The 2025 Miami Dolphins have 10 draft picks for this upcoming NFL Draft. Most of the scouting has already been done, but fans, and scouts also pay attention to the Scouting Combine, also known as the “Underwear Olympics”. The 40 yard dash is the most popular skill position drill, but the reality is, in any given game, how often is a player running at full speed 40 yards down the field? It’s just one tool to use, and top speed, and how quickly you get there is an important metric for WR’s, CB’s, RB’s, and to a lesser degree, TE’s, S, LB’s and DE’s. Having said that, of utmost importance is the game tape that all these players have already put out during their college careers, however long or short they were. This is probably at least 90% of how you evaluate a player, with the combine results adding a bit more. It’s important for perspective that most of the game is played with contact, and players rarely get to run free without contact, so a WR who runs a 4.25 but can’t stay balanced once a defender engages him with a bump isn’t nearly as valuable as an athlete with elite body control and balance that can run through the contact.
As I’ve mentioned many times already, we’re in the market for an enormous amount of players, some through the draft, we currently own 10 picks overall. We’ll likely be trying to fill close to 30 roster spots, which really is a huge turnover of the roster. Free agency comes first, preceding the draft, and we need to hit on just about every move we make. It’s hard to believe that we need to find at least 3 starters in this draft, and beyond that, find some other players that can give us contribution this season as well. We have 2 offensive guard spots, starting OG spots that more than likely one will be filled in Free Agency. We’re not going to be able to afford an elite OG, as we witnessed just a year ago as our best OL OG Robert Hunt got a 5YR/$100M contract. Hunt may not be a top 5 OG in the NFL, but he was our best. Clearly, we should have tried harder to keep Robert Hunt the previous year and sign him to a more team friendly deal. In any case, we’re going to have to overpay someone else’s player now, but on a lower scale because we simply don’t have the money available.
We also need Defensive Tackles. The trenches are bare, the one year contract players are now gone, and we’re left with a scarce amount of players on both sides of the ball. To add, normally a player DT/DE Calais Campbell doesn’t fall into your lap, his return is still up in the air at the moment. If he does return, I wouldn’t think the huge discount he played at last season would still apply, considering the tremendously impactful season he had.At age 38, Campbell have us nearly 60% of the snaps on defense, and played at a very high level. His play will be very difficult to replace, and while Zach Sieler had another excellent season, he does need a little protection on the opposite side for him to be the sole defender the offense can constantly double or triple team. I would not be surprised if we draft a DT with our first pick.
We also have no players at safety, other than last year’s 6th RD pick (#198) S Patrick McMorris, who in no way projects as a starter, so we have a lot of work to do there. If it seems like I’m repeating myself with “A lot of work to do” I apologize, but Grier didn’t build a team, he just filled up a lot of spots, and now the toll bell is a ringing! We also need a starter opposite CB Jalen Ramsey, and we’ll need some depth too. As of right now, we have 2024 UDFA signee CB Storm Duck, 2023 2nd RD Pick ), 2023 2nd RD Pick (#51) CB Cam Smith, NB Kader Kohou, mostly a ST’s player in DB Ethan Bonner, and then guys recently signed to futures contracts Jason Maitre and Isaiah Johnson. CB is such an important position, valued right after QB, OT and pass rushers. We saw what happens when you bring in a less expensive vet CB like Kendall Fuller, it doesn’t always work. We might have to hope one of our young players flourish or we may have to hit on a draft pick.
When it comes to our first pick in the draft, which is at the moment #13, I most importantly want a great player that makes an impact on this team immediately and for a long future as well. It doesn’t have to be an OT/OG, a CB or a S. Heck, if TE Tyler Warren is there and he has the highest grade on the board, TAKE HIM! To be fair, he’ll probably be gone, but my point is not to pigeon hole yourself by position, just get a great player that can help us for a decade or so. What really kills me is we kind of had that with DT Christian Wilkins and OG Robert Hunt but we failed miserably to retain them, and once again I point out, it didn’t have to happen when they hit free agency, but before. Both players emerged as our best players on either side of the ball, and after so many draft misses, it sucks to let the ones you hit on walk out the door. It’s not that we didn’t get any compensation, but late 3rd RD compensatory picks aren’t going to fill those shoes, especially given GM Chris Grier’s draft history. Maybe we find another Robert Hunt, that would be wonderful, and hopefully it’s in RD 4 where Hunt was found. Maybe we find another Christian Wilkins too, that would be splendid.
Some early top performers at the combine were DE DE James Pearce (Tennessee) who at 6’5 245 ran a 4.47 40 and a quick 1.56 10 yard split. LB Jihaad Campbell was right behind him at 4.52 and a very quick 10 yard split of 1.53, as well as an impressive 10’7 broad jump. The 10 yard split gives you a very good metric for short area quickness and agility, something most of the game is actually played at, and the broad jump shows you a players explosiveness. Previously mentioned TE Tyler Warren (Penn State) will not be participating in any drills at the combine, and he doesn’t have to. He’s the consensus top pick at TE, a super high character player with fantastic physical ability and play strength. It’s not crazy to want a player like that, even if it’s not our top priority by position. Like I said though, getting the best player should be our priority.
As Free Agency comes first, I think it’s imperative to nail down a starting OG, a starting caliber CB, and starting caliber safety. As we know, cap space is limited, despite the increase of approximately $24M from last year’s cap. The Dolphins are + 9.4M, not a good place to be. There are ways to clear more space with the dreaded “R” word, restructure. There are definitely a few contracts I don’t want them touching, and those are DE Bradley Chubb, QB Tua Tagovailoa, and WR Tyreek Hill. They best not gain money to make any of those contracts any worse than they already are in the future. That alone should have them immediately fired if not shot by a firing squad! Don’t effing do it! You made these contracts, (read MISTAKES), eat them, don’t compound the problem and make them worse. Be responsible now, and for the future of this team, I beg you! Let’s just hope they heed my advice, or I’ll be saying this same nonsense for the next 3 years or more, and I’m sure as hell positive you’re tired of hearing it.
GO DOLPHINS!!!

