Nice run blocking
This could end in a tie
Oh give them another TO 🤷♂️
Gaskins broke his ankle!
Maybe the Raiders can get 5 time outs
That was PI
Yeah a tad early to say the least
Crazy!!!! Pass interference!
And Fuller is hurt 😳
That’s 2 early contacts in OT not called!
The field has turned into a medical tent
K sanders all on you
What a game
Nice 🤜🏻🤛🏻
I’d like that call better with waddle!
We t with the All State “Good Hands “ team
https://twitter.com/theflyingpig44/status/1442272491120988163?s=21
Well, with all our flaws, this game has been pretty awesome. Used to nailbiters as Phins fan but so exhausting.
unbelievable game, lol
28-28, have to say the Dolphins made a game out of this
Atta boy Jones
That was a helluva throw and catch
Fuck!
Oh well
We could have quit but we didn’t
Brissett was gutsy but this offense still needs a lot of work
Yep yep
I was happy to see us trying to go downfield more. It opened things up
How do they have that time out
Each team gets 2 TOs in OT what happened during regulation doesn’t matter.
Then whats the point in mentioning that? They didnt get penalized. They just got 4 time outs in reg
They didn’t get a 4th time out. They had an injury the remedy is a run off except that would have penalized us
Ice then block
We had that blocked … bevermind
Damn
Still in 2nd place 🤷♂️😵💫
Would have loved to win this one but this was a great game, really exciting. Someone had to lose
I agree. We didn’t do enough but it wasn’t a shit show on the road. 1-2 with 14 games to go is not the end of the world. But geez the blocking has to get better. I don’t care who it is.
I dont understand that. Why did the refs say that due to an injury lv used a 4th time out. It would seem they would lose a time out in ot. Why bother even saying that?
If the Raiders had the ball they would have been subject to a run off on the clock
Without that last timeout they let the clock run out
It’s not the QB or the wrs or the RBs or TEs
The OL has problems
But the coaching, on offense is atrocious
We were spotted 14 points early and our offense was doing silly stuff, the peak of which being a WR screen on our own end zone
The team is a mess offensively, we had less than 100 yards going into the 4th
Contrast that to what Buffalo did to us last year up by 14
When you are up by 2 scores, the playbook should look like a buffet and these guys look like they just throw stuff out there
Yeah, I’ve been saying this since the first game.
From “no chance, it’s over”
To “omg how is this happening”
Finally “2:49 on the clock” and we are back to the top of this list.
I’m exhausted.
Well you correct in your first assumption the proof just took longer than anticipated
Austin Jackson is a legit dumpster fire.
The OL is a dumpster fire
TWO fucking guys have drawn my ire after 3 games: Austin Jackson and Justin Coleman. 😡
BENCH THEM!!! 😡
ANYBODY is better than Austin Sackson and Nik Needham is WAY better than Justin Coleman.
Let’s be honest, our LOS on offense is the weakest link. I don’t know why or have any answers but that’s the biggest issue. It jumps out every time.
LOL, agreed! See my post below, as I used the same term as you: weakest link.
Tough loss on a VERY hard-fought game. Byron Jones did an EXCELLENT job containing Waller today. Brissett damn near willed us to a win despite our horrific O-Line… which did perform much better than last week, yet STILL not good enough to win.
Good game, Brandon Jones, Christian Wilkins, and Elandon Roberts. X with a HUGE PBU, too!
We didn’t give up on our running game (YAY!), and it averaged 4.9 YPC… well done.
The weakest links in our chain broke us yet again today… damn shame.
This could have been how they were talking about us
I was so excited to see Jackson block well on the running TD and then at the end of the game he was basically backpedaling right into the QB
I don’t know if he’s raw or just no good but he’s not nfl ready right now
He’s having some good moments, but he’s consistently bad too
I swear I’m watching a repeat of Marc Colonblow, man. Only thing is, Colonblow was already washed up when we had signed him, and Sackson is in year 2 of having been a 1st round pick. SMH
On 2 Offensive Coordinators
I thought people were making a lot out of this
But sometimes it just looks like our offense is disorganized more than anything else
Like they don’t know who they are
I think we need to fire or demote one and just have 1 OC that gets everyone focused
Agreed… and no offense, but we need to cut the ‘pork’ out of things. LOL 😉
So you’re all about having one duffuss instead of two? LOL
I just think they look messy Tim
I can’t explain it but it looks really inconsistent
When you make Wilson and Williams inactive in favor of TEs and you start Malcolm brown, I think you are going to try a lot of physical running inside
And they even got spotted with 14 points
What do they do?
