It’s still one game in 17, and at 6-3 the Dolphins are far from being out of contention. However, one needs to accurately put in context exactly what we are in contention for. To win the division, sure, its definitely possible, likely even if the Bills lose tonight against the Bengals. Winning the division is nice, but we have tried to assemble a team with a very small window of opportunity to go all the way. As currently constituted, that won’t happen. At least I should say “shouldn’t happen”, because we haven’t defeated a good team with a winning record since September of ’22.
We got back Jalen Ramsey, Xavien Howard, Jaelan Phillips, Bradley Chubb and Andrew Van Ginkel are all healthy now and playing well, yet we still can’t close out a good team. The offense was more of an issue, and if I’m being honest, why was Raheem Mostert used so sparingly in this game until it was almost too late? Besides De’Von Achane, Mostert is our best RB, our most consistent guy. I know he’s a little banged up, but Ahmed and Wilson just don’t threaten the defense like Mostert does. He looked pretty darn fresh in the 4th quarter, I wish we didn’t save him until then because we squandered too many drives without him. Penalties have been a killer as well, and we escaped a penalty today that should have been called against AVG. It’s not that AVG was looking to hurt Mahomes, he actually turned away and hit him with his back, but the fact is, Mahomes was out of bounds when AVG ran into him and that’s a penalty.
I don’t want to hear the excuse that we had 2 OL out. Every team has subs somewhere, and the O-line was making plenty of room for Mostert in the 4th quarter. Tua had a subpar performance for him. Tyreek Hill dropped a big pass, but Tua with the game on the line let a pass slip out of hand and mishandled a snap, one which did not look egregiously off target. He said it himself, you can’t end a game for your team on a play like that. Another observation is we’ve had a few slow starts. Those of you that attended the Fest game know we were behind 14-0 after the 1st quarter. We scored 3 points against the Eagles in the 1st quarter. We scored 7 against the Patriots, and were shutout the entire first half against the Chiefs. If we’re going to defer, we need to do a better job in the first half because the really good teams put their foot on your neck and don’t let you back in the game.
What can I say, the narrative that we can’t beat the good teams will continue to exist as long as it’s true and accurate, and right now it’s 100% accurate. We look like a different team against the better teams, we’re tight, and we get shut down on offense, and sometimes it’s the defense that looks disinterested. Today, the defense did its best, but the offense was the weak unit that didn’t hold up their end of the bargain. It’s great to be the #1 ranked offense in the NFL, but it sucks when you can’t back it up against better competition. Who cares if we can score 70 against the Broncos when we can only score 14 against the Chiefs?
We have the BYE week next week. Last week we lost OG Isaiah Wynn for the rest of the season, and it’s likely the same fate waits for OG Robert Jones, who ironically just filled in for Isaiah Wynn after coming off this week. Hopefully, after 2 weeks of rest, RG Robert Hunt will be back, and be healthy for the rest of the season. Lester Cotton, who played RG today will probably slide to LG as long as Hunt as healthy. RB De’Von Achane should make his return in Week 11 at home against the Las Vegas Raiders. He will undoubtedly give the offense a huge boost, and when we split carries between the two backs, Mostert and Achane both really thrive. It doesn’t leave that vacuum every time Mostert comes off the field.
Listen, it sucks, if you have friends that are NFL fans like I do, you know they’re getting a hearty laugh at our team, and rightfully so. We have yet to look anything like a team to fear when the opponent has been top level. 48-20 loss to the Bills, 31-17 loss to the Eagles and now a 21-14 loss to the Chiefs. Just remember, the #1 scoring offense in the NFL at a whopping 33.9PPG, practically 34 points per game has scored 17PPG against winning teams. Forget the defense which on occasion has not played well, but the high flying offense seems to wither when challenged, and our young HC Mike McDaniel needs to find a way to stop that from occurring. That won’t be an easy fix, but it has to happen if we’re going to ascend to a playoff winning team. I think our defense is going to be good going forward, but the offense has to be as effective against the good teams as they are against the weaker ones. I needed to vent this, spew it out of my system, it’s cathartic.
GO DOLPHINS!!!

