Sorry Dolphins fan, we tried to look awful smart with pre draft maneuvering, making two synchronized trades with the 49ers to move out of #3 and move back to #12, and then the trade with the Eagles to get back up to #6. Did we get the best TE? Nope! Did we get the best WR? Nope! Jaylen Waddle is a good player, but the moves that we made don’t add up to the player we selected. We may have been able to get Waddle at #12. He will help our offense and be the player we hoped Tedd Ginn Jr. was for us. A dynamic return man and a a guy who will take quick hitters and turn them into big plays. He can be like Albert Wilson was for us in 2018 before he got injured. We can go back and forth about where Waddle would have been taken, but being at #6 and ending up with Waddle is deflating. Sorry, it just is. Grier and Flores get no pass.
With pick #18, I’m telling you guys, I knew we were taking Phillips. In our Mock Draft I picked Phillips because I felt he was the player we want here for our defense. I said it again last night. Although I was right, it didn’t make it any easier because I really wanted Najee Harris. We need an upgrade at RB, and if we somehow don’t end up with Javonte Williams, we will have failed again. I feel like we can have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds in every draft and still find a way to fuck it up. Quality over quantity. Right now I feel like we’re just getting quantity.
In our offense, Jaylen Waddle will be featured often. Tua Tagovailoa likes to get rid of the bill quickly and Waddle will be like Julian Edelman was to Tom Brady. He will help our offense. He will upgrade our return game because although Grant is electric, he’s so questionable about actually fielding punts and kick returns. His hands are suspect. Waddle is much more sure handed. I just don’t see a generational talent in him, and 2 guys went before him that definitely might be, Kyle Pitts and Ja’Marr Chase. We were at #3 and could have had either. This is my qualm. Everyone wants more picks, not me, I want great players, and I’m not sure we got ANY last night. We could have, we didn’t!
Jaelan Phillips is a Flores type player. He knows what he’s doing out there. When Grier took Charles Harris because he had a quick step, he did, but he had nothing after that. Phillips is the opposite. He’s a technician with a bevy of pass rush moves and he’s athletic enough to back that up. He’s fast, and he’s strong, and he’s very athletic. 6’5 260 and ran a 4.56 40, 36″ vertical, 10.5 foot broad jump, 4.12 20 yard shuttle, and 21 reps of 225 at his pro day. His Junior season and last season in Miami, he posted 8 sacks and 15.5 TFL in a shortened season. He’s the real deal, and we need the pass rush help, but we lost out on RB Najee Harris.
We got good players, players that will help our team be better next season, but we had a chance at elite. Pitts or Chase could be elite. When all is said and done, Waddle and Phillips might have very good careers, but Pitts and Chase could be HOFers. Time will tell. I try to be fair, I don’t want to be a rah-rah pom pom waving writer. I want to say it like I feel it, so I did. Go get Javonte Williams. IDGAF if we have to trade to pick #33, get him, because we need him!
GO DOLPHINS!!!!

BBM, the Stevie Scott III vid was very intriguing! Good feet for such a big guy. We tried a big guy with Ballage, but this guy actually has moves to find the hole (not just north-south like Ballage).
Someone did a breakdown on Ballage a couple of years ago it showed just how bad he was at reading the hole. Without good vision you can’t be a great back
I’ve mentioned it before but Stevie Scott is one of my closest friend’s nephew so I would be excited if we pick him but just keep in mind he had a much better 2019 than 2020, sort of like Chuba Howard
hmmm… comp tickets could be your motivation here. lol Only person I’ve ever had any connection to was RB Larry Schreiber (49ers 1971-1975)… 2nd cousin. Lots of 49er fans in our family for that reason. I was already a Miami die-hard by that time so for me it was “whatever”. lol
The Miami Dolphins were unable to get Ja’Marr Chase at No. 6, but the Dolphins still found a wide receiver very familiar with franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The only decision Miami had to make was choosing between Jaylen Waddle or DeVonta Smith.
The Dolphins went with Waddle in a surprising move when the selection was made. Getting Waddle at No. 6 made plenty of sense to the Dolphins, who passed on a Heisman Trophy winner to get a similar game-breaking talent.
