I think it’s control by the league, in college the team that has the best chance to go the farthest gets all the calls, so the conference makes more money. In the NFL no telling why these guys do what they do. The one that really stands out for me this yr was the side judge on the Colts onside kick that said the cheats had possession when the ball was rolling around, then after replay they couldn’t see who recovered it. Part II of our game with the Steelers a few yrs ago.
I do have to commend the NCAA for getting the U’s game correct at the end picking up the flag after a 9 minute delay. You know they reviewed it even though the play isn’t reviewable. Fuck the rules just get it right.

Cespedes has been very disappointing in the WS, and really in the PS as a whole. That base running error pissed me off. He has to be aware of the situation. Can’t get doubled up on a line drive, and that wasn’t even close to a line drive, it was a soft bloop. He’s the trail runner, where did he think he was going?
Cespedes and Murph hurt us for sure.

all an offensive coordinator should do now a days is just drop back and throw deep passes. they would easily move down the field with either a completion or a bs PI penalty.

With 3 divisional losses trading picks would be an absolute waste. The odds of making the playoffs are very small. On top of that we don’t have a ton of cap space over the next couple of years. We can’t afford to take on more veteran contracts

Ken I don’t know if you saw the article I posted concerning Cap space the next couple of years but it showed how our cap girl Dawn Aponte structured Suhs contract to where we can adjust it year to year backloading it. So, we do have cap space going into next year and the following year.

i read about that. i watched the ending of that game last night and i just couldnt believe how horrible the officiating was. i have been saying it all year long that both and the pros it has sucked. duke was gifted a final td with some horrendous officiating on their final drive. if the refs had even gotten one of several calls right that last play never would have happened.
it was like today in the sd vs balt game, the refs make a horrendous PI call to change the outcome of the game. it is getting to the point that no officials would be better.
I’m not sure officiating wasn’t better when they weren’t as reliant on replay to fix the errors they made/missed.