It’s funny, when I first started thinking about what we need to do in this draft, I really struggled with the thought that we would spend #13 on an OG. Now, I feel like if we take a S, it will be a huge mistake. Unless you’re getting a game changing player at S, like an Ed Reed or someone like him, you almost have to take the OL. Not sure if Membou is there, or Banks or even Campbell, I think that’s the better play here. We also ned to get a quality OG in Free Agency. Wouldn’t rule out Scherff who at least has started every game the last 4 years so you can count on him. Daniels is a little more risky coming off a torn achilles. Patrick Mekari from the Ravens also started every game last season and has played a lot of football and is younger, but will cost more. I just think this team absolutely need to get the OL fixed and have a better than average line. I think the secondary just isn’t as important as doing that.
Agreed
I think free agency is going to tell us a lot
I really can’t rule out the secondary and drafting defense early rather than OL at this point
the way I see it we have 8-9 positions to fill
OG, OG, S, S, CB, DL, LB, inline TE, and maybe another DL
we need to find a lot of players
I think the early part of free agency would be a bit of a failure if we didn’t sign at least one guard.
I don’t think it’s crazy to find 4-5 of those positions in the draft, but it would also be a better job than Grier has ever done
the draft kind of shapes us nicely to get at least one DB early and possibility that TE
I wouldn’t be mad if we went guard in the first two rounds – bc I think that addition can be game changing, but I would be worried at the other holes, particularly defense
I hope the Dolphins re-sign Benito jones
I thought he played well for us in 24
his cap hit last year was under 2 mil on a one year deal. Maybe he wants a longer deal but we should be able to afford one more year if he wants the same kind of contract
you can draft a developmental NT a little later in the draft on day 3 if you have a vet in place like Jones
Piggy, Ty Robinson came in at 288 pounds. He’s more like an Ogbah at that weight. However, that was his combine weight and not his playing weight. He will put some back on. I do like him at end of 5th when getting some beef for the DL earlier in the draft.
After trading down, I am high on going Kenneth Grant and Darius Alexander or Darius Alexander and Jamaree Caldwell.
Piggy, I think LG Banks is high on the Dolphins radar. Mainly due to price range and system familiarity. He’s above average, IMO. Not a “wow” signing but a solid starting LG. As Kyle Krabbs said, “Not a Robert Hunt, but not a Robert Jones either”.
Krabb’s video’s are rather long so I don’t post them. But he did his breakdown on how to clear some cap then broke down players to resign. Resigning these guys will cost 11-12 million: CB Kohou, ILB Dodson, OLB/Edge Bell, DT Hand, OT Kion Smith, OLB/Edge Goode and last one I don’t agree with but WR Dubose.
His F/A signings were interesting. He has us filling the entire OL with vets and not rookies with LG Aaron Banks and RG Will Fries. Then also signing swing OL Joe Noteboom. Noteboom is solid and has played OT and OG for the Rams. He just gets bit by the injury bug every year recently. Thought it was interesting he went that way instead of resigning Wynn.
Other notable F/A he said the Dolphins should sign QB Mariota, DT Bobby Brown and WR Ben Skowronek. He thinks we should sign the bigger and younger Skowronek instead of resigning Cracraft.
Skowronek is 6’3, 224, good ST (29 ST tackles in 4 years) and high IQ player. Not sure if he is as good a route runner as Cracraft.
I screwed that up on the cost of resigning players. He projected it at 15-16 million to sign them. Kohou and Dodson were multi year deal where some money could be pushed reduced the 2025 cap hit.
I like the thought of adding DT Bobby Brown III, 6’3, 324. He came on last 2 years for the Rams.
I think Krabb’s also had us double downing on safety in F/A with Moehrig and Blackmon. That would be nice. The part I didn’t like is they were multi 3 year deals pushing money to void years to be able to afford them and keep their 2025 cap hit low and their cap hit almost doubling each contract year.
