Game Day – Dolphins @ Chargers

Capture

We might just win this game.  Here’s my thinking…..The past 2 seasons we’ve needed to win the last 2 games to get in the playoffs.  Now that it’s impossible, when it doesn’t matter,  they will likely finish strong just to piss me off.

Let’s Go Dolphins!

    Pass pro? LOL

  4. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Chargers DC is calling up blitzes all game. Easy to jail break on this OL and with the poor play calling system mostly still in place.
Ok, now back to the tired spineless defense for Miami…..

  5. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

lol, he said the dolphins dont have an answer for the exotic blitz package. you idiot, the dolphins dont have an answer when the def just rushes 3 guys

  6. bat's avatar bat says:

Is there any way that Ross can just fire everybody, cut all the players, disband the team and then apply for an expansion franchise? ..That would seem to be our only chance at being competitive within the next decade or so.

  7. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

that last sack was on tanny, he had at least a quarter of a second to throw the ball away

  8. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

This team is a total fucking embarrassment.

  9. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

I am really glad we fired Lazor. It’s made a world of difference.

  10. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

I wish the rules would allow no OL, just put 10 receivers & RB’s out….smh

Got to run the ball if you’re going to call off the blitzes.

  11. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

    LOL….

    • rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

And people talk about Suh standing around during play. ….Dallas Thomas looked like his shoes were nailed to the ground.

  12. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Tanny finally gets time to throw, thanks for holding Malice Thomas

  13. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

Heck of a take down by Dallas Thomas. I think he has a future on the d-line.

  14. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

I can’t wait for randy to tell us how Thomas didn’t really have a bad game that of the 17 sacks he gave up 6 were tannystills fault

  15. ocalahowie's avatar ocalahowie says:

    NICE?
I’m still seeing 23-0 and a 53 yd punt by Darr

  17. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Refs are gonna need some one to cut up some yellow bed sheets, Miami is going to cause them to run out of flags.

  35. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

    BTW, nice TD run.

  36. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

unreal balance for Ajayi a big RB.

  37. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Defense now needs to make a play and get Tanny a short field.

  45. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

did the mark him down at the one? i hope so, i kind of miss them giving up safeties

  46. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

C’mon Phins, score on this drive, then it’s a game.

  47. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

This is when our offense gets a lot of their yards. …4th quarter, down by double digits, with the defense playing back.

  48. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Tanny sucks, he took Ajayi’s eeyes off the ball. 🙄

  49. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

Well, so much for padding our stats on that drive.

  50. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Tanny should have been there to catch the ball he threw to Ajayi. WTF Tanny!

  51. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

well wait. all is not lost yet. they can still save the fuel on the trip back

  58. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Was Grimes Donald Brown’s escort of that run?

  59. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

Say . . . Is Jordan Cameron just fantastic or what? How could he be on the field almost the entire game and not log a reception? Oh, I know . . . . It’s Tannehill’s fault.

  60. bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

I have an idea, let’s spend the next week blaming the QB for this mess.

  61. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Vigil getting a lot of snaps.

13 year old Danny Woodhead singly handily beats the Phins ass! Oh my…LOL

We were playing2 rookie lbs in that drive(Hewitt and vigil)
    Free agent rookies

I know we want to look at young guys
    I appreciate it
    But that says a lot

  64. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

Vigil getting a lot of snaps.

well, this team sure needs a vigil.

  66. bat's avatar bat says:

I have a better idea. Let’s spend the next week ignoring the many flaws of our QB and blaming anything and everything for his failures. …And I am well aware that the rest of the team and staff sucks and he isn’t the only problem ..but he is a problem and not an insignificant one.

    • bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

OK Fine. Then what is your solution. He will be the QB next year. That is the reality. Instead of blaming him, how about offering a solution?

  67. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

    Holy crap, TE sighting.

  68. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

    There he is Mike!

  69. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

you admit need to put a roulette wheel on here and spin it every morning and let the wheel pick the topic of who we blame for the day is but make it a big wheel there is a lot to go on

  70. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

So basically our OL is 4 guards and Fox?

  71. bat's avatar bat says:

Bookman … I am not paid to offer solutions. Nor am I qualified to do so. I only make observations and offer opinions. My opinion, based on my observations is that we will never win with Hennehill because by the time we are able to assemble the super talent that he needs around him to be successful, he will have to retire.

  72. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    Where Is Cameron today?

  73. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Tanny is 1 tough hombre. Most sacked QB in the NFL the past 4 seasons. Yet he’s still truckin. Hats off to ya true grit!

