Preseason Game 3 – Jaguars @ Dolphins

The Dolphins finally host a Preseason football game, and mercifully we won’t have to listen to another awful broadcast in which it seems as if our team isn’t even involved in the game. This time, the commentary will be all about our Dolphins, for better or for worse. Look, there are some things to like about our team, but this is the final Preseason game and most likely this game won’t feature very many starters or potentially even 2nd string players, this is mostly a battle for players to make the 53 man roster and avoid being cut.

The Dolphins lost a RB early on in Alexander Mattison. That will give 2nd year RB Jaylen Wright a chance to step up and show he was worth trading a 2025 3rd RD pick to take him last year. Wright saw very little action last season with a paltry 68 carries for 249 yards (3.7 YPC). #1 on the RB depth chart is De’Von Achane who is banged up at the moment but likely to play Week 1 against the Colts, or at least HC Mike McDaniel believes he will be able to play. Either way, Wright should be the #2 back, with rookie Ollie Gordon as the #3 RB. We may see a decent amount of Wright and Gordon, as well as newcomers Mike Boone and Aaron Shampklin. What looked like a strength with Mattison running hard now looks like it could end up being a liability if Wright doesn’t get it into gear. These guys need to be ready, know their blocking responsibilities and be ready to play a lot of football if Achane either can’t go in initially or his injury flares up during the game.

As far as QB, with the good play of rookie QB Quinn Ewers, 7th RD pick (#231) in 2025, you’d have to think we’re going to carry 3 QB’s. Last year’s fiasco when Tua went down won’t be duplicated this year if Tua gets hurt, and realistically, it’s not IF, it’s WHEN. They simply can’t be embarrassed and caught with their pants down like they did last season bringing in multiple practice squad QB’s from other teams and starting them a week later. That’s a big roster spot, having the necessity to carry 3 QB’s. You have to think we’ll carry backup veteran Zach Wilson, and also keep the rookie who shows promise (Quinn Ewers), so there you have it, 3 QB’s. If we dare to put Quinn Ewers on the PS, he’d surely be gone quickly.

The defensive front 7, potentially the strength of this team just got a an early Christmas present. Veteran pass rusher Matt Judon joins an already formidable group of pass rushers in LB’s Jaelan Phillips, Chop Robinson, and Bradley Chubb. Judon signing will allow us 1 less young player, so one of Quinton Bell, Cameron Goode, Grayson Murphy, Derrick McClendon or Mo Kamara will make the roster, while the others hope to get put on the PS. I also so potentially a strength because although we may like what we’ve seen from LDE Kenneth Grant, and even further down the depth chart in Jordan Phillips and Zeek Biggers and RDE Matt Dickerson, we haven’t sen any of these guys in real NFL action yet and they are unknowns. Remember last season, we had a future Hall of Famer in Calais Campbell, a 37 year old dynamo. He was great for us last season, and we don’t know if Grant or even the combination of Grant and Biggers will be equal to what we had in Campbell, and that’s a pretty fair question. Plus, you have to truly consider the health of this group. Can Jaelan Phillips stay healthy, Bradley Chubb? Like Tua, these guys are difficult to rely on or expect an entire season put of.

The inside LB crew is stout, very happy with what we have, but you have to figure we carry only 4 here. Jordyn Brooks and Willie Gay will be the starters and Tyrell Dodson and KJ Britt the backups. I really like what we have, but we won’t have much depth there, especially carrying 3 QB’s. OLB Matt Judon may play a large role here, especially if there’s an injury to one of our starters. It’s also possible he earns more playing time and either Jaelan Phillips or Bradley Chubb become more situational pass rushers to hopefully keep them healthy, we’ll have to see how this works out.

Then we go to Safety where a lot of you are excited about the return of the great Minkah Fitzpatrick. I don’t share your enthusiasm, and to be honest, I don’t think Minkah Fitzpatrick does either. I’m sure he was stung by the trade, big time. That could potentially give him and edge to show Pittsburgh that they made a big mistake, or he could sulk and complain that he doesn’t like being used in various different roles like he did the first time he was here.It seems as if Iffy Melifonwu will join Fitzpatrick as the Strong Safety. Safety is another position where a nice young player will be cut, because we have a glut of young players with potential here in Patrick McMorris, Dante Trader Jr., who will be competing with veteran Ashtyn Davis as well as our own Elijah Campbell.

