Today HOF Miami Dolphins LB Nick Buoniconti passed away. He was the leader of the “No Name Defense” that helped the Dolphins win two Super Bowls. He was a very charitable, impressive individual outside of sports. He will be sorely missed.
RIP Nick Buoniconti
So training camp is here and I’ve failed to feel any excitement other than the dact that it started. I don’t think it’s the team’s fault necessarily, i think it’s just the nature of practices, how short they are, and how much less physical they have to be to meet today’s safety standards. We also had one of our coaches fired this week, pretty odd at this juncture. You could look at this a few different ways. If you want the positive spin, it’s great that Flores recognized a deficiency early enough and immediately took action. Some guys may have waited around to see if there was any improvement which could easily have cost us some poor play early on. Also on a positive spin, putting the O-line in the hands of Dave DeGuglielmo is a good thing as he is a very experienced coach, coaching since 2004. If you want to look at the negative side, Flaherty wasn’t a great hire for the rookie Head Coach Flores. He was also previously the O-line coach in 2017 for the Dolphins and I needn’t remind you we were awful as per usghe at that time. In any case, let’s hope for the best in this regard.
I was hoping to see some player really show well, and so far it’s just been a whole lot of “eh”. We signed former Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns, who played briefly last year for the Cowboys. I really liked Hurns when he was tearing up the league along with Allen Robinson at Jacksonville. If we get something close to that Allen Hurns we did very well. I was unrealistically hoping for a strong start from QB Josh Rosen. I didn’t really expect it this early but was hoping for a surprise. Instead we found out he never had to identify the MLB in any stop in his football career. Seems so odd to me, I thought it was a given. This doesn’t make him any less a QB, but just something he will need to learn, and Josh Rosen has been a player who studies the game, so bet on him getting this down, as well as the offense too.
Anyone think maybe Charles Harris would be tearing things up? Another thing I hoped for, but it’s very early yet, and he’s going to have a chance to make some hay as the preseason games begin 8/8, just a week and a half away! One guy who the coaches seem to be very high on early on is LB Jerome Baker. He’s going to be an impact player, taking off from where he left last year. He can do it all, run, tackle, cover and rush the passer and he will be asked to do all of those things. An early revelation has Minkah playing mostly slot corner, but I would think by the time the season starts, he will be doing a lot more as he did last season. As long as he’s doing things he’s great at, let it happen.
Things I look for to change in the next couple of weeks. I want Gug’s to try and find that starting 5 as quickly as he can and get them playing together as much as possible. I think the earlier we do that the better chance we have of having a cohesive unit out there. I also want to see guys take step forward, especially the aforementioned Charles Harris and Josh Rosen. Whether Rosen begins the season as the starter is not crucial to me, but to know he’s good enough to do so if needed is. I would really like it if he makes leaps and bounds in understanding the offense and making better throws under duress. If he doesn’t accomplish this, we may not see him this year as a starter unless of course something happens to Fitz or he just plays awful, neither of which I want to see.Training camp runs until Aug 6th, and then our forst game action as I mentioned will be August 8th at home against Atlanta.
GO DOLPHINS!

Well here’s another ray of sunshine?????
Enough trying to convince the blinded to see. On to other things . . .
i have oft thought this of You, but since you can see so well, explain how ross actions will help us win a super bowl? i bet you cannot, but here is your chance, show us what u see about it
because its easy to for anyone to see the evidence Ross did not do anything to help us win a super bowl, his commitment lies elsewhere
In our lifetime the Patriots have went from one of the least profitable teams in the league to one of the best
Winning often generates $
If an owner wants to make $ it’s often a good thing
Anyone who has problem with who owns our team should buy the team….. problem solved. 🙂
The Pats OL coach Dante Scarnecchia is considered one of the best if not the best in the business. Belichick talked him out of retirement when they had OL issues.

So first interview in over 17 years, and via phone nonetheless. Times have changed. Next one will be either a video interview or an in person interview.

B…& ….C are opposites as well but closer than A & D..

D – Yeah, I’ve decided to throw my hat in the ring. I’m not happy with the direction our current dictator administrator is taking our company. They have allowed about 8-10 good people quit in the last 3 months and don’t seem to trying hard to replace them. Instead, they are just dumping the workload on those still employed. I feel like that that’s how they’re going to try and operate, stretching everyone in 3 directions at once and not having a smaller payroll. I don’t play that shit. More and more are just going to jump ship and I want to make sure I’m not the last man standing.
——————————————
Dont blame you, it is a way to save money up front but generally causes a collapse in the long run. Most of the business that operate the best have at least adequate staffing if not being sligthly overstaffed. Better customer service, less stress on employees, etc. Dont blame ya one bit.