Naturally, they throw it on early downs
I’m not talking about late. I’m talking about early game. I just thought they would try to slow down the game with the lead and instead it was more like running an inept offense
Waddle had 12 catches for 58 yards
That’s kind of ridiculous
Agreed again, but what can we do when our O-Line allows defenders in our QB’s face within 2 seconds? We almost HAVE to throw short, that’s how poor our O-Line has become.
I don’t really have a problem with the short passes
One thing we can do is run the ball once in a while
Especially when we had a 24 yard rd run for a 14 point lead
There are some ways to slow down a pass rush: a running game, short throws, screens, misdirection, counters
There’s a lot there – I’d the deep game isn’t possible bc the ab has no time (and I think it’s there for us enough)
Work in some stuff to slow down the pass rush
and one for a safety that proved to be the difference in the game .. not on Waddle
“Wilkins all bark and no bite.” Stupidest comment of the day. He only led the team in solo tackles with six and had 7 total with 1 sack and 2 tackles for loss. SMH
i dont give a flying fuck what you think
i was CORRECT, WIlkins wasnt playing well and making plays in the second half
the team was getting beat on LONG drives, over and over while wilkins and phillips were taking that part of the game off
And also
When they got into the 2 minute drill and overtime
I know teams typically move the ball in those drills but it was sort of ridiculous the difference
If they just would have played like a team with the lead, it’s entirely a different conversation now
But it feels like I’m offense they look at each other and say “don’t blow it”
Have 1 OC that says “this is my offense and we are going to score points, I don’t care what the defense does – I want to score” instead it feels like a group commitment to being a team that relies on its defense
Or like someone said earlier , playing to not make mistakes
When you can’t play in the trenches everything looks messy. Our defense is fine, we’re asking them to do too much.
What would you say is the strength of our offense? I hear ya, same here. SMH
We are loaded with speed on offense
Absolutely loaded
But it’s a very limited offensive scheme IMO
They need to be a little more creative
Tom Brady is not your QB, you can’t just run the same
Offense New England ran with Tom Brady for a decade
I also think we got hosed by the refs in OT… I felt DeVante was interfered with, as was Fuller. Both were kind of “bang-bang” plays, but contact had clearly been initiated by the defenders both times. Instead? No flags.
Hate to say it, but the stupid play call that gave up the safety cost the game. I’m not going to put it on Sanders’ doink. That play call changed the whole momentum of the game.
Agreed
Yep! A ridiculous play call. Let’s get them back in the game type of call. That shit comes back to haunt you.
^
PIGGS , it also seemed our short passing game , everyone was standing still when the caught the ball .. was expecting a lot more , hot crossing routes
One thing they did was throw out the RPO without Tua
And our OL were really struggling with it so it’s not so bad
I don’t care what they do. So some rollouts. Throw some HB screens
We did like 4 shovel passes, and they aren’t as cute as the coaches think they are…lol
1 a game
1 shovel pass a game
Limit yourself to that
Is that so fucking hard!
Passing game looked a lot better when we started taking some more shots downfield. Some of the underneath routes were opened up a bit more

————
Absolutely. But once we started making gaffes, the game quickly went into the favor of the Raiders. We did rush the ball 27 times, but I hear ya being we ended up passing the ball 49 times in trying to come back.
We went into the game passing 66% of the time… we narrowly ran a hair more today. But early on and with a 14 point lead, we didn’t give up on the run: it was good to see until the gaffes began.
We’re just not that good right now. That can change so we’ll see.
And what are we doing with Gesicki?
Have him attack the middle of the field when a LB is matched against him
he’s always near the sideline
He should be a mismatch nightmare for defenses
He caught 10 passes today
I know but it’s all the same mind of plays
Use his to create mismatches for big plays
That’s not the problem.
Correct. Our QB literally has to get the ball out of his hand within 2 seconds, thanks to our inept O-Line.
We don’t have an offense right now. We just try to get by. That sucks!
IF WE HAD JUST AN AVERAGE NFL OFFENSIVE LINE (say 15th out of 30) we would have won today’s game. BUT WE DON’T!! Our o_Line has to be among the 3 or 4 worst in the entire NFL!!
Tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM we need to notify Grier that he has been FIRED!! The Asst. GM should be named GM until at least 3-4 or more candidates are vetted and interviewed.
NO QUARTERBACK will come to Miami knowing he’ll likely end up like Tua well before the current season is over!! Changes in the O-Line need to be made BEFORE our next game this coming Sunday!
Among all the proven losers ROSS has hired, GRIER has to be one of the WORST!! And every day Grier is STILL on the job, the situation becomes WORSE!!
HOW LONG will Steve Ross continue to ignore the obvious???
Time to walk the greyhound and call it a day.
Y’all have a great Monday.
Except Grier & Ross.
OldDolfan,
IF ya didn’t already know, PFF had us Phins rated as the WORST O-Line of 2020. Hard to imagine that we’ve become even WORSE in 2021!!!
Grier has made the unimaginable a reality, just like T-Baum before him!
Im out for the night!
Let’s all wallow in the mire shall we. lol
I missed Friday
I can’t get enough of PMJ. My fave is this, and MORGAN JAMES is the BOMB!
Scott Bradlee plays so much like Shock G on the piano. I really respect that.
Bookman, congrats on the division title. You guys earned it all season.
Cards win streak reaches 16 as we sweep our 4th straight opponent.
Longest win streak in the NL since 1951.
Longest win streak in September since 1935.
Magic number is 1 to clinch the 2nd WC.
If you have an injury during the last 2 minutes you are charged a timeout. If you have no timeouts you are given an extra timeout without penalty if on defense, or a 10 second runoff on offense, if the clock is running. There are qualifying rules to this like if the injury was because of a personal foul by the opponent, there is no charged TO.
The reason it’s announced on the field is because if it happens again, on the 5th timeout and onward, it’s a 5 yard penalty.
I figured it was a foregone conclusion we would lose this game. All I wanted was a competitive game, which is what we got. Still a tough loss to swallow though.
Our offense is a complete mess. Our oline is so bad, it’s impossible to know what is really wrong beyond that IMO. I can’t believe how bad Jackson is, smh.
I gotta say though, before the season started, after 3 games I had us at 1-2 with the wins and losses coming exactly the way they have. I just thought we’d be a better team at this point.
I had us at 2-3 after 5 with a win next week and a loss against the Bucs, so still on track, lol.
Nice to keep our turnover streak alive. We’re at 25 games straight now, only 46 games off the league record. Keep it going defense!!
https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/look-dolphins-run-the-dumbest-play-of-the-season/ar-AAOQpmt?li=BBnb7Kz
Very appropriate headline. 5 point swing on one of the sh^ttiest calls I’ve seen in a long time. Brissett made a terrible decision to throw it there, and executed the throw even worse. If he doesn’t throw it so Waddle has to jump, he may get it out of the endzone- barely.
Crazy end to the Niners game.
Thanks for the explanation on TO.. although it still don’t seem right …
And yep, some QBs cannot be left 30 secs .. to my wife’s chagrin, Rodgers is one
When the Niner fullback scored on that second effort, I looked at my wife and said that’s enough time, the Packers are happy he didn’t go down at the one.
I just re-watched our highlights, and even so, Austin Sackson sucked so poorly that it’s a miracle we were able to engineer drives to score.
I’ve not felt this way since the days of Seanathan Smith, seriously… and some folks thought it was all about a competition between he and Vontae… NO!
If ya suck, ya need to get replaced/benched.
Can’t wait to see how PFF scores Austin Sackson after his performance today. Can’t wait to see what the video scouts have to say about his performance today.
He funkin’ FLUNKED my eyeball test today, BIG TIME.
Did somebody throw a lunch tray at him in the cafeteria or something? Austin Sackson seems to be the second-coming of fellow Californian Jonathan Martin… no offense to my Cali cats/dogs.
This team stinks both sides of the ball. I really thought after last year we’d see something this year. Nope. Regressed.
Why? WTF happened ??
i agree, what happened? i expected to see something more also
Chris Sciria
@csciria
Amazing, I haven’t seen any tweets from #Dolphins fans about a defense that allowed a backup RB to rush over 100 yds, a QB throw for over 350, 2 sacks, 8 of 15 on 3rd downs and allowed almost 500 net yards of offense. It’s a team game. All sides of the ball lost this game.
