier we do that the better chance we have of having a cohesive unit out there. I also want to see guys take step forward, especially the aforementioned Charles Harris and Josh Rosen. Whether Rosen begins the season as the starter is not crucial to me, but to know he’s good enough to do so if needed is. I would really like it if he makes leaps and bounds in understanding the offense and making better throws under duress. If he doesn’t accomplish this, we may not see him this year as a starter unless of course something happens to Fitz or he just plays awful, neither of which I want to see.Training camp runs until Aug 6th, and then our forst game action as I mentioned will be August 8th at home against Atlanta.
GO DOLPHINS!
#staythecourse

Well Like I said I’m willing to go through a more stringent background check!
So there’s my pound of flesh!
I don’t understand the opposition to it. I have family members and friends who own guns and are collectors. They would have no problem with more stringent background checks and laws for gun ownership. If you’re a law abiding citizen and a gun owner, what are you worried about?
I don’t think a lot of gun owners really have a huge problem with it
Wyo just said he doesn’t because he has nothing to worry about. So who’s holding it up and why?
I think it’s because of all of the other things they attach to every bill.

I’ve never heard anything close to a good argument for not making voter ID mandatory in all states. Cheating is the reason for it, so all the Russian hacking people out there contradict themselves every time they bring it up.
****
I actually haven’t heard too many good arguments either
But my point is, when you register, there’s a verification process
The arguments I hear Are usually about access or long lines
I’m not so sure they are great reasons to stop a verification process
But there is a verification process
I don’t think voter fraud is the problem some prominent politicians seem to make it to be
We haven’t had voter turnout at 60% or more since 1968
Voter turnout is woefully low
I’m much more concerned with increasing access to vote for eligible voters than making it harder in anyway for eligible voters
It’s a lot more important that we increase voting
I don’t mind a rigorous verification process
But it’s not anywhere the priority of bringing people to vote is
I agree with finding ways to increase the voter turnout, making Election Day a federal holiday and requiring ID at the time of vote. While registering does verify at that time, you should have to show that you were the person that registered. Also think absentee ballots should be limited to deployed military and diplomats or at least should require some sort of verifiable proof that you cannot make it to a ballot box.

Stangerx – My problem with making new laws based on emotions and letting the government solve our problems is they give us ATSA, DHS and TSA. They do little more than grow the government. None of the 9/11 hijackers actually took anything on the airplanes that was illegal to carry on at the time. Yet how did the government respond? By creating a 50,000-person+ agency to run screening at airports. By giving the government carte blanche to spy on US citizens in the name of security. By eroding America’s freedoms.
Our problem isn’t a lack of laws. It’s a lack of morals and personal responsibility. It’s a lack of common sense, respect, and civility. It’s a lack of a sense of history. We, and our children are bombarded, inundated, with violent imagery, hopelessness, and chaos everyday. There is no downtime, always connected, no filters.
Well said.
Don’t get me started on what both the content and manner in which the younger folks are getting their info and how their views are shaped today is a problem. But not sure how to solve that other than if I had a kid they would be unwired a bunch of hours each week and have to read a book.
Same time — I do believe that laws can make a difference for the better. The right laws at least. But then my job used to be to get such passed…. so maybe am biased as to that particular avenue.
Tim, the don’t give them an audience argument is the same as burying your head in the sand.
It’s the same thing we say here when someone goes off and people say just don’t engage them. So what do you suggest we do, shoot them? If someone is a silent radical racist who doesn’t unveil themselves to you as Piggy said, what are we suppose to do? That’s like trying to figure out that someone is planning on becoming a serial killer in their mind but isn’t making it public. All of this stuff comes down to people being emotional and understandably so, to find some sort of rock solid utopia. It’s not possible.
“Rock solid utopia” — not sure exactly what that would be, but am for it! 🙂

Well, for one, the Dolphins would win the Superbowl a lot more than they have… 😉
I don’t think organized hate groups like KKK and Antifa are that numerous or widespread, but I think the impact of their rhetoric on the mentally unstable is problematic. It creates the lone wolf attacks like most of them are. And those are the hardest to prevent, whether in antiterrorism or law enforcement.
That’s who Dylan Roof was. That’s what this recent guy was as are most of them like you said. Not sure how you stop it unless you can get into their minds and that would be the most oppressive violation of individual rights technology that there is. What was that movie with Tom Cruise about that? He could prevent the crime before it happened because he knew it was going to happen.
The Minority Report.
That’s it.
IT’S STILL OK TO TALK FOOTBALL, RIGHT?

YOUNG STANGER; Check your email.
