With our BYE Week upon us, it’s time for Miami Dolphins Head Coach to take a look at what the team has done over the last 5 weeks. The most obvious thing resides in the loss column, and that would be a perfect 5 of 5, or 0-5. Yes, we know it’s not ALL about wins and losses, but at some point it realistically will be. He needs to take stock of our positives and negatives. This is a good time for evaluation of everything, players and coaches alike. One thing I can tell you from personal experience, since I was at the game as many of our FMU people were as well, is playing at Hard Rock Stadium in 2026 does not equal a “Home Field Advantage”. Other than the heat, which the Florida sun provided plenty of, game time temps were above 90 degrees, the stadium was what looked like to me about 70% Cincinnati Bengals fans compared to just 30% Miami Dolphins fans. It was a sea of Orange and White, but Bengals Orange and White, not Dolphins. I understand that Florida is a huge vacation destination, but despite HC Jeff Hafley repeatedly stating wins and losses don’t matter, they most certainly do at the box office. You want to have Miami Dolphins fans stuffing the seats at Hard Rock, you need to start winning!!!
Besides having the youngest roster in the NFL out of necessity, we’ve already lost our best offensive players, RB De’Von Achane for the entire season with a torn ACL. In addition to the Achane injury, 3rd RD pick WR Caleb Douglas has been OUT since Week 2, so he has missed the last 3 games. Our second 3rd RD pick, WR Chris Bell, has been playing, but has yet to make any kind of real impact. How much of that is the struggles of QB Malik Willis, or the fact that WR Chris Bell who is a rookie is still learning the offense, and is still working his way back from last year’s ACL injury and isn’t fully confident in his reconstructed knee. I’m sure it’s a lot of all of the above. 3rd year veteran WR Malik Washington is the most targeted WR on the team by more than double anyone else on the team. Washington has been targeted 36 times for 23 receptions. There are 2 players with 17 targets, TE Greg Dulcich, and surprisingly, rookie 5th RD pick WR Kevin Coleman also with 17 targets. Dulcich has been far more successful at reeling in those targets with 13 of 17, compared to just 5 of 17 for Coleman.
Being at the game and sitting close enough to actually see the action, as well as using binoculars when I couldn’t when the action was on the other side of the stadium, I was able to see a lot of things you simply can’t see from a TV broadcast. For one thing, you can focus on what YOU want, rather than what the camera man shows you. A couple of observations I believe I share with my fellow Festers. One, QB Malik Willis is absolutely not seeing the field well. He missed guys open all day long, and was late throwing the ball on many occasions. Two, he always rolls out to the right to escape pressure. That just makes it too easy if you’re so predictable, that as soon as you get pressure the QB will move to his right. Of course the other issue is you almost only have to defend one side of the field because of the difficulty of throwing across the body to other side of the field. These are correctable issues, and I truly hope that OC Bobby Slowik goes over this and more with QB Malik Willis. The other issue with going to the right is expecting the weaker of the two bookend OT’s, Austin Jackson, who has struggled, to help you out by occupying his defender.
Looking at QB Malik Willis statistically so far, it’s dreadful. Willis is has complete 73 of 130 pass attempts for 849 yards and a 56.2% completion percentage, with 2 TD’s, and 4 INT’s. That’s good for a passer rating of 68.4. I think we all hoped he’d be. better than this, but so far, he hasn’t shown that he’s a guy you can build a team around. He certainly has the athleticism to escape pressure, unlike his predecessor who was stuck in concrete or chose to curl up in the fetal position and take cover when pressure came (QB Tua Tagovailoa), but it’s not enough. On the other hand, it’s five games, and he will have opportunity to improve upon this. Hopefully during this BYE week, they can clean some of his issues up, or sooner than later, backup QB Kyle McCord will get his chance instead. Signing Malik Willis to a 3 YR contract for $67M isn’t a cap killer, especially in 2028. If the losses continue, however, and we’re choosing in the top 5, it may be difficult to stay away from drafting a top QB in that spot. Or, we could trade out of one of those top spots and get more picks and continue to build the roster around a Qb, one who may be taken later on in the draft. As we’ve seen, 1st RD QB’s are quite hit or miss these days, and many of these QB’s have done better on their 2nd or even 3rd teams.
