Yeah, there was no way a top tier OL would be available at 30 with all the OL need’s everywhere. ESPN talent predicted 10 OL just in Round 1. Smart pick if he stays out of the buffet line.
Kadyn Proctor… the way I see it, he’s going to eventually be Austin Jackson’s replacement at RT, right? And with his mammoth size, he’d probably fit in better initially as a road-grating RG for our now right-handed QBs, right?
Get Proctor accustomed to the right side of the O-Line, ASAP, is what I would say.
Now, that probably keeps Big Jonah on the left side, correct? Maybe not, but probably, IMO.
So, in back-to-back drafts, we’ve drafted two O-Linemen early to play out of their natural, ‘muscle-memory’ sides of the O-Line.
Just an observation, nothing more.
I like the selection of Proctor, being we’ve addressed one of the biggest problems that needed to be addressed: our O-Line! Now that THAT has been addressed, we can move on to EDGE or DB next. As always, JMO…
