The Dolphins finally host a Preseason football game, and mercifully we won’t have to listen to another awful broadcast in which it seems as if our team isn’t even involved in the game. This time, the commentary will be all about our Dolphins, for better or for worse. Look, there are some things to like about our team, but this is the final Preseason game and most likely this game won’t feature very many starters or potentially even 2nd string players, this is mostly a battle for players to make the 53 man roster and avoid being cut.
The Dolphins lost a RB early on in Alexander Mattison. That will give 2nd year RB Jaylen Wright a chance to step up and show he was worth trading a 2025 3rd RD pick to take him last year. Wright saw very little action last season with a paltry 68 carries for 249 yards (3.7 YPC). #1 on the RB depth chart is De’Von Achane who is banged up at the moment but likely to play Week 1 against the Colts, or at least HC Mike McDaniel believes he will be able to play. Either way, Wright should be the #2 back, with rookie Ollie Gordon as the #3 RB. We may see a decent amount of Wright and Gordon, as well as newcomers Mike Boone and Aaron Shampklin. What looked like a strength with Mattison running hard now looks like it could end up being a liability if Wright doesn’t get it into gear. These guys need to be ready, know their blocking responsibilities and be ready to play a lot of football if Achane either can’t go in initially or his injury flares up during the game.
As far as QB, with the good play of rookie QB Quinn Ewers, 7th RD pick (#231) in 2025, you’d have to think we’re going to carry 3 QB’s. Last year’s fiasco when Tua went down won’t be duplicated this year if Tua gets hurt, and realistically, it’s not IF, it’s WHEN. They simply can’t be embarrassed and caught with their pants down like they did last season bringing in multiple practice squad QB’s from other teams and starting them a week later. That’s a big roster spot, having the necessity to carry 3 QB’s. You have to think we’ll carry backup veteran Zach Wilson, and also keep the rookie who shows promise (Quinn Ewers), so there you have it, 3 QB’s. If we dare to put Quinn Ewers on the PS, he’d surely be gone quickly.
The defensive front 7, potentially the strength of this team just got a an early Christmas present. Veteran pass rusher Matt Judon joins an already formidable group of pass rushers in LB’s Jaelan Phillips, Chop Robinson, and Bradley Chubb. Judon signing will allow us 1 less young player, so one of Quinton Bell, Cameron Goode, Grayson Murphy, Derrick McClendon or Mo Kamara will make the roster, while the others hope to get put on the PS. I also so potentially a strength because although we may like what we’ve seen from LDE Kenneth Grant, and even further down the depth chart in Jordan Phillips and Zeek Biggers and RDE Matt Dickerson, we haven’t sen any of these guys in real NFL action yet and they are unknowns. Remember last season, we had a future Hall of Famer in Calais Campbell, a 37 year old dynamo. He was great for us last season, and we don’t know if Grant or even the combination of Grant and Biggers will be equal to what we had in Campbell, and that’s a pretty fair question. Plus, you have to truly consider the health of this group. Can Jaelan Phillips stay healthy, Bradley Chubb? Like Tua, these guys are difficult to rely on or expect an entire season put of.
The inside LB crew is stout, very happy with what we have, but you have to figure we carry only 4 here. Jordyn Brooks and Willie Gay will be the starters and Tyrell Dodson and KJ Britt the backups. I really like what we have, but we won’t have much depth there, especially carrying 3 QB’s. OLB Matt Judon may play a large role here, especially if there’s an injury to one of our starters. It’s also possible he earns more playing time and either Jaelan Phillips or Bradley Chubb become more situational pass rushers to hopefully keep them healthy, we’ll have to see how this works out.
Then we go to Safety where a lot of you are excited about the return of the great Minkah Fitzpatrick. I don’t share your enthusiasm, and to be honest, I don’t think Minkah Fitzpatrick does either. I’m sure he was stung by the trade, big time. That could potentially give him and edge to show Pittsburgh that they made a big mistake, or he could sulk and complain that he doesn’t like being used in various different roles like he did the first time he was here.It seems as if Iffy Melifonwu will join Fitzpatrick as the Strong Safety. Safety is another position where a nice young player will be cut, because we have a glut of young players with potential here in Patrick McMorris, Dante Trader Jr., who will be competing with veteran Ashtyn Davis as well as our own Elijah Campbell.
