Secondary to none

Xavien Howard at Left Cornerback, Byron Jones at Right Cornerback. Bobby McCain at Free Safety and Eric Rowe at Strong Safety. I believe this is our best secondary in a long time. Both Howard and Jones can be lockdown corners. Howard has the INT’s but Jones is regarded as one of the top cover corners in the NFL and shuts down the receivers he’s on. A healthy Bobby McCain this season will be better than he was last year struggling with a shoulder injury. Eric Rowe who has played a lot of different positions much like McCain, really seemed to find himself at Strong Safety. I thought he played his best ball there and his elite athleticism is a big plus at safety.

We drafted another CB who will likely be our slot and nickel corner in RD1 pick #30, Noah Igbinoghene (Iggy Mahogany). Those 5 guys in addition to up and comers like Nik Needham, Stevie Parker, Ken Webster and Ryan Lewis makes our depth legitimate. At safety we have 3 young vets who provide nice depth in Clay Fejedelem, Adrian Colbert and Kavon Frazier and a very promising rookie who may end up rising to the top of the depth chart before long in Brandon Jones. Add in a CB who at one time seemed like a potential starter in Cordrea Tankersley. Tank started 11 games in 2017 replacing Byron Maxwell who we picked up from Philly. Tank definitely showed promise in 2017 but suffered a season ending ACL injury in 2018. He was placed on the PUP in 2019 while recovering but couldn’t make it back last year. This is Tank’s final year on his contract so I expect he will be looking to crack the lineup to get himself another contract next year either here or elsewhere.

Having two shutdown corners should make a huge difference for our defense. We all know we’ve struggled to get to the QB the last few years but the additions we made this offseason in both free agency (Kyle Van Noy, ShaqLawson, Emmanuel Ogbah) as well as in the draft (Raekwon Davis, Curtis Weaver, Jason Strowbridge) will give us a lot more juice in the pass rush department. Pairing that potentially dominant secondary with an upgraded pass rush could yield excellent results from our defense. I don’t about all of you people here, I’m really looking forward to seeing this defense grow this year!

GO DOLPHINS!!

    Guys, I wrote a post for tomorrow morning so the site doesn’t lag loading due to all the videos, but I forgot your e-mail addresses. So I am going to post it here;

    Here you go

So, How about those Dolphins, Huh?

    Glad I can contribute.

  11. wyoming85 says:

Book burning? Now there’s a progressive stance!

  12. wyoming85 says:

  13. Krishna says:

Book burning is old school AND unnecessary.

POSTPONING the election to suit conspiracy theory BS, spouting lies about mail-in voting, and passing voter suppression laws is more the issue.

  14. Mike E. says:

Krishna – Answer me this: Why have the democrats been pushing so hard for mail in voting?

  15. Krishna says:

Mike E, why does it matter how we vote as long as we get to vote?

It’s also my understanding than mail-in voting has favored Republicans for years. Again, why should it matter.

Electronic voting, is susceptible to cyber interference. Please don’t tell me you disagree with this. Every nation on the planet has/will/did.

    • Krishna says:

And more directly, so every vote will count.

If anything, the Democrats have done a poor job of educating their followers on filling out the vote with no mistakes while the Republicans are much more savvy on doing it right.

      • Krishna says:

This leads to democratic votes being thrown out. Sounds like a FL issue on a national level.

    • Mike E. says:

I can give you my opinion for whatever that’s worth. I believe they’re doing it because they believe they will get more young people to vote who normally wouldn’t bother going out to vote and we know what young people either still in school or just out of school are going to vote for, democrats. Democrats because they’re brainwashed in school to think that way. I mean it’s as clear as day that one party wants it and the other doesn’t. Can we at least agree on that much?

      • Krishna says:

Ok…and I would submit the 65+ would like to have a say, but standing in line for 8, 4, 2, 1 hour is troublesome for them.

      • Mike E. says:

Krishna – That’s true about the 65+ but they aren’t going to want to fill out paper work and they certainly aren’t going to get on a computer or try to vote from their cell phone if they even have one. The truth is I’m not overly concerned if Trump loses, it might actually be better for our country just to end this vitriol. At least that would be my hope if Trump lost, that things would calm down.

