Q -Two big wins. One against a possible SB contender and another over a squad that was on a real roll.
But two things in common — cold weather teams playing at The Rock. Yes know the O-line is finally the one we planned on and Ajayi is playing lights out……but could we have been getting a heat factor bounce?
stanger
I think the teams we played, Steelers and Bills probably wore down in the 2nd half somewhat due to the heat, but those long drives we’ve pounded the Steelers and Bills with just wear any team down in any temp. If we only ran well in the 2nd half, sure, you could say the heat was more of a factor, but we ran from GO against both teams.
No reason to minimize what we’ve what done against 2 quality teams. The Steelers beat the Redskins, Bengals and Jets, and dismantled the Chiefs 43-14. They’re no joke, and we if it weren’t for a couple of dropped TD’s and a penalty that cost us another TD, we would have blown the Steelers out by more 20 points ourselves. On the Bills 4 game win streak, they beat 2 excellent teams in the Patriots and Cardinals, and really blew out the 49ers, so the Bills were playing good football coming into our house.
I’m very interested to see how our team comes out of the BYE week against a tough divisional opponent. The Jets always give us fits, and it’s almost a guarantee that we split the series with them. The Jets earned a big win last week against the Ravens, and they have the talent on their front 7 to make it very tough for Ajayi and our run game to succeed. Big test for sure, probably for the big 5 (O-line) who have playing extremely well, Ajayi, and then Tannehill if the Jets stifle our run game. Will he be able to step up and handle the load on his shoulders, if he he has to cary the team on offense w/o a successful run game. It will also be a big test for Adam Gase, to see if he’s willing to commit to the run the entire game, even if it doesn’t yield early dividends. I’m hoping he sticks with it, or Ryan really comes through in his big test if Gase doesn’t.

Q – Mike E,
Will Jay Ajayi make NFL history get his 3rd consecutive 200 yard against the Jets ?
Phindog.
Man, that would be something for the ages brother! I don’t think so, because the Jets do have a lot of talent on their front 7, including Muhammad Wilkerson, Leonard Williams, Sheldon Richardson, and ILB David Harris. ILB Darron Lee is a smaller that guy flies all over the field, but he hasn’t really made a huge impact yet. Both CB’s tackle well, Revis and Skrine, and S Calvin Pryor does as well. The Jets will most likely be looking to stop Ajayi and the run game so although I believe we need to continue to the run the ball, and not be one dimensional, we’re not going to have the success we’ve had the last 2 weeks. I’d be thrilled if Ajayi got over 100 yards, and if he does, I think we’ll come out on top over the Jets. 200 yards is a luxury, but I’ll take 20-25 carry 100 yard game from J-Train.
The Jets are 2nd in the NFL in rushing yards allowed, giving up only 74.1 rushing yards per game, so as you can see, we have our work cut out for us. Like most stats, they are skewed, because although the Jets have been stopping the run, teams have had their way against them through the air, with a 6th worst 283 yards per game average. It’s easy to deduce that their run against stats are so good because teams are just throwing all over them, and that’s probably somewhat true. I say we still run the ball, control the clock as best we can, and RT will need to make the most of his opportunities passing the ball.

Q – Okay so what area of the team do you see the next jump in improvement coming from off the bye? Thank you!
We’re getting some bodies back, and Earl Mitchell will be a boost to the D-line rotation. Mitchell isn’t Suh, but he’s a solid contributor who has been missed. It’s great to be able to rate quality people in and out of the game, so there isn’t a huge drop off when you go to your 2nd string players. With Julius Warmsley being waived, It’s very possible that Mitchell will be back for the Jets game, which makes a DT rotation of Suh, Phillips, Mitchell and Jones. The defense has already improved by the sheer differential in T.O.P. the last couple of games, but a better D-line will make it even better.
I think ST’s will also get a boost with S Bacarri Rambo and Zach Vigil’s return. We’ve been struggling on ST’s quite a bit, both in protection on FG’s and punts, as well as coverage on kickoffs and punt returns. I’m hoping those 2 guys will make a difference.
In the secondary, if Chris Culliver can return to his previous form, he will give that unit a boost. It’s also possible that Bene’ Benwikere will make the depth better too. With Xavien Howard out indefinitely, we need all the help we can get!
As I mentioned in my reply to Doggy, I’m hoping our passing game can build off the success we’ve had with the run game. I’m not saying Tannehill has to throw the ball 30 times, but if he can get some quality throws out of maybe 25 throws against the Jets, who are awful against the pass, that would be great. The Jets defense is stingy against the rush, but like I also mentioned, that’s a little misleading due to their inability to defend the pass. The O-line will need to do as well as they have run blocking in pass protection, because if we can’t run, the Jets will be bringing pressure to rattle Tannehill.
In order, those are the units I expect improvement from . . .
D-line
ST’s
Secondary
Pass offense