Then we go to CB, and this game will probably tell us a little bit more about what we will look like back there. Storm Duck and Kendall Sheffield will likely be our outside starting CB’s. Veteran Mike Hilton will be the nickel corner. It’s still possible there could be a change, because veteran Jack Jones might just steal a spot here. Ethan Bonner could also potentially end up starting, but he’s banged up now so we don’t know when he will be available. There’s also rookie NB Jason Marshall and the ever present Cam Smith, who I believe will have exhausted his opportunities and may finally get the axe. You can only be so patient, and Cam Smith has yet to thrust himself into a position where he’s got to be on the roster.

The WR group could prove to be an interesting situation. We know the top 3, Hill, Waddle and Washington (Malik). The depth here is uncertain. It seems like Dee ESkridge could make it, and you’d have to think Nick Westbrook-Ikhine should be safe, but is it possible WR Erik Ezukanma gets the nod over Ikhine who hasn’t really shown a lot since he’s been here? I know 3rd string Qb Quinn Ewers loves him some Theo Wease, but he’s a longshot. There’s also Tahj Washington, so there will be at least a couple of surprises. Not sure if we carry 5 or 6 Wr’s and again, carrying that 3rd QB hurts here.

Special teams will be the same K and P as last season, the decision has been made to keep P Jake bailey over Ryan Stonehouse, so that’s that. Jason Sanders had a great season and happy to have him back. WR Malik Washington will serve as the primary KR/PR, likely backed up by WR Dee Eskridge, if he makes the cut. Tyreek Hill will be used in certain situations as well.

We’ll see how some of these battles shake out tomorrow against the Jags at Hard Rock tomorrow. Injuries of course will make some decisions for Grier and MM, they always do unfortunately. I look forward at a minimum to hearing the home broadcast so we can actually hear about OUR team and not about the Bears or the Lions, Oh my!

      This from the Herald:

Kicker Jason Sanders left with an injury but “isn’t overly concerned about Week 1,” McDaniel said of the Sept. 7 opener at the Colts. Sanders was able to kick PATs, he told McDaniel, who instead opted to practice two-point conversions to err on the side of caution.

  18. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

From Omar, right after the game:

We have witnessed a catastrophic mismanagement of resources.

The Miami Dolphins’ struggles building and sustaining a respectable offensive line the past few years is more evidence that general manager Chris Grier has a blind spot when it comes to evaluating that position.

The good NFL evaluators can find and develop third-day picks that turn into solid, if not productive NFL offensive lineman. Not the Dolphins. They have to buy them in free agency, and even then there’s no guarantee. Larry Borom was the worst playing lineman on the NFL’s worst offensive line — the Chicago Bears — last season and the Dolphins’ decision-makers targeted him to be the team’s top backup offensive tackle this offseason? It figures!

Tua Tagovailoa was sacked twice on his three drives in Miami’s preseason finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars, a 14-6 win. Once on a block Borom, who has been filling in for the injured Austin Jackson as Miami’s starting right tackle, missed, and the other was a block tight end Pharoah Brown couldn’t hold. “It felt good to get hit again. Maybe that’s not what people want to hear,” Tagovailoa said after the game. “It feels good to get out there and sacked a little.”

Both sacks killed drives, and if we’re being honest, they each could have hurt Miami’s starting quarterback in a game that doesn’t even count. Considering Tagovailoa, who finished the game completing 4 of 8 passes, throwing for 48 yards, which includes a 25-yard run-after-catch touchdown Malik Washington scored on after catching the ball 3 yards past the line of scrimmage, is the NFL’s most fragile quarterback, Grier is unintentionally setting this team up for failure based on the talent assembled in the offensive line room.

