The Wedge Scouting Report: Joey Bosa, DE

Want to know what an Intergalactic Alien does in his downtime?

Exactly what you think he does.

I’m a bullfighter in my off time

WedgeBullfighter2

AHH THE RUSH!!!

You make eye contact with the beast

You dance with the Beast

You WIN

But there is one bull I will never fight…

the dreaded TAU CETI E BULL.

I’m not suicidal…this bull has taken off more tentacles than you can imagine.

Bosa4

Speaking of dangerous beasts, the NFL draft is full of beasts that will dominate opposing offensive lines.

Take Ohio State Defensive End Joey Bosa.

Or better yet…run for your life from Joey Bosa.

This beast has a chance to be the #1 pick in the 2016 NFL draft.

Bosa6

And with good reason, this monster racked up 26 sacks and 51 tackles for a loss in the last three season.

He literally ran over offensive tackles like a bull staring at a red cape.

Truth be told though, even if he never posts a double digit sack season in the NFL.  He will make his presence known in the NFL.

He will do it by stuffing the run …where he is elite!

Bosa5

Bosa doesn’t go around you.  Bosa comes right at you, with a powerful bull rush.  Offensive Tackles end up getting push back into their quarterbacks from time to time.

And his hand technique is something else…maybe its hood technique in his case…

Bosa is a local.  He is from Earth like most of you.  So there is that…

But he has even closer roots to the Dolphins than that.

Like many other prospects this year, he has family ties to the NFL.

Joey Bosa’s dad, John Bosa played for the Dolphins in the 80s.  His uncle is infamous Dolphins bust Eric Kumerow

Joey Bosa attended St. Thomas High School in Ft. Lauderdale, the lauded football school that Michael Irvin, Geno Atkins, Giovanni Bernard, Phillip Dorsett, Lamarcus Joyner, Marcus Gilbert and Brian Picocolo all went to.

Bosa2

You would think they built Bosa in a lab where they make monsters who blow up offensive lines.  He is probably the ideal 4-3 Defensive End at 6-5 275 pounds.

I’ve seen him compared to JJ watt and Jared Allen.  If Bosa has a career ike either of those two he is truly deserving of the #1 pick in the draft.

But rumor has it…he won’t be the #1 pick…and he actually might slide a little bit.

Maybe Bosa even comes back to South Florida to punish Tom Brady.

Bosa3

No matter where he ends up

He is a true destructive weapon.

If Bosa was an Alien Weapon of Destruction, he would be the dreaded TAU CETI E BULL!

Better run!!!

They found a bag of weed in the hotel room which he claims was not his and there were several people partying in the room before the window fall. When conps came people left and cops found the weed. Room was booked in nkemdiche name so he took the fall for it.

I’ve used that excuse many times as a young bloke 😉

      • D's avatar D says:

As I understand it though the drug tested him and he passed. If it was his wtf don’t you think he would tested positive? I tend to believe him because he never had other issues and a lot of times in college you hang out with some people who aren’t always the best influence.

  2. D's avatar D says:

Naples. Demarcus had issue at UF for sure but his receiving ability and athletic traits are undeniable. As a later round selection he would be worth the risk and I think his immaturity could be managed

  3. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

kem dee chee runs a 4.87 40 and caught a TD pass on a flare in the flat at 6’3 297 pounds w/ a 35 vetical, long arms, big hands, and did 28 reps on the bench. Fresh and never injured.

  4. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

I like Eli Apple as much as Hargreaves. He’s much taller and longer.

  5. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

    Pig
I would trade down and take Apple or any of several others. What could we get for trading down to sayyy 20?

  6. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

Apples is ranked 18th by CBS, Nkemdiche is 25th and LB Floyd is 24th,.Alexander is 22nd. Spence 26, Ogbah 27, Dodd 29 and William Jackson 30.

I’d take any of them at 20 – 24. Would that get us a second rounder at #20?

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

I’m very sold on Dodd & Ogbah. I’d be willing to take either, even @ #13

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

More like a 3rd or 4th depending how far down. But if you still like the pool down that far you can do it. This draft is deep with good prospects, very few elite.