Mike, just continue to work as you always have, dont let them pressure you into working your ass off, so they can save money.
This could also be a necessary cost cutting move to keep the company afloat. Some companies dont like to fire people, instead they just dont replace those that have left.
David, Ross can support whomever he wants or do you not believe in freedom to have your own opinion? Not only that, but Ross has done a lot of community service in Miami. He has supported rountable meeting with city officials and Stills to support Stills outreach program. He has publicly supported Stills right to protest, he had said he was very impressed witht he convictions and the passion in which Stills approcahes the subject. I think your review of him just because he supports Trump is very harsh and shows a lack of tolerance. I have not seen one thing that Ross has done that seems to indicate he isnt a genuinely good man.
Why even bother D, he’s done the same thing forever, if it doesnt fit his far left agenda he’s going to bitch.
we have one thing now
stanger, campaign fund raisers do NOT give the money to charity, where did You hear that from?
I never said that. What I did reference was this. Would be glad to explain what doing the Giving Pledge Gates and Buffet set up if you are not familiar.
https://givingpledge.org/Pledger.aspx?id=274
Many or most of us have been wanting a championship for the last 50 years. i do remember us winning a championship, but it wasnt because joe robbie was tossing campaign fund raisers at his house for $250,000 a plate for a presidential campaign of a guy that called our players sons of bitches that should be fired.
it was because everyone came together for a common goal, win the championship, and they did, twice!
Joe Robbie was a NFL team owner, Mr Ross is a real estate developer that worships money at all costs, big difference
It was because the team was well coached and talented. Not because of Joe Robbie.
robbie never divided the players, if he did, there would have been no rings
He didn’t want to pay them either.
true, and then what happened? the players left
this is the good and bad of it all, when things were united, we won, when robbie got too cheap and alienated the players , they left
David — you keep calling Ross greedy even though he is giving billions away…. a whole lot more than the Dolphins are worth. You don’t have to like him as an owner but man are you hitting on him for reasons that all the evidence out there says is not true. Call him an absentee owner…. then might be a point.
David – Did you know that 50% of US high school students rank in the bottom 50th percentile for grades? Is that Trumps and Ross’s fault?
hang on, im still waiting for Mike to explain how this ross move will help us win a championship
my opinion is this will NOT help the team win a championship,
but obviously if someone knows so much more than Me that championships are here and plentiful, because of ross holding a campaign fund raiser, by all means let me know, i love championships too
But you weren’t talking about him as an NFL owner….. you were generally calling him greedy, which even I didn’t get how fit in with the Trump fundraiser. He’s not making money off that.
yea ok, its all for charity right? my opinion is this guy will not help us win a championship with campaign fund raisers, its too divisive. but I want to see how this helps us win a championship from someone who thinks he knows so much about it
do You think trump campaigh fund raisers are for charity? thats a new one on Me
Campaign fund raisers go to the campaign. The at least $4 billion Ross pledged to go to charity will go to charity. I’ve given you much explanation and even a link. Did you hit? Not sure what else I can do.
campaign funds go to the campaign, correct, and to the ones that hold the fundraisers
ross can do whatever he wants with his, like sign new players to replace the ones he ran off if it comes to that
im not sure if Stills or others will want to leave or not, time will tell
Think we all accepted what a campaign fundraiser did. And Ross has spent every penny on the roster he was allowed too. And then put $500 mil into the stadium as well. You been to a game in the shade yet?
When Ross plays the board game Risk, he always tries to start with as much of Europe as he can.
When Ross peels a banana, he always starts at the stem end like the rest of you stupid humans. Bananas are meant to be peeled from the bottom you morons!! Try it, your mind will be blown!! What I would like to know, MIKE, is how does this help us win a championship? I’ll wait…
lol cav, im still waiting to find out what charity gets money from the trump reelection campaign
It’s raining out, I think Trump hit the rain button by mistake. Bastard!
“Many or most of us have been wanting a championship for the last 50 years.” technically, window licker, Miami has won two championships and appeared in two more in the last 50 years. You must be in that bottom 50th.