Then we go to CB, and this game will probably tell us a little bit more about what we will look like back there. Storm Duck and Kendall Sheffield will likely be our outside starting CB’s. Veteran Mike Hilton will be the nickel corner. It’s still possible there could be a change, because veteran Jack Jones might just steal a spot here. Ethan Bonner could also potentially end up starting, but he’s banged up now so we don’t know when he will be available. There’s also rookie NB Jason Marshall and the ever present Cam Smith, who I believe will have exhausted his opportunities and may finally get the axe. You can only be so patient, and Cam Smith has yet to thrust himself into a position where he’s got to be on the roster.
The WR group could prove to be an interesting situation. We know the top 3, Hill, Waddle and Washington (Malik). The depth here is uncertain. It seems like Dee ESkridge could make it, and you’d have to think Nick Westbrook-Ikhine should be safe, but is it possible WR Erik Ezukanma gets the nod over Ikhine who hasn’t really shown a lot since he’s been here? I know 3rd string Qb Quinn Ewers loves him some Theo Wease, but he’s a longshot. There’s also Tahj Washington, so there will be at least a couple of surprises. Not sure if we carry 5 or 6 Wr’s and again, carrying that 3rd QB hurts here.
Special teams will be the same K and P as last season, the decision has been made to keep P Jake bailey over Ryan Stonehouse, so that’s that. Jason Sanders had a great season and happy to have him back. WR Malik Washington will serve as the primary KR/PR, likely backed up by WR Dee Eskridge, if he makes the cut. Tyreek Hill will be used in certain situations as well.
We’ll see how some of these battles shake out tomorrow against the Jags at Hard Rock tomorrow. Injuries of course will make some decisions for Grier and MM, they always do unfortunately. I look forward at a minimum to hearing the home broadcast so we can actually hear about OUR team and not about the Bears or the Lions, Oh my!
GO DOLPHINS!!!

CB Isaiah Johnson safe so far.
He was at practice today.
Could Chris Grier do the unthinkable and cut himself today?
What cuts surprised you?
I was actually just trying to be funny and get a reaction! 😀
But to be honest, I still can’t believe we cut Mike Hilton. I think that’s the only cut I can think of that somewhat bothers me.
I don’t think we sign a kicker to the 53. I think we just sign one to the PS and activate him each week then cut him after the 3rd week.
Scanning the TE’s released so far who might be of help are:
Greg Dulcich
Jelani Woods
Jaheim Bell
CJ Dippre
Woods is like 6’7
Dulcich had the most TD receptions of any TE during the PS.
Dolphins still have 6 DT’s and 6 Safeties on the roster.
7 CB’s
Looks like our OL depth is OT Larry Borom, OG/C Daniel Brunskill and OT Kion Smith.
BOOOOOOOO!!! We’ve GOT to upgrade there.
With guys who were cut?
With ANYBODY available. I’m alright with Brunskill, but Larry Borom sucks and Kion Smith led the NFL preseason in sacks yielded with 3.
Preseason stats are nonsense. It’s practice and we go through this every year. Do you think coaches say I really want to keep the guy who sucks?
Borom is still on the team, so….
Kion started slow, but came on as the preseason went on, Borom looks terrible, but reports are the team wanted to look at what he can do and put him in unfavorable positions, that he wouldn’t be in for real games
IDK, just don’t be to quick to judge I guess
With Eich still on PUP and Meyer on IR
BBL…

———–
I get that, man. Just sayin’, if they are pressed into action to be starters, would you feel comfortable being the QB when they sucked in the preseason against 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stringers?
It’s after 4pm eastern and there are about 9 moves that still need to be announced.
Rasul gives us more options, if he sucks less than Duck or Jones he can help out
Hilton’s coverage skills weren’t good last year, he was the top run support CB, once they saw Marshall could give run support and wasn’t a Hilton liability in coverage they cut Hilton
the reason they wanted him was, because we were worst in the league in yards after contact
Cam Smith and Mo Kamara not spotted at practice
Cut? I think so, PS candidates
I don’t see any player coming or going that even matters all that much right now. Maybe we can add somebody after all the cuts, but I never put much stock in that either.
