Well, out with the old, in with the older. The Dolphins traded QB Ryan Tannehill to the Tennessee Titans and our 2019 6th RD (#188) pick as well as paying $5M of Ryan Tannehill’s $7M 2019 salary in exchange for the Titans 2019 7th RD pick (#234), and the biggest part of the trade, a 2020 4th RD pick. In addition to the Tannehill trade, the Dolphins signed veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to a 2 year $11M deal, but with performance incentives met (they won’t!) could boost the deal to between $17-20M.
I remember driving home from work the night of the 2012 NFL Draft. It was Thursday April 26th, I worked until 9PM and I was racing home from work that night, desperately trying to make it home to watch us make our selection at #8. It didn’t happen. I was close, less than a half mile away when my cell phone rings (hands free for you law enforcement type) and it’s Walker on the other end. Walker says in his lovable southern drawl “Mike E, we got a QB!” I can actually feel the excitement still, the hope of a young QB, it brings so much promise. Unfortunately for both us and for Ryan, things never quite happened as they were supposed to, and the Tannehill era ended 3/15/19 with the trade to the Titans.
In 2016, Ryan Tannehill had his best stretch as a Miami Dolphin. After losing 4 of the first 5 games, at 104, Miami rode the J-Train (Jay Ajayi), and that threat of a legitimate run game opened up the offense, and the ball control rejuvenated the defense. The Dolphins went on to win 7 of the next 8 games with Ryan Tannehill until the fateful knee injury ended his season against the Arizona Cardinals. You know the rest, Matt Moore finished the season 2-1, beating the Jets and Bills, but losing the final game of the season to the Patriots. In the playoffs, we were no match for the Steelers as we were drubbed 30-12 in a non competitive game. Could Ryan Tannehill have done better? We’ll never know.
The Dolphins signing an older vet QB like Fitzpatrick means a couple of things. Fitz is not a long term answer so the Dolphins are still looking for young QB talent. S Minkah Fitzpatrick will have to put an “M.” before his shared last name of Fitzpatrick on his jersey for ’19. Fitzpatrick is a capable QB, but has been a rollercoaster the last couple of years. He started last season hot throwing 8 TD’s to 1 INT in his first 2 games for the Bucs. It all leveled out as Fitz finished the season throwing 17 TD’s and 12 INT’s after the 8:1 ratio in games 1 and 2. He’s really good and really bad. That’s how he’s been. He loves to sling it, and I’d be lying if I said that won’t be a welcome change to our controlled offense of throwing in a 5 yard radius 98% of the time with Tannehill and Gase.
I think the Dolphins will take a QB in this draft, but not necessarily in RD1, unless the right guy just happens to fall to us at #13. We won’t be trading up, which makes it difficult, but we just need to improve the young talent depth at QB. If we felt either Rudock or Falk were the real deal we probably don’t bother picking up Fitzpatrick. Whether Haskins, Lock or Jones are a guy we target, we’ll see in a few weeks. I’m excited that we’re on the right track, and each move we make cements it in that the rebuild is legitimate, and things will get better, but again, for the short term they just might get worse.

Son,
I know ya love Dwayne Haskins, but that dude has serious issues. He breeds goats in his bathtub and bites the heads off of silverfish. I’ve even heard that he performs witchcraft in a floating tee-pee (raft-craft, I think), as he sings the theme song to “Mr. Belvedere” aloud.
Just wait until TMZ gets a hold of what I’m selling…
ROCK ‘EM Sock ‘EM game in Washington has Tampa Bay leading the Capitals 4-3 after 2 periods. The biggest multi-player fight put Caps’ player Nemby out of the contest with what appeared to be a very serious leg injury. Bolts lead on the strength of 2 goals from the league’s leading scorer, Nikita Kucherov, who is a lead-pipe cinch to win the NHL MVP this season! Third period could be a real doozy as Caps’ still pissed from losing 6-3 last week in Amalie Arena. Teams will meet one more time in just a few more days before playoffs start.
NOT a game for the faint of heart. These 2 franchises hate each other!
Go Bolts. Wilson from the Caps is a real whole. He roughed up the Knights pretty good last year in the finals, but Reaves kicked his ass twice this year in one game. Caps are the dirtiest team I’ve seen.
Ahole
Son,
I’m beginning to get with ya on the Dwayne Haskins train, Bro. I’m still not willing to trade up for him, but I can certainly try to tank his stock (see above) in order for him to fall to us! 😉

Interesting…
Makes me feel better actually. I’m not as bad off as I thought lol.
I’m actually about average it seems. Slightly above it even.
I don’t dislike Haskins as a QB for us, I just don’t wanna trade up for him, not as high as we would need to to get him. It’s going to cost too much
TAMPA BAY’S VICTOR HEDMAN scores the winner at 3:01 of OT and the lightning defeat the defending Stanley Cup Champion Capitals 5-4. Bolts goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy had a career best 54 saves on 58 Washington shots in this high scoring affair. Tampa Bay is now 20-2-2 in their last 24 games as they prepare for round 1 of the upcoming playoffs. They likely will play either Columbus or Carolina in the opening round, although Montreal is also a possibility. The playoffs begin April 10 in Amalie Arena in Tampa.
—–
Playoffs? Did I say PLAYOFFS?? Yes our Dolphins haven’t won a playoff game this century!
It’s time for your boys to win the cup.