“Just as we went through it, it’s the explosiveness that Waddle gives you as well as the return game,” Grier said in a conference call with reporters. “And for us, just that dynamic trait … but for us, it was getting to know the kid and we were really, really happy and knowing how competitive and tough (he is).
“They’re both really good players. DeVonta is going to be a really good player in this league. For us, it was the explosive playmaking ability and the return ability for us that we really liked. At the end of the day, they’re both really good players and really good kids and very competitive.”
CBS News
when i saw this punt return from Waddle about a month ago, i figured the Fins would want this guy
he is more than just an awesome WR, hes a top notch return man
whats not to like?
PS
that was against LSU, the number 2 ranked football team at that time
this kickoff return to the house, may have caught their attention also
He didn’t do much with the chiefs last year, but just remember Leveon Bell is still a free agent
Boo
My pro’s and con’s with Stevie Scott.
Pro’s – He is awesome in short yardage. If there is no hole he will make one. His power shows up on tape. He is also decent in pass pro.
Con – Only one for me is he seems to go down easy for a big guy when he gets to the second level but when in a phone booth he is a bull.
With that said, he would fit that big short yardage back and late game bell cow we need.
he would be awesome in rain or snow also, tough to stop a guy like him in bad weather games
if the Fins want to do some damage in the playoffs, it will likely include some mid winter northern games, we need players that can excel in all weather conditions, from extreme heat and humidity or thunderstorms in Miami, or blizzards in Buffalo in early January
LT loves Carter, MJD loves Patterson
——————
I like Carter also but will be gone before we pick. I like Patterson. He is a tough little dude. Kind of built like MJD but he is not a pass catcher. He didn’t catch one pass in 2020. Doesn’t mean he can’t but thought that was strange since he was their feature back.
Last seasons game in Buffalo was a disaster in every way imaginable, and in some ways beyond the imagination, lol and smh
we all know We had a better team than that, but they let the weather effect their game, and the Bills played right into it.
we have to learn how to play better in frigid conditions, we cant look like Miami tourists with dollar store hawaiian shirts on surfboards
Jevon Holland is Minkah Fitzpatrick without the fuckface
Prove me wrong
not sure if he is a Minkah or not, but Holland looks like an excellent prospect, i wouldnt mind seeing Holland in Miami, lol
not the country Holland, Jevon
Not as fast but pirty much right.
OK here we go. My pointless wish list.
#156 OC Trey Hill, UGA
#231 RB Stevie Scott III, IU (would also take Pooka is he falls here)
#244 Edge/DE Tarron Jackson, Coastal Carolina
Here’s little Pooka:
So much for Michael Carter
Fucking Jets!
That dude almost called it the 2009th pick
What round is it – round 32
I hate the Jets getting Carter. He’s an explosive dude
I’m not worried
Their roster still needs a lot of work
And their new QB looks like Justin Bieber before puberty
I think we abuse that guy for at least the next 4 years.
Girls??!! EWWWW! Why would I like them more than football and my buds? When I get big coach, can I grow a stache?
There goes your boy Piggy
😕
Detroit having a solid draft. I’m glad for Big Dan.
Quincy Roche is still out there
Wouldn’t mind adding more pass rushers to hit those new QBs in our division who are begging to get punched in the face
I feel us trading into the fourth to get a player none of us have heard of at a position we have no idea why
Par for the course lol
They must be going straight BPA, trusting their board
Bc we like drafting players no one here has talked about
Every time once you get past the first round
“Hey man, if you don’t want those cookies I will trade you my milk for it?”
He looks like the poster child for being taped to a goal post
I see all these teams having a great draft (in my mind) and, after our last TE pick, I can’t get this meh taste out of my mouth. lol
We are getting a lot of positive feedback about that pick fro “experts”
If we didn’t follow the team religiously we might be thinking “wow the Dolphins just got TE with the most catches in the NCAA last year in the 3rd round”
First NFL player to represent gummi bears
“Yeah Mommy it’s great here with the jests, all my new teammates keep asking to sleepover and meet you”
I wouldn’t mind meeting his MLF, I mean, Mommy.