—————————————————————————————————————————
the Dolphins defense SUCKED badly during that game, many fans noticed this, except a few brain dead ones in north FL
ProFootballReference
@pfref
The safety in the Dolphins-Raiders game is the first in our play-by-play database on a completed pass with no penalties or fumbles.
—————————————————————-
wow, the playcalling was so bad, it set a weird record
the Dolphins need better coaching to succeed
we knew the first 5 games were tough, game went to OT @ raiders, the other guys get paid also.
if we go 2-3 the first 5, that aint bad.
then we can make a run, Flores teams for some reason always start slow.
they have for the last 2 years.
i think the OL played better moving davis to guard & eich to LT. Jackson still struggled but i doubt it was as bad as last week.
Lol…. I have nothing to say, except these shit shows are becoming common. Two weaks in a row?
The OL is a disaster and the playcalling (Co-co’s) might be the same or worse….I keep waffling on which it is. Afterall, co-co’s are teaching/coaching OL, so there’s that.
D is just not shutting anyone down, except NE with rookie QB. Certainly, not ready for playoff caliber football, not even close.
For sure, disappointed…..
Maybe, another angry writer article?
^weeks
weak, will also work well
last weeks loss was 35-0, thats WEAK
the team is soft, and poorly conditioned
Oh yeah, Elandon Roberts is a stud!
David, which way is the wind blowing today, a month ago you had us in the super bowl.
i did not have this team in the super bowl for 2021
but i WAS hoping for a better team than what we are seeing, and thought if we were well coached and prepared, could make the playoffs
but this team is not well coached and prepared, and there wasnt a way to know that, until the bullets were live
i think the Fins should have went for it on fourth and two in OT,
the OT fg, wasnt really helpful overall
we previously got stuffed trying to pick up 1 yard in 2 downs, if we don’t make the first down we lose the game.
right call to kick the fg
the pi no call with fuller is what killed us
we also converted a fourth and twenty on that drive, and several other fourth downs
i just wanted to see better, for 5 quarters
there was plenty to disappoint in that game
we will make a run, things are not as bad as they seem, we still have a young team learning on the job.
orob, that play that Waddle got tackled for a safety, was SO STUPID,
i dont think anyone could have predicted it
i wasnt able to predict the level of stupidity, until it was revealed, lol sorry bruh!
meanwhile, Sewell is tearing it up, Herbert is lights out, and Greg Rousseau, who many criticized me for liking before the draft, already has 3 more sacks than Phillips
either we cant pick em, or cant coach em, or both
market is sucking today, because investors are worried about the senate not voting to raise the debt ceiling.
if the nation defaults, it wont be able to meet its commitments, and the citizens will suffer from it
congress sucks! they should be the first casualties of not getting paid, in case of defaulting on the debt
the nation cant pay its debt, it is resigned to paying the interest on the debt.
i wouldnt vote for anyone that puts the nation into default, they are not what the citizens need
Should have reelected Trump
David,
I have several thoughts on the debt ceiling but first want to agree that Congress should bear higher and more financial oversight. I’d start will transparency in their stock holdings and yearly mandatory financial disclosures(real ones).
Ok, dent is normally bad and we’re very debt ridden. They act like it’s Monopoly money but our debtors still expect to be paid. We are injuring the future of this nation to waste more money. That seems nearsighted and wrong.
Opposing theory is that it really is Monopoly money and there’s no punishment for increasing the debt astronomically every year. If true, why the fuck do you need to tax my real money to supposedly spend your Monopoly money ?
Which option do you like better? I like #2 honestly and think they should give the middle class the same freedom from taxes they give to the welfare class

you already did, his name is Joe Biden.
Just because the games on our schedule are tough, doesn’t mean that it’s okay we are losing them.
215 yards on 49 attempts and 169 yards on 40 attempts is just not going to cut it. That is not all on Brissett but he needs to be more aggressive getting the ball downfield, the OL needs to do a better job of giving him time and play calling needs to dramatically improve
Someone decided it would be a good idea to have the Raiders game played right before VGK preseason game 1, the stadiums are just a couple of miles apart and TMobile home of VGK is on the Vegas strip where many park for Raiders
Took a different route to the game and didn’t really get into too much traffic, but…
Quite a few Fins jerseys at the VGK game, didn’t think to wear mine
Met up with my new ticket rep and he’s new to Vegas, month and a half removed from being Stanger’s neighbor and his friend another ticket rep is from Miami
I was also pissed we kicked an FG in OT, you just can’t give it back to Carr in that situation, and even so, by kicking it you’re playing for a tie at best
WTF kind of coaching job is that?
