This is it folks! Last game of the 2021 Preseason. Coach Flores has already put it out there most starters will sit so this is the opportunity for all those players on the roster bubble to make their case to be on the 53. It’s also a good chance to see what the depth looks like because during a season, injuries always rear their ugly head and you need solid depth to stay ahead during the season.
Jacoby Brissett will most likely see a fair amount of action and it’s important for him to show he knows the offense and can run the team in Tua’s absence. There’s always the question as to whether the Dolphins will carry 2 or 3 QB’s, my guess would be just 2. Reid Sinnett will end up on the PS and give the Dolphins another precious roster spot. Recent moves have made the WR depth much clearer. The Dolphins placed 2nd year WR Lynn Bowden Jr. on IR ending his season. The Dolphins also waived WR’s Robert Foster and Isaiah Ford. Veteran Allen Hurns was placed on IR earlier so the only bodies left are Will Fuller (Inactive Week 1), DeVante Parker, Albert Wilson, Jaylen Waddle,Preston Williams, Mack Hollins, Jakeem Grant, Kirk Merritt and Malcolm Perry. 9 WR’s , 6 for week 1. One has to go and I feel it will be Malcolm Perry. WIll the big bodied and oft injured Williams hold off equally as large and ace ST’s player Mack Hollins? I don’t think so. Merritt has had a strong preseason so he has a leg up, but there is still game 3 for Perry to change that. However, it looks very much like we’ll have Parker, Wilson, Waddle, Hollins, Grant and Merritt for the first game against the Patriots.
I expect us to carry 4 TE’s, Gesicki, Shaheen, Long and probably Smythe due to his blocking abilities. Myarick could steal his spot, and who knows, maybe it’s Shaheen that gets cut, but it sure seemed like they like Shaheen. Cethan carter also earn as a spot as an H-back/FB/TC, or maybe Long goes on IR because of his injury.
At RB, I think we’ll carry 4 into the regular season, the clear choices right now are the first 3, Myles Gaskin, Salvon Ahmed and Malcolm Brown. After that it’s a real tossup as to whether 2021 7th RD pick rookie Gerrid Doaks makes it, or veteran Patrick Laird or a surprise like Jordan Scarlett. Game 3 will probably have a lot to say about which guy makes it!
On the O-line, still not decided (as far as we know), but I’m sticking with my prediction of Jackson-Kindley-Deiter-Hunt-Eichenberg. Still possible that either Eichenberg starts at LG over Kindley and Jesse Davis starts at RT but I believe it will be the former. Jermaine Eluemunor has also been released. You have to figure we carry at least if not 9 OL so the aforementioned 5 plus Davis, Skura, Little and either Coleman or Pankey.
On defense, despite not seeing a lot of Jaelan Phillips, I still think he’s going to be a major part of our defense. AVG looks ready to be right where he left off last season, and that’s a good thing. I really love our depth at LB with AVG, Baker, McKinney, Phillips, Roberts, Eguavoen, Riley, Biegel. Not sure if Griffin makes that final cut, especially since Roberts has been activated.
On the DL we have the usual Wilkins-Davis-Ogbah, followed by Sieler, Jenkins, Butler and Strowbridge. More than likely that last spot will be up for grabs between Jason Strowbridge and Jonathan Ledbetter, unless we carry 8 DL, which is possible. Benito Jones is still in the mix but Tyshun Render was moved to LB where he faces tough odds against the previously mentioned group.
The Dolphins strong secondary will be led by All-Pro Xavien Howard and Byron Jones at CB along with Nik Needham who refuses to give ground to 2020 1st RD pick Noah Igbinoghene. Good on Needham, who just keeps working hard! The safety group looks Rowe and impressive rookie Jevon Holland, followed by vet Jason McCourty, Clayton Fejedelem (ST’s ace), Brandon Jones (2020 3rd RD pick), Jamal Perry and Nate WIlliams. Probably 4 will make it here among the safeties with 6 CB’s. Perry and Williams are as good as gone leaving perhaps a battle between Fejedelem and Jones or we carry 5 safeties. CB’s should be Howard, Jones, Needham, Igbinoghene, Coleman, McCourty who can play both CB/S
Special teams will be standout PK Jason Sanders as well as newly acquired P Michael Palardy. Jakeem Grant and Jaylen Waddle as well as Noah Igbinoghene will handle the return duties. Long snapper Blake Ferguson returns.
There will always be some surprise cuts, some of the players I have making the roster won’t and some I have being cut won’t get cut. It’s fun to see how things shape up, let’s just hope that injuries don’t make these decisions for the team.
GO DOLPHINS!!!!

ALL teachers follow the same protocol!
Delete this please!
It definitely needs to stay on the last page!!!!!!!
then that would make me first?
delete this please? i think you are still drunk and angry, lol
chill out bud , i dont have anything to do with teachers in texas
where?
that school? the state? the nation?
thats not whats going on in FL
one thing we are not short on is rec’s, we have a studded cast of rec’s, i think they only kept 3 RBs to afford the extra rec’s, our OL is thin also.