THANKS,Steve. When they won their first cup (2004) I was stuck in Cowlumbus, Ohio and I didn’t get the full effect of it. Then, the owners locked-out the players the next full season which further dampened any enthusiasm for winning the Cup. However, I still remember them winning Game 7 in Tampa over the Calgary Flames. Their stars, Marty St. Louis and Dave Andreychuk, are now both in the NHL HOF! And their old coach is NOW coaching the Columbus Blue Jackets!!
This is what happens when you legalize drugs and fail to enforce the law.
Wow. I watch the whole thing. It’s sad, disgusting, anger inducing all at the same time. Really really good reporting and I sure hope for the sake of Seattle it makes a difference.
My brother lives in Seattle
It’s fine
His biggest gripe is the tech industry assholes…lol
Seattle has the 4th best economy in the US
Denver has the 5th (also legalized marijuana)
The top 2 cities are CA cities
Here’s a link
https://www.businessinsider.com/us-economy-by-metro-area-ranked-san-francisco-seattle-austin-2018-4#6-nashville-davidson-murfreesboro-franklin-tn-35
This is what happens when you spread propaganda not, what happens when you legalize drugs…lol
Besides – Drugs arent legal in Seattle
Marijuana is. There’s quite a difference
Marijuana is legal in Canada, Netherlands, Uruguay and a host of other countries
There’s a lot of successful places that aren’t rampant with crime
Big cities have big problems that rural areas never experience
If you live there, you probably insulate yourself. Last time I was there it was bad and that was almost 10 years ago. San Fran is even worse. Drugs, other than MJ, are not legal but they don’t enforce the laws. The only propaganda being spread is that legalizing drugs/accepting the use of drugs will lead to anything other than increases in crime, addiction rates, and homelessness. The point of the expose is that people are not getting addicted because they are homeless, rather they are homeless because they are addicted.
Large economies do not equate to successful economies. And ultimately the legalization of pot has nothing to do with Seattle’s or the Bay Area’s economy. To turn your argument, as little as I like NYC in general, they do not have the addiction/homelessness/rising crime rates problem of Seattle, Portland, and the Bay Area. Nether does Boston. No legalization there and they do enforce the law.
The ability to insulate yourself if you live there, means it’s not pervasive by the very nature of what insulating yourself means. That undermines the idea that the laws of Seattle (or Washington in this case) are the cause of the problems in the video
Large and successful (it’s not just large) economies certainly demonstrate that a city is not in decay. If you want to highlight the low points of any urban environment – then it’s just a highlight of those low points, not a reflection on the laws that the entire environment is bound by.
If the entire city doesn’t reflect what that video demonistartes – the simple truth of it is bc that video is not a reflection of the city, it’s just a reflection of the worst parts.
And laws (like the legalization of marijuana) cover the entire city, not just the worst parts. So that video gives a skewed perspective
FYI – I’m not arguing that marijuana has helped the economy. I agree that Seattle has had a good economy for some time now – but the legalization of marijuana isn’t even coming close to hurting the economy
But it’s not just economy
There are a host of other statistics where Seattle ranks much higher than cities where marijuana is illegal
There real estate market is booming there
Actually #10 on this list of best places to live (albeit I consider their conclusions somewhat arbitrary)
https://realestate.usnews.com/places/washington/seattle
Relative to other metropolitan areas they have a low violent crime rate and don’t even make this listnof most dangerous cities
https://www.usatoday.com/picture-gallery/travel/experience/america/2018/10/17/25-most-dangerous-cities-america/1669467002/
They are fairly high in terms of property crimes (I read number 6) but it’s really nothing that distinguishes them from a lot of other urban areas
If you don’t like big cities, you won’t like Seattle
But I think it’s quite a stretch to blame the legalization of marijuana on problems that are fairly consistent (or happen at a lower rate) than most metropolitan areas.
I just don’t see it
I can’t imgaine the documentaries made about my own backyard (nyc) and yet I think it’s the greatest place in the world
Phelon,
I wanted you to see this…
Yes, most gun deaths are suicides. Homicides by gun have steadily dropped.
In 2016 the Eagles had the 13 pick. They traded Maxwell and Alonzo to Miami for the 8th pick and Miami got the 13 pick which as we know became Tunsil. Then the Eagles moved up to 2 to subsequently get Wentz and have been to the playoffs ever since. So we need to be looking at the Lions. Alonzo again? Get to 8 and then bound up to get Haskins. Easy.
No trade ups for A QB. None of them are worth it. They are only good or bad when compared to each other. Most years nine of them would even go in the first.
Sonny – Do you know if DET is interested in Alonso?
So no Quinn trade yet?
I see nothing out there right now.
Put your contacts in, or take off your blindfold
Lol, nothing out there saying trade is complete, happy Father Time?
I was happy before you said that. Until we figure out which team we’re trading with and agree on compensation, it’s gonna be a while. I still think it’s going to be Dallas, and I think we pay for another 4th RD pick.
They said a Quinn trade could take few days.

———————————————
Yeah definitely going to take some time and those other teams are also bringing in other people they have to meet with, etc so the process probably will take a while. I think that we must think that we have a deal though, or we wouldn’t still be holding on to him. I think its almost certain we trade him, we are just trying to get them most return on it as we can and that takes patience on our part to let the two teams do their due diligence and get in a bidding competition.
If we’re going to be a hybrid, mostly 3-4 D, why do we need to draft edge. I assumed we’d use Godchaux. Taylor. Hayes and Spence on the end and need to draft a NT, but not in the 1st. Am I wrong?
