Dolphins roster set for Week 1

The roster is relatively set, although there always a few spots on the roster that will remain fluid. There were surprises, to me, none more than the fact that the Dolphins are carrying only 5 defensive linemen. Yes, I’m well aware DE/LB Ogbah can included in that group as well, and probably should be, he’s listed as an OLB for now. Still, the defense that was supposed to be heavy on the rotation, Weaver said it himself, the “tsunami” or second wave is no more than splash in a kiddie pool with DL Brandon Pili and Da’Shawn Hand. Forgive me if they don’t get me all me pumped up about our defense.

The state of the WR room is the 2nd biggest surprise. We can basically only field 5 healthy guys, and those are the ones on the roster. For the many of you who guessed WR Grant DuBose was going to make the roster, a hearty congratulations to you! So Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Braxton Berrios, Malik Washington and Grant DuBose are the wideouts. We’re carrying 4 TE’s, and don’t be surprised if the TE’s get a whole lotta action not only early, but maybe all season long. Jonnu Smith, Durham Smythe, Julian Hill and Tanner Conner. I hope they do get loads of catches and take the heat off of Tyreel Hill and Jaylen Waddle.

In addition to the TE’s, expect the RB’s to be very involved in the passing gamed. We know De’Von Achane is an excellent receiver but I think he will have a lot of receptions this season. Rookie Jaylen Wright is also a dependable receiver, but I think Achane will be lined in the slot and outside as well on occasion, and not just be a target out of the backfield. No need to force the ball to Hill and Waddle when there are so many dangerous guys on the field when they get the ball.

Not surprising is the offensive line. If you’re a knowledgeable fan, you hoped it wouldn’t come to this, but you’re not shocked it did. LT Armstead, LG Robert Jones, C Aaron Brewer, RG Liam Eichenberg and RT Austin Jackson. Isaiah Wynn nowhere to be found, and who knows if ever suits up in 2024. No word as to whether C Aaron Brewer is healthy enough or even ready since he hasn’t practiced a lick after injuring his hand weeks ago. Eichenberg would start at C and then Cotton would slide in at RG. Again, not what we wanted to see but not shocking to any of us. Grier didn’t do his best work in the trenches. Lots of nice shiny position players, but the trenches seem like an afterthought. That doesn’t mean it can’t work out, but Tua will have to remain quick with his reads and anticipation and get the ball out quickly, or perhaps his new playing weight will allow him to be the next Fran Tarkenton.

I’m pleased with the secondary, although injuries there have me a bit worried too. Jevon Holland and Jordan Poyer both are dealing with injuries. As far as I know, the backups, Marcus Maye and Elijah Campbell are healthy. Both starting CB’s are healthy, and that’s a huge upgrade from last year when Jalen Ramsey was OUT, a very gimpy Xavien Howard was IN, and Eli Apple was on the opposite side of gimpy Howard. Ugh! Kader Kohou will be the nickel, and I’m pleased that some new blood, CB’s Storm Duck, and UDFA made the roster, and deservedly so. Ethan Bonner also made the roster, and Cam Smith, unfortunately is on the IR/designated to return list.

At linebacker, it will be interesting to see how much they mix up the reps with a healthy Jaelan Phillips, Emmanuel Ogbah, Quinton Bell, and rookies Chop Robinson and Mo Kamara. I have no idea how they split reps there, and although we hear only the best things about Phillips being ready, I think they ease him in. In fact, there might be a heavier rotation at LB than there is on the defensive line. We’ll see. We’ll see how well Jordyn Brooks and David Long stuff the middle, and if our pass rush is up to snuff. Another who knows is if we ever see Bradley Chubb in uniform and on the field playing this season. I have my doubts. Hopefully it’s because the guys are plying so well!

The Captain of The Defense: David Long Jr.

    Posted by Austin Dobbins | Sep 2, 2024 |

David Long Jr. has quickly become essential to the Miami Dolphins’ defense. This season, he could have an even bigger role, being named one of the captains for 2024. Under Anthony Weaver‘s new and improved defense, expect Long to shine. Middle linebacker is an essential position for any great defense. Roquan Smith, Fred Warner, and Hall of Famers like Ray Lewis were pivotal to all-time NFL defenses.xLong on being named team captain, “Special, especially knowing it’s player voted… it means a lot to sit with the guys, and train with these guys and know they see the effort I put in.

