You can just feel the excitement, you can envision the future of this team. There is hope, hope because the guys running the show have a plan, a direction, and their first undertaking was remaking the roster. They started with 11 picks and finished with 13, and also did a great job signing UDFA’s as well. My confidence is high that we’re building things the right way. After being forced to strip down the roster due to the salary cap mess former GM Chris Grier left them with, they managed to infuse a bunch of physical, smart, good character players to become the starting foundation of their players. Now of course all the players inherited from Chris Grier’s team are their players too, but these players they drafted will always be special, until of course they come up due for new contracts.
We already have been told what the O-line remake will be at least to start training camp. From left to right it will be Paul, Proctor, Brewer, Savaiinaea and Jackson. I’d bet if you ask Patrick Paul if he’s happy to have Kadyn Proctor next to him he’s have a big ole smile on his face. Last season Jonah Savaiinaea really struggled at LG. Now I understand everyone on the line has their own job to do but when the guy next to you is a clear liability, you can’t help but try and help out and want to do a little more to make things easier for that player. Proctor is going to be a physical player that will move people off the ball, and I think that will rub off on big Patrick Paul, who suddenly won’t be as big anymore with Proctor next to him. TE Will Kacmarek will also add to the physicality of the line. He wasn’t over drafted, they wanted the best blocking TE available and took him. He has two hands, he will use them to block and I can guarantee you he will be catching passes too.
The defense will be really interesting to watch because physicality is important, but position flexibility is too. We have some players that will filling multiple roles, like LB Kyle Louis who can be a SS and nickel linebacker as well. LB Trey Moore is an undersized guy to be on the D-line, but he will be used in pass rushing situations. Michael Taaffe will be a core special teams player but he also might end up on the field as our Free Safety next to Kyle Louis. Taaffe is an very intelligent player, leader and high character that began as a walk on. Easy guy to root for, and really, I think all our picks were. Besides our draft picks this year, we have to see if we have some talent on the D-line from last year’s draft. Seems as if we’re going to be playing a hybrid 4-3, 3-4 look and besides veteran Zach Sieler, who out of the guys drafted last year such as Kenneth Grant, Jordan Phillips and Zeek Biggers show out and make themselves seen? Will Chop Robinson make some progress, after regressing in year 2? Will UDFA Rene Konga make the 53? Will OLB/DE Josh Uche earn a job as DE? Lots of questions and way too early for answers. We’ll see how training camp goes and once they get the pads on we will probably see things emerge.
As for the offense, I’m excited to see the O-line obviously, which has been such a disappointing unit save for Brewer and Paul. I’m not expecting much this season WR Chris Bell but maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised and he’s further along that expected and will be a big contributor. I am looking forward to seeing WR Caleb Douglas and get a look at what he bring s to our offense. We brought in a bigger receiver last season in Nick Westbook-Ikhine who is now gone, and it’s clear we need some size to go along with a group of diminutive WRs like Malik Washington and Tutu Atwell, 5’8 and 5’9 respectively. Jalen Tolbert is 6’1 195, so a little more length, but both Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas are 6’3 and have big wingspans to get those contested catches. We know we have one of the most explosive RB’s in the NFL in RB De’Von Achane, and with the added beef on the line in Proctor and TE Kacmarek, you’d expect Achane to be a little giddy right now. We added another physical runner in UDFA RB Le’Veon Moss from Texas A&M to compete with RB Jaylen Wright and RB Ollie Gordon. Of course the bigger part of the equation is how does new QB Malik Willis do here in Miami? After purging Hill and Waddle, Sully made sure to give Willis a few presents and we’ll see how all that works out. You can imagine the transformation from marshmallow soft on offense to big and tough now. Like Hafley says, speed slows down, big doesn’t get smaller.
GO DOLPHINS!!!

Chris bell is 6’2″ (6’1 7/8″) not 6’3″ not that it matters much.
I am wondering if Jaylen Wright will make the team. He has been such a disappointment so far. Especially after giving up a 3rd round pick in 2025 to move up and take him in the 4th round in 2024.
So you think the 1/8 of an inch makes a difference? Also, Caleb Douglas is 6’3 1/2, so he makes up for the 1/8 of an inch for Bell! 🤨
I won’t hold your lack of math against you, but it’s an inch And an eighth
and I said right in the statement that it doesn’t matter
Oh! FOIST!
