Welcome to the Dolphins, now where are you going to play?

dolphins_flag

What a draft, what an off season! The Dolphins finally flipped the script and used the Free Agency period to fill glaring holes rather than try to make a splash. They drafted players to fit a system being installed rather than drafting good talent but not necessarily a scheme fit as we saw so many times in the past. Actually this is the third straight very good draft which is unusual for the Dolphins. Coach Gase is a modern day offensive minded coach which means he is going to pass the ball, likely, more than he’ll run it. In comes the best offensive lineman in the draft followed by a bunch of potential play makers who will fit in nicely with the play makers already on the team. The aggressive Defense to be installed needs a strong and aggressive defensive line to get to opposing quarterbacks quickly so that cover corners aren’t left to cover one on one for five seconds. In comes an aggressive sacker in Mario Williams and veteran Andre Branch. Then of course the addition of bigger corners such as Maxwell who came via trade and the young Xavien Howard from the draft. However an argument can be made for almost every player picked up as to where they will play.

Let’s start with the Defense. The significant players added were :

Mario Williams 3tktpgf– DE – Williams has flexibility across the D-line particularly at both DE positions. So will he play RDE or LDE, will he start on the left and move to the right to bring Wake in to rush the passer, perhaps he plays mainly on the right and doesn’t switch around much at all.

Andre Branch – DE – Same situation with Branch as with Mario, is Branch an early down run-stopper who gives way to Wake and Williams on passing downs?usa-today-9012487-0

Byron Maxell – CB – Expected to be the number one Corner but Byron is a player with flexibility as well, should  one of the other CB’s stand out maybe Maxwell gets moved around situationally.

Kiko Alonso – LB – Middle Linebacker right? Probably and most likely but there is the chance he plays outside although less likely now than before the draft when EVERYONE thought we’d draft a  Linebacker maybe even a MLB.

Isa Abdul-Quddus – S – OK he’s a Safety, but is he a starter or a role player and ST ace?

Xavien Howard – CB – Will the rookie show enough to earjsheltonxavienhowardgoodyearcottonmlzkjorpspwlrn the spot opposite Maxwell? If not what sort of role will he play? Back-up, Nickel, let’s hope the rookie takes care of business.

Chris Jones – DT  – A productive run stopper who comes to a crowded position. Suh will play the majority of snaps so Jones will battle for time with the veteran Earl Mitchell and last year’s second round pick, Jordan Phillips among a host of others. Can Jones take some snaps at DE potentially?

Jordan Lucas – DB – Listed as simply DB on the teams official roster they don’t even know if he’s a Safety or a CB. Best of luck to this rookie we can only hope that he is a player that will make his presence known.

The significant players added to the offense:

Brandon Doughty – QB – LOL, jbb

Laremy Tunsil – T – The best Olineman in the draft (we can say that because we drafted him) but will he start his career as a Guard or move a vet off of one of the Tackle spots?

790f93561c3f3284Kenyan Drake – RB – Is this guy an every down back? Likely not going to be asked to be but does he become a third down back or does he split carries with Ajayi? Will he be a kick returner and supplant Jarvis Landry from that role?

Leonte Carroo -WR – What the heck is this guy going to do? Does he go in the slot and allow Jarvis to work more on the outside? Does he push for time as a starter and play on the edge. This is a good looking rookie and with Jarvis here it will be hard for him to have the similar impact Jarvis had but there should be ample opportunity for this rookie to turn some heads.

Jakeem Grant
– WR – Good things come in small packages, possibly the most exciting new player to the team. Already naming rights wars have begun. Speed, elusiveness, quickness, incredible poar-151109495wer and a spirited drive that may prove to be a huge force in this team clearing the hurdle of nobody to contender. We see 5’6 and 170 pounds, Jakeem sees himself as one of the biggest strongest guys on the field. You gonna tell him he isn’t? I didn’t think so. But what will he do? Slot, Hback, returner, deep threat. Who cares just get in the endzone grANTman ©.

Griff Whalen – WR –  Up until the draft this FA pick up looked like a 4th or 5th receiver who came to the team with experience and knowledge of OC Christenson’s offense but he may have been out talented as the draft results came in. It will be a tough battle for a spot as a 6th now.bushrod_inside052514

Jermon Bushrod – T – FA acquisition who has only played as a Tackle but this vet may be able to win a starting position as a Guard. Or is he here as insurance only for the T position?