17
As far as our Defense is concerned, when we yield 17 or more points in the 1st half of games this season, we are 1-2 (lone win came against the Chargers, when they scored exactly 17 points in the 1st half in game one of our season).
Remember, the ‘Reek fumble and lateral for the Chefs* TD wasn’t against our Defense. But for the sake of the scoreboard in general, we’re 1-3 in games where teams score 17 or more points by the half so far this season.
Gotta fix that.
I DO believe it gets fixed, starting with the Raiders after the BYE.
2023 Miami Dolphins Defensive rankings
Preface: remember about a month ago when we were around the #26-#28 ranks all over? Welp, we’ve played the 2 Super Bowl teams since in Philly and KC…
Yards yielded: #16
Points yielded: #25
Takeaways: #25
Passing yards yielded: #18
Rushing yards yielded: #15
MAJOR improvements, though we’d like to see our points yielded and takeaways improve. But hey… and again… we just played the 2 Super Bowl teams.
Most of y’all here have known me for over a decade. As such, y’all know I’m all about making our beloved team better and better… and that oftentimes means constructive criticism, no matter how harsh the reality may be. THAT’S REAL! And it’s rubbed some the wrong way over the years. Sorry/not sorry, I will always be REAL.
But seriously, I never want to sound like a cheerleader just for the sake of ‘GO TEAM’!
FOLKS, our team this year is seriously talented, it has depth unlike any year over the last two decades, Tua is the real deal, and Coach McDaniel is probably the coach we’ve been looking for since Shula retired.
ENJOY THIS RIDE!!! I seriously have FAITH in this team this season… something I’ve not felt since…
LFG!!!
GO PHINS!!!
HELL YEAH!!!
^
It’s fucking fun being in the conversation.🙂
Damn right, my Brother!
M13, Achane is doing Gale Sayers type stuff.🙂
Seriously so!!! Right on!!!
The potential of our defense is underrated. Yes they have to live up to it.
McDaniel didn’t hire Fangio because he was an expert on defense. Just make the playoffs. 🙂
Mike
I think he’s talking about you….lol

It’s all about context. Sometimes a pressure is a good. Sometimes the QB moves away from the pressure and throws a TD. A sack ends the play that’s that. We’ve had numerous occasions this season when an opposing QB stepped up and made a big play against pressure. They somehow never do that when they’re sacked.
Exactly. Almost is like close but not quite right.
Pressures are a baseball stat
Highest-graded player: WR Tyreek Hill (93.0)
Hill is on a record-setting pace this season. He leads the NFL in receiving yards (1,075) and touchdown receptions (eight) and is the second-highest-graded player in the league. No one has more 20-plus-yard receptions (12).
Biggest surprise: Edge Andrew Van Ginkel (89.8)
Van Ginkel has recorded 22 pressures and four sacks while boasting a top-10 pass-rush grade (84.3) and a respectable 70.3 run-defense grade.
Stat to know: The Dolphins have the highest team rushing grade in the NFL (92.8).
Congratulations to Tyreek for tying the knot yesterday
Back to the silly-ass discussion again? Sigh
I guess it’s the bye week and we could be talking about the Republican debates last night which I would really like to avoid.
Pressures are important we lead league in sacks we leads league in pressures We leave the league in hits. They are all good for our defense. They are all important.
You cannot sack the quarterback, every play or even every drive but you CAN pressure him every play, which leads to a better overall outcome then for sacks on first down. Some of you are just silly. Everything comes down to the specific situation. Sure you can say that a pressure. Isn’t as good as a sack because a quarterback can beat pressure and he can’t beat a sack. It’s all situational a sack on first down does shit just like a pressure that doesn’t lead to an error.
A sack on third down with a loss of 2 yards is only incrementally better than a pressure that leads to an incompletion on third down. On first or second down with more opportunities to go it can mean nothing.
In Minneapolis this morning. This Florida boy hates the cold!!!
Yay Ramsey!
I love the timing of the bye week for our team. It’s a perfect chance to get healthy and make a run…but I really hate that we don’t have a game this week. Sunday morning I will be wandering around my house, lost and forlorn, lol.
I really want to see this defense in action again.