Nice sweet Kool-aid post Mike….
I miss Dark Mike already. LOL
Dark Mike got old, I hated Dark Mike. It sucked having to genuinely hate your own team.
and sucked reading him, this board is more fun, with this version
Michael Taaffe is going to have to bulk up before he becomes a starter. I see like ZERO starting safeties in the NFL who weight 180-190 lbs.
Probably, he’ll probably be a ST’s player and he would also have to beat all the other guys like Lonnie Johnson and Dante Trader
Rock – I really do feel very confident that we’re headed in the right direction. W/L don’t mean so much to me right now, but how we compete and what the mental and physical makeup of the team look like. If we look like a team that teams won’t enjoy playing because we’re more physical, I’ll be happy to see that. I hated, absolutely despised how soft our team was. A lot was McD, and having a selfish QB who values his own welfare and bank account more than the team’s success also killed the team
I agree with most of this. I just am not as confident as a lot of you guys are.
You all are just hoping
after 20+ years of mediocrity hope is a four letter word to me
I am definitely interested in seeing who makes the team and at what position, etc., but I don’t have any hopes that they’re going to make the playoffs like some of you guys
Playoffs??? Playoffs???? You talking about Playoffs?????
I didn’t say anything about that, and I haven’t. I don’t think we’ll have a winning record when the season is over, but wins and losses, like I mentioned won’t be the definition of a winning season for me. I want to see progress towards the goal of being a physical team that brings it on offense and defense, can play anywhere in any type of climate, and looks like we’re working towards being a legitimate contender as we add more talent to the roster. One draft can’t do everything, but I as I said i think we’ve laid the foundation to be the type of team we want to be, and then after next year’s draft and free agency, we’ll be closer to being what we can be.
I said “some of you guys”
The Lollipop brigade
Everything is sunshine and lollipops.
There have been several posts this past week that included “playoffs” but I’m not going to directly ridicule anyone for the optimism and hope. (there’s that ugly 4 letter word again)
Tim is the only one I’ve heard mention plffs
and he said, if things go our way, like Malik tearing it up
as an outside chance I can see it, its however a longshot, with lots of things going our way
To be clear, I was not bashing the Taaffee pick, he was a 5th round guy, they usually play Special Teams to start their careers. I think he is a high character guy with a strong motor, but I don’t see him as a starter without putting on 10-20 lbs of muscle.
unless he Zachs it in camp or by default he could start
realistically he’s going to be given a chance to get in on some packages and olay STs
when you have a ton of rookies you don’t need to pay a vet to play STs only
WTF is everyone today!?
🦗
Work busy as “F” today
I too feel somewhat optimistic. When the GM and coach speak in public, I actually get the impression they know what they are doing unlike the last regimes since Jimmy Johnson and Parcels.
Rock – have you read Feist’s Book One of the Dragonwar Saga? I had bought it maybe last summer, started it and then put it away. Almost done with it. It basically brings all the characters from the Firemane Series and the Riftwar characters, so Pug, Nakor, Hatu, Hava, Declan and others all in the same series now.
no, I do not think so
I’ve read like 30 of his books some of them twice And I’m including the Janny Wurtz novels as well so I am not sure
I actually just had a moment, a small moment, of joy
I thought Raymond E Feist had passed away
I’m glad to hear that he is still kicking and putting out books !
like Biggers you throw him in the mix and see what happens
hard to tell from just highlights, what happened to game tape they used to put out? Need to see all plays not only best ones
This wasn’t necessarily a highlight reel. Ryder picks out reps from different games he wants to use. He usually puts some bad in with the good. Not sure if he decided not to put in the bad or couldn’t find any.
Senor nasty
that dude is like 4 feet fucking wide! Hyperbole, of course, but not by much damn he’s wide
are you going to continue with a polka?
LOL
I said wide, not fat
He is very broad
f I’m the GM, only way I’m spending anything in 2027 FA is if we make the playoffs this year
none of this Grier crap of spending big in FA to just make the playoffs
Rock – I could bring it to the Fest, providing we have one, and we both attend. I’m enjoying it, it’s pretty much the same fare as always, but the characters are good.