Another observation from being at the game, but one you can see from the TV broadcast as well, is our ST’s coverage SUCKS!!! I could easily just leave it as our special teams altogether sucks. We have been gashed for huge returns seemingly every week, yet ST’s Coordinator Chris Tabor is still employed. I’d like to think he’s on a short leash, because with such a young roster, having a huge weakness is special teams is just one more deficit to overcome, and there are plenty of other deficits on this team already. Let’s look at a positive. RB Ollie Gordon. I didn’t have this on my Dolphins bingo card, I’ll tell you that. Ollie Gordon has 47 rushes for 236 yards (5.0 YPC) and 3 TD’s. It seems clear that while former 4th RD pick from 2024 RB Jaylen Wright, who we traded a 2025 3rd RD pick to draft, has been a huge disappointment. Anyone here think we should just not draft or sign any player with the first name Jaylen, Jalen, Jaelan etc? Not a one of them has worked out well for us, although WR Jaylen Waddle netted us a 2026 1st RD pick (#30), a 2026 3rd RD pick (#94) and a 2026 4th RD pick (#130) in exchange for Waddle and a 2026 4th RD pick (#111) in the trade with the Denver Broncos. That very same WR Jaylen Waddle has 22 receptions for a whopping 228 yards and 1 TD. So far I’d say we got the better of this deal but there’s plenty more time to reveal the answer to that.
OK, so time to deal with FACTS. We are scoring 14 PPG, good for 31st in the NFL. Only the Tennessee Titans are worse, at 11.6 PPG. On defense, we’re not much better at 24th in the NFL, allowing 26.4 PPG. Add in that our special teams have been below average, it’s no surprise we find ourselves winless after our first 5 games. Now that RB Ollie Gordon is rolling, and thank GOD that Mike McDaniel is not here calling plays, you can say what you want about Bobby Slowik, at least he keeps handing RB Ollie Gordon the rock! To be fair, now that Gordon has established himself as the primary ballcarrier, maybe I’m giving him too much credit. In any case, it’s good to see the run game successful. This makes it even more difficult to accept how poorly the passing game has been. This is where we have to show the most improvement. If Malik Willis isn’t getting it done, maybe take a look at Kyle McCord around game 12 or 13 and see what McCord can do. I would love to see WR Caleb Douglas return to action after the BYE week, we need a spark, and I think a healthy Caleb Douglas can bring that.
I still can’t get the Hard Rock takeover out of my head. We can say winning doesn’t matter, but winning is the only thing that will change this from happening. If you want season ticket holders to stop selling their tickets, give them a reason to do so! We’ve played 5 games, scored 7 TD’s, recorded only 4 sacks, intercepted 3 passes, and forced 3 fumbles and recovered 3, 4 if you include P Bradley Pinion recovering his own fumble. I think the O-line play has been better, with the exception of RT Austin Jackson. Now better doesn’t necessarily mean good, but the bar was pretty low from the hideous O-line play of 2025. LT Patrick Paul has been disappointing, not because he been playing poorly, but he he may be worse this season than last. Rookie LG Kadyn Proctor has played well for a rookie, C Aaron Brewer is always good. RT Jonah Savaiinaea has improved to maybe below average, but he was piss poor last season, so we’ll take that, and hopefully he continues to improve. It seems pretty obvious to me, that LG Kadyn Proctor will be moving to RT next season and we will be looking for an OG to replace him either in the draft, or Free Agency, or both. I understand many of you think Proctor will stay at LG, but I thought as soon as we drafted him he was the eventual replacement for Austin, who will be a Free Agent OT in 2027, and if his play continues the same, that will be a surety.
Let’s hope we see a better product coming out of our BYE Week. Here’s to seeing players come back healthy from injury, and that we see a more competitive team. Last week, despite the score, we were not competitive, we just weren’t in the game. I know we closed to a 7 point deficit, but the Bengals were just cruising to victory. I’d love to see Chop Robinson become a true pass rush threat, our toothless pass rush just sin’t getting it done. Sieler leads the team with 2 sacks and there’s fan talk that we could/should trade him. Fuck that, not trading Sieler for a 5th RD pick, he’s a good player and a leader. Chop has been used sparingly and has only 8 tackles, after missing one game with a concussion. We need a helluva lot more from the former 1st RD pick. My goodness, Chris Grier may have been the absolute worst at identifying a pass rusher in the draft. Oddly enough, his most successful pass rusher drafted is Minnesota Viking OLB Andrew Van Ginkel, who Grier drafted in 2019 in the 5th RD. Van Ginkel has 39.5 sacks in his 8 year career, including 4 this season. We had him, but Grier didn’t keep him. Enough looking back, time to put our eyes forward to better things!