Sam Young – T – Same as Bushrod, but Young would appear to be the one who is in fact a mere T backup. He does however add needed depth and keeps Fox and Columbo out of football.

Thomas Duarte – TE – Now I think everyone has to temper expectations with this kid due to size and the uphill battle any 7th rounder faces as he enters the league but did you see his highlight clips? Dude can run and catch the ball and he makes people miss. He shows a lot of promise thus far.

The Defensive additions are made up of mostly veterans with Williams as the biggest name acquisition but even he came from a team that had just cut him so we didn’t splurge hugely for even him even though he pocketed a handsome sum. The thinking for the defense was to add vet’s who could come in and lock down positions and make the D functional and hopefully better than last season.

The Offense got an infusion of spices from a variety of angles but mostly with drafted playmakers. The offensive line might not be so offensive anymore with the additions made with Tunsil, Bushrod and Young to go along with Turner and Douglas who show promise. Drake and Ajayi make for a very young but talented 1-2 punch in the back5d0b29be76554a6b80ed1b7088a974ba-fc32dc17e8b34938a224936aa6c36752-0field while Carroo and Grant add to the arsenal that already includes Jarvis Landry and the emerging Devante Parker.

The scouting is done, the picks are in now everything gets handed to a shiny new rookie Head Coach. Coach and his staff will have to make the tough decisions about who plays where and stays or goes. All we can say as long suffering Dolphin fans is that we hope the plan works, fits the players and that the players play their ass off in it. Due to results of the last many seasons production of koolaid has been halted until there is a bonafide reason to do so. Not that you can’t have your own private still but sanctioned koolaid production has been halted for the benefit of all involved.

Congratulations to Jarvis Landry for being recognized by his peers as one of the top 100 players in the league. Welcome to the top kid and it seems like you’ll continue to climb every year.

Enjoy!

Let’s have a large turnout for the annual Fest, vote up above – see you there!

Wake’s 70 sacks in his seven seasons with the team is tied for fourth-most in the NFL during that span.

Look forward to your return big guy….

    Go EarthWake #91 !

    • markeyh says:

By far the best move they made this off-season because showing loyalty to a guy who has played his ass off for Miami will send the right message.

      • getterdone says:

Yes, I agree there. This motivates others to want to earn that Wake love that the FO is capable of showing.

    • markeyh says:

Classy move IMO…others will take notice.

  2. markeyh says:

I give Mike Tannenbaum credit he came in and put this team on track with the right structure, hired what appears to be a head coach that might be a young upstart and have created the appearance of a functional organization.

Things appear to be changing for the better IMO.

  3. getterdone says:

Markeyh, put me in the Gase camp. As I think Mike said, at this point anything is better than the four wasted years of the Philbin Phiasco…lol

But I do see some fire in Gase, something that’s lacked until Dan Campbell. I’ve also seen Gase run a competent offense as a play caller. I’ve also seen how Gase has an innate ability to reach the player, get into his head in a positive manner….see Jay Cutler for one example.

    • markeyh says:

“Gase has an innate ability to reach the player, get into his head in a positive manner”

      HUGE!

      • markeyh says:

I always had hope for guys like Sparano and Philbin but with Gase I am a believer and have yet to see proof….

  4. markeyh says:

Dion Jordan any thoughts? Would you trust him?

    • getterdone says:

No one can trust him right no, but only himself. He has to trust in himself to do what is right and become the man he’s capable of being!

I trust that he has abilities that can help this team right now.
I do trust that he’s on the books for one more year, and if he clears reinstatement, then I trust Gase & the other coaches to hold no ill will & start fresh with him on a day to day prove it basis.

Yes, I agree there. This motivates others to want to earn that Wake love that the FO is capable of showing.

yeah, i am sure that 1 player in 496 players they took care of shows the others all sorts of motivations.

and with that said i seriously doubt the fins extended wake to ‘take care of him for his efforts’ they did it cause they thought it was best for the team

Wake has proven himself…and if others do to the extent that he has, both on & off the field, then I can’t see why another person of that magnitude wouldn’t also be treated more than fairly by the franchise.

  7. steveccnv says:

Don’t be surprised to see 2 kick returnees in the game at the same time, if teams are going to be kicking to us high and short.

  8. D says:

GDP, difference in Gase’s intensity and Campbell’s is one is mad scientist intense and the other is retard strong intense.

