Perhaps the greatest accomplishment this new blog has succeeded in is eliminating the need for a character to have a space between paragraphs. It’s the small things that really matter most in the end.
Draft season is here. We will breakdown just about everybody (except the guys we usually draft) project picks, campaign for players, campaign against players.
Free Agency will open soon to give us a better indication of where the Dolphins may go. Do you we spend BIG? Do you we take a more conservative approach? Let’s all figure it together.
We want you to consider this blog, as related to Sun Life Stadium, the newly renovated blog, the blog with the gigantic umbrella if you will.
This site, my friends, was built by a team of willing and contributing people who like you simply love to chat about our beloved Dolphins.
Welcome and enjoy!

lol @ mike e.
but somehow i dont think top is anyone’s posse
if walker does show up i hope piggy has one of these
LMMFAO!
2015 draft to be held in Chicago on April 30 to May 2
Guardians of the Galaxy was great. Awesome sound track to the movie as well.
mike
guardians was actually pretty damn good. but so was that denzel movie.
Thank you Manitoba. Who needs Google. Take that FFR. LOL.
np.. i do what i can lol
Okay guys, I’m out for the night. Thanks to all who set this up, you do a really nice job.
did
Have good One Brian, good ta see yagin..
LMAO @ FFR’s throat protector.
ken,
that may have been why the movie was so great. the soundtrack.
Agreed. It was awesome. Movie was really good in it’s own right but great choice of 70s and 80s tunes to really turn it up a notch imo.
I have to call it a night as well. Have to be in court early tomorrow. I am out but good to see everyone again. Peace to you all.
I’m not as fancy as that, I’m just going to my classroom.
LMAO @ FFR!
Goodnight Bri, Ken
i wonder by you guys and herd creating this site. which by the way is just absolutely fucking fantastic.
but once every one moves over, i wonder how many personalities david will become just to keep walker entertained.
I don’t care for a few people, but I can be pleasant. There are at least 3 people from there I will not be conversing with again, however.
That’s all good and I feel the same way. Glad to see you hear and with that I am out. Peace.
later Ken.. dont go away mad….
Piggy can think Steve Yeager for that piece of apparatus.
lol@FFRob
I better buy some equipment
Well we plan to invite everyone
And see how everyone behaves from there
I think some people might just voluntarily go there own way
Did you say EVERYONE?
Everyone from the old blog is what I mean
try
i am pretty sure i know who they are. and i ignored them on there as well. i just think it is the right thing to do to allow them to post if they wont too. i am glad that was the decision.
You are right, of course. I am in no way saying who should or should not be invited. I’m just saying that certain things were done and said by some that I cannot look past in good conscience.
I also don’t miss conspiracy talk, but that just might be me.

Yeah, it was, but SOTL was still very scary
The only Movie that kinda freaked me out was “the Ring”… Loved it.. don’t usually enjoy horror flicks, but that one was kinda cool and freaky..
Try
Totally understand. I wouldn’t be surprised if a those people never post here. Maybe a day or two, but I expect them to flock back to their own blog.
Manitoba
Was that where the chick crawls out of the TV?
Sure was…
The girl i was living with at the time had just dyed her hair from brown to jet black two days before we saw it, .. for the next week she was freaked out every time she walked past a mirror..
piggy
i agree with you there. i dont think a few will come over. but you all made the right decision
3-0 woohoo
Manitoba – That was freaky, but SOTL had me on the edge of my seat at times, and it was well thought out, and well done.
i did enjoy that one too, but more for the suspense.. it didn’t really freak me out too much..
Gotcha. House of 1000 Corpses, and pretty much any Rob Zombie movie will freak you out.
13 ghosts ?? i think that’s another that i laffed my face off at, thoroughly enjoyed it too..
LMAO @ Manitoba! That’s great
The Grudge was kinda freaky.
Silence of the Lambs was very well done. I actually liked the original “Red Dragon” done in the 80s with Brian Cox as Lecter.called “Manhunter”. Very “Miami Vice”
That was a good one. William Peterson played the detective.