Three
You’re right. Forgot Dallas
Lmao!
and im still smarter than You, isnt that humiliating to You? lmao
BTC hit $12,000 today moron, im always three steps or more ahead of You, and it sucks for ya huh? lol
doesnt have to be that way, i told You, and You could be wealthy also
ya know one of these days we wont be around, we need to think about leaving something for our families
Joe Robbies politics:
Following his graduation from law school, Robbie worked as a deputy state’s attorney and a professor of economics at Dakota Wesleyan University.[4] In 1948, at 33 years old, Robbie entered politics. He was elected to the South Dakota House of Representatives as a Democrat.[1] In 1950, he ran for Governor of South Dakota but lost to Sigurd Anderson.[2] The following year, Robbie and his family moved to Minneapolis at the encouragement of then-mayor Hubert H. Humphrey.[1]
His political and business careers further developed in Minnesota. In addition to operating his own law firm, Robbie served as regional counsel for the Office of Price Stabilization in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.[5] He was also a charter member of the Twin Cities Metropolitan Commission and chairman of the Minnesota Municipal Commission.[6] In addition to working on Humphrey’s political campaigns, Robbie represented Minnesota’s 5th congressional district at the 1960 Democratic National Convention.[2][7]
Robbie also worked as a lobbyist for the tobacco industry from the 1960s until his death. In 1963, he appeared before the United States Senate to voice opposition to a bill which would have regulated tobacco advertising.[8] From 1971 until 1989, he was the head of the Minnesota Candy & Tobacco Distributors Association.
Wikipedia
This doesn’t even mention the eleven players and coaches Joe Robbie had drawn and quartered just before the start of the ’68 season. That was pretty divisive…
Keep hauled another 12

Lol, I knew what ya meant, brotha.
ahhh, now i see how Ross will help us win a championship, thanks! lol SMH
Haven’t been kicked in the nuts by the post in awhile!
Lol…When you hit your first million let me know. I’ll tell you how 2000-late you are.
of course i will let You know
you are so jealous im smarter than You, lmao its funny
you dont have to remain in ignorance, you can research what i did and catch up to me someday
its not really having a high iq to invest in btc, its hard work
do the research, understand all the technicals, trends, and understand its philosophy , and You too could be part of the best investment in the world
You are truly the 8th wonder of the world.
phel, if You knew WHAT btc was, instead of listening to others, You would be buying it
>50th percentile
you speak from a position of ignorance, i speak from experience
David — I hope you get a hundred million in your investments, but do worry you might be trying to get there too quick. Think of your family first. Met too many savvy day traders and real estate investors (2000s) who went bust.
i understand it may seem that way to You, have you seen the stocks lately? OMG they SUCK
investors are dumping stocks, buffet is sitting on 122 billion in cash, and doesnt want to buy anything yet
alot of investors do go bust, i agree, but most of them hung on too long, the ones that bailed early , before the correction, won
back to now, while the market is tanking, BTC is exploding
investors are afraid of stocks right now, and using btc as a safe haven
David — I’m a simple index guy. Retired with what thought was enough for the rest of my life and now have double what I retired with. So stocks at least don’t suck for me.
ahhh smart man, good move
Not so smart just lucked out as to the right time, but point is did not put anything about my future at risk. Just hit a good market…. but even if a bad one would have been OK, even if the vacations not quite as nice.
It’s not Friday???? 😉
Aaah, but it’s not music 😉
Anything has to be better than reading more bitcoin talk. This is for those who read after us. It’ll give them a moment of sanity in the madness (if watching an action transvestite talk about the Church of England’s lack of intestinal fortitude through the medium of humor can be considered sane) lol.
Plus there are a couple of topically relevant lines, and “cake or death?..um cake please.” makes me crack up
Cav — modern version is “Let them eat Bitcoin….. that’s a real thing right?” 🙂
I’m not especially fond of the chirch of England , lol but feel free to discuss it
for about 4 years , i used to laugh at BTC, i listened to the ones bashing it and thought, wow thats stupid to buy the worthless currency wannabe. its gonna break everyones hearts and leave them broke.
but one day a crypto expert challenged me to study the technicals on it. i felt a little embarrassed because i always research the stocks, but never seriously researched BTC
so i said what the hell and researched BTC, again, and again, over and over, and i actually started looking for ways to talk myself out of it, but couldnt
if you cant beat em, join em, i bought in heavy and dont regret it, im so far up in gains its tempting to sell
David – I’m not explaining anything to you. You shut out what you don’t want to see or hear, and focus on one ridiculous point that has no merit. Your liberal bias in this situation is all too evident, so let’s leave it at that.
BTW – If Stills keeps this shit up, I hope they trade his ass! We don’t need him anyway. Then we’ll be united because the traitorous slug will have been removed.
Was not happy Stills did that. Not that he thought it, but cause he put it out there. Like professionals.
but my argument is this is not what we want for a team unification, teamwork wins championships, and i do NOT feel this is the way to do it
you disagreed, and know more than me about it, so i thought since you know what i said is false, You could explain the viewpoint that this will help us win a championship
this is a football question
LOL
All I’ll say is maybe Stills should put the team first, and not potentially risk the ire of the owner by putting his 2 cents where it doesn’t belong.