Think it was to allow a spot for Cethan, who we should see in 12 and 13 personnel and his important role on STs
We saw him against the Bears on running plays, but don’t recall what he did
Smythe, Long and Cethan in 13 personnel could be a nice weapon, especially games we have issues running
I forget which beat writer wrote about it earlier this offseason, but one of them posted and article that Miami is reaching the stage in their talent acquisition that they will not be signing UDFA’s because of the quality of depth they are achieving through the draft.
Whomever it was, they were wrong again this year.
Robert Jones and Trill Williams beat our veterans to grab spots on the 53. Good for them!
I hope they do more than that. Keep on working on your trade young fellas. Making the 53 is the beginning not the goal!
You build through finding new young talent and repeat year after year through draft and UDFAs. 2nd contract veterans are typically not building blocks.
Jones can play guard and tackle, and Senior Bowl director Jim Nagy said this summer that he didn’t see much difference between his tape and 2020 Dolphins second-round pick Robert Hunt’s college tape and predicted Jones “will play in the league a long time” because he’s “physical and tough.”
I remember that. I guess Coleman was so bad that last game they decided not to bring him back. Maybe we see him get a futures contract at the end of the season.
Steve’s right, it was a Dick move.
You do know that people with the vax can catch and spread just like the unvax. That is a proven fact. Another fact is over 50% of the unvax have had COVID and have stronger antibodies than most of those who got the vax. That % is actually much higher as there are many unvax who don’t know they already have the antibodies unless they get tested as was the case with me.
I have not gotten the vax and will not get the vax. My choice, but I am more probably more protected than you.
You brainwash yourself with your own assumptions.
He’s a Hilllary’s dream, dumb and compliant
you ARE a trump dream, dishonest, stupid, trolling, and like sucking authoritarian dick
steve is wrong, its NOT a dick move, i didnt criticize his spouse, i said that doesnt stop the virus, which is correct
i only asked what she was doing to ensure student safety, and thats what is important, not steve
Yep, my understanding and belief, too.
I think I’ve gone to dark side finding myself agreeing 100% with Wyo and now bbm…..
Wtf, lmao…..
When you have the ability to reason all things are possible
👍
you are NOT more protected than Me, thats where you are wrong, assumption incorrect
you JUST admitted you are biased and have not taken adequate safety precautions
I wont admit that, because i DID
BBM, your “facts” need checking.
Trill Williams looks like one of them who can play both CB and safety. Versatile.
Agree, but we have to let someone go week 2, hope it’s the new guy before him
hopefully your workplace lets u go, lol
And another dick move, by our resident…
do u think about dick all day? or just when you are in the mood?
Just when I picture your forehead, which is as little as possible, but this morning…
ok Wyoming, i wont ask questions to you anymore, if you feel that is a dick move
but dont ask questions to me either, cause thats a dick move now, lol
Bbm, Coleman went on IR he didn’t get released
I agree with BBM, I call it “IR” as in stashed
Ahh, Thanks man! I should have remembered that but drank tequila last night watching college football. Still foggy this morning.
Brandon Powell was not a WR I thought we would target for the PS. A small waterbug slot WR with a little speed but not great speed. Maybe an upgrade over Perry but has not produced much so far in the NFL.
maybe we should stick to football, lol
just a dick suggestion,,,
No, not a dick suggestion. A very good suggestion. See, a blind squirrel does find a nut every now and then.
football it is, and im not looking for dicks or nuts, lol

can also play FB, i think he was injured for PS and still made the 53, they must know what he brings.
His cap hit is fairly large at 2.7m for just an ST ace, so yeah he must bring something to the O we haven’t seen yet
good point, but he didnt get injured for preseason, he got injured during a PS game
in Carter, Miami has a jack-of-all-trades. He’s lined up as a traditional in-line tight end, as an H-back, an F (flex) and contributed substantially on special teams. Miami made a concerted effort to fortify the game’s third phase last season and produced one of the league’s top special teams units
Not really much there for what he might do on O
Think Flores has something planned for him
with only 3 RBs, you’d have to think he may be our FB
I still cannot post from my Iphone. I have tried everything. Chrome app, clearing cache, trying to log in through WordPress and then find the site, even downloaded the wordpress app. Nothing works on the Iphone or Ipad. I get the same loop as described earlier by others. “Log in” loop
While trying to make the thing work the day before yesterday I somehow “followed” the site. I checked my e-mail this morning and every fucking post on the board has blow up my e-mail. I had 380 e-mails in my inbox this morning! Now I am trying to figure out how to make it stop! I don’t want stupid arguments making me miss real mail! AHHHHHHHRG!
Lol, sounds like you trolled your own email
Did you keep on scrollin😜
lol
hire a kid to figure it out
With covid protocols still in the NFL this year, we may need a good bench and a good PS
Looking at the PS, there seems to be several guys there that can come right into the active roster without missing a beat
Different look, than the ones in previous years filled with developmental players
“Saints’ Wil Lutz to undergo surgery that could sideline kicker for eight weeks or more”
Why do I bring up a headline from a month ago? Cause Wil Lutz is the kicker on my Fantasy team. When I say this place is full of knuckleheads most definitely include me. 🙂
There’s a fine line between who you want to draft and who you should, sometimes these minor details get in the way
At least it’s an easy replaceable position, you likely drafted with a late pick
If was one of my top 6 picks would be be livid. Thankfully on this can just laugh at myself.