  7. naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

I don’t want lots of picks just to get a lot of good to OK guys. We have had that. It gets you 8-8 at best. I want to trade all our late round picks and move up in the 3rd and 4th and get a couple of very good players. Guards and Safeties or a WR like Peake or a RB like Drake.

    Naples

I don’t know who the best bc is frankly

I like Hargreaves, Apple and Alexander

Trading down and picking a bc might work well

  13. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    Ken

I think you make a big mistake generalizing character issues

Nkemdiche does. It have a history of character issues

He just got drink and fell out of a hotel window

Improbably came close to falling out of a few windows in my college days

Now in my woes old age I still get drunk but I stay away from windows…
    😀

He’s not a character risk IMO

  14. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

NFL Media’s Daniel Jeremiah sees Ole Miss WR Laquon Treadwell as a nice fit for the Detroit Lions following Calvin Johnson’s retirement.
“The Lions need to add some size, and Laquon Treadwell would be a good fit, but nobody is going to be close to Calvin Johnson,” Jeremiah said.

Possible trade down opportunity for Miami to #15 or #16, the Rams also need a WR. But they could do the trade down with Oakland unless Oakland wants to stay put.

Good ole Sperm Edwards says the Dolphins have had 4 coaches in the last 5 yrs…Like we change coaches every yr. Come on man! We had Philbin for 3+ yrs, then interim and now a new coach, that’s how it works Hermie. Should we have stayed with Philbin for another 2 yrs, just so we could say we’ve only had 1 coach for 6 yrs?

Stability is WAY OVERRATED IF YOU’VE GOT A HORRID COACH!! –SAME IS TRUE at the GM position. The key is to PICK THE RIGHT GUYS FOR BOTH POSITIONS IN THE FIRST PLACE!! Did Edwards say Ross is “batting OFER in BOTH POSITIONS?”

  17. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Just watched the first qtr of Alabama vs Ole Miss. Nkemdiche has some skills, but he’s out of position playing inside. When he can use his quickness he makes plays, but mostly he gets tied up inside. He looks like a 3-4 DE. We don’t need him, unless we’re going to play him at DE, in which case he should drop 20 lbs.

  18. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott was a “show-stealer” at Ohio State’s pro day on Friday, according to NFL Media senior analyst Gil Brandt.
Brandt tweeted out his high praise of Elliott after speaking with scouts. Part of the show came when Elliott took part in catching drills with QB Cardale Jones. “Caught the ball extremely well,” noted the longtime NFL guru. A vine that’s sure to go viral showed Elliott (in warm-ups) catching a pass one-handed while talking on the phone and standing next to HC Urban Meyer. Meyer swatted at the pass to no avail. The 6-foot, 225-pound Elliott’s almost certainly going to be the first running back off the board come April’s draft. There’s even been talk of him being selected with a top-10 pick.

  21. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

On Friday, the NFL distributed 33 compensatory draft picks to a total of 13 teams.
This year’s big winners are the Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers, who each scored four new draft picks. Third-rounders, all four of which fall just inside of the top-100, were awarded to the Detroit Lions (95), Patriots (96), Seattle Seahawks (97) and Denver Broncos (98). These picks cannot be traded, but that rule is being changed in 2017 to allow the swapping of compensatory picks.

GDP: Ezekiel Elliott, “The Buckeye Bullet,” is the BEST running back to come out of OHIO STATE since Eddie (Heisman) George. While Tannenbaum apparently wants to roll the dice with Anderson, I believe that, barring injury, Elliott is the better choice.

Falling out of a hotel window does tend to cause a bit of scrutiny, college athlete or not.

pretty sure i never said it didnt or nothing of the sort. just said ken saying he was never caught isnt the same thing as the scrutiny these college football players are under.

    • herdfan's avatar herdfan says:

Yes, I read that the first time. My point is, very likely he never would have been caught with weed or anything else that occasion if he hadn’t fallen out a window. It had nothing to do with scrutiny of being a college athlete.

great. i agree. and what you just said has nothing to do with the scrutiny athletes go thru compared to just any other student.