  9. markeyh says:

The Dolphins should offer Payton Manning an offensive assistant intern position and have him work with Ryan this season IMO…

“It was really cool,” Tannehill said. “A guy that had his career, the living legend he is, coming off a Super Bowl winning season — it was really cool just to be able to sit and pick his brain about things he’s done in this offense and football things in general: snap counts, things you like, the way you want guys to run routes, little details about the game. We really just got to talk the game, which is something we both love.”

    • getterdone says:

Good call. I could go for that….might be a spring board into helping launch Peyton’s future career as a HC or more….that is unless he thinks his best post football skills are humming & singing “chicken parm you taste so good.”

    • steveccnv says:

      Lol at intern 😛

      • markeyh says:

That is the title given to former players trying to transition into coaching he would be no different.

      • steveccnv says:

Give me a break, he’s Peyton Manning. Do you think Marino would ever take that title?

  10. finfanrob says:

    getter,

come on. ‘Wake has proven himself’ what the hell has he done. been on a lot of 500 teams? not show up in big games? have two or three great games a year then not show up for weeks?

wake has done nothing that this team would go out of its way to ‘take care of him’ yeah he has been a good player but that is it. face it the fins extending him is nothing more then a business move. and like i said, even if i was a ‘take care’ move. so what he is 1 out of 500 over the past 5 year or so. doesnt give anyone a lot of hope

    • getterdone says:

Dude, it’s always a business move, but this one is mutually beneficial to them both.
We still need a pass rusher that has, wait for it…. proven himself, regardless of what you say!
Wake still seems capable of playing, so he’ll get money from somewhere, so why not Miami retain him and be the ones to pay a guy already familiar with the team, the franchise, & is a, wait for it….proven leader in the locker room, as well as on & off the field.

So what’s the big deal here? Was the right thing to do was tell him hit the road, you’re too old and we got suspended druggies coming back that will do your job & then some? lol smh

  11. sb7mvp says:

NO MORE EXCUSES FOR KENNY STILLS EITHER!!!

  12. Mike E. says:

    Steve

Anyone who doesn’t like Kenny Stills is looking for shock, but anyone who likes him is logical. Check – Got it. Thanks for clearing that up.

    • steveccnv says:

He did that at other positions too, but you don’t trade a 3rd for someone and just dump him like that, especially when he played very well in Nola. Because you don’t like him you posted the article.

    • steveccnv says:

So you don’t think it’s shock to also say we’re going to have Arian Foster on our team this year? It may happen, but the point is why he’s writing it.

Here’s something he wrote: I just questioned why a team with either aging or question marks at the wide receiver position would be willing to trade him even after moving on from Jimmy Graham.

Anyone that follows the NFL knows the Saints were having a fire sale last yr, dumping players to improve the cap.

  13. olddolphan says:

Yesterday at 7:27 PM KEN ASKED ME “What else were we supposed to (do) for the OL this offseason?” MY ANSWER: GET BETTER PLAYERS, Mr. Hulk!!!
    ————-
Went on a website to get the roster of Guards currently on the team. Neither Bushrod nor Young were listed, so perhaps they’re counted as tackles?? ANYWAY, my concern is the GUARD POSITION, of which NONE were drafted in the recent draft by Miami. SIX guards were listed as being on the roster:

Numbers 1 and 2 were Jamil Douglas and Billy Turner. Both of these guys stunk it up last year and I sure hope we don’t have to start either of them in 2016. These “Sons of Columbo” are the basic revolving doors when they play.

Number 3 was Ruben Carter, a rookie guard out of Toledo. Didn’t see any rave reviews for this guy. NOT in anyone’s Top 10 list of Guards coming out of college that I saw.

Number 4 Jacques McClendon, a six year veteran. In 6 years he’s played for 6 different teams as a back up. He’s started exactly 5 games in 6 NFL seasons.

Number 5 is Vinston Painter, drafted in round 6 of 2013. He was cut loose by the Broncos and has yet to start a single NFL game.

Number 6 is Anthony Steen, who went undrafted in 2014. He has yet to play an NFL game but he has been released 3 times by the Arizona Cardinals.
    ———–
KEN OR PIGGY or anyone else: do you see the next Larry Little or Dwight Stevenson in this group? Do you even see a reliable, dependable, starter in this group?? I don’t..—–
Mrs. OD calling me to dinner. Convince me our guard play will be much improved in 2016. And do it without moving our top draft pick to guard. Tunsil will no doubt be stepping in for the oft-injured Albert before the year is out.