Public service announcement….
He moves his head away from the ball to create power, which creates a low release point, that affects him because he can’t get it over the obstacles in front of him. that’s why he gets stuck when crowded.
3:31 mark look how low that ball is?
The ball is lower at 3:31 because it is on it’s way up. The ball isn’t released until later. Also, he doesn’t have one release point. No quarterback does. And if he’s getting stuck because he’s crowded, it’s probably because he’s crowded. That’s going to happen to most QB’s. His height and his throwing mechanics aren’t why he struggled last year. He’s not four feet tall. He’s 6’1″ and the guys in front of him are usually bent at the knees when engaging opponents making them shorter.
His biggest problems last year were:
1) Not being fully recovered from injury
2) Limited playbook and lack of control to check out of bad plays
3) Poor decision making
Trying to buy Tax deeds before they reach auction, the hardest part is finding the owner or their heirs, if you buy the tax deed from the county it would involve a suit to quiet title, could get expensive. if you can find the seller who is delinquent, make a deal with them and redeem the title prior to the auction, there’s lots of $$ to be made, Vacant lot redemptions usually run between $1500 – $2500, normally a guy behind on his taxes doesn’t have the money to shell out to redeem.
trouble is locating these people.
i know people doing this.
they by a lot for 4k, turn it over in a week for 10k
What kind of lots? Not likely a lot in the middle of a residential block
If I could find one of these in the middle of a residential block in Sebastian I’d buy one
if Tua gets rid of the ball quickly he’s great, he get’s in trouble when the play takes time to develop, as an opposing DC i would want to take away the quick strikes, make him set up and go thru reads, that allows my DL to get close and block his throwing lanes due to his low release.
You keep talking about his line of sight and throwing lanes. Fact of the matter is Tua doesn’t get a lot of passes knocked down. Tannehill who is 3-4 inches had many more passes knocked down. His height is not an issue. The issue is him is trusting his guys are open and pulling the trigger. Looking at the tape from ps he seems to be more comfortable doing that but we need see it in the regular season games.
The line of sight is for sure an issue, but he’s making strides to fix
He doesn’t get a lot of passes knocked down, because last year he wouldn’t pull the trigger, when his passing lanes were blocked
His height is an issue, but he’s been relatively short his entire football life, and it wasn’t a problem before the NFL he’ll figure it out
Stopping the quick strikes comes from stacking the line (cover 0), which can be done if there’s little to no threat downfield
We saw Tua throw lots of short passes successfully in PS, then some downfield
He’s going to need to continue the downfield ones and why Gesicki may be more valuable, than the speed guys or at least easier to connect with
Russell Wilson doesn’t exactly sit back in the pocket and throw
Tua’s height can be an asset, if he uses it properly, like Wilson does
We’ve seen him in the pocket in PS finding the lanes to move into with much success
No QB succeeds when the entire pocket collapses, most other instance with pressure in PS Tua looked good
Tua is the least of my concerns going into the season, if you told me, as many pundits have, that all this teams needs is for Tua to take the next step, then I’d be sky high for the season
OL and running the ball on O and stopping the run on D are my biggest and only concerns
Tua is 6’1
Midget. Might as well apply for the circus.
LMAO!!!

click on link, select document and accept, under document select notice, selct begin date, yesterday, then click on calendar and go back 1 month. select submit. you will get all the notices, the ones to look for are the ones that say clerk of court on the left, and a specific name on the right. those are the current tax deeds, then search the address.
if you find a lot you can access it on another site, join the tax deed sale and buy it at auction, to hire an attorney to do a quiet title suit will probably cost another 3k and take 90 days.
you have to weigh that against the cost of a lot with a warranty title.
https://indian-river.realforeclose.com/
sign up for auctions, click on calendar, that will show you the next auctions available, and the prior autions so you can get a fix on what they are selling for at auction, add 3k for quiet title to see if it’s worth the effort.
the best way is to contact these owners prior to the auction and make a deal with them
once you make a deal with the current owner who has defaulted on his taxes you hire a title co, give them the signed contract to buy the property.
they do the title search, redeem the taxes and you have a warranty deed and not have to do a quiet title suit.
this is the best way to acquire tax deeds as you get a marketable title this way.
Thanks, went in found court of circuit, didn’t see clerk of the court after sort, couldn’t find the address, so clicked on it, then hit the back button and it took me all the way out.
Will go back in when I have more time, thanks
you dont hit the back button, you hit the red button that says (back to search results), when you click on a file the address should be there, maybe if it’s a vacant land it might not have an address, you search the owners name at the indian river property appraisers site
https://ori.indian-river.org/search/index?theme=.blue§ion=searchCriteriaDocuments&quickSearchSelection=
link didn’t work correctly, i did the search, a few rows down i found one, tried to link it but it takes you to the site, not the specific property.

the reason i keep talking about his line of sight and throwing lanes is because that’s where he got in trouble last year, you could see that he was unable to throw the ball, that;s the reason he had those 90 yard perfomances
I go by what he has done in the past, you guys go by the hype and the predicted future, which one is more accurate?
