    Interesting!

Using the same “due process clause” argument as the Supreme Court just applied to gay marriage, my concealed carry permit must now be recognized as valid in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.“

we have enough talent to do whatever we want this yr, #NoMoreExuses.

Well we had some injuries… FU get it done.
Well we should’ve thrown the ball there at the end, and… FU get it done.
Well the plays were there to be made, but.. FU get it done.

“The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a Britain-based group monitoring Syria’s conflict, said it had documented 3,027 executions by ISIS since June 29, 2014. Among those executed are 1,787 civilians, including 74 children”

Almost makes me feel bad for biotching about “evil” genius.

Persecution of Christians is spreading like wildfire over there, and now in the USA after the same sex marriage agenda along with the propagated mindset that conservatives, Christians, vets, etc are now vilified as domestic terrorists. We already are now seeing shootings in churches. It will continue cause the bible clearly lays it out.

how is the same sex marriage agenda persecuting Christians?

Wait and see. I didn’t say beheadings. Think about it, it’ll come to ya.

just asked you a simple question. but no thanks, not worth my time to think about. i couldnt care less about both, christians or the same sex marriage agenda

  10. finfanrob says:

besides, in a same sex marriage would be-headings be a common occurrence

  11. steveccnv says:

I don’t get it either Rob. Why would someone that isn’t gay be so furious to cause trouble over gay marriage?

    • Try Pod says:

People by nature do not like change. Some people fight it harder than others. They cite lots of reasons as to why the change is “wrong”, but really all they are saying is that they are scared. I myself resist change-like my daughter wearing makeup- but it’s going to happen, regardless. We just have to make our peace with it. And change isn’t inherently bad or good- it’s how people react to it that determines perception.

    • stangerx says:

Try Pod — that was well said. And that comes from an “it is what is” guy.

  12. finfanrob says:

    steve,

i was just trying to understand how Christians are being prosecuted cause of the gay marriage agenda.

as far as them allowed to get married, i dont get what that has to do with Christians if it is just a legal issue. not like the govt is saying that churches are now forced to let gays get married in their churches.

“Former Dolphins CB Robert Sowell passed away in his early 50’s. He passed away on Friday. Sowell played four seasons for the Dolphins starting four of 45 games that he appeared in.”

He died of a heart attack…..sorta makes you feel old.

    • steveccnv says:

I really believe there’s something to the shortening your life expectancy, if you’ve played in the NFL. I read something this week about the 10 things not to do to your body, one of them was working out for too long, which most pro athletes do.

      • stangerx says:

I think we might be looking at steroids. But for whatever reason, NFL players die too young. As premiere athletes you’d expect the opposite.

  14. stangerx says:

This from Florio….and have to assume that Jordan’s $3+ mil would be put back in the cap.
    ———————————-

As it relates to the signing bonus, there apparently are no decisions to make. Article 4, Section 9(k) of the Collective Bargaining Agreement makes mandatory the pursuit of signing bonus money when a player is suspended under the substance-abuse policy. Two years ago, Broncos linebacker Von Miller escaped that requirement because his suspension was the result of a negotiation, not the normal operation of the policy.

Unless Jordan’s minimum one-year suspension was negotiated (and by all appearances it wasn’t), the Dolphins will have no choice but to seek the money — and Jordan will have no choice but to pay it back.

He would owe one-fourth of the $13.34 million signing bonus received on a four-year deal as the third overall pick in the 2013 draft. That equates to $3.335 million.

    • steveccnv says:

He can’t pay it back, if he doesn’t have it, like Rickey Williams.

I wonder if the FO doesn’t mind so much that he got suspended, since he’s not playing up to his contract. Maybe they can void the contract and sign him on the cheap next yr, and work the money he owes into the new contract.

I don’t hate Jordan, if there was no salary cap I would’ve wished he were on the team now (he at least contributed on STs), but with a salary cap I’m not sure, if we’d be better off without him.

      • stangerx says:

Not sure if he actually has to pay it back far as the cap goes. Not sure of that, but might be that legit debt equals take it off the cap. Hardly doubt that Goodell will actually wait for a court verdict before that happens.

  16. Rockphin says:

Lamar Miller, LaMichael James, Jay Ajayi

That has the potential to be a high as hell YPC backfield right there! Our offensive line was actually pretty damn good run blocking last year too and now with a second year in the system we look to be even more efficient.

I think our offense overall is really going to take off this year. With our high percentage receiving crew and Ryan Tannehill having full control of the offense and that explosive backfield we are going to score a lot more points this year.

With Suh and a healthy Misi in the middle of our D and with Jones & Delmas on the field together from the start of the year all we need is for Taylor to step up (which from the reports he is) We are going to WIN a playoff game this year. Money.

(Confession; I have been drinking since 2pm and not just Homeraide)

  17. Rockphin says:

Here is to a healthy, injury free season with no major contributors missing playing time. Young guys coming together this year. Winning a playoff game, staying relatively stable roster wise next year and winning the Superbowl in ’17 (the end of the ’16 season)

    • steveccnv says:

Next yr is 2016, this yr is 2015 why not win the SB this yr? We need to be able to get it done when it matters and be at least +7 in TOs and we’ll have as good of chance as anyone.

  18. steveccnv says:

Here’s an interesting site that show the splits/down and distance:

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/splits/_/name/mia/miami-dolphins

I compared us with NE and Buff for 3rd/4th and 1 or 2 yrds to go, it was close for rushing with the 3 in percentage, but NE had several more attempts. In passing Buff was 15 out of 19 NE 8 out of 19 and we were 14 out of 24.

NE only 8 out of 19 is mind boggling, anyone wonder why I hate stats? You really have to get it done when it counts. And the cheats D gets lots of TOs that help with total pts.

  19. steveccnv says:

Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther, whose defense mugged Manziel for two interceptions, three sacks and 80 passing yards allowed in a 30-0 Browns home loss, told ESPN “Honestly, I think the kid needs more time” before anyone writes him off.

LOL, of course he wants Manziel to get more time 😛

    • steveccnv says:

They aren’t going after his signing bonus now, wait until next yr when the cap it tight. They’ll use it against him to lure him back, if they see he’s rehabbed.

That sucks that Chris Squire has passed. He was an awesome bassist and backing vocal. Wrote some really great songs with Yes. RIP Chris!

  25. BoulderPhinfan says:

Everyone is talking about Brady getting a fine instead of a suspension. I would be done with the NFL it that happens. It’ll be just as rigged as the NBA.
Isn’t it enough that Brady and the pats get all the calls, now they’re allowed to cheat and get away with it.
