Just a severe lack of enthusiasm on offense, Cutler was throwing the ball; rec’s were dropping it, it really looks like the offense just doesn’t want to be out there. 10 points were generated by the defense until i had to leave where i was watching it in the 2nd quarter.

  2. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

Ajayi just cant run the ball, our run blocking sucks!

  3. D's avatar D says:

If I do anything on offense as far as replacing the QB it wouldn’t be until the season is over and I wouldn’t be putting in Moore I’d be putting in Doughty. There is no reason we should waste games and snaps on a guy who may just get us to a 8-8 ho humm finish. We might as well gain something and Doughty closer to a option as a backup would be better than just plugging in Moore to finish out a shit show season.

That was a for sure fumble dude they didn’t give us that
    ———
“Do you really think it matters, Eddie?”
    ————–

Yeah I think it matters if the assertion is the refs gave us those points lol. What ya smoking bro.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

I don’t smoke anything. And if you feel that ‘fumble’ by Cassel was legit, I’ve got a ‘Tuck Rule’ to sell you.

  5. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

We should have lost this game today. The refs handed us this one… and we should take it.

  6. D's avatar D says:

We win because our defense shut that team down. You might even argue we win because they had Cassel and not Mariota, but you can’t tell me the refs won that game for us

  7. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

If I was going to pick one thing to improve I’d pick ball placement!

I think Cutler is being very carefull with the ball and throwing a lot of down and away balls

When Thomas gets the ball up he catches it and turns for RAC. He doesn’t handle the low and away!
Stills is open but every throw low and away!

GAse jmay be holding Cutler in? But fuckit let him sling it !!
    What can it hurt???

  8. D's avatar D says:

Dude he didn’t tuck shit. Lol he fumbled the ball before his arm came forward, he didn’t tuck, he didn’t do anything but fumble

  9. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

    You can’t play scared!!!!!!!

  10. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

Cutler threw for a whopping (drum roll please) 92 yards!

  11. manitobafinfan's avatar manitobafinfan says:

It was a Fugly Win , but still a win and we can credit a crushing DEFENSIVE effort for it .. i too will take the W

  12. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

I think MF13 is talking about the Offensive pass interference.

    • D's avatar D says:

They had some big missed holding calls against Harris that would have been sacks. That’s how the game goes, but he’s talking about the fumble he just said so

  13. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

does anyone know how many yards Ajayi got?

  14. D's avatar D says:

If you want, call someone in the NFL since you have all those connections you always claim to have and get them to review the game and declare us losers. Refs didn’t give us shit, we won a shitty game because our defense was better than theirs. Neither offense did shit

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

I’m going to ignore your comments until you calm down, friend. We got LUCKY this game. Yes… the officials ‘helped us’ today, believe it or not, in lieu of our Offensive ineptitude. Let us be REAL.

  15. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Look Dudes!!!

If Cutler had it called a fumble against him — and being it WAS a FOWARD PASS by Cassel — you’d be SCREAMING that it was NOT a fumble. Rules are the rules.

Today, we were the beneficiaries of awful officiating. The last two weeks, we were the diaper of shit officiating. Two wrongs don’t make a right and it never will.

If one actually APPLAUDS our Offensive output… I’m sorry… but one would then be a mere FAN-BOY.

  16. Ken's avatar Ken says:

Refs handed us this one in that Delaney Walker touchdown should not have been called back

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

THANK YOU, KEN!!! Right there with ya!!!

    • D's avatar D says:

He extended his arms, I think it’s a weak call sure but there are shitty calls all the time. We were on the benefit side of that one but he did push off, they just normally don’t call it away from the play, but have we not seen the sane deal. Did we get every call the game….no so that’s some weak shit saying we won because the refs gave it to us.

We won because our defense shut shit down. We won because our horrible offense was just slightly better than their horrible offense. Lol seriously if y’all are gonna play the refs gave us this one you might as well say the refs took the others from us lol. It’s an ugly win it’s not a vote of confidence in the offense.

  17. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

LOL… can we just enjoy a win? Like we have never been screwed? Oy!

  18. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

    The calls were the Calls!
Arguing about them now is pointless!

  19. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

That is what our D looks like with Decent LB play!!

  20. D's avatar D says:

I’ll ignore yours too then m13 until you get a pair of eyes that work or some football sense since you can’t call something for what it is

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

ALL GOOD, Brother! You and I are BOTH riding high on the game we just saw, and we fortunately WON!!!