Everything he’s done is in the past. That’s all we have to go by. You’re just off the mark more than others.
please explain the 3 games where he threw for under 100 yards?
i’m not trying to hit a mark, i’m just trying to understand why he sucked last year and if that will carry on to this year.
in doing that i have looked for why he struggled, it’s a fact, he sucked at the deep throws, because he’s scrambling to clear his throwing lane
I don’t wear a blindfold and act all giddy about the dude until i see it! and that hasn’t happened yet.
what you do is called confirmation bias. You formed an opinion and now only search for information that supports your opinion. The video I posted above is 11 minutes long most of which the guys uses Tua’s mechanics as an example of how a quarterback SHOULD throw the ball. He says “elite” no less than 6-7 times, yet you come away from the video with Look at this moment of this throw (when his motion isn’t even at the top of the throw) as proof of your bias.
You are wrong, have been wrong and will continue to be wrong as long as you reject reality and continue to grasp at your confirmation bias so desperately. (IMO of course)
So the narrator is an expert? read what i’m saying, i hope he’s great!
evaluate his struggles last year, why did he struggle?
he was last in the league in the deep ball.
why is that?
watch the games he struggled, he couldn’t get the ball off.
i’m not searching for information, i’m watching the actual action and forming an opinion based on what i’m seeing, unlike you and your narrator.
sure he’s accurate, throws a great ball, it just comes out too low, block his passing lanes and he’s doomed IMO.
respectfully
see denver, raiders, rams
How many college linemen grow 2-3 inches after they graduate and enter the NFL? (gonna go out on a limb here and say NONE) So would you say that most NFL linemen are the same height as they were in college? Why did it all of the sudden become an issue for Tua only once he entered the NFL? Answer= IT ISN’T HIS PROBLEM! Simple as that.
Alabama had a weak schedule with a pro like team, like college players against pee wee teams.
In the pro’s he’s at a disadvantage because he’s no longer surrounded by superior talent.
were all the linemen on those teams shorter than typical O line and D linemen? Don’t move the goal posts by changing your story to yeah he never had a problem with his low side armed release and short stature because of the level of competition. It was never a problem for him going against the same stature players in college. Why is it now? again the occam’s razor answer is because it is not a problem.
I hope you’re right, we shall see soon enough
speaking of alabama, they play my hurricanes tomorrow night!

____
I already gave an overview in my 11:33 am post, but I’ll be honest in saying that if I did show you an explanation of the 3 games, I’m almost certain you’ll ignore it like everything else that’s been presented to refute his height and mechanics claims. I don’t really feel like taking the time to do a breakdown analysis of games if the person I’m speaking to already has their mind made up on the subject.
I do know the Rams game was his first NFL start, so the staff was definitely not asking him to do much. Add into the fact that he wasn’t able to get on the field because the defense and special teams kept putting the Rams back on the field with scores and you end up getting not many opportunities for Tua. Breida fumbled giving the ball back near our 10He was going up against one of the best D-lines in the league and our run game was pretty much ineffective all game. The play calling didn’t help either. That being said, he did make some poor decisions, but if you go back and watch the game there isn’t a time during this game where his height or his throwing mechanics comes into play as reason for lack of success.
Didn’t we win that game? Anyhow — Tua needs to play better than last year. Flores says that and Tua says that.
He looked like a dear in headlights at times and didn’t stretch the field much. Doesn’t everyone agree on that? But he was a rook coming off a bad injury in his first half season. So not sure what the issue is.
He looked much better in the preseason games. Isn’t that what we are all hoping for?
wait let me tune my guitar and play some blues to back these excuses!
Interesting take, could this be the reason Herbert excelled last year?
Miami has the 2nd easiest strength-of-schedule amongst fantasy QBs in 2021. They face six of the nine worst teams against QBs in 2020, making him a viable start in these matchups. These bottom-feeders include Atlanta, Houston, Carolina, Jacksonville, Tennessee, and the Jets twice.
Sure, many variables go into strength-of-schedule and it will fluctuate from one season to the next. No one stat holds all the answers. But as far as metrics are concerned, strength-of-schedule provides a decent signal for future performance, especially for players on the extreme “easy” and “hard” ends of the spectrum. For instance, the QBs with the two easiest fantasy schedules on paper going into 2020 were Aaron Rodgers and Justin Herbert. Both players went on to wildly outperform their ADP.
Miami has some easy games, but not to start. We’ll see about Herbert but can’t take away from that season. And him doing good is not about Tua. Just about where they were drafted.
it can’t be denied that the biggest question mark on this team is Tua, to dismiss this without question is not reality.
too much kool aide going around here
Of course Tua is the biggest question mark on the team. Have more questions about the OL, but he is the QB. Unless you have a Mahomes in place isn’t that the way it always work? We’re just lucky he is looking good right now.
Reading an article on Fins FF players to draft, they talk about ADP (avg draft position)
Does anyone use ADP when drafting?
Sorry Toba, if I let the cat out of the bag
-That guy spoke about Tua’s throwing mechanics for 11 minutes non-stop on a single breath. He’s an expert.
-Rock, thanks for removing your turd from the punchbowl (Pets win).