LOL
I appreciate that But now that I know it’s out I’m probably gonna go and get it before October
I hate that my speech text translator, always writes Gonna and wanna
I do not write that way, and I do not speak that way
going to not gonna Siri you ignorant bitch
I was saying I could see Taaffe eventually being a starter, not this season. Even if some of these rookies don’t start right away they should see some significant playing time.
^
that’s my hope
guys like Proctor, Johnson, maybe Rodriguez, and Bell (once injury free), these are the guys I think should/need to start
the rest PT is good enough, bring them along at their pace
Just gauging where the top 5 mock draft simulators have us picking next year.
1st overall – PFF and FirstandTen
2nd overall – PFSN and MockDraftDatabase
3rd overall – AtoZSports
Anyone have the updated list of UDFAs? I can’t find a site that seems complete.
Hey Noel, I’m completely with you in that assessment with Proctor, who absolutely looks like the ultimate swing for the fences type of pick. We do have to point out, though, that Sullivan’s comments about going for doubles off the wall and not the home run was in answer to a question about how to deal with players with character concerns.
Alain Poupart
some RAS scores for our draftees and a couple of UDFAs

Tim, UDFA’s
RB Anthony Hankerson, Oregon St
DT Rene Konga, Louisville
LB Mason Reiger, Wisconsin
WR Donaven McCulley, Michigan
QB Mark Gronowski, Iowa
RB Le’Von Moss, Texas A&M
EDGE Rodney McGraw, Western Michigan
WR Romello Brinson, SMU.Incorrectly announced by SMU that he signed with Miami, instead he will be a rookie minicamp invite with Miami, but not an official UDFA SigningC Jim Bonifas, Iowa State
S Louis Moore, Indiana
OT, Kevin Cline, Boston College
Actually, I don’t think any of them or any of the draftees have been officially signed yet.
I think former FSU QB Thomas Castellanos has also been invited (not signing as a UDFA) to participate at the Dolphins Rookie Mini Camp but as a WR and not as a QB.
I think rookie minicamp is next week sometime.
Miami Dolphins rookie minicamp is scheduled for May 8-11
Thank you, sir!
I miss George Carlin.
I met him in Lake Tahoe, spoke to him for about 10 minutes, best celebrity interaction I’ve ever had. Celebrities from the golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, job related
Joe Namath was another one, that was just as humble as they come
I miss having a consistently good NFL football team.
Jeez! Hope he’s more accurate with a football!

🍻
Ouch
it might’ve slipped 🤷♂️
let’s hope Malik throws footballs better than baseballs
Obviously that clip means nothing, but you would think if you can throw, you can throw, right? LOL
I know! I’m not saying he should be able to throw a strike (he should), but at least make it catchable !
put that throw on the elevator doors
LMAO!
Oh my…lol
Thank you, Mike E.! Love the montage of our picks…and agree.
the top row should’ve been all your Texas boys🤪
Agree!!! LOL
Totally different mechanics throwing a football v baseball…lol
The Willis pitch looked like a Tua duck…lol
OMG, frigging ball slipped out his hand, likely gripped it too tight
listening to HafSully I doubt we’re done in FA, the biggest needs I keep hearing is safety and Edge (by the unedge-amacated)my prediction
is we sign a safety, which means this season won’t be a throwaway season
hope it doesn’t stunt the growth of the youngins
Any of you Florida boys that live near Coco Beach or Cape Canaveral and would like to step out for some brews or dinner to talk Dolphins this week, let me know. Sun and fun this week for me at Jetty campground in my sister’s RV…lol. Great set-up!
2 good nights in a row for me NHL/NBA, Thursday Minn beat Dallas in hockey and Colorado in BB
Friday VGK and Lakers close out their series
+Edmonton out
You can clearly see the front foot slipped just as he was throwing it. He’s fine. LOL
Saw that
Great spin move as we have said but too bad he sucks vs the run.
7th round developmental project, let’s see, if they can Biggers
I have to say Sulllivan has pretty much done exactly as he has said he was going to do so far. And he said that he is not going to be spending after June in free agency He said the roster is pretty much what the roster is going to be
^
Yep…and kudos for that!