————
This time last year I got my Fins tickets but NO PARKING Passes! Two years prior I had neither tickets nor passes and I didn’t get them for EITHER HOME EXHIBITION GAME!! Barely got them in time for the regular season!!
NOW, this year, I’ve got the parking passes BUT NO GAME TICKETS!!!!
THAT’S 3 OUT OF THE LAST 4 SEASONS STEVE ROSS’S TICKET DEPARTMENT HAS FUCKED-UP MY TICKETS!!!!!! AND YOU WONDER WHY Long time season ticket holders (like my “gang of 9” ) have STOPPED ATTENDING DOLPHIN GAMES!!!!
——————
It’s no exagerration to say that I’ve had more ticket/parking pass problems during the Steve Ross era than I had in the 40+ prior years of Robbie/Huizenga ownership!! I’d be hard pressed to decide if ROSS has done a worse job of picking Head Coaches, General Managers, Presidents of Football Operations OR (Drum Roll, Please) —TICKET DIRECTORS!!! Ross has been an absolute disaster IN ALL FOUR CATEGORIES!!
—————–
i’M HOPING TO ATTEND the regular season home opener with the one and only Young Stanger. But, with Steve Ross’s ticket department, one never knows!!
—————-
PS: Last year, AFTER the pre-season, I GOT TWO SETS of parking passes! ROSS’S boy actually asked me to hand-deliver (from Tampa) my extra set of passes to his rep in Miami!!! –AT my expense, of course!! AS a good will gesture, I actually brought them to the Fins next home game. But no one was at the designated Public Relations table to receive them!!!
HOW STEVE ROSS IS THAT???????
OD – Ross obviously reads us and has personal a vendetta against you.
PHELON: I don’t believe for one second that Ross either reads this blog OR has a vendetta against me. I just believe he is INCAPABLE of finding the right people to run his football franchise AT ALMOST ANY LEVEL. In fact, I’m not sure ANY of his employees can correctly spell VENDETTA!!
You sure? Seems like a lot coincidence to me.
And here I thought you were going to comment on Rosen’s progress? 😉
I’ve got partial season tickets for VGK, and everything is done electronically. I suppose they’d give you a paper ticket, if you asked. I’m pretty you could go the E route and avoid this mess😉
STEVE: It was going “the E route” that first got me in this mess four years ago. Since then, I have opted for the paper ticket in my yearly questionnaire response to the ticket office. Your response is so-o-o reasonable, yet, with Ross’s people involved, the system is fucked-up no matter WHICH CHOICE YOU MAKE!!!!!
I have a ticket rep I go through, dont you?
OD — better half is away, but asked her if OK to come out and play Sept 8.
YOUNG STANGER: Shall we meet in the same stadium bar we’ve always met at??
If it is cleared my all powerful…..then yes.
OK, YS!! Last year the Fins started with 3 wins in their first 4 games.
Everybody is saying El Paso was a white nationalist, and in part he was, but if you read his manifesto mostly he was just deranged.
So are many white nationalists…lol
Phish, it seems we always have a way to stall progress and we all know it’s on purpose. It never ends.
Yep. If they put a clean background check bill up with no riders, it would pass. Understand that it would solve anything unless they address the input issue, but it might weed out a few more that shouldn’t own a gun.
In football news, anybody wishing we had Antonio Brown on the team?
Nah he sucks, let those shitty ass Vegas fans have him.
Should have signed with the Browns. Then they have all three Prima Donna WR.
YOUNG STANGER: Response for you about 6 spots up the page.
Responded there.
Got it.
Phelon — mental instability is a screwy thing. Used to try to help parents who had kids with delusional disorders, particularly schizophrenia. For the ones with paranoid features, there was always some all powerful controlling their life or that they were fighting against. When started most common were God, the devil, and the CIA (or some other government power). After 9/11 by far the one I heard most about was Al Queda. So yeah what was in the news mattered.
Am guessing Trump, deep state, illegal immigrants and the jews who “want to replace us” are on the delusion hit list these days. Also think they can find some siloed conspiracy site that just feeds the paranoia even more.
Yup yup.
It’s no different than islamists making suicide bombers or a particularly effective interrogation technique…Feed their fears and encourage the behaviors that you want.
Exactly like that. ISIS tried to radicalize muslims in the US with limited success. But now our folks are radicalizing our own in various ways.
Now sure if thi was posted, but a 21 point hit list on the first week:

MLB is so bad at calling balls/strikes it’s gotten to be unwatchable. Many times the pitches aren’t even close that they call strikes on.
They were so inconsistent last night in the Mets/Pirates game. Keith Hernandez was laughing about it saying I don’t mean to laugh but geez.
I tried again in the 7th, Dodgers vs Padres, but SOS.