That’s right. I liked it. Girl with the Dragon tattoo was suspenseful.
i think i saw the Grudge just because the girl looked like the one from the Ring.. dont remember ti so it mustn’t have done much for me..
The Vanishing was a disturbing movie
i liked Vanishing Point.. Was a terrible waste of a nice car though..
ok i am out everyone. great job admin crew. i for one am very thankful. night all
Have a good one Rob..
Goodnight FFR
Why are the separation thoughts starting again? Post where and with who you want. You don’t have to meet up with people you don’t like either. You don’t have to be personal with everyone you meet.
Not really separation thoughts. I just think Walker and his crew might come here a day, maybe two, but then will go back to his own blog. It’s far from a reach to think that. He did that on his own blog.
To add to that, a few people were really put off by what Walker, O Rob and David did that night, besides Herd, Ken, Jordi and Lisa and myself.
Not that, just the idea of well there is so and so I will not engage. just don’t do it, why announce it. That’s what starts crap.
Home has said shit about me and insulted my family for years and many people on the blogs kind of said meh. So I’m saying meh, deal with it in your own right.
I don’t know exactly what you are referring to. All I can tell you from my perspective is that there was a disgusting display of classlessness that was supported without question by a few sycophants that I cannot sanction. I don’t care who comes here, but I will not have any thing to do with those I mentioned, and if they decide to become themselves here I will likely stay away on equal measure. If others don’t have a problem with what went down and how it went down, that’s on them, but I find it totally disgusting and unnecessary, and I can’t let it go add if it never happened.
And fwiw, I did not mention any names, nor do I have any intention of doing so.
Piggy – I can create a section in the sidebar with some links. Suggestions?
miamidolphins.com
phins.com
Tim
That’s fine. I don’t disagree. I think people just want to voice their displeasure about what happened. I doubt it will be an ongoing thing. I really do.
I hope so, it was good to see that happening on both blogs today and then the can opener appeared. Everyone should let it go and build new relationships. Let’s not worry about the 2014 Miami Dolphins, because they will be a new 2015 Miami Dolphins.
Everyone thought it was ugly. I don’t think revisiting it publicly is a good thing at all. Deal with it it on your own and walk on the other side of the street, not everyone has to buddy up with everyone. 🙂
OK, time to get some sleep. Goodnight everyone
Try, see my 10:50 post. It’s not about you as a person, it’s about keeping it going. Noumsayin?
I respect your opinion Tim. I wanted to make mine known so there will be no confusion. I do not intend to continually repeat it, but I have been biting my tongue for a while and wanted to address it.
It’s all good with me, bro. What is your avi by the way?
When I got here last night it seemed appropriate for me to get s new avi, so I got a picture of some traffic signage in Ireland I took while there. It really doesn’t mean anything- any more than my handle means anything. You can stretch it on a touch screen and see both the English and the Gaelic spellings.

I mentioned this last night, but can you get a refresh/reload button installed at the bottom of the page? It’s really helpful for those who use handhelds to visit the site.
I’ll see what I can do about that. I might be able to pull it off but it’ll be tricky.
Hey everyone. Good to see this site up. Looks great. Thanks to whomever put their time into it – much appreciated.
Good night all.
I added links in the sidebar for the sites requested. I also reserved spots to spreadsheets for if/when we do a draft pick predictions and a season predictions.
Thanks Jeff! Great job!
Hey Convict
Good to see you here! If you have any suggestions on improving the site, or something you would like to add, or even if there is something you don’t like, let us know. Enjoy!
Glad you made it Convict, welcome

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Still waiting on OD to make an appearance
Stanger, think you can help him out?
Have any of you watched the Senior Bowl practices, or the East – West Shrine game?
Good morning, folks! So has Belichick been suspended yet?