Last year Grier laughed off our concerns about that unit before admitting he made an error. Well, here comes the sequel. I’m a big believer that football games are won and lost in the trenches, and this Dolphins organization has neglected that unit for far too long. Heading into Tuesday’s cut day — where the Dolphins need to trim the 90-player training camp roster down to 53 — it’s my opinion that South Florida’s NFL franchise doesn’t have enough 53-man-roster-worthy offensive linemen to pick from. Borom, Daniel Brunskill, Jackson Carman, Braeden Daniels and Kion Smith all belong on Miami’s practice squad, the team’s developmental unit for youngsters and fringe NFL talent. Not the 53-man roster.

Say your prayers that Grier makes an 11th-hour trade for an offensive tackle, signs a decent veteran whose salary was too high for another team’s taste, and/or claims someone with upside off the waiver wire because reinforcements are badly needed. Think about it, we’re officially at the point of hoping that Liam Eichenberg comes to the unit’s rescue when he recovers from an offseason knee procedure that got him placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list at the start of training camp.

Imagine a world where Eichenberg, who has been the weakest link on this offensive line for the past four seasons, struggling in most of his 52 starters, is the top backup at all five spots on the offensive line, and is desperately needed to fortify Miami’s most troublesome unit. “I don’t foresee it being an immediate return, but I don’t see it being season long,” McDaniel said when asked if Eichenberg will be healthy enough to start the season on the 53-man roster. “That’s an exact topic that will be substantially addresses in the next few hours.”

It better be because this is a dangerous spot for the Dolphins to be in considering it has been decades since Miami hasn’t had to start the team’s seventh, if not eighth, and sometimes ninth offensive lineman for a handful of games in the season.

Who remembers last year’s loss to the Houston Texans, a game where Carman, a player on last year’s practice squad, had to start the game at right tackle – a position he hasn’t played in a game – because of injuries to Miami’s top three offensive tackles, and allowed two sacks in a game Tagovailoa injured his hip scrambling around. Expect the sequel unless Grier does something creative because these backups are BAD.

Last year Miami’s offensive playcalling got watered down because of the struggles the offensive line was having running the ball once Jackson missed the second half of the season because of a knee injury he sustained in Miami’s fourth-quarter loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Miami’s Tagovailoa-led offense had to evolve from that point, relying on short passes to move the chains, and I can predict the same type of future is on this team’s horizon if reinforcements aren’t added. Grier has made four trades at this point in the year to acquire offensive linemen since his tenure as the team’s top decision-maker began in 2019, and he might need to do so again because that unit will serve as an anchor weighing down the offense, if not the team.

Without a reliable rushing attack Miami will become a one-dimensional offense again, much like last season, and if defenses don’t have to respect the rushing game they will back the safeties up and choke out Miami’s deep-ball game.

We went into this past offseason knowing that Miami’s offensive line needed to be rebuilt, and it was courtesy of Patrick Paul’s elevation, James Daniel’s signing, and Jonah Savaiinaea’s selection in the second round. But where are the backups?

  19. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

    Injury updates:

Regarding Devon Achane, McDaniel said that he has had “no setbacks.” That is a bit of a vague update. I mean, not having any setbacks is good, but that doesn’t give a promising timeline on whether he will be ready for the start of the season. So, we probably won’t know more about this until the first injury report comes out days before the game vs the Colts, Week 1.

When asked about Liam Eichenberg, McDaniel said he doesn’t foresee the injury being season-long, but he also doesn’t see him returning immediately. This leads me to believe he is going to start the season on IR. As much as Dolphins fans aren’t the biggest Eichenberg fans, the team does need him, as the second-string offensive line is struggling, and his presence would be a help.

Talking about Jordyn Brooks injury, McDaniel said it is minor, and if this were a regular-season game, he would have played tonight.

Janson Sanders did not play tonight vs Jacksonville, and McDaniel said he isn’t overly concerned that he will miss Week 1. And that Sanders wanted to kick extra points tonight, but they didn’t let him.

The update on Jaylen Wright does have me a bit concerned. McDaniel said he is “week to week” with a leg injury, and “they are evaluating a couple of options procedurally.”