      • Krishna says:

Oh, they are most likely to vote, the ones who are expendable according to dan Patrick in TX.

  16. Krishna says:

Mike E, I completely agree. I am holding out hope that once he’s gone, we can re-unite.

The morning I woke up after election night my only thought, you get what you pay for.

He is an evil man, imo, always has been, lied, cheated, and paid off all his transgressions with hush money. These are all facts.

I keep trying to understand what he has done for our country. I really don’t get any of the merits he has “brought” to the table as a president.

  17. Mike E. says:

Krishna – I don’t know about that. Or maybe let me clarify. I think there’s probably an age span of maybe 5-10 years, meaning 65-70 would probably be active in this but the 70 and above crowd less so. Of course there are exceptions, but the over 70 crowd is either going to vote at the polls or not at all IMO.

  18. Krishna says:

If your comment is dedicated to voting, again, why suppress certain forms and not others? Why make it harder?

You are aware that 50-70MM votes were mailed in the election Trump won. Please check that.

  19. bookman11 says:

There is no way in hell if Biden is elected that this country is united, unless united is defined as the radical left allowed to do whatever they want. Smh.

    • Krishna says:

I don’t see Biden as nearly as radical as Trump. Lifelong Republicans are fleeing the party. He is destroying the party that at one time I had respect for.

      • bookman11 says:

I see Biden as a puppet to be guided along by AOC and all of those other idiots, that’s what scares me.

  20. Krishna says:

    I don’t see that happening.

I can envision what another 4 years of Trump will do to this country. Let’s postpone the election to make it safer while sending kids back to school? I’m clueless about this logic. Who can rationalize this?

Again, what have been the merits of his presidency? If you say the economy we will have another debate about business cycles and riding coat tails.

    Please…Help me understand.

  21. Mike E. says:

Bookman – I don’t think the country will be united, no shot. At the very least, the whiners will finally STFU! That’s worth something to me.

  22. bailbondmike says:

Biden sucked a bunch Chinese dick during the Obama presidency. Even tossed their salad. Trump put an end to it and I don’t want to see things return to the US getting butt fucked by the Chinese any more.

    • stangerx says:

Were you in favor of a trade war with China? Went against everything they taught me in my economics class. The The Trans-Pacific Partnership did make sense to me. Was bonding a bunch of countries together in a trade zone against China.

  23. bailbondmike says:

Yeah, lets vote for Biden (actually his puppeteers) and increase our taxes by 7 trillion like they are proposing. Hell, at least Warren only wanted to increase taxes by 2 trillion.

  24. ocalarob says:

    I’m reclaiming my time!

  25. stangerx says:

Bookman — if Biden is a puppet of the left why didn’t the left just make Bernie win the primary instead? Dems are shifting left to appease the progressive faction though…. no doubt on that one. Same time the centrists moved together to keep control. Got Mayor Pete, Amy etc to bow out before South Carolina. They took one for the team.

    • wyoming85 says:

      Bernies not a puppet.
Bidden will pull in the middle ground Dems, like you that don’t think he’s a puppet. 😉

      • stangerx says:

Gotta think Biden more likely to win the election a major selling point in getting the others to call it a day. And just fact after all…. including with me. Q is do the progressives still turn out.

    • bailbondmike says:

My guess is they want someone other than Sanders and Biden as president. Best option was Biden so he can be deemed incompetent and their VP becomes president. Oops, sorry. That was another conspiracy theory. lol

      • stangerx says:

Seems the logical puppet master to look to on Biden would be the DNC and the big money donors instead of the left. The left lost when Bernie did. But maybe that doesn’t play as well on Hannity. 🙂

      • bailbondmike says:

Haven’t watched Hannity in a long time. Too repetitive.

  26. wyoming85 says:

First the election will not be delayed!
He just said it to dig in the left’s side!

The left is the ones saying that we can’t vote in person!
Even if you can go to the grocery store?

