When I first heard the news that the Dolphins waived/injured our 5th RD pick Curtis Weaver I was furious. Sometimes I can’t help myself, I think “same old Dolphins”. I thought for $670K we could have put the kid on I/R and next year we’d have ready to go and see what he can do. Take a look at the picture up above, the dude is flexing and my modest biceps are bigger than that dudes, he looks soft. Still, Weaver was productive and many draft experts gave us high marks on that pick, a great value in the 5th RD. The Browns, who claimed Weaver have put him on I/R. To be fair, I thought Flores looked especially and unusually uncomfortable when asked about Curtis Weaver. Flores is pretty quick and direct and during the interview, he labored to answer why Weaver was cut which leads me to think there’s something more than we may ever find out. In any case, Weaver is a Brown now and you know what that means to me. (I’ll spare you the expletives)
Kalen Ballage’s career as a Miami Dolphin is also over. He leaves much like one other promising RB draft pick of the past left, in disappointing fashion. Daniel Thomas never fulfilled his potential and Kalen Ballage who I once thought could be our version of David Johnson “light” yet turned out to be David Johnson 20,000,000 gallons of helium. So with the waiving of Curtis Weaver and then the release of Kalen Ballage, the Dolphins signed DB Deatrick Nichols and claimed RB Salvon Ahmed, a former Washington Husky RB. I can’t blame Kalen Ballage completely because our organization doesn’t have a ton of cred evaluating RB’s. We traded away Ajayi (Gase), we traded away Kenyan Drake (who is flourishing with the Cards) and now gave up on Kalen Ballage. If Ballage does well elsewhere, that will amp up this feeling.
The camp battles so far are encouraging. Big Robert Hunt and Solomon Kindley are making noise, winning some battles and losing others but making a splash nonetheless. I like that last years 3rd RD pick Michael Deiter is getting a lot of reps at center and is most likely being groomed as the replacement for Ted Karras who is here on a 1 YR show me contract. I can actually see light at the end of the tunnel with this O-line. Eventually, I see Jackson – Flowers – Deiter – Kindley – Hunt, or maybe Jesse Davis continues his elevated play at RT and holds off Hunt and Hunt moves inside to RG and then Kindley is a very nice depth player to have. The QB’s have all had ups and downs and rookie phenom Tua Tagovailoa is not immune to that. This is expected, anyone who thought Tua was just going to ride onto the field on a unicorn and throw rainbow TD’s every throw was due for disappointment. He’s just getting started and I’m sure there is a lot the kid is trying to absorb at this point. He’s got talent, let him get up to speed. Honestly, I expect some play from mostly everyone with the limited amount of work players and coaches are able to get in. Hopefully as the season progresses, things will look better. If that happens, that’s a good thing. I think teams that have mostly the same personnel and coaches back have a clear advantage over teams with many new p-layers, new coaches and new systems. The Dolphins check all of those boxes so keep your early expectation low.
GO DOLPHINS!!

Piggy – Wouldn’t it be some shit if they said George Floyd died of COVID-19?
They did say that, because he was positive.
My wife and I stayed the night at the beach Wednesday. I got really fucked up. I ended up with whiskey dick and couldn’t do it. Is it ok that I blamed that on COVID? LOL
Sounds like a “Country” song! 😉
No, you can’t, sounds like a personal problem 😏 maybe we should just call you ED.
Mike can give you a “hand” with that
Huh? No hand needed.
You guys crack me up! I was good to go by early morning. LOL Shit happens when you drink liquor all day in the hot sun. lol
Not buying into this conspiracy theory, the numbers are accurate 🤔
“the health department has apologized for its mistake and the pain it may have caused the family.” — could have been someone with the same name.
Kyle Crabbs, reports like he has crabs, says:
Rosen’s big arm would be featured quite well in Bruce Arians’ vertical passing attack and for the first time in the NFL, Rosen would actually be throwing to top notch targets.
So Parker and Preston aren’t top targets?
Top notch targets
Steve – They did say Floyd tested positive for COVID-19 but it wasn’t listed as the cause of death, nor was the fentanyl which he was loaded on. They pick and choose when COVID-19 is an influence and that’s what makes it all a joke
You got me to look it up — he had tested positive almost 2 months before. They found evidence of it from a nasal swab but the ME said that is typical of someone who had either recovered or was asymptomatic. Given that not sure how any doc could point to it as a cause.
Look up how much fentanyl he was on and how his lungs were swollen 3 times their normal size as long as you’re in the researching mood.
I caught he had fentanyl in his system. He could have died because of it far as I know. Just didn’t get why Covid was pertinent for anyone of either side. But whatever his condition the cops handled it wrong….. why they got charged.
Stanger – My point is Tom Seaver had so many serious ailments, the largest being the dementia, but they have to list COVID-19 as the cause because it makes them feel better to add to the total. Nothing like padding numbers I say!
I don’t know enough about Seaver’s condition to comment one way or the other. But am curious as to who is “they.” Can guarantee though that my Mom had severe dementia but it was the cancer that killed her. If she had Covid at the end would still say the same. But if she’d died say 4 months before maybe would have been a judgment call.
But like said don’t know enough about Seaver to make those calls.
I find it curious because he was basically in seclusion, he wasn’t out in the public anymore, he stayed home. It’s odd that he would contract COVID-19.

Biggest thing for Austin Jackson, he says, was picking up the playbook he says. Making sure his technique is consistently specific to the play called. Just doing it over and over and over again so it became muscle memory.

Stanger – I think it’s very arbitrary, I think they attribute COVID-19 whether it was the cause or not to add to the numbers, following a certain agenda. It doesn’t matter because if they’re dead they’re dead, but who’s going to check and see if it was correct or not. It’s like no one died of a car accident or a gunshot or a lightning strike, they all died from COVID.
Why does the doc who calls time of death or the ME, if one, care about adding to the numbers or following an agenda? That’s the part I don’t get. Talking tens of thousands of docs and thousands of hospitals in both blue states and red.
They count it as covid, because they get paid more money to do so.
So listing Covid as a cause of death gets a hospital more money? Just not true my friend. Having a Covid may under certain federal reimbursement programs (and they would have already tested), but not as a cause of death….. and that is the subject.
Never gets old!! So glad to have been there.
I don’t think it’s random to call some ones death who had other ailments covid related. Covid is obviously going to make things worse and harder to treat and Less likely to survive something. It’s certainly a factor if some one dies who had it
If an obese person had a heart attack, people note the obesity. That’s not new. Trying to bifurcate every ailment so that we can downplay a deadly virus – that’s new!