”Mike McDaniel on David Long Jr. being named captain: “I truly know how much this game means to David Long… none of his teammates were surprised by it but happy that he was bestowed that honor.”

His 113 tackles from last season demonstrate his ability to make plays consistently; Long also produced one sack and a forced fumble. As the middle linebacker, Long’s responsibilities go beyond just his on-field stats. His ability to communicate effectively with his teammates and ensure everyone is aligned on the defensive scheme is vital to the unit’s success.

  5. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

    1. Leadership and Communication: As a newly appointed team captain, Long has already earned the respect of his teammates and coaches. His role as the defense’s “quarterback” requires him to make quick decisions and adjustments on the fly, which he has shown he can do effectively. His leadership will be crucial in keeping the defense organized and motivated, especially during high-pressure situations.

  6. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

    2. Instincts and Football IQ: Long has a high football IQ, allowing him to read plays before they develop. His instincts are sharp, helping him to anticipate the opposing team’s moves and position himself accordingly. This ability to diagnose plays quickly will be a key factor in shutting down opposing offenses.

    3. Versatility: Long is not just a tackling machine; his versatility allows him to contribute in multiple ways. Whether dropping back into coverage, blitzing the quarterback, or stuffing the run, Long’s skill set makes him a threat in various defensive scenarios. This versatility will enable the Dolphins to deploy him in different roles, keeping offenses guessing.

    4. Work Ethic and Determination: Entering his contract year, Long is motivated to prove his worth. Coaches have praised his work ethic on and off the field, and he’s shown a relentless drive to improve. This determination will push him to elevate his game even further, which will be pivotal for the Dolphins as they aim to make a deep playoff run.

  7. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

David Long Jr.’s combination of leadership, instincts, versatility, and work ethic positions him as a cornerstone of the Miami Dolphins’ defense. His success will be instrumental in the team’s overall defensive performance, making him a critical player to watch this season.

He was a beast last year, if I remember correctly….lol. Always around the ball, in on the play.

Five Things I Think I Think About the 2024 Miami Dolphins“Can’t wait!” — Bart Scott, philosopherBy EgregiousPhilbin Sep 2, 2024, 5:51pm EDT

I’ve finally emerged from my self imposed exile in The Red Waste of Essos.

I was gone for so long that I missed my offseason article and my recap article of last season’s predictions.

Just gonna take a little peek here and…welp, let’s just say they brought down my average as much as math allows.

A lot has changed in the meantime, but many of the critical pieces have stayed the same:

    We have a Reek.

    We have a Ramsey.

We have a Mother of Dragons?

    Close enough.

Here’s what I see for the 2024 Miami Dolphins when I tap into my Greenseer powers.

The Dolphins’ defense will improve in at least two major categories

Vic Fangio had me excited when he came in as Miami’s defensive coordinator. The results kept me excited. The Fins were ranked 10th in Total Defense in 2023. That’s solid.

But, as with all seemingly grouchy guys who’d rather be in Philly and coach with a style that doesn’t appear to mesh well with players, Fangio bounced immediately, leaving the coaching staff with a void to fill.

Enter Anthony Weaver, fresh off the staff in Baltimore. Weaver, I dare say, has me more excited than Fangio. While he may not have the historical pedigree, he has a philosophy that, at least on the surface, aligns with Mike McDaniel’s and, therefore, the players’.

Miami’s defensive ranks for 2023 were as follows:

    Total Defense – 10th

    Passing Yards Allowed – 15th

    Rushing Yards Allowed – 7th

    Scoring Defense – 22nd

    Red Zone Defense – 28th

    3rd Down Defense – 20th

I see them increasing their ranks in Red Zone defense (hard not to), 3rd down defense, and, in an unrivaled display of confidence (haha; just wait til later) passing yards allowed.

They shall rebuff the advancing troops as surely as the great Wall.

    Or something like that.

  9. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

    More Koolaid….lol….

Miami will make the playoffs for a third time under Mike McDaniel

Look, I don’t even think this is that risky of a prediction. And that’s coming from a lifelong Dolphins fan.

But the team has made it two seasons in a row and it feels like they’re in a position to make some noise.

Why not a bolder, perhaps sillier prediction like “Miami will beat the Bears in the Superb Owl by 49 points and return glory to the Lands of Florida!”?

