2025 Season – Game 11 – Comandantes en Delfines en Madrid

A home game in Madrid! Awesome! We may actually have a home team advantage with more Dolphins fans than Commanders fans in Madrid than we would at home at Hard Rock, although it’s possible there are delusional fans who think because we beat the Bills that we’re on our way to the Super Bowl. Dolphins fans are some of the flip-floppiest people I’ve ever seen. If you’re insulted by this, then stop fucking flip-flopping! We hit rock bottom losing to the Browns and everyone, even the most absurd Tua stans jump of his wood. Now they’re beating their chest on top of the Panorama Tower in Miami like Tua is Tom Brady in his prime. Besides just gushing about Tua, they’re on the crazy train that this team is ready to make their move and defeat all comers and vanquish the AFC all the way to the Superbowl.

OK, let’s just gather ourselves for a minute. This is not a good roster, and yes, we’re probably going to beat the Comandantes en Madrid porque Los Comandantes suck way worse than our team currently does. The Commanders have lost 5 in a row, the last 4 by more than 20 points in each game. Without QB Jayden Daniels, the Commanders are lost. Marcus Mariota actually has a BETTER passer rating than Tua Tagovailoa, 91.9 vs 87.6. Put that in your Tua cigar and smoke it! There are just so many Tua fans on X that are beyond delusional. Tua is irrelevant, and the only reason at all he may return as the starting QB next season is because of his ungodly salary and cap hit. No one is trading for him, although I wish like hell someone would. Tua’s salary is also the main reason why the Dolphins may waste yet another season by retaining HC Mike McDaniel. That’s a big slap in the face to all Dolphins, even you Tua stans.

There’s a “Report Card” circulating around X that has the Dolphins as A+ according to NFL players. #1 in the NFL to the players in every single category.

Coach A+

Owner A+

Food A+

Travel A+

Weight Room A+

Treatment of family (Players families) A+

You know what? That’s great to see, it really. You know what else though? It’s time to get A+ rating from the fans by becoming a legit contender!

STEP 1 – At the end of the season, FIRE MIKE McDANIEL!!!

STEP 2 – Before the season ends, give QB Quinn Ewers playing time, preferably at least 3 games or more so you can see if this kid translates to a decent backup with starter potential or just a 3rd string QB that doesn’t need to make the 53 man next season

STEP 3 – While all this is happening, Tom Garfinkle and everyone who is qualified in the Dolphins Front Office should be researching, scouring the NFL to find our next GM. Once that list is finalized, they should begin interviewing these candidates so we have our new GM in place as quickly as possible to handle all the necessary steps to be ready for off season activities such as roster management and assessment, preparation for the 2026 Draft and anything else that needs to be done to be ready for next season

STEP 4 – Thank Champ Kelly for taking over mid season but let him know at the end of this season, his job is done and if he’d like to return here to Miami, it will be in a different capacity.

So, back to Madrid, where our Dolphins most likely will be 4-7 at around 1PM EST, or 10AM on the West Coast. I know some people are going to get excited that we’re BACK, and ready to be a Wild Card spoiler in the AFC. We might just see RT Austin Jackson and RG James Daniels on the field, and is it possible that with those 2, the offensive line will be better and complete? Sure, it’s possible, but it’s also possible those 2 are rusty, especially Daniels who missed tons of time after going out for the season with an achilles injury for Pittsburgh Week 4 of 2024. He played a couple of snaps for us before going out on IR (Imagine that??) in Week 1, so that makes for a lot of missed playing time and a lot of rust to shake off. We’ll have to wait and see. Austin Jackson was limited in practice so don’t expect him to play and James Daniels has yet to practice.

Los Comandantes feature a defense worse than ours, allowing 28 PPG good for 29th out of 32. Our Dolphins have a defensive surge lately and have moved up to #24. Hard to believe that the Commanders with the combo of Jayden Daniels/Marcus Mariota are actually ranked better than our Tua led Dolphins, Los Comandantes are #22 at 22.3 PPG while our Achane’s are at 25 at 21.0 PPG. Can you just imagine this offense w/o De’Von Achane? He’s the most impactful RB in the NFL right now outside of the Colts Jonathan Taylor. Achane has 785 rushing yards with a ridiculous 6.6 YPC and 5 rushing TD’s, and has an additional 325 yards receiving and 4 TD’s. He’s unbelievable, and he will an UFA at the end of next season unless we take of our 25 year old superstar next season. Thankfully, Grier isn’t here to tell Achane he’s “Earned the right to become a Free Agent”. Ugh!

I’m not going to discuss the 2 anchors, Former GM Chris Grier and current Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa. They are the culprits for the Cap Hell this team will be in for the ’26 season and beyond until all that DEAD CAP MONEY is gone from Grier restructuring deals and pushing money owed to the future when he’s smoking cuban cigars watching the games from his comfortable couch. If he gets another NFL executive job it will NEVER be as a GM, not by any NFL Owner with half a brain or more anyway. Tua will almost certainly be here in 2026, but once again, that doesn’t mean he has to be the starting QB if we have someone else worthy of replacing him. Tua is getting paid whether he starts or sits, and if you’re like me, you probably can’t wait for that show to end. No matter how far we get this season, I’d bet that when the chips are down as to whether we make the playoffs or not, good ole Tua will be there to let us all down, you watch!

I have not checked out Safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren yet. Just been hearing some rumblings about him. The potential is there and he’s a big safety at 6’2, 202 and runs about a 4.5 forty.

A mid 3rd round pick may be too soon for him.

    • bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Simple answer is no, 3-3 over last 6 games is most likely and 4-2 at best.