Toba, thanks for sending more pics, I didn’t see it until this morning, and it was too late for me to start going through them. I’ll put them in next week’s article. Thanks brother!
Nice job Mike E
Cool pics and nice job Mike.
Is Stanger’s jersey Yeremiah Bell? I doubt it’s A.J. Hendy. LOL
It’s Yeremiah, who rang a few bells during his stay in MIA
Tim — love guys who play the game with passion and smarts, especially those guys who work their way up even if not always stars. Bell was that to me.
Yeah man, he was a fan favorite.
I’ll have more pics next week, Toba sent me a bunch last night.

tim,
i admit i missed sundays game, wont even go into why, hell even i am shocked why i missed it, but watched the pitt game and if that was two weeks in a row i just dont get why this blog has died. it is like it is only fun if you can hate on one single player and since you cant the last two weeks no one has anything to talk about
——————————
Did you have to give your ex-wife your TV?
“Mrs. Hand shows some Dolphins pride!”
LMAO — when I saw the nails was thinking “for sure these two are soul mates.” Was tempted to go into the history of it with her, but wasn’t sure Mike E has explained the full history on why the is the Hand Man. Guy Code and all. 🙂
Oh she knows the whole story. I’m not ashamed, it was funny as hell!
Mike E — and great write, but I’ll still stand up for the heat factor being a part. Keep in mind that even if we were in the shade the guys on the field were not. That screen shot that shows us with 14 minutes of possession meant even more than it would have if the game was in Buffalo.
Lou, it wasn’t a bad pass nor did Stills have to do anything crazy to adjust to the ball. That’s real nitpicking for no reason. There were two defenders there and he actually put the ball in a good spot and Stills ran free.
LOL, wrong blog.

Good luck trying to convince Lou that Tannehill made a good throw. He’s way too far to the dark side at this point, there’s no return. lol