Find me a HOF pass rusher who had the most pressures ever in the NFL but didn’t actually sack the QB
Your argument is silly 🙃
I have no idea when pressures became an official stat in the NFL, but sacks did not become an official stat until 1982. So that really reduces the amount of Hall of Fame pass rushers I have to look at.
Derek Brooks, Chris Doleman, Kevin Green, Ray Lewis, Junior Seau, Mike Singletary, Lawrence Taylor, Derrick Thomas, Andre Tippett, Brian Urlacher.
That’s it 10 guys inducted since they started counting sacks
I should say, rather inducted, who played after they started counting sacks.
Does anybody really know what constitutes a pressure? For me, a pressure isn’t even remotely close to the impact of a sack. If a pressure doesn’t result in an incomplete pass or an INT, who gives a shit? If the QB ends up completing a pass or scrambling for a positive play…again…who gives a shit if a guy got pressure?
***
The big difference is the loss of yardage. A pressure on 2nd and 5 that ends in an incompletion ends up in a 3rd and 5. Not a big deal, so the pressure really didn’t do much. A sack in that same scenario ends up in a 3rd and long…which is a whole lot harder to complete than a 3rd and 5. Plus, a sack can knock teams out of FG range where a pressure may not.
***
Sacks are way more impactful. I don’t give a crap how many pressures a player or team gets. It’s a stupid stat. It’s a stat that measures a guy ALMOST making a play. So what? It’s really no better than an incomplete pass and the pressure may not even be what causes the incompletion. Do ya think guys go back to the huddle and celebrate getting a pressure? No, they don’t.
This debate reminds me of all those discussions we’d have about Tannehill and people would pull these worthless stats out to justify how good he was. STOP. Sacks are da shit. Pressures are like getting to second base with your girlfriend. It feels okay and you are happy you got there, but you still go home wishing you’d got more.
Sack on first down is worthless if he completes on second down, just saying
**converts
Someone should tell Robert Saleh to read this blog so he can learn what the important stats are on defense, lol.
Rock,
A sack on first down is way more impactful than a pressure on first down. Again, it’s the yardage lost. It’s a lot harder to be successful when you’re 2nd and 15-17 than 2nd and 10 especially because it might lead to a 3rd and 10 instead of a 3rd and 5. Now, if you’re gonna say the sack only resulted in a 2 yard loss…then yeah…that isn’t as big a difference but sacks are usually much deeper than 2 yards. It also completely changes how you can call your defensive plays. It makes it easier on the defense and allows you to play more aggressively. I’m not saying pressures can’t impact a play, but they still aren’t as good as sacks.
My argument has never been that the impact is always equal. Just that situationally they can be. And both are valuable. Pressure is not a worthless stat. And if you disagree with that you were just wrong.
Rock,
This is great weather for MN in November. I saw a guy walking around in shorts and a polo this morning going to work. It’s a Spring-like day!
I remember when in HS living in north central Indiana, we would get together and play basketball outside in shorts and a sweatshirt when it was in the low 20’s outside.
That cold the snow is usually hard and crunchy so we would play basketball instead of football in the snow. Then when we got a good fresh snow it was back to football.
My argument is iron clad. Everyone on the other side is fucking wrong. It’s as simple as that.
I knew we were kindred spirits
This is exactly how I approach every argument I make in front of a judge in court
We should have signed AVG for more than 1 year.
Okay, let’s go baseball with the analogy…
A hurry = a single
A hit = a double
A sack = a triple
A strip sack = a home run
The more singles, doubles, triples, and home runs we hit as a team, the more it wears down the pitcher (the QB)… every pressure takes a toll on him.
Now if you’re a BALL HAWK(!!!) like me, I could parlay a hurry or a hit into an INT or possibly a pick-6.
The conversation/debate is too linear when it needs to be looked at in a nonlinear fashion. “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson.
So in conclusion, I would deduce that YES, pressures matter. Ask David Carr how he felt after acquiring David Carr Syndrome ™, constantly running for life and hearing footsteps in the dark.
oops
While I absolutely love Emerson and think he’s a genius, too …
“For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction” is Newton’s 3rd Law of motion from the late 1600’s.
btw though, I like your baseball analogy.
I think all of you are right about the sacks versus pressures debate.