LOL @ Kong!
here is a question for You if You cant answer that one, , what is the end game for the trade wars?
i wouldnt criticize if You dont know this one, its the biggest question on Wall street, and everyone is asking it including Me
No idea, I don’t know enough to give a knowledgeable or potentially helpful answer
thanks for Your candor, i guess all of us will figure it out in due time, my stocks look so bad i cant even look at them anymore, lol
but ill hold and hope, at least BTC is my safe haven
Just for you Tim! 😉
https://media1.tenor.com/images/46a03ed537e199534e558d8a86c4745d/tenor.gif?itemid=5757225
LMAO! Ya know Tim loved this
LOL
Mike, I guess we both were a little snarky, can we move past that? Even better , what are Your feelings on our game tommorow? It’s just a dress rehearsal, but who do You think will just jump out at us? Or not?
Stills will have a monster game!
Then
Get told to find his own way home from Atlanta! 😉
I hope not, if we lose Stills as our deep threat, we don’t have one
Im gonna go with Devante as a breakout player, he has worked very hard for this chance, and he can assert himself as our top dog WR
I also believe Jerome Baker will have his best year yet!
First PS games are usually pretty vanilla and teams don’t show much. Mostly fundamental stuff, get into football shape etc.
True, but there is a lot of player competitions going on, everyone wants to be a starter but only 22 will be, and then the rest are fighting to make the team, nobody is happy when they get cut, so it’s an incentive for players to showcase their skills, or lack thereof, lol
I find the ps games interesting from that point of view, player evaluations
Yes that’s why it’s usually basic straight up football and not a whole lot of scheming. See how guys handle their roles and how they hold up.
Right, no real game planning, just a bunch of player evaluations in a game type setting against someone besides your own teammates, lol
I bet players get tired of going against each other all the time,
and are salivating at the prospects of going after opponents instead of going against their friend, fishing buddy, wing man, etc
They get to actually play football without the TC CBA rules. The rooks get to release the butterflies of their first NFL game. LOL
Is riding a carousel supposed to make a grown make nauseous?
I guess it would depend of the definition of a grown make?
What does it mean when my critics, don’t know what they disagreed with, forgot Dallas, and can’t spell? Lmao JK 😎
I think everybody is getting old , this sucks. I used to have better critics
Sorry I left out Church of England Cav, I’m getting old too, lol
I’d rank on Gase for doing this….. but I’d probably do the same if the meeting was with Peyton Manning. 🙂
————————————
Every Tuesday when he was in Denver, Adam Gase met with Manning at 2 p.m. Except this Tuesday, when Jennifer was delivering Wyatt by caesarean section.
Gase told his wife to schedule the operation for 10 a.m. “So they pulled the baby out of me and said, ‘It’s a boy,’” Jennifer says. “They didn’t even put my organs back and sew me up before he’s like, ‘You good?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I’m good.’” He said, ‘All right then, I’m out.’ They said, ‘You want to cut the umbilical cord?’ He said, ‘No, I’m good.’” At 2 p.m., Manning was stunned to find Gase waiting for him in the meeting room.
Never heard that one before, football is very demanding of the players lives
However Manning got fairly compensated, he made more than the average papa jons spokesman
And just think, in a couple more decades we will be old like Biden, and spend the rest of our lives looking for Houston in Michigan, SMH
I just peeled a banana for my granddaughter the way the ape taught us. All I can say is – mind blown. I’ll never do it the wrong way ever again.
🦍🍌😎
LOL — how many you bringing to the Fest? The final cut is approaching.
Son plus 3 as it’s been
Cool. Still a chance to bring more if you want. Always have a couple extra in there.
This is what that ape life is all about. Changing things for the better, one banana at a time. 🙂
When I discovered this, I felt like I had been lied to and betrayed my whole life. Kinda like learning (LIFE SPOILERS< SPOILERS< SPOILERS) that there is no Tooth Fairy or Santa Claus.
LET THE CELEBRATION BEGIN!!!!!! Here we are, about 25 hours before the kickoff of the Fins first preseason game, AND MY TICKETS FINALLY ARRIVED!!! That Steve Ross sure is a great man!!!
———————-
DON’T KNOW WHY anyone’s surprised Ross is throwing a fund raiser for Trump. Way, way, back in the WFL days, Trump and Ross were co-owners of the New Jersey Generals, right, Mike E.?? –That’s the franchise that lured more than a few big names away from the NFL. They’ve been buds ever since. However, I would be surprised if Hershel Walker, the Generals stud running back, ever had a dinner in his honor thrown by Ross.
WILL FINISH THIS LATER.
Yessir OD, correct.