There are things that make other ailments worsen. There always have been. Blood pressure goes up bc of stress. HIV patients who catch the flu are more likely to die. This didn’t start with covid. It’s always the way we’ve treated health
I’m a little surprised that people are still insisting on downplaying covid given how wrong so many people have been on the subject after downplaying it before
I mean if you want to argue that the cause of death shouldn’t be listed as covid, that’s reasonable
But people have been saying how vulnerable the elderly and sick were to covid since January. It should not be news to anyone that people who have it and die also have other ailments and are elderly
If you beleive it’s either covid or something else, and you have to pick one – that’s a nice belief to have
It’s actually silly imo and contempt why inconsistent with how medical professional approach health – but, if you insist, go for it
It doesn’t matter if you are dead to draw these kind of distinctions
Pig — I just can’t figure out why Covid as a medical condition has become a political issue. But guess at first it was a hoax, then it was just like the flu and now just way overblown. Same folks saying each every step along the way.
To me it is an illness, and a scary one.
Everything you said was perfectly reasonable, you just didn’t mention the other side to it, and that’s the side that we’re talking about.
They also count people that are asymptomatic, but have contracted it, and people that have mininal symptoms.
The reason it’s become political is, because people like Joe Biden keep lying about how bad trump has handled it and are trying to use it against him.
But is the fact that it has been political a reason to fight the science? Folks out there refusing to wear masks. Need for that is indisputable. Open up the economy or not…. that is fairly debatable.
They’re both debatable.
That’s exactly what I’m saying, the cause if death shouldn’t be COVID-19.
Oh I have a pretty good sense of why it became a political issue. I’m sure people don’t need three guess to know who I blame for that…but that’s not worth exploring here unless I want to argue about it for the next 4 hours
But I agree with you. It shouldn’t be, it’s a serious illness and should be treated that way and until it is – it’s going to be a problem
That was for stranger not you..
Long week…lol
Stanger, I don’t believe the Coroners or METS have an agenda, they’re being instructed to inflate the numbers. Is that do far fetched? They want to make something thats not dangerous to 99.7% of the population seem more dangerous
not Mets, medical examiners
Happening in red states and blue. An there is a ME in each county in the country. Who is behind this?
OMG, when you list the death as covid you get more money from the fed govt.
OMG steve — I think reimbursement payments for a Covid patient are higher in certain situations (mainly depending on the fed gov paying) but that cause of death has nothing to do with it. But you are so sure the death certificate matters….. why and under what insurance program? Maybe your sources are different than mine.
Who is thriving from this? Jeff Bezos, Amazon stock has almost doubled. Why do they love this billionaire, if they really care about lower class people? Money talks.
Mike
I have no problem with that point of view
But I think it’s pretty irrelevant to anything other that what is listed on the death certificate and any life insurance claims by his family
If some one which Covid died, I think we should be aware of that to determine how serious to take the illness rather than arguing to what degree it affected the death or whether it was inevitable without Covid
Exactly, but as they always do the dems are politicizing it.
your conclusions are much different than mine
I think it’s been mishandled
And i think the driving force to wanting to put the death in question is the trump campaign
And I think trump is afraid to answer to how badly it’s been mishandled
Democrats and Republicans are antagonistic to one another
If one side is pushing one way, you can bet the other is pushing the other way
But this isn’t a question that one of us convinces the other to be right or wrong – That’s politics
I don’t want to spend the next few hours before a three day weekend talking about it – so I was trying (when I posted the above) to avoid blaming any political lightning rods
When AIDs was a public health crisis, the amount of people who actually died fro pneumonia was very high bc the aids virus was hurt white blood cell production and affecting the ability to defend against pneumonia among other things
People started using condoms (and I bet some people even abstained 😬) bc we acknowledged AIDs was a health crisis and that helped us control it
Steve
I don’t think it’s a secret to the left or the right that people who have contracted it have lived.
But why is that so important to promote over and over again. Do we say, “hey some one had sex and they didn’t get aids”. That’s not a good approach to public health. You don’t need to downplay the risks.
You could also say we don’t need to inflate the risks either.
Piggy – I think a big part of it is keeping the economy down. Let’s be honest, NY and NJ should be open at far more than 20% in restaurants. It’s insane! How long can businesses last this way? The economy is being strangled. It’s not corporations suffering, it’s mom and pop restaurants that won’t be able to last. It’s Cuomo and his NJ counterpart Murphy that are keeping things shut down? Why? Are they going to wait a year until a safe vaccine is out? Open the fuck up already! Look at all these bars and pubs that are going to go out. It’s a damn shame
^^^
I don’t know if you have seen the latest but they are opening malls now
But they (Cuomo) havent given the green light on indoor dining and he is blaming de Blasio for failing to enforce Covid restrictions – so it’s a mess right now
I sW a post on twitter asking people of restaurants opened now – would they dine in and a lot of people said “no” and I was surprised
I represent a lot of small businesses including restaurants and I will tell you, at every level, federal, state and city I have a lot of problems with how everything has been handled from start to now in terms of opening….but like I said. I’m closing shop for the three day weekend
Also the courts have been a disaster too
Its amazing how blame is passed, yet mostly covid is handled at the local levels. Fed level has more to do with the vaccine and testing availibility.
So you thinking the pathetic US response to Covid should be blamed on the states and localities? That is one of my options for it along with the American people being too headstrong to follow common sense advice from the CDC.
Yes
People here still have never social distanced in stores or anywhere.
Pig — the science has said outdoor dining presents like one-sixth the risk or something. Lots of places around here have adjusted to that . And we can keep up with that….. but fall is coming for you guys.
Yes, the fall is coming and soon outdoor dining won’t be feasible? Then what? Just say fuck all those people who own restaurants and bars? Sounds like a great plan
The people who make the rules know that as well. They are in a good starting place though as well as the tri-state area is sitting right now in terms of Covid. Best place in the country to be.
When I think of the economy, I think of my paycheck and my retirement portfolio. Both of those important things are doing fantastic, so I think the economy is doing just fine.
It could be said this is a rather narcissistic way of viewing things, but nobody is complaining, or at least nobody worth talking about.
Sounds very Trumpish I might say . . .
While that is definitely true, I actually lifted that joke from Douglas Adams.
The quote goes – “Many men of course became extremely rich, but this was perfectly natural and nothing to be ashamed of because no one was really poor – at least no one worth speaking of.”