-I have no problem tearing into someone if I think it’s warranted, or just busting balls when the mood suits, but I always take care not to insult or even give the appearance of insulting any blog member’s family. It’s courtesy and simply good manners.
-I was concerned about only carrying 3 RBs on the active roster, but we now have 3 of our guys from training camp on the PS now. Same rules this year as last, we can elevate 2 PS players on game day without removing anyone from the active roster. We’re good at RB.
-9 days until the season begins. Might as well be next month it’s taking so damned long-ugh.
-I know it’s the Pets in NE, but if our defense can’t stop the run and put a hurting on a rookie QB, I’m going to be very disappointed.
-Wednesday, I paid $30 for two NY strip steaks from the grocery store. Thanks, Obama.
-They were really good steaks. I wish I’d bought 4.
Genius move to only carry 3 rbs, when you can stash some on the ps, and stashing 3 allows you to still have insurance, if one is poached, especially since that position is mostly dime a dozen
The new PS rules really allow for increased roster flexibility. I hope they keep those rules in place as the new norm. The new IR rules too.
I guess it’s only 6 days if you count the Thursday game. I don’t. The season starts when the Dolphins or someone from the AFCE plays. I’ll definitely watch the Thursday game though, lol.
““So I think just going through it and talking through it with him and you can kind of see his confidence this year compared to last year just because you get that year under your belt and he has that knowledge of the game and kind of just talking through things. It’s been very productive.”
— Mike Gesicki on his one-on-one work with Tua.
Sounds quite homerish 🤪
Maybe it is, but you see something from how much it is. Left a much longer take on it out from Crabbs’ article cause would just take up too much space.
https://sports.yahoo.com/tua-tagovailoa-mike-gesicki-chemistry-132524462.html
I certainly question whether Tua will be successful. I do not, however, question whether it will be because of some imagined throwing motion deficiency that will handicap him for his entire career.
^^^^^^
Yep, we just have to see how much he improves in the real situation. I think he’ll have a better year and I think Herbert will regress, possibly significantly. It happens to all young QBs but just like Baker, I thin k both will end up leading their teams to successful seasons for a long time.
The young QBs I think will have problems are Lock, Herbert, Hurts, Jones, Love, Lance, Darnold, Wilson and possibly Murray, Lawrence, and Fields. Lol, most of them. It’s a hard job that takes time.
I saw a headline on the NFLN at lunch today “Romo says Wilson will be in the discussion as top 3-5 QB in the league very soon.
F’n Hope not! But gotta ask. REALLY ROMO? what do you base this on?
I have to get this off my chest. It has nothing to do with you all so I apologize in advance.

I’ve been getting the same from “Chase Bank” (no card there) multiple times a day. Call up to say take me off and the guy with an accent says “well we can get you 0% on whatever card you have anyhow.” He knew my full name, including the middle one.
Vultures everywhere. Everywhere! (from Casablanca).
If you want a reason for why Tua had a mediocre rookie year (an that’s all it was, not “Tua sucked”), look no further than Chan Gailey being fired…sorry…retiring….as soon as the season was over. The offense was designed for Fitz and his strengths. Tua was shackled by play calling. Nothing to do with how tall he is or his throwing motion. Gailey was a dinosaur with a Fitz bias. Kinda like ORob with an anti-Tua bias.
Also all of his receivers got injured
Excuses! LOL
No! As I was told repeatedly when Tannehill was padding stats against 3rd and 4th place schedules, strength of schedule absolutely, unequivocally DOES NOT MATTER!!! Now stop with your crazy ideas that the level of competition makes any difference in a player’s performance!
“Truth is not what you want it to be; it is what it is, and you must bend to its power or live a lie.”
– ‘The Book Of Five Rings’
Why is it so hard to live the truth?
So many illusions and ego. It is a constant battle one has with oneself. Most of the time the ego wins.
Most males….of course this isn’t an absolute…stop gaining height around age 16. Tua has been playing against the same height players since about that age. I’m guessing maybe he figured out a way to manage seeing as how he somehow found a way to throw almost 60 TDs in 2 years in HS, play for the best team in college and got drafted by an NFL team. I’m not sold on Tua yet, but the issue is his ability to makes reads and get the ball out. He was too tentative…as all rookies tend to be…and probably wasn’t confident enough to make those tighter window throws in the NFL. We’ll see if another year helps him get past that.
Jevon Holland is now wearing his old college number after changing to 8.
The eight ball right in the middle of the field.
I’m glad guys have more range on the numbers they can wear. I contend that Reggie Bush would have had an even better NFL career if he could have stayed in the 5. Other guys too but I always think of Reggie he petitioned the league I’m pretty sure but didn’t win. At that time not even the 15 would was eligible for a Runningback.
If Holland is what they think he is and I hope he is he’s going to be a lot of fun to watch but he’ll be a big reason why this Defense takes a step forward.
He might take some lumps early on as he rounds into form for a playoff push.
I think at some point Holland will be a big part of the defense and playmaker. Not sure what his role will be early on though.
Strange days we live in. Dad brings zip ties and two back-up dudes to a school conference.
———————————————-
“When an Arizona school employee called a parent on Thursday to share that his son had come in close contact with someone who tested positive for the coronavirus, the dad was told his son must stay at home for at least a week.