Power ranking update…..might not want to buy playoff tickets quite yet. They sure do love Ajayi though.
Like in past years Pete Prisco of CBS always rates us higher with more upside than the others. Starting to think he is a fan.
——————————————————————————————
ESPN — #26.
O.J. Simpson. Earl Campbell. Ricky Williams. Jay Ajayi. Those are the only players in NFL history to rush for 200 yards in back-to-back games. The Dolphins are on bye this week, though, so we’ll have to wait until Week 9 to see if Ajayi can make it three straight.
———-
NFL.com — #22
Not sure what to make of Jay Ajayi, who seemed to disappoint everyone — Miami, the fans, fantasy owners — this preseason and in the early goings of the regular season. Ajayi rushed for more than 200 yards again, making it two straight games he’s pulled off that feat. It also marks the fifth time in NFL history a player has cruised past the 200-yard barrier in consecutive games. The last guy to do it? Ricky Williams, in a Dolphins uni. Wonder if Ajayi can handle the Ricky Williams workload better than Ricky Williams did.
Power Rankings side note: Those throwbacks were sweeeeet on Sunday.
——-
CBS Sports — #19
Jay Ajayi has really led this team the past two weeks. They have a bye, but then the schedule gets soft. They can make a playoff push.
I saw the NFL PR, didn’t see CBS. It wasn’t just 2 wins, it was 2 quality wins
I really wish they’d stay with the throwbacks. So much better IMO.
I have to say I prefer them as well.
Oh, and I totally agree – I love the throwback uni’s , I wish they would go back to a uniform similar to that
my main concern right now is what happens if james or albert go down. Remember last year we won 2 games then we played the pats and I think James went down and that was it for our season.
What we do if this oline has injuries is what the FO should be worried about during the bye.
You can’t really go by what ifs. Any player in the league can go down at any time. What if Suh and Wake go down? What if Brady gets decapitated and Belichick suffers spontaneous human combustion? LOL
He had a fair point. Not sure why he went James, but both Albert and Pouncey have a history of injuries. Don’t think Tunsil does, but man that shower slip will haunt him for a good while.
I saw what happened when the BIG O FIVE play, but……you get the idea.
tim,
If I was the FO I would go by what ifs and consider options if this oline has injuries. IF they don’t then they didn’t learn a damn thing from the last few years when we got injuries on the oline and our season went down the toilet when it happened.
Also I’m not worried as much about suh or wake going down as the oline injuries. We can overcome wake or suh injuries much better than oline. Just look at the last few years.
Oddly enough…..the guy who I have gained the most respect for on the OL this year is Pouncey. Other stuff going on, but what a difference when he came back.
Im not concerned with the James or Albert going down part as i am the guards. Having the OG’s stable will keep an escapable pocket as long as Tanny can pick up the pressure from the outside. With bad up front pocket protection, there is no where to go and it wouldnt matter if James and Albert are back there the sacks would continue to flow. OT’s concern me indirectly, because it might would require shifting Tunsil to LT if Albert goes down, causing some weakness at the OG spot, though Young could possibly fill in for either James or Albert if they wanted to keep the integrity of the inner unit.
With Sten able to play OG, as well as Urbik, and Young to backup the OT’s i feel better about this units ability to suffer 1-2 injuries than i have been in several years.
Steen not Sten
I hope you’re right.
Well I think Fox went in for james last year and we know how that turned out. I agree that OGs would be worrisome as well.
stanger,
just having this oline intact has made such a huge difference. They’re playing like they’re the best oline in the league right now on par with cowboys oline. We’ll go as far as this line takes us this year IMO.
“We’ll go as far as this line takes us this year IMO”
And that is different from other years because? Woke up creaming last night cause in my dream Billy Turner was lined up at LT. :).
Boulder, I’m not sure there are many options off the street for the OL at this time. Let’s just hope we don’t suffer serious injuries to the starting 5. That would suck.
There are a bunch of guys on PS’s we could sign to a 53 contract. They wouldn’t represent a right away replacement for any but more a fill in for depth or potential better replacement than we have currently once they acclimated to the system. No person of the street would be any better, and if we expected a better replacement we would likely have to trade for one off someones current 53.
Boulder
Just enjoy the ride while we have it. Most teams can’t handle injuries to major players. I think we can deal 1 guy going down, but 2 would really damage the chances of us running the ball as well as we have been.
The situation doesnt really make me nervous, like both you and Tim said, its a fear experience by any team, its no more or less likely to happen to our players as someone elses, and in the long run its going to affect us some how some way without much way to mitigate it other than having the best backups you possibly have. Perfect world, we would draft a OL in the upper half of the draft every year and he would turn out well enough to be ready to step in in case of injury but ultimately ready to rotate in when we get a starter ready to move on through FA, cuts or retirement. This is how the draft is suppose to work, not be finding starters, but finding eventual starters.
Yup, I agree.
If Albert goes down again, Tunsil would move to LT, and either Urbik or Steen would go to LG. Not catastrophic IMO
Worst case is Pouncey going down again… I know people dont think he has very strong value to our OL, but i believe personally he is the glue and the guy that makes the unit play as unit not individuals.
Pouncey is a lot better than many fans give him credit for.
Stanger, Mike, Son, Ken, Piggy et al (and anyone else I’ve missed!)
Thanks so much for your kind words on our beer. I’m glad to hear they made the journey in tact, and more than anything I’m so stoked they are now associated with a fest win!
Cheers gang. Looked like an awesome time. Bummed I couldn’t be there even if I was in spirit. I watched it at the brewery bar and must’ve told a dozen different people that I had a bunch of friends getting to watch it live.
Cheers all. Good on ya for getting together!
Mighty fine stuff Jahn. But next year just leave the beer at home and bring your butt here.
Ha! In “spirit” eh? 😉
Maybe you can come AND bring some more beer, I don’t think anyone would complain
Remember who you are talking to. Whether at the Fest or not Jahn can still send beer down from heaven (so long as High Angel Herd is involved).
Awesome pics! I am going to try to make it next year…it looks like a LOT of fun!
Definitely do, it’s a lot of fun for sure
Major props to Joe Schad of the PBP.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry has received criticism for his violent, high block on Buffalo Bills safety Aaron Williams. All agree it was correctly called a penalty. Landry has said he would never intend to injure an opponent. And clearly he felt regret about the result of the football play.
But there is a reason Landry can’t change the way he plays. Because Landry’s mindset, his mentality, his toughness, his fearlessness, it is who he is.
Landry is one of the NFL’s best wide receivers. But pound-for-pound (5-feet-11, 206 pounds) he’s also arguably the toughest, most physical blocker.
After returning a punt, Landry lowers his shoulder, initiating contact instead of just slinking out of bounds. Landry fights for every yard, every inch, in a way Ajayi has too, the last two weeks.
If you take the Landry out of Landry, you don’t have Landry.