So it was plagiarized sarcasm. 🙂
LOL, not plagiarized at all by any standard, entirely rewritten. Just a stolen concept. 🙂
We have 2 things going on now, pandemic and protests. The losers in both are predominately small business owners. I bet they would beg to differ.
You think they would beg to differ that I think the economy is doing great? That would be weird. 🤔
Speaking of weird🤔
I think you’re confusing weird with inane. I know, it’s complicated, lol 🙄
Stanger – It’s not the best place to be if you own a restaurant or a bar. We’re beyond the point where we need to keep it down because the hospitals are overwhelmed. We should have been open most of the summer. Now it will be fall soon and all these restaurants that invested in tents to make outdoor dining possible are going to get crushed again if they don’t open up to t least 50% capacity. No one is going to make anyone go to a crowded restaurant, one always has the option not to go in. What’s the holdup?
There will be new rules…. how could there not be? Whether the eating places are happy with them have no clue. Get they are covid strict up your way, but then benefit is you guys are covid-light too. Our Gov seemed to want to do everything he could to make our place explode and it did. What do I know?…. not much except opening the bars a bad idea. Maybe with an early closing time.
Stanger – I think they should have been open inside 20% and outside as much as they can for a few months now. Now opening up at 20% is kinda like a slap in the face. I do realize you have nothing to do with this, just venting my frustration at the way both Cuomo and Murphy have chosen to handle this.
We’re at 50% inside here. Pretty much means every other table.
Our restaurants have been at 50% for quite a long time (some push it even more) with no issues. Don’t see what the problem is. Hell, the hotel the wife and I stayed at Wednesday had outdoor dinning with tables 6 ft apart but every table was full. People were walking around without masks. Only saw one couple walk in with masks out of about 30-35 people. They took them off when they sat down and never put them back on even when leaving. The servers and bar tenders weren’t even wearing masks. None of the hotel staff wore masks. Went to a breakfast place the next morning. Staff did not wear masks and not one customer who walked in wore one. Felt like normal times. I am telling you, they are over it down here especially at the beach.
That breakfast place was my favorite! The best breakfast burrito’s. It was the hot pressed burrito with steak, onions, peppers, cheese, hash browns and 2 eggs over medium with a spicy dipping sauce and gouda grits with chopped green onion on the side chased with a virgin bloody Mary (had to drive home). Felt good all day yesterday after a hard day/night drinking the day before.
Sounds like you guys had a good time. I’m sorta of a mask guy, but if the local rules allow they do. Sorta of hoping Covid goes away though.
In that Marino 5 TD game the return from the Achilles injury he completed 23 passes for 473 for an astounding 20.6 yards per completion.
Irving Fryar was a beast!
Yeah, the chemistry Marino developed with his receivers was just incredible.
Was pretty easy for the receivers, all they had to do was put their hands up and it would be hit by ball.
Last Friday went to a casino, ordered a beer and was drinking it, but apparently wasn’t doing it properly. Was told by staff I needed to put my mask back on when I wasn’t actually drinking it. Was supposed to take a sip, then put mask on, rinse and repeat.
What’s your favorite game? I’m a blackjack dude.
That happened to us at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa but that was 2 weeks after they reopened.
Trump yesterday said the key thing to do in the next election is vote twice. Don’t worry about it being a felony.
———————————————–
“What you have to do is send in your early ballot and then go and make sure that ballot is tabulated or counted, and if it’s not counted, vote. And then they have the job, if it comes in late, or if it’s not too late, they have the job of making sure that it’s not counted.”
He NEVER said to vote twice, he said if the mail in didn’t reflect on the voter roll on Election Day to vote in person and that would supersede the mail in making it not count.
I thought it was really pretty simple to understand.
I love voting in person on Election Day and I show my ID every time. I feel so patriotic every time it’s a beautiful thing.
When you send your mail in ballot in you have voted. When you vote at the polls after that…. you have voted twice. It’s a crime in most states.
Stanger, I wear a mask at work when a customer is at my desk and when I go to the jail. I also wear one when going shopping. We did take our masks when we stayed at the beach but they never left the car.
If walked into a jail would wear one too. Gotta pick the place. Have a problem with the dudes that insist the grocery store is not one of them though.
Yeah, I always wear one there or at Walmart.
Why does the Dolphins website still have Ballgag on it?
He failed his physical so the trade was nullified and it’s probably just a technicality of how he’ll be released.
Really, that’s odd..(failed physical)
Yeah he failed it.
Stanger – Every other table seems safe enough. Again, if someone isn’t comfortable going then they can abstain. We can’t live in a bubble forever. We have to start opening up before it’s really too late for all those business owners.
I almost forgot about DE Tyshun Render. He was the one we stole from Bellicheat after he did a private workout with him standing in the rain at Middle Tenn State. LOL
I have not heard his name this TC but he is still on the roster and could be they were favoring him over Weaver anyway. He may not make the 53 but hope he clears waivers and ends up on PS if not the 53. I think Bellicheat might try to get the last laugh and steal him away.
I like the play at the 3:14 mark.
I just mentioned him the other day. He looks the part body wise but he went undrafted.
I must have missed that post. LOL
Just like you missed my Hal Morris post
Not like was an epic post or anything. LOL
Son, I didn’t miss that. LOL I remember Hal Morris in the 90’s. He was actually my second fav 90’s player behind Barry Larkin. He was a steady hitter. He might have gotten bumped down farther on my 90’s fav list had Paul O’Neil or Even Chris Sabo not left.
👍
I liked Joe Oliver too
Yep!
TEST
TWO DAYS of repairs on my old computer finally seems to have worked.
You doing ok OD?
And by that I meant is Mrs. OD doing ok! 😉
WYOMING: Mrs. OD has good days and not so good days. She REALLY relies on me to do certain things. That’s why I have to be so careful not to catch the Covid.
As for me, I feel much improved over a couple of weeks ago. My surgeon says I’m well enough to mow the lawn. So-o-o, come 8:30 AM, I’ll be cranking up the mower. I’m tired of having a lady down the street mow the lawn for me!!
Thanks for your concern. I am eagerly awaiting the start of the NFL season!!
But, until then, I’ll remain deeply immersed in the NHL Playoffs.
Damn ape stealing from Hitchhiker’s Guide….what is the world coming to?
Is cutdowns 4pm eastern?
Yes
What date?
Tomorrow
Oh okay, thanks!
I can not understand this stuf!
Lots of people are baffled by this new way of thinking. I don’t give a shit about party politics. Morals and ethics are a different story.
