Dolphins fans everywhere are watching the games and hoping for losses for teams that are currently ahead of us in the playoff standings. I think that’s fine, if you’re 7 years old and don’t really know anything about football, our Dolphins team, our Dolphins Head Coach, and our Dolphins QB. On the other hand, if you’re acutely aware of all those things, well, I either admire your resolve or just think you’re crazy, or both. I don’t care how many games in a row we win, I don’t see this team as a playoff contender at all. I see the “In the Hunt” graphics for the playoffs, we’re at the bottom there at 4-7, but we do have a favorable schedule. It continues this weekend with our game at 1PM at home at Hard Rock against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints are actually worse than our Dolphins. Tyler Shough is the QB and veteran RB Alvin Kamara will be OUT so RB Devin Neal will be getting the start.
We’ll probably be running the De’Von Achane Show once again, until someone absolutely shuts it down, or until Achane finally breaks. If I asked you which player on the team has the most receptions, you might think Jaylen Waddle right? Of course not, we’re the Achanes, not the Dolphins. Achane has 54 receptions, which is 5 more than WR Jaylen Waddle and then 21 more than the next closest receiver, WR Malik Washington who has 33. We’re so ridiculously reliant on Achane, who I firmly believe is way important than QB Tua Tagovailoa. Achane is the cog that keeps offense going. Anyone can throw screens and 5-10 yard passes to Achane, and the truth is, the Achanes are only scoring 20 points per game, so any notion that this team needs Mike McDaniel and Tua together because they’re so successful together, I have to wonder what success even means. Right now we’re 4-7, and our offensive genius is managing only 20 points per game, good for 24th in the league. For some contrast, DC Anthony Weaver with his bad of unheralded defenders and rookies are now 21st in the NFL in points allowed. Who’s the genius?
Things I’d love to see this weekend would be giving more opportunities to both running backs Ollie Gordon and Jaylen Wright. They say time is money, and I say draft capital is money too. We used a 2024 4th RD pick (#120) as well as trading a 2025 3rd RD pick (#79) to draft him. If we have to watch Tua every week most likely this season and next, shouldn’t we try to see what we have in Wright because of the draft capital we gave up for him? I’d like to see the offense get a little more well rounded, using more than just De’Von Achane. I’m guessing Mike McDaniel doesn’t care if Achane is worn down to nubs as long as he gets to keep his job, so we can probably guess that it will remain the “Achane Show” until he’s unavailable.
It would also be nice to see our young players like LG Jonah Savaiinaea and DL Kenneth Grant and Zeek Biggers continue to develop and give us some hope for the future. As per usghe, I’ll make my weekly plea to see QB Quinn Ewers get some playing time, but realistically, he needs practice reps with the starters and and that will only occur when we either lose one more game which will pretty much seal us out of “In the Hunt” status. The other option of course is if QB Tua Tagovailoa gets injured which is extremely unlikely, not because he’s an iron man, but because he plays like a guy scared to get hurt and doesn’t put himself in harms way, ever. That’s fine when you’re up 3 TD’s but if you need plays, you know you can count on him not to make them to stay safe. Maybe we can use our TE’s and WR’s a little more too, let Waddle have a big game, and feed Malik Washington and Maybe even get Nick Westbrook-Ikhine some chances. It’s looking less likely that TE Darren Waller will play this weekend but very likely that he’ll be back next weekend. The Dolphins should be OK against the toothless Saints who have no offense with or without RB Alvin Kamara, scoring only 15 PPG, 31st in the NFL. They make our offense look like a juggernaut!

“I’d rather ride the bench all year than take the field with Tua Tagovailoa. That’s the dumbest decision I’ve ever seen!”
A Dolphins veteran reportedly exploded in the locker room even after Miami’s win over the Saints — a game saved by the defense while Tua struggled badly.
The 28-second leaked clip has already sent shockwaves through the organization, forcing Dolphins executives to call an emergency meeting as tensions threaten to erupt inside the locker room…
#miamidolphins#dolphins#NFLPlayoffs
fucking facebook Can’t read the article.
AND it’s ONLY on facebook…..
No legitimate news source or even other fan blog has picked this up.
Rock, then there is this:
“Bills claim CB Darius Slay off waivers from Steelers, per @TomPelissero“
and
@RapSheet
“A near reunion: The #Eagles also put in a claim for CB Darius Slay, source said, hoping for their former starting CB to return to Philly. But Buffalo had priority and got him.”
in his 9 seasons did he not accrue 4 years? Are these reporters retarded?
I know
Maybe this helps. Here is what I found on the waiver wire rules:
A player with 4 or more accrued seasons — a “vested veteran” — is not subject to waivers when released during the period from the day after the Super Bowl through the trade deadline. Instead they’re simply released and become free agents immediately.
During the season, once the trade deadline passes, the waiver-status changes: all players, including vested veterans, must pass through waivers if they are released.
Well there it is! Rockphin is the idiot! LOL
Nah, for some reason it took some digging to find the expanded rules. Most of the articles I was finding at first just said 4 year vets aren’t subject to waivers.
Well, thanks Kong, but when I call others retarded and am wrong, I need to fess up. I was an idiot for calling someone who knows more than me a retard.