    Injuries, mostly.

I know by now that it only takes a few unlucky bounces to tumble from the top tier inTua terrible tragedy.

    Depth is key.

Hopefully the Dolphins are as deep as The Narrow Sea.

  10. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

The Fins will repeat as the league’s top offense

    Now we’re talkin’.

Miami went nuts in 2023, offensively. They averaged over 29 points and 400 yards per game. They put up 70 points on the Broncos. They were the most explosive looking team in my memory.

Statistics say that won’t sustain. But statistics are just numbers and numbers are boring and lame.

I see the Dolphins’ offense going berserk again weekly. Tua and his big ol’ contract will be hucking fat satchels of corn (I think that’s the expression) to Tyreek Hill and his big ol’ contract while Terron Armstead and his big ol’ contract stand in the way of the oncoming pass rush.

Feels like for all the big ol’ contracts, the offense has a financial obligation to remain the kings of trial by combat.

  11. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

Tyreek Hill will break 2,000 yards receiving

    I said what I said.

And that’s not even my Big Bold Prediction.

Big Bold Prediction: Chop Robinson will have more sacks than Bradley Chubb.“

Now wait a minute. Is this just some homer Penn State prediction?” — You, famed jerk

    Yes.

However, I think there are two ways this can come to pass:

The first would be magnificently disappointing. In this scenario, Bradley Chubb’s injury lasts much further into the season than anticipated, his return is so late and gradual as to be a non-factor, and he ends the year wih 0 sacks while Chop Robinson takes the bulk of the season to get up to NFL speed, struggling mightily along the way, but manages to nab a single half sack, making the final tally Chop – .5, Chubb – 0.

    That would ruin us all.

The second is what I think could be kind of feasible. If the praise Robinson is getting so far is warranted, he could have a rookie season akin to Jaelan Phillips, notching something like 8.5 sacks while Chubb, coming off a major injury, only has a slight downturn from his 2023 production (of 11 sacks) to the tune of 8.0. Chop – 8.5, Chubb 8.0 would be a situation I’d sign up for pretty quickly.

If all goes well, Chop and Chubb could be crashing into the backfield causing chaos like the Cleganes.

Night gathers and now our watch begins.

    ————

To be honest….these predictions are the only way I see us getting to and winning a playoff.

So I’ve been paying attention to his game, and I think also, it didn’t hurt that I have a strong relationship that’s very communicative with their head coach Matt LaFleur, so I kind of knew what Grant (DuBose) was like day-in, day-out. For what we’re trying to do and the roles that we have on our team, I thought he was a very good fit for his skill sets and what we’re looking for to add to our wide receiver room. The connectivity of what he has done, it was very clear and what he could offer us in terms of adding to the group, it was a really good fit. I’m very, very happy we got that claim.””

Starting to see a trend, that other coaching staffs of ours seemed to have ignored, they’re actually taking young players they see something in and developing them

Randy Shannon comes to mind, but he didn’t materialize

Maybe Flores did with Needham, but few and far between

Hill, Bonner, Kion Smith and maybe even Lester Cotton

  17. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

    This is such bullshit

It has been pointed out, and rightfully so, that any team that has to rely on the emergency third quarterback to win games is in a bad situation, regardless of who is behind center, and that is the case with Boyle.

The use here of in a bad situation refers to your season being mostly lost and out of contention

So what if your team is 11-4 and in 1st place by 2 games, top 2 QBs are out for last 2 games and you need to win 1 game to win the division

Brooks, 24, was one of three players waived/injured by the Dolphins last week as part of final cuts, along with offensive lineman Ryan Hayes and wide receiver Braylon Sanders. While all three reverted to Miami’s IR after going unclaimed on the waiver wire, the injury settlement officially removes Brooks from the roster altogether.

While the Dolphins could eventually bring back Brooks, NFL rules state they’ll have to wait several weeks to do so. In the meantime, Brooks is allowed to sign anywhere else.

    1 p.m. ET (CBS)

This game is being played in Miami, which I’m only mentioning, because no one has embraced the South Beach lifestyle more than Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel.