Trump was a big part of the demise of the UsFL because he conned the owners into get rich schemes by directly going head to head with the NFL, told them the USFL teams would get included into the NFL
And inclusion to the NFL would make their franchise values skyrocket
That would never happen, the NFL never had any serious interest at adding the usfl teams to the NFL
So the league folded, they couldn’t compete head to head with the NFL, they should have never followed Trumps advice, and stuck with spring football where they were having reasonable success
Stanger, there is still a chance Jim may go but he hasn’t given me the word yet. He’s flying to Pittsburgh a couple of weeks later to see us play up there. We’ll have a good guy in the house.
Big fan of Jim. And the tickets are cheap.
In 1983, Trump tried to sign Don Shula to coach the generals, but Shula said no if he couldn’t get an apartment out of the deal
Not sure about how Dolphins fans will react, but Ross’ Trump fundraiser already has customers of Equinox and SoulCycle getting social media busy. A btw connection on my end for that is the better half once worked for Equinnox.

Ross is the chairman of real estate company, Related Cos., which owns SoulCycle and its parent company, Equinox, and is the owner of the Miami Dolphins. Many celebrities, including Chrissy Teigen, Sophia Bush and Billy Eichner, have taken to Twitter to express their outrage over Ross’ fundraiser, taking aim at his many companies.
Yep — which is why Equinox put this out.
its beginning to look like Ross put his foot in a hornets nest, this goes way beyond kenny stills
he should just call it off and concentrate on the season, the team doesnt need distractions for their rookie coach and young players IMO
if he wanted to do this fund raiser, he should have planned it after the season, not now
David — again, the Dolphins are just a hobby for him. He’s worth 8 billion and probably more now that Hudson Yards is the rage in NYC. He does his investments just like you do yours.
I’d cut Stills right now, that’s insubordination, any other business and he’d be fired. He’s a one trick pony anyways.
Ross has allowed him to kneel, and this is the way he acts.
The players can back dems, but anyone backs Trump and they’re the bad guy, why? Because they allowed the players to have a voice in their platform.
you already know why, because trump is a hateful white supremacist who is a heartless jerk
he consoled the shooting victims, and offered no help, by holding a critic bashing campaign event, he is always the victim and its whine whine whine, ross needs to grow a spine and say no
The Texans owner was right, you cant let inmates run the asylum.
Ross has plenty of fucking bug spray, he’ll kill all the fucking annoying hornets. SHEESH!
What’s the name of that hit song from that Disney musical about that very cold icy tale?
Who cares what Ross does outside of the Dolphins? I mean does anyone here want anyone telling them what they can and can’t do? I think not. This shit is getting really fucking boring.
test
Pass!
vote 4 TRUMP….. make david cry again…..lol.
Hey buddy. Glad to see you on. I guess we might as well make it official then….2020 Trump 4 Pres
Welcome back Top!
thanks, I’ve missed you and Mike E.
On Stills, I have no problem with him speaking his mind, even to his boss. As a manager, my issue is his huge ignorance and lack of effort to educate himself. Much like his buddy Kaepernick, he spouts off on things he knows little about. For instance, Ross can spend his money how he chooses and his paid for initiative can still do what he wants it to. .
It was a stupid idea. Sports initiative for equality? The NFL is 65% black. The NBA 75% black. What inequality are we looking for here? Black men make up less than 6% of then population so 65% sounds a BIT high. Is he standing up for Asians looking to find a way in? Does he want women in the NFL? What exactly does this VERY un-silent partner bring to the relationship? Skill at kneeling? Whining that the guy who pays his paycheck isn’t doing what he wants? I don’t know what this initiative brings except to find a way to offload some taxable income into ‘your charity service’.
I’d prefer for Kenny to prove with actions not words…and please start doing that in the job you’re paid millions to produce in? Could you maybe hit that 1000 yard mark, buddy? After SEVEN YEARS, can you finally hit the 950 mark at least? Guy didn’t even put up 600 last year but he definitely knows a lot about racism. Must be his primary job cause he sucks at the other one.
Top, great to see you. You doing alright?
yea, i’m recovering from that damn stroke I had. thanks for asking.
We’re glad not even a stroke could keep a good man down.
I hate it happened but just glad you’re back in the road to recovery.
Stills is not the only WR on our team that can get deep. I also don’t care what his opinions are. I root for him to play well. That’s where it ends for me as a fan of the team he happens to play for.
Lots of Americans are having a really hard time with what freedom means.
I honestly wish they would keep that stuff out. It’s all the radio shows talk about and the NFL bends to all kinds of ridiculous ideas. They don;t seem to realize that if you provide good games, we really don;t care about the player’s or their opinions. Keep it to yourself. What ever happened to the unsung hero,? The hidden donor, the people that did things just to be doing good without needing everyone to pat them on the back? Isn’t getting paid millions every year good enough? Very selfish society today.