Would love to TE position become a weapon someday in Dolphin O. Maybe it starts this year:
https://www.miamidolphins.com/news/veteran-dwayne-allen-bringing-leadership-to-tight-ends-group
It would be nice if Miami remembered how to use a TE.
I don’t even remember, but it strikes me when I see NE do it.
Old school and I love it:
https://dolphinstalk.com/2019/08/04/brian-flores-old-school-approach/
That’s why he believes in utilizing a fullback, he believes teams are not very prepared to deal with fullbacks in today’s game and being a former LB in college he respects the role of a fullback. I love it too. I hope Cox can be that for us and sometimes Wilkins. 😉
Yep….stay the course, old school!
Wear them down and win in the 4th. Great idea for a rebuild.
Well my driver won!
Wow…56. Shows that you never know when it’s coming. Live your life well.
Fuckin Ed Reed with a hat that looks like a wooden toilet seat.
Enshrinement ceremony.
New Age, the motto of the Pats offense which is based off of the Erhardt-Perkins offensive system is pass to score and run to win. We have all watched how the Pats will be in shotgun a good portion of the game, get a nice lead and then they morph into a power running game. That’s what I think we’re going to try to emulate. Why not, Flores and O’Shea come from that philosophy. Do whatever it takes to win the game that week. The same on defense.
mass shooting in chicago now, SMH its out of control, we may have to act on this before the whole shithouse goes up in flames
its impossible to discuss gun control when there is not emotions, the murderers dont give us free time, they strike with impunity, 3 in the last 2 days
the NRA supports terrorism for profit, and put money in trumps pocket
this is partially why trump wont stop the rapidly increasing amount of mass shootings
sensible gun control is needed NOW, but he prefers a fat wallet to our safety
which one???????
https://twitter.com/DamianMerlos/status/1158047307348287488?s=20
All share the blame, trump, house and senate
Chicago has this go on every week. David, please stop with making it political all the time. You think it’s going to stop if Trump isn’t president? That’s extremely naive. You are very knee-jerk about this sort of stuff.
What naive Is, ignoring problems and hoping they go away
It has to be addressed, this has gone on for many years, not knee jerk
Knee jerk isn’t years, you are naive if You think this is knee jerk when it’s gone on for decades, only getting much worse now
Well you just repeated my point but you’re putting it on Trump and that is ridiculous. It’s not about a president, you say it is and then say decades. WTF are you actually saying?
are you aware of our history of gun control? im sure You are, then no need to ask
its gone on for far too long, and getting worse,We already know this, arguing over stuff we already know is a waste of both of our times
what we need now is bipartisan agreement to tackle this difficult matter , and president and congress must get the ball rolling, the sooner the better
Trump said ‘perhaps’ more needs to be done on gun control following two mass shootings
Perhaps?’ Why was nothing done after Parkland? It’s a must
btw trump,it’s not 2, it’s 4 in the last week, it’s hard to keep up
But the issue has caught up to his attention, he will have to act now and be a president to all of us
He said his administration has done a lot, but: “Perhaps more has to be done.”
Straight from the horses mouth, this is trump finally accepting some responsibility, realizing thoughts and prayers were not enough . Hopefully this is a first step to safety, not a re election strategy
Tim,
You can always complain about Me later, but top priority remains the safety of all Americans, including us
We need the president and congress to provide sensible gun control, and make serious efforts to stop the murders now
What your idea of sensible gun control?
I went by what you said. Not sure you even realize how you mix it all together in your rants then say it’s not about that.
Yes we have a crisis in this country, but blaming one person is absurd. Gun control is not going to stop this because black markets always step in.
What makes people do this sort of thing is the root cause. Deranged minds will find other methods of madness and you know that. We need to stop political infighting and gather together to find solutions. What is causing this?
TIM, You keep inflating Me with the current problem. thats ridiculous.
i am not the president and congress
i am not ranting, im pissed off Americans are dying, everyone should be
is that clear enough?
dont expect David to pass common sense gun control bills, expect it of congress and trump has to sign off on it
Gotta love using tragedy to push an agenda
It’s always been okay for Democrats to be openly racist and here’s another example. I would love to see how people would respond if someone said that about a minority group. Can we all get a fuckin clue already?!!!!!
David what Tim is saying is how can you call Trump out for it, he wasn’t president for all of them. A lot happened on Obama’s watch too. This partisan BS about who to blame is just agenda. It’s about the 2020 election and not fixing the problem
Thank you!
I don’t blame Trump, but I do draw correlations to his support of “there are good people on both sides”, people marching in unison to chants of “Jews will not replace us.” There is no good in racism or that side. Period!