The guy on the left can’t beat good teams and can’t win big playoff games, but the guy on the right is going to lead the Dolphins straight to the Super Bowl. You can’t pick against the guy on the right, which is good news for me, because I don’t plan on picking against Mike McDaniel anytime soon, because he is essentially unbeatable during the first few weeks of the season.

Since McDaniel took over as Miami’s coach in 2022, the Dolphins have gone 6-0 during the first three weeks of the season and they’ve outscored their opponents by an average of 13 points per game in those wins.

The Dolphins have a speedy offense that’s tough to prepare for if you don’t see it often, and the Jaguars definitely don’t see it often.

So we have a speedy Dolphins offense that will be going up against a Jaguars offense that might get called for 57 delay-of-game penalties because no one seems to know who will be calling the offensive plays yet.

The game is just days away, Doug! You need to decide.

Both quarterbacks in this game (Tua Tagovailoa and Trevor Lawrence) got big contract extensions this offseason, which means the loser of this game is going to instantly be getting ripped for not living up to his contract.

I already said I won’t be picking against McDaniel, which means I’m taking the Dolphins. And look, I don’t want to pour it on here, but Kevin Harlan, Trent Green and Melanie Collins will be calling this game for CBS and McDaniel has never lost with that trio working the game. Since the start of the 2022 season, the Dolphins are 7-0 and have averaged 38.0 points per game with Kevin, Trent and Melanie around.

Stephen Ross might want to think about hiring those three as Miami’s permanent announcing team.

The pick: Dolphins 34-24 over Jaguars

Barry Jackson Bringer of hope? LOL

What history shows happens to teams who lose two wild card games in a row, like Miami

    Barry Jackson

When the Dolphins begin their season at home Sunday against Jacksonville (1 p.m., CBS), here’s an historical nugget that should give them hope:

Two teams this century have won a Super Bowl immediately after doing precisely what the Dolphins have done — lose wild card playoff games to end their previous two seasons.

One was the New York Giants. After missing the playoffs the previous two seasons, the Giants lost wild card games to Carolina and Philadelphia in 2005 and 2006 and then beat the undefeated Patriots 17-14 in the Super Bowl to cap the 2007 season.

The other team to do it was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who lost wild card games convincingly to the Eagles in 2000 (by a 21-3 score) and 2001 (31-9) before beating the Raiders in the 2002 Super Bowl. But that team had lost in the NFC Championship in 1999.

That’s the good news, from an historical perspective, about the Dolphins’ current predicament.

And here’s more good news: The Seattle Seahawks lost wild card games in 2003 and 2004, then made the 2005 Super Bowl but lost to Pittsburgh.

    So that’s encouraging.

But… in the limited history of teams that lose two wild card or first-round playoff games in a row, the success of the Giants and Buccaneers and Seahawks are the outliers.

Of the 31 existing NFL franchises besides the Dolphins, only 13 have lost wild card games in two consecutive years, as the Dolphins have done.

And for most of them, the aftermath wasn’t good.

Here’s how it worked out for the 10 franchises other than the Giants, Buccaneers and Seahawks:

    ▪ Buffalo: They lost wild card games in 1998 and 1999 and then missed the playoffs the next 17 years.

    ▪ Denver: They lost to the Colts in wild card games in 2003 and 2004, then lost in the AFC title game to Pittsburgh in 2005, and then missed the playoffs five years in a row.

    ▪ Pittsburgh: The most recent example. They lost a 2020 wild card game to Cleveland and a 2021 wild card game to the Chiefs, then went 9-8 without a playoff berth in 2022 before returning to the playoffs this past season and losing in the first round at Buffalo.

    ▪ Cincinnati: The Bengals are the only team in history to lose five consecutive wild card games (2011-2015). Then they missed the playoffs five years in a row.

    ▪ Houston Oilers (now the Tennessee Titans): After losing wild card games in 1989 and 1990, they won a wild card game but lost a divisional playoff game in 1991, lost a wild card game again in 1992, then lost in the divisional round in 1993, then went five years without a playoff berth.

    ▪ Dallas: The Cowboys lost wild card games in 1998 and 1999, then went 5-11 each of the three following seasons.

    ▪ Philadelphia: The Eagles lost wild card games in 2009 and 2010, then went 8-8 and 4-12 the next two seasons, missing the playoffs five of the six seasons after 2010 and losing their only playoff game in that six-year stretch.