I’m sorry, but too many Democrats are justifying nonsense and violence. I’m sick of hearing about peaceful BLM protests. It’s well beyond that. That was months ago, it’s an all out rioting situation now and anyone who doesn’t see that has their head buried in the sand up to their ass.
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!7
No market for him and Tua is the next one up for the future.
Well now I feel foolish for saying we could get something really good for Rosen just yesterday. My thinking was that he would hold a roster spot waiting for a team in need. However I have been pretty much all along saying that he was a cheap 1 year backup and no matter what happened with him we got what we needed out of him and were able to truly evaluate him. Circumstances seem to have undercut him at every turn but there’s got to be more and it has to be his demeanor/personality as an equal ingredient. That arm with spunk, charisma call it whatever you want doesn’t get brushed aside twice in such a short period of time.
Douchebag couldn’t even hold on to a roster spot and made me look foolish.
“He is what we said he was” (speaking of rephrasing)
Hell of a lot cheaper than Cutler was
Rosen was a shot in the dark and they don’t believe in him. People act like a 2nd and 5th for him was the end of the world. Is it? No it’s not! We had three 1st round picks and two 2nd round picks in 2019 – landing “Tank for Tua” at #5 but the narrative switched to we missed out on Joe Burrow. When does it end? Neither guy has done a thing in the NFL.
Rookie Vancouver goalie Thatcher Demko has stopped the last 103 of Vegas’ last 104 shots on goal since he took over the starter’s spot for the Canucks, who were down 3 games to 1 to the Golden Knight’s. It’s an absolutely AMAZING story for this kid who WAS tending goal for Utica in the AHL not too long ago! Vegas absolutely has the better team. But, so far tonight, Vegas has again been thwarted by this “kid from nowhere!”
OD, game 7 Flyers/Islanders – who do you like? It’s been great competitive hockey between two good teams.
TIM; As all these close games indicate, these two teams are VERY evenly matched. But, in a Game 7 environment, I’ve always leaned to two things. 1) Which team has the best goal tender? By a cat’s whisker, I’ll give the edge to Varlamov and the Islanders. 2) Which team has the best coach? NO CONTEST HERE! Barry Trotz, who won a Stanley Cup with the Capitals (then was offered an insulting offer to come back) will soon win ANOTHER STANLEY CUP, MAYBE THIS YEAR! Trotz is the best coach in the NHL. But he can’t play defense; and he can’t score goals! IF someone for Philly has an extraordinary evening, the Flyers will win. But my money is on the Islanders.
Mike E
Appreciate you thinking about us small business owners that have gotten the shaft.
Look at these European countries exploding with Covid after hardcore lockdowns…..seems kinda pointless now doesn’t it.
Also, I got covid few weeks back. No clue where from. Was sick, just like flu, had fever and felt like shit for a week. Lost my sense of smell too. That hasn’t come back, but everything else seems fine. Guess what though, masks work. No other employee or anyone in my family got it. Super weird.
My thought is everybody is gonna get it at some point. Nothing can do but slow it down a bit. It seems to be getting weaker which is good. Hopefully everything will be back to normal next summer.
I kind of feel the same way ER. It seems like unless people are just going to stay inside the rest of their lives, they’re going to get it at some point. Opening to 20% capacity inside just doesn’t cut it. When it’s fall and it’s cold and no one will sit outside, you may as well as let the fucking looters come and finish the job because restaurants and bars are all going to die. Again, just because a restaurant is open, no one is making people go in there. If you don’t feel safe, don’t go out. On the other hand, let people who do want to go out do so and live their lives as they please. We don’t the government controlling us.
BTW, that looting law is seriously fucked! That is some of the scariest shit I’ve ever seen. Only the Democrats . . . My father who was a staunch Democrat for many many years and big supporter of the party, he was extremely involved in the local Democratic club and helped many a candidate get elected. He is probably rolling over in his grave over that one though. It’s unfathomable!
Your Dad was probably an old school Democrat, likely a JFK guy. That’s not what they are anymore. That’s long gone. They are now a lunatic party and most people see it. Except for people who hate Trump so much they can’t see the forest for the trees. It’s absurd.
I’ve had 265+ employees at ten airports (including two in FL) working through the whole COVID ordeal. Had maybe six test positive. None reported being any sicker than the flu, all recovered. Anybody who doesn’t have natural immunity is going to get it at some point. People with serious underlying conditions and autoimmune disorders need to be more careful.
^
I just want to smell again. Lol
This whole thing has been made political and it’s a damn shame. This country is screwed…for at least the next term regardless who wins.
Fuck it.
“I’m gonna get my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames”
I don’t agree that everyone, not autoimmune will get it, besides a vaccine I just don’t see that happening. It also wasn’t the case with other pandemics, unless of course something like 60% can’t get it, which would kind of in itself makes the phrase everyone not autoimmune meaningless.
I had it in April, or at least was a carrier, didn’t feel much from it at all, didn’t miss any work, but did pass it along in the house.
You…you Typhoid Mary Bastard!
Be careful with that word Mary, not that there’s…🤔
Tim – That’s pretty much it. He was definitely ma JFK guy and was loyal to his party until the end. For all I know he may have stayed a Democrat but things that we’re seeing and hearing today he would not want to be a part of for sure. It’s shocking. Some of these lawmakers and those of the socialist left are so much more dangerous than Trump ever was, is, or will be.
When you say most people see it, you mean most who aren’t Democrats, right? I mean people in the party see Trump as Hitler and their own little psychopaths as heavenly angels.
Yep!
The dems and others are being gaslighted, so until they Wake up…
Mike, I’ll say this! There is no way I will support Biden and that party ilk. It’s like voting for a dead worm after a rain storm. That’s the conversation you get with them. It’s beyond absurd.
LOL @ dead worm after a rainstorm
The left has gone too far for the purpose of gaining power, Instead of focusing on what can help this country they just participate in a smear campaigns and go to great lengths to get power. RIOTS & DEATH! they disregard what the people want thru dishonest means of spying on their opponent, they do nothing to stop the riots. the hard left are a group of dishonest people, it’s not that hard to figure out by their actions. if they win this country will go to shit!
What makes them so dangerous is the way they’ve brainwashed the kids and use the media to perpetuate the lies, even though people see it with their own eyes.
In the past, when something absurd was done, the media actually did their job and spread it nation wide, but that doesn’t happen any longer, at least not when the left does it.
Look at any interview on YouTube done on college campuses from someone on the right, and you can see the look in their eyes, that maybe what they’ve been told has another side.
the thing is you want to avoid covid until there’s a vaccine or good treatment for it, getting it now is life threatening.