GO DOLPHINS!!!

Thank you, Mike E.!
I believe it makes a huge difference seeing the game live vs broadcast. Huge difference!!!
Well let’s just see if that dude fixed things here.
YAY! So far so good.
Does throwing the ball 10′ over a players head really count as a “Target”? Asking for a hopefully soon to be unemployed QB.
In theory, yes, just not an accurate one! lol
I love how everyone has to point out that Grier used a 3rd round pick to take Bust Jaylen Wright
Do you not think that it’s an important fact? It was a terrible move, one of many failed Grier Trade ups!
I did say “I LOVE” it. Didn’t I?
I still disagree with your assumption that Proctor will be moved to RT. I think they will keep him where he is.
We’ll find out next season when AJ is gone, because he will definitely be gone.
I think we’ll sign and draft a guy to compete at RT next year.
^
I don’t know if Grief was worse at evaluating O-line talent or D-line talent, or LB talent, or CB talent, or football talent in general.
Lol…truly
Congrats Bookman on the Brewers defeating the Dodgers. Sweep!!!
We already spent a 1st RD pick (#12) on Proctor. It’s expensive to sign a RT in Free Agency and you’ll have to use a relatively high draft pick top draft a starting RT, probably 1st and 2nd RD. You can get an OG for much less.
I think they like the left side of Paul and Proctor. I’m not saying we sign a high priced RT but an experienced guy and then draft one to compete. Doesn’t have to be 1st or 2nd round, we have two 3rds.
5 games in with this young roster and I’m really not concerned. Mike, I think you laid out what’s been going on but I’ve also seen some good signs from young players and it’s not going to look bad for too long. We have to go through this period. Didn’t we start off 0-7 in 2019 and then started winning some games and being a pain in the ass win for some opponents. I can see that happening with this team.
Fingers Crossed.
Looks like all the issues I was having have been fixed.
THANK YOU Tony Arcangelini!
ALSO! THANK YOU for getting rid of the “join the conversation” pop up that asked you to subscribe after every post. God forbid you accidentally clicked it! It would fill the inbox with every post and reply. I’m so happy that is gone.
NFL Team valuations are incredible. Stephen Ross just sold a 2.5% stake in the Dolphins, stadium, racetrac and tennis facilities based upon a total valuation of 12.5 Billion. Ross purchased the dolphins, stadium and surrounding land for 1Billion 17 years ago.
Well, give him credit for developing the property with all those sporting event facilities. It didn’t happen by itself, he has done an excellent job turning that property into a very valuable commodity. I wish he could do the same for the team!!!!
I just started a mock draft on PFN and I quit it in the first round. They had us picking 3rd and they had Cam Colman go #1 ahead of Jeremiah Smith
OUCH! That is harsh Fitz!

———
Tim, I 100% agree. I have mentioned before signing Rams starting RT Warren McClendon Jr. He grades mid pack in pass pro for starting OT’s and top 25% in run blocking. He won’t be high dollar but is much better than Jackson.
Then draft an OT like Lance Heard from Kentucky in the 3rd.
I approve this, especially if we go QB with our 1st or 2nd pick.
If they don’t go QB in the top 10, I would be cool with one of the 3 “blue chips” in the top 5 and then getting Mestemaker with our 2nd pick. There’s size and ability to work with, though I have a feeling he’ll end up being drafted in the top 15 or top 20 once we get to the combine. There is always that QB that shoots up the boards once we get to late January/February.
I’d be careful taking anyone from the Rams O, they’re possibly system players
We’re 0-2 this year with their odd man outs. I’m not basing my above statement on this, just think their O compliments their players and puts them in a position to thrive
That should not have been a reply above.
So, Rockphin Tradey Pants could not help himself.
18. Darian Mensah QB Miami (FL) A
34. Carter Smith OT Indiana B
104. Taylor Wein EDGE Oklahoma A-
138. Jamari Sharpe CB Indiana A
153. Cooper Barkate WR Miami (FL) A
181. Adon Shuler S Notre Dame C+
244. Dorian Thomas TE California B
2028 ARI 1st
2028 CLE 1st
2028 PIT 1st
Leaves us with FOUR 1st round picks in 28. (Which tradey pants will trade again for more future 1st round picks. LOL)
LOL, you definitely nailed it with the positions and 3 extra 1st-round picks next year.
