I have a very uneasy feeling about Urbik playing C. I can just see him get his ass kicked today going up against the Jets d line.
Way I figure it he should be an upgrade — wouldn’t be in there otherwise.

Amazing how close those stats up talk look other than points scored and rushing yards (which I think we will be doing a lot tonight).
Other than those two though, you’d never guess one team was 4-9 and the other 8-5, but guess that goes to how we have been winning our games — it hasn’t been in the stat column, only close on the scoreboard.
we’ve gotten contributions from every part of the team; offense, defense and special teams. the D has given us opportunities to score this year and both defense and special teams have won games for us.
the offense is 32nd in the league in number of offensive plays per game and at the bottom in number of plays per drive and time of possession per drive. So, we needed help from those other areas to win games. Going to need it again today.
Turnovers will play a big part in today’s win or loss.
Sorta makes you feel like these guys are a team though, don’t it? And it it is more than just TOs — which can just be the lick of the bounce — I see consistent effort on almost every play.
Most definitely. Gase is getting the most out of the talent on the team. he’s getting it to the point where he wants it and that is to be able to win with whomever. It always aggravated the shit out of me that the Pats could win even with injuries to key players and Gase is getting this team to that point. May not be pretty either but who gives a shit

One reason the stats are so even is because we were awful the first 5 games. Take those games out of the equation, and it looks a little better. Not great, but better.
Your number of losses are still your number of losses, but you are right that the stat column would be better the last eight games — not all that much more though. Not like we were getting blown out.
It’s nice that the Phins get an extra home game even if it’s being played in New Jersey.
Nice article from Jimmy Walker on Albert and Tunsil. Makes me think we should keep Albert (even if still think he should redo for less, and possibly go to G).

I’m not a huge fan of Kendall Beckwith but the more I watch him I’m starting to think Vance Joseph can make him into a different player. He shows that he’s got the athleticism but he seems to just lack some strength and needs to be “coached up” at the next level.
Joseph does that and we could have our new MLB if we were to take him