Cav Kong,
the bad thing about long winning streaks in September (baseball) is that those teams never go far in the playoffs. No team with a win streak of 10+ in September has ever made it to the World Series, and only one has even qualified for LCS.
BUT, it’s better than being an A’s fan watching A’s sweep Astros when they already blew games against crap teams to drop out of contention. lol
and it’s better being a Reds fan when they were in the drivers seat for the WC playoff then set out and lose every series (2 of 3) for the last month until this past weekend.
Eating lunch yesterday at an Irish pub, that shows all the games
The main screen has extended bar type seating in front, couldn’t see the screen, so didn’t know who was playing, but the sad group were doing more bitching that celebrating…Giants fans
Losing to Atl, who seemed like they were trying to break our 2019 futility record has to be an all time low
I have siblings who are Giants fans, and as low as I feel sometimes about Fins, all I need is a conversation with one of them and I can regain some element of hope. lol. Giants and Jets keep getting high draft picks and can’t get to .500.
I only watched some of the game live so I didn’t get to see the comeback after we blew the lead, but went back and watched some that I missed this morning. The lack of success this year is definitely about coaching more so than it is players. We did a lot of things really well yesterday, but when it was bad, it was really bad.
Brissett holds the ball too long, even on plays where he’s actually getting protection. There are also times where he leaves the pocket way too soon and causes issues for his o-line. This isn’t to say that the o-line isn’t struggling. It is, but the coaches haven’t done anything in the form of play calling to help them out. Whether it’s use of personnel or play design, it just isn’t there.
Defense is still being left on the field too long causing them to tire out. There are times where we just don’t have the appropriate defense dialed up either. The overall theme on both sides of the ball, just seems to be inconsistency.
All this being said, I think we can pull it together. We’ve shown we can do just that 2 seasons in a row, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we did it again this year. There’s hope to be pulled from this Raiders game. The team just needs to keep working and the coaching needs to learn from their mistakes to put the guys on the field in the best positions to be successful.
I agree with you.
Sometimes it’s just messy with this team
There may be a personnel concern with the OT spot bc Jackson is so bad
But other than that I think we can play at a much higher level, but it doesn’t seem like the way they call offense is doing anyone any favors
BBM,
how ’bout them Irish!! Fins need to mimic them on how to win with a crappy O-line. lol. Defense starting to gel … a couple of true freshmen QBs who are electric when Coan gets dinged. That 4th quarter was so much fun to watch.
Not for me..LOL
Yeah, that was great! That one kid really impressed me. Coan will never be more than he is. He may end up losing the job even if healthy.
Losing the line play on both sides of the ball puts us behind the 8-ball every game, and the schedule makers seem to not do us any favors, by giving us a tough opening schedule every year
With a young team it would be nice to play the jets week 2 instead of Buffalo, then Tua would’ve played against the Raiders
Not sure what to think about the Colts, though pretty sure they’ll win the line play
They are good up front and kind of meh everywhere else
It’s a winnable game
There are a lot of ways to improve right now
I’ve been trying to figure out what I think the issue is and I think I can put a finger on one thing we can do early to get better now
Throwing out the buffalo game (I threw it out and burned the tape) I see a play calling problem in the other two games. It’s not so much bad play calls as it is tentativeness and inconsistency
In the patriots game we had a great scripted opening drive and then sputtered out until we scripted an opening second half drive
In yesterday’s game, we did a nice job of creating that big brown run early – and I assumed that was the game plan and the we sputtered out quickly. It felt like they called the game plan scared and weren’t even trying to keep the defense on its heals until the end of the game when there was no choice but to let it rip
A great offensive gameplan is usually a couple drives ahead of the defense. You call the first drive, and you are watching how the defense responds and thinking about the next drive. You execute drive 1 and drive 2 and drive 3 are on the map.
How are we doing that with 2 OCs? Just let 1 guy take the reigns. I don’t even care if they alternate games – but let one guy scheme, implement his gameplan and make adjustments in the game.
2 OCs was an unusual experiment. It flopped.
Just demote one guy (preferably whoemver idea the wr screen in the end one was) so that the OC can get to the chess game within the game without some one else telling him where to move his bishop on the next drive.
2 OCs takes from the cerebral game IMO
That tweet by Chris Sciria was bullshit. To bad the gullible buy into it and run with it to try and backup their narrative. The stats were accurate but the point he was trying to make was way off.
