The Porcine Oddyssey #88: Bill Belicheat, A Honest Man

PiggyLogo

Frankly, I don’t understand why everyone has jumped to any conclusions concerning the Patriots and Deflategate.  Do you have any reason to question the credibility of the New England Patriots?…I don’t!  Maybe if you knew a little more about Bill Belicheat, you would not be so quick to judge him or the New England Patriots.

Bill Belicheat is an honest man.  He is a pillar of ethics.  Even as a child, Bill took great pride in earning everything he obtained.

Belicheat in School

His incredible and unbreakable code of ethics lead him to great success throughout school.  He aced every test!  His teachers were amazed.  “How does little Bill do it?”, they asked.  Bill always responded “mumble mumble mumble” which of course means – I earned it fuckwad! Or something about being on to Cincinnati.

BillBelicheatTest

College was hardly a breeze for Belicheat.  He paid for his tuition with a series of odd jobs.  Did you know Bill Belicheat worked in Casinos throughout College.  Pretty cool right?

Cheating cardsBelicheat

And no surprise – he excelled!  Way to go Bill Belicheat.  Considering what a hard worker Bill is, its surprising that he makes any time for hobbies.  But he does!  He is an avid videographer and bird watcher.  He travels the world to watch birds.  New York, Miami, Exotic Buffalo – Bill is there.  He loves your birds!

So the next time you decide to judge Bill Belicheat – stop for a minute, remember this post and then tell the NFL how you feel.  Bill Belicheat is an honest man.

Piggy, once I got in, I saw that my “nickname” had defaulted back to my actual name. (Rockphinagain is my NEW name, because I couldn’t get Rockphin to work with the defunct e-mail address, but you can set up a “nick name” in Gravatar) When I went back to Gravatar to put my ‘nickname’ of Rockphin in and reposted on here I got the message that I needed to wait for it to be moderated.

EVERYTHING Looks like it is working fine now.

Thanks! Good to be “back” I have been in withdrawal. Even did a little lurking on the other site one day. WOW I made my grand exit just in time huh? It was barely a blip on the radar that day. WOW

  2. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

I definitely like this format better. you can post stuff in the comments! Pictures, GIFS, movies. VERY COOOOOOOL. No longer having to post it somewhere else and then post a link on the board.

How do you post a pic or attachment like Tim did above?

    • Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Well D, in my world there is always room for improvement so there never was or ever will be a “10”
Perfection is something to strive for, but never be reached.
Reminds me of a comedian I heard once. “In school they told me practice makes perfect, then another teacher told me no one is perfect so I just stopped practicing.”

      LOL

Walford has speed, a true seam threat TE that can actually block some. I like his upside…remember Jimmy Graham from the U….who knows, maybe gold strikes again.
We need TD’s to keep up with NE, Denver, etc.

Michigan has flipped the commitment of four-star high school QB recruit Zach Gentry from Texas.
Jim Harbaugh is already working. Gentry is a 6’6/230 pounds pro-style quarterback out of New Mexico and flipped his commitment while on a recruiting trip at Michigan. He is the first commitment Harbaugh has received since taking over the job.

Supermarket wasn’t all that bad. It was crowded, a lot of people were there, but oddly enough, I had no line at checkout, which is really all I care about. I did have the desire to run over a few people who just stick their fat asses out and take up the whole damn aisle, but other than that, not bad.

The weather, on the other hand, was nasty. Cold, 27 degrees, windy as hell, and the snow looks like stuffed animal stuffing, like little round pellets.

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

  14. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

    Son, here ya go.

UCF senior WR Rannell Hall “made some terrific catches throughout the week, showing excellent timing, positioning and concentration to make contested grabs,” according to CBS Sports’ Rob Rang.
“Hall showed terrific body control to adjust over Oregon State CB Steven Nelson to haul in a 32-yard pass in the third quarter. This wasn’t the case of one splashy play getting Hall attention, though. He made some terrific catches throughout the week, showing excellent timing, positioning and concentration to make contested grabs,” Rang wrote. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Hall was Blake Bortles’ favorite receiver from a year ago. The UCF Knights’ prospect could hear his name called in the draft due to his quickness, which projects nicely to the NFL slot.

GDP, I think this might be UCF’s biggest draft eligible class ever. Not positive on that.
Perriman, Hall, Whorton all good WR
Plummer as a LB who was at the Senior Bowl
    Jacoby Glenn excellent CB
Clayton Geathers a good looking Safety who made a lot of plays
Torian Wilson, LT who projects to G in the league but played in ZBS

  22. dbolt48's avatar dbolt48 says:

if wallace stays I think CB is a bigger need than WR. Our defense was shit last year and is the main reason we missed the playoffs. That and our o-line once Albert went down.

    piggy,
my point was that we should focus on defense or o-line. IMO our priorities are DT, OG, LB, CB, mauling RB, WR.

That could be a nice draft there…got the big WR early, then the speedster in the 4th.

  61. D's avatar D says:

My strategy would include 2 WR’s in this next draft. Heavy talent receiver draft, going to get some really good ones. Like GDP said, im kinda targeting a big guy, and then a speedster or possession guy like Hardy. Hardy is kinda unique guy and “I wants it”, but i would take Devin Smith, Philip Dorsett, or Stefon Diggs in his place, in different round of course but id be targeting one early, one middle for sure.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Early and mid to late I agree.

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Yes, we have to dbl up IMO. Cause we’ll need to replace Wallace this year or next, as well as upgrade over Hartline & Gibson. The time to get the WR’s is now in a WR heavy draft. The big WR can cover some of the weakness we have @ TE when Clay is gimpy again.

    dbolt,

i didnt see her tweets but if they were about him not getting mvp for the pro bowl i agree. it was just another case of the nfl playing to the headlines and giving it to watt. grimes deserved it all the way

    • dbolt48's avatar dbolt48 says:

That’s what it was about, but went way downhill. Abramson said the NFL doesn’t pick the MVP, but rather the media does. I’m not worried about him getting a reward in the pro bowl, but she’s evetually going cost Brent money:

@AbramsonPBP: Wife of #Dolphins CB Brent Grimes goes on tirade, says NFL is anti-women & greedy (& Fins will eventually cut Brent) http://t.co/LjLAjaafly

    FFR,
If this is swept under the rug, then I think that the owners (minus Kraft) need to have a long talk about whether or not Goodell needs to go.

TIm — I know you are trying to be funny, but at least be realistic. That’s already covered and it ain’t you. Sorta gravy from her seeing the babe of the week and meeting Mike E. 🙂

Miko is crazy, but shes right about Thursday Night Football. It’s no good for the players at all, which in turn is no good for the game.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

It’s the worst all-star game of them all. Before the SB makes sense to because there’s no chance players in the SB are in the pro bowl. LOL

Just dumb stuff all around. I won’t post the money meter again. 😉

I think you can only have one link per post. That’s why the money GIF didn’t show.

NJ Transit is shutting down buses and trains too. I guess tracks will get iced up, and that’s dangerous.
