Dolphins news, roster moves

After drafting Safety Jevon Holland with the 36th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, that may have just sealed Bobby McCain’s fate as a Miami Dolphins player. Good Ole Bobby McCain spent the last 6 years with the Dolphins as a defensive back playing CB outside, quite a bit inside in the slot, and both safety spots, FS and SS. I always liked Bobby McCain but he doesn’t fir the Flores prototype, at 5’11, which I believe may be generous. I always defended him here, he played with a bad shoulder and always gave his all, so I appreciate what he did on the field for our team, even it wasn’t always top notch play.

After releasing Bobby McCain, Brian Flores plucked another familiar face off the FA scrapheap in former Patriots S Jason McCourty. McCourty will be 34 years old at the start of the 2021 season, so I’m not sure how much playing time he will get, but he’s a consummate professional who knows how to play the game, and his position. Jevon Holland can learn much from his professionalism and pick his brain so to speak. McCourty is a 12 year veteran who played 8 years with the Tennessee Titans who drafted him in the 6th RD of the 2009 Draft. He then played 1 season with the Cleveland Browns and the last 3 with the New England Patriots.

Wait, what!? Tim Tebow is coming back to play in the NFL? Hasn’t played a down in the NFL since 2012 and he gets a contract from Urban Lyar? WTF?!

    • D's avatar D says:

He worked out for them, not like he walked in and said gimme a contract and they just gave it to him. They guy is as fit as he ever was, and if he is a tenth the athlete he use to be, he is better than most players signing for what he will be. This isn’t a big contract with tons of guarantees, its a league minimum non-guaranteed, what’s the risk?

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

He’s also 33. Seems a promotion for both him and the team . He exploded attendance in some minor league baseball at one point.

      • Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

You must be a fan. He is 33 YO and played TE for one (half) a season. There are much better TE Sitting at home waiting on a call. He got this shot because of Urban Lyar, no other reason. I never understood the Tebow love. He sucked as an NFL QB

      • D's avatar D says:

Maybe, but he may still be a viable player too. You could also look at it as 33 with a lot less tread on the tires. I wouldn’t bet against him that’s for sure.

Hunter Long LED the entire nation in catches.
Hunter came in second in total yards
that was enough to get the FIns attention, and they drafted him

ill take a wild guess that the ones not impressed, are not a threat to Griers career either, lol

but for the ones that would have been impressed with the last place TE in the nation, he is likely still available,
but nobody knows his name, they arent very impressed with the last place guy for some strange reason, i guess the Dolphins are stuck with the nations leader, arghhhh thats awful?!
    ———————-
Stats don’t mean much in the college game, David. I could rattle off the all-time leaders in college stats, and many wouldn’t even know their names or what college they attended. There is this thing called <b<game tape, and it Trumps everything else.

But speaking of stats, here’s a fun little fact: in the weak-ass ACC, Hunter Long only ever went over 100 yards receiving ONCE in 26 games. What’s more, he’s never scored more than 1 TD in a game, over 26 games.

Long hasn’t the speed, the leaping ability, the hands, nor the skills of Mike Gesicki… and it’s not even close, to be honest.

Gesicki was the 1st TE off the board (R2P10) in the 2018 Draft.
Long was the 3rd TE off the board (R3P17) in the 2021 Draft.

That’s why I said Durham Smythe (or possibly Adam Shaheen) might be in trouble, but certainly not Gesicki. And I’m STILL not impressed by Hunter Long in the 3rd round, as we failed to land a Center or a RB on Day 2 of the Draft.

    For 2020 it was:
    Niners – 3.8……..6-10
    Minny – 3.7……..7-9
    Lions – 3.6…….5-11
    Saints – 3.4……..12-4
    Jets – 3.4……..2-14

You are obviously a hater too. Its ok that’s kind of how it goes, ya either love the guy or hate him, but i dont think you can count him out as a publicity stunt until you have seen him play. If they worked him out and gave him a contract and he looks awful, then you can call it like that, but i don’t see how you can when you haven’t seen anything of him on the field. Maybe he has been training at the position while he has been away. Im not saying that i know he is going to tear it up out there, but i certainly don’t see why people are quick to poop on it…

    • Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

I don’t hate Tim Tebow. I just always thought he was going to be a bust in the NFL. Turns out I was right before….

