Is the he kind of stuff republicans come up with when they aren’t raiding the capitol and threatening civil war? 😛

    Another stupid comment.

  2. bailbondmike says:

And I got a page turn on that bitches!

  3. bailbondmike says:

The current state of affairs is so fucked up. Admit it. We went from the arrogant orange man to one who is a puppet. We are such a laughing stock to the world. We have no respect from the world. EU is like WTF. China is like HELL YEAH!!!

The sheep (Biden administration and followers) are asleep while China takes over the world.

  4. Tim Knight says:

I came across this and found it interesting. It’s not about loving the man, but 20 years ago nobody was bringing up white supremacy. But 20 years ago it was still about exposing the corruption of big government so when that happened again in 2015 it had to get snuffed out.

What do you think would happen if someone like that tried to call it out once again?

  5. Mike E. says:

I think one of the most important aspects of the Presidential election is would anyone have voted for Biden on his own merits if he wasn’t facing the pariah Donald Trump? This question is only directed here to those who voted for him. I suppose the answer would be YES because y’all just vote party anyway, but this guy is just basically a “nice old man” who has lied time and time again, can’t string together more than 2 sentences even while reading a teleprompter. If he’s what you think of when you think President of the United States, you might need to reevaluate yourself. lol

  6. ocalarob says:

Right in the middle of football season! REALLY?

  7. ocalarob says:

We are 1 deshaun watson away from being a contender, without him my original record prediction stands at 8-9 or worse.

  8. ocalarob says:

glazer reports the texans have softened their demands on trading watson, not sure why they would do that at this point, sure the deadline is coming up however at this point what’s the difference in trading him now or in march?

  9. ocalarob says:

last i checked we were favored by 1 point against the colts.

  10. ocalarob says:

Dave Hyde says, it’s pretty clear this front office made a huge mistake taking Tua over Herbert.

the skies are clearing, the fog is lifting

  11. sb7mvp says:

They trade for Deshaun and it will be really hard for me to root for this team. It’ll be worse than when Marino was here. lol

  12. ocalarob says:

the problem with this team is they are candy asses, they don’t enforce their will. they suck running the ball and they suck trying to stop the run. they are pussified in the trenches.

the last time we enforced our will was with Jay Ajayi and where did that get us, Playoffs.

it’s so easy and they can’t figure it out, you draft guys that will move guys in the run game on the OL, you draft a RB that has enormous power, you make teams stop your running game, the rest will take care of itself.
you don’t throw your resources at skilled players, you throw them at the trenches and the running game, then you sprinkle in the skilled players.
finding guys that can run fast and catch the ball are a dime a dozen, finding guys that are 300+ fast twitch and nasty are very few and far between.

  13. wyoming85 says:

My life story in a nut shell!

  14. ocalarob says:

I have a friend who has a criminal record of trafficking in cocaine, problem is he never did that, the county of broward put that on his record by mistake back in the 90’s and he was unaware of it, he had been turned down for jobs due to a background ck.
He has tried to remove it and the county refuses that.
I told him to do a fingerprint ck, anything he was ever convicted of will come up, if he was not the person who was convicted of cocaine trafficking then they don’t have his finferprints on file for that charge and that would be proof of the mistake.
my question is, since he was denied work based on that and he proves them wrong does he have a lawsuit against the county?

    i would think so.

    • The Flying Pig says:

      Yes probably

But he really should speak to a local lawyer
That kind of thing is a big time lawsuit, especially if it made its way on to databases and still causes him harm

But he better get moving bc there statutes of limitations to be concerned about

    • stangerx says:

He can at least get it removed from the county records and places they report to. Might take a lawyer though. County might not react until one is involved with a threatened legal action. But even if that works problem is it might be “out there” on private databases that have pulled the record from gov records.

Not sure about trying to get money out of the county. Possible but there could be legal protections against such involved. Like Pig said — would need to talk to a lawyer about both.

I would like to see a moderate republican party someday. I don’t mind conservative fiscal views but their views on social issues are outdated and it’s not going back to the days of “Leave it to Beaver”.