Unfortunately we’re too far past that to reel it back in. Some people do what you wish they’d do, and others have to speak publicly on anything that bothers them. Don’t see that changing.
ding ding ding…….winner…….hey, he’s on the team (even though he’s a it’s all about ME player).so I reuse to bash the guy……. I just ignore all his nonsense.
refuse to bash.
Top – Glad to see you, I hope the best for you man. As speedy a recovery as possible
thanx bro.
According to some logic, being a Dolphins fan can cause one to have a stroke
I’m glad I learned to manage my anger early. Maybe the Dolphins being consistently terrible has saved my life? It’s hard to get angry when the season is usually over by December.
Good for you man, i wish i could say the same
TOP, good to see you and glad you’re on the mend.
only had to spend a couple months in the Milwaukee VA. my doctor was surprised that the 289 over 191 blood pressure didn’t kill me…..but I guess that.i’m just stubborn that way.
Whoa, sorry to hear that. Glad you’re still with us.
Top in the House….. great to see you man.
hey bro 🙂
the intelligent fan in me wants ROSEN to become the QB of MIAMI’s future, quickly……as to save the plethora of draft picks we have accumulated,
Good to see you back Top!
thanx pal 🙂
I would love to use that cache of picks on the wholeTEAM, not just a QB.
Exactly, that means Rosen is our franchise QB, maybe we can even trade back for a slew of picks, since some top QBs are coming out next year.
TOP. Great to see you on the blog again. Years ago when I finally decided to post after just reading everything you were the first interaction to welcome me. I’m glad you are doing better and sorry to hear you went through what you did. Hope everything is going well for you. 🐕
that’s because you’re a good doggie 🙂
I tried to log in a while back but couldn’t for some odd reason, so I just gave up….. tried today and it worked…..go figure.

M13 — Point was I missed you, and I do. And yeah threw out a bit abut your passion for politics, but what brothers do to each other. All meant with love. Hope you set up and stay a while.
———————–
Brother… in case you hadn’t gotten it through your ‘knuckle head’, I’ve been trying to stay AWAY from politics on this board! And yes, I use the word ‘knuckle head’ in jest back to you. 🙂
I think we’re good, Stanger, and thanks for breaking the ice. However, I’m certainly not over a certain admin who personally attacked, insulted, and lied about me… who blatantly crossed the boundaries of ANY terms of service/decency for ANY blog… past, present, or future… and we ALL know it. Many have reached out to express their dismay with how the admin was WAY out of pocket.
Should another incident with this admin happen again, I’m gone for good… and I’m absolutely positive that this admin would LOVE for that to happen. You’d better put this admin in check before this admin responds most unkindly again… that is, if you truly value our brotherhood/friendship and/or my presence here.
Thank you, Stanger!
what up brother from another mother?
See below, my BFAM!!!
We all know what you’re saying and many of us saw it. The certain admin you refer to is also aware that it was him and his comments that pushed your hiatus.
I called him out about it too as I thought he went too far.
M13, there’s been a lot of ugly stuff on these blogs since we all started and you still see some of it. Most of us have gotten caught up in some ugly arguments. We just need to clear the air at some point. You don’t have to be close with anyone. Post your opinions and move on if need be. As you know a lot of topics are tolerated here.
I thank you kindly, my Brother!
by the way Mike E….great article…..always loved #85…..fan favorite as a kid.
TOP SECRET back in the house!!!
Hey man, GRAND to see you again, sir!!! So sorry that you had to suffer through a stroke… 😦
not much to suffer, if you’ve seen the nurses on the 9th floor or the Milwaukee VA…….lol.
NICE!!! You probably looked at the nurses like this: 😍
Would love that we don’t have to draft a QB in 2020. That would be the best case scenario.:)
AGREE !
M – What Tim said is really the best way to handle this. Of course it’s your choice and I respect that, but by now you have to realize that you can’t like everyone and in return, can’t be liked by everyone either. For those don’t get along, why ruin your experience because of it, just don’t interact with that person? Again, not telling you what to do, just a suggestion pal.
I guess I feel betrayed. I REALLY liked this admin and for a very long time. I absolutely enjoyed sharing Star Wars, movies, and other shared enjoyment with this admin. When he got the crap beat out of him in NYC, I prayed for this admin, sincerely.
It’s just unbelievable to me that this admin flipped on me — HARDCORE — and over relatively small peanuts. Truth be told, it DID hurt my feelings.
mf13…… holy shit, when I was released from the ICU, and went to the 9th floor……you would not even believe how smokin hot my nurses were….lol.
Provide some pictures or it didn’t happen!!! JK/LOL, my friend!!! 😀
Top – Semper Fi!
back at you devil dog 🙂
With the QB situation we have, I see Fitz and Rosen splitting the first 3 quarters and Rudock plays the 4th tomorrow night.