Let’s see now. Hasn’t played the position. Has been out of the league 9 years. Went out for ONE pass as a TE in the NFL and dropped it.

Yep, you are right of course. There is no way I can predict the future based upon the past. It must just be me being a hater. LOL

  6. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Nice stat MF13. Kyle pitts only went over 100 yards 4 times in 24 games.
You know how many times Gesicki did it?
    ZERO
The most yards in a game he ever had in college was 89 yards. (in 45 games)

    • Marinofan13's avatar Marinofan13 says:

Thus, the TAPE is what reigns supreme. That’s why I told David that stats don’t matter much in college football.

  7. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

OD and I went to the stadium to watch the Phins take on the Broncos when Tebow was their QB. It was surreal. At the bottom of the ramp as we walked up was a band playing Florida fight songs (in colors). Stadium was half filled with people in Tebow jerseys. Some Broncos and some Florida.

Phins lost in OT after a big Tebow comeback….. so the Tebow folks were happy. But man does that guy have a cult following.

Looked up and that was in 2011….. does time ever fly.

  8. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Now to be clear MF13, I am not advocating for Gesicki to be replaced with Long or saying that Long will be a better deep threat then Gesicki. He is a Dolphin now so he will get my support.

  9. Rockphin's avatar Rockphin says:

Who will be the better TE this season (any measure you want to use, except maybe jersey sales) Tim Tebow or Hunter Long?

    My bet is Long

    $100.00 any takers?

  10. Marinofan13's avatar Marinofan13 says:

Game tape > interviews > level of competition faced (esp Bowl games, Senior Bowl week, and individual match-ups) > Combine/ProDays > stats

This is how I evaluate. Unfortunately, we aren’t privy to most interviews.

  11. Ken's avatar Ken says:

Tebow at TE meh. He is a specialty gimmick player only at this point. It’s not to say he won’t catch a few passes or create some mismatches especially in goal line situations but that is about his worth. Earlier in his career he should have gone to the CFL and played QB that is where his game is/was best suited for

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Only reason we are talking about Tebow now is cause he is Tebow. Even if he makes the team how many TEs are better?

  12. Marinofan13's avatar Marinofan13 says:

I’m very happy for Tim Tebow. No, I don’t think he’s going to amount to much in Jacksonville, but he sure as heck is going to pack the stands. It’s all about the $$$ with Khan.

    • Marinofan13's avatar Marinofan13 says:

Not to mention, it’s all about the $$$ with all of these billionaire owners. But Tebow back in Florida WILL sell.

  13. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Tim Tebow coming back to the league at 33 years old is kind of ridiculous

If he would have come to the league and played FB and TE after UF, that would have been believable but still a bit of a transition

But singing a 33 year old who has to learn the position is kind of gimmicky for my taste

I wouldn’t be happy about it if I was a Jaguars fan and this was the way my team pursued building a contender

That team is already on track to wasting Trevor Lawrence’s talent

    • D's avatar D says:

There is literally nothing for them to lose there. He’s not getting a huge contract, he isnt getting guarantees, he is getting a chance to come in and prove himself. How many players have we had the same reaction to. We wouldn’t have been happy if we signed them and paid big money or long term contracts to, but since it wasn’t, it was fine because it was a low to no risk At this point you have to ask yourself why are you opposed to it, i mean even if your a Jacksonville Jag, where is the downside?

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

If there’s nothing to lose – sign me or any shmuck. We don’t need guarantees or a huge contract either….lol

Singing a guy that’s been out of football for more than a decade isnt serious football

They are going to enter camp wit 80-90 players who need to make an impression to make the final 53. At a minimum, he is taking away an opportunity from some one who has a chance to compete for that final 53 or make an impression

Tebow wasn’t in college last year
he wasn’t in Canadian football last year.
        He was on tv.

There’s plenty of athletes with potential than him to make a roster

This is just a ratings gimmick

The downside of a team using their football operations for marketing rather than making their team better on the field are obvious. Remember the orange carpet here in Miami. It’s just silly stuff that’s not about football.