If video games and social media and conspiracy theories are allowed correlations to twisted behavior, then WH rhetoric has a responsibility, too. You can’t support one, but not the other. Isn’t there a goose/gander saying?
90%+ of Americans support background checks, yet nothing has been done.
Accept the consequences of these decisions and embrace the carnage!!!
Do nothing and breathe.
The problem as far as I can find out most of the bills have been tagged on by stuf that was not except able!
Like Phelon said. Just put the background checks by it’s self and it will pass!
Don’t add any shit with it!
Fine, excellent, get Mitchell to put it on the floor tomorrow! It’s the least that can be done and the right thing to do.
how can i call trump out for it? we already know the answer, the president and congress need to act now, he is the president for now
how does the president escape all responsibility for the country? then why do we need him if he cant do anything or isnt responsible?
we can always find another president that is renting out his golf clubs for weddings in between the el paso and dayton murders, who needs him?
My apologize to anyone I offended this morning!
I was a little triggered with what went on and what was said!
I’m a little tired of being the 50+ year old white male that is the problem with society today! 😉
we are all victims of the problem at this point, we have no choice but to band together and demand equal rights for all Americans like the constitution states
Ya think?
STEVECCNV: Just saw your post up the page. To answer your question, YES, I do have a sales rep I go through. I’ve had several of them over the last few decades. In “the old days” I would receive a form from the Dolphins, send them a check in January or February, and, “BINGO,” my tix and parking passes would arrive a few months later. I had no designated sales reps or ticket agents. And no phone conversations were necessary unless you moved OR wanted to upgrade your tickets. One year in the mid-1990’s my ticket package was stolen in the mail. Eventually nearly 100 employees of the Columbus, Ohio, postal system were arrested for stealing a large number of mailed items. Meanwhile, in about a week, Huizenga’s ticket office called me long distance to let me know my replacement seasons tix would be delivered to my house in Ohio within three days. They arrived THE NEXT DAY!
———–
THINGS are far, far different today at Steve Ross’s ticket office.
OUT for tonight. Y’all have a great week.
AND, to Mike E.,THANKS so very much for all the news you put in your columns.
Don Lemon, Kamala Harris, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and many more have said the greatest threat in America are white males. So what does that mean, we’re all the same? Think about that. Can they be anymore hypocritical and ignorant? They all have white male significant others. I guess every white male but their loves. WTF is going on?!!!! Then people say not sure why you think that. Because they fuckin said it. Not me! I don’t broad brush a whole group of people about this sort of thing. And therein lies the problem. Selective bigotry when it feeds their narrative. I’m not a religious guy but somewhat spiritual. But I’ll say this… God Bless America because we’re trying to destroy the greatest melting pot on the planet. Good luck young ones, we’re going to leave you in ruins.
do you think african americans or other minorities should blindly trust racists?
that wont work out well for them
No idea what that even means. I guess they all love the white cock while they forget their agenda for an hour or so.
No!
But you shouldn’t blindly think I’m a racist because I’m a white male either!!!!! And that is the rhetoric being spewed this morning!
Wyoming, i do NOT think You are a racist, i think , bullshit, I KNOW You are a great guy
when and where did AOC say that?
See D’s 7:34 post.
3 great RB’s right there!
Even Orob would have to agree! 😉

———————————-
That’s because you “know me”!
But the rest of the world loves to hate whitey!
It’s all I read this morning before blowing up on here!
don lemon said that, not aoc
what lemon said is correct, white males are Americans number one terrorists, far outnumbering muslims, mexican rapists, and AOC or other common fearmongering targets
By the way, does anyone realize Barack had a white mother? But all we heard was black, black, black. Who’s all about color and race?
i think most know that, but it has no relevance to murders in the streets
No president does.
Speaking of getting your facts right!
Not that it really matters now!
but both shooters were registered Democrats, which kinda blows holes in the Trump Terrorist narrative.
trump was also a lifelong democrat
btw, people can register for any party they want, doesnt mean they support that party
i am registered republican but hate republicans, i waned to vote in the republican primaries so i changed my registration
no holes blown in anything, registration doesnt prove party loyalty, it only proves the party choice of the registration
Now I’m speechless????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
in florida, You cannot vote in a parties primary unless you are registered to that party
nobody has said all white males are terrorists, what they are saying is white males are the number one demographic group of terrorism, but trump is already ignoring this, claiming the shootings were just mentally ill, but never just says the muslims or mexican rapists were just mentally ill
he always covers the white male ass first and foremost, much to the delight of white supremacists/
so obviously we cannot blame it all on muslims or mexican rapists, or AOC, nor can we think the stupid wall will do anything to prevent terrrorism
we need a capable president and capable congress to get this done, don lemon cannot pass a single bill
Make my point much?????? 😉
Lucky bastard!