Cowboys helped their defense a lot
Quincy Roche is still out there
—————–
So are these OLB/Edge types
Chris Rumph II, Duke
Hamilcar Rashed Jr., Oregon State
Jordan Smith, UAB
Charles Snowden, Virginia
Patrick Johnson, Tulane
Riley Cole, South Alabama
Put a photo of Zach Wilson on one side of the field, see who tears it up first, then pick that one
lol
There goes Rumph
Rumps was just drafted
Would you 👉👌 Dawn Aponte?
I think, maybe, yeah why not. lol
I know right
There goes a RB I never heard of.
Big run on OLB/Edge right now. There goes Jordan.
Jordan Smith
I don’t really want to force a RB or an OC now
I really think they should just go BPA in the 5th
Try to get a player who can make an impact
If you find a gem in the 5th to add to our picks yesterday I think you’ve added a lot of talent
Waddle, Phillips, Eichenberg and Holland might all be names we hear a lot about in 2021 – those players can make an impact as rookies, if you can add a player in the 5th who can make an impact next year, that’s a heck of a draft
There goes the mack truck RB Stevenson
To Pats. Boo
Now we can answer Mike E question yesterday more effectively
Mike E – I fucking hate Stevenson!
Wasn’t our new TE coached by Flores ar sr bowl?
Yes
Significant that we passed on meinerz at a position of need to take the TE after seeing both first hand.
Eichenberger is the first ND lineman we drafted since Tim Ruddy
I’d like to get Joshua Kaindoh 6’7 265 for a developmental edge rusher. He was hurt by the mess at FSU. He was a 5 star recruit.
Ogbah might get old fast.
Chuba Howard is gone
These guys are all Flores style players. Eichenberger will punch the same guy 3 times per play or punch one and go pancake another one.
Waddle is fast like Grant but has niftier feet. And waaaaay better hands.
He makes Grants hands look like feet
Lol
Waaaay better hands being the key
*** Jevon Holland can also play cornerback.
*** Liam Eichenberg didn’t surrender a sack in either of the past two seasons.
*** Hunter Long can both block and catch like an average TE (we don’t have one of those).

****Quiz of the Day****
What NFL rookie had the most jerseys with his name sold on it last year, ending up 3rd overall in the league?
Jake Ruddock?
Nope. 🙂
Reid Sinnett?
Tua
it cant be tua, he sucks!
Ding*Ding*Ding for Pig.
ORob — it is a factor whether you want it to be or not.
I don’t believe that, too incredulous.
good for Ian Book.
^^^
Holland is a great pick for our defensive scheme.
Him and Jones make us younger, faster and nastier at Safety
Howard, Byron Jones, Brandon Jones, Holland, Iggy and that doesn’t even include McCain or Rohe
If we generate pressure those guys are going to feast
So it is 3rd and 9 and Phins motion to 3-wide (4-wide if you count the TE off the line). The D is faced with:
Parker — Waddle on one side and Gesicki — Fuller on the other.
Who gets doubled, or at least which DB/LB gets safety help? I really don’t know the answer.

Who is to say I don’t have one 😉
Tulane Wallace went to the Ravens
They always pick up guys that slide
14 picks to go
Get ready to celebrate!
🤪
10 picks
The team owners act like they don’t know what team they’re announcing the pick for. Why you gotta read your teams name, YOUR team.
They’ve been drinking since noon
On Thursday
Lol
Wonder if they are looking at Felton who was at senior bowl too?
He’s a RB who lined up at receiver. Good receiving back
Maybe you cracked the code, I’ll shit if you’re right
* not at Macy’s
Lol
We’re about to be on the clock. Interested to see what we do.
almost time. 2 1/2 hrs until we get a pick today. lol
Trade out!
I know their college stat were similar, but I don’t think Long is in Gesicki’s class as a pass catcher, so I don’t think Gesicki gets traded. Long is a full second slower in his 40 time, and watching game film, he doesn’t play nearly as fast when running routes. (He’s got decent speed for a TE, but he’s not Gesicki fast.)
This isn’t to say he’s bad, but watch his tape, he doesn’t get a lot of separation, he’s either wide open from poor coverage, or he has a guy draped all over him.