Umm… Hunter Long is NOT a seam-stretcher. And that’s why I graded our Phins’ Draft class as a B+, instead of the A- given above.

      • Marinofan13's avatar Marinofan13 says:

Hunter Long runs a 4.71, whereas Mike Gesicki runs a 4.54. I’m sorry, but that’s night vs day!

    MG: 4.47 40-low, 22 BP reps, 41.5″ VJ, 4.10 Shuttle, 6.76 3-Cone
    HL: 4.65 40-low, N/A BP reps, 32.5″ VJ, 4.42 Shuttle, 7.41 3-Cone

  18. The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

Long is a pretty good receiver. I don’t think he’s in Gesicki’s category but he has potential to be productive in this offense

i’m not too concerned about the qb situation and i really hope tua does well, i think this fo covered there asses getting brisett to fall back on just in case.

  24. ocalarob's avatar ocalarob says:

the big question for me is, can tua hit waddle or fuller deep, make a deep threat to open running lanes, his long game last year wasn’t very good and the only way to compliment the additions to this team will depend on that deep threat.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Sometimes the combo of hitting a deep one once in a while and having fast receivers is enough to keep the D honest, that’s really all we need.

Waddle and Fuller getting open deep earlier in the route could also help, so Tua doesn’t have to throw it too far.

Cover 1, motion Waddle out wide, with Fuller on the other side, then run option.

Many ways to soften the D

  25. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Tua doesn’t have the biggest arm, but he does have cajones unlike one RT, so he does know how to work the D

  27. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

The more I read about McCourtey, the more it sounds like he’ll be a good addition.

His versatility is likely why Flores picked him up.

We’ve talked about how are teams going to cover all of our receivers. I think our D can.

McCourty has logged 137 regular-season stats in 166 games. He has 18 career interceptions, 106 passes defensed, nine forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries in his career. McCourty drew quick praise from Patriots coach Bill Belichick during his first season in New England.

“He plays multiple spots on the defense, so he really has moved around more than any other player in our secondary over the 10 games we’ve played,” Belichick said, via USA Today. “But even at corner, he’s played inside, he’s played outside unlike really any other player we have. He played safety.

He’s a smart guy, he’s a versatile player. He’s shown a lot of versatility considering he missed in the spring. From training camp on, he’s done a lot of good things for us. He’s been very dependable and tough and durable and played multiple positions for kind of the newest player in the secondary. … He’s had a lot of responsibility that kind of [Pat] Chung or [Devin] McCourty have had. At corner, he’s kind of taken the brunt of that”.

  28. sb7mvp's avatar sb7mvp says:

More important to our success than our offensive players is the situation that we have at OC. Passing on a top running back in the draft with faith in our current roster won’t mean a whole lot if the tandem that they have running our offense don’t use our players better than they were last year. Rarely did we run the ball twice in a row and there weren’t many times where it was down and distance that dictated that. We just chose not to do so.
Our game plans were often baffling and there were plenty of games where we didn’t change it until it was too late. You could tell Gailey was just going through the motions in most games and he really just seemed to brainfart during important situational times. I’m interested in seeing how this offense will operate and how the two guys are handling/dividing the duties, but more importantly, will it be successful? It’s not going to matter who we passed on and who we drafted if these guys aren’t going to be good at their jobs.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

I’d think having Co OCs would be the ultimate motivation.

With 2 guys it means they won’t be pulling a Gailey and slacking off, they’ll be competing with each other week to week, not directly, but in the back of their mind how can they be comfortable?

  29. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

We keep hearing Fins will only go as far as Tua takes them, but think we only go as far as the team takes Tua.

Meaning Tua isn’t going to carry the team, but the team could carry him.

Tua needs to be a glorified game manager, more than the game manager he was last year.

Last year he was mostly a game manager, took the team on his back a few times, then just played not to lose.

Isn’t the idea behind giving him Waddle, Fuller, Eichenberg, Long, Brown and Doaks to put him in a position to succeed (and to make sure he’s right for the job)?

Our O was recently ranked 23rd. I mean gimme a break already, with the can Tua take the next step.

He can be the same player he was last year and still get us to the playoffs, we know he can game manage most weeks with our D.