I agree with outdated, and think it’s a big mistake not to get with the times

On one side you a party like Tim said, that refuses to deal with issues that people want addressed and on the other we have a party that tells you they care about social issues, but they only do to satisfy their need and greed

Here’s an analogy for what they’re doing

When I was in LA I worked in my dad’s business in a not so nice part of town. At night they’d spray paint gang signs on the side of the building, then the next morning knock on the door asking us to pay them to remove what they had done the night before

  16. steveccnv says:

We’re evaluating Tua behind an OL, that doesn’t have it together yet, not really smart

With Tua it always comes back to accurac

We saw on the safety what Brissett’s lack of accuracy leads to

With Watson he makes the dazzling play, but doesn’t make the average ones consistent enough, so he may beat a Buffalo once in a while, but lose to Jax, kind of sounds like Fitz

  17. New Age says:

I don’t want Watson but he did have an exceptional year last year. I thought he may have milked garbage time but he really carried that team a few times against good competition. I think he’s a scumbag but he is very talented.

It’s hard to evaluate Tua but playing behind a terrible OL ruins a lot of prospects. I hope he won’t be one of them.

  18. bailbondmike says:

I need to get off this Hornitas tequila kick. I feel like a bag of shit. Smoked 2 racks of baby backs, a fryer chicken and chicken wings and didn’t even eat last night. I don’t even remember posting at midnight. lol

  19. The Flying Pig says:

  20. Ken says:

With our current OL if we get Watson he will not only be in prison but he will be in the prison hospital. Might bring new meaning to the phrase jailbreak though.

  21. stangerx says:

Sunday’s game isn’t getting much coverage nationally, but looks like all of Florida will get except the Tampa area.

    • The Flying Pig says:

The colts are really a big ticket team

      • stangerx says:

They came in 2nd for the Fest game. Would have worked.

Just checked out the tix prices on stubhub and what amazed me was the parking pass prices for both that game and the Falcons have skyrocketed. Like $98 for yellow across the street. Guess I wasn’t the only one shocked by the new parking system. Glad I got my orange passes for like $55 before that.

      • stangerx says:

Sorry $98 for orange inside and $78 for yellow (those used to be like $40).

  22. mf13ss says:

  23. Rockphin says:

They don’t care but I am heart attack serious. That will be the last move they make with me as a fan. I will quit everything NFL if this front office is stupid enough to trade for that POS.

    • stangerx says:

I’d take him….. but only at the right price.

    • Rockphin says:

I don’t care if Grier gets a “steal” for only 1st round pick. It will show he is incompetent more than he already has. The only thing that would bring me back to the team at that point would be a full tear down including scouting department WITH Grier’s head mounted on a spike outside the training complex.

      • stangerx says:

Is it the massage stuff or do you just not like Watson as a player? Cause I’d take him for a 1st in a second.

      • bailbondmike says:

Rock, I know some people. I’ll have them on standby so we don’t lose you.

      • Rockphin says:

Both, I think it would be proof that he can’t run a team, wasting multiple draft picks on throw away QB’s (2nd & 4th for Rosen which is evidence enough IMO) plus a throw away top 5 pick on Tua, plus what ever he give up for the human piece of excrement called Watson.

Watson the player isn’t as good as they make out to be. Watson the human is a piece of shit and should not be on any team.

  24. bailbondmike says:

I’m ok with it if the 1st round picks are ones we already used. Tua, Jackson and Iggy.

  25. Rockphin says:

BBM, I know people too. Mine have avoided arrest / bond (LOL) but fandom of a team that has worn me down over 20 years is not worth the possible repercussions. 😉

  26. bailbondmike says:

    Deiter missed practice today.

  27. Rockphin says:

I wish to never read Watson’s name on this board ever again. (like all my wishes I know this one will not come true either)

    • stangerx says:

You feel real strongly about him. How you do. Only way you don’t read his name again is if he gets traded to another team. Think that is real clear by now.

  28. Mike E. says:

Rock – with ya on Watson. Would love for him to be taken off the market either because he’s convicted or just punished by the NFL. Real tired of the trade talk

  29. Rockphin says:

I am THIS “_” close to changing my Avi to the mushroom cloud, even expecting an AFC win this Sunday. Just the continued rumor of “he who’s name shall not be spoken” is enough to make me want to change it.