The Dolphins should draft the top quarterback on their board next season, regardless of how Willis plays this year.
Agreed….if they can. but pretty sure they wiil draft from the supposedly rich QB talent…
why?
are you going to pay the 2nd pick in the draft 10m to watch Malik play?
I don’t see a problem with it. Raiders are going to do it with Mendoza.
That said, I would rather draft Jeremiah Smith in the 1st and then a QB in the 2nd. It’s going to be a deep class and none of those guys are a sure thing, not even Manning.
Mendoza is heir apparently, he’s saying to draft a QB with no plan of what to do with him
you’d rather draft Jeremiah Smith, because you don’t want to waste the pick
how many times have 2 QBs gone top 5 or 10, and the 2nd one taken hasn’t been a bust?
ab so fucking looty
you don’t know Willis is the guy
The odds are against it
It’s such a hardship to have two starting quality quarterbacks
Not like you couldn’t trade one away for another first round pick if he was really that good
I don’t want a 6 foot one scrambling quarterback
I never have and it’s probably not gonna change
I have a very clear plan of what to do with him steve
That plan is to start him because I don’t believe in the current quarterback
You rep reply is gonna be well they do
My statement was I Think they should
i’ll bet your tickets into the game at mob Fest 2028
How many times does a third round retread work out?
I would love Jeremiah Smith, but if there is a QB they feel strongly about when they pick in the first, they have to take him.
Agreed, even if he sits for a year behind Malik Willis. After the 2027 season, we can safely and financially part ways with Willis if he isn’t panning out.
QB is the most important position in all of sports, and the Packers organization knows it. Sully and Haf are not going to just ‘hand’ the job to Willis… there will be top-notch competition to ensure we have a top-5 QB in the NFL.
First 2 UDFA’s signed. The 3yr contracts mean nothing. They go away if they don’t make the 53 man roster. We will only be left with their guaranteed money as dead cap. If they don’t make the 53 and are cut but get signed to the practice squad, their guaranteed money will still be dead cap.
Mason Reiger signed a 3 year, $3,125,000 contract with the Miami Dolphins, including $25,000 signing bonus, $175,000 guaranteed
Anthony Hankerson signed a 3 year, $3,105,000 contract with the Miami Dolphins, including $5,000 signing bonus, $5,000 guaranteed
This currently puts our roster at 75 not counting Tua, Chubb, the 13 unsigned draft picks and the 8 other UDFA’s that are said to be singing with us. So, once those 21 drafted and undrafted players are officially signed, we will have to cut 5 players. The international guy we drafted won’t count and we will be able to keep 91 players.
Chuck Norris cameos… LOL
SEE!!!!!
You can draft WR Jeremiah Smith with our 1st pick, get a good RT and still find a good QB in the mix.
2. Jeremiah Smith WR Ohio State
34. Darian Mensah QB Miami (FL)
66. Trevor Lauck OT Iowa
101. Jayden Maiava QB USC
140. Byrum Brown QB Auburn
152. CJ Carr QB Notre Dame
181. CJ Bailey QB NC State
227. Sam Leavitt QB LSU
251. DJ Lagway QB Baylor
IMO, it’s too far out to project what will happen in the ’26 college football season. So at the moment, it’s a philosophical matter.
Yes, on paper, we can get Jeremiah Smith AND a nice QB after.
Yet for all we know, this could be the ’83 or ’04 Draft all over again as it pertains to QBs. If we bypass a QB in round 1, the STUDs (generational QBs) may be off the board when we select in round 2.
I can’t call it, Brother! Too far out at the moment.
oh, I would definitely take smith at 2 and Mensah at 34! I think he’s going to go a lot higher though. I like what that kid has- he’s got that moxie too.
I don’t see us making any big moves for veteran players. That’s BS rumor mill stuff. This team is kind of set with the exception of adding a couple of preseason cuts which every team engages in. The competition is going to be a real thing because Hafley is looking for players he believes in, not status.
This idea that we have a roster void of talent is pretty naive. This team is loaded with good young talent. Just because they’re not considered to be championship caliber doesn’t mean they have no talent.
I can see our defense being ahead of our offense. Offense is much more involved with timing etc. and other than a few guys it’s going to look very different. Defense you attack!