Life threatening for those with conditions that might make it so, but not for close to 99% of the people. Those with conditions should always stay careful but the rest of the population need to be able to open up so they can stay in business.
roster spots are valuable, i believe that’s why Rosen will be waived
But you can’t put all of your eggs into this year’s basket. Next year we’ll need a backup, and I’d feel better about having Rosen over most others.
Now, if they feel they can bring in a vet or Rosen has said, he doesn’t want to be a career backup, then you’ve gotta cut him loose.
There’s a way Rosen can be more than just a backup, it’s called attitude change and playing better than the competition. He thinks he’s great, his play needs to match his confidence
OD, I hope we meet in the finals, and have, since the restart.
Reports from Herald we’ve only got 5 more to cut. Rosen is one of them no shockers yet. Render, Merritt, Calhoun and Cole are on the list.
Im a democrat, have been my whole life. I live in Southern Indiana, rural white mainly. I was raised to be tolerant. I once used the “N” word as a child in front of my Mother, and she slapped me right across the mouth as quickly as the word came out. Most of the people around here are racist, though most will never admit to it. My son in law is an Indiana State Trooper, One Daughter is a Family Practitioner, One son served two tours in Afghanistan, in Charka. My other Son is a Fire Chief, My other Daughter is a recovering addict. I love them all equally.
Becareful praising republician virtues, and disrespecting democratic values. I raised my kids to be Americans, not dems or reps. I care about this country, which will still be here long after all of us. Hopefully we will get through this ugly partisan bullshit someday soon, and begin a new brighter future. I never dreamed my country could become so divided, with Hope and Faith maybe our Country can come together like none of us can dream of now.
God Bless America,
Go Dolphins
Coexist, and Respect each other.
Don’t know who you are, but thanks for your comment.
A breath of fresh air.
The Democratic party leadership has thrown their support behind criminals, anarchists, and socialists. That is today’s Democratic National platform. It may not be yours as a lifetime democrat, but that is for you to decide. It will be up to the democratic constituency to decide whether they will choose country over party. I’m not saying they should vote for Trump, but they shouldn’t vote blindly for Biden either.
Perfectly divisive. Yay!
What are you even talking about, Krishna?
Your first 3 sentences are more divisive rhetoric, pp. I presume you missed days64’s point. I find it impossible to believe only one side is at fault and the accuracy and validity your comment is questionable.
All I did was agree with a poster’s comment. You proved his point, imo. Understand?
I agree, can’t believe I’m writing this, with Krishna a breath of fresh air.
When I talk about dems, I’m generally talking about the politicians and mostly those in Washington.
I’m sure many people identified as dems, including those on this board, have good democratic values, but that’s where it stops. What democratic values do you believe the dem politicians have? Please take into account their actions and not their words, because all politicians talk BS.
I don’t see how any dem politician, at least not with any power, can say they have good dem values, when they allow the looting, burning and rioting to continue. Please explain how that’s possible. You could say, well it’s the govs and mayors, but we all know they get their agenda from the top of the party, verified by their unison.
^
I don’t care who anyone votes for either, just make an informed decision, one that works for you. Actions over words.
TIM KNIGHT: ANSWER for your hockey question is up the page below your 10:35 PM post. Hope you enjoy it.
Hard to argue that post OD. The VGK game last night was lost before it started mostly, because of a coaching decision to play not to lose. Vancouver played like a world cup soccer underdog team, that’s goal was to keep everyone back as much as possible. A tactic used by teams with large leads, and not one doing it from the start.
It may have worked in spots the previous game, but to do it back to back games was asking too much.
STEVE: I THINK The Golden Knights should be the clear favorites to win the Stanley Cup. I don’t think the Lightning, Flyers or Islanders are as strong from top to bottom as are The Knights (who should beat Dallas in 5 or 6 games).
However, with that said, both TB and the NYI have proven head coaches and outstanding goal tending. The Finals will be either 6 or 7 close, competitive games.
I hope you’re right😉
Days – Thanks for your viewpoint. I don’t subscribe blindly to anything the Republican party says or does but right now, to me at least, it’s clear that the majority of their views are closer to my own. The Democrats are now radicalizing and becoming a socialist party which I have no interest in supporting. I was a Democrat for many years as I explained about my parents earlier. This is not the same party, not even close. I’m sure most Democrats don’t subscribe to everything the Democrats do or say either but there seems to be no middle ground to be found. I suppose that having another viable party would change that because they may offer an alternative, but until then . . .
The new lie is Trump is supporting/helping the anarchists, because it’s good for him politically. That would be akin to the dems supporting or perpetuate global warming. Insane
I hadn’t heard that one but that’s silly
Nobody believed me when I said Rosen won’t be on the roster opening day. See Hulk know things
It shocked me, that Rosen will be cut.
Why? That would be a very high priced 3rd string QB
I thought he’d be the 2021 and beyond backup, or at least hoped he would. Getting rid of him via waivers is the shocking part.
OD, after the loss in 2018 to the Caps, VGK changed course from a fast team to a more well rounded team with size and physicality. The Caps won, because they pushed the Knights around, that doesn’t happen any longer.
Ken – I’m surprised they cut Rosen. I guess Fitzpatrick is in the plans for longer than just this season or Rosen has just been so disappointing that it doesn’t even matter, they just don’t want him. I didn’t expect that to be the case. I figured at worst if Fitz was just going to finish out this season that Rosen could compete with Tua next year or at least be his backup.
Rosen was never going to compete with Tua. The moment we drafted Tua Rosen was dead man walking
I was thinking about that woman who wants to enact the looting law. Maybe they can have a Medicaid “L” plan which allows looting every other Thursday of the month at specially chosen retail outlets.
Or every Thursday at her house.
I’m sure she wouldn’t have any problem with that
I read somewhere that Rosen was the slowest at reading a defense out of the 3 QBs. Not saying it’s true but it would explain things. He hasn’t had a ton of time to learn it but if Tua is already better at it, I can see why he was released. Pretty important skill for a QB.
I didn’t read that, but I assumed it from some of the things that Rosen himself said.
I think think it’s obvious he’s the slowest of the 3, but he’s not competing with Tua.
Krishna – I’m not going down your rabbit hole today. The cat doesn’t have anywhere near enough drugs for that. But feel free to tell us why the first sentence was wrong. Through their inaction, actions, and words, the democrats have endorsed looting and rioting (anarchy) over criminals getting themselves shot/killed/hurt resisting arrest (Kamala Harris donated bail money). The fab four, plus Bernie are self avowed socialists and they are embraced by the party leadership.