You may be right with Pouncey. I know I personally always underappreciate him.
all this talk about going down is useless unless you are talking about one of these
LOL @ Stanger
from espn. true
“Yes, some teams were concerned about Jay Ajayi’s knee when he was coming out of Boise State, which is part of the reason he fell to the Dolphins in the fifth round of the 2015 draft. After Ajayi rushed for his second straight 200-yard game, a veteran scout who had a higher grade on Ajayi offered a reminder: Anyone who worries about longevity in a running back is ignoring the obvious — running back is not a position where longevity can be expected.”
Yeah man, that’s pretty true, and for successful backs, you have to be pretty careful not to overpay them on their second contract.
There aren’t many RB’s who play well into their 30’s, but there are exceptions, like Frank Gore, Matt Forte, Adrian Peterson
This is from an article on cbssports.com about trades that should happen before the deadline. Looks crazy right, Wake in a Cowboys uniform?
For elliott?
Draft pick compensation most likely, but I’d bet some here would want Romo
I wouldnt want Romo. I would rather ride with Tanny if we arent going to start over with a rookie that Gase could bring up under him, and someone that could be married with a receiver also from the same draft to develop a bond with. The idea of moving on from Tanny is a point of needing a clean slate, not an “ill take anyone not Tanny”.
Romo is 36 and injured. Only way he comes is if Hulk of two weeks ago got his blow it up wish and we are rebuilding. Unless Romo is ready to be the new Matt Moore.
Wake isnt going to be traded as long as we are pushing to continue winning, which means with the trade deadline right around the corner, it probably isnt happening until after the year ends, and only then, if he still wants to play and wont take some sort of reduced contract.
I thought we have him signed for next season for $7M
We have him under contract but only 3mil is guaranteed, i meant more of he would take a reduced contract like instead of 7mil next year he drops it to 5 or 6. I could see them doing an extension making it 10mil over 2 years, 5mil fully guaranteed in 2017, with another 5mil with only a couple guaranteed in 2018. That would more than double his guarantees and extend him through 2018, but make it very little risk. 5 mil for even a passing downs elite level player would be worth it. Draft a DE prospect and let him learn under the master.
If we were 1-5 or 2-4 right now id really think some of our higher priced guys would be suspect for trades, at 3-3 i really dont think its likely. We dont have any depth guys that are so impressive that we could move on and not feel too many ill effects.
The OL didn’t start clicking because Pouncey came back. It changed when Gase changed how we were running the ball. He went to much more extra OL and 2 TE sets. We started going from under center instead of shotgun. Those were the changes that impacted this line’s performance. A commitment to actually run the ball…and adjust our scheme accordingly. Pouncey has been a part of the dreadful running game we’ve had before this 2 game blip. If he was such a catalyst, where was it before?
You make some good points. I do think running from under center helps, and it’s true, we have been employing a 6th OL, or 2 TE sets, so I’m sure that has made an impact.
I think Pouncey helped a lot. Im not saying that the formation changes werent also key, but i think they have also been able to run the ZBS running plays better because of Pouncey being in there, and i think that he also is bringing leadership to that unit, helping them with their assignments. Probably no way to prove my point unless Pouncey goes out, but early in this season we were trying ZBS running plays, with the entire line we have now, minus Pouncey and we werent getting it done. Part of it is formations, part of it is Gase being more settles into his game calling, etc, but i think at least a good portion of it is Pouncey.
D
If Dallas blew us out of the water with an offer, I think we’d trade Wake. If they gave us a 1st RD pick, we’d be crazy not to take it.
Maybe, but you have to think, with Dallas right now playing as they are, that 1st would be a late round one, practically a second rounder. I have been a proponent of letting Wake go but at this point i think he would offer more to us keeping him than that late round 1st.
I guess it depends on how realistic a chance you think we have of making the playoffs. It would be tough to lose Wake, but we could really use some young talent. I think I’d have to take even a late RD 1st RD pick for Wake, the value is excellent for us.
Maybe, and i dont think we are going to make the playoffs, even with past couple games worth of success, but i don’t think its going to stop them from trying, and trading Wake would be them basically deciding to stop. If i thought they were planning on bailing out on the season it would make sense to me but i don’t think they are.
No to Romo. If our major problem is o line related the last thing we need is a QB that is fragile on a good day.
I thought some of the Tannehill sucks fans would want Romo, I guess not
Its because weren’t Tannehill sucks fans, we are dolphins fans you just happen to think starting over with a new QB wasn’t a bad idea going into year 2 of a new coaches career. I know i want Gase to have the best chance of success with this team as possible and way things were going with Tanny it sure looked like he was hitched to a boat anchor. Maybe its not that way, maybe it still is. At this point i cant let the season play out before really jumping back on one side or the other. Been burned on both sides so far.
I don’t know if I was in that category. I don’t think he sucks. I think he was too inexperienced to be drafted where he was. He had a bigger learning curve than a 3-4 yr starter in college.
can, not cant, and we aren’t, not weren’t