It should be interesting to watch a very different team evolve from here.
We cut talent in order to reset our cap, and we’ve only had one draft to add talent.
I agree: we HAVE talent, but it’s going to take at least another draft for it all to come together. We may even make some noise in ’27, but more likely in ’28.
That’s not what I was saying and I don’t buy into time tables. I think this team may surprise us. This team is not void of talent just because Hill, Waddle, Chubb, Phillips, Fitzpatrick and Tua are no longer here. 15-19 with them the last two years, we can be better without them.
Krishna,
I have actually looked into camping at the Jetty. I was tenting, and discovered that wasn’t the way to go! How do you and your sister like it?
i was set up/gifted the opportunity…took it…works for me this moment and it’s unique…lol
I love the beach…any where in the world…lol
I’m more of an off a wanderer…love beaches…
Willis is more than likely not the answer. He looked good in a very short stint….like lots of backups can do. You usually see a different result when teams can focus on stopping them. I still think you need to win from inside the pocket. How many of these RPO or running QBs win championships? Any?
I make any move I need to figure out how to get the QB I like in 2027. I may draft one later too. Plenty of holes still to fill but that’s gotta be priority #1. Even if Willis looks good all year long.
yeah, I say even if he is a top 15 quarterback, you’re still use your first pick to Increase the chances of ensuring the future
Krishna,
Enjoy! It is quite the setup. I think it’s bigger than most towns I grew up around. Lol
better than most is a low bar to cross
that was about being in the top 15 not in response to bigger than most towns
Randy…I’ve never lived in a small town…but have visited plenty of friends and family in small towns…lol
Malik Willis is the difference between being competitive and relevant and being 6-10. But I want to see how we look in the trenches first because that changes everything.
if nothing else he makes the D account for all 11 players, its why Lamar is so hard to stop
making our OL look better than it is
Exactly
”I think this team may surprise us.”
Oh, Tim…
at least the effort and physicality will be refreshing
Just don’t expect us to look good early in season
let’s see if that physicality translates to the next level. I’m on a wait and see approach. I’ve been hoodwinked too many times with team.
we all have, but what else do we got this time of year🤔
Predict 7 of our top 8 draft picks start at some point this season, Louis + 1-6
and maybe even Kevin Coleman in the slot, and Coleman will have a punt return of 40+ yards in PS
having 6 top 100 picks and little talent can accomplish that
watching Chris Bell I see Andre Johnson, former UM and Texans WR
I like the Anquan Boldin compassion
I see that too, but Bell has the downfield stuff like Andre, that Boldin doesn’t have
2 downfield highpoint WRs is going to be nice, and then there’s Kacmarek
for have several receivers now to pickup 1st downs and play in RZ, hopefully their play transfers to NFL
and a QB that can extend the play
😉
Boston SUCKS🤣
We’re going to be a heavy run team. It’s not MM anymore, Hafley is a defensive coach. We now have a running QB. Control the clock and try to set up big plays.
so what you’re saying is defenses don’t win championships, defense HC do?
https://www.si.com/nfl/dolphins/onsi/dolphins-saturday-mailbag-jonah-jes-proctor-and-more-01kqmzxws0rc
I don’t understand why everyone seems to be so into post June 1st FA, specifically the adding of players to fill our biggest needs, as if we mostly have a roster, that’s ready to compete for plffs
6 or 7 rookies could be starting at some point this season, let that sink in a little bit, before thinking we’re 1 or 2 vets away from post season play
do you want to rebuild the right way, by giving the young players experience or the wrong way, by stunting their growth at the expense of the future, just to chase a couple of meaningless games
This season needs to be treated like PS, where the games don’t count, but they matter
but but but we have this third round journeyman quarterback we don’t want to waste
exactly
no patience
what do you think about Arch Manning?
if his last name was Jughead would he be in the conversation of being the 1st pick in 2027?
I don’t see it
I think what he does next season will tell a lot as to what he is. So far, nothing extraordinary
Sully has already stated the players he has will compete for the final 53.
There’s no more money.
June 1st money, 10m rookies, 17m left

I don’t see it
————
I’ve seen flashes of nice QB play from Arch, but with no consistency whatsoever. He was smart to forego the ’26 Draft.