See I don’t believe that everybody who is a democrat supports that kind of failure to lead. I believe the majority do not. You do…you have as much as said so. So if that divides you, so be it.
Every city that had widespread rioting and looting was run by Democrats. Ted Wheeler only started to care about the law when they started to ‘protest’ in front of his condo. Dem politicians have run NYC, Baltimore, Portland, Minneapolis, etc for years and those are all of the highest crime areas today. Run down cities with huge wealth disparity, massive slums, high crime, everything bad you can think of.
I can understand hating Trump. I voted Dem in elections more than Republican but I can’t understand supporting where the DNC has gone. They support the worst, most abhorrent ideas I’ve ever seen. Look at California pushing for judges to allow lighter sentences for pedophiles. Look at leftist writers pushing pedophilia. How can people support this? Trump is just four more years of you not getting your way. The other option is the destruction of the traditional values of our Republic. Can people really support that?
Right on.
That first sentence is a fact, whether directly or indirectly, and as you said, inaction or action…
I voted for Bill Clinton as a registered Dem first time he ran. Regretted it later and reregistered as independent since.
I don’t have to say which way I have been leaning for the last decade though. LOL
Finally!!!!! 😉

Says Coach Campanile brings a family atmosphere to the LB room… coach had famously talked about the Sunday dinners he had growing up back home in Jersey.
I’m so jealous of Herd right now!
Marshal Football is on!!!!!!!!!!!!
By getting cut — Rosen is entering Ryan Leaf territory. Every team knows every other team wasn’t willing to give up anything for him on a relatively cheap contract. But there still could be a come back story.
I hope no one picks him up and we resign him or put him on the PS, if he has eligibility.
Bet you right now all Rosen wants is that proverbial fresh start.
Pats released Lamar Miller.
Maybe the former Dolphin magic only works for them if the guy comes straight from us. 🙂
KEN, Mike E., Piggy, etc.; —You guys may remember my immediate reaction when the Fins acquired Rosen. It went something like this: “PIGGY, He’s Dogshit!! He CAN’T start and perform at a high level in the NFL. I repeat, Rosen is DOGSHIT!!!”
——–
Understandably, pigs was a bit put off by that. But I’d seen Rosen play in about 4 games his last year at UCLA. In 3 of them, he stunk up the joint!! – – And we’re talkin’ about the friggin PAC-12, not the ACC or the SEC!!! The FIRST THING I NOTICED about him was the time it took him to decide who to throw to and then get rid of the ball. Let’s put it this way. He wasn’t even close to Danny boy or, even, Fitzpatrick.
——–
The brutal truth is THIS: Rosen will be lucky to have a long career as a 2nd or 3rd string back-up in this league. And I would not be surprised if he’s already started his last game in the NFL.
Philly vs. the NYI, Game 7, 7:00 PM, on NBC. If you’ve NEVER watched a Game 7 in the NHL Playoffs, well, just watch THIS ONE!!
It’s like Flores was breaking up with a girlfriend and was trying to be nice about it. One of the best things he has to say about Rosen is “he competed this training camp”?
—————————-
“He’s a hard-working kid. He competed. Last year was a difficult year for him, being up, coming down. He fought through it, he came back, he competed this training camp. I don’t have any bad things to say about him. It just didn’t work out, and we felt like it was in the best interests for us to move on. I wish him the best. He’s immensely talented. But we just felt this was the best move for the Dolphins.”
I watched the interview, and Flores looked at a loss for words, but I think it had to do with not giving up his hand. Still say we resign him.
Kirk Merritt didn’t make it
PS
I owe ya a beer. I was at work, harder to catch up
Sounds like they are going to pump in fan noise. No idea if gets louder when the visiting team has 3rd and 8.
——————————————-
“According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the league will provide a recording of crowd noise “specific to each team’s stadium that must be played over the PA system,” whether the venue is hosting live fans or not. The league will also monitor the volume level at which the looped noise is played back, to ensure a stadium operator can’t use the sound effects to provide an unfair edge to the home team or unfairly disrupt the visitors during play.”
Didn’t you read what you wrote? Nah we’ll just pass it and read it later😉
You lost me on that one steve. You do get I only wrote the first two lines.
Pp, you don’t need to go down a rabbit hole and I have no energy to engage with you.
The point I got out of days64’s comment was that both sides have their flaws, don’t judge, be respectful. And, your first sentence started with judgement by calling out one side and not the other.
If you think that’s not divisive rhetoric and contradictory to days64’s point, that’s on you and so be it.
Done.
Krishna – Spend a few minutes a day on social media, whether it be twitter or FB. Every other post is divisive. Either someone is making fun of Trump or they’re making fun of Biden, the squad or that woman who wants to allow looting. No one is posting to hear the other side, their minds are already made up and any kind of engagement is taken as an assault. It’s not good. It’s quite aggressive and combative. I’ve seen so many posts on twitter like “If you’re a Trump supporter, please unfollow me!”. Same on FB. The lines are drawn my friend, I think we both need to get used to it.
I get the lines are drawn and that’s why I thought days64 comment was a “breath of fresh air.”
I don’t go or care to be on social media. Oxymoron, imo.
Krishna… No facebook either … quit it over 10yrs ago, it may have been myspace then… lol, was the best thing that I have ever done for my wellbeing. The stress of trying to keep up was stupid. Life is meant to be well lived for oneself, and not to be streamed for the multitudes. What has happened to US? When did we begin to sell ourselves for likes?
Let us be the first to agree, that we disagree, and this does not make us bad people. This Country is only as strong as its weakest link… and right now… This Country Is in the hands of our Enemies… and guys… you and I are not the enemy!
Show up… Shut up… and VOTE!
Keep it Simple Stupid, just vote.
Go Dolphins! Go America!!!!
And god bless us all.
The Raiders made Lynn Bowden a third-round pick in April, but he won’t make his NFL debut as a member of the team.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Raiders have traded Bowden and a sixth-round pick to the Dolphins for a fourth-round pick. The fourth-round pick is the same one that the Raiders sent to Miami for linebacker Raekwon McMillan last week.
Bowden finished up his time at Kentucky as the school’s starting quarterback, but he was a wide receiver and returner earlier in his stint at the school. He was slated to play running back with the Raiders, although Saturday’s move makes it clear that they prefer to roll with others in the backfield.