No
I’m really curious to see how this plays out
If I were the NFL I would slow play this and wait until after Super Bowl to release my findings, then punish Patriots and Coach
That is not the right thing to do – but the super Bowl is big $$$ for the NFL and if they take action before the Super Bowl they might hurt themselves in that regard
Not doing anything allows it to linger and makes it the main story. It will be done probably on Friday evening so they have the weekend to let it cool down before SB week.
Tim
I don’t believe so. BTW, I was thinking with the backdrop, that the images can be repeated if there’s not enough to take up the whole page. Know what I mean?
I have to figure it out because as you see now most of the backdrop is covered by the comments section.
My only comment on the layout is that Hartline is sitting there on the left corner. It gets my blood pressure up.
He is like a cat that shows up in the room for no reason
Cats always have a reason. LOL
I don;t think the league should limit the punishment to Belicheat
I think it has to be the entire Cheats Organization
Its hard to beleive that Brady who touched the ball about 60 timess didn’t realize what a Colts trainer realized after touching the ball once
I think the Cheats were even playing a backup center
And he touched the ball all game too
The entire team was in it it? Don’t you think?
I saw as ESPN writer suggest Belicheat should be suspended for Super Bowl (Jackie McMullen) and I thought – how weak is that. Now they go out and win one for the gipper BS.
If Beliceaht cheated to get his team to the Super Bowl – then its that result that should be stripped from the Cheats
Incidently I agree with most people that the Cheats would have beaten the Colts without the advanatge
but that is irrelevent.
I think you punish Belicheat and the entire organization
I think the NFL should come down hard on them.
Think they should forfeit the AFC Championship and let the Colts int he Super Bowl?
Tim
I see your point about not acting allow it to linger
But if thet act and its not harsh enough – it just is a black mark on the NFL (another one)
And if they act and its too harsh, same thing
I guess a problem is unavoidable at this point
Thanks for ruining the game Belicheat!
The New england Cheatriots – ruining the game for over 15 years now!
Man, Danny Shelton has some really short arms, 31 3/4″.
Convict
Hartline? Whar?
Piggy, no I don’t think they can change the outcomes of games. I would suspend Belichick for the SB, the entire 2015 season and take away the Pats 1st rd pick. Not sure they can blame Brady. But Belichick knows everything that is going on with his team.
I don;t think they can suspend players for it
I just think suspending Belicheat for the Super Bowl is kind of weak but as a whole I agree with your punishment plan
I think you need to suspend Belicheat for 2015
Really if you consider the Balt game, albeit what the Patritos did was legal, there might be a rule change this offseason as a result of that
The Patriots exploited the ability to declare some one inelligble
Although its pretty brilliant strategy – I don;t think the officials were ready for it and it was a disadvatge to Baltimore to the point where its just unfair
There is a fine line between great strategy and poor sportsmanship
In a way I admire what Belicheat did int he Balt game
But I totally get Harbuagh’s grip about it
and if the rule changes this offseason (which I expect) its confirmation that people think its bad for the game, isn;t it?
Yeah Belicheat simply can’t play the game straight up, he always has to look for some edge which some will say is brilliant, but I think it has douche written all over it. He probably cheated a lot as a kid because he’s an insecure douche.
By the way what does Aurora Novae mean?
Aurora Novae Dies
Latin for “Dawn of a new day”
Thank you sir!
Gotta watch Texas CB Quandre Diggs. Also, shouldn’t Long Snapper Andrew East have played in the Shrine game?
Gotta head out
Be back later
This from Walter Football’s Senior Bowl Rumor Mill
2015 Senior Bowl: Wednesday Rumor Mill
By Charlie Campbell – @draftcampbell
With all the general managers, coaches and scouts in attendance for the Senior Bowl there is a lot of chatter going around. Here are some of the highlights from the rumormill on day three.