I didn’t mean this as a matter of disrespect, I’m just sayin’ that we should let the ‘high of the game’ wane before we start getting into DEEP football talk about today’s game. We should just allow the dust to settle before making knee-jerk decisions.

I’m audi for a bit to clear my mind, D. NO DISRESPECT INTENDED!

  21. mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

    Our Defense today? GRAND!!!

Our Offense today? WTF, once again.

  22. Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

    AND IMHO
The ball was out on the elbow hit the vollyball’d down field!

    • naplesfan2010's avatar naplesfan2010 says:

      yep

    • D's avatar D says:

Should have. There are tons of plays where calls are made when sometimes. They wouldn’t or they miss it on one side or the other. That refs, that’s how it goes. So it’s never why one person won or the other. You win and lose because of your play. Our defensive play was spectacular and we won because of it

  23. Phindog's avatar Phindog says:

I’m happy about the win so Fuck Off.. Our O is starting to improve, they have scored 3 tds in 4 games.. Our D has only scored 1 🤓

  24. D's avatar D says:

You guys want a reason to say we didn’t earn it because you don’t want to validate the offense. You can do that by calling the game for what it was an ugly win that the defense provided us. You don’t have to say we got given a win by the refs by them giving us points or taking them away just because you feel the need to force the team to not get this win. They aren’t going to ignore the offensive failures just because of the win so stop trying to take it away.

    • mf13ss's avatar mf13ss says:

Replied to ya above, my man! But I can TELL YA that Gase wasn’t happy with today’s Offensive output.

      BBL…

    • Phindog's avatar Phindog says:

Exactly.. I go by the scoreboard. Calls always go either way. PHINS WIN !! 🍻

    • Ken's avatar Ken says:

Don’t want to validate the offense? Not sure what you mean by that but if you’re referring to the shit show we have watched for the last 3 weeks then yes I am not validating that

  25. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

I agree a win is a win, now let’s just hope the Titans trade matt cassel to the falcons this week!

  26. ElephantRider's avatar ElephantRider says:

    My amateur opinion…..

The offense has 0 confidence in Cutler. No effort.

  27. Ken's avatar Ken says:

I am happy we won but to me this game was nothing to build off of. I don’t come away thinking that we have turned thing around and that we are playoff contender based on what I saw on the field today

  28. rgs322's avatar rgs322 says:

I don’t want to dwell to much, but the pass interference call was a phantom call. Just watched the replay. The call was on the other TE on the field and he never extended this arms. Lofted even pointed it out in the replay. Take what you can get, a win is a win. …but that was a 14 point swing because Jones scores 2 plays later.

  29. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

I’m not laying the blame on Cutler however it looks as if this offense has taken on Cutlers personality, an (i don’t give a shit) personality. a lot of dropped balls that were not Cutlers fault, no run blocking what so ever. we should just punt on 1st down and play D the whole game.

  30. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

    Cutler is unadulatrred garbage

If you suck more than Cutler – glory holes are envious

  31. ElephantRider's avatar ElephantRider says:

Take the gift win. Enjoy the fact Mariota was out.
Prepare to get smoked in Atl……

The only improvement on offense was that there wasn’t 10 WR screens called today. Lol

  32. herdfan's avatar herdfan says:

Just throwng this out there. Not talking about Cutler or Moore but do you think the offense would play better with Moore? He’s been with these guys a long time. Then Cutler is brought in like he wasn’t even a consideration. I know what he is. Then again, I know what Cutler is too. So not really about either of them but just overall.

    • Wyoming85's avatar wyoming85 says:

      I Don’t know?
If Cutler plays scared again I’d bench him!
At least Moore isn’t scared! He throw’s plenty of INT’s!

  33. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

The crowd was chanting for Moore

  34. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Man was it hot and humid today…..was like a sauna. And no wind going on. Was real nice that our bench was in the shade the whole time though and the Titans never was. Talk about home field advantage.

  35. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

We got the win. And it keeps us ‘relevant’ for another week. … but I don’t feel very good about where this team is headed.

We got some legit (and healthy) teams coming up soon. If our Off doesn’t get some spark, … man, I can’t even think of a direction to go cuz it’s the same stuff we always worry about.