To me, that is a big red flag, as he was injured on Thursday morning, and as of Saturday night, they are still evaluating this. I don’t like the sound of that, which makes me think he’ll be out for a bit, and this might be somewhat serious.

first defensive snap of the game with chop chub and Phillips all combining for the sack was awesome. The Jaguars picking up the first down on third and 14 sucked

the Jaguars were really gassing our first team defense up the middle with their second team defense

Rumors are swirling around both Evan Neal (G-Men) and Cole Strange (Patsies*, we won’t trade with them)) either getting cut or traded. Both are better than Borum.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

If memory serves, Cole Strange would be a system-fit for us and has played all 5 O-Line positions. Evan Neal could serve as either a backup road-grating Guard or swing Tackle in a pinch.

Again, both are better than Borum, who led the NFL in sacks yielded last season at his position.

  27. Wyoming85's avatar Wyoming85 says:

    Travis Wingfield

Aaron Brewer is awesome. Pancakes in the run game, super active finding work in pass pro. Looks midseason form.

  28. Randy's avatar Randy says:

This is what drives me nuts about people evaluating OL play. First on the Brewer video, you don’t get to call a block on a LB a pancake block. It was a nice drive block, but against a guy 40 pounds smaller you should drive him to the ground. No pancake. He did his job…nothing to see here. It’s what smaller, quicker centers should do.

Second play; It’s actually Jonah’s right arm that sets the position of the defender. Brewer is just kinda holding on from a bad angle as the defender moves/falls backwards. Not to mention the guy he’s blocking almost stripped the ball from the RB with his off arm…the one Brewer wasn’t holding….and made the tackle….so, what?

I’m not ripping Brewer….he did his job but come on. This team is desperate for positive PR. Especially on the OL.

  29. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

I fundamentally… AGREE! It’s nice to see the dawg in players, even when it’s inconsequential to the play. However, it does feel like a bit of a PR stunt to show as much.

This O-Line MUST get better… particularly with our depth.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Absolutely agreed. I keep saying, there’s something in the water down there. It’s most frustrating. We’ll see what happens, but I feel we’re paper-thin as far as our depth on the O-Line and CB rooms.

  31. Randy's avatar Randy says:

    M13,

Brewer is what he is. He’s the least of our problems on the OL, but he also limits what you can do in certain situations. He competes and plays hard.

It’s like having a smaller LB who gives you mobility and range but can’t plug a hole. Choices. You just need to know how you can use him and how to adjust.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Yup! Brewer’s size-limitations certainly keep us from doing specific things. I wouldn’t trust him for a ‘Brotherly Shove’ or the like in short-yardage sits.

  32. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Rich,

You’re still a Stanford fan, I presume. If so, do you see anybody on their roster this season who might become a stud in the NFL?

    • rich0322's avatar rich0322 says:

Nope, stopped watching after coach Shaw left. I still root for Tennessee and Syracuse and have been since the mid 80’s. I also have others I like watching, with Oregon being one of them.

  33. rich0322's avatar rich0322 says:

    My thoughts after pre-season:

1)The OL depth is a joke!!!

2)We better be keeping both Washington’s on the 53 man roster, even if that means keeping 6 or even trading Hill.

3)Ollie should be the #2 RB heading into week 1.

4)The defense will have its good plays and bad plays, but I think they will improve as the season goes along.

    5) OL(TE included) and Defense(DBs & Pass Rushers) should be the main focus next offseason. It seems OL is every offseason, but that’s our bone headed GM for you.

I already have some favorites for the 2026 draft.

Right there with you Rich. If somehow Caleb Downs is there when we pick, you have to take him. He’s an elite talent.

Since you watch TN, what are your thoughts on CB Jermod McCoy? I know he is coming off injury, but he is in the top 3 of press corners in college right now.

I have already mocked CB AJ Harris to us a couple times.

Also, who are your OL targets. I don’t have any specific. Keep an eye on both OT’s from Utah though.

    • rich0322's avatar rich0322 says:

We’ll see with McCoy, time will tell. As for OL, I’m waiting until I get a feel for the season. The 5 guys I have above were from standing out in 2024.