Not mostly anything, and probably more 4-3 setups than 3-4 if you wanted to look at it that way, just because of our player skill set. Basically they are gonna run whatever they scheme for game to game, and they are going to mix up the looks. 3-4, 4-3 are really not predictable what we will be in more game to game.
Godchaux will probably be a 3-4 DE, 4-3 DT when he is in, and depending on what set up they are in. Hayes was a FA, we dont have him on the team. Id say we could use either a hybrid 4-3 DE, 3-4 OLB or 0-3 Tech DT who can be NT/DT hybrid, more than we need another DT/DE hybrid.
You have to understand though, we need the guys who can flex in and out of different positions depending, and we only have Harris right now that can flex in and out of 4-3 DE, 3-4 OLB. We need another starting caliber guy there or as you said in the middle of the DL.
I don’t think we’re going to mostly be a 3-4 D, I think our base sets will be, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a 4 man line on most passing downs. I think Godchaux will be OK as a 3-4 end, but I’m not sure about Taylor. We need some speed on the outside. I’m not sure who is going to be rushing the passer from the outside on a 4 man line besides Charles Harris at the moment. I’m not sure how much emphasis they will put on a traditional NT, like a 6’2″ 325 lb dude, they may go a little smaller, like Jay Ferguson was, or even the guy we got from the Texans, Earl Mitchell
NT, to me is kinda of an outdated term. They are more DT’s now, with the skills to operated in the 0-1, which means as long as they are strong enough to push the OL back on the inside, and fast enough to split a OC/OG gap, then they should fit us. I dont think we are looking for a pure space eater, nor a pure inside pass rusher, i think we are looking for a guy that can give us both. The more i watch Ed Oliver the more i know that he is one of those guys, i like how Wilkins and Lawrence both could fit there. So yeah i agree with ya Mikey, there isnt a size type, because siz can be overcome with strength, those speed is harder to overcome with size. We simply will be looking for a versatile DT who can play the middle when need be.
QB Ryan Fitzpatrick touches on the offensive talent on the team and reveals whether or not he will be keeping his beard in the South Florida heat. Full episode of #SoundBites: https://t.co/n07agTXYuG https://t.co/TE0D43Dis1
——————————————————————-
Umm he had the beard last year with TB….. righters r stooped…..
Lol…Tampa is a northern state as far as Miami is concerned?
I was wondering, i mean i know i have a buddy from Miami and he thinks “South Florida” ends at Ft Lauderdale. Some of my friends int he Orlando area though see themselves as South Florida….so i dunno. I lived in North West Florida so i dunno, hell a good portion of the state doesnt even consider my part of Florida, Florida.
Id put our needs right now in groupings like this. Day 1-2 (QB, OL, 3-4 OLB/4-3 DE, 3-4 NT/4-3DT) Day 3 (obviously the spill over from what didnt get done in day 1-2, then depth at OL, CB, and WR.
Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 13: Sweat, Montez, DE, Mississippi State (A)
Round 2 Pick 24 (N.E.): Cajuste, Yodny, OT, West Virginia (A-)
Round 3 Pick 9 (N.E.): Jenkins, Elgton, OG/C, Mississippi State (A+)
Round 3 Pick 14: Walker, D’Andre, OLB, Georgia (A)
Round 4 Pick 14: Jackson, Tyree, QB, Buffalo (A+)
Round 5 Pick 13: Granderson, Carl, DE, Wyoming (A+)
Round 7 Pick 19: Love, Bryce, RB, Stanford (A+)
Round 7 Pick 20: Johnson, Isaiah, CB, Houston (A+)
I doubt we would get Sweat, and i took OL twice in day 1 with a trade back instead of one early and one late, but the Jenkins in the third was too good to pass up.
sorry day 2
Does anyone think Chase Allen can truly be our Kyle Van Noy equivalent?
I dont think he is as gifted as Van Noy, but he seems to be relatively suited for the role.
I think it was BBM who first brought it up. He might actually be better suited at ILB in a 3-4,. I guess we’ll see what happens with him
Danny Shelton is out there. Id really like to sign him as a 1-tech DT to use in the middle, since we are completely bare at that position. We should still consider drafting one kind of early.
D – Physically, Allen is a bit faster, more agile and stronger than Van Noy, at least coming out of college. Allen ran a 4.58 while Van Noy ran a 4.71. Allen put up 23 reps to Van Noys 21, Allen ran a 6.88 cone to Van Noys 7.22, and Allen had a 1″ advantage in the vertical 33.5 to 32.5.
Also 116″ broad jump to 112″ for Van Noy.
I know, but im not talking size, im talking skills to play the position. Van Voy is a better LB’er
Gotcha D – I figured that’s what you meant
Instincts, Football IQ, etc are all components of LB, especially ILB’s. He might flourish, and he might turn those physical advantages into being aas good as or better than Van Noy, but i really dont think he is as good a player as Van Noy, definitely not as good at this point.
That’s what I was going to say lol
Dang, ND punter did 30 reps on bench at his pro day!
Need to squeeze the F outta that football before you punt it!
Phelon and D — far as I can figure Florida is actually 5 states and a country.
South Florida — that’s just the Southern part, but only on the East Coast
West Coast — that’s like it sounds and but is just as far South
Central Florida — that’s central but more North
North Florida — like sounds but actually what most consider “The South” in culture
Panhandle — part of North Florida, but really part of Alabama and Georgia
Keys — The Conch Republic
In the Key’s do they have the term Conchy Joe?