we dont know he got lucky, lol but the odds must have been good

Actually I’m in Texas for a bit!
lol are the fl primaries in texas now, damn that will make tough logistics for FL voters
a 21-year-old white man is accused of opening fire in a Walmart in El Paso, killing 20 people and injuring dozens more after writing a manifesto railing against immigration and announcing that “this attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas.”
who else do we know that rails constantly against the immigrant invasions at the border?
don lemon? fat chance on that, its the president
trump cannot say his hateful rhetoric has nothing to do with it, he should resign for the sake of all Americans if he truly cannot take the responsibility of a president and represent America with solutions
Read the whole story!
I have!
It says he doesn’t approve of interracial marriage! and wanted the states broken up by race so they couldn’t intermingle!
Not exactly why Trump complains about ILLEGAL immigration!
Different message!
Nice try though! 😉
Before Trump what was the problem with shootings and bombings? These mass shootings are not the only violent crimes that go on everyday. David, you’re white, I guess you’re the problem just due to the pigment of your skin? Pretty absurd eh?
You come off to me like a Jacoby & Meyers ambulance chaser type ad. Not sure if you see them down by you, they are money hungry litigation attorney ads. It’s not always about the actual act, but suing someone who might have lead the perp to do it. No individual responsibility. Let’s just get as many $$$$$$$ as we can. No conscience.
dont worry about me, im none of your business
you dont have to care about other Americans if u dont want too, good luck in your life
the political discussion was good, but im done for now,
i am happy we are all here to discuss it, and not lying in blood on the sidewalk, like many other Americans today
David I found you someone to vote for!
its not time to vote, its time to take action
trump said today this has gone on for too long, and it must be stopped
thats actually encouraging if he is genuine, time will tell.
but i think we have to give trump and congress a chance to stop it like he said
i hope he is genuine and wants to stop it
wyoming85, I don’t remember anyone attacking you personally as a white male or a racist. Lol….I’m a white male and suspect most on this blog are white males.
I do think it’s odd the vast majority of the gun carnage reaped on innocent people at garlic festivals, churches, schools, and concerts are white males. Why is that and why is it ignored as being relevant?
I have yet to read about radicalized Mexicans, Canadians, Indians. Asians, Koreans, Japanese, etc. and most immigrants for that matter. Quite the “invasion” going on out there. Geez, loueez,
Jihadists, I have heard of and pressure cookers can be weaponized by anyone.
Domestic terrorism is mostly white troubled men. Facts are facts.
I am probably a white troubled man but I choose sarcasm and histrionics to get my point across.
good post, may we all find a way to live in peace
trump said its gone on for too long and must be stopped, i agree
have a good evening , im out
I dont see too many of those being women, so the next largest demographic here is white males, so odds are…
But I’m going to call BS on this, and say most of these shootings aren’t white males, they’re just the ones we’re hearing about. We’ve already heard the fake narrative from the left that these were far right actors, when in fact both El Paso and Dayton were registered dems.
By all accounts, Patrick Crusius, the 21-year-old alleged shooter, is a fan of President Donald Trump and his policies. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a “Twitter account bearing the suspect’s name contains liked tweets that include a ‘BuildTheWall’ hashtag, a photo using guns to spell out ‘Trump,’” and more.
his inspiration was trump, who was a former democrat, and the build the wall mantra belongs to trump as well, we have all heard it
a photograph of him using guns to spell trump? hes a die hard trumper
call bs if you like, but he was inspired by hateful rhetoric from the president, and is a fan of him as well
a photograph of him with guns spelling out trump? proves the democrats were his inspiration?
SMH
Shake your head all you want, but I think you’re not capable of reading a post and comprehending what is written. I call BS to most of these mass murders being white males and you go on a rant about the guys political leanings.
People are making these horrific acts political and it’s sad on so many levels. Just like extreme yahoos who thought the Sandy school shooting in CT didn’t happen, it was staged. Faux reality equals faux results.
the shooter made it political, we were only discussing his motivations
These mass murder events are probably at least 70% committed by white males, but white males also make up about 70% of the male population in America. Now if you are talking murder commuted in the US with a firearm you are going to find that it’s a not higher percentage in white males any longer.
The point is this. This is not a fucking black white issue and what are we discussing now. This is what the media and the politicians want. We shouldn’t be talking black and white, AOC shouldn’t be drawing racial correlations that are not there.
We should be talking about the right way to fix this and it’s a lot more complex than just controlling guns. That’s probably part of the discussion but it doesn’t need to be the while discussion as it always winds up being.