But pressures do also exert a subtle effect on play calling as well,
sometimes altering what will be considered
later in the game,
almost like a missed FG can make a coach
(especially a college coach)
think twice about playing for the FG
rather than going for it on 4th.
The thing about pressure is it’s totally subjective. It all depends on how the QB deals with the pressure. Sacks are fully objective, you get to the QB, you take him down and if he holds on the ball, the play is over, dead. If he fumbles, well, you never know.
Unless, of course a referee decides that you took him to the ground too hard and then it’s a 15 yard penalty in the first down. I can continue to play this game as well.
Does it get any better than a 1 win team vs a 2 win team? Thursday Night Football is the best!
To beat LV we have to hold Crisby to no more than 1 sack.

I was almost certain of the quote coming from Newton as well. I looked it up and this is what I got… and why I attributed the quote to RWE instead…
https://lawsoftheuniverse.weebly.com/law-of-cause-and-effect.html
And Google gave me this…
Ralph Waldo Emerson said “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”
Isaac Newton is quoted as saying “and to every action there is always an equal and opposite or contrary, reaction”1. Albert Einstein is also quoted as saying “with every action theres an equal opposite reaction”2. Einstein is also quoted as saying “For every action, there is a reaction”3. Ralph Waldo Emerson said “For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”4. Newton’s third law states that “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”5.
Whatever the case may be (LOL), I think we concur! 😀
Makes ya wonder if somebody or something is trying to rewrite history, no?
Makes me think you can’t believe everything you read on the internet…
Hits qualify as pressures…
Oh geez the pressure/sack conversation.🙄
Where’s FFR when ya need a good joke about as much?!! LOL
To each their own, but I’ll take the guy who puts the QB on the ground every time. You can have the guys who get close but can’t finish. No QB fears pressure. They fear getting hit. If you never actually hit them, the pressure doesn’t mean much. Avoiding getting sacked actually jacks up offensive players. It’s just like no team fearing play action if you can’t run the ball.
****
I hate bye weeks. Thank god it’s hockey season.
Yeah, good luck finding that guy. He doesn’t exist.
Both sacks and pressures are good things. Yes it is better to get a sack but getting pressure is a good way to measure the individual performance of the player. A sack has more impact on the game but pressures are primarily used to gauge individual performances and is a good method of doing so.
Talk about complicating things that are pretty simple, lol…
Hits are good, pressures are good, sacks are better, nothing is the worst.
You don’t have to calculate the angle of the shaft, or the ‘yaw’. You can leave girth and mass out of it. 🤣
If you watch football which we all do, you always hear they have pressured the QB all day. It’s not always for minus 5-7 yards with a sack, but incomplete passes, turnovers, punts and no points. It’s a silly discussion. It’s all related.
It IS a silly discussion that some of us keep starting because….well, it’s silly and it sucks others into a “serious” discussion about silliness.
Really cool article about our sideline support staff
https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/11/09/dolphins-nfl-sideline-support-staff-daily-cover
I just went and looked it up because I have never really understood what constitutes a pressure. Turns out it includes sacks, so we’re all good. Lol
***
Now let’s see if Phillips can start getting more sacks…um, I mean, pressures. 👍
Phillips is also really good against the run.
He’s missed a few games with injury.
What’s the problem?
We get to see most of the vision on the field coming out of the bye. Enjoy the moment.🙂
Phillips has played 4 games this year. He has 3.5 sacks
Happy Birthday to your Corps Marines
Thanks.

Tim,
I just want more from Phillips…or any of our edge rushers really. I have no problem with the rest of his game for the most part. But, let’s be real, sacks matter. If he can’t start getting up around the 10-15 range then he’s just another good player. That’s fine, but championship teams have difference makers on their roster.
***
I’m not sure how saying a guy with 2.5 sacks in his third season needs to step up, regardless of the rest of his game, is all that controversial or worthy of debate. He over pursues sometimes but other than that the rest of his play is solid. Again, it’s year 3. We need to see more….and putting QBs in the dirt is what we need more of. I don’t really care how many times he gets close.