Panhandle is where im from originally, i have heard it called Lower Alabama or the Redneck Riviera, but ill say, having lived in Alabama and Mississippi, the local is about the only similarity. Our accents arent as pronounced, even though we do have a little bit of southern twang sprinkled in. I can hear Alabama accent and they can tell mine isn’t as pronounced as theirs, because i get asked a good bit where im from. Same for Mississippi.
Also the Panhandle is a MUCH different environment than Alabama and Mississippi, even their coastal areas. When i go back to Florida to visit its like i just went back to a different world, one that is very familiar and right to me lol. Most of
North Florida feels about the same, except Jacksonville and the east coastal areas, i dont know why they think those are beaches btw, they are ugly. Our beaches, vastly superior. 🙂
Live in the state, but never been to the panhandle….. and good have that info, cause for sure was just putting stereotypes on it. Been to the other four FL states and the country though.
Good break down though, i definitely know what you are saying and it does very much feel that way.
And didn’t mention what your buddy said about South Florida stops when you hit Miami. Think that like an NYC thing. City is the identity, and makes sense. It is most different, but then same could be said about Chicago, San Fran, etc versus the state they are in.
BTW Conchy Joe is what locals in the Bahamas call American Tourists, i was just wondering with the Keys that close to the Bahamas if part of that rubbed off on them and they call Mainlanders Conchy Joe
And the Keys are the Conch Republic. If they use that phrase never came across it.
Source was sorta of sketchy, but one report is that the Phins want a 4th for Quinn. Didn’t realize he was only 29 till reading the article. So a trade and contract re-do makes sense.

So South to you is pretty much Miami MEtro area, including Ft. Lauderdale? East of the glades to the coast?
West Coast, west of the glads South of Ft Myers?
Central, north of South and West Coast through Ocala?
North Florid, north of Ocala to the GA line, and east to Jax?
Pan Handle, PCola to about Lake City and noth to AL/GA lines?
If thats the lines i have been everywhere but West Coast.
An NFL scout told ESPN’s Adam Schefter West Virginia QB Will Grier is a “riser” who “put on a show” during his Pro Day Thursday.
——————————————————-
This has been my feeling about Grier is that he might sneak his way into lower first. I could see a team like NE taking him for sure. I dont know if he would even make it to our second round pick.
Speaking of the Panhandle and my home town.
TMZ Sports reports Cowboys DL Tyrone Crawford was involved in a bar fight in Panama City Beach, Florida on March 15.
A video posted by TMZ appears to show Crawford shoving his way through bouncers and at one point throwing a punch. TMZ reports Crawford “continued to get physical with multiple police officers” who were called to the scene. Crawford was not arrested for the incident and has not been charged with a crime. Even so, it is possible he will face a suspension.
Wow, Dallas is having a nightmare offseason with their DL. Should help the Quinn trade. LOL
Drew Lock meets with Dolphins, Giants next
https://thebiglead.com/2019/03/21/colin-kaepernick-nfl-settlement/
A number of talking heads talked about how Kaep beat the NFL, and yada, yada, yada. I even saw speculation that he received over 100 mil.
Less than 10 mil between the claimants is clearly not the NFL capitulating. To me it’s clear the players didn’t have the evidence to win, and the NFL didn’t want it drawn out any longer so both sides settled. good riddance
No question it was shut up and go away pay. For the NFL it’s worth it. Now if we can figure out how much AOC needs to STFU, I’ll see how much I can raise.
A high paying job at Amazon might do it…
She’s an idiot who gets way too much attention. With a few of these new Democratic congresswoman basically shitting on America, have you noticed Republicans with the exception of Trump are just staying quiet and letting them sink their party? Most Americans are not buying what they’re selling and that includes Democrats.
She also seems to be part of this twitter generation of politicians/political activist where they have to engage every single thing as if they are having to fight the entire way. She picks fights, and definitely doesn’t pick the ones she engages in.
Part of what i dislike most about Trump and he is an older fucker who shouldnt even know what twitter is. He would be the better for it if he didnt.
Good to see Hull back!
Good core special teams player and serviceable backup LB.
I’m really warming up to the idea of taking a QB in the draft. And part of that is taking one this year wouldn’t stop us in 2020. We like the guy can keep. Don’t like what you see in practice can trade away like seems Cardinals will be doing with Rosen. That’s value back. Maybe not full value, but you get the idea. And we do need a QB of the future.
I think you’re feeling it. It’s probably happening, so may as well embrace it
Still like Rosen and his cheap contract as well. So put him into that “take in the draft” as an option.
LOL @ Kong
D – The President of the United States should NOT have a twitter account. It drives me crazy, even if I agree with anything he’s saying. It’s ridiculous
Anyone see that report about that POS hunter who shot a sleeping Lion? I hope he meets the same fate but even worse.
They should put a steak on his face while he’s sleeping an let a hungry lion into his bed
First tie him up bent over and naked at a goat farm, then after they’ve had their way with him, drop him off in the middle of lion country covered in blood. This POS deserves all of it.
If you are going to shoot a Lion, wouldn’t sleeping make the most sense lol. I dont see the reason you have for killing a Lion at all. Only people i think that should be allowed to shoot a Lion is a person trying to save their own life, or if the population of Lions were out of control, maybe some sort of season to thin down the population should be considered. Otherwise, why the fuck do you need to kill one?