LMAO! This reminded me of the guy that Tim used to post here, David Thorne
Oh no, it’s happening again. Let me try to reply again here.
LOL That’s funny
RB Jarquez Hunter went unclaimed through waivers and has been signed to the Saints practice squad.
Excellent write up Mike.
But do You feel like there is hope someday for Willis?
He can run and throw, but it doesn’t seem like the light has come on yet.
Thoughts? 🤔
Hello everyone! Hope all is well, but I’m watching the same Dolphins as you.
Is Willis ever gonna get his shit together?
Or he is what he is? Thoughts?
I hate to say it, but I think he may be what he is.
WordPress, argghh🤣 did this one go?
Its alive; lol
Hey everyone, hope all is well, or at least better than the Fins are doing
I know everyone is disappointed with willis, but is anyone thinking he will get his shit together?
We sure could use that, he’s rated like number 28 on most metrics
He’s making the mistakes of an inexperienced QB. He is just not living up to what we hoped he would be. Not yet anyway.
There are mistakes he is making that a good starting QB shouldn’t make and those mistakes have nothing to do with the new/young players.
Looks like about a 4 to 6 players could be healthy enough to come back after the bye week. Only 2 are on the 53. The others would have to have roster space opened up for them.
Mike E,
Good and thorough write, my guy.
Don’t yet know enough about the current regime, but for whatever it may be worth, I also see Kadyn Proctor becoming our next RT.
Personally, I have no dog in the fight as to Proctor sticking at LG or becoming our next RT… so long as whatever we do is SUCCESSFUL in the long term. All I know is that Awful Austin needs to GO.
So as it pertains to General Grief, we had three first-round picks in the 2020 Draft. Tua’s gone (and we’re still paying for him), Iggy’s long gone, and Awful Austin will be the next to go.
THREE 1st rounders, all gone to waste. SMH
Sup MF, I can understand that sentiment
However, I’m liking the left side of the line and center the way it is.
I feel like we have to address Austin Jackson’s replacement in the upcoming draft.
Six one half dozen or the other, I just like what I’m seeing from Paul, Proctor, and Brewer
I have talked about keeping an eye on Drew Mestemaker since he was a freshman at North Texas. I have watched how much he has progressed each year which is significant. I can see things he has corrected since the very 1st video I posted on him. I think he has a VERY high ceiling as he is still only 20 years old and will only be 21 come draft time.
He did have a bad 1st game in a loss to Tulsa but put the team on his back in their 2nd game against then #6 Oregon. He showed Donte Moore how to put the game on his back, literally with a game opening 78 yard TD run and a 11 yard game winning run for a come from behind victory. The play was national championship “Mendoza like” play leaping at the goal line, at the 4:44 minute mark.
The kind of funny part about the play at the 4:44 mark was at about 4:53 mark the Oregon DB #15 does a face plant in Mestemaker’s ass while Mestemaker is airborne and gives himself a concussion. You can see him laid out right after.
And so now that the Raiders’ previously sealed manifesto (for lack of better words) has been unsealed… was it General Grief who Brian Flores threatened with physical harm?
Did Brian Flores try to influence General Grief’s draft decisions?
That stuff was making me wonder
Flores was probably so pissed at Grier for not being able to do his job well

Welcome, traderdave!
Did we know you by a different name in the past? If so, let us know!
Hey, man. I cannot complain about the left side of our O-Line either, and with BREW as our Center. We can roll with Darth Paul at LT (he’s having a down year to date, that’s all… I hope), and Proctor at LG.
The key is to find a future RT after Awful Austin’s tenure is over this season. I do not care how we do it, it just needs to be done. It could be done via the Draft in ’27, moving Proctor to RT in ’27, or signing a FA RT in ’27. No preferences.
Regarding the signing of a FA RT? He cannot be an old FART. 😉
Btw Jackson’s a free agent next year, not sure if you knew
Yessir, I do know. That’s why I stated when his tenure is over. We’re certainly not going to re-sign him, and I’m not sure what we could fetch in return if we even tried to trade him before the deadline.
We need to find a new RT for the ’27 season.
Yes MF
I’ve been hedge funding leveraged futures so I use that email.
I don’t even remember the old name, it’s been 8-9 years I think!
All good! Happy to have you here!