I think this draft class has a big opportunity to show they can be pros. Grant. Jonah. Phillips. Biggers. Gordon. Trader. I hope we get to see all of them kick some ass.
^
what about the future?
aren’t you a big future guy?
some of these guys we cut are going to be good pros
For this year I agree, a bunch of guys cut, that don’t matter
Report is Dolphins will publish current 53 by 5pm.
Additionally, safety Ashtyn Davis came out for practice for the first time since he sustained a foot/ankle injury early in camp.
Rasul can be good for us, if we play him the right way, that benefit his strengths
I really don’t see 2 outside CBs, that will start every week or play a ton of snaps, I expect we’ll use matchups, that fit the game plan
first week I expect to see Rasul just because (ego thing), then maybe Jones starts the next week, even if Rasul plays well
Adam Schefter
Browns released veteran kicker Dustin Hopkins.
there ya go
long snapper last year, after ours had his issues, we’re run thru the PS
we should do the same with a kicker, as someone mentioned above
Sheffield released, great news
https://www.miamidolphins.com/news/dolphins-make-roster-moves-08262025
if that’s the final cuts Cam Smith made it
also, haven’t heard anything about Bonner, so he must’ve made it too
at RB everyone talks about thunder and lightning, what about at WR?
Washingtons, and I think the 2 are interchangable, and NWI are kind of a thunder and lightning
Washingtons move you down the field and NWI is the TD guy, they should compliment each other very well
without each other it would be Washingtons are great between the 20s, but don’t score much, and vice versa with NWI
I see a lot of complimentary football about to be played, get the right guy in at the right time
MM can revolutionize the CB position by platooning his guys based on situation, opponent and scheme
Joe Rose: Rasul to the rescue
well no, just another guy thrown into the mix, to give us another situational CB
Really hope MM and Weaver figure this out
Tahj and Isaiah Johnson made it
seems like they’ve got a clue this year, Tahj was great in PS and I like the possibilities with Johnson playing S and CB
9 more roster moves:
CB Kendall Sheffield
CB Channing Tindall
OL Liam Eichenberg moved to RESERVED/PUP List
TE Hayden Rucci
OT Bayron Matos
K Jason Sanders (not cut) will be placed on IR with a designation to return to the team this season
LB Dequan Jackson
OL Braden Daniels
Right now we have TE’s Hill and Conner who will be ready for game 1.
Rucci probably to the PS and elevated for the games.
Not good considering Conner’s injury history.
Conner made it, because of the Waller uncertainty, don’t expect him to be on 53 for long
also expect we claim a TE
reading between the lines Omar asked, if Marshall is going to start a nickel, MM wouldn’t commit
Omar also asked about the vets cut, alluding to Hilton
don’t be surprised, if Hilton is starting for us by week 2
These players were released, are now free agents and don’t have to clear waivers. They can be signed right now by a team.
These players were waived and have to clear waivers before they con be signed to a team or PS.
Of the players we released/waived, I hope we can get back on the PS:
CB Mike Hilton
Edge Quinton Bell
DT Matt Dickkerson
TE Paraoh Brown
WR Theo Wease Jr.
WR AJ Henning
OL Braeden Daniels
TE Hayden Rucci
LB Eugene Asante
EDGE Derrick McLendon
Safety John Saunders Jr.
Conner made it, because of the Waller uncertainty, don’t expect him to be on 53 for long
———
So, when (if) Waller is ready, we will cut Conner leaving us just Waller and Jullian Hill.
Makes NO sense.
plus someone we sign from another team and you owe ne a beer
Conner is fast across the field, he can get open, hands are ok, but his YAC is worse than Hartline’s, he goes down like a little piggies house
he’ll have a couple of weeks to audition, let’s see, if he can cut it
Hill is horrible!!! Again, easily the worst TE room in the NFL.
hope no peskie kids come around and ruin it (PS plans)
Rasul PFF
59.2
133rd/222 – CBs
middle of the pack isn’t bad, but 32 x 3 = 96
How about the Dolphins NEVER, EVER trade up for a RB again!
That was only “G” rated. LOL
😆
👍
He’s hurt.
Still a lot of retooling to go on this roster.
