Boulder, that would be awesome if you could make it down for the SD game. For any of you guys coming out of town, I’ll take care of all the tailgating stuff. Just show up and have fun!

    Draft Trade Chart

The combined value of our 4th rounder and our first 5th rounder only gets us to the top of the 4th
    😦
and I’m hoping for mid 3rd somehow

  3. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I’m going to miss the first hour or so of the draft
but you will see my oinks by about 8pm

  4. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    Jahn,
I’d like to think I can go but Dec 20th is a crappy time for traveling for me lol. I’ll see what I can do.

LOL @ Brian on Al being an elf.

  7. New Age's avatar New Age says:

    Rock,
What we need to do is trade down with Steelers, get their 3rd and draft Marpet and then Varga later. Or we could trade down and get Matt Roth’s cousin, Tyler Marpet and dominate the world.

    He needs a muzzle.

tim, the only way that happens is when others no longer read and repeat the fool. as long as others do, he will keep up his foolishness

    • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

As much as the dude annoys me, and even though I agree and practice this particular approach to dealing with him, I have to reluctantly credit him for creating this phenomenon where folks love to hate him. He’s always fancied himself a shock-jock type reporter, and now he’s getting reactions from even players. I wish the team would revoke his media pass tbh. LOL…

  9. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    jahn

i dont see where he deserves any credit for going the shock-jock route. at one point he had credibility and was a decent read. now he is pathetic. he took the route of the ‘homes’ of the internet. he took the easy way out. just say the most idiotic things to gather attention. it doesnt take talent or a nerve. IMHO it was a coward way of getting his name out there.

rock, come on man. i saw the other day you said your were getting desperate for some some, but come on, hold out dude. or at least just blow a few at the stand, not the whole stand

  11. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

i got to say i am scared for parker. well and for that matter mankind. with bat in favor of this pick, and happy about it. i shudder to think what will happen if parker is a bust. or jahnforbid if joe doesnt use him his rookie season. there will be no saving joe

  12. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

after looking at our roster… I’d have to say that LB is actually in worse shape than OL. We only have 6 LB’s on the roster if this is how we go to camp…. Jenkins, Misi, Tripp, C. McCain, Knott, and Paysinger. A Kendricks or Perryman amongst that group would really make a difference.

OL has 4 tackles, 4 guards, 3 centers, 2 ‘OL’ (maybe it was supposed to be LOL)…

#47 will be BPA from those two positions, imo.

I wonder if this is a ploy by his agent to force a team’s hand and have him selected tonight.

  15. Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

    Rhino,
I think the same could be said about CB.

    • Al in MIA's avatar Al in MIA says:

Ronald Darby, Eric Rowe, Jalen Collins, & Quentin Rollins are probably in the mix in RD 2 if not OG (my guess is OG with the next pick albeit 47 or lower).

  19. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

    Pick 6 Geno?

  20. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

Not sure if this was seen yet…:

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Collins and his camp have determined that if he’s not selected in the second or third round, he will refuse to sign a contract with an NFL club and resubmit his name for the 2016 NFL Draft.

The CBA states that any player who does not sign with the team that drafts him can be selected by any team the following draft.

    • New Age's avatar New Age says:

I have to agree with the guy. He’s lost millions of dollars over this and if he’s as innocent as he describes, it’s a horrible situation. He has a lot of talent and should do what is best for himself. A lost year isnt as bad for a OL.

    • Jahndoh30's avatar jahndoh says:

I question whether that strategy lands him a better draft slot a year from now. A rookie who sits out football for a year isn’t worth a whole lot to NFL teams. He’ll end up getting drafted low again next year than what? The longer he sits out the less teams will value him.

      • New Age's avatar New Age says:

It just depends. He’s lost a lot of money either way but if he gets drafted in the 5-7 or goes undrafted, he’s not making much of anything(NFL-wise). He has a lot of game tape and if he stays in shape, could land in the 3rd pretty easily. 3rd round money even a year later should end up netting him a better situation.

He was stupid not to immediately get the situation fixed. The police said he did not reach out to them until around midday on Weds or later? You just can’t wait that long and expect everyone to work around your issues.

Why does people posting Omar tweets to make fun of him bother you so much?

why did anything home say bother you so much? why does me pointing out how foolish it is to question omar bother you so much? dont you get it. i dont care what the troll says, i am just laughing that the ones who repost what he says and then are shocked by it.

that is like some one being shocked a kardslutian makes a home sex movie

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Oy! Home ruined blogs by repeating posts over and over, pretended to be me when you could use the same names saying the opposite of what my opinion would be, set up blogs under my name and pointed people to them where I would have to explain to people asking if that was my blog, sent out emails pretending to be me to other people and said a lot of nasty stuff about many of us and our families. That’s a little different than just typical ball busting. He tried to ruin the blogging experience. It didn’t affect me outside of the blog but when I constantly had to explain myself to others it was a pain in the ass.

  24. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

I would not be surprised if we traded down and tried to acquire a 3rd. That said the way the team is looking at it and I do too is we drafted –
    1. WR DeVante Parker
    2. ?
    3. WR Kenny Stills

So in reality we went heavy WR in the draft to retool our WR corps the first two days. Stills is only 23 and has already proven he can play in the league so it’s actually better than a 3rd rd pick who is still unknown.

  25. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    tim

before this gets to be bigger then what it is. i dont even waste a second thinking about omar till some one on here post something he says then blogs about it. to me it is the same thing home wanted. attention for being an idiot. if it would make you happy i will refrain from ever questioning the wisdom of posting what the troll says.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

It went beyond seeking attention with Home. So that and busting on Omar are two different things.

lmao, yeah cause omar in his position isnt seeking attention.

really tim it is ok, i am done with it, omar isnt worth the discussion. i will just from now on refrain from laughing at those who repost his idiotic comments. maybe we should just talk about the kardslutians. they arent media whores.

EXACTLY…. I was thinking about this very thing during lunch today when I was lamenting not having a third… then realized Stills is our third. AND we unloaded Ireland’s mistake (and I don’t mean inviting Oliver Cromwell over for tea).