The Raiders had the #1 Offense in the NFL before coming into our game. The #1 offense after facing the Steelers and Ravens defenses the first 2 games.
Our defense held this #1 offense scoreless the first quarter. We were up 14-0 and our defense held them again and Raiders had to punt. Our offense, on the first play, gives up the safety and we had to kick it right back to Raiders and put our defense right back on the field. They buckle up against the #1 offense and still hold them to a FG.
Our defense held the #1 offense in the NFL to 23 points in regulation on the road. Minus the safety we win. Ravens gave up 27 points in regulation and the Steelers gave up 26 at home.
He says we gave up almost 500 total yards to the Raiders but that was playing almost 5 quarters of football. That is also with our offense giving them an 8 minute TOP advantage.
We gave up 357 passing yards in almost 5 quarters of football in 39 minutes of TOP against the #1 offense in the NFL. Oooo, our defense sucks they take plays off.
Ravens D gave up 406 passing yards in less time. Steelers D gave up 373 passing yards in just 4 quarters of regulation.
Our D held the #1 offense in the NFL to under 300 yards passing in regulation.
Our defense gave up less points and less total yards in regulation than the Steelers and Ravens defenses.
I don’t think Adam Gase even makes that stupid play call that gave up the safety. (Maybe)
Give me a fucking break! lol
100%
We left the defense on the field, they have an elite offense and the game went into OT
This is not a team we have to burn down
We have to fix the offense
Demote one of the OCs for starters
Then see if you can get a serviceable OT to play in place of the very raw Jackson who just looks horrible
And we will get Tua back for jax
And hopefully we will Score points and not play offense with the punch of a wet noodle
Brisket is not so bad that we have to play offense so cautiously
Also, we can badmouth that dumb play in the endzone for a safety, but Brissett had Shaheen wide open in front of him and it’s like he had already decided he was going to throw to Waddle before the play started even though there was a big space in the defense pre-snap.
Kong,
I’m glad your mom is doing better.
BBM, great points about our defense. They scored 7 and set up our second score. At the 34, we were guaranteed points. Take those away and our offense struggled to score 14 in 5 quarters. As you stated they slso weee on the field s long time and our offense helped give up 5 easy points. This offense is really, really bad. They don’t help the defense at all.
Piggy,
Great post about the OCs. I was thinking similar and would like Godsey just due to experience. Our coaches are learning on the job as they try to teach a very young roster. As Tim said, this youth is going to cause issues but I really wish we had more experienced coaches. The coaching overall had been bad and I hope they do like previously and start pulling out better performances in all phases.
The play calling on offense is not inspiring. But to me it presents a chicken or the egg type of thing – is the scheme and play calling designed around the o-line capabilities limiting them, or is the o-line capabilities being limited by the scheme and play calling?
It is a chicken and egg argument
It’s a guess
But I when asked, the offense is delivering – Waddle had 12 catches for 58 yards yesterday. That’s a weird stat and exposes that they are just throwing the ball short to him and hoping he breaks one
That’s no way to build an offense IMO
Definitely agreed – a very high percentage of plays that I saw were Waddle, Grant, etc. running short drag routes. I even saw some short routes for Fuller. I know you need to mix it up to keep the defense honest, but it was way more that that. If they have speed why isn’t that being used more than 5-10 yards off the LOS? It’s either the scheme (like you said ‘hope they break some’) or the don’t trust the o-line to hold long enough often enough. Frustrating to see speed guys running routs near the LOS though.
Since we only run 35 plays a game our DL gets more opportunities 😜
Has anyone heard how the O plays are being called? If not why are we assuming it’s done by both guys?
I don’t believe Flores has made that public knowledge
It’s an assumption
But what’s worse, two OCs who call plays
Or having an OC that doesn’t actually call the plays
What exactly is the point of two OCs?
Do they split playcalling. Is one of them the guy that drafts plays and the other one the guy who calls it in game – that’s ridiculous if true
The concept is a little odd
Coordinators are already working within the scope of the coaches vision for the team, so what they do might be widdled down to deal with that
Our OCs don’t just have to meet Flores expectation, they have to compromise their own to work with one another
Unless of course they both share a brain and can speak telepathically which I’m ruling out….
if this is how bad the schemes/play calling are with 2 OCs, maybe we should try 3 OCs???
Lol!