To win in the playoffs he’ll need to have taken the next step.

Don’t believe the negative hype, we’re loaded and ready for a playoff run

  30. New Age's avatar New Age says:

Steve, I agree that we should be far better just because it will be very hard to cover our speed. I really think the differences for Tua will be night and day. Healthier, more practice, and guys that can separate. He might be able to use the ‘it’s easier than I thought’ line again. I hope so.

On the McCourty signing, I’m not a fan. He’s 34. It’s ridiculous to think he will be good at CB. You need the speed and agility of youth. I think he’ll be a solid safety but they brag about his versatility. I’ll be very surprised if he can handle slot receivers this year. He’s short snd light so he isn’t winning against TEs either. Maybe I’m proven wrong but he’s OLD for a DB ‘with versatility’. He’s fine for a smaller safety. It’s a young mans game.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Good think we’ve also have Holland, Coleman, and Needham to play in the slot.

Between these 4 and maybe Iggy, think we’ll be much better covering slot WRs

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Just based on new acquisitions on O Tua should be much better, add in fully healed and a full offseason no reason he can’t be closer to what he was in Bama, since he’ll have help

  31. New Age's avatar New Age says:

Good points Steve even tho I doubt Needham sticks.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

If Needham doesn’t stick what does that say about Iggy? He started at slot over the rook.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Don’t think he sticks either, at least that’s what I’m hoping, because it means the projected upgrades are actually seen or practicing as upgrades

  32. stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Vegas has our over/under at 9 wins, which is actually pretty good. But what I don’t get is why it didn’t change when the 17th game was announced. Opened at 9 and still there. Gotta figure the Giants game is good for say a projected .7 wins or something. Not like our draft didn’t offer immediate help.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

That’s not how gambling odds work.

Some “expert” comes up with a number of wins for each team, with the goal being equal amount bet on each side.

The line or odds change based on how much is bet on a side, if it gets too far out of whack, then they may adjust the games to win.

We may be at 9 wins, but what is the line at 9? Over -200? Being a large minus number means more money bet on that side

      • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

Thanks. Was never sure about how the bet odds part of it worked before (even if get the you lay this you get that part). But even what you explained leaves me shiot out of luck. There is some metric to say that money odds of this or that mean a win more or a win less…… but that math is beyond me.

  33. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Probably not a lot of money bet on this yet

    Dolphins win totals
    9 wins (-122 over)/(+100 under)

While the saga is far from over, the Dolphins at one point this offseason looked like they were going to land Deshaun Watson. However, they roll into 2021 with Tua Tagovailoa as their guy, putting a cap on the talented Dolphins’ projected win total.

  34. steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

It’s gambling and perception and not reality.

These are moneyball types of people that set these odds.

They use lots of statistics, history and surveys.

They don’t care, if they’ve set you up for an easy win, just their bottom line, that’s where the Sharks come into play

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

They just want the money bet on each side even and get their 5%. So they are looking at how the bettors will bet rather than what happens on the field. But the bettors ain’t that stupid….. what Vegas puts out is at least closer than the talking head football guys do.

I posted a couple of videos here several years ago, tracking Colt Brennan’s comeback in one of the other leagues (XFL? Arena League?). After they performed a scan on his brain, he was told that one more hit to his head could possibly have life-altering consequences.

The team cut him for that very reason, not wanting to be liable for Colt’s health. That’s when Colt finally hung it up. I don’t know if it ever deteriorated into CTE, but his brain was at severe risk.

  43. Marinofan13's avatar Marinofan13 says:

Rough stretch for me, this last week and half. Lost my man and mentor Shock G last week, lost Colt Brennan today (y’all know how much I liked him with my connect to Hawaii and Davone), and I’ve been sick since Sunday.

Took a COVID test today (that wasn’t fun) and I’ll get the results back in 24-48 hours. I’ve got all the symptoms but for loss of taste/smell and a fever. We’ll see how it goes. I’ll whoop it’s ass, one way or another.

    • stangerx's avatar stangerx says:

That sucks M13. If helps any, the loss of taste and smell are the guaranteed symptoms. Hopefully is something else.