***
He plays one of the glamour positions in the game right now. He’s expected to produce. That’s why edge rushing DEs get the big bucks. If he doesn’t start producing, we won’t be talking about him in a couple years anyway. It’s not about liking or disliking a player. It’s about what is going to get this team to a championship.
Phillips has played 4 full games this season and has 3.5 sacks
Tim – The merry go round continues to spin. It’s pretty funny to me. One sack in a a game with zero pressure the rest of the game is not good. One pressure all day with no sacks isn’t good. If you can consistently put pressure on the QB, that’s good, but if you never get there and actually sack the QB, the QB feels much more comfortable. You can’t just get close to the QB, you need to take him down. T.J. Watt is one of the best rushers in the league because he finishes. He gets to the QB. Ask every QB in the league who they’d rather face, Jaelan Phillips or T.J. Watt, and every single one will say Jaelan Phillips. Now once he learns to finish, that can change, but pressures by themselves don’t win games. You need pressures and sacks, and the more sacks you get, the more likely you’re winning that game.
Sorry for the double posts was having some issues logging in. Seems to be better now
Leaves a bad taste in my mouth but I hope the Pats beat the Colts this weekend. They currently hold the #4 overall pick in the draft.
1st Round as it stands right now
1 Chicago from CAR
2 Arizona
3 NY Giants
4 New England
5 Chicago
Don’t want to see them get one of the top QB’s, Caleb Williams or Drake Maye.
I still think they go QB and could see them taking J.J. McCarthy who I think could end up being better than the first two I mentioned. Bo Nix could be another possibility.
This is a deep QB class next draft. Could be 5-6 QB’s taken in the first round. I think 1st round QB’s will be:
Caleb Williams, USC
Drake Maye, UNC
Bo Nix, Oregon
J.J. McCarthy, Michigan
Jaden Daniels, LSU
Jordan Travis, FSU
Then you still have:
Michael Penix, Jr, Washington
Quinn Ewers, Texas
Riley Leonard, Duke
Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
Michael Pratt, Tulane
Joe Milton, Tennessee
BTW, after our last loss we went from pick 30 to 27. I still want to pick at #32.
I don’t think Ewers is eligible. Even if he is I don’t see him coming out this year
WTF was this thing that popped up asking me to subscribe to something to keep me posted on updates? Couldn’t get it to go away until I hit subscribe????
I had the same popup. I just closed the whole tab and it is gone.
Oh, nvmd. It keeps showing up every time I post a comment.
I absolutely refuse to hit subscribe
BYE Blues Blues
^
Sad and a little scary to think about the status of the world right now. Tomorrow, if we woke up and found the world fell into war and conflict, how many would actually be surprised?
What does Bye Blues Blues mean?
More confounded when it got acknowledged 🤷♂️
Just BYE week blues I’m thinking . . .
Oh gotcha
Said only as a Pig could say it, I get it now
That subscribe nonsense is more annoying than pressures. Just saying . . .
I don’t understand why they can’t just leave us logged in why is that so hard
No idea. Something new. Hopefully it goes away
They keep fucking with us.
Listen Word Press we’re old and antiquated we need simple and you’re making it difficult. Stop it.
I’m not seeing this subscribe thing. Probably soon. But the rest of this new stuff from a couple of months ago is still going on and is annoying.
3.5 sacks in 4 games is very good. That’s a 14-15 sack season for 17 games.
He played in 6 games, can we stop with this silliness?
I’m going by Ken. 🤪
2 of the games he played limited snaps because of injury. He has essentially played 4 games
Ken – you’re a Phillips apologist. He doesn’t need one. He just needs to get to the fucking QB
He does
How many QBs like this song?
How many QBs like the ‘King of
SaxSacks’?How many QBs like this song?
Does anybody sense a musical theme? LOL
The bye came at the right time for us.
Jinx, you and Cav Kong owe me a beer!
I don’t understand how some in general seem stuck on pressures/sacks when it comes to our Defense… it cuts both ways, as it applies to our O-Line and the impact it has on Tua and the rest of our Offense.
For instance, if a pass-rusher continues coming loose to get after Tua, Tua’s going to recognize and/or be distracted by as much (as will Coach and our OC). Thus, that pass-rusher is being kept in mind… even if Tua has yet to be hit. Bad problem for a QB to have, so as to ‘hear footsteps’.
