Hulk back to writing. Hulk took some time to hopefully cool off from typical end ofseason disappointment so that Hulk may calm down and relax. But you know what? It no help. Hulk still angry. Hulk always be angry. Here is what make Hulk angry now:
Cheaters. Hulk angry at cheaters and that this year’s Super Bowl is a testament to the fact that cheating pays off and will be rewarded. This now Patriots 3rd time caught cheating. They stole other teams’ signs. League says bad, don’t do it again and we will destroy the evidence. Patriots caught video taping other team’s walk through. Nothing happens. Now Patriots caught deflating balls in Championship game. Hulk no want to hear that it had no effect on game. That not the point, the point is that Patriots cheat and break rules even when they don’t have to.
Seahawks no better. In recent years 65% of players suspended for PEDs have been Seahawks. Hulk no think that a coincidence. Hulk no believe that coach Carroll no know about his players cheating so often. Coach Carroll no different than coach Bellicheat. He always look for advantage like paying all his college players to play game when he no supposed to. He cheat in college and no surprise his team What Make Hulk Angry?caught cheating at pro level. Hulk no even want to watch Super Bowl this year because no matter who wins it proves that cheating pays off and that make Hulk angry.
Hulk also angry that coach Coyle is still defensive coordinator despite his pussy two and three man pass rush defensive schemes that cost Hulk’s Phins wins in Detroit and Denver games. Hulk even angrier that coach Coyle kept when other good defensive coordinators available this year. Like coach Fangio from 49ers, or coach Schwartz from Bills or coach Nolan from Falcons. Hulk no want to hear about Falcons bad D last year. Falcons have terrible personel on D, that why FO all changed there. Coach Nolan can coach D. All these coaches have proven track records as defensive coordinators. All were available and yet we still have Kevin Coyle.
Hulk also angry that Mr. Ross now hire Mike Tannebaum. Hulk angry that it marginalizes Dennis Hickey in Dolphins organization. Hulk like Dennis Hickey, he 1st GM that actually draft 2 impact rookies for Dolphins in long time. But to make things even worse the hire is Mike Tannebaum, the man behind the collapse of the Jets roster over the last several years. This is the Mike Tannebaum that decided to trade for and put all his hopes on Brett Favre as Jets QB. This is the GM that decided to trade up for Mark Sanchez. This is the same GM that decided to extend contract on Mark Sanchez in one of dumbest contracts ever that put Jets into salary cap hell. This is the same GM that thought it was good idea to sign Tim Tebow when no one else wanted him. This is the man that now runs our football operations. That make Hulk very angry.

Ok so food for thought on Wallace situation.
First, and likely most debatable part of what im about to say, is nothing about Mike Wallace isnt replaceable, even his speed which isn’t as prolific as it use to be. When he entered the NFL you had a handful of guys who could run like him, now there are at least 3-4 times that many. Straight line speed does not a receiver make,(ball skills, fight, route running, hands, etc) and there is more to being a good teammate than what you can do on the field to make yourself look good. I feel there are draft picks that could come in and give us everything Wallace does for a fraction of the cost.
I know he doesn’t save us a ton of money towards the cap THIS year, but next year its damn near 10mil. This year its only 2.5 but think about it this way….number 1 draft pick at pick 12 was Odell Beckham Jr. Giants cap hit for him was 1.8mil, so good example of a quailty WR, drafted earlier than we pick next year, and what cost was associated with that pick, so if you see it this way, 2.5 mil savings, to get Odell Beckham Jr, and have 770k left over, the cost of replacing Wallace doesnt look so high, everyone fears the dreaded dead money, but really the proper way to look at it is can you replace the guy for what you save on cap. To me the answer is a definite YES.
Kyle Fuller was the 14th overall pick by the Bears, and his cap hit was 1.76mil, again, think of it this way would White, Parker, DGB, Funchess, Strong, or Cooper, one of which will almost definitely be there at 14, replace Wallace adequately enough that the 7-800k that’s left over wouldn’t have made it worth it? Wallace doesn’t help in the red zone, guys i listed above would.
Need even more evidence, take guys like Devin Smith, Dorsett, Hardy, etc. Its a stretch to say one of those guys would walk in with better projection numbers than Wallace but i don’t think its a BIG stretch, those guys sit anywhere between a 2nd and 4th round projection, you’re talking about Landry money at best, which was only 630k towards cap, or roughly a 1.9mil savings by cutting Wallace.
I strongly feel there is less likelihood he is cut than there is he stays, however i think the power that be see this number like i do and less like most fans do. I think its a lot closer to a cut than most people think. Add in the fact he has been a bitch and moaner, he disrespects his team and coach because of his selfishness, and continues to think he should be the only person catching balls, i think you start to slide the scale further and further over to the tipping point. Again im more confident he will be here next year unfortunately, because pissing away 9+ mil dollars never sounds like the right decision, but im living in maybe the 55/45 range of stays to goes. Its not a huge gap, id almost guarantee it.
Should have said does not solely a receiver make, it is something that helps.
I hope wallace sticks. Yea he’s a pain but we’re a better team with wallace on it than without him. He caught 10 TDs last year and some of those catches were pretty awesome. I also think he’ll behave much better next year because he’s playing for a contract. He played great his last year in pitt because of that reason.