    ▪ Detroit: The Lions lost wild card games in 1993, 1994 and 1995, then went 5-11, then lost a wild card game in 1997, then went 5-11 again, and then lost another wild card game in 1999.

    ▪ Minnesota: The Vikings lost wild card games in 1992, 1993 and 1994, then went 8-8 and missed the playoffs, then made the playoffs five years in a row but without a Super Bowl appearance.

    ▪ New Orleans: The Saints lost wild card games in 1990, 1991, and 1992, then missed the playoffs seven years in a row.

So here’s the bottom line: Of 13 franchises that have done what the Dolphins have done — two first-weekend playoff exits in a row — three made the Super Bowl and two won it immediately after.

Ten regressed or accomplished nothing of significance.

Miami must hope it bucks the odds.

From David Santiago at the Herald:

    ▪ How do the Dolphins compensate for having just three experienced, healthy receivers on their 53-man roster to begin the season?

In part, by turning to their tight ends.

And in part, by turning to their explosive second-year running back.

De’Von Achane — who led all running backs in average yards per carry (7.8) as a rookie tailback — confirmed last week that he has been working some at wide receiver in recent weeks. And he said he’s completely comfortable doing it.

“I’ve been playing this my whole life,” he said. “If it was the first time I was doing it, I would be a little hesitant. But it’s something I’ve been doing. [At Texas A&M], it was quite a bit. I lined up a lot [at receiver] when I was in high school.”

Last season, Achane ran 48.3 percent of his routes from the slot or out wide (as opposed to from the backfield). That was easily the highest percentage for any NFL running back, per Scott Barrett. Teammate Raheem Mostert was second at 39.3 percent, and the 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey was third at 35.1 percent.

In preseason, Achane ran 36.4 percent of his routes from the slot or out wide, per Pro Football Focus.

And though none of Achane’s touches as a receiver went longer than 23 yards last season, his receiving numbers were pretty good: 27 receptions for 197 yards (a 7.3 average) and three touchdowns. He did not drop any of the 37 passes thrown to him. Of the 27 completions, 10 went for first downs; the goal would be a higher percentage than that.

Achane said playing receiver can exploit holes in opposing defenses: “Most definitely. When me and Raheem [Mostert] are on the field at the same time, that’s good for this offense. Defenses can’t just focus on one person. Coach knows what he’s doing. He’s got a lot of good pieces and knows how to use them.”

    ▪ As a rookie, Achane ran for 800 yards on just 103 carries in 11 games and four starts.

    The goal this season?

“Most definitely have to have 1,000 yards [rushing] this season because I was short of that last year because I missed a lot of games,” he said. “And try to get my first Pro Bowl.”

Before Achane averaged 7.8 yards per carry last season, the last time a running back averaged more yards per attempt (with a minimum of 100 attempts) was Bears rookie Beattie Feathers, who averaged 8.4 yards per carry on 119 rushes in 1934.

  31. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

I’ve seen a couple of times now Mostert and Achane talking about packages with both of them on the field together. We saw it some last year, but I think it’s exciting to think about the different ways MM can deploy and switch up formations with the same personnel. The ‘scary’ part is that all the pieces have to move in time with another and the potential to throw a wrench in our works if they can throw off the timing in any way.

    Hamstring for Ramsey….yikes….

Jalen Ramsey ‘doing everything he can’ to rehab hamstring

Adam Stites September 4, 2024 7:27 pm ET

  80. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey is dealing with a hamstring injury, the team’s first practice report of the 2024 season revealed Wednesday.Ramsey, 29, has been dealing with an injury that was previously undisclosed since mid-August and didn’t play at all in preseason. His absence Wednesday raises serious doubts about his readiness to play in the Dolphins’ regular season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but head coach Mike McDaniel had nothing but positive things to say about the situation.

“I’ve never been prouder of a player not practicing, like honestly. No puffery,” McDaniel told reporters. “He’s just making me proud because he knows how important he is to this team and what he’s looking to accomplish with the team as a captain. … I know he’s doing everything he can today and there weren’t any setbacks today.”

  81. Krishna's avatar Krishna says:

Prior to his August setback, Ramsey was feeling exceedingly optimistic about his health heading into the 2024 season.

“This is my first offseason in, I think three years now, that I’ve been healthy,” Ramsey said in a vlog posted in April. “So y’all are going to see, really, what I envision an offseason looking like for me.