How he did it would work though.
Blackmon was not as expensive as Moehrig.
Well, there goes the Tyreek/Joe Thuney trade scenario. LOL
The Chicago Bears are expected to trade for Kansas City Chiefs guard Joe Thuney in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round draft pick, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday, per sources.
Sucks, that means Chiefs will more than likely target OT Grey Zabel at #31 to be their new LG as rumored.
the other side of that coin is that the Bears are probably out of the market for free agent guards now
Mike E., You referring to this?
—————–
@FinsXtra
Bleacher Report have named OG Brandon Scherff as the perfect free-agent signing for the Miami Dolphins
“Scherff isn’t the player he was in his heyday, he hasn’t missed a game in three seasons and didn’t allow a sack in over 1,000 snaps last year.”
———–
He would be an option for the short term. His market value is around 6.7 million which is very doable. Banks would be a longer term solution. Either way, I am good with it. If Scherff, we still should draft his replacement.
I feel like most of us were banging the drum for him a half a decade ago…lol
if we sign him, I think the possibility of drafting OL early is high – and that wouldn’t be so bad, pair the veteran on his way out with a rookie with a high ceiling who can learn from him
Yes we were, but the Jags got him instead.
I would love Jordan Reid’s latest 2 round mock. #13 OT/OG Will Campbell and #48 Safety Xavier Watts.
Per Barry Jackson of The Miami Herald, the Dolphins have had contract discussions with Chubb but his future “remained undetermined” as of Tuesday.
We’re either going to release him or restructure.
I think they want to keep him. I just don’t see how they can make it work without Chubb taking a pay cut and pushing more money to void years.
Having a healthy Chubb and a healthy Phillips with Chop would be really nice though.
It really sucks that we’ve never even had Phillips and Chubb on the field together for many games. Chop only played 4 games with Phillips.
BBMike
I guess Robinson trimmed down for the combine
I think he was close to 320 at some point last season for Nebraska
Seems like a lot of DTs are trimming down for the combine
but in the long run I see Robinson more like Calais Campbell than Ogbah
You are right on that. I think it was around 310 which is nice. Dude is chiseled from what I hear. Again, I like him in that 5th round range and that’s where we usually get him.
hearing Scherff hasn’t missed a game in 3 years really makes me want to sign him
I don’t care if he’s 70
LOL
I think he’s 33. Listen, to be fair, this team is built for one more year, he wouldn’t be a long term answer, but this team has no long term answer all over the place, just like we signed 30 guys on 1 year contracts last season, including 39 YO Calais Campbell
Damn, where did my last post go. Must have refreshed before posting. Anyway…
Alain Poupart said Dolphins should trade a 4th round pick for Raiders TE Michael Mayer because they have Brock Bowers and Mayer is not a fit for Chip Kelly’s offense.
I don’t like it. I don’t see Mayer being an upgrade over Smythe other than he is a BIG dude like 6’5, 265. The production isn’t there even year 1 prior to getting Bowers. First 2 seasons, 48 rec on 72 targets for 460 yards and 2 TD’s. On top of that, he has missed 9 of 34 games (3 in 2023 and 6 in 2024). In 13 of the 25 games he has played, he has 1 reception or less.
I don’t see giving up a 4th for another Smythe or Julian Hill. Maybe our latest 5th.
BTW, Mayer’s cap hit to the Dolphins would only be 1.6 mil in 2025 and 2 mil in 2026.
Kendall Lamm appears to have made his decision when it comes to his football future, and that decision is returning to play for an 11th NFL season.
The question for the veteran offensive tackle will be whether he will be returning to the Miami Dolphins or signing with another team as an unrestricted free agent.
————-
Apparently, he had surgery to fix something in his back last year. They say he is working out hard and feeling great.
Lamm was trying to play last year with a bulging disc in his back but eventually ended up on IR. That’s tough trying to play trough.