Instead, later that morning, the man walked into Mesquite Elementary School with his son and two other men carrying zip ties before confronting the principal over the school’s quarantine policy.”
“In a live video posted to Instagram, one of the two men who joined the dad told his followers that they were about to “confront this administration” for “breaking the law.”
“If necessary, we’ll do a citizen’s arrest,” the man said before showing off the “law enforcement zip ties” they brought.”
“No arrests were made on school grounds because the men left before police arrived, the superintendent said.”
Lol…strange indeed. And, people wonder why I laugh so much!
I’m not sold on Tua yet either. In fact, I see Mac Jones and I have the same concerns in that he and Tua were from Alabama. Same fucking issues imo and their ability to succeed in the NFL.
Yet, one on this blog lives in the past and sees no potential for growth or success due to past results. LMFAO.
Good thing no one has ever judged me on my failures, they’d be fucking surprised! Lol.
I see no potential for growth because he still has the same low release. Brady throws the ball incredibly high and he’s 6;4.
stay tuned the season is upon us, we will soon find out if Tua can hang.
Right, i got it. “You see no……”
Let me correct that for you “you see not….”
Lol!
why do i respond to a troll?
can;t have a civil conv with this moron
I loved Throwdown Thursday CK started yesterday because he thought it was Friday.
I was like, wtf, cool….
🍻
Funk Friday
Nice.
We all want to see what our team will look like on game day. You know what’s going to happen, we’re going to see what they look like when they play. Not what any of us here think, predict or have concerns about. We’ll see what they are week to week. How’s that for clarity? 😉
JT on Guitar
that was some sad shit Jim Croce dying in an airplane crash going home to his wife and kid
look at the 2:31 mark of this video, Tom brady is 6’4, look how high the ball is, Tua is way shorter and doesnt get the ball above his head.
2:09 mark
Ray Charles could see this shit!
So why can’t you? Lmao…
go away ass hole
Yes I am! First thing you’ve said in the last year that’s made sense…..lmfao.
Calling people names applies to everyone except Orob….lmao again!
….at least TRY and make an effort to LIVE by your own rules!
Oh my.
a different throwing motion, Tua has to move away from the ball to create power where Tom Brady over hands the ball, Tua;s release is way low! look at the difference, and that;s why he gets in trouble
You’re trolling the blog with your nonsense. Hope you’re happy.
Great song
Oink oink oink oink
Catchy tune
I’m a piggy oink oink oink
Really thought provoking lyrics
Lmao…..best line…I’m a pig!
Tua in 2020
— No offseason program (thanks, COVID)
— Not yet fully recovered (less than a year) from his near career-ending hip injury at Alabama, and it showed on tape: he lost a lot of mustard on his throwing power
— An OC whose entire playbook was for a very different type of QB in Fitzpatrick
— A banged-up WR unit, plus two prior starters opted out due to COVID (Wilson and Hurns), with a severe lack of SPEED
— A VERY lackluster O-Line (PFF ranked us dead last in ’20)
— No running game to rely upon, in order to take pressure off the passing game
— Brand new Offensive scheme to learn
— He was a rookie: most rookies have a learning curve, brand new teammates to get accustomed to, and (correct me if I’m wrong, I could be) I don’t believe he was granted the power to audible at the LOS
These aren’t ‘EXCUSES’, these are facts… and he still went 6-3 last year, despite these ‘EXCUSES’.
That hip of his now seems to be fully healed, so he’s got a lot more snot with his throwing power. His footwork appears to be 100% better than last year… again, his hip is much better this year to provide the agility he needs to have that footwork. And his pocket-presence seems to be VERY good, to boot. His already outstanding accuracy may improve even more this year.
He’s 6’1″… not a 5’10” Kyler Murray, not a 5’11” Russell Wilson, and not a 6’0″ Drew Brees: he’s taller than all of them. If his throwing motion would need to be adjusted to get the ball out higher, you can be damn sure it will happen with this coaching staff.
The only thing I’m concerned about with Tua? Injury. And even so, he looks a LOT bigger and thicker than he did at Alabama. Now let’s be mature about this, kids: his thighs are so ripped this year, his upper body has gotten much bigger, his arms look studly, and it looks like he could take a LB out in a street fight. I’m not so sure we need to be concerned about his injury history any longer with the way he looks now, but for joints with freak injuries.
Tua of 2021 is going to be nothing like Tua of 2020… JMO, as always, and I was able to write this whole thing up without calling anybody out or disrespecting a fellow blogger. It’s ALWAYS alright to disagree, y’all… doesn’t mean ya have to hate somebody with a differing opinion.
I agree….I’m having a bad day. Lol!
I’d absolutely LOVE to start a radio show with ORob and me as the hosts. We’d be able to respectfully disagree with one another and then go golfing after the show as friends. It’s OKAY to disagree, folks!!!
Will you get to break Orob’s rules like he does? Lmao….
Otherwise, I’m not interested….
I just think it’s cool to be cool to others, that’s all. You, Krishna, tend to pizz me off a lot. But I can’t hold a grudge for long… it’s not in my nature to harbor resentment. Why? Life’s too short, man.