Oh right, sorry.
MkeE,
That’s the thing with Tanny. Really nobody has said he sucks. Me…and others…have said he’s nothing more than average. I do think he “sucks” at certain things, but overall he’s just a run-of-the-mill QB. But, you say that, and people argue the extreme that he “sucks”…not what was actually said. Lol
The wet dream post above was Stanger. I was replying to it!
Rock — funny how you never point out my other misspellings….
Stanger, because they are not normally that funny! LOL
Glad you enjoyed Rock. Was good to see you.
We’ve had a much better chance of winning by de-emphasizing Tannehill and the passing game. I hope that trend continues. Sooner or later we will need to move the ball and score through the air, but I’d rather worry about that after we’ve established we can run the ball effectively. Tannehill throwing 25-30 times a game is just fine with me.
The thing is though, unless you have a top QB, why would you emphasize the QB?
Rock i read it as you posted that LOL…..
because of that fact it didnt look like a typo either LMAO
I find it amusing how people always say / think we can get a first round pick for any of our players. (or even suggest that it would have to be a first round pick to consider it.)
I would trade Wake for a 2nd or 3rd round pick before the deadline if we had someone interested. (and he is one of my favorite players) Bellicheat has been dumping his older players like that for years.
I almost said that myself 3 times, but stopped myself
It would also make yet another jersey I own obsolete . . .
as the roster stands right now, I don’t think there is a single player on our roster another team would give up a first round pick for. (not even the ones we used a first round pick to get.) that includes Suh, Jones, Tannehill, Tunsil, Pounce or……well I can’t think of anyone else.
Maybe not high ones, but both Parker and Landry go for firsts. And yeah Tunsil too.
Mike, If I buy a player’s jersey it is the kiss of death for them. Tannehill is the only jersey I’ve bought where the guy is even on the team the following year!
(PS I didn’t buy it. it was a Christmas gift. )
I feel like I’ve been the kiss of death too. I bought Dion Jordan, Karlos Dansby, Brandon Marshall etc
Mike, when my Ex told me three years ago she was thinking of buying me a jersey for x-mas and asked who I liked I said Jones #20 or Tannehill #17 (in that order) I guess there were more T-hill jerseys at the store.
I think I’m going to start buying polos and t-shirts