    • D says:

      Reuben Carter is from FSU.

      • D says:

Oh does look like he transferred from FSU to Toledo for his last season. He was a pretty highly touted guy when he came to FSU, i guess i didnt keep up with him, but i recognized the name because FSU and UF were in a battle for him when he was a HS commit.

    • D says:

I think Steen makes the 53 this year. I also think we pick up another vet before TC. I would guess Slausen at this point since Gase is familiar with him, but who knows who might end up becoming available after cuts start

      • olddolphan says:

D: You may be right about Steen making the 53, especially considering the low quality of his competition at the Guard position. And, hey HULKSTER, where’s all the top quality help we were promised at the linebacker spot??
        ———–
I KNOW, “shut-up and don’t complain!” Well, I think the tens of thousands of dollars I’ve spent over the decades on seasons tickets and away games entitles me to call ’em as I see ’em. AND, as I see it, “The Doofus Brigade” is back to their old tricks!

  14. sb7mvp says:

Thought Slauson signed with San Diego.

  15. D says:

OD i get your concern at OG, but with at least one starter moving from OT to OG for next season we should have a solid 4, and maybe 5 if one of Bushrod, Turner, Thomas, or Douglas step up. I really think Steen might push one of those guys out too, maybe even challenge to start, he was an absolute stud on the Alabama OL.

    • olddolphan says:

D: DON’T AGREE with your analysis of steen as an “absolute stud” in college. The NFL doesn’t agree, either, because he went undrafted.

    • steveccnv says:

      D, why bother

      • olddolphan says:

Hey Steve! Doesn’t THE TRUTH JUST PISS YOU OFF??? And the truth is this team is currently not close to having a successful season, which I define as winning at least one playoff game. But, hey, if your version of a successful season is 7-9, well, you should be tickled pink this season.

      • steveccnv says:

You’re not fooling anyone here, you buy season tickets every yr for some reason, then bitch at Ross for everything he does and doesn’t do, and the team in general. Why would you be a season ticket holder and travel 200 miles to go to the games, if you felt that way?

  16. D says:

I see a power back if we want a better option than DT3 in camp. Raijon Neal former UT Rb. Solid power back, cut by Steelers.

  17. D says:

Braxton Cave cut, i remember a few of you liking him last year, golden domer OC.

  18. D says:

Dri Archer waived….somewhere M13 is really excited lol.

    • D says:

Damn i didnt notice that he had already been cut by the Steelers last year, this was a rookie minicamp cut by the Jets, doesnt look good for Archer.

      • olddolphan says:

D: Thanks for the chatter. I’m out for the evening to walk the dogs and get ready for playoff hockey.

OD, I had to LOL @ “Sons of Colombo”, that’s some funny stuff right there…thanks for that belly shaker my friend.
    BTW, Colombo played TACKLE.
Where should we have drafted a OG?

1st? We did draft a O. the best one in the draft, who’ll likely play GUARD next to Albert till Albert is no longer a Phin. Then we have a long term answer to LT.

2nd rd? Guess the FO thought we might want to take a CB here since that group was pretty scarce with 1 former starter.

3rd rd? Guess the FO thought we might want to take a RB here since that group was pretty scarce with NO former starters.

3rd Rd (2)? Guess the FO couldn’t pass up what some considered the best or 2nd best WR in the draft class, and we lost Matthews in FA.

6th Rd-7th Rd? Guess the FO figured we already got GUARDS with better talent already 1-2yrs ahead in DEVELOPMENT than anyone they’d get during this portion of the draft.

So there you have it as it stands for now. Don’t forget we still have more FA to come before week 1, and their will likely be some GUARDS out there that have better talent & experience than those late round OL that you’re missing so much.

If we doubled down on OL within the first 3 rounds & took a GUARD after taking TUNSIL in the 1st, then you’d really see anarchy from the fans accusing the FO of failing to address other positions of need!

I hope this HELPS explain things some and RELIEVES some anxiety my friend. We can’t fix everything all in one offseason.

    GO PHINS!

Gee, you think I posted that article because he said we’ll trade or release Kenny Stills? NFW! YES, Every post I make has an agenda, deal with it. Just showing another fellow Dolphins fan who isn’t thrilled with Stills, and thinks he’s disposable.