We’ll see what happens with young Arch this season: I have no expectations… neither high nor low, just a wait and see approach. I’ve never been a fan of hype or perceived entitlement, just show me what ya got.
Que sera, sera.
Agreed. Remember he was essentially platooning with Ewers before this past year. I saw a lot of growth in his game towards the latter part of the season.
Yup! It seemed the light came on for him in the latter part of the season. Maybe he builds upon that, maybe not.
We won’t be spending big money on FA’s, there’s no reason to. It’s time to start being frugal with the cap, set us up right for the future.
I really dread this time of year in terms of football. At least in February, we have the Combine. At least in March, we have pro days and Draft research to do. At least in April, we have the Draft.
But now? Nearly nothing. Mini-camps and rookie workouts don’t exactly thrill me with nothing to be truly gleaned. And as many have already cited, nothing to get excited about post June 1st with our cap situation.
Yes, we’ve officially reached another doldrum point on the calendar.
we have the schedule release in May!
OH BOY! LOL 😆
This is the time of year I typically rewatch our best games from the previous season. Nothing about last year has me wanting to watch any of those games again, so yeah, doldrums for sure 😦
M – C’mon bro – There’s Mets baseball!! Who wouldn’t want to watch the worst team in MLB, also the team with the highest payroll (Because the Dodgers defer so much money) in MLB! They’re so enjoyable to watch!
🤣
😆
I think building a team means you scout yourself, find your strengths and weaknesses, try to find ways to build on and use your strengths as much as possible and figure out how to compensate for your weaknesses.
Hafley should have scouted this team inside and out before he ever took the job. I’m guessing he did. We’ll see if he saw things right or not.
M13,
Playoff hockey, man. It’s fantastic. Fills the void to see someone get hit. Lol
😆
Man, I just can’t get into hockey. I wish I could, but it’s just not in my DNA.
did you see those hits in the Utah/ LV game last night?
I can and WILL be tuning into 2-on-2 women’s beach volleyball! ‘Tis the season! 🏐
Before playing volleyball @ PSU, I used to play 2-on-2 outdoors on the regular: grass courts, sand courts, and dirt courts. I luv the game!
I grew up on Karch Kiraly and Sinjin Smith, watching them in the early days of ESPN.
Can’t forget Randy Stoklos, either.
I lived in L.A. during the golden era of beach VB, went to a match at Manhattan Beach, can’t get into it any longer
There’s no reason to go find and spend the money we have left on a veteran FA.
Go with what you got and play all the fucking rookies you can. What part of building a team from the ground up is confusing? Why would you stunt player development in complete tear down and rebuild? That makes no sense to me…lol

I used to play a ton of 2 man sand volleyball out at the Windjammer on Isle of Palms in Charleston, SC in the 80’s and 90’s. I was decent, not great being only 5’10 but good enough to always get picked up as a partner. One guy always used to call me “dig master”. lol
It was a great way to get in with the hot chicks on the beach. Naples would probably agree.
I played a lot of 2 on 2 when I was in the Corps living on Topsail Island, NC. Sport of the Gods.
I didn’t know about playing on Topsail. Wish I did.
they there’s a spot for him, if he shows in PS
they say
Kyle Shanahan on 49ers’ surprising third-round pick of RB Kaelon Black: ‘We had him as the second-rated back’
We both liked him. He was the only RB I had in my mocks. I mocked him to us at #130 and #151 several times. I guess I was a little off on the round. LOL
Gotta love the mustache!!! Lol….
https://dolphinstalk.com/2026/05/this-mustache-stole-the-miami-dolphins-draft-and-bos-heart/
We won’t be done talking about a Manning after Arch gets drafted. Will be a couple more years for Peyton Mannings son Marshall though.
https://x.com/i/status/2050175974969340405
Kid has an arm already
I saw that yesterday. The kid’s only 15 and can throw like that.
Piggy, this doesn’t mean you need to jump on the bandwagon!
While some of Miami’s selections were criticized heavily, Dolphins fans seem to be very excited about a pair of rookies – cornerback Chris Johnson (first-round pick) and linebacker Jacob Rodriguez (second-round pick).