Because the guy is a coward fuckface.
There are animals i think are appropriate for killing and ones i dont. Deer actually make things dangerous, im ok with deer hunters, though there are a lot of them that just like to kill shit. Deer populations getting out of control lead to human deaths, especially in rural areas. Animals like Lions and Rhinos, etc. There is 0 reason to kill them other than they just get off on it. Maybe the Zulu people should take them out on a kill and let them instead be the game. Put blanks in their guns and then have camera rolling when the shot thats supposed to bring the cat down, doesnt.

They also should be appearing on late night talk shows, and every time you turn around on another one.
Tim — traveled around with a guide for a day over the holidays who felt real strong about wildlife preservation (and he was a Zulu tribesman…. thought that real cool). He hated the Chinese cause they were buying the stuff the poachers were looking for (Rhinos are doing real bad). When it came to the Big Cats, Elephants and such…. he hated the Americans (even if was polite about it to us). US folks are the ones who more often than not pay for the staged trophy hunts.
I know, this guy was from Illinois and he’s just another POS who gets off on murder but it’s an animal so no biggie! I really want bad shit to happen to this guy.

Shoulda said Squirrels too Tim, ya know to make you feel better about your murder.
I don’t kill squirrels, man. I was actually sad to see one of the local squirrels taken by what I think might have been a juvenile eagle. It was bigger than a hawk.
I agree with all of this, but I am not sure where it came from. LOL
I only think we should kill alligators, cottonmouths, rats, roaches, fireants, and such. If deer became that level, beyond nuisance, then I guess the herd should be culled, but we should try to eat them. After all, they’re just a cross between rats and cows.
I actually don’t mind the President having a twitter account or doing talk shows etc
Anyway you can communicate to people you represent is better IMO
I just don’t like the content
Eh, what would he need to communicate to the public through twitter that he can’t do through a presidential address or a television interview? It’s not like the guy isn’t accessible to the media, it’s like every day, right?
Not as often as he can through twitter
He can scream at the sky everyday, even every hour, on twitter…lol
Great form
They should have slowed it down as she came out of the water and played The Cars Moving in stereo for better effect. That’s one sexy bitch right there. 🐕
Lol
I apologize for a bumpy scroll-up that made me miss the beginning of the animal murder discussion.
Anyone who shoots a sleeping animal should be pistol whipped and tied between fire ant mounds.
I love all the ideas you people have for punishment for the “lion shooter”. I want to hear Piggi’s, I’m sure he has a good one!
I wanted to add to him being dropped off in lion country that his hands are tied behind his back and those really old metal roller skates are on his feet. Good luck getting around in the brush.
Let a big bull rhino give him the big horn right up the ass then throw him in a cage with a dozen gay gorillas with aids.

The thing is he’s battling some of the news networks and they have an audience of millions, He took to twitter to combat CNN and the likes there of,
on twitter he has an audience of billions.
it was very smart on his part
An audience of billions?
I think that’s the idea ORob
And that’s exactly what I mean
It’s gives him direct communication
I’m all for it as an idea of speaking to the people
Although I dispute “he took to twitter to combat” what he calls fake news. He was always on twitter
I generally agree – that’s why he is doing it
To speak to people directly without the threat of a harmful interpretation
generally I think it’s great for a public figure or a politician to use social media to communicate directly
Unfortunately for him he sounds worse than anyone can ever portray him…lol
But that’s a matter of opinion I guess
I agree, technology is for all. But Trump is who he is. He’s a brash, egomaniac who frankly doesn’t care if you disagree with him. He’s a jerk and cocky one at that.
My biggest issue against him is that he’s accused of being an all out racist and white supremacist which he’s not. It’s opposition propaganda by a party who elects racists and anti-American radicals, but hey whatever gives you the majority.
He’s going to win again because of that.
I think he is both a white supremecist and a racist
But I don’t want to get into that here
When push comes to shove I think the next election will be determined by how many people vote
If less than 60% of eligible voters vote – it’s hard to get a read on where we are heading
We were at 58% in 2016
Just like racism has been bastardized, so has white supremacy. Now all you have to do is say it and it’s true. People have really lost sight of what both of those mean. PC has become so sensitive it’s absurd. Reality can’t even be discussed because of it.
Sometimes people say it bc conduct warrants it
Drew Lock is the sleeper QB. He may go higher than recently thought. You can always take a chance on a guy who has all the tools and isn’t a jerk.
What lion shooter?
Google it. Watch if you want to. I wish I didn’t. It’s an execution.
I don’t even have any jokes for that
What an asshole
Happy to see Mike Hull back with us!
#WeAre
Piggy, what is the conduct that is racist and white supremacist?
An example of accepted racism is Don Lemon of CNN saying America’s main problem is white males, mean what? Oh that’s right he’s gay and black. Follow me? What did Trump say that rivals that?
Another issue I have with this is I hear this crap within my family and circle of friends from the bleeding heart liberal ilk. It’s obnoxious – as if anyone considered “white” are all from the same cloth. Isn’t the broad stroke the problem? Hypocrisy!
I have an old friend from back in school who is gay, Hispanic/Italian, a very successful entrepreneur and hardcore libertarian – who calls out this BS on FB all the time. He’s a slightly brown person. Is he a racist, homophobe and/or white supremacist? No!!!! LOL
It’s become juvenile.
