What Make Hulk Angry?

incredible-hulk

By Dr. Bruce Banner

So Hulk watch Phins finally beat dreaded Ravens from Baltimore. This is a team that has cursed Phins for long time with painful losses in playoffs and regular season. Hulk watch the hated Matt Schaub who beat Phins five teams as starting quarterback of Texans and never lose to Phins. Hulk watch Schaub get tossed around like ragdoll and throw ball into defenders hands. Hulk watch young WR with bad foot finally play and make impact on game with 2 crucial catches including big touchdown catch. Hulk watch defense make crucial plays with game on the line. So you think Hulk would be happy? Wrong!

Hulk was feeling happy for a brief moment, then he come here and he see who was complaining about scoring only 15 points, who was complaining that our quarterback was no good. Who was complaining that our offensive line is what let down quarterback. Hulk say okay I see same old debates even with win. It start to make Hulk feel angry that we can no even enjoy hard fought win against a team that has caused us much pain. But even this no make Hulk that angry. What make Hulk angry was when he read that win was no good because it means we move down in draft order. Hulk get angry when he sees fan who wants us to lose just so we get first pick.

Hulk not always good in reason but this how Hulk figures things. Hulk no want to be drafting at number 1. Hulk wants Phins to draft at number 32. So any game that gets Phins closer to 32 better than any game that gets Phins closer to number 1. Trying to lose games to get draft position is something that talking heads like Blowmar like to go off about. Fans should never root for team to lose. When Hulk watch game he feels anger rise up within him when he see team in danger of losing. Hulk gets that way because he has fire for team to win. It doesn’t matter if it is only for one game Hulk feel it better to win that game than lose it. Hulk would want heads of anyone in organization who is actively trying to lose game to gain draft choice. There is no room for that in professional sports. Even Hulk know that. So what would make Hulk happy? If this team can go on a 5 game run and win some games, finish strong with momentum and then we really have something to build on. What would make Hulk angry? Anyone saying we should lose just to get better draft pick. Hulk Smash!

Here is something else that makes Hulk angry:

Mike E & ffr — if ffr decided to make me Jahn (lol btw)……I’ll tell you the first thing I would do.

Summary judgment is a preliminary motion you bring before a lawsuit goes to trial. The judge is basically asked whether the plaintiffs can possibly win from the combination of fact and legal issues in place. If the judge says no the case is done. I’d add in that the party that brought the case has to pay the legal costs of the people that brought the case in the first place……and yeah that would include their smash and grab lawyers.

  20. Al in MIA says:

    GDP,
    Water cooler talk…
Looks like Blake Bell might get his first to start though he played major snaps at TE in Bears game after Vance McDonald suffered a concussion in Q2. With McDonald in the NFL concussion protocol and Garrett Celek now on IR; looks like Bell might get his first start.

    • getterdone says:

I saw him make a great catch and YAC breaking tackles & speed last week.
I remember back when I said I’d like to draft him late, and give him 2-3yrs to develop.
He’s got a future in the NFL.

  21. Mike E. says:

    Stanger

Funny – I also thought it looked like a rugby ball, and appreciated the connection

    • stangerx says:

Having tried to cover you pathetically…..you would have been great at rugby. Given that the big dudes are all clumped together in the scrum, it is free-flowing, and the field is actually wider…….there is a lot more open field to play with (think many punt return situations). Some of the best guys I’ve ever played with were built and ran just like you.

  22. Al in MIA says:

    GDP,
I read this in a Niners post game report:

The team stayed mostly healthy, but Vance McDonald suffered a concussion, and that resulted in some changes to the 49ers offensive personnel. Blake Bell got the bulk of the tight end snaps, but with only two tight ends on the active roster, the 49ers went to more fullback packages. Bruce Miller got 22 snaps, and was fairly active on the day.”

    http://www.ninersnation.com/2015/12/7/9864112/vance-mcdonald-concussion-49ers-snap-count-offense-bruce-miller-blake-bell

That was the in game adjustment but perhaps they will prepare some big passes for Bell next outing 🙂

  24. getterdone says:

    Hal Habib @gunnerhal
Dolphins re-sign TE Brandon Williams, cut S Jordan Kovacs, put DE Robert Thomas II on IR.
    _____________________
Robert Thomas lasted all of a few snaps in one game. I’m doubting all these Thomas’s Miami gets.

    • Al in MIA says:

I saw on Twitter that the Dolphins wanted to formally waive Kovacs yesterday but they didn’t file the paperwork in time (NFL’s daily deadline for transaction requests) so they got the move done today LOL.

  25. Al in MIA says:

    GDP,
Here’s an old article I came across from May of this year regarding Bell and Owen Daniels who was also a QB turned TE:

  31. finfanrob says:

‘Some of the best guys I’ve ever played with were built and ran just like you.’

you played rugby with guys like this?

  32. getterdone says:

Al, cool article. I didn’t know Owen Daniels was a QB in college. Bell is bigger and more stout with decent speed. I think he can be a all purpose TE whereas Daniels is just mainly a seam threat type.

  33. finfanrob says:

here is the baby pick i have of bat. dont know where that other one came from.

  34. Al in MIA says:

    GDP,
I saw someone suggesting on a Niners fan site that Blake Bell should be listed as 3rd on the QB depth chart LOL.

  35. Al in MIA says:

    GDP,
No wonder Egnew couldn’t figure it out; it’s bad enough learning how to block inside is tough (as Daniels mentions) but when you can’t figure out how to read a defense it kind of renders you worthless as a weapon.