So when I interact with you, I try my best to forgive and forget our past interactions that weren’t so fond to remember. Be the best person you can be in the moment, sir.
Additionally, when I interact with you, I also remember some very fond interactions with you in the past. I’d rather build on the good than upon the bad.
I’ve got to be honest, LOL: if I’ve had a bad day and someone intentionally tries to get under my skin here, I’m going to give it to that person: I’m only human.
Yes, even I can do better.
Mf13ss, I tend to piss a lot of people off because I shoot straight.
Most don’t like that because it challenges them to show up and justify their positions, especially ideas I have considered for years.
Most people throw up their latest fad bullshit and expect me to take them seriously. I can see fraud, bullshit, ego, and victims pretty quickly.
Start with any of that and if I see it, you think I will support you? Lmao.
Tell the truth, search for the truth, or just let it reveal itself. I have no other agenda.
“You can’t handle the truth!” Wasn’t that a movie, “A Few Good Men”? I don’t know, Tom Cruise and Jack Nicholson movie.
That’s my only agenda and I try to see it in everything and lately I call it ALL it out.
Mrs. K always shushed me. That’s real. She’s not shushing me now.
Do your homework and don’t lead with bullshit.
Is that too much to ask???? Lmao.
I should qualify, Mrs. K mostly agreed with me, she shushed me because she hated confrontation. I hate it too, but unlike her, I don’t back down.
Histrionics…you forgot histrionics.
Lol…if that’s what you call it.
When you’re your reasoning is incoherent, contradictory, and ego-centric, count me in on calling you out….lmao.
We haven’t disagreed in a long time…scary, eh? ‘Human sacrifice. Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria.” — Dr. Peter Venkman
I will say I think I’m on the dark side these days…lmao.
If allowed (is that histrionic), I will be the only unvaxed person at the Fest. Hope I don’t get from any of you….lmao.
Why wouldn’t you be allowed and who would disallow you?
Just being transparent and truthful because some here think it’s irresponsible and not fair to others.
I don’t agree with that, but I will walk away if that’s the group opinion. Again, straight up.
You would not be the only unvaxed.
Pp, 99% vaxed is somehow herd immunity or not. I should be safe from you fuckers, but I’m not. Lmao!
I like the Ghostbusters reference

LOL
I feel like I’m reading the same blog from back in May.
Lol, that’s funny. I wasn’t sure if I understood the symbolism.

—————-
I respect so-called ‘straight shooters’, man… and IMO, there are many (as in the vast majority) on this board. Everybody has an opinion, and not every opinion is going to sit well with everybody.
The idea is to be respectful of opinions foreign to our own. And if being a ‘straight shooter’ denies ya of being open-minded, not sure what to tell ya.
We can always agree to disagree but don’t think one has the moral high ground by self-anointing oneself as one who “shoots straight”: that’s pure narcissism, and there seems to be a bit of it going around this board from a few posters here.
If that’s who you think I am, you don’t know me. Look me in the eye, I welcome that.
Funny thing you have never shown up.
I respect a lot of opinions that challenge me. Most opinions don’t because they’re rooted in bias and ego.
By the way, Tua measured in at 6-0 217 as a rookie. He’s not 6-1. But that one extra inch could be the difference lol. He has 10 inch hands which is above average for the position, so did Drew Brees 6-0 and Russell Wilson 5-10+. He’s not tall but he has a solid lower end body (legs/base) and really good feet in the pocket. He’s also very accurate.
Josh Allen at 6-5 237 has 10.3″ hands and was not accurate coming out of college. Players improve with some more experience. Just some food for thought.
I know I have asked this before but, where are folks staying for the Fest? I have the Sheldon booked, but no pool. Any other suggestions?
Pocket, billiards or swimming? LOL
Not making the fest but wife and I stay at “The Desoto” in Dania Beach most of the time we go down there. It is nice and very peaceful. No pool but you can throw a rock to the ocean. They have bikes you can ride (no rental fee). Most all rooms have a full kitchenette so you may cook for yourself. We like to go out but was nice for breakfast. They have a gas grill for your use. No smoking. You have to go out by your car for that. It’s a pleasant bike ride down to Margaritaville. Also, a straight shot to the casino’s.
grew up there, dania fishing pier.
You sure you grew up? 😆
i try not too, what’s your excuse?
Yeah, that’s why I like staying there. I usually go fish off the pier one day. Fall fishing is great. Catch many big Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Mutton Snapper, some Snook. Even caught a slot Red Grouper once. Also some Pompano, but it’s better in spring for them.
Hate it when the Ladyfish are there though.
use to get lobsters at dania bch, they have jacks underwater there, the game where you bounce the ball and pick up the jacks, they look like the jacks however they are huge and made of concrete. not sure how they got there, looks like something you would use to prevent ships from entering.
just north of the pier
i haven’t been to dania bch since 1985, probably has changed a lot
Mike, did i mention Tua sucks?
No you didn’t mention that. Why’s that? lol
LOL

here are the Jacks
Had not heard about that. Maybe to prevent erosion or just artificial reef.
i first seen them in 1975, they’ve been there a long time
Wanted to go kayaking in Westlake but wife says it looks too “gaitory” and “snakey”. lol
gatory
no gators near there, too brackash
Are you talking about west lake tohopekaliga?