I really don’t want to get into that on his site
Fair enough. I’m just tired of being lumped in with extremists simply because of the color of my skin. I have a big problem with labels, groups, tribes and others who can’t think independently. Big problem in this country right now. It’s not even about debating a course of action about issues anymore. It’s about hate or perceived hate of others when it fits a group mentality and narrative. A lot of it is based on ignorance and propaganda. Good luck America.
I’ve got no love for trophy hunters. And that they don’t shoot to kill instantly — because it might make their precious trophy head look bad with a wittle hole in it with bloodstains — pizzes me off, bad. 😡
That poor lion had to suffer the way he did, just so that his head could be mounted over a mantle? And he was killed in his sleep, to boot? Maaaaan…
As Tim stated above, I wish I hadn’t seen that video now. And I know someone just like this trophy hunter who lives just down the road from me. 😡
We’ll go knock on his door and when he answers it kick him right in the balls and call him a Cowardfuckbitch and then bitch slap his pussy ass.
😆
Man, It must be infringe on the rights of others day?????????????
Especially if you’re a lyin’ lion
That simple phrase is lost. It can’t be a simple violations of rights of another. It has to be categorized. As if being mugged and killed for whatever money you might have had is not as important as being killed in the name of a hate crime. I mean when did we become so stupid? The violation of a life is equal assholes!!!
I’m all for hunting if a species is getting over-populated/out of control/major danger to humans… but even that comes with a caveat to me: process the kill (ie: eat the meat).
Killing for the sake of the kill is barbaric, cruel and unusual in many cases, and it serves no purpose.
And of course, hunting (IMO) is all good if one is living off the land and need food to eat. We must eat to survive.
^
IMO, this MUST be done… especially after the Saints-Rams fiasco.
Hunters,
Please believe me, I don’t have a problem in any way with hunting, in and of itself. I don’t do it, but I would never condemn it… y’all can see my rationale above.
However, I DO have a problem with TROPHY HUNTING. There’s a HUGE difference between the two!
Big time!!! It’s a fucked up addiction. Look at me I killed a lion in a controlled environment. I’m awesome!!! It’s a sickness.
AMEN, Tim!!!
TROPHY HUNTING has all too often led to an E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event) for many species, both land and water/oceanic. It’s not wise to funk with the food chain for sport. For every action, there WILL BE an equal and opposite reaction… and very often, we find out what that reaction is AFTER it’s too late.
Trophy hunters all have the same size dick as a hampster and go to hunt to get away from everyone calling them little whinny vaginies and taking their lunch money.

Minshew is probably the ‘sleeper’ QB of this draft-class. I foresee him climbing boards late, and his potential is NICE.

We have to get out of Quarterback purgatory.
Eagles, Rams, Chicago, KC, Cleveland all with massive improvement since getting their QB. It’s not a coincidence. Get the best and go.
Define best.. I’m not buying the Haskins hype at 13 or trading up to get him. If he falls to 13 and we grab him then I will root for him. I trust Grier. I think that they target a QB in the 3rdor 4th. Shore up the OL and DL with your top picks.
The ball comes out -fast
He’s a big leaguer. Understands offenses, very smart, hard worker, wants it more than the next guy. It’s all there. He’s even better coming into the league than DeShaun and that’s saying something.
It’d be nice to pick and choose which rights “YOU” don’t like and revoke!
But what if I get the same veto right as you???????
Might not be your cup of tea then?????
Don’t let your emotions govern your reason!!!!!
Point taken, and respected, Wyoming. I STILL can’t agree with TROPHY KILLING, but we can respectfully agree to disagree on this one.
The Lion that was killed was earmarked to be culled. I don’t know what the reason was? But that’s how it works.
The reason is probably profit…lol
And by the way dad taught me that no matter how long you boil the horns, you can’t eat them!

Im actually not very knowledgeable on this subject
I’m sure there’s logic to it
And I’m a bit debated out for the day
So I will just ask that you leave pork out of it …lol

Daniel Jeremiah has a little bit of a Karl Spackler lower lip at times.
LOL!
I’m a hunter, but I I only hunt what I eat. Don’t care about trophies. Regarding head shots, they are not always the most humane thing. I have seen animals that were head shot by amateurs and lived. Broken jaws, ruptured sinuses, etc. there is a time and place to take that kind of shot.
I’m not buying Haskins. Not enough starts. Doesn’t throw as well under pressure. Rather have Grier later in the draft.
Regarding head shots I was trained to aim at the tunic and drop a little depend on distance.
I was taught to aim just behind the front arm which is the location of the heart
I actually do not hunt but when I was young I went with my dad.
The LIGHTNING BEAT GOES ON. –Less than 24 hours after an extremely difficult win in Washington against the Capitals, Tampa Bay climbed on the plane to play the playoff bound Hurricanes in Raleigh. The Bolts, looking a bit tired during the first two periods, turned up the juice and outscored Carolina 4-0 in the 3rd period to win going away 6-3 in front of a shocked crowd of Hurricane fans. The fact that the Lighning accomplished this using their BACK-UP GOALIE made the win all the more impressive. Tampa Bay is now 21-2-2 in their last 25 contests. I’d say they sure look ready for the Playoffs!
OUT!
People take trophies a lot of time even if they eat the animals. Deer are dangerous if not culled. Traditional hunting is one thing safari slaughter is another.