It remains to be seen how the Dolphins plan to deploy Bowden. Jordan Howard and Matt Breida were the top backs on the roster heading into the weekend.
Veeeeeerrrrry interesting
Weird trade with the Raiders
I don’t think that spells good news for Perry
Think Perry is a slot and maybe ST guy for us. That’ s what they have in mind for Bowden bad news for sure, but could be RB in his future.
I see them as very similar players
After reading up on him can’t help but agree. He’s a faster version of Perry, but not as good a QB….. which he won’t play for us anyhow.
I also see them as similar players. Multi- use guys can be extremely valuable and, based off draft position, we may be getting an upgrade to Perry. I’ll have to look at some of his footage, but not remembering Bowden isn’t the best first impression. We end up neither gaining or losing anything with the McMillan trade outside of added potential which is always a good thing.
However Bowden works out…. when’s the last time you heard of a 3rd-round pick getting traded by the team that took him before their first game? And for less draft value will add.
Good point.
I think Bowden has more flat out speed. Perry has more elusiveness

Yes! So exciting and a local kid is the starting QB! I was at a friends, they had a friendly demonstration/riot for the game. You know, since we can’t have parties or tailgate. 😷😉
Go Herd! Go Dolphins!
He kicked ass from what I saw!
My nap interrupted the second half!! 😉
Rosen cut, oh well, i wasn’t a big fan of the deal when we got him, that said i had adapted and was rooting for him to succeed.
all water under the bridge but what concerns me more moving forward is why did we give up a 2nd rnd pick on him? makes you wonder which other early rnd selections will get dumped for nothing. nervously shaking over Tua, Jackson and Hunt.
This is definitely a black mark on Grier’s resume.
Not really a black mark. He took a gamble on a potential franchise caliber QB. We gave up a 2 and a 5. The next season we wound up with 3 1s and 2 2s. It is not like we depleted a lot of draft capital in the process. It’s more of a blip than a black mark
We traded our 2019 2nd to the Saints, and we got back their 2nd in 2019 and 2020, 2019 was traded for Rosen along with a 5th. Raekwon Davis was I believe picked with the 2020 2nd from Saints. What did we really give up for Rosen? A 5th.
Try this again
Looks like we have another game piece. Not at QB though. Was sorta of more excited about Perry truthfully….. dude has some fun juke to watch.
Maybe Bowden is our emergency QB too, and for that matter Perry. We could have both of them in the backfield only, split, so that you don’t know which is going to take the snap…double wildcat😉
Bowden 5’11” 198
Oh shit, 4.38 40
We have to be one of the top 5 youngest teams. Youngest if Fitz retires.
The weather was fine but the smaller boats got sunk by wake. Least means a lot of boats showed up to support Trump.
—————————–
“A parade of boats near Austin, Texas meant to honor President Donald Trump ended in disarray Saturday afternoon as at least four watercraft sank and boaters continually rang local authorities in distress. ”

So it looks like we have 5 RB’s and 5 WR’s plus 2 RB/WR types in Perry and Bowden. 12 at those positions. Seems like a lot.
Roster construction of Dolphins initial 53-man roster. Subject to change after roster claims. QB – 2 RB/FB – 5 TE – 3 WR – 7 OL – 9 DL – 7 LB – 7 CB – 5 S – 5 Specialists – 3 Most notable cuts: Josh Rosen, Kalen Ballage, Gary Jennings. Six bubble guys who I think made the initial 53-man roster due to a strong camp: Adam Pankey, Isaiah Ford, Sam Eguavoen, Malcolm Perry, Mack Hollins, Zach Sieler. No rookie UDFAs made it this year.
All drafted rookies, except Weaver must’ve made it, and all real FAs.
Some of these guys are going to playing all over the lot, on both sides of the ball, so number at a position means nothing at some positions.
WRs must be Mack Hollins, Perry, Bowden, Parker, Preston, Grant and Ford
RBs must be Howard, Breida, Laird, Gaskin, and Cox
TEs must be Gesicki, Smythe, Shaheen
QB Tua and Fitz
OL Jackson, Flowers, Karras, Kindley, Hunt, Davis, Deiter, Davenport and ?
DL Lawson, Ogbah, Strowbridge, Godchaux, Wilkins, Davis and Sieler
LB Van Noy, Baker, Eguavoen, Kamu, Roberts, Van Ginkel, and Trent Harris?
CB Howard, Iggy, Jones, Needham, and Tae Hayes?
S Bobby, Rowe, Fejedelem, Frazier, and Jones
ST Sanders, Haack, Ferguson
From SI:
The Dolphins joined the rest of the NFL in getting down to their 53-player limit Saturday, though things likely will change between now and the regular season opener at New England on Sept. 13.
For now, though, here’s what the 53-man roster looks like:
QUARTERBACKS (2)
Ryan Fitzpatrick, Tua Tagovailoa
RUNNING BACKS (6)
Malcolm Perry, Matt Breida, Patrick Laird, Jordan Howard, Myles Gaskin, FB Chandler Cox
WIDE RECEIVERS (6)
DeVante Parker, Preston Williams, Jakeem Grant, Isaiah Ford, Mack Hollins, Lynn Bowden Jr.
TIGHT ENDS (3)
Adam Shaheen, Durham Smythe, Mike Gesicki
OFFFENSIVE LINEMEN (9)
Michael Deiter, Solomon Kindley, Ted Karras, Robert Hunt, Julién Davenport, Austin Jackson, Ereck Flowers, Jesse Davis, Adam Pankey
DEFENSIVE LINEMEN (7)
Davon Godchaux, Jason Strowbridge, Shaq Lawson, Emmanuel Ogbah, Zach Sieler, Christian Wilkins, Raekwon Davis
LINEBACKERS (7)
Andrew Van Ginkel, Elandon Roberts, Calvin Munson, Sam Eguavoen, Kamu Grugier-Hill, Kyle Van Noy, Jerome Baker
DEFENSIVE BACKS (10)
Eric Rowe, Noah Igbinoghene, Byron Jones, Xavien Howard, Bobby McCain, Brandon Jones, Jamal Perry, Kavon Frazier, Nik Needham, Clayton Fejedelem
SPECIALISTS (3)
Matt Haack, Jason Sanders, Blake Ferguson
I saw a pre-season 2021 mock draft that was interesting.