  30. CavalierKong says:

I sometimes think we’re cursed. We’ll probably trade for Watson, and his legal situation will explode, then Tua will become some great QB the second he gets to Washington or wherever.

  31. Rockphin says:

Miami Dolphins were best in the league at third-down defense. Now they’re last.

Of course they were / are!!

  32. Ken says:

    bailbondmike says:

    Deiter missed practice today.
    ———————-
I think he missed the lady 2 games also

  33. Rockphin says:

And this is most troublesome: They’re allowing opponents to convert 59 percent on third down (worst in the league defensively) after permitting only a 31.2 third-down conversion rate last season (best in the league defensively).

    • Ken says:

Lack of consistent pass rush seems to be most noticeable difference

      • Rockphin says:

we didn’t have consistent pass rush last season either. I’m not sure what it is, but it seems like whenever the other team needs to make a play someone on our team takes a turn giving it to them.

      • Ken says:

We were getting more pressure last season. We had something 45 sacks last year this year we have 5 through 3 games

      • CavalierKong says:

We’re 2nd in the league in QB hits, we just can’t get home. Whether that is coverage not holding long enough or because we can’t generate pressure with just 4…we’re hitting the QB.

  34. Rockphin says:

Fox lead NFL analyst Troy Aikman’s complex NFL efficiency rating formula ranks the Dolphins as the worst team in football through three games. Aikman does the efficiency ratings for the 33rd Team, a think tank founded by former Dolphins executive Mike Tannenbaum.

I think the Watson talk is just more BS. Until we fix the OL it doesn’t who the QB is

  36. steveccnv says:

You guys are killin me mentioning the guy Rock wished wouldn’t be mentioned

    • Rockphin says:

LOL no worries. I said right in the post that my wishes don’t come true!

At this point I kind of expect every post to have a random *Watson* thrown in just to bust my balls.

  37. ocalarob says:

why are all of you complaining, nobody here had us going less than 11-6, stop your bitching and own your prediction!

  38. ocalarob says:

I would go with Sinett, I doubt Brisett has done anything to lose his job, i just don’t think he’s that impressive, Sinnett may be a better option.

  40. bailbondmike says:

According to ESPN Analytics, the Dolphins rank 14th in team run block win rate, defined as the proportion of plays in which a player “won” his block on designed running plays. The ranking doesn’t place the Dolphins’ offensive line in the upper echelon of the league’s units but is a significant improvement from last season, when it ranked 23rd in run block win rate.

  41. Krishna says:

I don’t see much or any improvement in our D. If anything, the stats say we’ve regressed. I think the loss of R Davis is a big reason. CBs same as last year or better, awesome, but….left a few more plays on the field. Lol…overly critical. Schemes seem conservative, too. Against NE thought it was good strategy, not so last 2 games.

  42. Krishna says:

O has definitely regressed mainly due to OL being just fucking bad….no excuses, imo, how bad they look. Coaching, players, scheme, cluelessness. Some said Keystone Cops…..worse! Tua looked ok/better, now no one knows…geez, loueez.

Even special teams…punt or kickoff return for TD, missed Fg….guess it could be worse….lol.

  43. Krishna says:

Early in the season…..we need to get to 2-2.

    • stangerx says:

Big time. Bucs away is next. Never count a loss beforehand, but would be tough rolling into Tampa 1-3.

      • Krishna says:

Need to find some positive….I would be ok with an ugly win at this point….lol.

Although, I would think we should be able to take it to them!

  44. Krishna says:

Lol…someone mentioned coming out of their hole after Sunday’s game…..lol

  45. stangerx says:

Most COVID deaths since April 1 (ending Wednesday):
    Florida – 19,590
    Texas – 14,169
    California – 6,408
    New York – 4,930
    Pennsylvania – 4,021
    Illinois – 3,839

Not exactly a national ranking you want your state to win.

  46. Mike E. says:

Stanger – if NY is doing such a great job without requiring vaccines, how does the logic fit to do it now?

  47. Tim Knight says:

Anyone else think that not all these deaths are just Covid related, but because they tested positive for Covid it gets recorded as that’s the reason they died instead of other ailments?

    • Krishna says:

      Stop it!