This must be the smartest fucking virus on the market for the things it attacks and the things it doesn’t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does everyone understand the difference between absentee voting and the mail in vote proposed?

And I can stand up and tell you that in my industry, if Biden gets voted in I’ll be looking at a new profession! He will kill the oil & Gas / construction!!!!
Maybe I’ll try me some of them food stamps? Never done it before but it seems to be a good way to live??????

  27. Krishna says:

Trump the Destroyer. Perfect the next commissioned destroyer.

Again, what are the merits of this presidency. I’ve asked at least 3 times.

All I’ve seen him do is tear down relationships since WWII without building a new except with dictators, tear up treaties and agreements without replacing them,, replace boarder fences, assault women, and everyone of color, attack US citizens for photo ops with a bible (please?), and fuck up an economy he was handed that he juiced with tax cuts for the 1%,’ers. That’s just for starters.

And probably the biggest one, promoted and all flames of divisiveness beginning with his inaugural speech.

    Just my take.

What are his merits? And, what is his vision for the next 4 years? More of the same, yikes.

    • wyoming85 says:

      I’ll give it a shot

tear up treaties – Iran? they were making nukes anyway! Even after all the money Obama paid them not to! You can’t bargain with people that hate you! They’ve never kept their word since I’ve been alive!

without replacing them – 2 new trade deals that will have evened the playing field (If China doesn’t back out)

replace boarder fence – That’s build a border fence ( For the life of me I don’t understand how the word Illegal is so hard to understand)

assault women – I haven’t heard of a case being turned in to the police? Although I do believe Biden does have an active suit against him!!!

assault everyone of color – ??????????? Opportunity Zones, School of choice, Prison reform.

attack US citizens for photo ops with a bible – See DOJ Barr’s testimony from Tuesday

fuck up an economy he was handed that he juiced with tax cuts for the 1% – I’ll just speak for myself, But Obama nearly killed my Industry with stupid regulations! Trump cleared some up and we became Oil and gas independent for the first time in my lifetime!

      • Krishna says:

        Thanks….

Iran deal needed to be enforced. Was it?

China deal is a trade war. We should put a stop to the stealing of intellectual property and unfair trade practices. Has that happened?

Please, a self admitted pushy grabber. You are correct, no assaults while at the WH, as far as we know. He’s paid millions in hush money or what are they called, non-disclosure agreements.

Enforce existing laws. I wonder how many illegal aliens work in your industry and for sure many others. A wall won’t prevent that.

Travel bans, false equivalence of neo-Nazi protesters as “good people” on both sides, the list is endless.

I don’t believe anything Barr has to say and the thousands of attorneys past and present completely disagree with you.

Self-interest group in oil and gas. I have never heard any of these companies scratching for profit. Are you serious man? Next to pharmaceuticals, no one else comes close.

We could go on and on. Sorry I said anything.

    • bailbondmike says:

tear up treaties and agreements without replacing them

He made a new trade deal with China. I guess that don’t count.

      replace boarder fences
      ————————————-
I’m glad he did that. Thank you Mr. President

      fuck up an economy
      ———————————–
The economy was great until Biden’s Chinese friends fucked up the world.

      assault women
      ———————————–
When has he done this since being president or in the last 15 yrs for that matter. Did I miss something? Biden has done it more recently while being VP.

promoted and all flames of divisiveness
      ———————————–
I put that on the media and social media

Cardinals/Brewers games postponed. UGH!! This doesn’t bother me in itself so much as what it likely means for an NFL season does.

NBA and NHL bubbled up, currently %0 COVID. They are just starting, so we’ll see what happens after a week or two. But MLB didn’t bubble up, and they are the league that is having trouble. NFL isn’t bubbling up…

Oh, and the Pets now have 7 players opting out…no other team has more than 2.

He’s bent over backwards (or forwards maybe) to not alienate them!

    • wyoming85 says:

I think he’s riding a very fine line, of not alienating the far left, and keeping the center Dems on board!

      • stangerx says:

Agree except would say the ones he wants on board are the moderate independents. If he doesn’t have the center Dems he’s done.