We still have 13 DB’s on the roster (counting Douglas).
I am also surprised we kept 6 DT’s.
So we should sign every cut player under the sun? Most of us have been following this stuff for decades. We know more about the players than those who see them everyday? Seriously? Because they were on your radar from afar? I can’t take it anymore.
It’s like someone telling you about music theory when they really know nothing about it including myself. You’re looking for the worst and it’s a bad place to be.
I don’t get it. We are talking about improving the roster via the practice squad, not the active 53. I don’t see where you get we should sign every cut player under the sun from posts on here.
I think I came up with about 11 of our own we should resign to the PS. Your comments seem to say all the players we cut are better than all the other cut players in the rest of the NFL.
I think we only posted about a half dozen players cut by other teams we should go after to strengthen our roster. I don’t see where that means every player under the sun.
Tim – he could be as healthy as a horse, he hasn’t shown us anything, and even less to make it seem like it was worth trading up surrendering a valuable future 3rd RD pick. You can give Grier a mile of rope but he still deserves to hang!
To trade up and spend multiple pics on a number 2 to 3 running back is completely asinine.
That’s correct. If you’re getting a game changing #2 who will give you that day one year 1, maybe.
and how often does that happen?
None of us have seen the best of the best play yet.
Ok, so you trade up for a RB, probably the most plug-n-play position in the NFL in 2024 and give up a 2025 3rd pick to get him. He gets only 69 carries last season. What’s a fair timeline to expect this player to get some meaningful game action, and a good amount of playing time? He’s an URFA in 2028
I don’t agree with Grier trading up for an RB, for all the reasons you said
In Grier’s defense, he had Wright higher on his board than a 4th, he had an injury prone Achane that he was trying to get depth for (our O in 2023 was great when Achane played), the value was there to trade up
trade up or not draft picks are a crap shoot, you may expect every pick to be have great potential, reality says, if you hit on 3 or 4 picks each draft is was very successful, so his draft goal and yours may not line up
Steve – While your defense of Grier is sound in a vacuum, Wright was 4th string in September of 2024, and then 3rd string behind Achane and Mostert the rest of the season. Now he’s hurt and starts behind the 8 ball already in 2025 and will probably be passed by Ollie Gordon and once again he’ll be 3rd string.
did Grier know that would happen, when he made the pick?
bottomline is he’s got an RB to backup Achane (Ollie)
look at the entire body of work and don’t nitpick a selection
to be fair, and I hate Grier, early returns of the 2025 draftees has exceeded expectations
Marshall reminds me of when Zach Thomas supplanted Jack Del Rio in camp, not saying Marshall will be in the HOF, just the way things progressed for him in camp
small insignificant things from year to year are fading for me, could care less what draft pick in 2024/2025 was traded to draft some player, its about the overall draft class
Chop, PP, Wright and the Washington’s, thats 5 guys from a class, top 2 you can’t ask for more so far, bottom 2 same, for Wright when the OL was healthy early he was pretty good, we were all asking for more carries
to be cont on next post, not draft related, but tge overall succes of something
I’ve seen plenty of season prediction videos, the common thread being the nitpicking of or secondary or OL
You don’t get grades for individual units, that count towards the final score, if the front 7 lets an RB run 90 yards, only to have a safety strip him for a touchback its a team positive play
Our overall D looks to be top 10 again, there’s enough above avg to great there to mask any deficiencies from CBs
Douglas was below avg last year (PFF), but Buffalo’s D was really good again, Duck played a lot for us and we were #4 in yards allowed with no passrush
Of all the players we cut their guaranteed money becomes dead money even if resigned to the 53 or PS at some point. That came to a cap hit this year of about 2.8m of extra dead money. It put our 2025 dead money at about 56.6m or about 20% of our available cap this year.
pick one for our new kicker
https://www.thephinsider.com/miami-dolphins-roster/108120/miami-dolphins-injury-jason-sanders-update-kicker-tryout-eddy-pineiro-greg-joseph
It put our 2025 dead money at about 56.6m or about 20% of our available cap this year
INCOMPETENCE!! FIRE THIS FUCKER IMMEDIATELY!! He has been working in panic mode for 3 seasons now and has failed miserably. He has strapped the future for a bungled attempt at a “window” that never opened because of the way HE assembled the team. You guys excuses are sickening.