Roster Moves | We have tendered the following exclusive rights free agents: LB Cameron Goode and T Kion Smith.
I guess this means we have the right to match an offer they get. In Goode’s case, if we don’t match, we would get a 7th round pick from the team who signs him. Smith was an UDFA by the Falcons so we wouldn’t get anything, just the right to match offers.
You would think they would just get these guys resigned prior to the 12th and not have to worry about it. Unless their camps are asking too much right now.
There is a lot to like about DT Norman-Lott. Like Ty Robinson and most all of the DL at the combine, he dropped a lot of weight preparing but plays around 305+.
How do these guys drop 20-30 pounds on frames like they have and I can’t drop 5
It’s their job to workout and eat right, unlike us. LOL
I know we should get a big, short yardage RB, but can’t help trying to get another explosive RB in the 7th round. Trevor Etienne who came in at 5’9 198 (combine weight) and ran a 4.42. A team would not be able to relax with Achane out and Wright or Etienne in. Like Achane, he is impossible to tackle one on one when he is the check down.
Landing spots for the top OL in our latest mock Read the full mock draft here: https://pff.com/news/draft-post-combine-2025-nfl-mock-draft-cam-ward-browns-armand-membou-shemar-stewart…
That is probably not far off from how they will fall. I do think Membou has elevated himself to the #1 OL spot.
So the Bears after adding Thuney and Jackson in the last couple of days are going to draft another Guard
I don’t think they are drafting Campbell at 10
I agree
I guess it kind of depends which team drafts those OL but most of those guys on the list are projected to play inside in the NFL
would be a really odd draft if a half a dozen interior OL were drafted in the first round
you don’t see that everyday
I see the Crabbs-man is riding my dark-horse Jihaad Campbell @ R1P13: ‘stable genius’! That would be an excellent pick for us, truly. He also pegs BBM’s guy Jackson Hawes and my guy Jalin Conyers back-to-back at the TE position (double-dip) with our 5th round picks.
seems really high for a Campbell. Is he that good?
It’s just a weak draft for elite talent.
IF we do NOT add a legit CB opposite Ramsey via FA (which I would encourage to do), IF CB Will Johnson falls to us @ R1P13 (doubtful), we all but HAVE to take him. We can’t rely on Cam Smith at this point in time, and to take a CB later in the Draft may take a few years to develop.
FA emergency: starting CB opposite Ramsey.
Perhaps “Big Play” Slay could be a viable option if the price is right?
I was thinking about Slay too. I wonder was his price is going to be. He may come cheaper than expected
LOVE IT, but for one thing… where’s your developmental QB!!! 😉
eh….I skipped it this time. I took a RB instead
box safety alert
I’ve always like Ransom. He’s been like a quiet unsung hero on that Buckeyes defense.
if we draft 2 safeties, I think you have to look at him. I also wouldn’t be surprised if he’s available well into day 3
M, Did you see what I posted earlier about what the “Crabbs-man” addressed in resigning our own and FA. (9:22 am post)
and 9:44am post, him addressing safety
the thing about bringing in a guy like Slay at CB, if we do that, is having two vets like Ramsey and Slay at CB, would make me feel a lot better about two rookies at safety
people are reporting that Chubb has agreed to restructure/take pay cut
not sure about the details but sounds like we got more cap room
yeah- I read that his base salary is lowered, but he can reach his original pay if incentives are met.
Mike – Didn’t see that, just went to spotrac 2025 free agents. I looked up afew guys, saw what they’ve been doing.