He isnt playing for a contract, unless he expects to be cut, which wouldnt make sense if we finally are getting production and better attitude out of him. We have him under contract through the 2017 season.

D, I don’t think they’ll fire sale Wallace but if a decent deal can be had I think they’ll do it. When you have guys like Albert step up on behalf of Wallace I think that shows that things can get ironed out. I’m with you that I think Wallace is here for at least another year.
Regardless, I would draft a speedster this year to start working into the system.

My preference for Wallace is we trade him to a team with a similar situation, can think of three teams off the top of my head with expensive contract receivers who might make a good match. Houston, Arizona, and TB all have receivers that they could trade 1 for 1, all of them have contracts in the neighborhood of Wallace. Wallace isnt going to budge for us on contrat but he could renegotiate for a new team, dont know if he would but lot better likelihood than him doing it for us. We also could likely get another player, especially like Johnson or Fitzgerald to renegotiate some, or even extend in the case of Fitzgerald to get the cap hit down some.
Id be less excited about the trade with TB, as i have never overly been a fan of Vincent Jackson, but he is a very good receiver.
Me either I wouldn’t want VJ here. I’d rather work things out with Wallace and get a big receiver in the draft.
I don’t think we’ll be able to trade Wallace, so buckle up your seatbelts, and hope we can fix things with him. He’s a good player, that if used properly, can be a great player.

Also, not to be contentious, because I wish it were true, but the recording of the walkthrough based on the evidence…didn’t happen. The employee who alleged it backtracked and collaborating evidence (there was no power supplied to the location they were settting up the cameras (legally, for the game the next day), there was no recording media in the camera, and interviews collaborating that (with another Patriot employee, and a stadium employee (unaffiliated with the Patriots).
I still think they’ve cheated way more then 3 times, I just don’t think you can count that as one of the times they’ve been “caught” because the NFL doesn’t see it that way, so it won’t affect any punishment metted out for deflategate, which, I hate to say, and am sorry to say to you guys…I think will be nothing. They get off scott-free, but the world won’t forget.

If I’m Miami I cut bait with Wallace,Gibson, & Hartline. I tell Matthews he enters the off-Season as one of the starters and it’s his job to remain as the number 2. I’d bring in a Vet like Nicks to push for playing time and load up on talented rookie WRs. Landry would be the leader of the receiver room. I think if Matthews thinks he will actually get his shot, he may pull his head out of his ass.
Jettisoning way too much talent at once and putting way too much faith that Matthews is going to do something he clearly seems ill equipped to do. I’d rather not jettison ANY of those guys then ALL of those guys. That’s extreme.

I agree it has pretty much swayed me. I dont buy into a lot of conspiracies, especially when the source is a blog for of people who hate that team lol, but thats hard core evidence and statistics may not tell the whole truth all the time but they definitely point a good finger towards things that are very questionable at the least. At this point, however, i think that only way they pin it on them is to get someone to roll over on the team/coach/qb and from there the rest of the dominoes will fall.