Getting another OL or 2 must be a priority going into next offseason. Yea, I know we seem to say that every damn year with this GM.

  42. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Rich, Stanford did have a guy to keep an eye on but he hit the portal and is at Texas Tech now. It’s OLB/Edge David Bailey, 6’3, 250, 4.52 forty. He would be (right now, prior to this season) a guy to think about in the 3rd round next draft.

We do have to think about Edge right now as we don’t know the fate of Phillips and Chubb could be a cap casualty.

Do your fucking due diligence you lazy fucks!

Can’t say your wrong right now. Wright needs to prove something, because one of new favorites (Ollie) is about to pass him by.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Ollie has already passed him, not sure that means Wright sucks or won’t make it, but Ollie’s vision is far superior

    • bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I don’t think Wright sucks. His vision might not be as good as Achane or Gordon’s. Watching these games, most of his runs for no gain were due to the OL getting blown up, mainly our rookie OG, backup OG’s and backup center’s.

  47. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I don’t think Wright sucks, it’s just another example of Grier and how he has no patience or discipline in the draft. So many trade ups for no reason. Running backs usually aren’t worth it, especially if he’s not going to be your primary back anyway.

  48. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Kendall Lamm might get released by the Eagles because he is not 100%. He is still having the same problem he had last year with the Dolphins and also why he didn’t play as well for us last year as he did in 2023.

Got to hand it to him though. He has a nerve issue in his back and when it gets compressed the wrong way his left side gets numb. He played through it for us anyway last year. Problem hasn’t cleared but doctors tell him he is safe to play.

    139. Devonte Ross WR Penn State

    203. Haynes King QB Georgia Tech

  51. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Illinois Edge Gabe Jacas kind of reminds me of a Chubb. He’s a bigger and powerful OLB/Edge at 6’3, 275. He had 74 tackles, 8 sacks and 3 FF last year. Like Chubb, he can’t be relied on much in coverage. He would be a solid 3rd round pick though.

  52. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I can’t help but like RT Spencer Fano from Utah. I think he could start right out the gate but would be a great backup/future replacement for Jackson. He started 11 games as a freshman at LT then started 13 games at RT as a sophomore. He can also play either OG position. I believe he is the #1 run blocking OT going into this season. WE NEED OL DEPTH!!!

    who else plays there?

    ————

Ethan Robinson (according to OurLads), who we also cut. Cornell Armstrong to be the backup nickel back?

  65. rich0322's avatar rich0322 says:

TE position is going to be a disaster this year, I have no doubt.

  66. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

TBH, Rucci was having just as good a preseason blocking at the TE position as Pharoh Brown. IMO, they are kind of one in the same.

  67. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Really surprised at the Mike Hilton release. Cornell Armstrong was struggling there.

Though, I think Jason Marshall has taken that job away from him and Armstrong. I guess Armstrong will be the backup there or maybe they keep another safety who can play the slot.

  68. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

    Per Dolphins Talk:

    RB Aaron Shampklin

    RB Mike Boone

    CB Mike Hilton

    OL Jackson Carmen

    OL  Jalen McKenzie

    OL Addison West

    DL Ben Stille

    TE Pharoah Brown

    WR AJ Henning

    CB Ethan Robinson

    OL Mason Brooks

    TE Chris Myarick

  69. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Of the cuts so far, one of the RB’s and Henning should be brought back to the PS. Maybe Addison West and Carmen also.

  70. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Shouldn’t be too surprised at the cuts. That’s only 12 cuts so far. They have to make 25 more cuts. There will be more surprises.

They will be 1 or 2 cuts who will be brought back, most notably the LS so they can hold someone to put them on PUP or the temp IR.

  71. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Saints cut RB Cam Ackers, though he’s not the same anymore.

  72. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

    ————-

My sentiments exactly. Still can’t believe we cut Mike Hilton. If Jason Marshall has any rookie hiccups (he will) or gets injured, we’re in trouble.

Add backup nickel back to our list of needs… probably via the waiver wire.

