At any rate, I cannot do our mock draft tomorrow night, due to scheduling conflicts. We had all chosen to do our mock draft tonight. I/we all made time to make it happen tonight.
I hear ya, that really sucks. I’d love to know what really happened, but I guess it doesn’t matter as far as getting the draft done

I’m just going to say one thing here, and not ruffle any feathers. I’m pretty darn sure it was a WordPress problem. The only one that was able to either post an article or a comment once the problem began was me. I’m an Admin so I was able to post, but no one else was. I double checked that comments were open, and even created a new blog just in case there was some issue with that particular blog. I have to say it was ironic as all hell that I got a big ad for WordPress on my Facebook timeline this morning, and actually, each time I’ve opened FB.
I was just late getting here. I tried posting for the first time at 8:20 without a problem.
I actually said no, that I was not going to participate when you guys were planning. I just happened to be checking in at 7 something and got dropped into the “New blog” and did not see people on the “old blog” saying to wait until 8pm to post on the new blog.
I didn’t see any issues with WordPress. I just saw the typical chaos of us guys on here not being able to follow basic directions like “REPLY” and then no-one really taking the lead strongly.
So I left. (after apologizing on the old blog)
The way it was supposed to go was BBMike was going to lay down the needs for each team, and then we were going to put our choice in the reply to that pick, then see which player had the majority, and then that player was the Pick.
Yeah, I read the instructions, they were very clear. LOL I just didn’t feel like participating from the start with posting the next rated player player as the pick for a couple of hours.
No worries. I’m disappointed we couldn’t do it, hope we still can do it, but will probably live either way! lol

This is not a shot at my group of friends here, but I totally expected the activity to collapse before the end of the first round.

After trading away wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to the Denver Broncos this offseason, new Miami Dolphins starting quarterback Malik Willis needs a new go-to guy. Drafting Tyson would provide Willis exactly what he needs.
This would be the absolutely VERY WORST pick the Dolphins could make! He obviously doesn’t know anything about the team other than we have a placeholder at QB and traded Waddle.

Connor Lew is recovering from an ACL but he would be a backup to start his career here so he has time. He is both one of the youngest and the most pro-ready centers in the 2026 NFL Draft (He is only 20 YO right now) as well as one of the smartest.

McCoy is a good CB, but he missed all of last year with an ACL tear. I would NOT take him at 11 OR trade Pick #30, #90, and #130 to move up to Pick #21 to take Olaivavega Ioane

The 2 things I don’t want to see, and both could very well happen. Taking WR and CB with the first 2 picks and taking a player with injury concerns like McCoy and/or Tyson. I would question both Sully and Hafley if they did that. I know it would only be their first 2 picks, but it would smell too much like a Grier kind of draft. I would hate to start this regime off the same way we left it the last 6 years, chasing WRs and CBs, rather than laying the foundation for a future championship run from the very start.
I’d be shocked if Sully does that