What I envision an offseason looking like for me to be at the tip-top performance of where I want to be.”

  84. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

We will see this season, but I really hope that MM has been cooking up schemes that will defeat the defensive schemes that shut down his offense toward the end of the year when teams figured out how to bottle the offense up. (besides hip drop tackling our WR’s) Hill and Waddle were banged up with leg issues so that was part of it, but teams were able to take away our routes too.

    One more note to MM who I know doesn’t read us;

RUN THE BALL! Then run it some more!

  85. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I took Jonnu Smith in the 2nd to last round of my FF draft. I wanted to take him so bad, but I held myself in check thinking (hoping!) no one else had any interest. I think he’s going to have a better season than he did last year, I don’t think 70 catches for 800 + yards and 6-8 TD’s is out of the question.

    Thoughts?

    • bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I would say close but with all the weapons we have, I am going to take the under and that will be at no fault to Jannu.

      • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

After I read 70, that’s an awful lot. 60 might be in play, maybe 600-700 yards. Teams are going to focus on Hill and Waddle though and the way to beat that is to either hit Jonnu or the backs

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

if he gets 70 catches for 800+ yards and 6-8 tds it means Tua has turned the page

don’t know why Tua is so afraid to throw to other receivers, too many times last year he had guys open and wouldn’t pull the trigger, instead throwing to double Hill/Waddle

Did Marino throw to secondary receivers? Of course he did

  86. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

  87. Randy's avatar Randy says:

When you’re throwing the ball in 2 seconds, you don’t have time to read the field and go to secondary receivers. Tua doesn’t have the time to go through a progression, and he rarely scrambles well enough to give himself more time. He’s a pocket passer. Dropping 10 pounds won’t change that. Maybe he scrambles a little bit more, but he’s still a pocket passer.

Teams are going to beat the shit out of our tiny receivers every game. I won’t be surprised if Hill and Waddle both miss games this year. They both started to fade late in the season last year. Waddle only had 4 TDs last year…3 of which were in the first 7 weeks. The hype on him has been hard to figure out. The highest he ranked in any major category was 26th in yards. 26th! He needs to start earning his big ass contract.

  88. Randy's avatar Randy says:

I’d put Jonny Smith on a year of about 40-50 receptions, 500ish yards and around 5 TDs.

  89. Randy's avatar Randy says:

What I’d like to see from Smith is a chain mover and target in the end zone. Be a target we can use to get those short yardage 3rd downs if we aren’t going to run for them. I don’t need big numbers. Move the chains.

  90. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    MikeE,

Yep, he did, but I don’t think he’ll get the same targets. I just don’t care what his numbers are if he can help this offense move the chains, stay on the field and be a legitimate end zone target. We have plenty of options. Smith doesn’t need to produce big numbers to be effective. If he can be enough of a legitimate target to draw coverage from Hill and Waddle, I’d be happy. I stopped doing fantasy football years ago! I don’t really care about numbers.

His 50 receptions were also on the most targets he’s ever had…70. I’m not disputing he can put up numbers. I just don’t think he needs to do that to be impactful. He needs to make those 3-5 yard receptions to move the chains and be there in the end zone. This team already has big play guys in hill, waddle and, I think, Achane if they use him. We don’t need another. We need someone doing the grunt work.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

watching him in traing camp practice and in PS I see someone that is going to get a lot of targets

he’s the electric football piece, that moves at a different speed, than those around him

he may get doubled on 3rd downs, but that means either Hill or Waddle won’t be

  91. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    Steve,

Are you autistic? You can rebut my comments if you like. You don’t have to slap yourself in the face….i mean…feel free to do so if you need to self-stimulate. It’s almost still a free Country!

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

      🤷‍♂️

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

When Tua throws it in 2 seconds, that generally means the play call worked, he’s got someone open, and his QB rating is probably close to perfect

The rest of the game, especially on 3rd down, he goes thru his progressions

There’s plenty of tape out there of guys running wide open and Tya throwing into coverage instead

I don’t agree he can’t move in the pocket, even 2 left feet Marino could move in the pocket, Brady too, and he showed it in PS

  92. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

“I love where Channing Tindall is at right now….we have 4 really good inside linebackers who are veterans and have played at a high level.