  74. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

little upset about Pharoah Brown but it started to lean in the direction in preseason – he just didn’t do much

is Rucci the real deal or more developmental? He looked good in limited opportunities

I’m a lot more scared about the TE position than the DB position or the OL group

  75. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    @TheJoeMarino

Jordan Phillips is expected to sign with the Bills for a FOURTH TIME! Does it make sense?

    ———–

I think we have the better Jordan Phillips right now, but wouldn’t it be funny if we had two DTs named Jordan Phillips, playing on the field at the same time? Not sure we’ve seen that in all of NFL history.

  79. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Still early, but 3 players I wouldn’t mind seeing on our PS from other teams are QB Carter Bradley, OT Logan Brown and TE Jaheim Bell. I was kind of high on Logan Brown coming out of Kansas.

  80. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Don’t think it was mentioned here yet, but P Ryan Stonehouse was cut by our Phins.

  81. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I’m not that concerned about TE because it’s not the staple of our offense in terms of targets. Waller is really more of a big receiver that can create mismatches.

    • bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Agree and Conner is a receiving threat also

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Yet you did see the amount of targets Jonnu Smith had last season. Better hope our O-Line can generate a running game and no starters get injured, or we’ll be facing 2-deep Safeties all day and night again.

Waller is no Jonnu Smith in terms of YAC (Yards After CONTACT).

      • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Jonnu had 88 receptions last season.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Waller is different than Jonnu, opposite almost tall/short contested catch/YAC good route runner/playground receiver

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Jonnu wasn’t a prototype TE either. Waller is a different style of player. I’m not sure what to expect from him at this point but his size is a mismatch.

  82. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Strike that. The QB I would like to see us sign to the PS is Austin Reed who the Bears just cut in their second wave of cuts.

  83. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

let’s just throw a bunch of guys named Phil on the Practice Squad and see how they develop

    ————

It should also be noted that Waller cannot block. I didn’t think it was even possible, but his blocking grades are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than Mike Gesicki’s… even in his prime years.

Why did we get rid of Gesicki again? Because he couldn’t block? YUP! And now we have a guy who sucks at it even worse than Gesicki. When Waller is in the game, opposing Defenses will know it’s a pass play.

The #Eagles are waiving offensive lineman Kenyon Green, sources tell @CBSSports. Was a first-round pick in 2022 and has made 23 career starts. Had been acquired in a trade with the Texans in March.

  87. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Y’all,

We really could use Michael Mayer. He comes from the OZBS at Notre Dame, knows how it works, and he’s a pretty good blocker. Not to mention, he’s a pretty good receiver… just totally overshadowed by the emergence of Brock Bowers.

I think he could be had for a conditional 5th rounder… that could turn into a 4th rounder. I’d do it in a heartbeat.

  88. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I think it’s a good sign when most of you are discussing depth.

  89. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers recently met with team brass and requested to be traded, per me and Tom Pelissero.

The team, citing his value, said they had no plans to do so. Meyers and the team attempted to negotiate a new contract, but could not come to terms.

Dolphins RB Jaylen Wright not expected to play Week 1 vs. Colts with leg injury. But should return in “foreseeable future” after that per HC Mike McDaniel. Kicker Jason Sanders will miss games w/ injury. Not a season ender & no surgery but they have to find a new kicker for now.

  93. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    @flasportsbuzz

McDaniel said Austin Jackson is “still on a steady path to Week 1 barring any setbacks.” Has no timetable yet on Liam, who remains on PUP.

  94. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    @DavidFurones_

With Mike Hilton cut, Mike McDaniel was not yet willing to name Jason Marshall Jr. the starter as the nickel corner as competition remains ongoing, but Marshall’s abilities displayed covering the slot certainly had to give the Dolphins confidence in not moving forward with Hilton

  95. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    @flasportsbuzz

McDaniel said it’s undetermined if Jaylen Wright will need surgery but “I don’t see an extended” absence… My words, not Mike’s: Running backs for Week 1 at Indy would figure to be Achane (IF calf cooperates), Ollie Gordon II and a person who is not currently on the roster.