Until adjustments are made (a chipping RB or lining a TE up to said pass-rusher’s side), the QB is going to be looking over his shoulder.
Pressure is the objective, sacks are trophies.
Ya know… I think that may be the best explanation I’ve heard to date. Well stated! 🙂
… at least as it pertains to the Defense.
On the Offensive side of the ball, pressures are to be avoided, hits and sacks are demerits.
Pressure throws everything off for an offense. That’s why pass rushers are highly touted.
Winning is the objective. If I have a choice between 5 sacks or 5 pressures, I’ll take the 5 sacks for the win Alex
Of course unless two of the pressures result in turnovers that results in points and wins.😉
^
As I stated a couple of weeks ago, sacks are pressures. Which reminds me: Randy owes me a beer, too!

————-
Absolutely correct… and why pass-rushers are also highly PAID.
I know… we’re saying the same thing in essence. 🙂
If a team’s QB play results in 550-600+ pass plays and allows say 25-30 sacks, but was pressured 250 times, don’t you think that was impactful on a lot of plays?
Without a doubt.
Perhaps we can put the whole ‘debate'(?) to rest with this…
Pressures are indicative of a positive play on Defense (that includes sacks)
Pressures are indicative of a negative play on Offense (that includes sacks)

Brian,
BIG GAME tomorrow, my PSU Brother! Looks like Harbaugh will be on the sidelines tomorrow after the filed injunction??? Regardless, let’s funk them up!!!
WE ARE!!!
Our secondary has a chance to be badass in the 2nd half.🙂
The whole defense does! It’s exciting in a way if they stay healthy from here on out.
I was just going to say some good college games tomorrow.
Michigan at PSU
Alabama at Kentucky
UM at FSU
Utah at Washington
Rutgers at Iowa
Tennessee at Missouri
WV at Oklahoma
Ole Miss at UGA
UF at LSU
Duke at UNC
USC at Oregon
Y’all still trying to convince yourselves pressures are the same as sacks? They’re not, you’re wrong.
Literally no one is saying that. It is just one statistic used to measure the effectiveness of a player. Nothing more or less
Yes M13! Unfortunately, Penn St. is the college football version of the Miami Dolphins- can’t win the big games.
Wishing all of you who have served a great Veteran’s Day. Thank you very much for your service to America and her people.
Franklin is one of dumbest coaches I’ve ever seen. This is the second game I’ve watched this year and he just makes dumbass decisions constantly…lol. Oh my.
^
PSU just lost the game with that decision to go for it on 4th down. SMH
Another dumbass decision…wtf?!
To go for 2…
PSU had to go for 2 at some point in order to tie the game, whether it be then or later. I guess Franklin figured Allar was hot at the moment.
Regardless, sloppy football by PSU.
Yeah, but get 1 first, then you know that….end of first half too was stupid…get one. Otherwise you’re always chasing points….dumb
Agreed.
This is pretty cool!
Very cool!
Wow
Nice!
In 5000 years archeologists will excavate it and try to figure out what it meant to the indigenous people of Anthem, AZ.
Right?!! It reminds me of the scene in “Raiders of the Lost Ark” where Indy places the rod with the jewel at the right place at the right time to reveal a location.
For me it’s about the effect of the pressure. If it causes a bad play by the offense, then it’s effective. If the offense is making plays even when they’re getting pressured, then it’s not effective. Just saying “pressure” doesn’t mean the defense is actually impacting the offense, so ya can’t just throw that out there and say a defense was getting pressure all day long so they must’ve been affecting the offense. Maybe the offense did just fine despite all the pressure. We see that all the time too.
***
Like MikeE said, it’s totally subjective…and therefore I don’t think it’s a good way to judge a defense or a player. You need to evaluate the type of pressure you’re getting too.
Right on Randy!
A lot of the time it also depends on who the QB is you are pressuring. Some, it doesn’t bother them much at all. Others fall into the Mac Jones category.
What in the UCF is going on today??? Whooping up on #15 Oklahoma State 38-3 through 3 quarters.
John Rhys Plumlee is another QB who will get drafted. Not very high but a late rounder. His #’s isn’t that good as he makes poor decisions with the ball at times.