Why are we talking domestic terrorism. Neither of these qualify, neither did Las Vegas neither did Sandy Hook or many of the others. That’s not a word to casually throw around. These were all mass murders but without a tie to an organization or the purpose of the event to control through fear others, then this is mass murder.
they do qualify , why do we have to argue over it all night, why cant we all agree it must be stopped like trump said?
Every single person here wants it to stop bro
thank You, i wholeheartedly agree
They don’t qualify. Do you know what terrorism is?
yes, i looked it up just to be sure, i posted the definition earlier
Semantics? Call it what you want. It’s disgusting.
The point is white guys are doing it, not immigrants. Just because you call it BS doesn’t mean it’s BS.
I’d be hard pressed to believe the people that were killed and the survivors weren’t terrorized by this event. But, if calling it a mass murder if it makes you feel better, ok.
If bullshit word games and disbelief of facts is where you want to start, I’m out.
Embrace the death of innocent people and destruction of people’s lives. It’s all good.
im with ya krishna
No David they are making it political. Look at my post. That came from AOC’s Twitter. She went full in political agenda.
No she didn’t! I decided that. That’s all it takes. You’re racist! 😉
hey are responding to what happened, AFTER THE MURDERS
they didnt inspire him to commit murder, and the el paso shooter doesnt have a photo of AOC spelled out in guns, its trump spelled out, and he has a hastag build the wall
aoc is not encoraging hatred to immigrants, and encouraging build the wall, thats on trump
Trump says hate has no place in America, so i assume he will tone down his hateful rhetoric to avoid inspiring el paso idiots, and synagogue shooters, etc. or at least i hope so for all of our sakes
they are responding
You are right, AOC is encouraging hate towards white males.
i never said that, and no she isnt
its a strange night when i am the only one defending trump, wtf
he said it must be stopped, now its time to do it
The el paso shooter manifesto declares the imminent attack “a response to the Hispanic invasion,” accuses Democrats of “pandering to the Hispanic voting bloc,” rails against “traitors,” and condemns “race mixing” and “interracial unions.” “Yet another reason to send them back,” it says.
where did the shooter hear those words from? the same guy he had a photo of spelled out in guns? its a nobrainer who inspired him
They don’t even know, if he wrote the manifesto yet. People on the left love jump to conclusions.
are you on the left now? because u were quick to draw conclusions based on his voting registration last nite
Krishna, words mean something. Semantics are important. Terrorism could define this last guys action if it comes out he was part of a radical group and the act was an act of that group. Terrorism is an organized even to strike fear into a group of people and random acts of violence, even ones on that are on this scale.
The problem with labeling it wrong is it gets treated different. For example you don’t deal with terrorism by gun control. You deal with the terrorist group. So you want this handled right, don’t call it what it isn’t just for the sake of using a hot topic word.
Krishna,
White guys kill people too. Is that really shocking? It sounds racist as hell how you say it though. Like white people do certain things other people can’t. Did you ever read about Rwanda? Did you read about Mao’s takeover of China? Pol Pot? Do you read about the almost daily murders in Chicago? Baltimore? Where is your outrage over that? Does it only matter when white people die? Is that it?
I asked this earlier with no answers. If this guy hated Mexicans so much, why did he go to a Walmart and not a Mexican neighborhood? I would have planned it a bit better if my goal was just murdering immigrants. It’s almost like he had another agenda. Like maybe getting famous like that guy in Australia or something. I wonder if he got what he wanted? Seems like it….
if you have ever been to a TX border town You would know there are mexicans aplenty
walmart draws the crowd, he wanted crowds of people,. there was a back to school sale going on
crowds of Mexicans, and Americans together
i have been to brownsville TX, and i was pretty much the only white guy around
the dallas guy knew it, and went there for his targets
He drove went to a Walmart in El Paso Texas a city on the border with a Latino population of over 80%. That’s a Walmart inside a Mexican neighborhood
Let’s not be naive about it
Ok, that was me being naive.
Embrace the “mass murder” and hateful rhetoric from WH. Comments like, ‘the invasion of caravans of “murderers and rapists” must be stopped,’ has ZERO correlation or motivation to these mass murders.
Why is governor Abbott (TX) calling this a hate crime and promising the death penalty?
100 round magazines in Dayton. That’s a lot of “deer”. I thought there were limits on this on deer kill, Oh well, cull the herd.
It’s all good!
that dude was fruit loopy, wow
i’m sorry i posted that long POS, if an admin could take it down that would be great

Krishna
By the time I got to this site I was at the boiling point!
I made the mistake of going to twitter and facebook first!
Just thought I might have overreacted to ya’lls posts is all?
I know it was long Rob but I’m glad you posted it!