  36. Al in MIA says:

    http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings

I posted this earlier but anyway, to kind of wipe my ass with where they rank the Dolphins, the Dolphins have the same record or are better than teams ranked #17-32 (Miami is #24 on this arbitrary list compiled by ESPN blow hards); 1 game worse than teams ranked 12-16. To note, they beat the shit out of the #13 team (Texans). Fins are 5-2 outside of the AFC East :/

    • getterdone says:

You get slaughtered by your division and ya don’t deserve much respect.

    • Al in MIA says:

I’m not looking for respect but the headline by James Walker was “Dolphins win but still slide in ESPN power ranking” as to suggest they are alot worse than everyone else on this list beyond #12

  37. Al in MIA says:

Reviewing PFF grades this past week for the Fins vs Ravens game (via Mando’s column):

DeVante Parker was the highest graded Miami offensive player, per PFF and was the No. 7 graded wide receiver in Week 13 leaguewide while fellow receiver Jarvis Landry struggled for the second consecutive week. He had a negative grade as Landry caught only two passes for 5 yards on five targets.

Rounding out the offensive grades, Billy Turner struggled and finished graded 67th of 68 interior NFL linemen. Branden Albert, meanwhile, had a solid outing. (Nice to see Fox wasn’t on this list LOL)

On defense the grades are as you might expect:

Olivier Vernon, who had 2 1/2 sacks, ranked as the second-highest graded defensive end in the entire league.

Derrick Shelby, who had half a sack and returned a tipped pass for a touchdown, was the No. 13 graded defensive end in the NFL.

Ndamukong Suh rated 70th out of 77 interior linemen graded and Jelani Jenkins rated 39th out of 41 OLBs playing in a 4-3 struggled, obviously.

  38. Al in MIA says:

Anyone who follows the Giants know where the DL puts the pressure on? The data by Football Outsiders suggests that the side where Fox & Turner operate is where the Giants front 7 is most effective :/

    • Ken says:

The Giants don’t put much pressure at all. JPP is only legit pressure guy they have and he ain’t exactly healthy. So if our OL can’t stop this front then that is not a good sign.

  39. stangerx says:

Mike E — best rugby player on my college team was 5’7″ and a buck forty-five. But he had wheels, moves and smarts. There are three main scoring positions…….and those are the ones you want punt returner-types at. Saw you as one of those.

One line from a rugby song: “it is the line that gets the glory, it is the scrum that gets the blame.”

Line are those fast shifty dudes that score most but sweat like one-quarter as much as where the real men play. And the ones most like that on the line are where you would have been. Only thing I don’t know is if you can take a hit…..cause that is another factor that does come into play.

    • Mike E. says:

I hear ya. Not sure whether I can take a hit, it’s been about 35 -40 years since I played tackle football. Damn I’m old!

      • stangerx says:

LOL — not telling you to go out for your local rugby team tomorrow, but if we had met in our twenties and played a little touch like the first fest I would have been recruiting your ass like white on rice. And even if as much as I explain, still not sure what a perfect fit you would have been for the sport has sunk in.

      • stangerx says:

Should have added after I’d offered to bear the Captain’s first child of course. 🙂

  41. Al in MIA says:

    Ken,
If you read the Football Outsiders defensive data I posted, your comment would be consistent with that (Giants have the worst sack rate through Week 12 as data not updated yet for Week 13)

  42. Al in MIA says:

Speaking of Football Outsiders, they just released their latest PLAYOFF PROBABILITY list ….
Fins have a chance of 0.2 % of making it in as a WC LOL

  43. CavalierKong says:

When are we supposed to get James back at RT?

    • Al in MIA says:

This Friday is the 6th full week since the 10/30 report stated 4-6 weeks.

      • CavalierKong says:

I was pretty sure it was coming near the expected return date. Getting him back in place of Jason “beat me all day with moderate speed” Fox will do wonders for that right side.

They said Flores doesn’t need surgery and will be ready for spring training. I believe Tejada is part of the team, they talk about him on the radio as if he is.

I can still remember waiting in line at the theater as a kid with my parents for Return of the Jedi. The line wrapped around the entire mall two times, and we had to wait through 3 sets of showings to get in. Crazy.

For The Phantom Menace, my friends and I got tickets for the Thursday night 12:00 first showing. It was one of the most fantastic events I’ve ever been to. About half the crowd was in costume, people were acting out scenes from the originals. The fervor and excitement was so strong you could almost see the energy. In the theater before the movie started, amazing costumed characters were psyching up the crowd kind of Rock Horror Picture style. Awesome stuff.

“Syrian rebels turned the tables on a group of Islamic State fighters and lined them up for execution — only to holster their weapons and declare that the “executioners” are not evil.

In the slick video, titled “Muslims are not criminals,” nine jihadists clad in orange are marched along a table lined with handguns, which the masked captors pick up before pointing them at the bowed heads of the kneeling prisoners.

At the last second, the camouflaged members of the Levant Front pull their guns back and remove their masks — unlike the myriad Islamic State propaganda videos that show the extremist thugs killing hostages in increasingly depraved ways.

A cleric clad in a white robe tells the seemingly puzzled captives to repent, adding: “This is not our policy. We are not evil.”

With that sais the rookies and RT need to be the focus of the last 4 games. It was great that we had balance last week, but we still need to throw the ball to win, and RT should just be allowed to call his own plays, without any input from the OC, unless he asks.

    I did 8-8
I kind of think we will win 3 of the last 4
which is no such a good thing
finishing at .500 again is kind of miserable especially given our division record

    That’s weird Tim
but I don’t think it the site b/c everyone else can see it

  92. Tim Knight says:

I don’t think it matters what our record is it’s been a bad year. We’ve been blown out too many times and the main coaching staff was fired.