This is the first time since 2008 where I’ve ZERO expectations… meaning, it’s a rebuild/retool. Just let the best man win at his position (like we did in ’08), and take it from there. I’d still take the over on Vegas’ stakes, in terms of wins.
Same here, just not sure Fitz will be treated like the definitive starter because he’s new too. Meaning not sure if Fitz is one series and done. Unless they just feel he’s a seasoned vet. I’m only throwing a hunch out there.

*****
No one is going to put me in check….lol
What a complete cocksucker
Consider this your invitation to leave
Narcissistic, much? What did I ever do to you?
I don’t – know you only explicitly posted about me just now
Wtf is wrong with you
Try not to be a coward about it
I love the way you guys in asked for him to come back like he wouldn’t do this all over again
You know who he is already
He’s the same person he’s always been
Nothing new with M13
Except he’s the type of person to do just what he just did
It’s the same routine from this guy
You’ve clearly got beef with me. What did I ever do to you?
Lol
Scroll up
LOL, that’s what you did to ME! What did I do to you?
I told you that day
I didn’t disappear for month hoping people would beg for me to come on…lol
I confronted you at the moment you acted out
It’s a little late to ask me to recap
And coming back and telling people to keep me in check…I mean you can’t appear weaker …then acting like that’s not a disrespectful thing to say…I don’t know what to say to you now
It’s pathetic
You should have had the nerve to deal with me then
Or maybe the next day
Or something
Coming back and engaging other people about me
That’s sad
It says who you are
I don’t respect you
That’s just the truth
We already have a better record than the team we are playing tomorrow night.
Get it ALL out, Pig. What did I ever do to you?
I think I told you everything M13
I don’t like the fact that say things and then pretend you didn’t
I don’t like that you try to victimize yourself
You could have easily posted here and not said a thing about me
But you chose to in a disrespectful way
And now you are pretending you aren’t referring to me
That’s a pretty dishonest thing to do isn’t it?
All you had to do was come here and strike up a conversation with anyone and just not dealt with me
You chose not to
That’s was your choice
YOU are the one who just played the victim with this post… and nobody is going to buy it. I NEVER did anything to you, and the peeps here KNOW IT.
Don’t seek to anger me, for it won’t work on me. I’d rather let the past be the past. But I still want you to explain to the peeps here how I somehow wronged you.
Lol
you came to this blog tonight and instantly starting to talk about me tonight… it wasn’t subtle…it’s not a puzzle …that’s what you did
So far it seems that Godchaux and Wilkins are the top interior guys. Having Spence and Taylor as the subs is pretty good. The challenge for this team is finding the edge guys.
Agreed.
And I can see that the one admin is attacking me again. I guess I’m not allowed to defend myself, huh?
Never said that. I was talking about the DL and front 7. LOL
I’m audi.
Piggy, you don’t have to engage your vendetta. I see a lot of stuff everyday that I have no interest in. We all have a choice.
Tim
Don’t get involved please
Don’t anyone else get involved
If M13 thinks he candle handle this
He shouldn’t need your help or anyone’s help
He should be able to handle it himself
M13
You are allowed to do what you want…lol
But if you talk about some one without them being here
And they see it
It’s not a reasonable response to expect them to be silent
You are the one that can’t handle the confrontation
So if you can’t handle it – don’t instigate it
See above
I did see above
It doesn’t make sense in light of your initial posts
M13, I’m not the kind of person who lets things slide
I confront it
Thats who I am
I don’t ask other people for permission
I don’t care whether it popular
if you felt you had something to say to me tonight
You should have addressed it to me
If you felt you had something to say to me a month ago
You should have said that to me
It probably would have lead to another argument
But at least it’s not talking about some one as if they aren’t in the room or can’t read it…lol
Don’t tell Tim, or Mike, or anyone else
Just me
That’s how grown men deal with things
Everything I’ve said about you I’ve said to you
They might not always be nice, but they are at least to you and don’t wrap anyone else into my fight or your fight
I don’t think you’ve done the same
Not tonight
Not before tonight
Not to other people (albeit I admit that’s none of my business)
I just don’t respect that
There’s not a whole lot of things people can say to me that offend me or bother me including invoking the memory of a hospitalization after I was mugged
But wow… not saying things to me
Or pretending you didn’t just do that
It just seems weak to me
I think I would like to see Fitz and Rosen alternate series with the starters.
Maybe not exactly one then the other, because sometimes a guy like Fitz can do something to set a d up for the kill on the next series or discover something that will work in a series that goes wrong for another reason. So if either of those occur, then give Fitz the first two series.