Dolphins fans are petitioning to keep the Throwback jerseys. I love ’em, so I would sign it.
Randy doesn’t like Pouncey either. I’m not sure if he likes any player on this team, except for Reshad Jones. LOL
I dont expect we would get a first for Wake, though Cowboys do have the luxury of having little in the way of needs, with pass rush being one of the strongest…and Wake would represent tipping the scales in their favor as far as filling that void. Also if they pick later in the draft, they wouldnt get anyone anywhere near as good as Wake at their draft selection in the first. That said neither would we.
I think its unlikely they would feel the need to give up a first, but that’s one team that i believe could be in a position to. I wouldn’t count that out, but again, im not a fan of doing that trade unless we are pretty much giving up on the season and moving on, and if so, go ahead an move some of the other players while you are at it.

Mine as well. That was the best beer I have had in years.
I don’t see us trading Wake who is now coming on. What message would that send? We’re 3-4 and the Cowboys are 5-1. That’s a two win difference, they don’t have anything locked up.
I don’t think we would trade him either, but if Dallas came asking with a 1st RD pick in hand, I wouldn’t turn it down.

I don’t think Williams was defenseless, it wasn’t from behind or anything. What did he expect, nobody to come near him? I could easily blame Williams for lack of football awareness. I still think it was a bogus call.