  35. herdfan's avatar herdfan says:

LOL….I thought the conversation was about getting caught with weed after falling out a window. I didn’t realize it was about the media’s unwarranted attention on college athletes.

  36. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

LOL i dont know what conversation you are talking about. i just said to ken that he didnt have to go thru the scrutiny that college athletes have too. you were the one having a different conversation

  37. D's avatar D says:

Wonder if we should kick the tires on Roddy White as a 4th receiver. I personally would rather just draft a guy, but Roddy White does provide that big bodied guy who could line up opposite Parker and give us a pretty scary big target receiving set.

  38. Ken's avatar Ken says:

I was going to respond to FFR that my point was to Piggy that the type of behavior had nothing to do with being a college kid but it self destructive behavior which is a lot more than just college kids doing dumb shit. Somehow FFR has turned this into a debate on the scrutiny college athletes have which has nothing to do with the point I was making. But it looks like Herd has this covered. I am going to let her roll.

      I don’t know

      I think drinking is fun
      Not self destructive

And sometimes dumb things happen when you do it

      And that is what happened

I can’t judge a guy who is probably more tame to me in college

      I didn’t fall out windows
But that is bc I was more skilled in my debauchery….lol

      • Ken's avatar Ken says:

Drinking is fun and I did a lot of in college and I still managed not to fall out a hotel window especially while I was carrying illegal narcotics on me. To me it is a major red flag. I would steer clear. I think there are deeper problems with him.

  39. Ken's avatar Ken says:

I think Elliot is a talent but not sure spending a 1st round pick on a RB is what is best for the team.

  43. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Dak Prescott was arrested for DUI today

To me that’s a red flag
Noah Spence being addicted to exctasy, another red flag

But drinking stupid with you college friends
    Not really unsullied IMO

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

Drinking to the point where he have no comprehension of your surroundings and can’t perform a basic task such as not fall out a window is a different story than tying on a good one. That is more akin to a DUI which is self destructive behavior as he could have caused serious injury to himself. I also doubt this was the first time he was that out of control.

  44. finfanrob's avatar finfanrob says:

    piggy

sorry my friend but i dont care what your topic list is. you cant fall out of windows. you can just fly to the ground. the only agenda that is important are the snobby admins that actually fall to the ground.

But he very recently made an appearance

  45. Ken's avatar Ken says:

LOL @ Piggy. You have seen thru my agenda. I want 7 OL out of this draft. My 1st round preferences are as follows:

    1 Jack
    2 Stanley
    3 Hargreaves
    4 Lawson

We wind up with one of them and Hulk will be happy.

  46. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I’m not sure Conklin or Spriggs are not good as Stanley

Jack is also my ideal pick
    Or Ramsey

    But that won’t happen
    I think those 2 are top 5

    Lawson is good
But agains I’m not sure a host of DEs are not as good as him:
    Dodd, Ogbah or Calhoune

Lawson may be gone between 8-12
So if he was better than the other DEs I think we gave up our shot at him

Lawson jumps out at me as the guy we may have given up a shot to get with the trade down

    That and he best CB

    Here’s the thing about CB
Alexander, Hargreaves and Apple are all good
1 will be the best of the group
But you may as well throw a dart at the board on that one

I don’t know that any of the 3 jump out as better Han the other

  47. Ken's avatar Ken says:

but according to ken and herd i miss everything. i cant even stick to their topics.

You would be very lonely if we drafted any RB this year in the first!

    • olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

WYOMING: I’d actually prefer NOT to draft a running back in round 1. –But T-Baum’s decision to let Lamar Miller walk has changed things dramatically. Proven Loser Tannenbaum has decided to cast his lot with Anderson. IF Anderson has a terrific year in Miami, T-Baum will be proven right. But what if Anderson has just a so-so year? –And, of course, what happens if Denver matches Miami’s offer?? Then, we’re down to Ajayi, an option which, most believe, is inadequate.
      ———-
I believe Ezekiel Elliot could be the elite back Miami has not had since Ricky Williams’ heydays. Better, perhaps, than Miller. And better than Anderson, or an Anderson/Ajayi combination (which would become the Elliot/Ajayi combination if Anderson ends up back in Denver). –I guess we’ll know pretty soon if Elway’s going to match Miami’s offer for Anderson. If he DOES MATCH IT, I’d say take “The Buckeye Bullet” in round 1 (if available). If Elway DOES NOT MATCH Miami’s offer, I guess the best option would be from the following 4 needs; an O-Lineman; a Linebacker; a Defensive end or a Defensive back in round 1. That would leave us with Anderson and Ajayi as our top 2 backs, a scenario I’m NOT sold on. But, in the final analysis, I hope T-Baum’s right and I’m wrong about the relative value of Anderson vs. “The Bullet.” –If T-Baum’s right, Miami should be OK at running back. But, when it comes to T-Baum, I’m always skeptical, and that’s based on his RECORD. –It’s not personal, it’s business!!

My thoughts on the best @ R1P13

If everyone plays by the book
    *Mackensie Alexander
    Jack Conklin
    Reggie Ragland
    Darron Lee
    Shaq Lawson
    Laquon Treadwell
should be there when we pick?

I don’t think Conklin makes it!

I see it as between Lawson and Lee

I think we can get a DE later easier than we can get a LB.

Take your pick though! I will be happy with either!!!!!!!!!!

  57. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

you still have options later that I think would be just as good as Miller
    RB DEVONTAE BOOKER – UTAH
RB KENNETH DIXON – LOUISIANA TECH
    C.J. PROSISE – NOTRE DAME
    RB JOSH FERGUSON – ILLINOIS

But this is not the year of the RB
Next years RB class is going to be SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  58. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Basically Miller targeted a team that commits to the running game and HOU is one of those teams. Even though we have a new coaching staff and nobody knows how the running game will be utilized, Miller didn’t want to take any chances and he decided to go in another direction. So it likely wasn’t just about the money but HOU sweetened the pot anyway.

I for one wish Miller well and hope he gets the opportunity he’s looking for. By the way he didn’t really take a parting shot at us like this article suggests.

I hold these kids accountable for their actions but I’m acknowledging kids do stupid shit. Spence bothers me some because he had several instances of misconduct before and after the suspension. I’m even on board with showing some forgiveness to him I just would rather have him be a second round selection to make the risk fit the reward. Nkemdiche has one incident, which almost every one of these guys have to their credit. I listened to their interviews from combine and none of them worry me extensively

  61. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

With Tunsil, Ramsey, Jack, and Stanley pretty much guaranteed to be top 10, my short list of 1st round players for us would be as follows…

Vernon Hargreaves, Jack Conklin, Reggie Ragland at #13
    or
William Jackson III, Jason Spriggs, Jonathan Bullard in a trade down.

Not only that, I saw Prisco on an interview with Finsiders awhile back and he was saying he thought Gase was a good hire and that Tannehill would flourish under him. Then he makes this pick. LOL

        Yeah that’s pretty dumb

  63. D's avatar D says:

Bullard is a beast too, much like Nkemdiche. He may not be as gifted and dominate when Nkemdiche is on, but he is going to consistently bring it every play. If go as far as to say Bullard has the highest motor of any of this draft class of DE prospects.

  64. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

LMAO @ Prisco! He’s also horrible with his spread & straight up picks every week. I beat him all the time.

  65. uwantwat's avatar uwantwat says:

Correct me I’m wrong but haven’t the last few ILB outta Satan’s team not lived upto the hype. Rolando McLain has been sketchy and I think last year’s McKinley(sp) hasn’t been mentioned much. I’m starting to think it must be their DLs are great or merely the scheme they play.Personally, I wouldn’t take Ragland.

  66. uwantwat's avatar uwantwat says:

Paxton Lynch to us? Whatever for, that is laughable.

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

We do need a backup QB.I’ve been thinking Brandon Doughty, Jeff Driskel, or Brandon Allen in the late rounds.

    • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

      It would take a first

And that’s the kind of first round pick that you wouldn’t see the benefit of anytime soon

      Love or hate Tanny
The team could draft Lynch worth the idea to develop him over a few years
To either trade him or Have him replace Tanny
      It’s a huge risk
      I don’t think you spend a 1st in that

If anything you try what The patriots tried with Mallett
Which I. Theory might net you a higher pick in a couple of years
In that case though – it failed

I mentioned drafting a qb early months ago (and it made a lot of people grumpy) but the idea to that was a new HC wanting to go in q different direction. I’m not getting that from Gase. He seems to want to work with Tanny.

So picking a qb early has to be viewed as an investment for at least a couple of years. And I don’t see it happening

Maybe we pick up a backup later in the draft
I’m not real impressed with the options

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

These guys are supposed to be professionals, yet they write crap like this:
The team’s eight draft picks will cost around $6.5 million, meaning the team has about $20.8 million they can spent on free agents this year, or roll into the season for injury coverage and, potentially, roll into the 2017 salary cap.

These same hacks write the same crap every yr on what the rookies cost against the cap and it isn’t close to accurate. The $6.5M is a gross cap number, when you add a player for $2M, like it’s going to cost us for the #13 pick, you don’t add that number straight into the cap, you have to subtract the bottom contract off, which in our case is about $450K – $525K.

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

      $20.8M to shop with…Hmmm.
Sign a upper tier RG….Geoff Schwartz.
A mid tier CB (Josh Robinson or Patrick Robinson)
Also maybe sign more depth @ LB, DE.
Roll the rest over to next year.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

The rest of the signings should be bargain depth type of moves, something that wasn’t done last yr, and we saw the results in the first preseason game and it never stopped.

  71. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

People need to realize that the way our team is set up we are not built for 3-4 years from now. We’re built for a 2 year window. You don’t carry the salaries we do for the future. We’re a win now team whether you think we are or not. If we don’t accomplish playoffs and a run at a championship in the next 2 years we’ll likely be doing what the Eagles are currently doing, rebuilding the entire foundation.

Unless a team is totally void of talent which we are not, no team is on a 3-4 year plan. Too much changes with FA and the draft year to year. It’s not like back in the old days when you built a team you would have for 5+ years. It’s impossible to do that now.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Not impossible, Jax seems to have had a longer plan with $80M to spend, unless you pull a Marlins move.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

They were a team void in talent and started to rebuild their foundation from scratch two years ago. They’re in that 3rd year for them to push for a playoff spot. We already blew two years of Albert’s deal, and one of Suh, Tannehill and Pouncey’s 2015 deals and Jones and Wake will be up next year. Williams is signed for two years. We’re set up for now.

We’re not built the same way as JAC but they’re at the same point we are with a team built more on the draft and longer term FAs they started with the last two years. They’re younger than us overall.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

The day we signed Suh, we were instantly put in win now for 6 yrs.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Suh was signed to help us get over the hump this year. We shit the bed not because of him, the team wasn’t as good as projected and the coaching was in disarray and that’s why we are we’re at. But playoffs is the goal for this team in 2016 and anything other than that will be a failure. Teams starting over have a longer window.

    • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

You build around a star QB. Tanny is still young with lot of talent.
Gase needs to help him realize all that potential. If he does, then you can ride a streak of in contention for years.
If not, then you cut bait & find another QB.But I think Tanny gets this year & 2017 to make it or break it.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Getter, the point was you don’t pay a DT $20M per yr when you’re in rebuilding mode.

  72. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

The beat writers have been saying that after 2016 we can cut ties with RT, if he doesn’t pan out, but we’ll still have $11M dead money after this yr.

Doesn’t really mean anything, because they all have over $10M in dead money and are key players for us in 2016. Now if Mando had said Dion Jordan had money fully guaranteed today that would be news. I know he just reporting, but there’s no significance to it.

  74. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

I don’t get what you guys see in Miller. I would’ve like to have kept him for the right price, but he doesn’t pass the eye test, and you can’t run him when the run is expected. As soon as he gets a couple of nice runs the D keys on him and shuts him down, he’s not good after contact.