But Rosen needs some time with the first OL at least. It would be ok to take out the first WRs and RBs but we need to see Rosen when he is not handicapped, especially after what happened to him last year.
Rosen needs the reps not just so the coaches can eval, but just for practice.
Everyone knows who Fitz is for good or bad. They really need to find out Rosen and they need to find out everything, not just his particular skills when he’s not under pressure. Can he handle being #1. Can he handle the speed of the starters? Did he get PTSD from all hits last year? Who will be his safety blankets, who is he comfortable with, how fast can he go through his read, etc, etc, etc. It just isn’t the same with the 2s
I’m glad he’s on our team this year
But every year it’s the same thing with Fitz
He’s good for a few games and then bad for some more
And I would expect the same no matter how familiar he is with the rest of the offense
But Rosen probably really needs the work
So I hope he’s get more reps and more time
NOW I’m audi.
Welcome back everyone! 😀
LMAO….Pass the popcorn!
Also
Welcome back Top
Hope you are recovering from your stroke
Good to see you again
Fuck Man,, Get over the past and move on . Don’t need all this BS on both good people.
^^^
From some of the stuff I’ve read so far our base defense might be a 4-2-5.
DE/OLB Harris and Carradine
DT Godchaux and Wilkins
LB McMillan and Baker
DB Howard, Rowe, Minkah, McCain and McDonald
Jones? Or for tomorrow? But you also have McMillan in there and he’s likely out tomorrow.
Jones is walking around in a boot and has missed most of the offseason. I didn’t realize McMillan was out.
I have a gut feeling we trade Kiko and Reshad before the regular season. Both high paid vets out with injuries. I don’t see a fit for everyone. We’ll see.
I’m thinking they will take that chance before trade deadline when a team hits a bad place and is willing to pony up something worth the trade. I’m just as good with us keeping them but I feel you are probably right
WELCOME BACK MF-13 and WELCOME BACK TOP!! It’s great to have both of you here!
——————–
BACK TO FOOTBALL. Last season Rosen played behind one of the worst O-Lines in the NFL. This year he likely will be doing the same. But, perhaps, THIS YEAR might be different. I’ve really liked what I’ve seen and heard from the Flores regime. But, as all of you know, Flores, like his dismal predecessors, still has to SHOW ME!! And drafting only ONE highly ranked O-Lineman in this year’s draft wasn’t enough to make this problem go away. But it’s a start, and I’m thankful for that.
——————-
Drafting a REAL FULLBACK who can block is also part of the solution. And Flores’ demand that our tight ends get serious about their blocking assignments is MUSIC TO MY EARS. So, unlike those NFL pundits who are predicting 1,2 or 3 wins for the Fins this season, I actually believe Miami can and WILL do a bit better than that. NO winning season. NO end to the playoff victory drought. But it could be a step in the right direction.
——————
That said, the BIGGEST STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION would be a decision by Steve Ross to take his huge profits and SELL THE FRANCHISE. This upcoming Super Bowl will give him a prime opportunity to showcase his franchise. Perhaps some potential buyer will make Ross’s day with a bid he simply can’t ignore. Ross will soon be 80 years old. It’s time for him to increase his focus on his philanthropic interests, while he’s still able to do that. I, for one, would not be surprised if this season is the time he selects to do just that.
Top!
Glad to see you have recovered well enough to let the Dolphins make you cry again! 😉
Welcome back!
To the rest!
Well???????
I’m disappointed in Stills!
Ross defended him in the owners meetings!
Told the NFL that the team would not be fining players that kneel!
Supported his organization!
Supported him!
That’s the thanks you get for doing something nice I guess??????????
Hell I didn’t crucify Stills because he was actually doing something about it, not just a talking head like Krap-on-a-stick!
But I think my support of him has reached it’s end!
I’m with Piggy – Everybody should stay out. Don’t pick sides.
And piggy, I just want to say to your face that you’re a plump little porker. NC BBQ style.
Fuck Stills. Can’t be a socialist and an American. Can’t support a socialist and be an American. Hope both his legs fall off.
IT’S GAME DAY BITCHES
GO DOLPHINS
Finally!
And a cheery good Football morning from Mando!
what did i say a few weeks ago?
TRADE STILLS!
WOW just read up!
shit was flying last night. i hope all parties involved get this crap out of their system and move forward.
DON’T LOOK BACK!
Good to see Top & MF-13 back
Piggy i didn’t know you got mugged! i hope they caught the guys who did that. wished i could have been there for you.
game day is here! can’t wait to see all the new toys!

judging him on a team like tampa is not fair, he went 10-6 with the jets, the only time in recent memory they were any good, buffalo sucked as well.
put a team behind him i bet he can deliver.