I didn’t think we would be DEAD LAST
Facebook shmacebook! If I was on his team I wouldn’t want to be on his team. I’d probably shank him in the locker room. lol
I can’t believe you haven’t realized by now that you cannot believe ANYTHING you see on Facebook. IMO everyone should just cancel FB and forget it ever existed. It’s one of the worst influences on our society that exists. With it’s echo chamber algorithms. There is NOTHING positive about facebook.
I don’t care if it’s true, I just like that he doesn’t like Tua because I don’t either. I deal with the moronic Tua stans on X every day, they’re love-blind
Don’t forget to buy your powerball tickets today. $775M jackpot
I agree Minkah trade was good for us, should’ve been straight up for Ramsey

30 for 190 and 2 TDs, Jonnu was a putz for wanting out of a system, that fit him to a tee
Take Minkah for example, he was going down the last 3 years in Pitt, because as M13 stated he was out of position
Weaver has taken avg play at S and moved him to, elite play, nickel
coaching can’t be overstated enough, props to Weaver
The college transfer portal opens 2 January now instead of in December in an attempt to keep rosters together through the bowl season. There will also be no spring portal window. The portal has been reduced to just 2 weeks starting 1/2/26. Expect a huge amount in the first week as many colleges start classes a week later and players have to get registered and start classes at their new indoctrination facilities (lol).
It will be a frenzy of announcements come 1/2/26, but, behind the scenes, the work will have already been done as deals will be worked on in advance since there is no tampering penalty.
One month from tomorrow (1/5/2026), teams can start signing free agents to their 2026 rosters who are not on an NFL team or practice squad at that time.
Also on 1/5/26, teams can start to negotiate extensions on rookie contracts for players drafted in 2023 or UDFA’s who signed in 2024. That would be Achane.
lastly, 1/5/26 is the early deadline for college underclassmen to declare for the draft and that list is disseminated to all 32 teams on 1/6/2025. This is for underclassmen who’s team’s are done with their bowl games/playoffs. There will be other deadlines for underclassmen still in the college playoffs.
The Dolphins need to get this GM/HC thing worked out sooner than later.
Darius Slay says NO to Bills

Another stupid article by Brian Miller because the Dolphins never put in a claim for Slay. Making something up and because it never happened, it’s a win for the Dolphins. WTF??
lol
Slay probably wants to make sure the Bills are going to make the playoffs first.
Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for his performance in November, the NFL announced Thursday.
It is Achane’s first career AFC Offensive Player of the Month honor and Miami’s first Player of the Month award since kicker Jason Sanders was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month in December 2024. The recognition also marks the Dolphins’ first AFC Offensive Player of the Month award since October 2023 when wide receiver Tyreek Hill earned the accolade.
Achane led the NFL with 495 rushing yards on 79 carries (6.3 avg.) and three touchdowns, while adding 17 receptions for 135 yards for a total of 630 yards from scrimmage from Weeks 9 to 13. His 630 yards from scrimmage were the most in the AFC, while his 6.3 rushing average led the conference and ranked second in the NFL in that span.
I hate these awards, his price tag just went up
Dallas and Detroit tonight, painful as it may sound to some, it would benefit us, is Dallas won their division (we have Philly’s 3rd)
I know, dammit
Lastest forecast has kickoff temps being 38 degrees. We all know what happens when Tua plays in temps under 46 degrees. LOL
Are you saying he can be worse than he is now?
I wish Tua would miss this game due to an ingrown toenail or something. I never wish serious injury on anyone.
Then we can go in and beat the Jets with Zach Wilson. Beating them with their old QB would just make the W sweeter.
Tua will be fine, it now shows 40 degrees
any puss can play in 40 degrees, even Tua
thanks Mike I’ll stick with Weaver, he’s a leader and would keep the D intact

Thanks for the props, my Brother. Don’t know WHO made the decision to play Minkah out of his natty All-Pro FS/JOKER DB position in Pittsburgh, but that coach or coordinator made Minkah look BAD over the last two seasons as a Stealer*.
General Grief did very well, IMO, to trade Ramsey and Jonnu for Minkah.
Ramsey yes, Jonnu could’ve been worked out
Here’s a fact I just discovered…
Troy Polamalu: 4x 1st-team All-Pro
Minkah Fitzpatrick: 3x 1st-team All-Pro
Minkah is still 29 years old and won’t turn 30 until next November.
Polamalu: 8x Pro-Bowler
Minkah: 5x Pro-Bowler
And if ya didn’t already know, Polamalu is in the NFL HOF.
SteveCC you will hate this one then. LOL
shut Achane down now😜
@PoupartNFL
TE coach Jon Embree was not happy when Hayden Rucci was claimed off waivers by the Detroit Lions.