He is an athletic QB with speed. Ran a 4.42 at a UGA QB camp but ran a 4.3 at one point in HS.
At 6’0 200, I see him as a Tysom Hill type with speed or just convert to WR.
If UCF RB RJ Harvey doesn’t get drafted, he would be one of the first UDFA’s I would try to sign.
Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart is another QB who could enter the draft and be taken rather high.
Missouri QB Brady Cook could be another one if he declairs.
Hate that WR Ladd McConkey is having another big game and improving his draft stock.
Go UCF!
It’s game day bit…. Oh wait a minute
haha
Actually,
I hope our coaches and players watch the Raiders game to figure out how to keep Crosby from taking over the game.
Huge question
Do you want to root for the patsies (gag, retch) to beat the Colts?
I say no.
I don’t think the Colts are a threat to us insofar as playoff seeding,
and while I hate the Colts, I hate bellicheat even more.
I’d much rather see the Pets lose. I agree the Colts aren’t a threat, and I’m enjoying seeing Belicheat struggle to get these last wins to surpass Shula. If he has a couple of 3 or 4 win seasons in a row, who knows? Maybe he doesn’t get the record.
There are several games like that this weekend.
I want the Packers to beat the Steelers … really a lot,
because I don’t like Tomlin very much.
Yet the Steelers are a team I think we can beat if we meet in the playoffs.
And I definitely want the Lions to beat the Chargers.
But we hold the TB over the Bolts if it comes to that.
(btw … Wouldn’t it be cool if we got to play the Lions n the SB?)
It would be cool to play anyone in the SB! 😂
We need the Browns to beat the Ravens to increase our chances of getting more home games in the playoffs.
Right?
Which brings us to the Texans-Bengals game.
hmmm
I fear playing Burrow for all the stupid Burrow-Tua trash that will dominate the media hype.
They will have it be another prove it game for Burrow with extra incentive to beat us like what happened against Hurts.
Plus Burrow is very talented and has PO experience.
But that new QB for Houston is hot. Still a rook though, so I think our experienced guys on the D will be able to handle him better than some of the schmoes he’s beaten lately.
So I’m going for Houston to beat Cincy.
This leaves the 2 chances for our rivals to win the AFCE to lose while we rest up.
It would be awesome on several levels for the Broncs to beat the bills, and they do have a chance.
And the Raiders have a good chance to beat the jest for us, so they can’t creep up on us from below.
BBM – that’s so true. Some QB’s can be pressured all day and make plays all day. Those are the guys you need to sack
Pressures don’t work on Lamar Jackson unless he is playing injured or you contain him really well.
The most consistent way to stop Jackson is to get him into a playoff game.
It’s bye week bitches!
This sucks!
Naples, I agree with your above comments. I had mentioned I wanted the Pats to win so they don’t get such a high draft pick but screw that. I love seeing BB lose. It’s entertaining.
They will get one of the top 4 QB’s even if they are picking in the top 15 so screw it. Go Colts! lol
Holy Shit. I haven’t posted anything in over a month.
WHAT’S UP FINCH FUCKERS ?
Wolffff!
Andrew Brandt
@AndrewBrandt
Jimbo Fisher to be fired at Texas A&M, per multiple reports.
Has made $45 million there.
Will receive a $77 million buyout, with no offset against future coaching earnings.
Man, I DEFINITELY chose the wrong profession…
Same, damn!
Minshew really sucks
Everyone gear up to watch your least favorite team lose today
Gonna be an exciting day of looking at other teams and thinking “they suck”
In terms of negative energy – the BYE week is my Graceland
LOL, I love watching the Pets be completely inept
To Piggy’s point, both of these teams are pretty inept
I wonder if the Germans are like, “I paid to see this?” lol
I don’t understand why they sing Country Roads at these games in Germany? I saw it last year, and just did it again. Not sure about our game last week. I had given up and stopped watching. 😂
They sang it during our game too. Fans seem to love it. I didn’t get it, but it looked like just about everyone was enjoying it
Mac Jones 😂
Wow! Brian Flores the HC now? 🤣
🤣
Well, that fake spike fell a bit short of Marino’s fake spike play.