I guess thats where the people that agree with cutting him and those that dont differ, i really dont think its a big loss. I do admit losing your entire starting WR lineup doesnt sound like the best idea but in my best case scenario, id cut Wallace, rengotiate with Gibson or Wallace to get their cap hit down, and cut the other, whichever would work with me. Hartlines actually has the most dead money hit of the two, so i guess there would be more financially to gain by keeping him, but overall savings to be had, is about the same. Wallace for me isnt about money savings, there is almost to be save by cutting him as Hartline, but for me its more about the type of player on our team. talent is only as good as the effort that talented play puts forth, and i dont think he is going to put forth full effort.
You don’t think, but he put in a lot of effort during the season, maybe save for the last game. He played hard all season. That’s what I saw, and he made our team better. If our QB was able to hit him deep, we would be in the playoffs.
I saw him play with concerted effort over the previous season where he half-asses every catch, so improvement of crap doesn’t mean high level of play, just means not so horrible. I will give you that point however, because i even supported how well he played after being one of his bigger critics the year before, seeing himas a one dimensional, not a great fit, WR. To me he changed my mind about a few things, i think eh COULD fit, though would never reach the full potential he could because his attitude is bad. What i saw was “ill try until i ddont get my way, then ill start bitching again to get my way, and if all else fails ill quit on my team”. I just dont want that kinda guy on my team when we need all of our players at top performance each week to win. People like that start a slide in the emotions of the rest and pretty soon that one bad apple does indeed spoil the bunch.
Mike, more like if Wallace held onto some of those deep balls we’d be in the playoffs, or more importantly if the OL gave Tanny more time he could let Wallace get open deep more often, then we’d be in the playoffs, and especially if our Defense didn’t collapse starting in Denver thru the rest of the season, then we’d be in the playoffs…STOP Blaming Tanny for us not being in the playoffs…he’s the only reason we ever even had a shot at the playoffs…IMHO!
Let’s not try to put the deep game on Tannehill. The Patriots game he underthrew his first deep pass and was pin point on everyone after that. Most of the problem lies with the OL allowing for things to develop. Also in that Minny game where Wallace makes that spectacular TDS grab….it was almost picked because that retard admitted to not knowing where he was on the field and ran the route wrong. If he takes a pay cut on top of that, hell year im going that way.

Mike to be certain, at this point its my opinion on it, its how and what i think we can expect of him given what he has shown us is a pattern with him. I dont think however there is anymore evidence to support that he wont act that way last year as there is a guarantee he will. D, as I mentioned above…it will be scary to cut a healthy under 30 yo guy who just scored 15 TD’s the past 2 seasons without a surefire plan in place.
I see your point, im just thinking not so much about what has he done previously as what he will do for us next. If his attitude hasnt change, he coulda been a 15 TD guy last year and he will be a shit pile this coming year. I know it makes more sense to prep up before pulling the trigger, and again, im thinking abotu 55% chance he stays, i just cant get behind overpaying a guy who may or may not do anything but eat up a roster spot. Im more of a fan of trading him for a productive player to make it more of an even swap, but i keep being told that will never happen.

D – I hear ya man. Besides the last game, he wasn’t a problem IMO. I don’t mind a WR who wants the ball. He fought for extra yards and contested catches all season, and that was never his strong suit, but he made it become that. I give him credit. I think Philbin should have a private meeting with Tannehill and Wallace, and work out their differences. If they irreconcilable, they should try and trade him, and if they can’t, I guess they have no choice but to cut him, but at least they made an effort to fix things.
I think the differences are about Wallace wanting to be the main target, and if that doesn’t happen in a particular game he gets pissy. I don’t think it has anything to do with Tannehill or Philbin having a problem with Wallace as a player. The quitting thing I’m sure didn’t sit well with a lot of guys on the team.
From what I’ve read, Wallace was upset running all those curl routes, and short yardage routes, and not getting the opportunity to make big plays. Those are 2 totally different things. He’s a deep threat playmaker, that’s what he is, and we didn’t use him in that manner.

It was essentially part of their little Twitter fiasco talking about the photo post game from end of season loss to the Jets. Essentially insinuating they were paying attention or didn’t care. Like I said that final drive against Minny you saw Ryan have to keep on correcting those two. That shouldn’t be the case when you have 2 rookies, Landry & Williams, getting lined up correctly. Like I said they weren’t doing the little things. You can’t have that shit permeating on your team.

