  1. Rhino says:

I’m not gonna question Raven’s first round picks. They’ve been better than us over the recent years.

  2. son of a son of a shula says:

Well we had Owusa falling out of round 1 right last night

  3. manitobafinfan says:

Get Williams with next pick !!!!

  4. Rhino says:

Waddle is solid regardless of when taken. Phillips needs to ball out to make passing on Najee “worth it”

  5. Mike E. says:

Mission tomorrow – Get that freaking RB!

  6. manitobafinfan says:

Ha e a good night yall

  7. Rhino says:

AFC teams need to cock block Steelers in 2nd rd and make them pay lol

  8. Ken says:

I like both players we picked. We need both positions we picked. I just don’t know if they were the best players out there for us at the time when we picked them

  9. Phindog says:

As uge there is talented players still out there that we don’t know about but our scouts, GM, and coaches do.

  10. Tim Knight says:

I was a bit surprised with the #6 pick of WR Jaylen Waddle but then I said hey he’s our Tyreek Hill.

Jaelan Phillips reminds me a little bit of DeMarcus Ware. Hope he can be as good.

So we added a speed playmaker at WR that comes along with jet sweeps and returns, and an Edge rusher.

I knew this draft would not be what everyone was thinking. That’s why I couldn’t make picks. LOL

    7PM tomorrow starts #36, #50 and #81.

  11. Rhino says:

I don’t see a team before 50 that needs RB more than other spots… Javonte Williams should be there IF at 36 we go Center or J.O.K. (if Jax, Jets, ATl all go elsewhere for a defensive pick).

  12. sb7mvp says:

I dont feel good about either one of these picks, but I’ll be rooting for them. I felt like we could have had the best LB and the best RB. Here’s to the second round.

  13. Rockphin says:

After turning off the draft last night after we picked Phillips I am going to go ahead now and make a not so bold prediction. Chris Grier will NOT be employed by the Miami Dolphins in 2024.

5 first round picks in two years and not one will be a pro bowler.

Grier and his team have a real hard time evaluating OL and DL and more miss than hit on other positions.

  14. The Flying Pig says:

If we don’t get Williams today, I’m going to think we made mistakes in this draft

I don’t have a problem with waddle. I wanted one of the two guys who were drafted before him but, waddle is up there with top players. I’m happy we took him over Smith

At 18, I thought all the edge players have risk. So we rolled the dice on one instead of a sure thing RB. If we still get William at 36 it won’t matter but if we don’t I have serious questions about what we did at 18. Sone of us were saying for weeks – ‘“start the run, don’t hope the run falls to you”

So if we don’t end up with Williams, it’s bc we didn’t start the run and stubbornly thought it was too early for a RB at 1i

  15. ocalarob says:

We need a center more than we need a RB

  16. The Flying Pig says:

Hers some of the best avalavle today

    Javanta Williams, RB
    Joseph Ossai, Edge
    Ojulari, Edge
    Barmore, DL
    Owusu, LB
    Jenkins, OT
    Cosmi, OT
    Mayfield, OT
    Modhrig, S
    Eichenberg, OT
    Davis, OG
    Humphrey, OC
    Dickerson. OC

    Lots of OL left

If we leave the 2nd with Williams and some OL I’ll be happy

  17. ocalarob says:

i think Waddle will be used as our Edleman/Welker

  18. ocalarob says:

we also ne a DT, i hope we get the Bama DT at 36

  19. pheloniusphish says:

Some histrionic bitches on the board. Waddle had at least 120 yards per game until he broke his ankle. Had it not been for that he would have been in the conversation for the Heisman. Phillips was the best edge in the draft. He had one concussion in college and what took him out until he transferred was that he got hit by a car.

An individual RB doesn’t lift a team, a running game does. There were no Barry Sanders or Ricky Williams in this draft. Etienne and Harris may have been the top two this year, but they are not elite. I didn’t get either of the players I wanted but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a good draft because it was. They filled two positions of need that everyone here thought were positions of need, just not with your faves.

Everyone relax, stop bitching. Or don’t…it will give us something to argue about.

  20. ocalarob says:

we have sufficient RBs in Brown,Gaskin&ahmed, we need to address positions of need in the next few picks, we lost Godchow, putting the bama DT next to Davis would be a great move.

  21. Mike E. says:

    NEW BLOG UP!!!

  22. The Flying Pig says:

We didn’t talk about TE much but Brevin Jordan and Pt Freiermuth are still on the board and may even be available in the 3rd

  23. Capt. Stubbs says:

I like both the picks… however I feel waddle was a reach and I’m concerned on his size. I understand how he’s used. I’m just not sure Tua will see him open with the O lines and D lines being so big.

Philips I’m hoping will be great. I think he will, he just needs to stay focused on football instead of the turn tables