I wanted us to take Eddy Pineiro when he came out of college. 88.1% success rate not bad.
Things balance out.
exactly, unless you’re a chicken little
so not sure if anyone mentioned it
but Cam Robinson is an 11th hour trade I would love to make
https://x.com/adamschefter/status/1960313553174331442?s=46
a 3rd or a 4th should get it done
maybe it’s just depth on the OL but it’s worth it to me
Second-round pick (62nd overall) and 2020 fifth-round pick: Traded to the Arizona Cardinals for (Josh Rosen.)
2022 third-round pick: Traded to the New York Giants to move up in the second round 2021. (Liam Eichenberg)
Third-round pick (via NE): Traded with Hunter Long to the Los Angeles Rams for Jalen Ramsey. (1.5 year rental plus making him the highest paid CB)
2025 third-round pick: Traded to the Philadelphia Eagles for the 120th overall pick in the 2024 draft. (Jaylen Wright)
2026 third-round pick and 2025 seventh-round pick: Traded to the Houston Texans for picks in the 2025 draft (Jonah Savaiinaea, who most likely would have still been there because no other G was taken before our original pick)
Traded out of the 4th round and gave up a 7th round pick for a 2026 3rd round pick (that he will probably waste)
Grier presser coming
I really don’t have a good feel for this team, but I’m excited for the season. It’s always been one of my favorite times of the year.
Oh yeah, no doubt there’s some excitement there. You just never know.
Traded up for Jaylen Write and Bucky Irving was still on the board. (1122 yards 8 TDs)
Travis Wingfield
General Manager Chris Grier Wednesday August 27 media availability coverage thread:
Grier says the offseason plan was to get younger. Every year is different, he says, and that after a couple of years of being aggressive they needed to reset (going away from big spending and focusing more on the draft).
Cam Smith is going on NFI today, per Grier.
Grier says the Dolphins will be aggressive today making claims, hoping to get a couple of players.
Rasul Douglas will be at practice today
The Dolphins are signing Kendall Lamm back to the roster later today, per Grier.
The term “reset” was only in reference to the financial approach to the offseason.
Grier says the Dolphins asked Ollie Gordon to drop some weight and he came back 9-10 pounds lighter (back to his 2023 Doak Walker winning weight). They’re extremely pleased with the way he works.
Grier says the Dolphins made not of Jason Marshall Jr. in joint practices asserting his physical mindset and it really solidified the idea of playing him in the nickel where you have to get into the trenches/in the run game.
Grier is asked about his feelings on the roster heading into Week 1: We’re younger, we’re faster and it’s a closer-knit group. He says his relationship with Bill Zito and hearing the closeness of the Panthers locker room reiterated what they wanted to build with the Dolphins.Show more
The Dolphins are signing kicker Riley Patterson to the practice squad and plan to elevate him through the first three games and go from there.
best news of the day:
Veteran safety Jordan Poyer said this offseason that the fantasy ending to his career would be a return to Buffalo. He’s getting his wish.
Poyer is signing with the Bills today, his agents told Jordan Schultz.
Cam Smith goes on NFI list
and why he wasn’t at practice yesterday
Signing Kendall Lamm today
5 Waiver Claims Dolphins Should Consider
CB Jalyn Armour-Davis, Baltimore Ravens
TE Jelani Woods, 6’7, 253, 4.6 speed, Indianapolis Colts
TE Greg Dulcich, New York Giants
OT Esa Pole, Kansas City Chiefs
RB Audric Estime, Denver Broncos
https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/5-players-dolphins-should-consider-on-waivers-01k3maqtbrx7
The Miami Dolphins announced today that they have signed cornerback Rasul Douglas and waived safety Jordan Colbert.
———–
Dang, I liked Colbert. Hope they get him on the PS.
Per Chris Grier, he would be open to bringing back Christian Wilkins.
Chris Grier, at his media session on Wednesday, said that Cam Smith will be placed on the NFI (non-football injury list) today. The NFI list means the injury may have happened away from the facility and off the field.
As Steve said:
Grier also stated that the Dolphins will re-sign OT Kendall Lamm today, pending his passing of the physical.