South Florida breakdown is kind of funny..
Keys are the keys – conch republic
Miami, Lauderdale, West Palm make up “south Florida”
Naples is the west coast
Tampa, Orlando, Daytona up to Gainesville is north Florida
Jax is more South Georgia than north Florida
The panhandle is a place you drive thru to get to Bama lol
Yup we moved about five years ago
We had lived in Coral Springs for over 20 years
We actually lived a couple of miles from stoneman douglas high
which is pretty much north Coral Springs area, nice place, nice people
After the kids had left for college we started looking for a little more room, little less crowded
Loxahatchee is in the upper west palm area, agricultural – equestrian area
Everyone up here is an acre plus, dirt roads and rednecks lol
Very quiet and layed back
Pretty much free to set up your property the way you want without a lot of grief, my neighbor keeps a couple of horses, another has turkeys while the guy on the corner has a huge cage type run with monkeys, while the wife has a few chickens
I like eggs but five a day is a bit more than my taste can handle lol
Update done !

I heard this morning that any call can be looked at, EXCEPT if there is NO FLAG thrown on play. In other words, the Saints NON-call still would happen. I was shocked when I heard that this morning on NFL radio
Sonny – You torture yourself all the time. Why do you do that? Fall in love with Daniel Jones so we freaking draft Haskins! Don’t you get it???
gas mask that mofo!
Maskins for a Haskins
I doubt this catches on but it’s worh a shot
https://twitter.com/theflyingpig44/status/1109102902155661312?s=21
lol
That’s awesome
Mike you’re right I guess I do torture myself. QB purgatory is bad place.
This Phins regime falls in love with a qb they’re going to go get him. They’re not going to sit back and wait or kick the can down the road like past regimes did. They’re too smart to sit on their hands and do nothing and not address the most important position on the team.
Yes, the trenches are important but if there is a guy they really love and feel is their guy they are going to move up and get him.
So, don’t be surprised when you hear a draft day trade that involves the #13 and X to move up into the top 5 to get their guy. It’s going to happen and, if they do, I’ll be all for it.
I agree if they really believe in one of the QBs. Could be why we’re looking to stock up on 2020 draft picks. The 2019 season is the transition year. If they get their QB, it’s a developmental year then they can add important pieces in 2020 in both FA and the draft.
If he gave up ceaseless self promotion it would probably serve him better: http://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/cam-newton-swears-off-sex-for-a-month-to-become-mentally-stronger/m0338zdpqrrr1gx9if68wsabb
If not having sex made you smarter, I’d be a frickin’ genius.
It worked for George Costanza
Spoken like a long married man.
Anyone know what “has luggage gems bringing with him” means?
I don’t even know what “a luggage gem” is. And how does Omar know where he will go anyhow? And older is 23. First contract only lasts as long as it does.
He’ll be 24 in April but I still don’t think that’s a big deal.
He transferred from FL, after he was suspended for a year for PEDS.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Will_Grier
Rather have him in the second than Any of the others in the first.
Is “luggage gem” the new “baggage”…lol
Whatever Container Grier has – it’s not deserving of much attention
It’s not a big deal IMO – he took a supplement he didn’t know was banned
I think of Grier as a bit of a gamble
Not a very strong arm
Usually that will drop an otherwise solid prospect
So I don’t think he goes in the first and I think Omar might be right about that
But if he is available in the 3rd I think he would be a great pick
Even if he can’t be a starter in this league
I think he can be a good backup
And a move like that sets us up nicely for a 1st round QB in 2020 (parting ways with fitzpaeick after 1 season)
Sonny – I get frustrated too, believe me. I do think they have a better chance of getting this right though with Grier in charge and MTP out of the picture. So far they have (#stayedthecourse) and I think will continue to do so. I know a QB is in the plans, it’s just a matter of this draft or the next one.
It’s easier to say baggage than luggage gems. WTF is that nonsense?
LOL, I also think his luggage gems are in the past.
I’m going to make up a few too
Will Grier Has Carry-on Geology
Will Grier has Samsonite Stones
Will Grier has Man-purse Sediments
Will Grier has Satchel Jewels
lol…that’s one step away from saying scrotum balls
I am an avid trophy deer hunter but eat what ever I kill. I would (almost) never shoot anything I was not going to eat. I say almost because our property is overrun by coyotes and we are working with wildlife management to thin them out. They did a survey on our property last year. I see them almost every day I hit the woods and if that is happening in broad daylight, you know you have an over population. I mainly hunt because I love the meat and rarely ever have to buy beef. I am just lucky that the property we lease has so many large bucks, I get enough meat from just hunting trophies (and the occasional cull buck).
My post wasn’t about traditional hunting. But shooting a sleeping lion is cowardly and fucked in the head.
100000000000000000000% agree brother! I have had about 7 black bear come across me and were in season in eastern NC but I never even thought about taking a shot. I observed how beautiful and cool they were then just yelled at them and they would run away.
M13, I am already on the Minschew train. I watched more tape of him and came away more impressed. I said it before that he is smart and has the best footwork (constantly resets) of any of the QB’s in this draft. Only set back, IMO, may be arm strength. I think he has Pennington (pre injury) arm strength.
Tim – You managed to get cowardly and lion in the same sentence. lol
Yeah I knew it when I typed it but it still holds true.
This is really sad.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/parkland-shooting-survivor-sydney-aiello-takes-her-own-life/?ftag=CNM-00-10aab7e&linkId=65145580
Yes very sad
They said she was missing classing in college and was afraid to go to class
She was close friends with one of the victims
Yep!