GREAT slate of college games tomorrow starting off with #4 Ohio State at #5 Indiana at 11am on FOX. BBM is really worried about this one for his Hoosiers. I believe Indiana’s biggest weakness will be exposed in QB Josh Hoover. I think OSU comes away with the W, 31-17.
Other good games:
Florida at #7 Texas 11am, ABC
#16 Miss State at #22 LSU 11am, ESPN
Auburn at #1 Georgia 2:30pm, ESPN
#6 Alabama at #14 Tennessee 2:30pm, ABC
#13 Missouri at #9 Ole Miss 2:30pm, SEC Network
FSU at #3 Miami 6pm, ESPN
#2 Notre Dame at #8 BYU 6:30pm, ABC
Wisconsin at #12 UCLA 6:30pm, NBC
#18 Oklahoma State at #20 Houston 6:30pm FOX
Besides the Indiana game, I am really looking forward to Drew Mestemaker of Oklahoma State vs Conner Weigman of Houston tomorrow night. I want us to draft them both, Mestemaker in 1st or top of 2nd and Weigman in bottom of 5th or 6th round.
Welcome Dave! Glad you made it on here
Same!
Thanks for the welcome! Good to see you guys,
Time goes by so fast,,,,
Last time I was here, Ryan Tannehill was the QB, 😂😆
I actually liked him, especially the miracle in Miami game
Lol Mike at AVG’s (or as Randy calls him VGK) 5 sacks per season
Omar copying my article premise . . .
Once I saw that tarded slide, with no defenders in front of him, I said, I’m done, it’s over.
That’s total BS, he should have took it to the end zone imo
I get to see Arch/UT vs the Florida gators live today. I doubt it will change my opinion of Arch, if anything, quite the opposite…lol.
Mybuffstreams.plus
Free sports streaming, just have to open the link and back up a few times, then golden!
Josh Hoover with 2 suck ass throws to start the game. He is Cignetti’s first mistake since he took over at Indiana.
Texas up 10-0 thanks to a timely PI penalty on a wounded duck pass from Manning
It reminded me of Tua turndaballova, severely under thrown deep pass
I don’t know all that much about the QBs who will be coming out. I’d asked about Mestemaker a few weeks ago because I’d watched video on a couple guys and he looked like he had potential….and I thought he might be available down the draft a little.
That said, I’d guess by draft time there will be 2-3 QBs being talked about as top 5 picks and probably another couple being talked about as first round guys. 2 or 3 go in the first round most years. Would anybody be surprised if 4 or 5 QBs went in the first round this year?
What do folks think about this draft? Jeremiah Smith is elite…but he’s a WR. I’d struggle taking him first. Other than that…are there any other “gotta have” guys? Maybe one of the QBs separates himself but if one doesn’t….how much trade value might the first pick have compared to other years?
I haven’t seen a QB yet, that screams he should be the top pick
Jeremiah and Becker having rough days, Sayin too who I don’t think much of
Plastic surgery at its finest

Lol, she’s extremely viral
There are even Halloween costumes and merch sales
OSU looks like shit today, Indiana looks better, than I thought they’d look
Might have placed OSU higher, than they are
TX gets downgraded, shouldve lost to OSU, ref aided victory, liked the outcome
Have seen UM several times, think maybe along with ND top 2 teams
OSU missing Kacmarek 🤣
Sayin showing true colors today
Neither QB in the game is very good.
Mike, I couldn’t open that David Thorne like link. I’d like to see it.
Manning is way too inconsistent and hasn’t improved in the last 3 years.
Tim – It wasn’t David Thorne, just reminded me of it
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/HUrymmiX0AEQ1Gd?format=jpg&name=medium
I’m on the bandwagon now. My top 3 and only QBs I would draft early are Mensah, Carr, and Mestemaker.
OSU @ IU, last 2 minutes, I don’t understand what goes thru a front 7 defenders head rushing the QB
The game is on the line why are you trying to take the QB out?
You have got to be kidding me!!! What is it with my teams and the fucking toes out of bounds???? OMG!
Exciting game though. Two missed FG’s made a difference. Hoover with a lot of missed throws to open WR’s as I counted 7 in the 1st half. I feel bad for Nick Marsh though the pass led him to the sideline.
Yep….Arch is worse live…lol. Confirmed. I know some of you think he’s the next best thing. Lol…good luck with that.