What he does well is run good routes, he uses his body to shield the defender, and he makes a lot of contested catches. He’s an upgrade to Smythe and Shaheen in the passing game, and I think he’ll pair well with Gesicki on passing downs and spell him or be a good back up to Gesicki if he gets hurt.
He’s an upgrade to Shaheen as our 2nd or 3rd TE option.
So he runs a 5.6 40?
He’s a complete TE, Gesicki is more slot receiver
Oh…
I like this move!
yup, get back a pick that we gave up to move up to 42
Why?
Should we push it down the road 3 more times to get a 1st
wait, what? I guess I thought we were getting one of their picks this year. Nevermind. I’m not paying close enough attention today. lol
That’s because the talent is at the end of the draft lol jk
LOL. What’s good, Capt?!! Great to see ya here!
Smoking a brisket…. sorry pig! I’m glad to see our passion for this team is still driving us all crazy 🤪
Wtf!
🙄
I guess the team is set
If you trade your only pick between rounds 4-6, that means you did what you wanted to I’m the first 3 rounds
I guess they never had any interest in adding a RB
I think the majority of us here wanted to upgrade at RB… we didn’t do it via the Draft. So how about this… I wonder if we’d be willing to sign Todd Gurley to a 1-year ‘prove it’ deal? He’s still out there as a FA.
swear I almost posted this last night. I’m wondering what his physical condition is.
He could be that big back we’re looking for, and we can play RB by committee, not use him as a ‘#1’ back.
Geriatric in football years.
I’d rather sign 60+ yr old Hershal Walker
almost 1500 touches in his 5 yrs … maybe that’s the expiration work load. lol Maybe for the right price, but not another Jordan Howard deal.
Definitely not a Howard deal. It’d be a show me deal like MF said. And not knowing his physical condition, it may not even be an option. But I’d take a look at him.
Gurley and Bell
Same idea
He’d be a good add at this point
Steve,
LOL, palm slap to face. I meant a full 10th of second of course.
He is not a great blocker, so I don’t see him as a ‘complete TE’. Smythe is still our best blocking TE, and Gesicki improved his blocking last year, so I don’t see him a slot receiver either.
Had no idea what you meant, he’s a box out TE and good blocker
I actually thought all of are TEs did well last year. I like the pick just doesn’t feel right
It feels great, we got an actual complete TE.
We had 2 that catch, but can’t block and 1 that can’t catch
Gurley had knee issues at GA, nothing has changed, except time.
Father time has passed him by
Interesting to see UDFA signing positions
We didn’t see any help in the 5th why would we with UDFAs?
Just saying interesting to see what positions they focus on , that’s all
So we waited 2 1/2 hours, just to wait another 2 1/2
Steve,
Yeah, I don’t get what you’re saying either since you say he doesn’t have great hands and everything I saw him catch that isn’t wide open is a contested pass. And pretty much every analysis says he needs to get better at blocking, lol.
To be fair, in regards to blocking I went of draft analysis, not game tape, but watching game tape I think he has really good hands and uses his body well.
*off
Watching his game tape he kept dropping catchable passes, 1 was a flat out drop at the 5 going in
When blocking he wasn’t a monster, but good enough for a TE
He’s a basketball TE, goes 8 yards down the field and turns around and does that well, on the move he loses concentration and drops passes
Maybe he has good hands and his problem is concentration
Steve, I saw a couple of dropped balls, didn’t see it keep happening to think it was an issue, and the number of contested passes I saw caught trumped the couple of dropped balls I saw in my estimation. Agree about the basketball TE, he uses his body. And he’s a better blocker than Gesicki coming out of college, just needs to improve.
I think he’ll be a good addition to the team, so I’m not arguing that. We’re mostly quibbling over details.
Now I see why we traded 156, it saved us 12k on the cap
Casserly likes our draft,
Calls our 1st 4 picks 1st RD talents
🍺
Charlie Casserly loves our draft says we got four first rounders
🍺🍺
In regards to Gurley, I was looking last night at FA backs, trying to find a big bruising back. I know it’s been speculated we don’t care about getting a bruiser.