The Dolphins are targeting a speed receiver, which makes Mike Wallace’s future in Miami perfectly clear. Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey didn’t like Wallace coming out of Ole Miss, and sources say it would be surprising if Wallace came back to Miami next season. The organization’s actions are speaking volumes. The Dolphins have shown a ton of interest in speedster receivers Devin Smith (Ohio State) and Philip Dorsett (Miami). It looks as though the Dolphins are getting ready to dump Wallace and draft a cheaper replacement. While running Tampa Bay’s drafts as the college director, Hickey didn’t draft a wide receiver in the first round, so it seems more likely that Miami would take a wideout on the second day of the 2015 NFL Draft. Thus, Dorsett and Smith make sense.
Hickey wasn’t the GM at TB so who they drafted in whatever round really isn’t relevant now.
This would make it seem unlikely they would go after a DeVante Parker if he’s sitting there in the first when we pick. Speed is nice, but I still want a tall, strong, fight for the ball type of receiver.
I don’t have any problem whatsoever with those formations. Teams have been trying to find an edge like that forever, like the Tackle eligible passes, the Wildcat, the Marino Fake Spike. If it’s legal, then it’s legal. Deflated footballs is cheating, simple as that.
It just shows you more about Belichick’s mindset.
The formations aren’t what worried me. It was the ref making the announcement on who reported as eligible at the last second making it really unfair for the defense to react. That’s what made Harbaugh really upset. And he was right.
Glad to see you Convict.
I agree cheating is cheating. If delaying the balls did not create an advantage, they would not do it; in fact, they’d have someone making sure they were properly inflated at all times if it was considered a disadvantage. I do think that our Dolphins bias and our Patriot hate has influenced what the reasonable penalty should be, however. Don’t ask me what I think it should be; I don’t know. But some of what has been said should happen seems a might excessive.
Delaying= deflating
I think they should forfeit their 1st RD pick next year.
Tim
That’s true about Hickey, he wasn’t the GM. If they’re looking at speedy WR’s though, then it doesn’t look good for Wallace. I really hope they don’t cut him, and are able to trade him, and get good compensation for him. I would hate to just cut him outright. That’s going backwards, and for fucks sake, we can’t afford that.
The issue with Wallace isn’t just with the top brass, other players felt Wallace quit on them and you can’t have that sort of thing in your locker room. I’m not sure how they handle moving him but I think it’s going to happen.
Have a meeting with him and then depending how that meeting goes, have a meeting with him and the players, and FIX it! Erasing problems is much easier and lmore detrimental to the team though. I know I’ve said it 100X, but the guy played hard all year. It can’t be so irreconcilable. I think it would be a big mistake to just cut him
Mike E, we don’t know Wallace’s actions behind the scenes so when he quit that might have been the last straw. We’ll see what happens.
You’re right, I have no idea what happened behind the scenes. What I did see is a WR change his entire game to fit the offense we’re running, and reinvent himself, and I think he succeeded at that, despite the fact that he wasn’t happy about it.
Try, Belicheat has been caught cheating at least twice now. Remember the Pats lost a 1st rd pick in 2007 and Belicheat was fined 500K for spy gate. The penalty for cheating again should be more severe.
I know- key word is “caught”. So if you don’t get caught it’s ok? I think all teams do some questionable things and don’t get caught. And I do think there should be a penalty, but some of what I have read seems ridiculously punitive. I think the punishment should hurt the team, and not necessarily just an individual, as this seems like an institutional/process issue.
Sean Payton was suspended for a season for bounty gate. Suspend Belicheat the same way and take away their 1st rd pick. That hurts the team.
He’s been caught cheating before, this is is second strike. If it happens again, they should Pete Rose him and ban him from the game, no Hall of Fame later on, nada.
Bounty gate took place all season long. As far as we know, this is one game they cheated in, but it was a playoff game, so that should cary some extra weight. I think the 1st RD pick is good, but I won’t cry if they suspend that mumbly bastard for the season. lol
The Colts reported the same thing with the balls in the RS and I believe the Ravens did after their playoff game as well.
Today Harbaugh said he never brought up the footballs after their game and did not notice an issue there
I think this was done bc of the weather
So it probably didn’t happen in he Balt game
I agree, Herd.