He’s excellent handing the ball off and throwing -0.79 air yards downfield (screens), and hoping there’s a flag on a terrible pass…and getting it…lol
Sarkisian has done a terrible job developing him…I thought he was a better coach at that…not from what I can tell
Sarkisian made several questionable calls, imo. Lol…wtf do I know?
BBM,
I see our guy WR Charlie Becker had another outstanding game.
He should have had over 200 yards receiving but Josh Hover missed him wide open 4 times and under threw him a couple times.
Ohio State’s freshman WR Chris Henry Jr is in fact the son of the late former Bengals’ WR. Pacman Jones(!) adopted him, and has raised him to NOT be like the Pacman Jones of the past (making it ‘rain’ in a strip club).
Great story there! Happy to see Pacman Jones has finally grown up and has been a strong father-figure for the young and fatherless Chris Henry.
I’ve always enjoyed a redemption arc!!!
Julian Sayin’s first INT should have been called DPI: Jeremiah Smith was hit before the pass even got there.
Too close to call in live speed. Slow motion you can see he got there a tick early.
The refs left them play today because OSU DB’s were getting away with a lot of grabbing and holding.
Sayin was bad today. Now he’s going to be out for a few games.
Yup!
To have enduring success in the modern NFL, I think the QB needs to be 6’3″+ (to see over the O-Line), 220 pounds+ (to endure hits), and the ability to scramble (keeping plays alive)… if not the ability to be a running threat.
If we can find a future QB who checks all of these boxes, he’s worthy of investment, IMO… even as a project.
For instance, my man Byrum Brown just might upset #1 Georgia today!
Don’t get it twisted, he’s a PROJECT QB at the next level. But if he can be taught properly, he could become incredible.
As is, Byrum Brown might be a late day 3 selection. He’s not had a great season in his introduction to the SEC.
What you talkin bout Malik?
2 minutes left in Ga Auburn game
And it’s tied
Are you sure you aren’t in that special society, that knows things before the rest of us Nostradamus?
Completely disagree, Arch is the perfect example….complete waste of draft pick, but checks your boxes…lol

One of the funniest things I’ve ever read!!! 😆
😂
I’m excited about what’s to come from Ollie, he can play. I don’t see him all of a sudden struggling. He’s got some gittyup to him.
Yeah, you block for him, he can get it done
All day I’ve been watching punters bombing punts, everytime tge returner fair catches it. I don’t get it. In the NFL they make you pay for outpunting your coverage
How about them VOLS!!!!!!

LOL, sometimes I just get lucky seeing the matchups. Even so, I would never gamble.
I wouldn’t gamble on the midterm elections, either. Screw the polling data, just get out there and vote, to preserve our Constitutional (democratic) Republic!

LOL, one can check all the boxes… but if he sucks, he SUCKS!
Seriously, do you really think I’d advocate for a QB who sucks… even if he meets the prerequisite criteria I spoke about? C’MON, MAN! The fuck.
Big INT for Mensah, his first of the season
Bad decision on the throw also
I am watching the Miami game on TV and OSU vs Houston on the computer.
Weigman looking good
Anyone else watching Oklahoma State vs Houston?
Lets see if Mensah can put the team on his back in a tough game.
Why didn’t Oklahoma State got for 2 to make it 21-18. I know it is still early.
That’s why, its early. Points are so important even late
Was that Mensah or all Toney?
I would say both
Weigman with the legs!
Duce!
Duce!
Weigman is on fire!!
I don’t believe what I saw at the end of the Miami game
4th and 21 in 2nd OT hail Mary answered for FSU, holding though on FSU, then 4th and 31 another hail Mary was intercepted, but was close to a simultaneous catch TD
the U won by 8 having to go for 2 in 2nd OT
Yeah, Crazy ending
Notre Dame behind. Miami might be the new #1.
Crazy day, 5 of the top 7 teams lost. Only Ohio St and Miami survive…
Yeah, no reason Miami shouldn’t be the new #1 but who knows.
Miami should be the #1 but they had a terrible game against a very average FSU. I know it’s ‘the rivalry’ and a week full of upsets but that final play was probably a TD catch with most ref teams. That’s as a Miami fan. Louisville and Bama obliterated FSU.
Mestemaker was outplayed by Weigman, Carr had a terrible game, as well as Mensah not having a great game for two straight weeks. The season should give us some top options by the end of the year, but all will have bad games.