Meh
Joe and Bo discuss what’s gone wrong with Tua
Hey, Rockphin…
I’ve got PFF Premium as Mike E stated yesterday, but I’ve been workin’ like a mofo this week, man… you know how it goes!
Let me get back to you on Saturday regarding some of your questions regarding premium ratings. In the meantime, let me know what you’d like to see.
I’d get back to you right now, but I’ve got work early in the morning, I’m watching TNF (Cowboys @ Lions), answering emails, watching X (Twitter), catching up on the news of the day, and trying to fix something to eat before bed.
Aside from that, I’m not too busy right now! LOL 😉

Do any of you guys pay for PFF premium? I am interested to see where the Dolphins rank in this list.

29. Miami Dolphins (Down 2)Projected Week 14 starters:
LT Patrick Paul
LG Jonah Savaiinaea
C Aaron Brewer
RG Cole Strange
RT Austin Jackson
The Dolphins allowed nine pressures to the Saints, including three sacks and one quarterback hit, on 28 pass plays, leading to a 27th-ranked 78.6 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating in Week 13.
Despite the unit’s struggles, former first-round pick Cole Strange played the best game of his season. Strange allowed no pressure against the Saints, and his 86.4 PFF pass-blocking grade ranked fourth among guards this week.Best player: Aaron Brewer
Brewer’s 80.2 PFF overall grade this season ranks fourth among centers.
Tua eats sacks far too often, his pocket presence is Tannehillesque
THANKS MAN!
😎
Jahmyr Gibbs is a stud, but he’s no ACHANE.
These zebras are HORRIBLE this evening! Just WOW!!! And yes, that was CERTAINLY a safety earlier when Dak got sacked in the end zone!
It was not a safety. Ball was out of the end zone when he was first contacted by defender
Gotta run for the evening. Have a great night, Mobsters!
Damnit! I like Dan Cambell and am not against the Lions as they are a NFC team, but I didn’t want Detroit to win last night. Dallas winning would have helped our 3rd round pick from the Eagles.
” Dallas winning would have helped our 3rd round pick from the Eagles.”
Is it really that important? I don’t think so.
until the guy we want comes off the board the pick before we are on the clock.
Then he was not meant to be….Next Up!
They always have a backup plan if the player they wanted is taken before their pick…at least the good GM’s
Every little bit helps.
Besides there is nothing else to root for this season other than draft position. You just haven’t caught up yet.
I take one game in time and I want them to win, and I vote for them to win draft be damned. I worry about that when it comes and accept whatever position we have.
Interesting updated mock draft by Tankathon after last nights game.
12 Mansoor Delane CB LSU 6’1″ 187 lbs TACKLES 45 PASS DEF 11 INT 2
44 Caleb Tiernan OT Northwestern 6’7″ 329 lbs
76 Derrick Moore Edge Michigan 6’3″ 256 lbs TACKLES 30 SACKS 10.0 PASS DEF 3 FF 2
81 Eric Singleton WR Auburn 5’10” 178 lbs REC 58 REC Yds 534 TD 3
87 Domani Jackson CB Alabama 6’1″ 195 lbs TACKLES 28
112 Nicholas Singleton RB Penn State 6’0 224 Rush Yds 549 TD 13 REC YDS 219 REC TD 1
I like Eric Singleton but we don’t need another Waddle type WR. Singleton is actually faster than Waddle.
My reason for supporting the team and wanting them to win is that is the attitude of the team, and as a fan, the most important thing is to root for the team you love to win. (at least for me) The players and coaches have not given up, and that shows me a lot, and I back them 100% as long as they show the right attitude despite the odds.
Right on! Good for you. I will never tell you how to be a fan. Please give the rest of us the same courtesy
I’ve never criticized your position. I actually understand it at the end of the day we all want the same thing for our Dolphins to be a contender to compete on a regular basis for playoff win and a Super Bowl.
I focused on a regular season on weekly wins, and I worry about the draft and other things as the season is over because no matter how you project things the reality is, we don’t know where they’ll end up by seasons end
But for those of you who focus on the future, I truly understand
I root for them to win or else I wouldn’t be on here bitching during the game. lol
It’s just if we lose it is not going to bother me.
Not bother me for the rest of this season.
That is exactly my approach too!
Good post!
I am liking CB Mansoor Delane or Edge David Bailey more and more as our 1st round pick.
“I’ve never criticized your position.”
I’m going to point out one more thing and then I am going to drop it.
This statement is not accurate. You have posted MULTIPLE times about how “real fans” and “true fans” behave. That in itself is a criticism. Nuff said, I’m not emotional about it.
I view it as more my opinion than criticism