  44. New Age's avatar New Age says:

Honestly, the only times I see success is when they move far away to rehab and they don’t come back…or prison and they lack access(are to find). Good rehab really takes about 2 years but that’s an eternity for just about anyone and it’s hard to find long term facilities, especially after COVID. Five months can work but most people go back to old habits, friends, and problems.

    • Marinofan13's avatar Marinofan13 says:

I’d a friend who went to dozens of rehabs, stayed for the standard month, came back home, and just kept going back to the BS. Finally, he took the advice of several… don’t come back to where you keep picking it back up again.

It’s been about 6 years and according to his mother, he’s doing great: he lives about 3 hours away from home. That makes me happy that he’s finally clean! Yet, I’ve not seen him in 6 years now… makes me sad.

Bottom line being, you are quite correct, New Age.

  49. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

He has kind of a choppy running style similar to Ajayi. From what I’ve seen of him he seems to have a good feel for the game and displays very good hands. He always looks to move forward which is a trait I like in RBs as opposed to guys who dance around too much. He’s not overly quick or fast but he’s not slow.

I think he has a good chance to make the team as the backup to Brown as the bigger back. The way it looks now and I know many of you are not happy with the RB position at this time, Gaskin and Ahmed are the quicker more elusive backs who actually run more physical than they probably get credit for, then Brown and Docks as the bigger more physical backs. Both are good in pass pro.

The speed we added at WR with Fuller and Waddle should open up our offense and back off 8 in the box. Gesicki adds to that at TE and Parker has solid speed as well. This 11 Personnel with whoever at RB is a formidable group.

The key is we need to block it and Tua makes the throws. The offense has the potential to get to another level this year.

I’m still interested to see if Eichenberg or Jackson play RT. Both have been mostly LT but either could switch sides. Jackson is still very young and is the better athlete, Eichenberg enters the NFL with more college game experience than Jackson did, and is considered the better technician. It sounds like Kindley and Hunt will be the guards. There are 4 Centers on the roster with Skura and Deiter at the top. Davis and Fluker are quality game day backups at G/T.

Steve, if the Avalanche win both their games, I believe they take the division on the tie breaker. I’m not sure if Id rather play them or your guys. Both teams at our lunch this year.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Correct and that’s BS, the tie breaker was changed, it used to be reg/OT wins as the first tie breaker, now it’s just regulation wins.

So a team that loses in OT or shootout benefits by getting the extra pt, then OT loses don’t count against them in the tie breaker.

What numbnuts thought that was a great idea?

  51. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

So how does the runner starting on 2nd for extra innings work in regards to pitching stats? I assume if that run scores, it doesn’t increase the pitcher’s ERA.

And is this just the way baseball works now or will they take that away next year? I hope they don’t keep it. It’s pretty stupid you can lose a game on just one single in an inning.

    • Mike E.'s avatar Mike E. says:

I guess it will be considered like a reliever with inherited baserunners.

      • D's avatar D says:

Ok so i “researched it” which is advice you should take, because its not the full electric that can act as a generator, it was a hybrid, which this makes sense since its using GAS to supply power when then gets converted to electricity. Electric only wouldn’t be able to supply electricity as it need what its producing so its a net loss scenario, meaning it would run out of juice and then stop supplying it.

  59. CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

Steve, I’d absolutely like to see those 18+ inning games. Last night’s game against the Brewers was one of those great low scoring pitchers duels that becomes a battle of team wills as the innings start piling up. But now, suddenly in extra innings the format of the game changes and picking up runs is cheap. I prefer those long running games every so often.

That’s baseball, and managing those resources is part of what makes it fun- knowing your team is screwed the next few days as you bring in tomorrows starter in inning 19 because you’re out of relievers, lol.

I’m hoping this is still just a covid thing to keep games shorter, but is not the way baseball will operate next year forward.

    • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

One of the greatest switches in baseball is bringing in the infielder who pitched in high school to pitch in the 23rd inning because you have run through your entire bullpen. That’s the good stuff, lol.

    • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Might work for you as a fan, but sure the players don’t like 18 inning games, the season is long enough

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

I’d bet some players like it and some don’t, just like fans. Baseball players are often far more into tradition and keeping the game pure than players of other sports are.