The #Bears are signing former #Dolphins TE Durham Smythe to a 1-year deal, source says, as he’s back with Ben Johnson — his former WRs coach in Miami. Smythe was one of the longest tenured Dolphins.
Bears have been busy.
BBM – think you commented about Gunnar Helm running a slow 40. Did you see this? ()
This I’d what he did

“he can reach his original pay if incentives are met”
————
Chubb’s 2025 incentives will count against the 2026 cap increasing his 29 million cap hit next year.
If it is just incentive money, it should still leave him tradable next year pre 6/1, especially if he balls out and stays healthy this year.
think I said b4 don’t follow college but follow along on here to see where the consensus is heading
Mike E – from last blog – yes, watched both series of Rings of Power. Always loved Tolkein and Middle Earth. Thought 1st series was slower than 2nd. 1st laid the foundations, 2nd built on it and I loved it
UK, Oh shit! I did not. I could not watch at work so I was just monitoring results. That explains a whole lot!
He’s still is not a speedy TE, probably a 4.70 guy like most TE’s. He’s a really good receiving TE and decent blocker. Not quite a true Y TE.
For him to go out and complete all the drills on a bad ankle risking further injury says a LOT about this kid. “Leave me in coach, I’m good”.
Thanks for sharing my man!
Tankathon’s latest 3 round mock is nice except pick #98.
#13 TE Tyler Warren
#48 OT Jonah Savaiinaea
#98 DT Vernon Broughton
I think that is too high for Broughton. IMO, he’s a 5th round project at best. He has really good abilities and can be disruptive vs pass and rush, but too often he gets there and doesn’t finish. He’s not good in the tackling department. I think he graded in the mid 50 percentile in tackling. Not what the Dolphins need.

It would be great to be able to rotate Chubb, Phillips and Chop on the edge.

I really like the Bradley Chubb deal. Granted both he and Jaelen Phillips return to health, coupled with the hopeful emergence of Mo Kamara in year 2, we quite possibly have the best OLB/EDGE room in the NFL.
Oh… and then there’s CHOP!!!
So with the new Chubb deal, we haven’t painted ourselves into a corner so as to HAVE to take an EDGE early.
I’d like to reiterate a point I made yesterday: get a decent starting (boundary) CB opposite Jalen Ramsey in FA, and we’re not painting ourselves into a corner so as to HAVE to take a CB @ R1P13.
IMO, there’s only one CB who might be able to be a STUD in his rookie season: Will Johnson, Michigan. If he’s off the board when we select @ R1P13, we’re going to have to develop another early CB… NOT IDEAL, being it usually takes 3 years to make a young CB into a STUD.
I also don’t trust our current coaching staff to successfully develop a CB on time… look no further than Iggy and now Cam Smith.
In short, we need to sign a FA CB to start opposite Ramsey… my target would be Slay.
It’s really unfortunate for us that Will Fuller didn’t work for us last season, what with the two concussions he sustained.
Adam Schefter
Colts announced they have released DT Raekwon Davis.
So much potential for Raekwon… never realized, for whatever reason.
@PFF_College
Michigan Cornerback Will Johnson Since 2023:
478 Coverage Snaps
Zero TDs Allowed
6 INTs | 4 PBUs
36.7 Passer Rating Allowed
84.1 Coverage Grade
I’m hearing through the ‘grapevine’ that there may be “maturity issues” regarding Walter Nolen… based on Combine interviews. No way to verify this, one way or the other.
This could possibly be a SMOKESCREEN, or it could be the truth.
I heard rumblings about it around a month ago
CAN’T WAIT for FA to open on Monday!!!
Just do us TWO favors in (outside) FA, Chris Grier…
Oh yeah… one more thing. Sign a LEGIT Safety in FA.
Negotiations Monday, signings not until Wednesday.
Crabbs says we should sign both Trevon Moehrig and Julian Blackmon.
At safety
My weather feed is telling me that sunset is coming… what a VERY accurate feed that is! 😆