  36. Rhino's avatar Rhino says:

    Herd,
the way I see it, Cutler’s arm keeps the deep ball threat there, but at least Moore might do most everything else better.

  37. Another pathetic showing. My boy Wentz had a great day though.

  38. D's avatar D says:

Anyone heard from SB after the hurricane landed?

    • son of a son of a shula's avatar son of a son of a shula says:

Hopefully he only lost power and that’s the worst of it

      • D's avatar D says:

I didn’t even lose power and I got both sides of the eye wall go over us. It was a really fast moving hurricane, which is always a good thing.

  39. D's avatar D says:

Herd I don’t think Moore does much for us as far as getting the season straight. I think Cutler doesn’t really seem to be working out his issues but Moore I don’t think is going to save us either. If there is a mutiny we don’t know about, I the locker room is anti Cutler I think changing the QB is a bad idea.

  43. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

Cutler officially sucks a bucket of donkey dicks.

  44. D's avatar D says:

Rg, did ya look at the fumble on walker that they didn’t call? Did you check the no holding calls against Harris. I’m not saying that wasn’t a weak call but any of those other ones could have cost us points or given them points. You can’t say the refs gave or took a game away because there is no way to predict what “would have” happened if they called a perfect game

  45. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

    Moore = .500
    Doughty = ? Maybe worse?

  51. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

I think we should hurry up and trade Landry. Cause…you know….he doesn’t score TDs.

  52. pheloniusphish's avatar pheloniusphish says:

It’s along season, yet. If the defense keeps playing well we can still make the playoffs.

  67. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

    Herd,

Based on what I have seen from Cutler thus far, I would say the offense would be better with Moore in there, definitely no worse off. The problem is he’s making $10 million this season, and anyone who doesn’t think that factors into that decision should have his/her head examined. He’s got a much longer leash because of that salary.

  70. Funny to see so many jumping on the Matt Moore wagon.

  71. Brian in NY's avatar Brian in NY says:

Cutler has played terribly, but let’s not kid ourselves, this OL is not playing well at all right now. He’s been under pressure a ton in the last three games, and the running game has yet to get it going because of the OL woes. Ajayi is getting hit at or behind the line more often than not. They have to get their shit together or it will be a long season. The reason why we were dominated by the Jets and the Saints is because we couldn’t come close to handling their front seven. If we don’t fix this now the same thing will happen week after week against teams with good D.

  72. Phindog's avatar Phindog says:

There seems to be a lack of urgency with entire O and specifically with Jay ( The Sloth ) Cuttler. Watching the other games you see energy and determination. OLine should drink red bulls and Jay Cuttler should use meth. Still digging the win 😎

  74. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

I’m not sure Cutler played horrible, he was hitting his targets, the pass in the second quarter to Parker, parker had the first if he just ran north or south, instead he runs east and doesn’t pick it up.

These WR screens are not working! can someone please relay that to Gase?

It’s like the entire offense is on quayludes!

  75. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

  79. D's avatar D says:

I think the biggest plus from this game was how Harris played. He was pressuring almost ever single play. He looked great. Mauluga looked solid. Timmons was playing really well, looked good on coverage too. Lb unit as a whole seemed solid and the DL has kept up the great play

  80. D's avatar D says:

Bushrod is the limiting factor on the OL, we run much better to Steen side, but they also can tell when we run to the right. Watch the defense, everyone is flowing that way already. We are predictable. Like I was saying before the game, earlier this week counter runs we’re open. Every counter run we ran was a minimum of a 9 yard gain. I guess he guess can’t see that

  81. Phindog's avatar Phindog says:

    • D's avatar D says:

Was a tough spot to be in. They needed a TD which sometimes you got to take one when you can get one, and yet they did really need to run more time off. They also need to be able to learn on their defense from time to time to close out a game. Defense let them down

I thought the Titans should have challenged Ajayi getting that first down late in the game. I think his knee was down before he reached out, but they didn’t. I think they got screwed on the PI call that brought back the TD, but shit like that has happened to us in the past too, it’s part of the game. The Matt Cassel fumble was very close, too close to overturn IMO. We know have work to do on offense if we want to hang with ATL, but the defense sure is fun to watch. When was the last time you saw a Dolphins defender absolutely knock the shit out of an opposing player? Alsonso’s hit was NICE! It was such a nice hit, it DESERVED a fumble!