Piggy, I thought I heard on the radio that the Ravens alerted the Colts before their playoff game.
That is interesting
Could be true
But espn is reporting that Harbaugh stayed he wasn’t aware of an issue in Balt game
It was on ESPN’s bottom line
Maybe Bruachi typed it in he TelePrompter …lol
I think Hickey is a BPA kind of guy and probably doesn’t rule out any position in the 1st – including WR
Just my guess
IMO some of the Wallace stuff is a bit overblown
The team said they will make a decision at some point
But I don’t think they know what that decision is
If some one offered a high pick I bet they would take it
But I doubt anyone does
I think the smart move is to cling to Wallace for another year while they being more talent along
You can’t just dump guys and spend the offseason replacing them
That is not a recipe for getting better
You need to add to the talent
Not just replace it
I agree we take the BPA at #14 and that could be a multitude of positions.
For 2 days I felt very bad for Aurora Novae’s family. SHEESH! lol
LOL @ Bruschi
The thing is
It’s cheating
I don’t think the results or the the gravity are relevant
If you look on some one else’s paper on a test
Copy it
And it turns out to be wrong
You still cheated
If you would have passed without the cheating
It’s still cheating
And if you get caught you fail
I think there is far too much rationalizing of the severity if it
Which I agree did not affect the game
Bit it doesn’t matter if it was cheating
And it was
Bounty gate was viewed as dangerous to the players
And I think that is why Goodell went so far
But getting caught cheating twice
And moreover being a successful team and getting caught cheating – that is dangerous to the integrity of the game
The fact the patriots have been successful just makes it worth
It implies that they have gotten away with it
Or that even when you don’t get away with it, it’s not too detrimental, so it’s worth trying
The NFL has to be very hard on the patriots
I think the NFL has had a lot of missteps this year
And it’s kind of a dangerous time in terms of PR
I hear that. Makes sense
“that is dangerous to the integrity of the game ”
Exactly!
I’ve been grieving for aurorae as well…
Aurora Novae sounds like a face cream.
I think it sounds more like a star, or constellation (Aurora Novae)
Or an Italian man after his wife yells at him with his arms in the air “Aurora Novae!!!”
I maintain “we” are being more aggressive in what the appropriate punishment should be than we would be if the played in another division. Again, I think there should be consequences, and again I think some of the prescribed penalties seem excessive.
They should be excessive.
“”When I came in Monday morning I was shocked to learn of the news reports of the footballs. I had no knowledge whatsoever of this situation until Monday morning.” The evil genius would say that either way, but he could be telling the truth. Could have been a rogue coach who thought he had a good idea. Not like every head coach knows when one of his players takes steroids either.
Don’t think it’s much relevant. He’s the undeniable leader of that team, and in many ways, he’s the quintessential model of a succesful NFL coach. This is twice now that his team was caught cheating under his watch, and by all accounts, he watches things far more closely then any other coach in the league. If he’s got a “rogue” coach that puts his team and it’s reputation in harms way, he’s responsible for hiring that rogue coach. There’s no way this doesn’t land in his lap.
^
It already has landed in his lap, but how severely he is personally punished versus the team will depend on what they can prove about his guilt. Imagine if they had proved Philbin ordered a Code Red on Martin.
Sorry Stanger, We’re talking about Bill Belichick. He’s the leader of that team. He’s the guy who was responsible for the first cheating scandal. If they can’t nail an individual (read Patsie) below him, they have to punish him. Just like Payton. Williams was the guilty guy in that scenario. But Payton had to pay the price too, because that’s why they pay the HC the most. When the shit goes down it lands on him.
Didn’t say he wouldn’t get punished, just that the severity of it will depend on whether they can prove he ordered it, or at least knew about it.