When you have Malachi Toney, he tends to make you look good every week. 42% of Mensah’s yards are to Toney. and he’s caught 20 more passes than any other player on the team. Mensah is a much better player than Beck was, and it has translated so far but this team has some big holes and is a weak #1. At least this early in the season. I felt last year’s team could play with anyone and would only be held back by Beck, which is what happened. This overall team seems weaker so far. Maybe I’m expecting too much.
I agree.
I think Weigman has vaulted his draft stock to an early day 2 I’m afraid. He keeps playing like this, it will be nothing but 1st round talk.
It’s funny . . . I think of the vitriol Dolphins fans had about Stephen Ross signing on for us to play NFL games overseas and then in doing so, forfeiting a home game. “We’re losing our Home Field Advantage!!” We have the 2026 Fest at Hard Rock Stadium on a hot steamy 90 degree football Sunday, and that was the extent of the so called “Home Field Advantage”. 70% or more Cincinnati Bengals fans vs 30% or less Miami Dolphins fans.
Don’t look now, but the Titans just may upset the Colts!
Titans win!
We’re officially in the driver’s seat for R1P1 of the ’27 NFL Draft!
Oops! Forgot about the Chargers still being winless.
GO CHARGERS!
Get the win against the undefeated 49ers!!!
Er, the Chefs*!
Justin Herbert just sailed a pass into the back of his O-Lineman’s helmet. That’s pretty impressive! LOL
Herbert with another INT… damn near a pick-6.
Mahomes intercepted in the end zone by Cam Hart!

Happy Birthday BBMike ✌️🐬🇺🇸
Happy B-Day, BBM! Make it a great one, man.
Hate to say it, but the Chefs* are going deep in the playoffs this season. Wouldn’t surprise me to see them back in the Super Bowl this season. That is, barring key injuries, of course.
Sucks we have our bye on BBM’s birthday, I like having the birthday mojo working for us.
I know, it’s worked in the past. lol
Something I think I know: in the event the Chargers get R1P1, they’ll be selecting WR Jeremiah Smith… granted they don’t trade out of R1P1. JMO
100%
It’s good that N.O., Arizona, and Houston all got their 2nd win today. With Tennessee getting their 1st, only the Chargers and TB crapped the bed today. LOL
Go Redskins tomorrow night.
Happy Birthday BBMike!!
Happy Birthday BBMike!!!
Happy Birthday, BBM!
Thanks for the B-day wishes!
For those who wanted to draft Edge Rueben Bain, he finally got his first sack in week 6. He now has 6 tackles, 2 solo and 1 sack on the season.
However, those who wanted to draft Edge David Bailey (M13), through 6 games he has 30 tackles, 18 solo, 5 sacks and 3 forced fumbles.
We will see David Bailey next week when we go to NY.
I’m already cringing to think what David Bailey could do to us next week.
Happy Birthday BBM! Hope you’re enjoying your day!
🥳🎁🎂
Thanks Herd! Meh, I slept all day and have to leave for work in another hour. lol It is #62 though.
Justin Herbert looks like rookie Tanny with all of his passes being batted down at the LOS. WTF?!!
Looks like the Chargers will lose again. That puts us at #2 overall. Tankathon with that pick has us taking:
#2 Drew Mestemaker QB Oklahoma State
#33 Nick Marsh WR Indiana
#66 John Henry Daley Edge Michigan
Might be a little early for Daley but I think I like it. I like Daley as a later 3rd or early 4th. I have said several times, Nick Marsh is a stud. Maybe even better overall than his teammate Charlie Becker.
Give us Clev Lubin at #66, and that’s not a bad first 3 picks.
^^^
I can still think of a couple OT’s to take at #104
Crazy to believe but Jeremiah Smith is not the NCAA leading receiver.
Keep an eye on the college transfer portal for Oregon State true freshman WR Jesse Legree. He caught my eye in his 2nd ever college game vs #13 Texas Tech where he caught 8 passes for 240 yards and 2 TD’s. Through 7 games, he has not had under 100 yards receiving in a game or caught at least 1 TD in a game. He has 46 rec for 1,040 yards and 14 TD’s so far. I haven’t mentioned him as he is a freshman but also 5’10, 175. He is like Malachi Toney from Miami.
Their QB is very solid also, a true sophomore. Haven’t mentioned him before either as he is only 6’1 but dude looks really good.
Damn, Raiders almost pulled it off.
We didn’t have a shot at Bailey though