——–
His back issue was the reason the Eagles let him go. So, we will probably sign him.
Flip a coin. With Borom, you get a decent run blocking OT who can’t pass pro very well. With Lamm, you get an OT who is decent in pass pro but can’t run block very well.
platoon them
From a Q&A with Lamm during training camp:
Q: You still can’t back squat? “
A: No, hell no, still can’t. So that’s what I’m saying. The progression is different. Like, do I still completely feel like myself? No, but when you have to have certain things, and when my nerve was getting pressed and my left side was going numb last year, that’s nothing to play about. But I got the questions answered that I needed. And like I said, whatever happens from here, I’m at peace with whatever happens.”
More from Lamm:
Q: Do you think you did enough to make the roster?
A: “I don’t even think about that, my friend. Whatever’s gonna happen is gonna happen. And to be real with you, I’m completely cool with whatever. This isn’t the first rodeo for me. This is Year 11. After I had my back surgery last year, I was just thankful to be able to come out here and actually be able to move. My body feels smooth, decent enough do what I needed to do. I still feel things at times, but it allowed me to see if I can even move forward with this process in general. To be honest, that’s all this thing was for me — this preseason and everything else. I told people in Miami after last year I was gonna retire after Year 10. But, of course, having it, not being able to end it the way I wanted to, I at least wanted to see if I could. So, like I said, man, I’m at peace one way or another. My life will continue to move on regardless, yes, sir.”
Q: How do you look back upon your decision to sign with the Eagles after offseason back surgery?
A: “It wasn’t necessarily that I wanted specifically go to a certain spot. I just wanted to be able to feel if my body could even do this. Philly’s great. Everything here is cool, but it was a deeper purpose for me to know if … I could deal with certain things on the back. I haven’t been able to back squat, and I love back squatting. Like it was a whole different grind for me to relearn certain things. So, like I said, my friend, whatever shakes, shakes.”
good thing we won’t need him week 1😜
Jackson will be ready to go
I hope
Dolphins RB De’Von Achane will be ready for Week 1 vs the Colts, per GM Chris Grier
Nice
Dolphins will be aggressive in adding players from the waiver wire, Grier said, and will add some veteran running backs to their practice squad
We saw that coming with 12 DB’s on the roster (not counting Douglas). Last year we kept 10 OL on the initial 53 this year 8.
Now, it looks like we are going to add Lamm. That will put us at 9 OL and still 12 DB’s with the cut of Colbert and the official signing of Douglas.
K Riley Patterson to PS
https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/news/breaking-down-the-dolphins-initial-2025-53-man-roster-01k3njm4zz48
Patterson joined the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2021, but was released with an injury settlement late in the preseason. He then had a practice squad stint with the New England Patriots before being poached by the Detroit Lions midway through his rookie season. He has also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Browns, Commanders, Jets, and Atlanta Falcons. In his four seasons, he has converted 85.1 percent of his field goal tries and has a career-long of 53 yards.
Where’s the fist pump emoji?
Wait until he makes one. lol
Sanders 84.6% career
Good interview with Grier
when do they send MM to ah, duh, duh…speech class
I am waiting to see if they sign a TE to the 53 and drop anther DB. Though, I am sure Rucci will be back on the PS where he can be elevated.
Also, I think they add 2 RB’s to the PS.
Adam Schefter
A late release: Eagles are waiving guard Trevor Keegan, who won a Super Bowl last season during his rookie year after he was Philadelphia’s fifth-round pick. Keegan is expected to be on waivers Thursday.
Practice squad signings start in 28 min
Lol
My daughter just took a job in Minneapolis as a kindergarten teacher this school year. I wake up today to the news that there’s been a shooting at a Minneapolis school. I freak out until I get a text from my daughter and know it wasn’t her school. I can’t remember being so scared in years. This is gonna be tough.
Sometimes I need a reminder that football is really just something I watch for fun and there are worse things in the World than having a crappy roster.
Hug your kids today! 🙂
Wow, that kind of hit home and gave me a little anxiety. My daughter is a high school teacher in NC.