Thanks
I’m glad he posted it and I hope everyone reads it.
the fun never stops, last night someone broke all the windows in the cars in the neighborhood, missed mine cause i had it in the garage, and smashed up all the businesses too, including mine
i gave the police the license plate of the burglars, i had cameras in my retail shop
he also left his watch on the floor when he ripped my tv off the wall, trashed the place and left a shoe behind also
the police have their plates, fingerprints, the watch, the shoe, and the guy bled all over the floor from breaking the glass
CSI going over everything now,
shits gettin real, SMH
ill be installing metal bars this afternoon, and maybe even a few surprises for the next late nite visitors
the police apologized for being so late to show up, they claimed last night was their busiest night ever
yesterday was a horrible day for crime, across the nation, SMH
Keep us up to date!
ty, guy installing a new door now, all the glass swept up, we will be ready to open at 10 am like it never happenned, lol
except for a few missing items like the broken tv
That guy was definitely unhinged but also said some popular opinions unfortunately. I really want to blame the media for pushing this kind of histrionics but that won;t change. Climate change BS. Automaton BS. The USA being a primary environment destroyer instead of India, and India. I’d like the know where his anger against Mexican interracial unions came from? Did he like a Latino girl? Does a relative secretly feel the same way? I think #2.
Definitely a hate crime and I’m glad he was captured. They need to find out where he got this from.
The thing about unhinged people is that they gravitate to very negative things and act on them
It’s why people in powerful positions have to be careful about what they say
True dat.
his opinions have no merit, no respect for the murderers, he has no credibility, and he gets nothing but a trial and conviction if he is found guilty
just a quick trial and incarceration is needed for the asshole
next thing u know this creep gets a book and movie deal making him out some dark hero
im ignoring him, he wont be killing anymore
Interesting? I wonder if he’s an upgrade?
To those who think I have attacked them, Tim Knight, perhaps wyoming85, and others, this was never my intention.
I am an angry white man, too, for reasons that few know. However, it would not be an excuse to attack or hurt others.
My ‘histrionic little rant’ was intentional and meant to stir the pot. And, if stirring the pot means morbid sarcasm as some think, so be it. Sometimes the truth hurts if you care to look at hit.
I am sick of it and we as a nation do nothing about it. Instead of living with the hypocrisy, I choose to embrace the truth and consequences of these decisions. That is all.
It is what it is and I will try to be more respectful.
Lol…poof, the manifesto vanished!
there are other things missing today also, i was looking for some trump tweets about invasions, and couldnt find them anymore
it looks like some of trumps tweets are missing
Krishna, David is right about one thing. We need to start holding our politicians accountable. This stuff is forgotten within days by our leadership. Better background checks should have been a reality in 1999 with Columbine(beyond the band-aid they installed). It’s embarrassing and should be a election issue.
Is today a FOOTBALL day? I sure hope so.
I deleted the manifesto
Orob who posted it asked for it to be deleted within a tweet
thank You piggy, afrer thinking about it,
i feel we really shouldnt glorify or make him out special, or post any of his font he wants us to see, in any way, , even indirectly
the next terrorist could get inspiration from it some how
. never give criminals what they want, fuck em
Orob asked the administrators to do it…lol
I didn’t do it bc of what I thought about it. It wasn’t a judgment call on the content of the post.
i saw that, You made a good call Piggy, ty
i saw the burglars on cam, lmao they were stupid, they backed up to the door for a quick getaway, exposing their license plate SMH
florida registered cars, dont have plates on the front, only the back
they had 2 cars, and their was 7 burglars involved
if they would have just pulled in, there would have been no license plate for the cameras, dumb crook news
Were they “white extremists”? 😉
i didnt interview their beliefs, nor do i care what they believe
i did see them on cam thou, they were wearing white tyvek suits and gloves
the fat guy that didnt do shit was strapped, his minions didnt appear to be
i will have some home alone type surprises for them next time
Of course not or he would’ve mentioned that.
its not important who they are, its important they get arrested
they werent wearing left and right patches on their tyvek suits, its not possible nor do i care who and what they are, they broke in, and are deserving of arrest
criminals dont get favors no matter what, fuck em all
their there
damn, the glass guys are fast, in an hour they replaced a half dozen doors and 2 windows in a strip mall,,\
all they need is a truck with a window rack and some basic tools, easy money
Minkah behind Bobby McCain on the first depth chart. Doesn’t really mean anything now, but interesting nonetheless
Have yiou seen the depth chart?
Mke Hull is not even on it and Chandler Cox is listed as 6th string RB.
I read he’s not doing a good job of opening holes.