      • CavalierKong's avatar CavalierKong says:

As a matter a fact, I guarantee a lot of players hate the new rules. What often happens in those 18 inning games, is the regular players get the next day off, and a bunch of utility players get an opportunity to play the next game.

      • steveccnv's avatar steveccnv says:

Maybe in the 70s that was true, but young people in this country don’t give a shit about tradition, schools are responsible

Well, I would agree that some of the youngsters don’t appreciate tradition or the unwritten rules, but baseball players are funny with their traditions and superstitions, even a lot of today’s players. It’s woven into the fabric of the game.

it looks ok in the front, lol

I cant believe they got a permit for that, lol maybe they got a permit for the entire house restoration, and its either not finished, or somebody screwed up

      • The Flying Pig's avatar The Flying Pig says:

I’m pretty sure permits are as foreign as consistency on that house

      • David Collins's avatar David Collins says:

if they didnt pull a permit, they are in deep chit, lol the county will fine them daily for that atrocity

      • David Collins's avatar David Collins says:

ill bet a dollar there is a very interesting story behind that house, lol
too bad we only have the photo

        crazy stuff

in little haiti and other impoverished sections of Miami, the houses are worth next to nothing, but the land is premium, because its some of the highest elevation in Miami dade county

Miami Beach will be a fish attractor soon

MF, lived in FL all my life, i dont need anyone to tell me the seas are rising, i can see it myself, as well as the other FL residents can too

i fished sebastian inlet for 40 years, had my favorite rock picked out next to the water level
i cant fish it anymore, the rock is underwater now

there are many factors making the sea rise, along with ice melting, the gulf stream is also slowing down, and excess water has to go somewhere, it piles up on the beaches and breaches the dunes and sea walls, flooding out commercial and residential districts

  92. Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

David, where my in-laws lived (they have both passed), every time we went there we saw tractors trying to push sand at the surf to slow it down. But we’re not stopping the ocean from eventually being right at the door step of the residential structures. I think LBI in NJ is going to have the same problem. Hurricane Sandy already changed the landscape.

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

      Meant to say in Jupiter.

    • David Collins's avatar David Collins says:

yes, FL is especially problematic because it sits on sand and silt, on top of porous limestone, at low elevations
the cities and counties in FL are erecting higher sea walls and roads, but now FL has a thing called sunny day flooding,
the saltwater leaches up through limerock, and up through drains , and floods out everything, even though there was no rain

FL did not have this problem 20 years ago, and just like Sandy changed the landscape up north, Irma did the same down here
FL is ground zero on sea level rise, we are screwed, lol

Floridians better hang onto high elevation property, and dump the oceanfronts before they topple into the surf, seen some of that too

      • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

Humans think they can build anywhere because of the beauty. But when the oceans, wildfires, mudslides and earthquakes compromise it, people seem surprised.

  93. David Collins's avatar David Collins says:

LBI is a barrier island, and FL has tons of those also that will be suffering from rising seas , higher tides, and stronger storms

i had a condo in Melbourne beach that was flattened to the ground by Hurricane Francis, and it was about a half mile from the beach. it was mandatory evac, so we moved everything to orlando before the storm hit
We had to rent a Uhaul truck, and pack everything we wanted to keep, in 8 hours, that sucked SMH

but the entire barrier island went underwater for Francis, nobody was spared

it pounded Brevard and indian river county beaches for 3 days before it moved on

we came back to our home, and it was in millions of pieces, most of it in the retention pond, and the ground was solid pink from all the homes attic insulation

    • Tim Knight's avatar Tim Knight says:

You know Jupiter Island where wealthy people live with the ocean on one side and the intracoastal and canal on the other side? That will be gone someday.

      • David Collins's avatar David Collins says:

yes, i know that area, multi million dollar homes, and huge condos and hotels

Our opening slate of teams is also the toughest stretch of the season…
    at NE
    v Bills
AT Las Vegas (west coast trip)
    v Indy
    at Tampa Bay

THEN a trip to London (regardless how bad Jax might be) without a bye before or after …

    finish vs NE.

one Thurs game, one monday night, no Sunday night. Feels like our division games were set in a template from last year and then they worked around that.