According to FOX, Johnson and Rodriguez are already in the top 10 highest-selling rookie jerseys just one week from the draft.
we nitpicked the shit out of our picks real time, which is fine, just realize the overall drafted players outlook is good
we went from having very little talent on the team to having a decent amount, and maybe even plff amount
inexperience is going to bite us early, hopefully effort, a good QB and determination goes a long way to overcome it
I’m buying in, with no expectations this year, next year we can be a plff contender
if we draft Trotter instead of Rodriguez there would be no stopping me
but those two picks look like great picks in retrospect
I’ve become pretty excited bout most of our picks
but I’m gonna lay off the jersey purchase for at least another year
I like Rieger more than Mr. Max Spinmove. He reminds me more of AVG with his motor. Both were good gets, though.
Ryder isn’t the only one that likes Mason
AI? Not one clip of him.
GB last year 3617 receiving, gave up 3300, their best WR Daubs 724 yards, Watson 611
rushing 2037, Jacobs 929, against 2001
Was looking to see what we needed to do to make Malik feel comfortable
we had 3068 pass yards, gave up 3678, Waddle 910
rushing 2044 gave up 2251, Achane 1350
Not a big difference in stats, except GB got more yards, than their opponents
I’d think our O will be better this year, Tua was bad most weeks, the weeks the ball was taken out of his hands and given to Achane, we did pretty good, even vs Buffalo
Confidence is king, I think Malik has it now, compared to his Tenn days
I am kind of surprised the “May the 4th” Star Wars celebrations haven’t been cancelled yet.
I mean, isn’t that making fun of someone with a hair-lip?
Or a lisp
I hate paying players
Just watched an Achane TX A&M video, exactly the same as his Dolphins one
pay that man
^
Achane is the only RB I’ve ‘drafted’ who we actually drafted. I’m very proud of that cat! Pay the man is right.
May the 4th be with y’all… always!
there they are
The Miami Dolphins have released/waived the following seven players: long snapper Taybor Pepper, cornerback Isaiah Johnson, tight end Zack Kuntz, cornerback Jason Maitre, edge Derrick McLendon, inside linebacker K.C. Ossai, and punter Seth Vernon.
so it looks like we have a starter at punter and a starter at Long snapper
Kind of surprised about releasing Zack Kuntz… thought he was going to bring a ‘lil something. Oh well.
The Dolphins’ special teams unit consists of long snapper Tucker Addington, punter Bradley Pinion, and kickers Zane Gonzalezand Riley Patterson.
I’m rooting for the jets this year to win about 8 or 9 games, not ready for them to move on from Aaron Glenn
We also have to root for the Cowboys and the Colts to have good seasons- the Jets have their first rounders. They have three . My fear is the jump up and grab the QB we want.
Indeed!

NEW: NFL strength of schedule for 2026! 5 easiest schedules:
1- Lions
2- Saints
3- Bengals
4- Browns
5- Jets
5 hardest schedules:
28- Rams
29- Cowboys
30- Panthers
31- Dolphins
32- Cardinals
———–
Well isn’t that somethin’?!! We went from one of the easiest schedules in ’25, to the 2nd hardest schedule in ’26!!!
At least we won’t have to ‘tank’!
Awesome…thrown to the fire.
Yessir!
Those cuts put our roster at 70 (counting Tua and Chubb). We have 13 draftees to sign and 8 more UDFA’s to sign. Two UDFA’s are already signed and part of that 70. Those 21 players will put us at our roster limit of 91 with the 1 international player. On 6/2 we gain 2 more roster spots when Tua and Chubb come off the rolls.
I wonder who they fill those 2 spots with, free agents, more UDFA’s or bring back players we just cut.
If I’m a betting man (which I am not), I’d bet we bring back 2 players we just cut.
Oi… Had to order food in a Bills bar in Ellicottville, NY. Bills gear everywhere. I am traumatized.
If they are true fans of Bills, they should have picked up your bill. Oh… it doesn’t work that way, does it? LOL 😉
So much for that dream of owning a Kuntz jersey
lol
The key to the 2026 season is the LOS and QB. I think we’re going to be better than projected. We have depth and competition at every position.

Cowboys should be going to the SB this season with Caleb Downs, right?