I agree with what herd said. why suspend him for a season. do you think if they found another bountygate they would only suspend payton for a season. no way they would kick him out of the league. if this is a proven fact, belicheat has proven he is a habitual cheater. kick him out of football.
and this bs of the pats would have won anyway. really? obviously the pats didnt think so that is why they created and unfair advantage for themselves
But I don’t think he gets kicked out of football even if it can be proven he ordered it. On what might happen……would rather see them lose a first rounder than him getting suspended for a year.

At first I thought is was about the surfer Dos Santos who was shot and killed. I didn’t know his name well but I saw the story and then came to the blog and thought that’s what it was about until I read it and then I was totally confused. LOL
Jahn – The name of the article is “Aurora Novae dies” It means Dawn of a new day in Latin
LOL…kinda slow. Haven’t finished my coffee yet this AM I guess.
Pacific Time (sigh)
Thanks on the Shake Shack comments. I read an article today about chefs and their favorite burger joints and Shake Shack was many of their favorites.
tim
you realize you are trusting the word of ‘the helping hand’ when he says shake shack was good.
you may want to clarify what kind of shack it is first.
Son liked it too so I think we’re okay. Even though Mike E resides at the Love Shack, he also enjoys a good burger. LOL
I don;t know all the details but I beleive Lane Kiffin got in trouble for the same sort of thing at USC
But he stated he had no knowledge
and it was blamed on a trainer or equipment guy who was fired
and that was it
Imagine if that is what happens to the Patriots
That is wrong
I am trying to put my Patriots bias aside (which is probably impossible)
But I think this has risen to a problematic level for the NFL
and that is the key issue
You really can;t have coaches pressing the rules to get advanatges all the time
People want to see the better team win
even when its legal (like the divisional game with Balt) its looks bad to push these limits if it appears unfair
And the NFL has a real image problem now
Don;t even get me started ont he Detriot Dallas game
Tim Knight says:
January 22, 2015 at 11:48 am
They should be excessive.
They should be relative and commensurate with the infraction, not decided by pissed off fans who think this team gets preferential treatment from the league.
I’m not pissed off. I just think a lot has been confirmed about the Cheatriots. The NFL is losing control of its game and needs to correct it as Delbert Grady would say.
You are also not necessarily one of those of whom I was referring to when I first mentioned it, either. Doesn’t make it less true.
piggy
i think the nfl has a huge image problem now. the talk on tampa radio is that most could careless about this SB and wont even bother watching it. then it comes out another scandal for the cheaters and most talk is just ‘see, told you, it is all fixed’ and that is from a buc market. has nothing to do with any bias against the pats.
when 31 out of 32 teams strive to have a consistent roster and the 32nd team has a new one every year yet continues to win 13 games a year, some thing smells really bad there. even worse then tommy’s deflated balls.
got to love this site. it is like roulette. every time you post or hit refresh you never know where you are going to end up. aaannnnnnnnnddddd…..post
LOL
It would great if nude chicks started popping up too.
i keep waiting to post a comment and then get sent all the way back to the SS
FFRob
I agree
there is an image problem right now
And its been building for years
I have always criticized the rule changes
albeit some are for safety concerns
but many are for purely statistical purposes to inflate stats for fantasy
and when you drmatically alter the game and really the core of what it is
I think you disenfranchise that core
fantasy football won’t be around forever
it seems to be a fad wearing thin
football needs to get back to its roots
It needs to be a physical game
Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and you don;t see people in Europe pushing for 10 goals a game
the real fan base
the obsessive fan base understdnads the game
I’ve been playing fantasy football for 2 decades, and I don’t remember a single year where it wasn’t more popular then the year before. Hell, my wife has played in one league with me for 3 years now and my daughter is going to have a team in that league next year. I think the core IS playing fantasy football for the most part.
Yeah I don’t think it’s a fad but I personally care less and less about it every year.
LOL @ Delbert
I thought you’d like that. 🙂
Try, I thought you were referring to me because I mentioned heavy penalties a few times.