AI Overview
The Miami Dolphins can begin forming their 2025 practice squad at 12 p.m. ET on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. While the official list of players added to the practice squad will be announced throughout the day, players who were cut and are available for the practice squad include Tahj Washington, Tanner Conner, and Braeden Daniels, among others.
don’t believe everything from AI
Nah, Tahj is on the 53
Same for Conner
read my last sentence
Those quick AI summaries are often rife with factual errors. They are just pulling together a bunch of internet content, so they pull the bad info with the good.
Mostly WR’s getting picked up off waivers early. None of ours so far.
DB Julius Brents off waivers Colts, the Colts changed systems was an early draft pick last year
Good fit for Weaver’s system
yes zone CB
Another big corner
similar to Isaiah Johnson
2023 2nd rder
none of ours were claimed
Martinez cleared waivers as did Estime
Chiefs WR Rashee Rice to serve six-game suspension to start 2025 NFL season
That’s nice
Colts claimed LB Chad Muma
Jets claimed 3
LB Cam Jones (from Chiefs)
OT Esa Pole (from Chiefs)
TE Jelani Woods (from Colts)
I believe the waiver claims have to go on the 53, not PS.
Now, the rest have cleared waivers and can be signed to the PS.
correct
27 players were claimed off waivers. Only one we were looking at was TE Jalani Woods who went to the stinking Jets.
We signed CB Cornell Armstrong to the PS.
TE CJ Dippre back to the Pats on their PS
Randy, my heart rate accelerated just reading about your circumstance. I’m so glad to know your daughter is ok, but it’s horrible knowing for a bunch for families it’ll be one of the worst days of their lives.
A couple of children under 10 were killed and a whole bunch more were injured- it fucking breaks my heart.
^
I think these shooters, if caught alive, they should not only serve life but in lieu of the death penalty they have to endure some sort weekly painful torture until they off themselves.
I was literally just thinking how I could get behind torture for this kind of crime where there is 100% no doubt who did it and what they did.
Unfortunately (or fortunately, IDK) these guys usually off themselves just like this one did.
There you go.
RB Jeff Wilson Jr. to the PS
wow!
EZ to Jags PS
Bye bye wasted pick
John Saunders to PS
we’ve had injuries galore, each time it seems we’ve been able to replace them
Kohou and Burns out, we bring in Jones, Hilton and now Douglas and Juju
Sanders out, we bring in Riley
Wright out, we bring back Wilson
this is why I haven’t been too concerned about the injuries, no stars and they’ve been replaced
then there’s Waller🤔
The Ryan Hayes experiment is over:
Falcons sign to the PS
Unconfirmed Practice Squad Roster (8 of 16)
Cornell Armstrong, cornerback
Jordan Colbert, safety
AJ Henning, wide receiver
Riley Patterson, kicker
Hayden Rucci, tight end
John Saunders, Jr., safety
Theo Wease, Jr., wide receiver
Jeff Wilson, running back
Fills the holes now lets add some better talent from elsewhere.
To make room for CB JuJu Brents on the 53 the Dolphins released CB Isaiah Johnson. He will have to clear waivers tomorrow in order to be brought back to the PS.
I like Isaiah, but he’s still raw, not sure why, with his speed and size he could be better
Almost interesting that none of those first 8 were any of our Edge players we cut.
Wilson, Rucci, Colbert and Patterson all may be active week 1
Bell and McClendon now on PS
wilkins was released?
We claimed a colts DB off waivers
….and don’t begins….
(Piggy laughs a sinister laugh)
Dave Hyde: Chris Grier makes his last stand as Dolphins GM
Let’s all hope so Dave, let’s all hope so. Fingers crossed here.
4 spots open
Uh, no, Jeff Wilson so 3 spots open
How many of these guys will still be on the roster week one?
Storm Duck
Jack Jones
Jason Marshall, Jr.
Rasul Douglas
JuJu Brents
Ethan Bonner
Only 6 guys? I thought Bonner was going to miss “weeks”
And is Douglas in football shape?
Glad we got Daniels back
I would look for another one of our edge guys and maybe another RB on the PS. I can see once RB Wright is ready, Wilson will be released and replace someone on the PS.
I am still surprised we still have 6 DT’s. I guess since 3 of them are rookies.
Watching his college highlights, he hits runners like a safety.
I was hoping to see better CB depth on the PS.