If I looked at his stats I’d feel real good, if I was a Houston fan, but wait until they need him and he doesn’t deliver. There’s a reason he only carried about 13 times per game.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Yeah because we only ran the ball 21.5 times per game total last in the league.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

We stopped running the ball in 2nd halves, because it was winning time and the run wasn’t working. I know you still need to run the ball, but they chose not to, because they didn’t like the production they were getting at that stage of the game, hardly a good sign for Houston.

  75. getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

Steve, you’ve said this before on Miller, & I think you’re way wrong.
Miller only had 13 carries a game because Lazor installed a very flawed system & his play calling was even worse. I doubt even AP would’ve been all that on the 2014& 15 team.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

We stopped running the ball when it was working when we were tied or down by one score. It made no sense however you slice it. Miller had plenty of games with 15+ touches where he was explosive throughout the game. It was a bad philosophy.

  76. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Look at the players we’re adding, it’s obviously FA so yes the pool are experienced players, but we’re trying not to be as green as we were last year. This is an experienced team we’re building. We had too many youngins not ready to play significantly, playing significantly last season. We don’t have time for a lot of guys to go through 1-2 year learning curves. Young players who do play have and will have earned it by stepping up their game sooner than later.

  77. D's avatar D says:

Benardrick McKinney had a nice year last year for the Texans. But he’s from Miss St not Alabama. Alabama’s lbers have had decent NFL turnout. One of the more lone exceptions being McClain, and when he is on the field isn’t bad, he just can’t seem to keep himself out of trouble and focused on his profession.

  78. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Players we have signed, restructured and retained so we don’t have to rely on young/green players both already on our team and in the draft:
    DE Williams
    LB Alonzo
    CB Maxwell
    S Abdul-Quddus
    Restructuring Misi
    Retaining Wake at the moment

OL Bushrod to experiment at LG
OT Young a 6 year journeyman with experience to be a backup tackle
    Restructuring Cameron
    Offer to C.J. Anderson

We’re still sending feelers out there for more gap fillers.

    • olddolphan's avatar olddolphan says:

YES,BUT, we’ve got gaps that are 100 times wider than Michael Strahan’s two front teeth.

      • getterdone's avatar getterdone says:

        LOL, nice visual.
But c’mon, we got more talent than one might think. Again, the reason this team failed recently, was because of Philbin, Lazor, & Coyle. Was poorly ran on both sides of the ball, and that makes many players, especially depth guys look untalented….IMO.

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

        Weird analogy but okay. LOL

    Offense:
    LT Albert
    LG Bushrod
    C Pouncey
    RG?
    RT James
    TE Cameron

    WR Landry
    WR Parker
    WR Stills

    QB Tannehill
    RB Anderson?/Ajayi

    Defense:
    LDE Williams/Wake
    LDT Suh
    RDT Mitchell/Phillips
    RDE Williams/Fede/Moore

    SOLB Misi

    WOLB Jenkins

    CB Maxwell
    CB?
    S Jones
    S Abdul-Quddus

    K Franks
    P Darr
    LS Denney

Now what we want to do is add more competition in FA and then draft some future studs. We’re not a team with a lot of holes. We need to hit on some upgrades and real good impact players in the draft. We also have a bunch of young players who could take that next step.

I’m not predicting anything, just going with the flow of how we’re retooling our team around the core. I have no idea what we’ll look like heading into camp or how they will perform in the RS. Just know it’s going to be about 15-20 new players and new systems.

None of us know who we are as a team yet.

I don’t expect him to cost us much

        A 3rd rounder
        A 4th rounder

One of the few impact players that might be left after we get out of round 3

Right now our LBs are just going to compete with the vets unless it’s some one like Ragland who would probably start

If we went DE and CB in the first 2 rounds
And Scooby was there in the 3rd
And he’s the player I think he might be

And we had 3 defensive starters in the first 3 rounds
That would be a heck of a draft

  83. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Looking at that list above Tim posted

You can see how a 1st round CB or DE can really add to the team

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Yep! As much as you want a LB and I believe we will draft one or two along the way, just don’t know where, we let Spence leave without a deal. So we’re in low end deal mode as of now in FA. There will also be June 1st cuts we will look at.