1a WR Jaylen Waddle, AL
1b Edge Quincy Roche, UM (Edge/OLB type)
2a S Caden Sterns, Texas (Big versatile DB)
2b IOL/C Josh Myers, OSU
3 LB Charles Snowden, UVA
4a RB Zamir White, UGA
6a DT Labryan Ray, AL
6b OT Adrian Ealy, OK
6c QB Shane Buechele, SMU
I think we will draft another QB next year. I had been mocking Sam Ehlinger to us but forgot about Shane Buechele as a late round prospect.
Anyone watching the SMU game?
Ya kinda!
Did you see Herds QB earlier? He was looking good!
BARRY TROTZ SURPRISES many NHL observers by starting Griess at goalie over Varlamov, who, for the most part, looked solid in the 5 games he started this series. Now Griess looked sensational in game 4, and, just maybe, Trotz likes this guy more at this particular point in the series. I’ve learned NOT to doubt Trotz’s judgement in cases like this. And so far it’s working. The Isles scored first and lead the Flyers 1-0.
Winner of this contest plays the Lightning Monday Night at 8 PM on NBCSN (Ch. 220 DIRECTV).
Tomorrow, the VGK play the Dallas Stars on NBC in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
NOW IT’s 2-0 Islanders after one period. The Flyers are in DEEP DO-DO!!
Pretty thin at WR. Did not realize Wilson and Hurns drained our perceived depth so much .. RBs that can catch will be a plus.
ISLANDERS HIT THE POST near the midway point of the 2nd Period. They’ve out shot the Flyers 16-7!! Philly is lucky to only be down 2-0. They MUST pick up the pace to get back in this game.
NELSON SCORES FOR THE ISLANDERS on a perfectly executed 2 on 1 break away and the Isles lead 3-0!
Barring a miracle, THIS GAME IS OVER!!!

We traded our 2019 2nd to the Saints, and we got back their 2nd in 2019 and 2020, 2019 was traded for Rosen along with a 5th. Raekwon Davis was I believe picked with the 2020 2nd from Saints. What did we really give up for Rosen? A 5th.
_______________________
we didn’t have to take Rosen with that 2nd so yes we did actually spend a 2nd rnd pick on him.
Why do people get so stuck on a draft pick? Sometimes you have to take a chance. Play it safe and have a .500 record every year.
Exactly right. We have plenty of draft capital in 2021 as well.
I guess I’m going to have to get used to watching football with the sound off!
The Flyers are getting whacked. Oh well. It’s been an entertaining series. Love playoff hockey even if my team loses.
Not too many surprise cuts. Now let’s see who makes the 16 man PS. 6 of those can be used on vested veterans.
ONE COACH HAD HIS TEAM ready to play in tonight’s game 7 NHL Playoff game. The other coach DID NOT! ONE WORD best describe’s Philly’s performance — “EMBARRASSING!” –The Flyers looked lost, while the Islanders played their asses off!!! Philadelphia fans will NOT take this lying down, that’s for sure!! Heads will roll during the off season!!
————
Meanwhile the Islanders will roll into Edmonton like a steam roller!! TALK ABOUT MOMENTUM —- WOW!! But they’ll face a well rested Lightning team that has won 8 of the 10 Playoff games they’ve played in this year. For Tampa Bay, the big question is the health of the reigning NHL MVP, Nikita Kucherov, who was knocked out of the last game with a stick to the head by Boston’s Zedeno Chara. If “KOOCH” can’t go, the Lightning are in real trouble. They’ve already lost their captain and #2 scorer, Steven Stamkos (who seems highly unlikely to play in this series). Conversely, if Kucherov is recovered and able to play at a very high level, the Bolts will have a real chance to win this series.
WHO WILL WIN this series?? Right now, I’d rate the two teams dead even IF Kucherov is in top form. If he misses significant playing time, then I’d have to make the Islanders the odds-on Favorite to advance to the Finals to play, almost certainly, the Vegas Golden Knights, who should dispose of the Dallas Stars in 5 or 6 games.
Watched highlights of Lynn Bowden and he’s very similar to Malcolm Perry. The team might want two guys just like this. Very versatile players who can do a lot of things. They’re both the type of players we’ve seen the Pats acquire over the years.
the raiders spent a 3rd on him, he didn’t do well in their camp. we trade mcmillan and dropped from the 5th to the 6th essentially.
OD, not sure that heads will roll with the Flyers because of one game. They were ascending before the season was suspended. Won the round robin 3-0 to go from 4th to 1st, won the first playoff series against Montreal and lost in game 7 in the second series to the Islanders. They got outplayed. It was not a bad season in anyway. They’ll be back in 2021.

____________________________________________
not stuck on the pick just pointing out a mistake by this front office, it’s not the end of the world however a 2nd rnd pick is very valuable and should be a strike against grier & co.
I hope everything goes great this year and we are a contender but if we falter some will look back to this situation. if Tua doesn’t pan out especially
do you notice how everyone thought we were going to have 3 qbs this year being fitz, tua & rosen, it almost went without saying, that’s because in the back of their mind they knew we were heavily invested in rosen, and at the very worst we trade him.
the rosen experience was a complete failure.
ROB; I TOTALLY AGREE with you on the Rosen Issue. Flores & Grier really had their heads up their collective asses on this one!! But no one can be right 100% of the time. If the Dolphins make the playoffs this year, the Rosen fiasco will be largely overlooked.
TIM KNIGHT: PHILLY FANS ARE A BREED APART when it comes to their sports teams. Logically, one stinkeroo performance in Game 7 of the Playoffs SHOULD NOT be cause for a big uproar. INDEED, the fact that they took this EXCELLENT Islanders team to a Game 7 should be cause for mild celebration of the entire season.
BUT NOT FOR PHILLY FANS!! They take great pride in their “Never Forget” philosophy of their evaluation of their home teams!! And they’ll BOMBARD local radio, TV stations, and local papers with voluminous crticisms of “How the FLYERS Folded In a Nationally Broadcast Game played in Prime Time” until they get what they want!! And what DO they want?? – – – A SCAPEGOAT, A FALL GUY OR FALL GUYS!
And I believe, right or wrong, they’ll get their scapegoat. SOMEONE’s gotta pay! – – – Mark these words: a prominent player or coach (or ONE OF EACH) will no longer be with this team when they open up the new season in a couple of months.
That’s the least you should expect from a city whose fans once booed Santa Clause!!!!!
Okay I hear ya! LOL
I don’t think the front office had their head up their asses on Rosen. We needed a QB at that time we traded for him. He has a hell of an arm. His issues are in his head. They thought they could fix that. Guess not and it was time to move on. We will draft another one next year and/or give Fitz an extension to backup Tua.