    • getterdone says:

I like Stills. Not sure I can see why all the dislike after 1 season under the berserk Lazor offense that hindered others as well.
Kenny had put up some respectable numbers in NO, which is hard to do with all the other weapons Brees had at his disposal.
Before I’d be so quick to write #10 off, one would think it wise to see how he fits in with Gase’s offense, after all he just turned 24 a couple of weeks ago.

No OD – I don’t see Larry Little
I don’t think we need every player on the OL to be a HOFer or even a probowler
I think that is a pretty high standard for an offensive line

I’m not going to make any arguments for anyone on this team including the OGs
our top draft pick was an offensive lineman – and a good one – and that should help the OL improve

we actually invested a lot in the OL between 1st rounders like Pouncey James and Tunsil, 3rd and 4th rounders like Thomas, Turner and Douglas

Ubrik, Bushrod and Tunsil are all listed as OGs on our depth chart currently
Ourlads keeps good updated depth charts
its speculatiove to some extent – but check it out.
this is what Ken was referring too
    http://www.ourlads.com/nfldepthcharts/depthchart/MIA

we really can’t for the future of the team invest anything more than the first round pick of 2016 on OL

We have a ton of other needs
and I’m not so sure we addressed those needs which is a debate for another day

If you spend more than the first rounder on OL in 2016 its like trying to seal the dyke with your finger

Spending multiple early picks on the OL in 2016 is just not realistic

More reason to question trading for Carroo….
    Reply

Why? Stills could possibly leave in FA next year unless we pay him. He’s on the end of his rookie deal.
Plus we lost Matthews to FA this year. Plus as I mentioned to OD above, Carroo was considered by most experts, to be one of the Top 3 WR’s, if not the best one, in this limited class for WR’s.

    • markeyh says:

Because even if he is good he was and is not a need we will deal with next year next year. For this year WR was not a need.

What if Stills blows up this year? Will that pick be better than maybe a young pass rusher or LB?

      • getterdone says:

I mean I see your point, but seems the FO didn’t feel like anyone really was a BPA in the 3rd round @ LB or especially DE at that point with the 86th pick.
Also means they must be thinking Jordan returns as has been discussed ad nauseum here too.

      • markeyh says:

Not to many more eggs in Jordan’s basket…my biggest problem is what they gave up for the kid. our 6th this year and 3rd and 4th next year…..Really?

Piggy, besides adding a few more really special players at any positions your heart desires that would be just wow, what are tons of needs? I still don’t get that. That sounds like we can’t even field a team.

There are a lot of blue chip talents, some up and coming players as well as some depth on this roster, and a new draft class that could be a good one. Where are these many needs you speak of? Just wondering.

    • getterdone says:

Same debate I was having with OD above. We did address many areas of need this offseason & in the draft. You can’t stock every position on the team every offseason.

  30. Mike E. says:

    GDP

That’s fine that you like Stills from what he did in NO, but I’d prefer to look at what he did right here in Miami, with good ol’ #17. I think that’s a more accurate gauge than what he did with NO with Brees, Graham, Colston and Cooks. It’s cool that you want to give him the benefit of the doubt, I don’t.

    • markeyh says:

Last year was a disaster for the team. 6-10 was a team effort compounded by not letting Philbin go the year before and hiring Jim Harbaugh before our owner made sure his Alum get him over the team he owns.

      • Tim Knight says:

You guys were right on with Philbin. He was kept a season too long and it only lasted a quarter of a season last year.

    • getterdone says:

He had 3 TD’s & Avg YPC of 16.3 here last year…with 3 other good WR’s on the team…not sure that qualifies for the trash bin.

      • steveccnv says:

He’s not batching about the stats, nor should he be, even though they we ren’t good. His eye test is spot on though. Stills was not good last yr, we differ, because I don’t believe we saw the real Stills.

I know last year was a disaster, but other receivers here prospered, including Jarvis Landry, Rishard Matthews, Devante Parker etc. Stills had an opportunity here to be the man, while Parker wasn’t ready, and he never stepped up. Why should he get an excuse, while all those other receivers had better seasons, including Parker who missed so much time?

    • Mike E. says:

You said it yourself, if Stills has a good season, he very likely played his way out of here, and if he sucks, he’s gone anyway, right? Under what situation do you think Stills stays here in MIA?

    • getterdone says:

So if Stills was so bad, then why did the FO let Matthews walk? They could’ve cut Stills and resigned Rishard.
Also if Stills is so bad, then why all the moaning over drafting Carroo?