Damn, that really pisses me off. That’s horrible
The terrorist shooter is still taking lives.
Yeah, that’s beyond fucked up.
What a shame the kids were basically ignored, and never will feel safe in school, SMH
We’re kind of set up to sign a lot of UDFAs this year. I could see at least 20. If 5 of them turn out to help the team in some way and a few others make the PS, that would be good.
That will be fun to watch
Preseason will be better than usual
Yeah no doubt. It would be cool to hit on a few. Some STs and depth, but maybe also a player earns his way into the lineup even in some sort of a rotation. I expect us to pluck more affordable June 1st cuts too.
The Dolphins play at Giants this year so I’m going to that one. It will be fun to watch the new era live.
Watching the old era sucked! Lol
Just posted bond for 2 hotties. Scroll down to Parker, Melanie then Spicer, Maggie. Parker is the real HOT one. Waiting for them to get released and come to office to do paperwork. They got caught with weed on Pensacola Beach.
http://inmatelookup.myescambia.com/smartwebclient/jail.aspx
Don’t forget to enlarge photo. LOL
I should be ashamed, they are 8-9 years younger than my daughter. SMH at me.
Parker looks like a meth ho bag, jus sayin
I have no favorite QB this year. No favorites anywhere really. I’m looking forward to Grier drafting and adding a bunch of players I’ve never heard of. I think he’s going to turn some doubters into believers sooner than later.
I could see us drafting Lock. He fits the prototype.
Agreed on Lock, he’s a great fit for Miami imo
Would probably be during the draft with each pick on the clock if we were to trade up. Might not have to, or move up that far to get Lock if they want him.
Loxahatchee is laid back country, but close to the city and beaches too
I’m actually purchasing some property not far from there, close to the okeechobbee airport.
It’s a car lot for the airport, good income producing property
Fitz is backup quality imo, we need to trade up for Drew Lock, Fins met with Lock a third time
If we drafted Lock I could see us starting off with Fitz first and as the season goes on play it by ear, unless Lock just kills it in TC and the PS.
I think if we brought in Lock, the real starter will be revealed in practice and preseason.
It could very well work out the way You mentioned.
I’m not certain if Lock is better than Fitz at this point, but he for sure has a better upside.
With proper development , he could be the franchise guy we want and have needed since Marino retired
Whatever David, SMH
Of course The mugshots don’t show ass and boobs, so maybe she’s rocking in those departments, 😎
I’ve thought Lock looked the part since back in the new year and nothing has changed my mind. If anything he went from people saying he’s a 2nd maybe even 3rd rd pick to a 1st and don’t be surprised if teams trade up for him. That’s how it goes with QBs if they have the skills. You take chances on QBs if they are prototypes and he is.
Some food for thought, one of the knocks on Aaron Rodgers coming out was lack of mobility. LOL
To me Lock just needs to be coached up and gain more experience in the mental part of the game. He doesn’t lack any physical skills. I always take a QB like that unless he’s a jerk which Lock is not.
But what about his bag of jewelry?
No that’s Will Grier and he has luggage gems. LOL
What about his suitcase of boulders?
What did they do BBMike?
Smoked the weed. LOL
Oh come on!
Beach deputy rode by their car on a bicycle and smelled it. He called in another officer in a vehicle then they separated the girls and questioned them. They both claimed the weed was theirs, both trying to take the blame, so they took both to jail.
I see shit like this going away eventually (citation to appear vs going to jail) which makes sense to me but bad for business. It’s these small bonds that pay the bills for the office. The big ones put us over the top and put us into bonus land.
Sucks for them that they are going to jail for that
But I guess it’s the law
The marijuana stigma is ghey. LOL
Locking up people for weed, wtf, smh. Ridiculous
Girl smokes a joint, and the matrix makes money.
Governments and corporations always profit on the little guys
David if you think Parker looked like a meth head you haven’t seen any meth heads. What meth does to women is brutal. She’d look 50 and have sores where she had been scratching her self like bugs were biting all over. It’s digesting. That girl just looks like a little full of her self girl who probably lives off of someone else and doesn’t give a fuck. Look at how she and her friend we’re smiling for their mug shots. They thought that shit was funny.
I’ve seen the meth picks, She looks rough as hell for some reason, maybe she’s just starting out on meth, or just hard living.
One things for sure, if she looks rough around the edges at 19, what will she look like when she’s 30.?
She’s not my type, help Yourself is so inclined 😎
IMO cops generally don’t push to bust people fir possession. I have friends who are cops and generally speaking unless the person is an ass when they are questioning them the let them go. My guess after seeing those booking shits is they acted like little cunts and got the wrath of the cop
Shots
Depends heavily on who the cop is.
Some are total blue line fascists.
For example, troopers,,
If it’s a trooper ,forget it, Your going down, troopers are total douchebags
Btw , opinions on Fitz? Is he fitz magic or fitz tragic?
Both. LOL
I’m still laughing at folks who say Murray is too small for QB in the NFL, go for Tua next Year.
Yea, Tua is a tall guy for sure, he’s at least an inch or two taller than Murray, lol.
Tua claims 6 1, but next years combine will reveal his true height, might be sub 6′
He doesn’t look over 6′
Wtf people talking like Tua is so much taller , when he isn’t . But it’s humorous 😄