I haven’t seen the hit, except at the game, and it was pretty hard to tell what happened live
You didn’t watch the video of the link you just posted ? Looks like Landry turned to not lead with his helmet.
I can’t watch video on my computer at work
Just watched it on my phone. It was a pretty violent block, but it was face to face, not from the side or the back.
Nice write Mike E..
Thanks Doggy
Mike, it was very violent (violent sport) and maybe Landry elevated himself too much. But Williams has to see him coming and he does nothing. What does he expect us to do, allow him to make the tackle?
I’d like to see it again on a bigger screen than my phone. It looked like maybe he didn’t see him coming, he kinda came from the side, but when he hit him, he was face to face. It all happened pretty fast, as expected.
It was his shoulder not leading with the helmet and I think that’s why Landry leaps a bit to not do that. WTF is Williams doing, he’s a DB, who the hell does he think might block him deep in the red zone on a running play? I think Williams’ lack of football awareness got him hurt. Landry also shows class being visibly disturbed about it and giving Williams a pat saying didn’t mean to hurt you.
Yet it’s a football play. LOL
I’ll check it out when I get home. Hard to see on my phone
Fuck the NFL and their arbitrary rules
The Patriots have been breaking every rule they can get away with
the Broncos chop blocked their way to super Bowls for years
I saw DJ Swearing avowing hitting Keller in the head by diving head first into his knees ruining his season in the fucking preseason
What is going to happen
Are they going to hire Tedd Wells to do another investigation of Landry’s intent….lol
Then we can make up a type of science in his defense we never heard about in any other context
Then Landry will smash every recording of the incident and say it was at his lawyers advice
then the NFL will suspend him
then an appeal will go on for 2 years until Goodell can say he won
the NFL rules are a joke now
Every player on our team should play like Landry, Ajayi and Suh and kick the shit out of the opposition
I hope we are the most physical team in football
Do you guys want to be boyscouts and see the cheatriots win by cheating year after year
fuck no
LANDRY FOREVER!!!!
OINK!!!
Here here!! LOL
LOL @ Piggy’s tirade! Oinkin’ right!
We need Jahn to start distributing his beer in the northeast
And the southeast
I agree about the attitude our guys need to play with. It seems like that line is starting to get nasty as the run game gets rolling.
I’d love to see us run it right at the stej too.
Absolutely! Remember when we were all discussing Tannebaum and Grier prefer more physical teams? Well it doesn’t happen overnight but you can see the moves that have been made are in tune with that. This is just the beginning.
Tenn is whooping on Jax
Their offense is shaping up they have some nice talent
What is going on with JAC? They were suppose to be a team taking the next step even over the Dolphins and they’re headed for another top 5 pick.
Speaking of attitude, I thought Williams brought attitude on his TD run after Ajai was hurt. Contagious.
That was a great run. Would not be denied.
Tim, Jax is like we’ve been where their just isn’t a fire. They look uninspired.
I think/hope that alas our fires been lit.
What the fuck is this wind up Blake is doing he didn’t used to do that. Terrible.
Bortles mechanics are not good
Watching Bortles tonight. I am not impressed
I agree Bookman
The Williams TD run was “electrifying”
(Piggy slides across the hood of Grease Lightning)
Lol
Lol
Williams has turned into a nice role player for us
Just watched the block on a bigger screen. It looks to me like Williams was still looking in the backfield, and didn’t pick up Landry until the last 1/2 second. He really got walloped. Clean hit though, just unfortunate that the guy had his eyes in the wrong place.
Yeah
Those eyes were under the wrong helmet!
How about instead of trading our guys we go and get someone. Someone named Telvin!
Gus Bradley will be looking for work soon
Yup, dead man walking
And what did Gase say about Landry
I’m not gonna change the way he plays
AllRIGHT GASE!
(Piggy headbutts Adam Gase)
Take it easy on coach with that big ol pig head
I think I’d play Henne until Blake stops that crap
I know Jax problem is their uniform is hideous
What? Guldens is on the color wheel, lol
LMAO
Henry can catch
MikeE,
Because the rules favor the passing game. It’s a huge advantage you want to be able to use.
Gase is not this whimpy offensive coach all arrogant about his system. He gets football. He likes physical play and precision in the passing game. That’s who he is from what I’ve gotten from him so far.
I like the fact he is approachable by players if they have an idea of what may work… see Oline asking for power inside runs , and earlier in year RT mentioned a couple plays and they were instituted as well.
He’s a generational contemporary with a lot these guys. Not a crotchety old grandpa! LOL
Yes he’s shaping his team by putting trust in his guys.
Get off my lawn!!!!
Toba..
Those maybe the worst uniforms I have ever seen
Right up here with Steelers Convict Jersys yup

LMAOROTF
Color flush Thursday sucks…….
Man Bortles is horrible
Let’s trade Tanny for him.
No. Never. I never thought he was on par with Tannehill’s level of talent.
Lol@ Tim
Doggie.
I haven’t seen them play all year
But is Jax this bad?
No they’re shitting the bed tonight but haven’t played to their potential all year
They have nit been good , nevermind the expectations on them as preseason darlings.
Our biggest problem as a franchise has been no stability for years. It has to stop! Let the people in place build something. It’s like the first time you go to the food stand and get a bad BLT and you shun them forever! Geez!!! LOL
Telvin didn’t look too good on that TD
Uh oh Missed xpt. Turning point of the game
Matthews with a TD
He’s a tough fucker I miss him some
He held himself back. He has talent. It’s not like he never got a chance. I never got this excuse thing for him.
I think Carroo will become that at some point.
Go get Telvin
Pretty sure if ya look close at the Fest Mob Pic you can find a Jags phone. 🤔
Piggy:
On NFL radio today there was a Jags beat writer on. The hosts were talking about how this should be a close game. The beat writer then went off saying this game won’t be close. That the Jags are incapable of scoring 14 points and their D won’t stop the Titans run game. Looks like the beat writer knows his team and yes the Jags are this bad.
Alright this game is not worth staying up for. I am out peace.