    • Mike E. says:

There’s no question the numbers are inflated

    • stangerx says:

However they count the numbers…. the total count is about to get to seven hundred thousand. Say co-morbidity takes a more realistic number down to 400K, That’s still a big number to me, as many as died in WW2.

      • Tim Knight says:

Do we follow how many people die daily on a regular basis? I know I don’t. I don’t follow how many people are born daily either.

      • stangerx says:

CDC does, but then was their numbers (or at least what states have reported) is where we started. They fir sure track deaths and births in the US though.

    • herdfan says:

There’s no question. Just think of nursing home deaths. My dad was in a nursing home before he died of Alzheimer’s. If you’ve not been to a nursing home, I can tell you that a great number of people living there don’t know they are alive and are hanging by a thread. To be blunt they are going to be dying of something soon, an infection, a cold, they fall. So now they get COVID and that’s a death added to the total. But these people probably wouldn’t be alive in 6 months anyway. I’m in no way saying they aren’t important. I do think it’s completely inaccurate to say these are COVID deaths.

  48. Krishna says:

Stangerx, TK, Mike E., I think you know where I stand on this. Nothing’s really changed in that regard.

Most are protected against people like me and that should be enough. Apparently, the only ones who should be concerned our the unvaxed. Cull the herd and I’m ok with that even if I’m part of the culled. Facts.

  49. Mike E. says:

Stanger just inflated the number by 70 a minute ago, and that’s without separating gunshot wound victims as COVID-19 deaths. lol

  50. Krishna says:

    Are, not our…

  51. Tim Knight says:

Stanger, I know someone counts and follows deaths and births, I was asking if the average person does this? I’d say no but the Covid count is constantly in our faces.

  52. Krishna says:

Not sure what argument you’re referring to, Piggy. I’m not arguing, at all. Just living my life and will die by my choices. Ya’ll live yours.

Hopefully, we can get along with that.

    • The Flying Pig says:

I think enough people got upset at political talk here yesterday for me not to get involved or encourage it today so I’m not reshashing these things again

      We’ve been through before anyway

      • Mike E. says:

Ah fuck it, we can’t agree on the Dolphins so who gives a shit if someone is insulted by the political talk. If they’re still here after all these years I figure they can handle it

      • The Flying Pig says:

Honestly arguing with you guys about how wrong you all are on all things also wears me down

        😝

  53. Krishna says:

Lol…you got me at “Ah fuck it”….

  57. wyoming85 says:

I can see why these guy’s have more yards and TD’s, but less wins!

  58. Krishna says:

    Back to football!

The Dolphins need to get their shit together….top to bottom.

  59. New Age says:

Bengals starting to gain control of this one. It’s been a pretty solid year already for good games but the refs still suck and penalties still affect games too often.

  60. mf13ss says:

I don’t want to get drawn into this COVID debate, but I can’t bite my tongue any longer. The CDC had admitted on its website last year (FACT!!!) that the likes of suicides and random car accidents have been written off as COVID deaths. The same is going on in Australia right now.

The flu has suddenly vanished (WOW!), and now nearly every death is recorded as COVID.

Remember: ALWAYS trust government numbers, because the government truly cares about you and your ability to save your hard-earned money, to the tune of the IRS and the manipulative FED.

    Uber-taxation: GOOD! Orange Man: BAD!

Now we’re about to be taxed for every mile we drive? Give me a fucking break… AMERICA.

    —————-
I really hope you’re right, Hulk… I’m a true Tua fan, myself. Unfortunately, I’ve found some stats (2021, as a matter of fact) that suggest a greater QB can make the O-Line better.

I’m not sure it necessarily applies to the absolute dysfunction we’ve experienced on our O-Line, but the data is out there. And if Steve Ross sees that data… *GULP*

  63. mf13ss says:

    Walkoff FG!

  64. ocalarob says:

Do you believe this shit? He wrote a letter of support in 2016 for Trump and the Patriot Players were mad about that. Flores seem to agree with the players, such BS, Let’s put this in perspective,
“disingenuous” “It was hypocritical and out of character” “Bill just f—ed up”
(i’m angry at you because you don’t have the same political views i do)
    Leftwing facism at its finest
I’m mad at you because you have different political views than i do, how dare you!