We picked up Malcom Brown who is 5’11” 225. Is he going to be the ‘big’ back we keep on the roster. Who else is out there in FA?
I think he may fill that spot for the year anyway
The Pets have played many season without a big back on the roster, so as some have said, it may be we’re just fine with our RB room.
His stats last year Weren’t great as they were platooning him, Henderson and Akers every other game to see what they had
Cap’n: Yeah, I felt the same way at first. The Long pick was surprise I think to everyone. But I’m on board with whatever these guys want to do. They’ve earned it with two years of over-achieving. Tim mentioned it last night, it’s about scheme fit and who is available when we pick and we valued Long there, so I’m good with it. We obviously want to run a lot of 12 personnel, and you need quality TEs to do that, not JAGs.
Rock you can come out of your bunker, now that the dust has settled it looks like the team got improved quite nicely after all 👀🐬💪
I still haven’t watched tape on Holland
You should you’ll feel much better about the pick
Yeah, I watched some Long film last night before turning in. I’m looking forward to catching up on Holland and Eich today.
We don’t need an RB that’s going to take over a game, we just need RB production.
We have 3 guys that can carry the load on any given week, depending on opponent.
Sure I’d like to have a better RB, like what we got from Ajayi a few years ago, but not sure it’s necessary
Even with Ajayi he was only pretty good 6 games with over 70 yards and 3 great games over 200, 4 over 100
A lot of team go RB by committee. It’s proven effective. I watch the Niners the last couple years (I know you watch them some too), and every week they have 3 guys that can tote the rock.
Yeah, run 3 guys and see who has the hot hand, but situational football too, like Brown in short yardage
I was enamored with Harris the individual who happened to be a RB, missing on Williams doesn’t bother me too much.
Totally agree. I just keep hearing one of our TEs doesn’t catch well. When it’s not that they can’t catch, they weren’t asked to. I actually remember a few times we asked the others to catch and my recollection they did. I’m like wow! that guy catches well during a couple of games last year. However I like the pick and I like the culture they’re bringing down here
Reply to Cav above lol
We’ve finally got a coach that says he’s going to change the culture and, lo and behold, he actually did it. lol
It wasn’t just Casserly that loves our draft. I see love in lots of analyses.
That’s encouraging
Holland is an awareness player, he uses his eyes, keeps them on the action, and why he’s a ballhawk.
Plays all over the field, looks to be a true zone cover guy, but can play man.
Didn’t see enough to know what kind of true cover skills he has, but…and this could the reason he was the first safety off of the board, I see some Xavier ballhawk skills with him.
The comparison to Minkah is accurate, I can see him being a true centerfielder making the plays Minkah makes
When you disguise coverage like we do it pays to have a good CF
We saw last year a lot of int, with balls just floating out there saying, please pick me off, even Byron FN Jones benefitted a couple of times😉
I just realized Smythe is a FA next year. I thought we extended him in the offseason.
Thought I heard that too, looks like both won’t be back, unless at least 1 takes a team friendly deal
Here are my current thoughts/grades on our Draft.
My grades aren’t solely based on the talent of the player, but when and where we took the player
1) Jaylen Waddle: A+ HOMERUN pick!!! Could we have traded down and still landed him? Perhaps, but it would have been very risky. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. He was my WR#2, behind only Chase… who went to the Bengals one pick before us.
2) Jaelan Phillips: A-. Although I wouldn’t have touched him due to injury concerns, he was clearly the best EDGE of this class. IF his health is legit, we may have scored the steal of the Draft. The kid is a BEAST(!), both in pass-rushing and run-defending.
3) Jevon Holland: C. This one confounds me. Nobody had Holland as the best Safety in the Draft… NOBODY. I had him as my Safety#4, and I think it’s pretty clear that he would have been available @ R2P18 (if not later), thus voiding the need to trade our 2022 3rd rounder away to trade up for Eichenberg later. The player is very good (not great), and we could have addressed real needs here, instead. Huge reach and totally unnecessary. I’ll be most happy to be proven wrong, though.