Even if they go 5-1, one more conference loss and they are done. You are not going to win any tie breakers with 7 conference losses let alone the 6 conference losses they already have.

BBL, BBM going to outlet to restock his flipflop collection. They got some Oofos on sale for $29 and some Reef’s for $23.

Markey- You on vacation, or staycation?

    • markeyh's avatar markeyh says:

LOL, A little of both…I might go back to work next week, or I might not. I am retired but still work because of poor planning in life, and failures running my business, so my SS does not always cover my costs.

I’ll stop hogging up this space soon. 🙂

Hope you can enjoy whatever time you can! I try to cherish every moment when I’m not working. Never know how many free days we have left on this sphere.

Bills at Texans this evening. Bills’ Offense just marched down the field like the Texans’ #1 Defense is a joke.

  7. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Woody Marks… what a name. Wonder if he’s related to the singer Richard (Dick) Marx…

  8. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    ER,

Are you watching the game tonight on Amazon Prime?

  9. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    DAYUM… Josh Allen is DOWN.

  10. ElephantRider's avatar ElephantRider says:

    M

Trying to watch! Keep getting pulled away.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Reason I ask? The first 4 minutes of the game for me looked like it was being broadcast from Mars via NASA. But the broadcast has been clear ever since.

Thought that was weird and was wondering if I was the only one.

  11. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Entering tonight’s game, the Bills are #29 in run-defense (1,530 yards yielded) and we are #30 in run-defense (1,569 yard yielded).

  12. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Bills have already yielded 3 (THREE!) 200-yards on the ground in a game this season. And if it weren’t for us (197 yards) and the Saints (189) — that’s 11 yards combined — they damn near gave up 5 (FIVE!) 200-yards on the ground in a game this season.

It’s like blood to a shark… that’s how ya beat the Bills this season.

  13. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Davis Mills SUCKS!

  14. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    TEXANS take the lead! 10-9.

  15. New Age's avatar New Age says:

Bills hitting the downward spiral. As a Dolphins fan, I know all about this.

  16. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Bills lose and still find a way to screw Miami. Because it was vs the Texans, it dropped our 3rd round pick from the Texans to #81.

  17. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

    “Davis Mills sucks”

    ——-

Well, he is 3-1 this year as a backup, mostly due to their good defense. That is what you want from your backup though. Be able to manage the game for you and not be the reason you lose it.

  18. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I think the Texans may be the most underrated team in the NFL. That defense is tough. Yeah, they are 6-5 but, 3 of their losses are to division leaders and the worst team they have lost to is 6-4. They have beaten the Ravens (in Balt), 49er’s, Jags and Bills with backup Davis Mills at QB in the wins over Jags and Bills.

They are 6-5 after facing the 3rd toughest schedule in the NFL.

I wish I had watched the game last night as the Texans had 12 QB hits, 8 sacks for 70 yards and 2 INT’s on Josh Allen.

  19. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Tankathon’s new 4 round mock for us is not bad and I would take it even though the pick at #11 is a WR.

#11 WR Carnell Tate, Ohio State, 6’3, 191

#43 CB AJ Harris, Penn State, 6’1, 184

    #75 OT Austin Barber, Florida, 6’6, 322

    #81 ILB Jaishawn Barham, Michigan, 6’3, 243

    #95 Edge Damon Wilson, Missouri, 6’4, 250

    #111 QB Brendon Sorsby, Cincinnati, 6’3, 235

  20. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

WR Carnell Tate will be a true #1 WR in the NFL. Him with Waddle, Washington and Achane would be sick!

  21. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

    On the other picks:

Rich and I have both liked CB AJ Harris for a while.

OT Austin Barber will be a good backup swing tackle next year and possibly be able to take over for Jackson in 2027.

ILB Barham is big run defender with possibly 4.55 speed. It will be nice to have him learning behind Jordyn Brooks.

Edge Damon Wilson could be a hit or miss type player. He did have 2 sacks in their game vs Alabama this year and all his sacks seem to come mostly in big games dating back to last year.

QB Brendon Sorsby has climbed many draft boards and added him to the list of QB’s I like in this range. He caught my eye early this season while keeping tabs on Cincy TE Joe Royer. He is a red shirt Junior so he has another year of eligibility. Though, he has started the last 3 seasons. This weak class may convince him to enter the 2026 draft.

  22. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

I forgot to mention QB Brendon Sorsby can RUN. At his size, 6’3, 235 pounds, he reminds me a lot of Josh Allen running the ball. Though, I think Sorsby may have more agility. Right now, he is graded anywhere from a late 3rd to a late 5th round prospect.

My thing with him is ball location and accuracy. He doesn’t throw many INT’s (22 TD’s to only 4 INT’s in 10 games this season) but his completion % is on 60%. May be his footwork or throwing motion, I don’t know. He struggled a lot his last 2 games which didn’t help his draft stock.

Also, keep an eye on #11 in the video. That’s TE Joe Royer who I like. He’s a physical TE at 6’5, 250 and runs about a 4.65.

  24. bailbondmike's avatar bailbondmike says:

Not many good college games to watch this weekend.

    #22 Missouri at #8 Oklahoma 11am ABC

    7-3 Louisville at 7-3 SMU 11am ESPN2

    #15 USC at #7 Oregon 2:30pm CBS

TCU at #23 Houston 3pm FOX

7-3 Pitt at #16 Georgia Tech 6pm ESPN

Nebraska at Penn State 6pm NBC

#20 Tennessee at Florida 6pm ABC

    #11 BYU at 7-3 Cincinnati 7pm FOX

I would say 8-2 Western Kentucky at LSU 6:45pm on SEC Network but I think Western Kentucky’s QB Maverick McIvor may be out with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.