————-
Moehrig isn’t a bad idea… I like him. But I’d much rather sign Richie Grant. JMO and preference… BALL HAWK!!!
If we could come away with Richie Grant and X-Watts, for example… we’d have an ELITE Safety unit.
Then sign Darius Slay to start opposite Jalen Ramsey, and our secondary is NICETY!
I think Kyle Crabbs is a very good and cool cat… he knows our team way better than most. He and I agree on several points, but not on everything. And that’s why I respect him… he makes me think.
I’d hope the same for anybody and everybody: it’s all good to put opinions out, but it’s also important to listen to another’s opinion.
As far as CB, if Benjamin Morrison falls to #48, I am taking him. He was a preseason 1st round, top 10 prospect until had to have season ending surgery on a torn muscle in his hip.
In 2022, Morrison held Marvin Harrison Jr to 5 rec for 56 yards with 0 TD’s as a freshman. In 2023, he held Harrison to 3 rec 32 yards.
He’s a lockdown CB. I actually like him more than Will Johnson as he is better in man/press than Johnson.
He didn’t do the combine but is having a private workout for scouts where he has been training in South Florida.
The e human seatbelt is quite the nickname…
It’s going to be interesting to see how we approach FA. I don’t really have a feel for what we’ll do.
there seems to be some rumblings about keeping Holland
if we do that – he’s gonna be sprocket we can’t do much else
i really hope we bring in one vet OL and one DB
if we managed to sign two starting Page, I would be estatic
There is always a way to manipulate the cap. I don’t even worry about it anymore. Every year we see it done.
From everything I’m reading , Jihaad Campbell
is rocketing up draft boards after the combine.
I think he’s going to be really good in the NFL.
he definitely looks the part
“Manipulating the cap” year-to-year just so you can fill a roster is not building a team for long-term success, imo.
Managing the cap without being constrained by it allows you to select the best players for your team needs at ANY given time, again imo. It’s winning football at the GM level.
No trade draft turned out ok
13.Armand Membou OT Missouri
48.Xavier Watts S Notre Dame
98.Savion Williams WR TCU
115.Dillon Gabriel QB Oregon
135.Demetrius Knight Jr. LB South Carolina
151.Garrett Dellinger OG LSU
156.Howard Cross III DT Notre Dame
226.Jermari Harris CB Iowa
233.Nazir Stackhouse DT Georgia
252.Nofoafia Tulafono OC Wyoming
More challenging with no trade downs. Add a vet DT like Bobby Brown in FA and this would be nice.
I can’t avoid the trade downs right now.
26. Malaki Starks S Georgia
48. Donovan Jackson OG Ohio State
50. Kenneth Grant DT Michigan
90. Elijah Arroyo TE Miami (FL)
98. Cameron Skattebo RB Arizona State
100. Darius Alexander DT Toledo
115. Jacob Parrish CB Kansas State
135. Malachi Moore S Alabama
151. J.J. Pegues DT Ole Miss
156. Jackson Slater OG Sacramento State
173. Nohl Williams CB California
226. Andrew Armstrong WR Arkansas
233. Cody Simon LB Ohio State
252. Jalen McLeod LB Auburn
I haven’t thought about any free agent RB’s, but I wonder is Nick Chubb would be a good fit especially as a short yardage RB. His current market value on a 1yr deal is only 3.2 million.
Commanders re-signing LB Bobby Wagner to one-year contract worth up to $9.5 million
Miami linebacker Quinton Bell played all 17 games last season, but the Dolphins are ready to let him leave in free agency this year. The Dolphins will not tender Bell as a restricted free agent, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

They can still resign him before FA starts
I still think it is REALLY F’ed up we have to take a 4.4 million dead cap hit this year for Shaquil Barrett and he never played a down for us.
Just doesn’t seem right.
That’s per Spotrac

The Commanders are releasing DT Jonathan Allen, per source. They couldn’t find a trade partner.

At the end of day Jonathan Allen will have final say on where he plays next but I can tell you with EXTREME CONFIDENCE the #Dolphins love the player. They’ve inquired about him multiple times over the years and he’s now a free agent. Your move Grier.
Jonathan Allen was making $18M/year with the Redskins. If he wants close to that as a Dolphin… PASS.

Texans cutting guard Shaq Mason after two seasons https://nfl.com/news/nfl-news-roundup-latest-league-updates-from-friday-march-7#texans
@McClain_on_NFL
RG Shaq Mason had a bad season with the Texans, allowing 10.5 sacks. It’s not surprising they’re releasing him. They need 2 new starters on an interior O-line that was terrible last season.

HARD pass.
Mike E,
This should be music to your ears… not. There are ‘reports’ (I’d call them rumors) out there that we’re looking to add several FA DTs to fill the position. This reminds me of the ‘waves of tsunamis’ idea of last season.
I hope it’s not true and it obviously can’t be verified at the moment… that’s why I’d call it a rumor. We MUST focus on getting younger, and I hope we select a DT before day 2 of the Draft ends.
Ugh! Check out my new article, I discuss this.
MikeE will flip if we sign Jonathan Allen on a big contract and didn’t resign Wilkins.
