That 3rd down play has worked for us multiple times for us this year I am not going to bitch about it
Exactly, teams know what is coming. They were ready for it as soon as Smythe stopped for the snap. Don’t think it is a play that will work most of the time going forward.
Can’t complain too much. We’ve done exactly what I wanted. Run, run then run some more. It’s the next step we needed to take. If the STs and D show up we could be r e a l l y good. I’d have kicked a FG there. I also wouldn’t have tried a TE sneak – everyone’s seen it b4. Still, so far so good