They don’t list a FB separately so that’s why he’s listed as 6th at RB. If they had a FB on the chart, he would be #1. Just like they don’t have slot corner where Minkah would be #1
The highest Cox might ever be is 4th on the depth chart
So I would give too much weight to where he is at the moment
If the team wants to keep and FB it an HBack, he’s probably going to be on the roster
I can almost guarantee we’ll have a FB on the roster. Whether it’s Cox or not depends on how he does, but it’s a part of our offense for sure.
I hope Cox stays, I renamed my FF team Cox and Ballage
Lol, I might have to steal that at some point.
its been so long wince we had a FB< we have to catch up to speed, lol
I agree about the FB and Minkah designations not fitting well into the depth chart , but still that’s a bit troubling for Cox.
Intersting that they do list 2 #1 RBs and 3 #1 TEs.
So they can put guys in as “ties” if they want to.
I would really like to see some OL improvement this year. I listen to the Le Betard show for their ridiculousness but they rightly mentioned how much we’ve spent on OL the past decade for it to still suck. It’s probably my main issue this year. No QB will succeed with the garbage they threw out on the ‘scrimmage’. It’s almost embarrassing that the only great OL we have is a guy who we shouldn’t have had a chance to draft and was a no-brainer. There has been zero significant teaching and training of OL in forever. Revolving door of garbage honestly.
It isn’t that they haven’t tried to fix the OL!
They have just failed miserably! 😦
Lol, my hope is this group of coaches finally fixes that
So this is a list of mass killings, the 38 worst….. and here is the breakdown of whose presidency they happened under (just picking out the Obama and Trump ones, although hey account for over half the list). Ill link you to the whole list at the bottom.

Im not trying to make this a Obama vs Trump debate, im trying to show you guys who are all pointing a finger at the Trump administration, that you are on the wrong trail. You have been put on the trail of the wrong issue.
Desperate times for the Dems and far left. They’re pulling the racist card every chance they can. People are going to get tired of that, if they aren’t already. These shootings aren’t the fault of any President, it’s nonsense.
Sorry part of the obama list got cut off.
Orlando Night Club 49 Killed. Obama
Sandy Hook 27 Killed. Obama
San Bernadino 14 Killed. Obama
Fort Hood 14 Killed. Obama
Binghamton NY 13 Killed. Obama
Washington Navy Yard 12 Killed. Obama
Also to stop the “its all about gun control” argument. If you look at us historically, we have had access, even less restricted access to guns the whole time, and yes these things are on the rise not decline. How can you state that its the guns, and the access to the guns that the issue. There is no way to logically explain that. Im not saying there is any needd to own an assualt rifle, i dont have a dog int he fight because i personally down own guns, but i completely disagree with the argument thats how we fix this. Thats how you fix gun ownership, thats not how you fix crazy people using them to kill. You cant certainly do both, but if you stick to controlling the guns you never will get to the core of the issue.
Well said. I am not a gun owner, and I also don’t believe any citizen needs to own an assault rifle or any weapon that can discharge multiple rounds and have magazines that can fire 50 rounds. I know there are some that disagree but where do you draw the line on that? If someone could afford a tank, should they be able to have one because they think they need it. An RPG? A fighter jet? D is absolutely on the mark though, it’s mentally unstable people that are killing, not the guns. If someone drives a truck into a crowd, do you outlaw trucks?
Only the big trucks. I mean who needs a Dodge Power Wagon or an F-250?
Looks like the national pundits are right.
We have a lot of no-name players.
I noticed the TE depth chart lists them as OR so there are three “or” starters.
Also, depth chart is set up as 4-3 not 3-4
Just pointing it out.
What’s the thought on Reshad? I think he’s gone after this year but will he even last the entire season? Guy has been somewhat unhealthy during his career only starting 16 games only 4 out of 8 years he’s been a starter and he won’t start all 16 this year either. Out of 135 games he could have played, he has 109. Not Bob Sanders bad but there’s been more dependable worse paid safeties for sure.
I had hoped we could have traded him and got some nice value (3rd RD pick). I don’t think he’s in our long term plans, he’s not getting another contract here.
Holmes ahead of Hendrix
I know that is far down the chart at like #50, but still I know nothing about Holmes.
These bottom guys matter because of depth needed due to injury and also because our coaches are talking of playing more guys in multiple packages.
I thought Hendrix did well in the scrimmage so maybe he rises.
Right now it’s a purple haze, have to wait until things clear up
This kind of thing is sooner or later (maybe today) going to get Aikens cut.
He just does not play well as a DB.
Interesting that they have Tre Watson behind Raekwon when Eguavoen started TC playing Raekwon’s spot. Either he played himself down the chart or it’s just another anomaly of trying to fit people into little boxes on a spreadsheet.