I don’t remember specifically what you or anyone said, but I have read some very heavy-handed suggestions here and other places, things like fines AND forfeits AND suspensions AND loss of draft picks AND first born male children AND…
I was one of the ones who mentioned heavy penalties. He’s a proven cheater, hitting him with the ‘stick’ of a fine and loss of a draft pick did nothing apparently to change that. So I say, get a bigger stick to hit him with.
piggy
i dont think fantasy football has anything to do with it. the new rules only change what a value a fantasy player has.
however i agree the nfl changed it to make more scoring. you comparing it to soccer is spot on. the old NASL collapsed in this country when FIFA made them conform to FIFA rules. soccer is more popular then ever, they didnt have to change their rules.
lol at belicheat saying he has never heard of any player wanting deflated balls or asking for them a certian way. really? billy bob. really? hmmmm ok, i mean you dont have a rep of cheating i guess i will believe you.
He’s a pathological liar too so…
piggy
for your health, buy the throat guard and by all means stay out of new Hampshire.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B740y9aIgAAXCGT.jpg:large
Herd, I understand, but I think we like to prescribe all the ills of the patriots with the most toxic medicine. I am not sure we are the most unbiased judges.
And I wasn’t thinking of any one person, but some of the punishments people are suggesting are obviously not about addressing the issues but are just about individual hatred of the involved party.
Okay make Brady and Belichick have to take a bath together on the 50 yard line before kickoff. They have to scrub each other down, rinse each other off in a loving manner, squeeze a rubber ducky at least 5 times each but no more than twice within 4 minutes. Then they must towel each other off and walk to the locker room without any assistance as they are taunted by the crowd. Fair enough?
Seems excessive to me.
=-O
The only difference in that and their regular pregame routine is the location of the bathtub.
NH is for assholes
Jahn
I happen to think fantasy is dying a little bit
That is a lot of the feedbakc I get from friends and how I feel about it
I did get a jolt from sites like FanDuel which is a form of fantasy
but I’m not sure it has staying power
I don;t think the NFL should change its rules to increase scoring in an attempt to attract fantasy football fans
I am aware I am presuming that the NFl is changing its rules for that purpose
But it does appear to be marketing to me
anf for my taste its gone a bit to far
I don’t disagree with a lot of it, but I do disagree with the idea that fantasy football is dying…at all. I think it’s healthy as hell and only getting bigger.
I also don’t necessarily think rule changes have anything to do with fantasy, and everything to do with fans who research has shown, want more scoring. You guys brought up soccer, but that’s about the only major professional sport who’s scoring hasn’t increased in the last 2 decades…and most of those other sports have changed their rules to increase scoring. Hockey got rid of the 2 line pass rule for instance.
I watched a FIFA soccer game last weekend and thought out loud how stupid the offsides rule is. I think it could do with a bit more scoring itself to be honest. LOL…that’s MHO of course.
I think FF is as strong as ever, maybe stronger. I think more and more “non” fans are involved in it. More people who never cared a lick about NFL football are now playing FF. Of course, now the 1 week leagues like Fan Duel and Draft Kings are making it even more popular.
I never have played nor been interested in fantasy sports. I’ve never understood the fascination with it. I realize I am in the minority on this. Lol
You can’t honestly expect to understand “the fascination with it” if you’ve never played though.
Perhaps. But having to keep track of different metrics on teams and individuals to win a ‘championship’.. I just don’t see the fun in that. Please understand I am not slighting it or people who do like it, but I don’t want to watch sports so I can keep track of measurements, I wasn’t to watch because the contest outcome interests me.
I’m in the same minority too. Never played any.
I think Belichick should have to do the GOT “Walk of Shame” at the Superbowl. In addition to that, he has to fight the Mountain when he’s done with his walk. Seems fair.
He’ll cheat and kill the mountain. He won’t get all caught up in petty little things like making him confess something like Oberyn did.
After the bath though.
Hey Jahn
think Rhino might want an early invite?
Yeah, I’ll send you his email…
I don;t remember the w3alk of shame in GOT
what is that?
You’re going to like it.