4) Liam Eichenberg: A. Outstanding! Adding Eichenberg to our O-Line will pay dividends, through and through. He should have been our pick @ R2P4 — instead of Holland — and we’re lucky nobody took him before we eventually traded up (costing us a 2022 3rd rounder) for him @ R2P10. Between Eichenberg and Austin Jackson, we’ve got bookend Tackles for the next decade, protecting Tua and paving the way for outside RBs.
5) Hunter Long: C. This one also confounds me. While I get the ‘Ace’ (that’s the ’12 personnel’ scheme), I felt pretty good about our TE room going into the Draft. To take a TE here when we had bigger fish to fry seemed unwarranted. The player is fairly good, but certainly not worthy of a 3rd round pick, IMO. Huge reach again and totally unnecessary.
Final: I saw three KILLER(!!!) picks, and two head-scratchers. We failed to upgrade at the Center and RB positions, but perhaps they can be augmented via FA (there will be more surprise cuts coming after the Draft).
Overall: B+
I can’t believe you of all people don’t like the Holland pick, being he’s a ballhawk with 9 ints in 2 years
It’s not that I don’t like Holland, Brother. I don’t like where we took him. He would have been there for us later.
A starter to me is someone that plays over 50% of the snaps.
Waddle, Phillips, and Eichenberg will all be starters, with Holland and Long getting their fair share of PT.
Who knows, if any of these guys will be great, but the potential is there for all of them
I think Holland puts Rowe on Skid Rowe
I think our guy Richie Grant would have been better than Holland.
They’re very similar players, would have been nice to have a homie but they preferred Holland.

This is exactly how I viewed Richie Grant, S, UCF. I don’t yet understand why we took Holland where we did.
Flores felt he was the best guy to play our CF, someone to cleanup errant passes
See above…
Grier and Flores are grading their board based on intangibles that we’ll just never know, it’s their board and they’re entitled to build as they see fit. We have Marvin Allen in house helping Grier who’s been very successful grading college talent.
Let me try to explain this again, as I tried to explain to Tim… perhaps I can do it better this time…
This is how it should have gone down…
R1P6: Waddle
R1P18: Phillips
R2P4: Eichenberg
R2P18: Holland
Instead of having to use our 2022 3rd round pick to trade up for Eichenberg, we’d still have it. Holland would have been there for us @ R2P18. That would change my overall grade from B+ to an A.
It’s not about the player, it’s about how we went about doing it.
MF13, you have every right to your opinion that Holland would have been there if we took him later, I respect that, but we had him valued as our top safety, what if someone else did too?
Grant went at 40, maybe we lose out on Holland there, and we didn’t want Eich and Grant, we want Eich and Holland.
I hear ya, bud… and thank you! I just wish we still had our 2022 3rd rounder. And I think as a result, we traded away our 5th rounder about an hour ago to get another 4th rounder next year.
Perhaps with two 4th rounders next year, we can trade back up into the 3rd next year to compensate for having traded away our 2022 3rd rounder.
I’m about the value, man!
We had two 3rd round picks next year, one from the SF trade. We still have one.
I hope nobody thinks I’m being a stinkbug over my ‘B+’ grade of our Draft. IMO, that’s VERY GOOD! I grade much harder than the pundits do.
And personally, I think we were >this close< to KILLING the Draft! VERY GOOD, indeed!
Nothing wrong with honest eval.
That’s how I try to be, CavKong, taking any and all bias out. I may have liked Richie Grant over Jevon Holland, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like Holland, either. My only issue was when and where he was taken, that’s all… and it won’t matter if Holland balls for us!
Going to enjoy a steak and oyster dinner tonight
Let me know if we draft any starters in the 7th round…lol
I give our draft 🥓 🥓🥓 on a scale 4 🥓
That reminds me. I bought some bacon to try a new method where you twist and bake them. Been baking my bacon for years, never tried it twisted though
I don’t know if you guys follow Big E on Twitter but he was supposed to announce the 5thnrounder
Yup! We follow each other. I think it’s very nice that he was going to be announcing for us!
Ha ha that’s funny
Oh, by the way. I’m pretty disappointed today. I woke up expecting to see a new finsmob article called ‘I have crabs’… 🤣
LOL
Think of it…
We’ve got Mike Gesicki, DeVante Parker, Jaylen Waddle, and Will Fuller lined up, coming at an opposing defense. What’s that DC going to do?