I have caught many of snook in the intracoastal there.
An hour after I caught that red grouper, I cleaned it and we went back to our room. I made us a salad and had fresh blackened grouper that evening out in the garden area of our of little hotel at The Desoto. Then, got on bikes and rode down to Margaritaville to have some drinks and listen to live music. Good times, man!
the boardwalk is great, I spent most of my high school days playing paddleball on Garfield ST
Can you fish off the Lauderdale jetty? I have not drove up that far yet.
use to be able to walk out there and fish, haven’t been there for years
I will have to check it out.
my uncle and i fished Govt Cut in Miami, we were moving, he told me to pull up the anchor, when i did the boat wouldn’t start! we ended up on the jettys there. had to be rescued by the coast guard as my old uncle couldn’t walk on the rocks.
we went back the next day to get the boat, it looked like a crane lifted it on the rocks due to low tide. we had to go back the next night to get it off the rocks.
That sucks!
Uncle Ryburn, he’s 87 now, lives within 10 mins of me, still going strong.
huge dolphin fan, and yes he thinks Tua sucks also.
Shame on you for brainwashing your uncle. lol
Are you talking about west lake tohopekaliga?
——————————-
No. It’s that marsh lake between Hollywood Beach and the mainland parallel to the intracoastal waterway.
Maybe mangrove not really marsh.
More likely to see Florida crocs than gators there. But you could see a few gators. Brackish water doesn’t bother them. In laws live on Emerald Isle, NC, had to have several gators (including a 12 footer) relocated. They were in the intercoastal all the time. Occasionally find one one the beach.
i have never seen a Gator in N Lake, S Lake or W Lake, they are west in the Glades.
Probably been awhile since you were there?
Gator population has boomed. They are pretty much everywhere now.
I saw a guy catch a black tip shark off the fr lauderdale jetty
This was probably 30 years ago. I was in high school
yeah, the Eruojacks of Dania are really cool. They were originally placed there as an experiment to try and stop beach erosion. The design failed and was not repeated. There are at least two more of these structures that I know of. There is another set down by the Yankee Clipper. Really cool dive site for a easy access beach dive.
Starting my watch list for next draft. RB to keep an eye on is Kenneth Walker, 5’10 210 from Mich. State. Transferred there from Wake Forest where he averaged 5.4 per carry. Last night he had 264 yards on 23 carries, 11.5 average and 4 TD’s. He’s a junior but likely to enter draft.
I just had an epiphany…..Tua sucks!
Can’t wait to hear and learn why.
Lmao…..
Game Day!

I was diving the Jacks about 20 years ago and had a 20′ wide Manta Ray sale over me. It’s shadow spooked me It was so big I thought it was a boat! I was amazed because at the time I didn’t think Manta’s were in Fl waters. Incredible site. I had my dive camera with me, but the water was rather murky that day and by the time I got the camera off the lanyard and positioned to take a picture it came out as an indistinct dark blob. Had argument’s with my dive buddy for years after that because he called me a liar and insisted that they were not in Fl waters.
Yeah, your buddy is wrong. I had seen one 3 years ago swim by the deep end of the Dania Beach pier.
Couple of big games today with Clemson v Georgia, Alabama v Miami. I think NC lost to VT last night.
Wisconsin v Penn State
That’s a good one, too.
Yeah, UNC ran into a brick wall. Typical of a Mack Brown team even though I like him as a coach. Sometime it seems his teams are not ready. Their QB is considered top 2 before this season started. Rough start for him but one of the INT’s was not his fault as the WR had the ball taken right out of his arms and had 4-5 dropped passes as well. The loss of their dynamic RB duo of Williams/Carter really showed up.
VT’s DB’s were very impressive. Tight coverage and solid tackling the whole game. If we needed DB’s there are 2 that I would put on my watch list for the draft.
Phelon, How you feel about what is going on with Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller?
Good for him for standing by his principles. Politicians and the military should never mix.
That said, he knew what would happen when he said what he said. I would imagine he already had a fall back plan to retiring from the Corps.
Hope he did. He was 3 years away from his 20.
My thoughts as well.
Looks like Wisc. vs Penn St. is going to be an old fashioned slobber knocker!
Not sure I know what that means? lol
Lol, Hard hitting, low scoring
Definitely a Good Ole JR saying … love the reference
I really thought it meant a hooker on her last week before retirement
FYI – cancelled my trip to DE for the weekend
☹️
Sorry about that for you. Nothing wrong with being in NYC though.
Rob, I’m never gonna grow up! What fun would that be?
👍
Hmmm….. where’s Tinkerbell 😉
Yeah something tells me Peter Pan would NOT be interested in her
Guessing a single Mike E would be though. 🙂
Mike E;s a toys are us kid! 😉
Yep!
Gus Johnson and Joe Klatt might be my favorite college announcers
Sorry Bookman!
But that was a good ballgame to watch
Thanks. They kind of blew it in the first half. Missed opportunities. 2 great defenses though. It will be interesting to see where these 2 defenses rank at the end of the year.