Those saying Wallace’s last two year means he is a cant miss this and Hartline should be cut should think about it this way… Hartline was out leading receiver the year prior to Wallace and the year after Wallace got here, So to me this says two things.
First, Wallace could easily, especially if he has a shitty attitude about playing, drop off production. With the way Landry is playing, id almost guarantee a drop off in TD’s, receptions, and potentially yardage. Add in another kid who is hungry, maybe more of a RZ threat and those numbers dip even further, so really he could wind up much like Hartline who was odd man out this year, just he will cost 12mil. Easily could happen.
Secondly if you use Wallaces production number s as proof as to why to keep him, you have to do the same for Hartline. He has been out only 1k receiver in a while, and he did it back to back years. Wallace hasn’t hit that mark yet. To me since is strength is outside the 20’s where he can stretch the field his yardage number should be the most impressive part of his stats and they arent. I just dont see him as great as the rest of you do, he to me is an average receiver.

Behaving the way they say in meetings, as Gibson and Wallace said, they are doing the team a dis service. That’s not on coaching that’s a lack of professionalism and it directly effects how the team plays on Sunday.

No, and his yardage totals don’t put him in that range either, he need to take a pay cut, but again, to me the Wallace of Hartline thing is about them, and what intangibles they bring to the team and whether those things add to or detract from the development of other players and/or the overall team chemistry. To me Wallace is a big ole negative in those areas and Hartline is at least a slight positive.

You can bet coaches like Lombardi, Ditka, Shula, Belicheat…wouldn’t put up with players not paying attention in team meetings. Not for one second….and even if it was in a positional coaches meeting, you can bet once those HC’s I mentioned heard wind of it, they’d be some ASS chewing goin on!
To me it sounds like some of these guys were coddled by our WR coach. We’ve heard that Wallace made these threats during a few different games, of not playing, and the Jets game was the first time it got back to Joe.
Belicheat put up with Randy Moss taking plays off. And how do you know the coaches haven’t been pissed off at some of these guys?
So if Philbin cuts these slackers, he can’t handle egos, but if he does nothing about it then he’s not one of those great ass chewing coaches. I get how this works. LOL

Ken, I was bracing for 12-20 inches of snow but got probably 4-6. I saw it stop last night and it never really started again except for a little this morning.

Boulder, I’m not sure Mariota is going to be a big time QB. He’s very much a system QB right now which he could succeed in if with the right team like the Eagles. If I’m the Bucs I take Winston if they’re comfortable with his off the field, or Williams.
Dont think Winsoton lasts in the NFL either, but more because of his lack of maturity and leadership. I dont think either of these get better with the publicity and hype that will be forced on him, as well as going to a team that may not have the right players around him. TB sounds like best option IMO with Evans there to play the Benjamin type WR role he was use to in college.

That may not be the pick they need to get. I hear TB is all about Jameis. So sounds to me like no 2 is there shot at Mariota, too bad no 2 also wants a QB lol. Maybe they would get lucky and Tenn be in love with a QB they could get in a later round,
Senior Bowl may work in their favor there since the Titans coached on of the teams, and probably knows if one of them would suit him as a prospect, he also prepared for the other side, so knows where their strengths and weaknesses are. I think though that just tells him none of the ones he saw could give them anything better than they had in Mettenberger last year, so im thinking they stay put and take Mariota.
I’ll tell ya, if I was a team who needed a QB I would be very interested in Hundley he might be better in the pros than Winston or Marriota.
I actually somewhat agree with it but i would say it only applies to a few of the teams. For example Hundley would not be better for San Fran imo. I think Mariota is JUST what SF needs to make them competitive with Seattle. He is a lot like Wilson, Wilson is currently a more polished passer, but Mariota has better wheels. They play very similar, game management, good elusiveness, don’t make many mistakes. Other team like maybe Minnesota id like Hundley better because i think he would be better able to take a team at least partially on his shoulders and i think he would help get the most out of player like Crodarrell, i actually think Cordarrell and Hundley would be a very good pairing.
MIN likes Bridgewater though and he had a good rookie season.

I just don’t think Mariota will drop out of top 2. Either the bucs or the titans will take him. And to get to top 2 for the eagles would be a 2 1st rounders and maybe a 2nd rounder. Even that might not be enough.
Very possible. I was just stating rumors I keep hearing about the Eagles. I personally don’t care where they go, I wouldn’t want my team to have to decide between them.