    MIXED NUTS!
    _______________________________________________–

In 2016, after then-presidential candidate Donald Trump read a letter of support from Belichick at a campaign rally, Patriots assistant coach Brian Flores told Belichick that several players were angry and that he “needed to say something” to the team. Belichick addressed the team, but it didn’t help initially. Many players felt he was being disingenuous. “It was hypocritical and out of character. I don’t think he’s an intolerant coach. He isn’t a bad guy. Bill just f—ed up and justified it in a way that he would never accept from a player.” After the meeting, a small group of Patriots players considered boycotting practice but then reconsidered.

    • ocalarob says:

as they sit there and talk about hypocrissy why reconsider boycotting, man up and stand behind your beliefs! oh that’s right, doing that will cost them money.
look in the mirror when you say hypocrite

    • The Flying Pig says:

You should probably explain that this is from Seth Wickershams new book about belichick

It’s a pretty controversial book, there’s stuff about Brady and Belichecik splitting that a lot of people question

Those quotes are alleged to be from players not Flores
I don’t know why you left that out but it’s extremely misleading

The only thing the book says Flores did is a tell belichick to speak to players who were angry at him

It doesn’t say he took any position at all about the letter trump read from belichick

      https://sports.yahoo.com/report-patriots-considered-boycott-bill-170840952.html

There’s nothing wrong with a colleague telling their colleague that people are upset with him on his team. That’s usually what people who respect each other do.

  65. sb7mvp says:

Discussions would go a lot better if most of you would just stay on topic. You can’t talk about Trump without mentioning Obama, you can’t talk about Biden without mentioning Trump. Mask mandates somehow becomes a discussion on illegal immigration. Gun control becomes talk about abortion, abortion becomes an argument about mask mandates. It’s the thing that people who truly don’t care about the issues do to the muddy the waters. You keep trying to out hypocrite one another.
I have a hard time believing that any of you actually care about the world being better or the issues you continue to argue about. 99% of the things some of you guys rail about don’t actually affect you in any way shape or form. Your lives are good and yet you’re still miserable somehow. Take up knitting or something. lol

  66. wyoming85 says:

  67. The Flying Pig says:

  68. bailbondmike says:

Krishna, you mentioned our secondary not being quite as good. I think that weak link is Justin Coleman. It shouldn’t be the system cause he was a Pat in 15′ and 16′ and then played under Patricia in Det in 19′ and 20′. I don’t think he is quick enough to cover slot as well as Needham.

    • Mike E. says:

My guess is it won’t be like that for long, they’re just auditioning Coleman, giving him a fair chance to get the job done. They know what they have in Needham, and unfortunately, it looks like they know what they have in Iggy too, which ain’t much. That’s a disappointment right there!

  69. wyoming85 says:

  70. Rockphin says:

    113. Kenneth Walker III RB, Michigan State
    115. Micah McFadden ILB, Indiana
    155. Chase Lucas CB, Arizona State
    179. JD Spielman WR, TCU
    193. Jameson Williams WR, Alabama
    238. Chris Rodriguez Jr. RB, Kentucky
    245. Jeremiah Moon EDGE, Florida

Still on the fence on Linderbaum as our 1st pick.

    • The Flying Pig says:

If we draft a center does Deiter go back to guard?

      • bailbondmike says:

What I was thinking. I need Randy to chime in on Linderbaum as he is a little on the light side at under 300 pounds but he does face some big DL in the Big Ten and will likely be OC1 in the draft. There are a couple other good ones though.

    • Rockphin says:

from this picking order I guess they are assuming the 49rs are going to do fairly well this year. I’m hoping for them to melt down and give us much higher picks.

    • bookman11 says:

  72. bailbondmike says:

Not to bring it up more, but, should they even be fucking with these viruses? I mean the COVID virus would not infect humans until they fucked with it. Yeah, maybe in a 100 years, 1000 years it may mutate to where it could infect humans or maybe never. Deal with it then.

Hell, make a oral vaccine for the bats first. Try to eradicate it there. Mix it with a tasty solution bats will like and put it in a giant birdbath in the caves. I don’t know. Sounds crazy but try something else first.

On a positive note. After just 3 weeks, there are only 5 undefeated teams left. Two in AFC and 3 in NFC.