Wow, the Knicks have been very impressive the last few games
MikeE,
Better yet, since Sully passed on Downs to pick a player he thinks is better, WE should be going to the SB, right? 🙂
Next year! We replaced too many players and have will probably have a much younger team
we saw the slow start last year, after the youth movement and we had more quality vets, this year with 13 rookies and 2 UDFAs making the team 🤣 we’ll surely have a tough start to the season
Hopefully we have a smart enough HC/FO, that they don’t put undue pressure on any of these 15 rookies and can bring them along properly
With the 11th pick we got Proctor, Coleman, and Traore
I thought Sully said we were going for doubles, with Proctor he tried to hit an HR
Coleman will be our returner and starting slot receiver by years end, his quickness makes him stand out
Traore looks like a good unpolished receiving TE, if its true (couldn’t verify) being an international player he can’t get poached from PS, then we basically have a free roster spot for a year
Randy – The Cowboys traded UP, we traded BACK, so that really ends that whole hypothetical. 🙂
Someone mentioned that the Jets have the Colts and Cowboys 1st round picks next year. They also will have their 1st round pick. They will have a total of 3 first round picks. That sucks.
let’s see what they can do with the picks, before we decide it sucks, jets don’t always draft very well
our D has historically sucked, when we didn’t have that 1 player, that made the saving plays
Hugh Green comes to mind as it was the first time I noticed it, generally its been an LB, but Reshad Jones was also one, and of course Zach
Brooks was the guy last year, including Brooks we could possibly have 3 of those type players this year, with Rodriguez and Louis
Some in the media believe our D may be really bad
those 3 players can also blitz, so if the passrush is really bad we can unleash them on the QB in big spots
I believe once the D gets settled they should be just above average, with a chance to be very good by EOS, while moving players all over the field playing multiple positions
It’s interesting that Miami has the #2- and #6-best-selling rookie jerseys. J-Rod is #2, Chris Johnson is #6, oh, and Caleb Downs is #1. LOL
MikeE,
I just wanted to see what it felt like to talk about the Superbowl and us in the same sentence. Lol
Randy – Do share, how did it feel? lol
MikeE,
Do you remember when you were 9 and your 57 year old aunt who smelled like lilacs and dust gave you a big hug that lasted for what seemed like 10 minutes and it felt uncomfortably exciting and disturbing at the same time?
LMAO!! That good???
MikeE,
It wasn’t very fulfilling.

RIP John Sterling
I counted and there are eight teams for sure worse than us (probably more like 14) there’s no way we pick top 5 next year
I’m pretty high on this year’s team. I think Hafley is a really good DC and his defenses will be good. It will take some time but I think we’re playing as a top 10 defense by the last few games. Willis will be solid most of the time and I think we’ll pull out 5-7 wins next year. NFL talking heads always stick to narratives and no one will want to admit that the Patriots are a very average team that used the easiest schedule ever and some really good luck to get past where they should have.
was going to post WTF is going on in Colorado 2 minutes in and no score yet, then they each score before the 3rd minute, before I can post
Hey y’all,
If any of ya want to watch some of our consequential games from the past, there’s a poster on YouTube named ‘Woodstrock’s Archive’. I’ve no idea if that’s the guy I once knew on Topix named ‘Woodstrock’, but he’s got a really nice collection to watch!
strength of schedule shouldn’t be based off of last year’s win%, it should be based on projected records for this yr, any way you slice it for now, we have a tough schedule
7 wins might be really tough
I think 5 wins might be really tough, but who knows. All that matters is our rooks getting their feet wet and becoming ready to breakout in ’27… that’s my take.
Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst in ’26.
they update SOS as the season goes on to reflect the current year.
Exactly.
doesn’t mean much once the season starts, because if you win your games your SOS goes down, if you’re 0-10 your SOS goes up and who cares what your SOS is halfway thru the season for the teams you’ve already played
they also do an SOS for remaining games, but that doesn’t give an overall view
The Warren Sharp SOS I posted yesterday was based on projected records for this season, NOT based on last season’s win%, FWIW.
So as it pertains to last season’s win%, I do not know where we’re ranked in SOS… nor do I really care. I agree with ya, Steve.
from what I understand its not much of a difference