Maybe he’ll get a real team and real OL around him before his career is up.

  74. bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

Bat, since you are not qualified to offer solutions, could it be you are also not qualified to assess the QB situation?

  75. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    bat,

know who else they never won with cause of a lack of a talented football team. that shitty ass marino dude. i know i know, he sucked too. i have no idea why marino couldnt make this team a playoff winner

  76. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Parker finally looking like a keeper and in sync with Tanny….build on it.

  77. bat's avatar bat says:

GDP … Not every QB needs perfect conditions in order to thrive. Hennehill is far from irreplaceable.. QB’s that can ring up 5-8 wins are a dime a dozen. Why not try for better?

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

I’m sure they’ll try to find better, but not with an early draft pick when you have GLARING holes everywhere else on the team.

  78. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Packers get the win….got tired of screwing around with Jokeland.

  79. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I would trade Suh to any team who wants him. Get a 1st RD pick, or two 2nd RD picks, but he’s made just as much difference on the D as Tanny has on the O

  80. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Nice keep by Tanny for the TD….sucks he couldn’t block for himself there, but nice run.

  81. bat's avatar bat says:

Bookman .. I’ll repeat myself and hope I can be more clear. I am qualified to offer an opinion on the QB situation. It is not a special power that must be earned. Others are welcome to disagree with me, also without any specific training or qualifications.

  82. bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

Bat, and who are they going to replace him with that is better?

  83. bat's avatar bat says:

Hennehill = Marino … Yes ..excellent point ..How did I ever miss that? …

  84. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

QB’s that can ring up 5-8 wins are a dime a dozen.

yes they are. and qb’s that can ring up 12-13 wins are almost impossible to find. if tanny is a failure as you think, then how many qbs is that since marino. when does one just say fuck it, we wont find another elite qb so lets concentrate on building the rest of the team and just deal with an average qb.

  85. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

    WTG Steelers….woot. Screw the Jests!

  86. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    bat,

if you think i said henne or tanny = marino in any way shape or form then yeah you did completely miss my point.

i dont know how much more clear i can be. i have said over and over. the dolphins had what i think is the best pure passing qbs and one of the best overall qbs to ever play the game. and since they didnt have a complete team around him they never won shit.

  87. bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

Bat, I am also then qualified to do the same. The QB position is one of the least of our worries.

  88. bat's avatar bat says:

Bookman … What exactly has Hennehill accomplished here that makes him such an essential commodity? Average to below average QB’s are not hard to come by. There are no guarantees but the bar is certainly not high.

  89. bat's avatar bat says:

Bookman .. Of course you are, as I indicated previously.

  90. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    bookman11 says:
    December 20, 2015 at 7:35 pm

Bat, and who are they going to replace him with that is better?

your are not. and even if you could replace him with a rodgers or someone like that. so what, i dont think i have ever seen rodgers play on defense. but that is just me being stupid and ‘defending’ the fins average qb cause i want to address all the flaws of this team. not just the one

  91. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

One step closer to a top 10 draft pick.

  92. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

    Bat

Tannehill accomplished getting through a season without a wheelchair with this shit team and it’s awful O-line

  93. Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

BTW – I played Danny Woodhead against us today. Smart move?

  94. bat's avatar bat says:

rob … You are using a hall of fame QB to excuse poor play by Hennehill. When the talent is close to equal, then it is a valid comparison. Marino was greatness hampered by those around him. Hennehill is part of the problem along with those around him.

  95. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

wow, two minutes to go and big rape throws a horrible stupid pass. maybe the fins can trade for him.

  96. bookman11's avatar bookman11 says:

Bat, my question was, who do you suggest we get to replace him? It is not like he has not been productive. This offensive scheme sucks. The coaching sucks. the O-line sucks…the Defense has under achieved but replace the QB…yep that should work.

  97. bat's avatar bat says:

    Mike … And that got us what? … 5 wins? ..6? …

  98. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

Tannehill is one of the fastest runners at QB in the league. Last year he was our second leading rusher. He out ran the LBs and crashed over the DB on the TD run. He is very tough and has enough wiggle to make defenders miss sometimes. We should be able to use that creatively.

  99. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I would probably focus On Other areas in 2026 than an

But I think Tannehill is a full blown disaster and I think Bat’s criticism is merited
I just think we have to accept that for a little while
    Unless he is better

i don’t know what his stats are
But I didn’t think Tanny had a bad or a good game
So I’m guessing his stats are worse than his performance

The team looked bad today from start to finish

  100. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Big Ben with a chance to close out the win throws a dumb pick. Even the elite’s make stupid mistakes.