Well, I’ll tell ya what that DC is going to do. He’s going to stay up all night for a week straight in game prep, probably wearing Depends.
Just wish we had either of Najee or Javonte to make it that much more shitty for opposing DCs.
But it probably doesn’t matter… that opposing DC HAS to account for any of our current RBs, anyway.
As good a Q now as when asked in a 1:44 pm post. Great minds….. which can’t figure out what opposing Ds will do. 🙂
I wouldn’t grade this draft an A either, but my vision isn’t the teams vision, it only matters how they feel they did.
Need 1 – trade out of 3
Need 2 – get top 4 receiver
Need 3 – Edge
Need 4 – RT
Need 5 – RB
Need 6 – C
I think we got the main needs taken care of. After receiver it would’ve really bugged the he’ll out of me if we hadn’t taken Eichenberg or someone for RT
We still came away with a future 1st and 4th
You said that “it only matters how they feel they did”. I say results are all that matters. All good, though!
I agree with everything else.
I thought we signed Smythe to an extension?
I can’t remember who said it on NFLN but someone said they expect Hunter Long to be a pro bowl caliber TE in a few years.
M13, we had two 3rd round picks next year, one from the SF trade. We still have one.
Got ya… didn’t realize as much.
Strictly my opinion… I’d have rather used one of those 3rd rounder to trade up for Javonte Williams.
Okay but that’s not what the team wanted to do. 😉

OH! Apologies, Stanger! I skipped through a lot today and didn’t see this!
GREAT MINDS, INDEED!!! 😀
I really like our draft. I wasn’t very enamored yesterday but then I looked more in depth at the guys we got. I think all four of our first picks will be starters by the end of 2021. That’s amazing value and everything you want out of a draft. I’ve gotten greedy expecting lots of early picks but then I look at other teams drafts,, I really liked about 8 of them but none had our concentration of talent. It feels good to draft extra talent early.
I’m spoiled by the last couple drafts but I think we really hit on some picks that make us a better team, which is all I could hope for normally. ( NAJEE!! JAVONTE!!!!)
^ Yessir!
The drafts biggest winner is Melissa Stark. Thank you for Thursday, we’ll always have that.
And I say Colleen Wolfe!
I’m talking about leading up to the Draft, with all of her insight. She’s a looker!
Damn, Marquez Stevenson to Bills. He can fly. That really sucks!
That’s ok we’re gonna be in Allen’s face

I KNOW THIS! LOL 😉
LOL
😀
Two camp bodies coming up soon
Most likely
Waterboy at the end of the 7th, might have to trade up
CAV if you’re still around I think the twisted bacon is the way to go. You can cook soo much more and who doesn’t want more bacon 😋. Advice separate bacon and let it thaw before twisting. It takes longer to prepare like our draft however it’s worth it lol
My biggest problem cooking slabs of bacon has always been quantity the pan will hold. It looks like twisting solves that in spades. I was excited to come across the method.
I appreciate the tip, it makes perfect sense it’ll be easier to give a good twist that holds once it’s come to temp rather than straight out of the fridge, and I likely wouldn’t have thought of that my first time through.
Cheers bud
Damn, and the Bills take Wildgoose too.
Great name!
I agree!
Quincy Roche to the Stealers*… good pick for them.
Hamilcar Rashed Jr., Oregon State OLB is still available.
So is big and fast WR Tamorrion Terry.
I like both of ’em. Hopefully both are still available when we pick.
I’m still intrigued on having 2 offensive coordinators. Are they going to do something like wheel of fortune with plays all around the wheel? I hope theirs not going to be a lot of ” I told you so” going on after the game…. I know they are pros but someone is going to be thinking that if things don’t go well
I don’t like it. Maybe it works out, but there should be only be 1 captain navigating the ship.
Once heads butt, it’s going to be a problem.
Exactly lol
Hey Cap, good to see you.
I think it might be they both put together the game plan but one of them calls the plays. Godsey has been an OC with Houston so my guess it will be him.
Hey Knight! I hear ya,
I guess it’s offensive coordinator by committee