    • markeyh says:

I am not excusing Stills he will always be our # 3 WR behind Landry and Parker and for a #3 option I am sure he is good enough. Carroo will not supplant our top two receivers either so to get him this year was a wasted pick considering the price they paid

      JMHO

      • steveccnv says:

Have you even looked at the draft value chart? 220-160 in our favor. Something not mentioned on the subject, we lost Miller and OV this yr, why wait to next yr to get compensated?

you cant blame stills for last year. i dont know why it is so hard to get, the only person in a truly team game to blame is the qb. stills was absolutely fine last year it was just the qb that sucked.

    • markeyh says:

Tannehill did have a setback last year, but he had steady improvement his first 3 years. Add to that his limited experience coming into the draft, 2 new OC’s and systems now 3 counting this year and I have no issues with the Dolphins sticking with him because there is some upside and untapped potential that Gase just might reach. He is our best option for now.

A man after my own heart. Thanks Homer, Doh’ 🙂

      • markeyh says:

        DOH!

      • markeyh says:

Add to that the dysfunction that Joe Philbin maintained throughout his time in Miami and there are plenty of legitimate excuses for Ryan. All of them seem to be gone. Even keeping the QB coach Mike Sherman’s son in law Zack Taylor who I questioned all the time was no help to Ryan.

I have by my side my 1001 excuses hard back copy I am referencing…

        🙂

There are definitely some people here who support that theory

  35. getterdone says:

    …from a recent Mando blob.
Tannehill is going to get to audible this season. Yippie for Ryan Tannehill! He never complained publicly about not having the full range of that option under Philbin but Tannehill privately hated the constraint the past couple of years. Now, those chains are going to be coming off as the offense progresses.

I hope this true and not just blather because this is important and may be key to many things.

      • getterdone says:

I agree…I hope Gase instills the confidence in him to be able to audible when he sees something that needs changing out of.

      • Tim Knight says:

Agreed. Let’s hope in year 5 at 28 years old in July he gets a chance to play to his strengths for once. Running the ball 10-12 times per game at times was ludicrous.

    Go Heat!!!!

  37. Man, Cromartie is going to have to play football until he’s 60.

  38. Mike E. says:

I never complained about drafting Carroo. I complained about trading away picks. Pay attention. lol

Matthews was an expensive free agent, who basically had one good season. Stills is on his rookie contract. You have to ask me this?

  40. Mike E. says:

    Markey

I could agree with that, although I think Philbin was his problem, and now Phil is gone.

  41. getterdone says:

Don’t quite get your logic Mike. If Matthews was real good, then how was he too an expensive FA for us to sign?
Btw, he got $2.5M in a signing bonus, another $2.5 in incentives if he reaches them.

  42. Rockphin says:

where is Tyler Davis on that depth chart? He get cut already before camp even started? Back on Jan 8th the Dolphins signed German Football league Star / MVP to a futures contract. I didn’t hear anything since then.

  43. steveccnv says:

Markey, Carroo doesn’t have to be a top 2 WR, he just has to make the most of his opertunity. Catch when it’s thrown to you and get open. The difference in games sometimes is when you 3rd and 4th WRS dominate. We’ve seen it in the past, Dallas and Green Bay come to mind.

  44. steveccnv says:

Peyton working with RT is all I need to know about what he thinks of Gase.

  45. Jarvis Landry only scored 4 td’s this past season. He scored 5 the year before. It’s yet to be seen if he’s any kind of scoring threat for the offense. He was targeted 165 times this past season; catching 110 of those passes but the majority of his targets are on short passes because he hasn’t shown he can open deep. So, my question is: do you think defenses are more than happy to let RT throw those short passes to Landry all game long?

  46. So, does Stills assume the role Sanders had with Gase in Denver?

  47. sb7mvp says:

MATTHEWS IS GONE BECAUSE HE RAN OUT OF EXCUSES!

    • steveccnv says:

He left, because of the clueless nature of the team, as did Miller. After reading the why Jordan will be come back player of the year article below, it’s pretty clear that what everyone has been saying about the ineptitude of the former regime is true.

Our situation now screams to me the 49ers situation when Harbaugh took over. Not saying were going to have that quick of a turnaround, but that’s what I’m thinking.

We had a lot of talent last year with no plan on what to do with it.
